people who are so enthusiastic about the things i make and the fandoms i rep at my booth are THE #1 coolest part of the experience 🥺 i feel like convention artist alleys these days are mostly filled with the same 4 popular anime/mobile games and it's really hard to find less popular anime, let alone things like video games and webseries. you would not believe how many comments I got that people never see things like Team Fortress 2 or Portal in AAs, let alone stuff like Infinity Train or HLVRAI 😭 the people who recognize them are always SO excited and then I'M excited and we are BOTH excited and nerding out together. it's fantastic!!!

the hlvrai fandom is definitely still going strong! i still see a lot of fanart and community posts and my sales on my few hlvrai things on my etsy have Not slowed down lmao. i'm sure if covid didn't happen there would have been so many benry cosplayers in 2020. we were ROBBED </3 i've seen You and one benry cosplayer at ACEN last year and that was IT </3 </3 </3

Dressing him up! There's Something about that #Like a living museum - how much does ZEX project onto the Captain? There's a lot of weird vibes around them <3 #He wants A Human and he has His Human but hmmm ♪#Well for the time being that's his only human - and seeing as he's collared but without a leash in the last one he's not running away!#It's progress haha #Hhhh drawing the Captain in pirate garb really is one of my favourites <3 I had so much fun the first times around and it's still fun!#His hair is for some reason I cannot explain easier to draw in this setting - there is no explanation I can think of but it is! Why fight it #ZEX is also very fun to draw in pirate gear haha ♫ I really think it's one of his handsomest interpretations #I always think he's pretty! #rat rambles #oni posting #the second half fills you with the horrors so you forget that the log opened up with that b111-1 bomb #for the record a paradox is one of my favorite lore logs of all of them because its the log that made me go Oh Shit and go reread all the #olivia logs I initially only skimmed through and begun the olivia brain takeover #the second part rewired my brain irreversably like its so fucked I love it #in particular one thing that makes me so fucking glad that the old olivia jackie logs were scrapped is that originally jackie was the one #who printing pod ified olivia to save her from the end of the world or smth #but the change to make it self inflicted? fucking amazing ten million times better and more interesting #especially because it implies she did it on purpose!#which opens up so many doors and I fucking Love it #because the teleportation technology was what she knew of as a method of doing this but either A shed have to have kept using teleporters #anyways and either just count on her not dying or counting On her dying #or shed have to know the link between it and the neural vaculators #which is very possible considering Stuff™ but does raise the question of how she used it #now the boring answer is that her brain map was already taken from the neural vaculator tests but god. that answer is boring.#the most interesting possibility to me personally is that she could have well. tinkered a bit with existing technology.#unlikely? maybe. fun to explore for my purposes? yep.#also I need the peace of knowing that jackie never got the satisfaction of knowing what happened with olivia's dissapearance #or if she did only after the fact #I need this to have been completely out of jackie's viewpoint at the top and I need it to fuck with her and shatter her worldview #I need to see the desperation and paranoia of a woman who is realizing that she has lost control over her technology #I need to see her try to cling onto her past ambitions and sense of control while falling apart at the seams #and I need olivia to have never thought jackie would give a shit until all else but her is dead and gone #do you see my vision do you see it do you see how much more fun it is if it was extremely deliberate instead of only lightly so

speaking of stickers, guess what, i'm STILL hemming and hawing over patreon stuff...considering just letting all the sketchbook stuff hang out in the $5 dollar tier again bc man. whatever! I don't really care about price walling my doodles! I much prefer thinking of tier rewards as little thank you gifts of whatever I happen to have on me rather than products. like lovingly handing you my pocket lint and a cool rock SO ANYWAYS these would all cost roughly the same for me I think, which is the most tasty and delicious?

#it’s my own fault I got really excited about 3D printing some stuff and the resin smells awful #I can feel it killing off brain cells as I write this #no I have the windows and door open and fan going and these stupid tiny air filters I have for some reason so it’s fine but also just bleghh #tbh it smells more like isopropyl alcohol than resin #I changed out the wash bc it was full of semicured bits but I spilled a bunch bc I am bad at physically existing #it’s fine I have been wearing my p100 mask all day bc I was painting stuff so I will just keep wearing it #today was for printing and painting and tomorrow will be for sanding and filing the 20 things I printed 🙃#I am in a hell of my own creation tbh #it is taking every fiber of restraint to not yell about the things I printed #I am very bad at surprises #secrets okay but when it’s a surprise for someone I’m like IM GIVIGN IT TO THEM ANYWAY I CAN JUST TELL THEM ITS FINE #no SHUSH it’s a SURPRISE shhh have self control for ONE SECOND jeez #reminding myself that people can read my tags so I can’t just say everything in my brain currently #but I am super excited at how things are turning out hehe #pissed that the gloves aren’t identical though. why can’t I just be perfectly ambidextrous to better facilitate painting both hands #it’s fine though it’s fine that’s what touching up with a brush afterward is for #and so so so many q tips lol #water soluble paint is a blessing and a curse #debating how I want to paint the [redacted] and [also redacted] tomorrow hmmmmmmmm #I should see if I have any shiny clear coat :> for reasons :>#we’ll see!!!!
