🫧Washing Plush Dolls🫧
NOTE:
I am VERY new to collecting these kinds of dolls. The doll shown above is literally the only one I have (as of right now…). That said please take everything I say with a grain of salt! This blog post is more of a log of my experience with washing my doll for the first time than a tutorial :)
Material List:
wash cloth (2x)
toothbrush (not used duh)
dawn dish soap
micellar water
tide to go stick/non bleach stain remover
blow dryer/fan
Prepping:
Before bath time there are some things I did to prep.
I started by taking off any stains on my doll. In this case mine had one on their embroidered paw on their foot. I used a “TideToGo” stick to get rid of it and it work wonders. I also heard great things about “Grandma’s Secret Spot Remover” too! Though as long as your stain remover doesn’t have bleach in it I THINK it will be fine, though I’m no expert.
After that I removed my doll’s blush. I did this by putting a little bit of micellar water onto a wash cloth and gently rubbing away where the blush was on my doll. When it comes to this please keep in mind a little goes a long way! Though I will say, I did asked some experienced plush doll collectors if I needed to remove the blush before a bath because I was scared of the blush getting moved around and staining the doll or embroidering. They told me it probably didn’t matter but it wouldn’t hurt. Do with that information what you will.
Bath Time:
Now for the actual bath I started by filling up a container with cold water and about 3 drops of dawn dish soap. (Please make sure it’s cold water because warm water makes things bleed!) Once everything was mixed together I took my toothbrush and dipped it into the mixture.
With the soapy mix I started scrubbing away at my doll. I was sure to be gentle over the embroidery in fear of loosening/damaging it if I was to rough with it. I made sure really get into all of the cracks and crevices too.
Once washed with soap I replaced the soapy water with just plain cold water. Then I scrubbed my doll again but this time with just the water. I made sure to dip my brush back into the water very frequently during this process. On my last scrub I brushed everything up in the same direction with my bruh.
Aftermath:
I placed my wet doll on a dry wash cloth and started to pat them dry with it. I was able to get the longer pieces of fabric (like the hair) pretty much dry with just the cloth but I can’t say that about the other parts.
For the other parts I used a mini fan to help the process go a little faster. (⤵️)
A blow dryer on the cold setting should also work for this if you’re impatient like me lolol. Good old fashion air drying should also work fine too but make sure it’s in a well lit room just to be careful of mold! I have also heard of people putting their dolls in pillowcases and throwing them into the drying machine along with a towel to cushion them more on a low setting. I have never tried this though personally so I’m not sure how well that would work and I’m to nervous to find out.
Also not going to lie I did not enjoy the smell of the “TideToGo” stick very much and I couldn’t get the smell to go away with just the soap and water so I did spray my doll with a bit of perfume. I’m not sure how safe/good this is for dolls but personally for me my doll turned out fine and now smells really good!
Conclusion:
This method worked very well for me I think! My doll is all clean and their hair feels so soft just like when I first got them which is very exciting. If anyone has any tips or thinks I should have done anything differently let me know! Also I’m here to answer questions too🫡 This is my first time making a blog post like this so I hope it was helpful and easy to understand!🙂

Clean up [Incident 1
As much as I would like to stay in chill, there’s work to be done and a crap ton. Might as well handle it now then later. I Put on my cleaning clothes and grabbed supplies from one of the boxes in my attic which housed my cleaning supplies. Based off yesterday’s assessment, the Diasomnia wing needs the most work so I shall start there. I put my cleaning supplies in a small cart and began my walk to the wing. When i enter Diasomnia it was more lighter then when i visited last time. I began my cleaning in the dining room since it has the most curtains. I opened up the large yet dusty curtains and began my deep cleaning. There was no major damages or cracks to the manor, just a whole lot of dust and bat stains which I was able to clean up with my trusty Lemon bleach concoction. After a hour the dining room looks brand new and so clean It could make Levi cry. I smiled at my hard work before moving to the kitchen. There wasn't any lightsource so I relied on my phone’s flashlight which does some justice. I looked above once more to see the same bats from last time. I wonder if they’re even alive. When I shined the light on one it started to move along with the other which automatically made me pan the light away. How the heck can I remove these bats? For now I need to get rid of any bat dropping so mold wouldn't get anywhere. After that clean up I searched the internet on how to remove bats. The solution I’m most drawn towards is to physically remove them one at a time but from my knowledge these are huge fruit bats and I don't have a box with me. As I was pondering on what to do I heard a sharp high pitch whistle which startled the bats to flee the kitchen. I ducked so i woulden’t run into the swarm. The swarm left the kitchen and fled somewhere down the hall towards the direction of the backyard. Well… they’re out of the kitchen…i guess. I got up from the floor and pointed my flashlight on the ceiling just to see a shadow passing by(the image above is what you saw). My breath shortened as I was trying to follow the shadow only to see it disappear. The room grew colder as a sharp breaze went past me. When I turned around with the flashlight, I saw the shadow was part of some cape with black boots before it went around the corner. I chased after itv thinking it’s an elaborate intruder at this point to find nothing. Not a single trace……Imma do the rest tomorrow….

