Hello cuties! Since I’ve reappeared after months without any updates, I think it’s only fair to fill you in on the situation: Leo and I broke up more than 6 months ago and he already has a new mommy.

I miss him terribly and I miss treating him like a baby and changing his diapers. Unfortunately, he wants a life that increasingly resembles that of a real baby while I’m looking for a partner who makes me feel like a woman and not a mommy 🤷🏻‍♀️

i have seen so many people on tiktok (men. of course it's men) that have done a "cosplay" of the menendez brothers (nicholas and erik) for this year's halloween. the comments? "yk what hell yeah", "imma take both", etc etc. not a single hate comment in sight. people found it fun, a way of showing appreciation for the actors & the show itself... for me, it is still disgusting.

the edits. the edits of nicholas and cooper as lyle and erik. sexualising them, basically ━ sexualising the "characters", the people who went through abuse and killed their parents in self defence.

but when nicholas takes a picture with ━ probably ━ fans or friends who dressed up as them, everyone tries to... cancel him? oh i just have to fucking laugh.

I am sharing my whole trailer reaction after seeing everyone's opinion on Twitter and Tumblr so read fully before misinterpreting-

firstly lemme clearify that these two pics are not from same scenario. These two are quite different

this girl is not the one in left pic. Scenes are very much different. It's clear she's only in episode 1 as dancer, she is not Alys rivers or anyone else bc I saw many people claiming this stupid theory. This actress kika green already announced this.

Now this pic is very much gives vibes of aemma arryn as she was about to have a small comeback in s2 and this women gives Aemma more than Rhaenyra or Helaena and I seriously don't think this scene is supposed to be some hot sex scene.

It's very much Viserys & Aemma in someone's vision or dream. It can be anyone's vision or dream though whether it's deamon, Rhaenyra or Helaena.

Either it's deamon or someone else old checking on Rhaenyra whether she's fine or not. Or

I would say even though Stucky will most likely lose we still definitely won. Even though it's been close Stucky has consistently been in the lead for the majority of the poll. We were winning at 50.7% a few hours ago but OurFMD fans posted about the poll in multiple facebook groups, twitter, and reddit so there was a huge influx of votes for them from people making accounts just to vote in the poll. Unfortunately the poll runner's response to the voter fraud was "This has never been fair. Voter fraud has literally always been allowed. If you don't like it, fraud harder."

Aahhh well, there you go! This is part of the reason why I said in my tags that polls like these are silly. They're never going to be fully transparent and honest, and there's always going to be people who will vote for the underdog because they like to see the popular option fail etc. That's just how it is, so I normally don't even vote on popularity polls, but made an exception for this one because it's made such an impact in the fandom the past week.

Anyway, you're absolutely right, Stucky is such a significant, influential ship already, and one tumblr poll is not going to diminish its importance or impact in any way. So really, they'll always win because they've already won 🤷🏻‍♀️

If you play a Viera, you've probably noticed that your beloved WoL doesn't quite look the same- specifically the nose, and to a lesser extent with their eyes.

That's all pointed out and discussed in the thread. And yes, I did voice my opinion to it 🙃

I'm trying to find some comparison screenies of my bunboi and fembun to contribute here.

The thing I was worried about, and still kind of am even after going through the benchmark- is the strange "shine" you see on bunboi's noses in certain areas, or at random times. I couldn't find any rhyme or reason to why or when this would happen 🤷🏻‍♀️

We were also shown a preview of bunboi's with their nose like 7 shades darker than their skin tone and that didn't sit well with me. Between that and the shine? No. Just no.

Another thing I noticed in the benchmark is that they removed the colored eyelashes from Face 1 (the face I'm using on my bunboi). It's literally like, 1 of the 2 primary reasons I chose this face to begin with. (They usually match your hair color.)

You can see some of this "so called shine" in some of these, but it's not as bad as I thought it'd be originally. I guess I can live with it and over time I'll probably get used to it.

I can probably even get over the fact that his white eyelashes are gone, though I'll miss them. I don't know... 😖

I do appreciate the updated quality of the hair, and the iris/eyes, and his facial feathers. I also like that the added "lip color" I gave him appears to be matte and not a gloss, but I'm not sure how other people will like that, lol.

ALSO. There's a very specific scene in the benchmarker that shows your WoL's face so much better but for some strange stupid reason you cannot take screenies during it. I feel like SE really let the ball slip there.

There's probably a reason for it, and then again there might not be- because if I really wanted to, there are loop holes and I could still get those screenshots if I had more time, Lol 😅

I don't have a plethora of screenshots of my fembun like I do of my bunboi- but looking at my fembun specifically I'm realizing her bunny nose doesn't seem that prominent, even now? I guess I thought it was defined more 🤔. Perhaps it's the lighting of this specific shot.

