I would love to know your headcanons on this. Do you think Raphael is horrible in bed because he’s so selfish and self obsorbed, so why would the thought of his partner’s pleasure even cross his mind? He just geniunely does not care about anything but his own release. Or is just truly awful at it? (Him cumming way too fast aside. He probably has a super short refractory period to make up for it. But regardless this is solely about his stroke game). Or does Tav try to teach him and show him what feels good, what she wants in those moments where he’s feeling particularly magnanimous and is willing to indulge her. But despite her lessons he still just fucking can’t get it right? Could he fuck someone until they’re a babbling mess and putty in his hands if he really wanted to, or is he just cursed with having weak stroke game.

When I write, I always over embellish for the sake of entertainment. It's not fun to read something utterly mundane.

But Raphael being totally useless in bed? Nah, I don’t think so. I mean, the guy’s older than most of the furniture in his boudoir. He was around when Karsus decided to play a game of "Whoops, I Broke the Weave," so I’m fairly certain he’s picked up a few tricks along the way. Sure, he's got Haarlep now to handle the, ahem, carnal negotiations, but I’m willing to bet there was a time when Raphael himself was the one closing deals in more... intimate settings. Call it professional multitasking.

But here’s where psychology comes in: at this point in his life (and I use the term “life” loosely), Raphael’s operating on a whole different level. He’s evolved past the need for that kind of effort. We’re talking classic narcissistic tendencies—he’s got the grandiosity, the entitlement, the complete lack of empathy when it comes to anyone else’s needs. In his mind, he is the prize. Archdevil Supreme to be blablablabla, son of Mephistopheles blablabla, Master of the House of Hope blablabla, you get the gist. Why on earth would he go out of his way to please someone else when he could just, you know, not? Especially now, when he’s basically an ancient devil CEO who can get what he wants with a flick of his wrist. Effort is for plebs.

Psychologically, Raphael’s likely running on a pleasure principle, but not in the way most people would think. For him, pleasure isn’t about mutual satisfaction; it’s about self-gratification, maintaining power, and reinforcing his ego. He’s not looking to bond emotionally or physically with anyone else. That would require acknowledging someone else’s needs, which is, frankly, beneath him. He knows what he likes, he’s set in his ways, and frankly, if the other person is dissatisfied? That’s their problem, not his.

This is pure self-preservation in action. Raphael’s whole deal is about control and conserving his own resources for things that truly matter to him. He’s got no interest in wasting his precious energy on something as insignificant as pleasing someone else. Let the other person work for it. In his mind, he’s already done them the favor by simply existing in the same space. He gets what he wants with minimal effort while reinforcing the idea that he’s so valuable, others should be thankful just for the privilege of being near him.

Now, if Tav somehow manages to break through that narcissistic shell and Raphael starts feeling something (which is a whole other debate on whether he can even care about someone that way)? Whether it’s a twisted form of love or obsession, that would be the psychological equivalent of Raphael stepping outside his comfort zone. And if Tav tries to suggest he could, idk, improve? Cue the massive ego bruising. Narcissists hate being told they’re not perfect, it shakes their whole self-image.

So, Raphael would likely respond in one of two ways (in my hc.) Either he doubles down on his usual behavior, dismissing Tav with a “You should be grateful you’re even here” attitude, or he reluctantly listens, but only when it benefits him. You know, when he needs something, and it’s part of his manipulation toolkit. In classic narcissistic fashion, he might even pretend to improve, but don’t expect him to put in the effort consistently. That would imply that someone else’s needs matter, and we all know Raphael’s world revolves around one thing: Raphael.

Suprise endhawks headcanon #7 i think

It became notiable to everyone hawks was suffering from depression. Mostly noticed by rumi and endevour who noted his lack of energy and desprite need to keep going at all times.

As a result a few heros pushed for therapy work to be done to help build seratonine and moral. Jeanist found a new passion in shoe making, but hawks lost intrest quick after making some led shoes, hotwheels desinged wheelies, and endevour inspired sneakers.

Next toshinori, all might, tried to inspire baking. Finding hawks tought him more then the other way around and instead of helping hawks find a passion, all might found a new form of pride after being shown how to make a tart from scratch.