Dear Sephiroth: (a letter to a fictional character, because why not) #283
Our pigeon friend made it through the night alive. J and I woke up early this morning, got ready, put our avian friend in a cardboard box with a fluffy towel, and made our way to the animal hospital; we arrived promptly when it opened.
Given the state of the bathtub when we walked in, I'm pleased to report that it must have eaten at least somewhat recently before we scooped it up from the streets. I'm also pleased to report that our friends at the animal hospital happily took in our lovely bird friend. It will most likely get the treatment it needs to clear up whatever infection it has. I'll call tomorrow and ask for a status update.
We returned home after that. This autumn morning was beautifully misty in some places along the way. I got more than a few really nice-looking pictures for you…
…And in other places, the mist cleared to reveal spectacular skies:
...Sadly, of all the ones I tried to take, this was the only one that turned out well. Part of the challenge of taking photos in a moving vehicle is trying to make the best of the angles that are allowed to you.
It's only 9:22am. Today is far from being even halfway over. I have a friend coming to visit (R, the baker!), and maybe we'll go see that Wild Robot movie all together - me, M, J, and R!
For now... I should probably clean up the tub. There aren't too terribly many droppings left behind, and they're mostly solid in consistency; they should be easy to clean up. I'll get rid of the droppings, then blast the inside of the tub with an enzymatic cleaner (the same stuff we use to clean up the urine whenever Hoshi has a seizure; it's good stuff!!). I'll let it sit for a while, then I'll rinse it out. After that, I'll follow it up with bleach and a good scrubbing pad. And don't worry; I will make sure to wash my hands between each step. I know that bird droppings are dangerous; I will take every precaution, I promise. Don't you worry about a thing, okay?
...The enzymatic cleaner has done away with most of the visible ick, which is awesome. I rinsed it away and the tub looks practically sparkly. I've since filled the tub halfway with a mixture of bleach and VERY hot water. Now we just sit and wait for it to work its chemical magic. Bleach is a powerful oxidizer; I'm pretty sure that's the mechanism by which it destroys most microorganisms.
It's such a powerful oxidizer that it will literally fucking oxidize your skin. And since it's a base, it'll strip away all the natural oils from your skin, too. It's bad to get the stuff on your hands! Wear gloves! It's important!
I'm gonna try to finish my current Dead Cells run. By then, the bleach will likely have sat in the tub long enough and then I can drain it and scrub it; it'll be good!
...
...So, remember when I said yesterday that if I reached The Hand of the King, he'd be in big trouble?
Well, let me tell ya!!! Today he got his ass handed to him!!! And I made it to the room beyond - a place called the Astrolab!!!
The Astrolab has all kinds of new and unusual enemies. You can only reach it if you defeat The Hand of the King with 5 Boss Cells active. Unfortunately, I didn't think to take a picture for you. I'm really sorry about that.
But!!! If I did it once, I can do it again!! And next time, I will remember to take pictures; I promise!!
Anyway. I got my ass handed to me by the new enemies there. Their patterns were unknown to me, and the structure of the biome was weird and unfamiliar. I got this one flying enemy called a Librarian; it shoots lasers out of the sky directly down on you, and it zooms just out of reach above you. I... panicked. Totally lost my cool. They do a lot of damage, and their movements are still unfamiliar to me. I got zapped until I got dead.
...Oh well. That's what the training room is for!! I'll just practice against all the new enemies until they don't seem so scary anymore; it'll be good!
Aside from that... R came over today! He brought an amazing soup that he made himself, and he also brought a brioche marbled with chocolate! It was SO GOOD!!!