I was going through this phase of changing her hair color from red to yin yang colors, back to red, back to yin yang, rinse & repeat, so...

Again, I appreciate the high quality in the iris/eyes, hair, facial features- like her tattoos.

It does seem like the highlights in her eyes get a little lost, if that makes sense? The anime type white reflection. Not just for her but for my bunboi too. I think that goes for all character now- I've seen this commented about all across Twitter (yeah I know it's called X, but I'll never call it X).

Her bunny nose seems to disappear in many scenes and then it "seems" to be there in some scenes. I don't know what to make of it.

I feel so wishy washy with this graphics update. There are parts I like and parts I dislike. At this point I'm wondering if it's that whole mentality of "People dislike change" / "People fear the unknown" and over time we'll get used to it.

But also, I've seen some comparisons of people's characters and the overall appearance, the overall vibe of their character has totally shifted. It's understandable they're upset.

I want to offer a couple of pieces of advice here. If you have any commentary to add about Vieras (or any other characters really- like moon kitties got royally shafted on their fangs)- please visit that thread and put your two cents in. Hopefully SE will see it and potentially listen to the community feedback. But in the case of Moon kitties, there's likely a respective thread for them so you'll have to seek out that thread.

The other thing is, take advantage of this benchmarker in tandem with our free fantasia (coming soon). I feel the character creation screen does not properly display what our characters are going to look like once ingame. Do not take the character creation screen at face value. Create and/or modify your character in the benchmarker (you can save your character data). Play it out- make sure you're happy with how they look in the benchmarker. Then go on and use that fantasia. You can load the saved data from the benchmarker into the real game. (unless they changed things, which I highly doubt)

Been a while since I've fully written out my thoughts on the recent BC chapters. (I think May was the last time I did?) Anywho, these are my opinions—and I stress, MY OPINIONS!—on the recent chapters. I have to admit that my feelings about them are mixed, and I'll get into why. (Probably gonna get cancelled over this but yolo I guess loool)

First, I'd like to address the difference between Tumblr & Twitter discourse regarding Black Clover. From my personal experience, I find that Twitter discourse is more focused on the fights & power-ranking system—which, of course, is absolutely essential to the genre. Power-ups are a tangible way of measuring character growth, after all.

On the other hand, Tumblr discourse is more focused on the relationships between the characters & the overarching narrative of the work. Now, I'm not saying that one is better than the other, because all of these elements are important. I had to talk about the distinction because my criticisms of the recent chapters might be better explained with this context in mind.

As someone who enjoys BC specifically because of the relationships between the characters and the world-building, I've found that the story post-Elf arc has been really... flat. I know Twitter folks will say that BC's pacing has always been quick, but I've been missing some moments where the characters just have room to breathe, you know? Like when Spade Raid ended, we had half a chapter of fun before immediately jumping into the next arc, and I feel like it would have been nice to get a little more exposition on how Spade changed character dynamics. Like, they could have given us a little Greyche moment so their current state in the manga would hit that much harder. Or more bonding time between Nacht and the Bulls, so we appreciate their determination to find Asta together a little more? Does this make any sense? Lmao

Adding to that, I think the quick pacing is detrimental to BC's strengths. A lot of people like the story because there are so many characters with very interesting backstories and motivations, but the nature of the storytelling doesn't leave a lot of room to explore the depths of these characters. Tbh, the Black Bulls' stories are just as important to tell as Asta's journey to becoming WK. Side characters enrich the world, so I'm not a huge fan of glossing over what could have been really impactful moments for characters other than Asta/Yuno/Yami to shine.

For example, someone brought up a great point that the BB fight against Damnatio was symbolic of the uprooting of Clover's caste system. You have this group of outcasts, some who were personally victimized by the corruption of the kingdom as represented by Damnatio, fighting to save the people who shunned them. It would have been nice to get flashbacks of the way that the kingdom has affronted them: Zora grappling with his dad's death and what it meant to be a Magic Knight, Gauche's history of being a convict and being separated from his only family, etc.

I'm glad that we at least had that moment with Nero, and we got to see how Asta specifically changed the trajectory of her life; how she sees Lumiere's vision of the world in Asta's ideal vision when he becomes WK. But I wish they had done the same for the other Bulls or even non-Bulls too, especially since Lucius mentioned that this whole timeline was affected by Asta. That's why I'm sort of disappointed that Asta came back right away to end things. I feel like it would have been more significant if Damnatio had been heavily injured and Asta were to deal the last blow than an unharmed Damnatio and Asta landing a fatal blow only once.