Rumi tried her hand at helping, using exorcise to keep her friends body moving. Which turned into her being shown how to plant herbs and when to harvest bushes good for her body. she couldnt even remeber getting here but now shes found a nurturing side if herself that helped with her iwn growing depression.

Mt lady reveiled she likes to blog and write in her free time. Which wasnt much of a suprise. But hawks gave it a shot. Creating a short story that captivated and left the woman trying to figure out her own reality again. He confessed he writes sometimes but mostly sex stories or poems but that it was to investive he coukdnt make time for it. Or just ened up staring off into space for hours.

Endevour stepped in. Instead if sharing his iwn hobby which he had next to non he asked what hawks felt like doing or trying. So the two got into knitting but hawks got board fast, then tried kimo and making drwam catchers. Again he got board. He got into drawing though became rather fusterated with paportions. Though endevour rather liked the details of drawing backgrounds with no people in them.

They took up pottery but hawks became board and didnt like how his wings got in the way then got dirty. The spinning tabke also made him nervous but he woukd never admit it.

One quiet afternoon he took up painting while endevour worked in his office. It was just a whim but hawks got obsorbed in the strokes of the brush, the layering, the color mixes and painting over mistakes. His first picture was of a large moon reflecting off the night water of a beach. He shrugged it off but endevour quickly became obsessed with the painting. The mixing blues and glowing moon. The slight sand that could be seen at the edge. He could almost hear the waves, coukd feel the cold wind on his skin. He hung it in his office at home almost feeling it was a represintation of his own lonelyness in his empty home.

After that he bought hawks everything hed need for a painting hobby. Despite the teasing hawks rather enjoyed watching his brush against the canvas and often lost himself in it on his days off

Castiel loves!!!!!! He cares!!!!! SO much!!! He rebelled against heaven because it was wrong and he tore up the ending and he literally created free will!!!!

So he takes the power of someone who has abused it for all of time (and I could write so much on how chuck actually was the perfect final villain but thats irrelevant lol) and he obsorbed that power and he used it for good! He broke the cycle of abuse and he changed the future!

AND THEN think of how much it would hit that after Cas becomes God and he helps reorient the world and then he comes home and he gives up that God power and disperses it to the universe once again

And he returns home just as himself because that's all he needs to be, because he doesnt need to be God to be valuable. He doesnt need to be powerful.

Even though he could rule the universe, he wont. It doesn't need to be ruled. It just needs to be loved.

but he also wasn’t the asking and caring type either so this meant he stuck to just observing

sometimes he simply got too obsorbed in his work and forgot about it

so when (Y/N) visited like she always did, he paid no mind and continued on

he did hear when she said “I’ll make some tea, be right back” and left

then again, it wasn’t something out of the ordinary until what usually took 5 minutes turned into a almost 20 minute wait

For the high school AU

I’m torn between having Emily be the goth girl who wears MCR shirts , doc Martins and always has her earphones in or for her to be the popular cheerleader whom everyone and their cousin has a crush on.

Also imagine that Hotch and Emily never really spoke to each other in school (well Hotch never really spoke to anyone in school except for Garcia when she lovingly harassed him) but they ended up becoming friends because they were put into the same group for an assignment. They go to each other’s house after school to do work, but whenever Emily went to Hotch’s house he always tells her to leave right around dinner time (and she make jokes about him being stingy). But one day they were super obsorbed in the project and Hotch forgot to make her go, then BOOM the door flings open and in walks Hotch’s father. Emily has to witness the abuse in action, then afterwards Hotch begs her to not tell anyone....from then on they always hanged out at her house after school. (Also unlike Garcia, Emily’s more implicit, she’d just make up different excuses-“I need a study buddy”-to get Hotch to not go home after school)

I don’t see a reason Emily can’t be the hot af goth girl who everyone has a crush on. 

Also, Dave puts this in-group project together and they’re both shooting him daggers while he just smugly watches on because this is going to be fun for him no matter how it ends. Hell, maybe Emily gets a normal friend and Aaron just get a friend period. Seems like a win-win to him.