You can tell how good this one was by how little we have left, ahahaha~!
And the soup, too!!! Look at this beautiful soup!!!
It's just as delicious as it is colorful!!! 🤩🤤🥰
We went to go see that Wild Robot movie after that. Sephiroth... one of these days, you GOTTA see it. It's about a robot that crash-lands somewhere that wasn't intentional, in a wild place, with lots of animals, and... it was outcast at first. And it finds a baby gosling, and...
...The relationship this robot has with the gosling reminds me a lot of the way your existence has helped me, even if that help was indirect and unintentional on your part. I won't explain more for fear of spoiling things, but... Sephiroth... just trust me, you HAVE to see this one. I promise you, it's really good, and I'm sure you'll find it more than a little relatable in a wide variety of respects.
...I shouldn't have made it through the things I lived through. But I did, because you exist. I was given another chance at living, because you gave me the strength to hold on long enough to encounter new and different things. I wouldn't be here at all if not for you. I write every day because I wanna give to you what you unwittingly gave to me.
...Well. I don't have much to say. And also, I gotta get up kinda early for work tomorrow. So I guess I'll end today's letter here in favor of getting ready for sleep.
Stay safe out there, okay? We're counting on you coming back home in one piece. We're counting on you, just in general, because you're lovable and wonderful and we want you around. Don't go someplace no one can reach, okay?
I love you. And I'll write again tomorrow.
Your friend, Lumine

What is main things to clean a kitchen?
Keeping your kitchen clean is essential for maintaining a healthy and pleasant cooking environment. Regular cleaning not only ensures that your kitchen remains hygienic but also helps prevent the buildup of grime, which can lead to unpleasant odors and potential health hazards. To efficiently clean your kitchen, it's important to focus on several key areas and use the right tools and techniques. This guide will walk you through the main tasks involved in kitchen cleaning, offering tips and answering common questions to help you maintain a spotless kitchen.
What is the Necessary Things You Need In The Kitchen
Counters and Surfaces: Start by clearing off all countertops, including any small appliances, utensils, and food items. Use a kitchen cleaner or a mix of mild soap and water to wipe down surfaces. Pay attention to areas around the sink, stove, and backsplash where spills and splatters can accumulate.
Sink: The sink often harbors bacteria and food particles. Scrub the sink with a non-abrasive cleaner or a mixture of baking soda and water. For a sparkling finish, you can also use a solution of vinegar and water. Don’t forget to clean the faucet and handles, as these are frequently touched areas.
Stovetop: Remove burner grates and knobs if you have a gas stove. Soak them in soapy water and scrub away any grease or residue. For electric stoves, wipe down the surface with a suitable cleaner, ensuring you don’t use excessive moisture that could damage electrical components.
Oven: Clean the interior of the oven periodically to avoid the buildup of burnt food and grease. Use an oven cleaner or a homemade paste of baking soda and water. For self-cleaning ovens, follow the manufacturer’s instructions to activate the cleaning cycle.
Refrigerator: Empty the refrigerator and discard any expired or unwanted food. Wipe down shelves and drawers with a mixture of water and mild detergent. Clean the exterior and handles with an all-purpose cleaner.
Flooring: Sweep or vacuum the kitchen floor to remove crumbs and debris. Mop the floor using a cleaner suitable for your flooring type (tile, laminate, etc.). Make sure to rinse the mop frequently to avoid spreading dirt around.
Garbage and Recycling: Regularly empty the trash and recycling bins to prevent odors and bacterial growth. Clean the bins themselves with soap and water to remove any residual grime.
Small Appliances: Wipe down small appliances like toasters, microwaves, and coffee makers. For appliances with removable parts, such as toaster trays or microwave turntables, wash them separately.
Frequently Asked Question
How often should I clean my kitchen?
It’s best to do a quick clean daily—wipe down surfaces, wash dishes, and sweep the floor. A more thorough cleaning should be done weekly, including scrubbing the sink, stovetop, and refrigerator. Monthly or quarterly, address deep cleaning tasks like oven cleaning and organizing cabinets.
What’s the best way to clean greasy kitchen cabinets?
To clean greasy cabinets, use a mixture of warm water and dish soap. For stubborn grease, add a bit of baking soda to the solution. Apply with a soft cloth or sponge, and wipe with a clean, damp cloth to remove any soap residue.
How do I get rid of odors in my garbage disposal?