I'm still holding out hope that we'll get more of the Bulls in this arc, though there are currently a lot of loose ends and Asta's already back in the picture. I hope we get followups on Noelle/Acier, YamiChar/Morgen, and Mereo/Morris before Asta ends the battle, but idk what I'm talking about as usual 🤷🏻‍♀️

I know you have spoken about this in detail so you might not want to speak again about it but there is a photo going around about Mijoo and JK where there are so many similarities with Tattoos (both seem to have the hand tattoo with the plus signs in the middle), piercings - the eyebrow piercings. To be honest the backhug looks intimate. Since Korean men don't interact openly with women especially in public, isn't there a possibility that they were together? I know it gets thrown that she had a boyfriend but apparently that was her friends boyfriend not hers. Why is there an acceptance that they weren't together? I know the company denied the rumours and so did she but of course they would deny it. BTS were on the verge of super stardom so it makes sense that the company denies these rumours. I don't know but I can't help but think that maybe we have been wrong about Jikook.

I'm not even a Jon fan in particular, but as a Sansa and Dorne stan, Kit making twitter Targ stans lose what little was left of their pea-sized minds has been most pleasing to me. They really shouldn't have talked all that shit and karma is just coming back to bite as it always does with that fandom. I hope the Snow announcement comes soon and I hope we at least get a Sansa cameo in the show. However, if Kit is going to have his man pain over killing a genocidal tyrant be a main point in the show he can keep it lmao.

(Context: “Targ nation” was tweeting out revenge porn of Kit and making fun of his addiction and saying all sorts of horrible things about him and his wife after he recently defended Jon killing Dany. He used a lot of mitigating language, said he wished the characters had more time together, talked about how close his wife and Emilia are, but they were incensed.)

I try not to care too much about interviews because actors contradict themselves all the time. Kit said post s8 that supporting Dany made you “complicit” which means it’s possible he thinks that Jon was complicit too, that he might deal with that in the sequel, and that his show won’t glamorize Dany. So, I can simply take everything he says in interviews in the lead-up to his show as him trying not to estrange fans. Maybe Dany stans should be happy he still thinks they’re a gettable audience or he might be saying worse? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I mentioned the other day that I would enjoy a chance for Jon to deal with his trauma from dying, finding out about his parents, the wars he was involved in…I mean, there is a lot of stuff I would love for them to dig into which GoT totally neglected, but, grieving for a mass murderer is definitely not something I’m up for. Obviously, we don’t know for sure that’s where he’d take things, but there were quotes that seemed to point there. Or at least, that he thinks there’s still some question about the ethics of killing Dany. He said Ned wouldn’t approve since he didn’t approve of Jaime killing Aerys, but that ignores one tiny little detail. Ned didn’t know what Aerys wanted to do to KL, but Dany had already burned KL when Jon killed her. That kinda removes any moral ambiguity?

Furthermore, whatever code of honor Ned espoused and wanted to live by, he committed treason, betrayed his best friend and king, to protect an innocent life—Jon’s. To act like he would disapprove of Jon taking action to save thousands upon thousands of children, to save Winterfell, Ned’s daughters, to save Sansa, well, that’s just silly. I’m not saying he wouldn’t feel shame, Jon carries a lot of shame, but we can feel bad about having to take certain actions even if it is unequivocally the right thing to do. Not every choice is easy, and that’s certainly something Martin loves to explore. That could have been what Kit was trying to get at, who knows.

Anyway, I’m not sure which moral paradigm the sequel will be written from, and I’m not really looking forward to finding out 😂

It’s good for like 99.9%. Which for the internet is really really good. So much better than Twitter. Made some new frens. So that’s cool. Some of it isn’t for me, but I generally just stay in my own lane and post the content I want to see. Did have one anon ✨super✨ pissed and condescending at me because I didn’t sensor a particular (piece of shit) players name once. aside from that tho…..it’s great here….maybe because I’ve always seen tumblr as me shouting into a void where nothing matters and whatever you want to post about goes, because it’s more for you than anyone else. And tbh there are some days when I’m stuck at work during a game where I live for the “#kraken lb” it’s actually a pretty great community….especially for those who don’t connect with in person people extremely well.

I don’t know how people will feel about this, but the fact that Frances was posting Evan on social media was like… the thing that bothered me the least. We are in a social media era, and she is part of the demographic that uses social media the most, so I can’t expect a young 22 year old to not post pictures of her boyfriend, regardless of whether he is famous or not. There is no way to know how Evan felt about casually being on her Instagram feed, so her posting him social media alone, to me, is not enough to not like her. The instagram live, her private fin-Dom Twitter and all her posts on there and tumblr about her “rich boyfriend”, all the posts about being “jealous of nepo babies who have a nothing life”, her lack of work ethic yet wanting to be famous… I am not going to doubt the possibility of her having feelings for him, cause again that’s only something Frances can answer, but those things I mentioned were what really made the whole thing seem not-genuine.