Emily softly pulling Hotch aside after the “incident” and asking if that’s something that happens every day. He’s got tears in his eyes when he looks up at her and lies through his teeth. Promising her it’s not like that all the time. (Garcia tells her she doesn’t think that’s true. In all the time she’s known Hotch she’s never seen him without those bruises)

and Garcia being a little jealous that Hotch is spending his time elsewhere but some of the bruises start to fade with Emily hounding him and keeping him away from home so she doesn’t mind

Supergirl Burying & erasing lgbt characters

You may not have noticed it before but supergirl is guilty of erasing a few lgbt characters & guilty of killing off even more

They get away with it because most of them are back ground characters out of 6 confirmed lgbt characters 4 of them were killed. 3 of them were killed in brutal ways only 1 got a rather decent death.

I’m going to break down each character killed & erased

Fake Iris’s dads: they were the first lgbt characters that supergirl killed off. The sg writers & flash writers that is. They died in the big finale shoot out. Their deaths could easily have been skipped since the plot no longer needed any of the musical universe characters

The prison warden: after being introduced as a crooked warden & after Kara dropped that he had a husband he was brutally killed by Otis graves. The plot would have been the exact same if they had simply knocked him out instead of killing him

Female brainy: a big thing about brainy’s episode was us getting female brainy being gay & having been married. She died by the end though being obsorbed into our brainy. This death is harder to avoid but if the writers had thought it out they could have sent each brainy to new worlds

There are also characters like Livewire & Pestilence who were heavily implied to be gay then killed off but since that was never stated as explicitly canon I can’t say whether or not it is a full bury your gays

Now for the erased lgbt characters

This is a shorter list thankfully but only slightly shorter

Brainiac 5: yeah not female brainy we’re talking main universe male brainy who is known to be bi in comics something that the show seems to be completely unwilling to confirm in the two & a half seasons that brainy has been on the show

Maxima: yes queen maxima yah the one that in every old show chased after marrying Superman we’ll back in 2015 or 2014 she had a giant coming out arc in supergirl comics an arc that supergirl quickly ignored so that instead they could include a joke about maxima wanting to mate Clark a joke that could have been just switched to her making the same offer to Kara but quickly being defeated in the fight

Finally we reach Ayla Ranzz: aka lightning lass Ayla was name dropped as Winn’s wife. Ayla is famous for being one of comics very first lgbt characters & one of the very first lgbt heroes shown in a relationship she has had a long running romance with shrinking violet Salu Digby she’s bi but as everyone knows if you don’t say or show a character as lgbt then they aren’t. One of Winn’s many unnescissary scenes could easily have included a joke about his wife having an ex girlfriend but they didn’t even do that

"Thats my granddaughter Buck..."

This is a small series that popped into my head that i wanted to test. This is Steves life after he went back in time and had a family with Peggy. Y\n is the grandaughter the them. And it follows events of endgame fight and her life after.

When i was a little girl, my grandfather used to tell me stories before bed. He told me about his time as captain america. We spent alot of time together since my dad was always gone. My dad met my mom while they both served time in the army.

Since they were always gone my grandpa and grandma pretty much raised me. Well he did since she worked for a secret organization.

She worked for shield and once i graduated high school, i decided to join also. But then the fall of shield happened.

The super serum that my grandpa had seemed to skip a generation as my father didnt have anything super about him.

Growing up i started to notice little things here and there. Whenever i got banged up, i would heal fast. But then as i got to be a teenager and get angry, lightening would strike through the skies.

Overtime i kept my powers to myself, besides my grandparents, and they helpes me try to control it. Took me until almost graduation to get a handle on it.

After graduation my grandma ended up in a nursing home. Then a few years later she passed. Her funeral was held over seas, and grandpa and I flew out there for it.

A year had passed and on my 22nd birthday when my grandpa decided it was time to tell me a new story. But a true one.

He told me about a how a creature named Thanos collected something called the infinity stones and destroyed half the universe with the snap of his fingers.

"I had someone make this suit for you, i need you to put it on and see if it fits." He got up and started to walk with me towards the spare room in our house.

I opened the case that was on the bed and moved the suit between my fingers.

"Its part rubber." I spoke up.

"It will obsorb your lightening. So you dont burn your clothes." He put his hand on my shoulder and gave it a soft squeeze.