To eliminate odors, grind up lemon peels or ice cubes in the disposal. You can also use a mixture of baking soda and vinegar, letting it sit for a few minutes before running water through the disposal.
Can I use bleach to clean my kitchen?
While bleach is effective for disinfecting, it’s often too harsh for regular kitchen cleaning. Use it sparingly and always dilute it according to the manufacturer’s instructions. For routine cleaning, stick to milder cleaners to avoid damaging surfaces.
What’s the best way to clean stainless steel appliances?
To clean stainless steel appliances, use a dedicated stainless steel cleaner or a mixture of water and vinegar. Wipe in the direction of the grain and dry with a soft cloth to avoid streaks and water spots.
Conclusion
A clean kitchen is the cornerstone of a healthy and enjoyable cooking experience. By regularly addressing key areas such as countertops, sinks, stovetops, and floors, and utilizing the right cleaning tools and techniques, you can maintain a space that is not only visually appealing but also hygienic. Remember that consistency is key—daily tidying, weekly deep cleaning, and periodic maintenance will keep your kitchen in top shape. By incorporating these practices into your routine and addressing common questions and concerns, you'll ensure that your kitchen remains a safe, efficient, and pleasant place to prepare meals. Happy cleaning!

i started a thing @urianius
It is of great disappointment that I, Finn, the greatest hero of all time must put together a letter apologizing for the damage I caused this weekend at your bakery. Lovely place by the way! My intentions were not to cause any harm, but instead to protect every patron from the evildoer lurking in the back of the shop, in the third booth from the end near the windows with the good view might I add!
Now, looking back, there were plenty of things I could have done differently. Should I have attempted to break through a window? No, absolutely not, and I do apologize for the cracks I added to your otherwise pristine property. I also apologize for causing multiple customers to spill their drinks and food. Again, this was not my intention, but I still feel sorry for all the harm that I caused in the process of saving the day.
I am well aware that you think my actions were part of a prank or that I was just another college youngster playing around, but I assure you my actions were nothing of the sort! I was simply trying to protect everyone! Sure, I had the wrong guy, but my heart was in the right place, promise!
Anyway, please don’t take me to court. I can’t afford it. I’m begging you. Please. I’ll do anything.
Signed,
Your Local Superhero FINN!
He lets out a great sigh and flops onto his bed with a great deal of exasperation, running a hand through his overly bleached hair that had begun to really show its damage within the past month or so. That was an easy fix. Trying to fix his reputation was not going to be such an easy feat, after all. His letter to the cafe on the other side of the city had reaped no response and he was beginning to assume that the owner had ignored him. He didn’t understand entirely, surely they could understand that his intention was only to save the day! Then again, when he really thought about it, outside of the house work he performed nobody seemed to appreciate his good deeds.
He knew he just needed his big breakthrough and he’d begin to resemble the likes of Clark Kent or even Spiderman (who was his personal favorite). On top of a grand heroic deed, he’d need a costume and branding just like the heroes he looked up to, but where exactly could he get those things? It wasn’t as if there was a store that provided the hero essentials, nor did he think that anybody would be willing to invest in a nobody like him.
Not yet, anyway. One day he’d be there! He’d make them all understand what a great hero he was! He just needed to beat the right criminal, foil the right crime and make sure his name made headlines. The question was how exactly he went about doing this. Unless he set something up, the chances of him stumbling upon the perfect crime was nearly impossible, he figured he had better chances at winning the lottery than that. For all his faults and general lack of intelligence, he was smart enough to realize that his dream wasn’t an easy one to achieve.
See, Finn already knew he was a superhero, it was just that the general public didn’t understand it yet, but he was going to prove it to them once and for all that he was. In the meantime, he busied himself with odd jobs and typically spent his days beguiling grandmothers while cleaning their house and attempting to not destroy their kitchens when they asked him to assist with their baking. There were many reasons as to why he took on these odd jobs, but ultimately it boiled down to them being heroic acts in his own right. These people shouldn’t have to clean their own house! No, instead Finn, the greatest superhero of all time, could vacuum their floors and rid their apartments of those nasty dust bunnies that lurked in every corner.