i agree in that personally, i don’t think frances owed it to any jealous fans to hide her boyfriend away so they didn’t have to see them together. i don’t even think you can truly say one way or the other whether or not evan cared about what she did post. as it pertains to her social media behavior, the only thing that i will say about frances is that it is disingenuous for her to pretend she was trying to “hide” herself, her relationship, or anything.. the reality is that anyone who was trying to avoid engaging with fans would not post all of the things she did. once she saw the reaction, the wise thing to do would have been to leave it off social media. as i said, i think fran let her worst inclinations take hold and when she could have potentially contained the situation, she escalated it. we would quite literally know nothing about her and evan if she didn’t post about him. so the problem for frances is more so that she gave people already foaming at the mouth to hate her ammunition - joking about her old sugar daddy getting cancer, posting about her throwing temper tantrums and getting her “rich bf” to buy her things, calling people ugly, and just leaning into acting as an entitled princess slash onlyfans creator who made jokes about how women shouldn’t have fought for the right to work. so naturally, folks are going to look at this girl dating a guy she calls her rich boyfriend and think she’s using him. and everything just went to hell in a hand basket, as we all well know. the legitimate criticism got lost in a sea of hate.

now, a year later, frances is in the middle of a rebrand. she’s gone from sugar baby who dreams of unemployment and being a kept woman, to a creative artist who lost her spark while dating evan. she complains about capitalism and poverty in the same week she’s been posting about a month long trip to italy. she’s complaining about her past relationship causing issues for her, when she reveled in the tit for tat so long as she was enjoying the spoils of dating evan. and still, when she’s cash strapped, desperate for engagement and patreon subscribers, she looks to the same people she admonishes the most: his nosy, prying fans. she opens up her previously privated instagram page and allows all the people she once denied access in. she’s started posting asks that are clearly alluding to evan and their relationship. all this says to me is that she has always wanted the attention it brought her to date a celebrity if it was going to move her to social media influencer status, it just didn’t work out for her. with that said, i also agree only she knows what she truly felt for evan. i don’t think any of this necessarily means she didn’t love and care for him. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Zhongli x Guizhong

I've shipped them pretty much since I started playing the game in 2021. I got super invested into Zhongli's lore and eventually came across her name. Then I started digging deeper into her lore and theories about her and fell in love with her and the ship.

I suppose this is something of a niche ship? Especially now with the new Lantern Rite where GuiPing seems to have overtaken it. And I've already seen people attacked over shipping GuiLi because of that too on twt now... cause apparently it's homophobic to ship them now? Idk... make it make sense. This is why I usually stay out of this.

2. Cyno x Tighnari

These two... I swear Sumeru has changed me somehow because as I stated in prior asks: I'm usually not into shipping characters so whenever I start liking two characters I have a sort of "denial stage" at first where I'm like "nah, I don't ship them... or maybe... no.... yes?".

And at first I was like "yeah they're best friends, whatever"... then I saw more and more fanart and was like "yeah, you know what, they're kinda cute." and eventually fanart converted me into shipping them. So, good job fanartists - the domestic and cuddly scenarios you put them in made me cave 👌🏻

And lastly...

3. Alhaitham x Kaveh

This one also seems to be quite popular and I basically just got past the above mentioned denial stage, haha! 😂

I have to admit I couldn't stand Kaveh at all at first, he seemed like a handful and I was like "yeah, they'd never get along in a million years, especially not as a couple."

Then I played Haitham's story quest and saw the interaction with Kaveh... then I saw more fanart again. Then [insert denial stage here] and I guess I'm now at the point where I can say, yeah... I like them and I also like Kaveh now... he is just such a kindhearted soul (even if he is a bit eccentric, I suppose).

I want to mention that I am really lost when it comes to shipping terminology and I also don't really want to get involved in all that stuff. It's all a bit too stressful for me.

I do want to draw fanart of these ships but I'm a bit too scared to do so and only drew things that could be interpreted as both ship or platonic (they're posted on my art blog, I'll keep this blog clear of that). Because I've seen how vile shippers get towards other ships at times when they don't like the portrayed one... instead of - you know - ignoring it??? Especially on twt.

And don't get me started on some "rules" people have put up for shipping. Like, just let me have the idea of two fictional characters being all lovey-dovey. If it makes me or anyone else happy, who cares? (as long as it isn't problematic ships ofc...)

I never intend to write ship fanfic however since that is something I also don't enjoy consuming myself. I always preferred self-insert 🤷🏻‍♀️

And lastly, idc if anyone ships these peeps with someone else or doesn't ship them with anyone at all. It's fictional characters and at the end of the day... it ain't that deep (which is why I'll never understand why some people make such a fuss over it...)