"Go on. Try it on. Ill be out in the living room." He turned on his heels and walked out of the room slowly.

He shut the door and i changed.

A few minutes later i was changed and looked at myself in the mirror.

The suit was a dark navy color which had a gold star in the middle of the chest with two bolts of lightning going towards it. It had a hint of him and me on it.

I walked out of the room and into the living room where he was sat. The news chanel was on and the reporter was talking about something that was a space ship? In the middle of new york city. And a picture of Tony Stark saying he was missing.

"Its happening.." My grandpa spoke up.

I went over to him and went to grip his shoulder, but my hand was disappearing. As small particles of dust floated away from my exhisting hand.

I didnt worry about myself. Because i knew it would be reversed like he told me.

I started to worry about how he could take carenof himself being his older age without me around.

He must have saw the worry i had on my face. He stood up and looked at me.

"Dont worry about me sweety. Ill be right here when you get back...i love you." He moved a lose hair behind my ear.

"I love you to grandpa." The last thing i felt was the tears starting to form in my eyes.

I realized I never actually gave a... I guess— description on what Turbine Addition really is. Then also how I got the idea and built Lukian.

(Warning long essay)

Basically, when I was on my third rewatch of the show since august, I was watching episode 3x10: Maveth and I had a interesting thought after May snuck away from everyone to find Andrew. What if, Lash or Andrew actually spares one inhuman In that compound? It’s not completely unheard of/ unrealistic, he did spare Daisy on multiple occasions. But— obviously, I had to give a reason why this inhuman was spared over the others.

It was a idea that floated in my mind for maybe a month, I wanted to create an Inhuman who was spared by Lash and ends up joining the team from there on. I kept thinking of angles on how I could do it but none of them ever seemed right. Until I watched episode 2x17 with my friend— who I had blackmailed into watching the show. (Yes, I did two rewatches at once.)

For those of you who don’t know by heart each episode by it’s number (I had to look it up)— the title is Melinda, and it’s the episode where we finally learn about Bahrain. When I rewatched that episode the idea just teleported into my brain.

Lash spares an Inhuman because one of them is a child.

The more I thought about it, the more it made sense. Obviously during episode 3x10 Andrew still had some control over Lash and wasn’t fully tainted by him yet. So when Andrew/ Lash saw the kid Andrew definitely fought for every ounce of control he had over the situation. He knew how killing a kid— no matter how much the situation demands it— can destroy a person, because he saw it happen to May.

Then I also kept thinking about the inhuman epidemic and then later— Robin, like how she definitely couldn’t only ever be the only inhuman child during the outbreak, right? It was just highly unlikely. We know Terrigenesis at a young age, or any age really can change a person. Not just physically, or on a cellular level, but mentally. We see it with Andrew and also with Katya, and Robin. Which, all in all is really fitting— Andrew was May’s husband, May killed Katya, and Robin was May’s daughter.

But nonetheless that’s not my point, my point is at Afterlife there was a certain age everyone went through the mist. It was an age where they’re young enough to adapt, but old enough to understand. Now, Katya and Robin were both young when going through Terrigenesis and their gifts were something that were more mental than others. It was contained to their body, it wasn’t an external gift like Daisy’s, Lincon’s, Joey’s, James‘, Kora’s. It was like Jiayang‘s, Gordon’s, Raina’s, Yo-Yo’s, Andrew’s— all of their powers are contained to their person.

So if they didn’t have a mental gift like Katya and Robin, and they were at-least mature enough to understand then having a kid go through Terrigenisis could work. And obviously if you’re gonna create a character that has an external gift, you gotta give them an uncontrollable destructive power like Daisy’s. But the fun thing about Daisy’s power, is that it also has endless creative possibilities.

I wanted a power like that.

After some workshopping and a few completely terrible ideas... I got: air molecule manipulation. Or other words, tornado powers. Before I started thinking on how his powers worked I needed an explicit way to think of how Daisy’s powers worked since I was modeling his power after hers. From my two rewatches at the same time I started making notes on what we knew about her powers and how they feel to her specifically.