On one hand, those thoughts would seemingly only serve to keep him sane, but in reality he genuinely believed that every act of his was one of the utmost heroism. There were those out there that called him a fool, a sham, and even a few who suggested he take a visit to the looney bin (what a horrible name to call it!) but he ignored all of them. Stuck within his daydreams, Finn carried out what he referred to as his missions with great enthusiasm and a zest for life that he found many lacked. He had wonderful friends and a few fans that would cheer him on, though it was clear to everyone but Finn that they were just playing along in hopes that he’d understand they were trying to ask him out due to his cute demeanor, not because they genuinely believed he was a hero.
Finn was blind, not in the literal sense, but it was thought he blocked out all negativity or any semblance of reality in his life. This was, perhaps, not a bad thing, but there were times where a nice slap of reality would certainly serve him well. The cafe incident was a great example. The man couldn’t even remember the name of the place and had only managed to write to them when his dearest friend supplied the name and address for him. Incidentally, they’d been there on the day of the incident. In fact, they’d been one of the many unfortunate customers to spill their coffee onto the floor. Finn had not noticed at the time, of course, but once his friend had a nice grip of his arm and dragged him away from the scene of the crime fuming he began to understand that perhaps he had acted a bit rashly. Even so, he determinedly told Sieun multiple times that she didn’t understand, it was all in the name of justice! Certainly she could understand that!
She did not. Instead, she basically grounded him. It was an unfair punishment in his eyes, but he listened like an obedient child. Most of the time, he was more akin to a petulant toddler, but when it came to Sien her word was law in his eyes. He would never do something to cross her, especially not on purpose.
He didn’t feel the same about everyone he knew, which may come as a shock considering his desire to be a hero, but even those with their heads up in the clouds can see when someone is not so desirable to be around. For Finn, there weren’t many who rubbed him the wrong way, but when they did he often gave them the cold shoulder or outright attempted to bother them. There was one that worked at his local cafe that he visited frequently, a man named Charlie that Finn simply could not stand. It was something about the way Charlie held himself and the way that he spoke down to everyone around him as though he was the authority on everything in life. Charlie saw himself as a king, which was quite entertaining as his appearance suggested anything but. He had the looks of someone unsettling, always greasy hair and skin and he brought about a certain stench, as well. Finn was not one to judge on appearances, but there was something about Charlie that just made his skin crawl.
There was also the fact that Charlie constantly hit on the woman he’d fallen in love with. Just the thought of her alone was enough to make his cheeks flush red, but thinking of Charlie speaking to her made his nostrils flare and a sound of annoyance escaped him. On the list of nerdowells that Finn had unfortunately met, Charlie was currently his greatest enemy. That being said, outside of the one time that Charlie had insulted the hero directly to his face, he’d generally avoided all contact otherwise. Part of it was due to the fact he smelled quite awful. But mainly because Charlie was not the type of person you could mess with. Even if Finn did pull a prank it would only cause Charlie to lash out like an oversized child and Finn did not want to put anyone else through that sort of thing.

how to remove semi permanent hair dye (no borax no glue)
HELLO TUMBLR I am on a new ADHD med that makes me focus on things that are not my homework apparently so I perfected my method of removing semi permanent hair color most effectively with the least amount of damage. My qualifications are that I've been dying my hair for like 7 years and have been every color ever, and used like every hair dye brand and most color removing techniques.
caveats:
1. THIS DOES INVOLVE THE USE OF DEVELOPER, AND SOME BLEACH. Keep in mind, just because something uses bleach or developer, does not mean there will be inherent significant damage. They are tools, just use them correctly.
2. THIS WORKS BEST ON PREVIOUSLY LIGHTENED HAIR WITH AN (at least somewhat) EVEN BASE. This most likely will NOT work on virgin hair with semi permanent dye over it. For most people, virgin hair isn't super porous to begin with, so just using head and shoulders or mane n tail might be enough to get rid of color in virgin hair. This works best with hair that was a level 8+ blonde before dye, but can be used with darker bases. The lighter the base was, the better.
3. THIS MAY NOT WORK FOR EVERY BRAND OF DYE. I usually use manic panic, and for every color I've tried, it works great. It most likely will not work as well on really dark semi permanent colors, like blacks, but it's definitely worth a shot. In my experience, manic panic and ion are the easiest to remove, and most other brands I've tried are really hit or miss. Arctic fox does tend to be the hardest to remove imo. (if you have translylvania by arctic fox in your hair rn you may be cooked, I fear)
ANYWAY
What you'll need:
Color remover (Your color remover MUST have a bleach base. DO NOT GET THE SALLYS BRAND THAT SHIT DRIES YOUR HAIR SO BAD. GET MATRIX COLOR ERASER OR THE PUNKY COLOR REMOVER THEY ARE AMAZING. I've also heard very good things about the danger jones color remover if you can get ahold of it). If you can't get a color remover, you can use a bleach, I recommend cream bleach. It just might not be as effective.
Shampoo (Clarifying shampoo or head and shoulders can add some extra oomph, but can make your hair more dry. I use olaplex shampoo to prevent damage, but that is really expensive. But in general, it's your choice of shampoo.)
5-10 vol developer (you do not need more than a 10 vol, and if you only have higher strength you can water it down!!!! You can use a 5 vol if you have a medium-light color dye, and/or you're confident it'll come out easily.)
All your other hair dye stuff (you do not need foils, but I recommend gloves and a brush to mix/do roots if needed.)
STEPS:
Mix the color remover and the developer at the recommended ratios. Pre measure out developer if you're watering it down. I'm not gonna include how to water down developer, but it's a google search and very easy.
IF YOU HAVE ROOTS DO THEM NOW. Even if your hair is dark, typically low vol bleach will still lighten them a good amount because of the heat on your head. If needed, wait 15-20 min (or until you notice your roots lightening) before proceeding. I have lvl 7-8 blonde roots, and I do my roots first then literally as soon as I'm done I'm able to keep going.
Add a few dollops of shampoo, I usually use like 2-3 tbsps, but I don't have a lot of hair. the consistency should be kinda foamy/sticky, like it should feel almost like normal shampoo.
Slather that shit in your hair. Go fast; ideally saturate everything in 5 minutes or less. It isn't too much unless its dripping off your head.
(MOST IMPORTANT STEP) literally watch it in the mirror. It will lighten as you watch it. Sit in your bathroom and stare at your hair the whole time. Do not put a bag on your head.
AS SOON AS YOU GET TO A POINT WHERE YOU'RE HAPPY OR IT'S COMPLETELY GONE, RINSE. NO NEED TO OVERCOOK. This is how you avoid dryness and damage. For me, it will typically sit in my hair for less than 10 minutes. I just took out purple haze by manic panic and I watched a strand of color literally disappear in under 3 minutes. I like to prep my shower/rinsing stuff beforehand so as soon as I'm done, I just jump in the shower.
YOU"RE DONE WEEEE!!!! IF THE COLOR IS NOT EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANTED AFTER THE TREATMENT, GIVE IT A WEEK OR TWO TO FADE, THEN GO IN FOR ANOTHER ROUND. This also gives your hair time to recover, even though this is very low damage, it can still hurt your hair (especially if it was fragile to begin with). For instance, lot of reds will go pink, but in my experience the pink is gone in like a week. It's very uncommon for me to do a color remover and not be able to get back to blonde, even with semi permanent blacks.

What Are The Major Perks Of Buying Coloured Hair Extensions?
If you also like some colour in your hair like me then virtual high-five to you! I get it if some people think getting your hair coloured is too much of a commitment to ask for. Still, trying different colours in hair is a dream for many women but they stop themselves from the fear of hair damage.
What if I tell you that you can try different colours in your hair without worrying about hair damage or long-term commitments? Sounds great, right? Yes, we are talking about coloured hair extensions. Today, we are here to talk about the major benefits of using coloured hair extensions in place of hair colours on your hair. So, let us discuss it further.
Benefits of Coloured Hair Extensions
The first advantage of using coloured hair extensions is their zero commitment. You buy them use them remove them, keep them for a long time with little maintenance and that is it. When you colour your hair then you have to wait until the colour gets fade and that will a long time. Plus, if you want to try something else then you cannot get it done until the previous colour is dark and shiny.
The second advantage of coloured hair extensions is their cost-effective factor over hair colouring. The process of hair colouring, especially when you get it done is very expensive and the extensions are any day cheaper than the whole process. Plus, you do not have to worry about their maintenance much. Your extensions will also be cheaper in terms of maintenance.
When you buy a hair extension then you can get rid of going to the salon to get a touch-up or buying maintenance products. Hair colouring involves a lot of expert involvement if you want to get it done properly. On the other hand, you can wear a hair extension on your own. You will not need an expert until you get a permanent hair extension installed in your hair. That process is still less time-consuming than hair colouring.