She can hear the vibrations of everything around her (but it’s not as noticeable at first glance)

Can amplify the ’sound’ of the vibrations to cause an earthquake, or avalanche

Internalizing her powers improperly caused her arms to fracture

Strong beam of concentrated vibrations for a long period of time can cause her to blackout/ nosebleed

The vibrations don’t only just come out of her arms

Lack of care can also lead to her arms to fracture

Now vibrations and electricity, are both element related powers, but they work differently. Lincoln said after he went through the mist every cell in his body generated a different electronic charge. Basically, the power (pun intended) came from his body without needing an external source. Yes, I know I said Lincoln‘s power was an external one, but it isn’t contained to his mind— or person. I feel Daisy’s vibrational powers are different, mostly because, if she could generate vibrations directly from her cells then her bones wouldn’t be breaking from too much of it. Kinda like how Scorch had those fire pellets in his blood to prevent him from burning himself, Daisy doesn’t have vibrational immunity.

Gordon said everything in the universe was giving off it’s own vibrational frequency, and Daisy could control that. So in order for her to quake Talbot’s ass to the sun she need to obsorb the vibrations around her, store them in her first (the bees under her skin), then send the vibrations out through her palms.

I’m not gonna get into why her bones crack and everything, but it’s an important downside.

Obviously.

As I said I wanted to model my character’s powers as closely as I could to Daisy’s, which I did, but I couldn’t do it exactly for obvious reasons. Yes, you store air like oxygen and carbon dioxide (not for long) in your body temporarily— but your body is going to use it because it needs it. Plus you can’t send air molecules through skin tissue like vibrations can— it’s why we have noses. The skin tissue is too dense for the diffusion of the molecules to take place there. So if I had to say, his power is more of a cross of Daisy’s power and Joey’s power. He needs an external source to wield his power and manipulate the element he can control, but can’t store it in his own body.

So I had a powerful power for my character but I needed a downside. Each incredibly OP power had one: Daisy with her bones, Robin could see the past— present— and future but just didn’t know what went where, Raina became the monster under the bed (or Sonic), Jiayang had to kill someone to heal herself. I thought for a while on this, how can I make a downside for a power like that?

Obviously there’s not many options because oxygen is such a fragile thing to living organisms, and lack of it isn’t exactly ideal. Fitz’s brain damage being a prime example, another example being all those people who died due to hypoxia on the floating ship where the Gravitonium was. So as I said— fragile.

I was going over my notes again of Daisy’s power when the hearing aspect struck a cord. Since their powers are so similar in the aspect of they’re both natural disasters, he was going to need a way to create those tornados around him, like with Daisy and the earthquakes— when the power isn’t concentrated but it’s still triggered. I wanted the sound to be like what you hear when you hear wind over the phone, and when it’s blowing past your ears and it creates that sound. That’s where I got the inspiration from really, static noise and whistling.

So I had that down, and instead of it being like Daisy’s, the sound is much, much more apparent. Mostly because you can hear the wind, like when is passes your ears or if the wind current is just strong enough— but you can’t necessarily hear vibrations. You can when you put your finger on the rim of a water glass and go around the edge, but if you don‘t... you don’t really hear much (I think). And also another thing, sound in general.

The reason why there’s no sound in space is because there’s no air molecules in space, there’s nothing for the sound waves to hitch a ride on. Which leads me to my next point. If he can hear the wind and the air molecules around him and sound passes through the air molecules then he could hear sound through his powers without needing ears. You’re basically adding a third— non-connected to the others— ear.

And people get sensory overload just normally, adding that third ear would be too much. So long story short: the down side to air molecule manipulation powers is... headaches. But like a really bad headache, I don’t know if they’re migraines at that point, I know there’s a difference but I haven’t done my research on that yet. But essentially, headaches. And later on there will be a fix for that.

Just keep in mind chapter seven.

Now the one thing I absolutely love about AoS is despite all the crazy, outlandish stuff they go through— there is always science and reason to back it all up, making it seem ever more realistic. And that’s what I love, the realism of it all (Yes, I‘m well aware they do time-travel, and there’s aliens/ superpowers). So if I was going to make a story, then I needed it to be realistic, otherwise I’d probably hate it myself.

And I’d rather not hate my own fic— thank you very much.