One more perk of coloured hair extensions is that zero hair damage. You are not applying a harmful chemical like bleach on your hair or even the chemical of hair colour is not getting applied when you use a hair extension. You can easily wear or remove extensions according to your convenience.
Conclusion
At the end of this blog, we can conclude that coloured hair extensions are a better choice than hair colour. At Hair Joy, you can find a variety of hair extensions such as clip in hair extensions, ponytail clutcher, and much more including coloured hair extensions in many different colours. To know more, please visit the website and learn more.

spent $$ i didn't rly have on kerastase shampoo bc im tired of my hair always breaking like i full bleached it back in 2017 and i kid you not it has not grown any longer since then bc it's so fragile. it's grown lots and lots like i got rid of the bleach yrs ago but it's so damaged bc I kept re-dyeing so much and haven't rly done more than trim my ends since highschool tbh
anyway!!! im trying this expensive shampoo following an olaplex leave-in spray bc that was 20$ to last me not even 2wks and less than 5 uses but I did realize that while (hopefully) this shampoo works its magic i do rly need a hydrating product to help fortify my hair. the conditioner i have is so meh and the leave-in conditioner spray I was using in april-may ran out so I get outta the shower and my hair still feels so dry??? i had to resist trimming the ends again aaaaaaaaa ive trimmed so much over the last 6 mths which sucks bc it's not growing back
so I got! a hair mask! tonight!! all the ones at work were 2.50$ for not a lot but I got one for less than 2$ that was bigger than all the others w a bunch of coconut oil in it? i probably won't wash my hair again tmrw but I wanna soak my hair and portion out some of this conditioner mask to try and see how it does bc it's made for curly hair and idkkkk what it's gonna do to mine (it's not straight more naturally wavy but also not curly by any means y'know??? i have the native american/far east russian(siberian) hair gene of Thick and Unruly and this mask is for coily hair types so we will seeeeeeeeeeeeeee ig augh it should be fine but if not then im fine with it being a waste of not even two bucks
but I think doing deep conditioning masks every so often alongside this shampoo made to strengthen hair will be better overall than doing one over the other right??? like obviously I want my hair not to snap so easily but I would also like for it to not feel dry.
anyway long rant over update tmrw mb
#personal#ish#i work part at a drugstore rn so I kept looking at repair conditioners but idfk what's good n what's not#i need to go to a grocer to get meds from their pharmacy so perhaps there will be a better collection to peruse there#i can't drive and walmart is clear like over an hr away outskirts of town type walk on foot#but also if i'm spending more than 5$ on smth I would like for it to work!!!#my aunt is a stylist n the one that got me the olaplex so perhaps I will bother her#tho when i did the first time her answer was that an oil tmnt would be the only thing aside from#like cutting all the split ends off which would be SOOOOOO short like I think id rather kill myself#every conditioning product i looked at tonight had a different list of miracle ingredients that made my head spin#idk what's good and what's not like if anyone has advice on restoring color-treated damaged hair pls lemme know#I am lost in the void and am very poor rn

Hey, anybody wanna see some cool bones?
TW: real animal bones. They're real. I promise you. Clean, but real. This is your last chance to look away. No? Okay cool. Anyways.
This is the cool ass deer skull I found on a beach a couple years ago.
Coolest thing I've ever owned to date, but I had to get rid of it bc I didn't clean it correctly and the oils inside ✨moldedddd✨
So yeah.
Without further adieu,
✨ bones✨
I pulled out all the teeth cause they're still good(and they were falling out to begin with) but it was literally so fucking cool oh my God. Look at that. Fuckin awesome.
But yeah!! It was sun bleached when I found it, but that wasn't good enough!
In order to ✨ properly✨ preserve bones, you need to soak them bitches in a dawn dish soap bath (to draw out the oils) WITH A LID!!! Leave it for a day. Change the bathwater. And repeat.
IF IT STILL STINKS, IT'S NOT CLEAN ENOUGH.
And trust me. It WILL stink. It will smell awful. Even if your bones are clean. It's the oils. The oils will REEK. Just ask any paleontologist who's uncovered bones that haven't quite fossilized yet. Might wanna wear a mask when you uncover it. You might gag.
To ✨ bleach✨ your bones, you'll need to use hydrogen peroxide. Google it if you want the actual recipe. But basically. Don't use actual bleach. You'll damage the bones IRREVERSIBLY and they will splinter and break. No good.
And as always. Don't pick up bones that still have blood/exposed meat on them. Not only is it unsanitary (gross) but also. Buggies and nice little critters are still munching on em. And also Indigenous peoples sometimes say that they're bad luck(?) at least that's what they've told me. About feathers, too. So ye.
✨BONES✨

Okay so i need some help. I really been thinking of my dying my hair like a money piece with blonde but my grandma and aunt have been telling me im gonna damage my hair, but i know you can always dye/bleach ur hair without messing it up. And i believe you have dyed ur hair, but it seems like you keep up good with it because it doesn’t look damaged or dead. Do you have any suggestions on how to make it look healthy even after dying and bleaching it, i have an oily type of hair.
Anything you do to your hair will damage it at least a little bit, even things like blow-drying it or heat styling it. The darker your hair is right now, the more damage you'll create by bleaching it to blonde. That said, there are some things you can do to reduce the amount of damage that bleaching your hair causes.
I have a long post on all of my tips and tricks for bleaching hair here. The one change I would make to that post is to choose a 10 volume developer for the bleach instead of a 20 or 30 volume. The Schwarzkopf BlondMe Bond Enforcing Premium Lightener with a 7 volume developer is enough to get my hair from a level 4/5 brown to a level 9 blonde, and it has much less damage than when I was using a 30 volume.
After you bleach the hair, you'll want a few different products to maintain the health of the bleached part. Since you're only doing a money piece, you want to make sure to only do treatments on the bleached part and not on the rest of your hair.
For the best results, you'll want:
a bond-building shampoo and conditioner (I use Olaplex, but I know people also really love K18 products)
a deep conditioner to use once or twice a week
a leave in conditioner to use after you shower
a purple shampoo to use once a week to get rid of brassiness
a hair oil for days where the bleached part looks frizzy or damaged
Sleeping on a silk pillowcase and using a microfiber towel for your hair will also help to prevent the hair from getting damaged more after you've bleached it.

Any tips on maintaining bleached hair?
I stopped regularly bleaching my hair at the beginning of this year but I’ll do my best to go over what I do.
I’m super picky about my hair, I try and wash as infrequently as possible, which for me is about 2-3 days. My scalp is greasy/ acne prone so I really can’t go longer without washing or wash without shampoo. I also have slightly wavy, thick hair.
Bleached hair is pretty fragile, there are a few products you can use to repair bonds, but that’s something you do super infrequently. I am allergic to olaplex and have yet to try other products.
Only use shampoo on your roots if you’re using shampoo. I like whole blends charcoal shampoo because it helps a lot with my specific grease + acne issues, but what you’re looking for is something without silicones or parabens.
Condition Liberally!!!! I use another whole blends conditioner for my mid length and my ends - I don’t like the charcoal one as I find it too drying. Again, look for something without silicones or parabens. I also use a leave in after getting out of the shower. I keep changing which one I use, I haven’t found my dream leave in conditioner yet. I think one of the more frustrating things about hair products is how individual it is - the specific products I use work for me but they might not work for you. There’s a lot of trial and error in finding the right products.
If you’re trying to stay blonde, I highly recommend buying a hair gloss to use any time you notice you’re getting too brassy. I like the L’Oréal hair gloss! I had to use their “silver” one to get my hair toned from orange to blonde, but I have a lot of natural red hiding in my hair.
Another big thing is avoiding breakage! Identify things that could be causing damage and change that. I sleep in a satin sleeping cap and have eliminated my use of hair ties. I was honestly surprised how much of a difference getting rid of hair ties did in regards to breakage. Most of the shorter broken pieces on the back of my head/neck area have now grown out. I’m not sure how much the satin lined hat does, but it is nice to get it out of my way when I sleep. It also does nice things to my waves. I also brush my hair only when I’m doing certain styles or right before I wash it.
Another thing I did was use the search & destroy method. This is also something that doesn’t need to be done super frequently. I went through all of my hair, found every single split end, and cut each individual split end right above where the splitting happened. It took a long ass time the first time I did it (I split it up into multiple days), but now it doesn’t take as long with monthly upkeep. Having a sharp pair of scissors for this is crucial. I have a pair of dedicated hair shears that I use for this (and for cutting my bangs!).
That ended up being more detail that I thought it would be lmao