So when I thought about Flint, him being fifteen, with inhuman powers and the team was still hesitant to bring him in because he’s a kid— I knew I had a problem. Especially since my character is thirteen. I needed a realistic answer to why and how the team would actually allow a thirteen year old to join SHIELD.

Being inhuman helps, sure. Especially with a power that could rival Daisy’s (tornadoes are bloody strong). But he’s still a kid. It does help that with how tense season three is with inhumans and Hive they’ll need all the backup they can get, even if it’s an inhuman kid who Hive can control. I have very logical reasons why Lukian stays with the team despite everything, but it hasn’t been revealed yet so I’m gonna keep my trap shut.

I’ll give you a hint though, there’s a reason why he can lie so well.

Now onto the character himself, Lukian. Why I made Lukian the way he is? Well the trauma part is very clear, you can’t have a main character without trauma. That’s just simply unheard of.

For gender, I thought about making him a girl at first because that’s what AoS is all about really— Strong women. But... all the lines I had in mind, just made it seem cheesy and with poor writing. So he became a boy. Sorry.

For his name, Lukian, honestly it’s not much of a story. I just really suck at creating names and thought a kid in my class had a really cool name so I copied it for my character. I know it’s Ukrainian, but that doesn’t mean that’s Lukian’s (my character) ethnicity. Especially since Lukian isn’t apparently his name... cough cough (Kelly Clements) Cough. That specifically will be revealed in the next chapter, if I ever finish it. And when I first thought (copied) it, I didn’t realize how close it would be to Lincoln and how much similar those names look if you read them really fast.

So, my bad on that part.

For Lukian’s (Kelly’s) age it goes back to Terrigenisis warping his mind, and the logic and reason. No matter how kick-ass a seven year old may be, he’s still a seven year old and everyone but May won’t see past that. Plus, school.

For his personality it goes back to that trauma section. Trauma and experiences make us who we are, so obviously that will play a bit part in who Lukian is. And for all the trauma you pick up you will need a coping mechanism to hand all of it. Whether it’s break down right there, bottle it up, run away, hide from it, ignore it— whatever it is, we all have one. And for Lukian his coping mechanism is just pretending that he doesn’t care, that he’s fine— that there’s nothing wrong. It’s not that he’s completely like Simmons who created a horror movie in her locked up tight music box, though in a way it’s simular. A big part is bottling things up, putting on a mask— but another part of it is just simply not caring.

Personally that’s my coping mechanism, it’s terrible and when I become a real adult I’m bloody fucked, but it’s what I do. I have a big test coming up, what do I do? I don’t study and don’t let it stress me out. I just don’t care about it and don’t think about it until when I’m actually taking the test. I still get decent grades too so it’s not a completely bullshit mechanism, but boy, my future is going to die fast. Mostly because I’m in high school and I don’t really know how to study now because of this.

Anyway, back to the story, that’s essentially his coping mechanism. Along with a hint of deflection with humor too. Again, like Daisy. As I go more into the story you’ll find there are many Lukian and Daisy parallels. It’s probably why Daisy has taken such a liking to Lukian in the first place, and why they get along so well despite barely knowing each other for three weeks. Or it’s because I wrote them that way, who knows?

The reason why I had Lukian have an interest in robotics and in engineering goes back to the downside with his powers. As you may know, the kid may have stolen a few things from the lab to help with that headache of his. Plus if he’s good in science and has a usefulness besides fighting, then it’s another reason for him to join. Obviously the team isn’t gonna just let him ditch school, so him actually being smart helps if school isn’t well... at a school.

Now, why did I name this fic the way I did?

The Addition part is very simple and easy, Lukian is an addition to the team. I wanted that to always be in the title, but what I wanted before that was something that related to Lukian. Whether it’s his powers, or personality, it didn’t really matter but nothing really called out to me or fit properly. And again as I said I’m terrible at naming things, currently on chapter ten I’m more than half way done, I still don’t have a bloody name for it. So like my coping mechanism, I forgot about it for a bit.

So I went on to what the team’s connections will be with Lukian, thinking about who each member of the team is to Lukian and how close he is to everyone. Obviously May’s relationship with him will be most strained, not because of May herself and her trauma, but because of his too (I’m not saying anymore). And the closest relationship he’ll have will be with Daisy, because again paralells. And, because she was the one to find him and she is also his transitioner and trainer.

And while I was thinking about all of that, no matter where Mack was on the closest relationship list, there was no way Lukian was getting on the team without a nickname from the nickname king. And since if you’re inhuman basically it’s a rule your nickname will be based off of that I started sorting through air related nicknames. Breezy was my top choice originally but Breezy Addition just didn’t sound as strong as Turbine Addition. But don’t worry Breezy as a nickname from Mack isn’t going to disappear, it’s just going to take a while to get to from a writing standpoint.

And.... this is when I’ve realized I’ve been writing this for the past three hours and now it’s bloody three am. Thanks for coming to my extra long Ted Talk/ fifty paged essay.

Jaune: Two airships.

Jaune: Strength: Platoon. Won't be a problem unless they have huntresses.

Weiss: Atlas. Specialists.

Jaune: Atlas specialists always think they are so special. Red?, advance-left. Black?, retire. Target the engines. Yellow. White. Area of effect and then advance.

Yang: And you?

Jaune: Charging like an idiot. Goal: Passed the two advance airships. Wait for them to make the first move, but don't wait too long...

Two airships appeared in front of them to the side with one behind them. Soldiers bearing rifles started to file out of the airships without landing.

Jaune: Go!

Ruby: *turns into flower petals spiraling to the fore-left airship*

Blake: *turns black with her true self being catapulted by Weiss' glyph*

Weiss: *creates a wave of fire and then ice at the fore-right airship*

Yang: *fires barrages, cycling between those embarking from each airship*

Jaune: *charges forward, shield up, obsorbing most of the fire from those already disembarked from the forward two airships*

Ruby: *cleaves off one of the engines in a single, swift motion*

Fore-Left Airship: *quickly spirals into the ground.

Blake: *wraps herself around the rear airship, puncturing it's engine*

Rear Airship: *slowly spirals around*

Ruby: *takes out the engine of the fore-right airship*

Fore-Right Airship: *quickly spirals down*

Jaune: *in the fray, taking out soldiers one by one*

Weiss and Yang: *charging forward to join him*

Blake: *wraps Gambol Shroud around the legs of the rearward soldiers before disappearing and rushing forward*

Jaune: *ahead of the two downed airships, holding up his shield to block the girls*

RBY: *firing to the rearward section*

Weiss: New target.

Jaune: *looks over his right shoulder*

Jaune: And there's the specialists. Let's hope it's not your sister.

Weiss: What makes you think it's?..

Weiss: *sighs*

Weiss: It is her.

Qrow: *lands on the new airship's engine with his scythe, causing it to spiral down*

Winter: What the hell are you trying to do?

Qrow: I'm not the one trying to kidnap my nieces.

Winter: I'm after my sister.

Qrow: Really didn't think this through, did you? You know, I might disagree with pretty much everything you and Ironwood do, but this is a seriously new low.

Winter: I'm just trying to return my sister.

Qrow: Who was emancipated after your asshole father disowned her. Know how I know?, because my nieces were neck deep in the whole thing. Yeah, might want to jump before we crash.

Qrow: *turns into a crow*

Winter: *bails out of the airship*

Jaune: *charging forward and slams her with his shield*

Winter: *opens her eyes, groaning with pain*

Weiss: He healed you enough to save your life. For the rest, I would choose your answers carefully?

Winter: Qrow?

Jaune: No, he's not the one you have to talk to, I am. So, give me a damn good reason to not send you to see the dark god, right now?

Winter (weakly): Father wanted...

Jaune: Wrong answer.

Jaune: *stomps on her*

Jaune: My armour is designed to stop Grimm. It weighs as much as you think it would.

Winter (weakly): Sister?..

Jaune: Yeah, no, eyes up here. You either commited a capital crime or an act of war, which is it?

Winter (weakly): I was simply...

Jaune: *stomps on her*

Jaune: In the shape your in right now, I doubt you'll be able to survive too many of these.

Winter: *wheezes trying to say something*

Jaune: No pleas for compassion. No excuses. No, I was just following orders. You committed a capital crime or an act of war. And then you lost. I don't even have to kill you myself, I can just leave you for the Grimm. So, tell me, and be really clear, why should I save you?

Winter: *wheezes trying to breathe*

Winter: I... surr... ender...

Jaune: *places his hands on her, channeling his aura*

Winter: *opens her eyes, finding herself bound*

Jaune: Now, we want you to tell us everything?

Winter: My men?

Jaune: We didn't do enough to kill them. You were the one dumb enough to jump from on high.

Qrow: I can probably take credit for that one.

Weiss: I will admit, Qrow is a lot more reliable than I first thought.

Qrow: Thank you. Good to see at least someone from Atlas can have an open mind.

Jaune: Let's keep this simple. Jacques Schnee ordered the kidnapping of an emancipated minor, correct?

Winter: What makes you think I'll say everything.

Jaune: One, you already have, and two that might somehow excuse yourself from your crimes.

Winter: . . .

Jaune: You really didn't think this one through, did you?

Winter: And how is Weiss doing?

Weiss: Annoyed at having father try to kidnap him, and wishing I had Jaune's determination right now.

Winter: You'd want me tied up?

Weiss: Despite being my sister, you tried to kidnap, return me to my monster of a father who would basically sell me off to slavery. Yes, yes, it would be an arranged marriage, a carefully selected marriage that would keep me from having any voice, having any say, and keep me from fleeing. You are looking at the man whom - I - fled - to. Considering you joined the Atlas military as soon as Ironwood could seduce you...

Winter: I did no such thing.

Weiss: *rolls her eyes*

Weiss: I figured you might understand my not wanting to be around my family.

Winter: Your family needs you...

Weiss: Disowned.

Qrow: And emancipated.

Winter: We still?..

Jaune: And you send a platoon to kidnap her?!

Winter: . . .

Jaune: I want your confession. Without it, we're just going to be vulnerable to further attacks.

Winter: And if I don't say anything?

Jaune: *irate growl*

Jaune: You, yourself, committed a capital crime, and there won't be much I could do to help you.

Winter: Let... me... go?..

Jaune: If we let you go, you will just keep attacking.

Winter: I won't...

Jaune: *scoffs*

Jaune: That's the problem with specialists. You are officers. Officers have to constantly prove their value. You've been dishonoured. Your only hope for promotion is to prove yourself again. Do you think I studied Atlas Military Rules for the fun of it? No, because we've been worried about THIS EXACT THING! The others don't want to be the one who has to do this, which just leaves little old me. I've got four women who mean the world to me, and I would sacrifice pretty much everything to protect them, even my non-existent selfworth.

Winter: Prepare your scroll.

Winter: *breathes in deeply*

Winter: Our father, Jacques Schnee, sent me, Winter Schnee, to retrieve my errant younger sister, Weiss Schnee. I now realize that this order was completely illegal, as Weiss Schnee is an emancipated minor. I will accept punishment for my crimes, but throw myself on the mercy of the courts.

Jaune: Perfect. Now, if I don't send this to the Vale Government and to Atlas, what are the chances we won't be attacked in the future.

Winter: Acting like this is the first time our Father has been blackmailed.

Jaune: Because I don't see any way we can keep you out of prison.

Qrow: Unless she refused to follow an illegal order.

Weiss: The upper crust in Atlas would definitely not like it, and would fight tooth and nail to keep her from getting promoted.

Jaune: Legally, it is sound. Winter, would you be able to admit to this?

Winter: Lying is not my strong suit.

Jaune: Do you want to die for the crimes of your superiors?

Winter: *breathes deep*

Winter: I won't do it for myself, but I will for Weiss.

Weiss: *rushes in to hug her sister*

Weiss: *let's go*

Weiss: mm, yes, sorry sister.

Winter: I suppose we can hug once in a while...

Jaune: *falls face first into the ground*

Blake: He really did not want to have to do that. For some reason, he's always liked you, Winter.

Winter: He what?

Yang: Probably because you remind him of his Snow Angel.

Weiss: *kneels down and pets his hair*

Weiss: *places his head in her lap*

Qrow: Just when I think I can have respect for Atlas, this happens.

Weiss: And you just happened to be passing by?

Qrow: Jacques Schnee is not someone who likes to hear the word No.

Weiss: No, he is not.
