#i need to clean the litter boxes

Finally watching the episode. Not sure how much I'll liveblog because I'm also cleaning my house since my (absolutely wonderful and I'm so grateful he was able to do this for me) 17 year old nephew was housesitting for me all week while I was gone.

My cat does not care if I stay in bed all day, he doesn't care if I haven't showered in a few days and smell bad, he doesn't get mad when I have to stay home from work, all he cares about is love and being fed.

The worst part of having cats is when you wake up to "mEW MAOW mreWWW" and find yourself staring in horror at your carpet, asking "why is there poop"

my cousin rescued a stray cat and then left her in my grandpa’s garage because his apartment doesn’t allow pets? hello?

Mom called me a shitty roommate today bc after months of her telling me to rent a uhaul (too young to do so) and then flaking out on me whenever I asked her if we could it on x day, I gave up on trying to get my bf's heavy TV and dresser and ordered a mountable tv, instead of buying more storage totes so that I could add to the ever increasing stack of totes in our guest bedroom

8 pm beddy bye bc im so tired I'm nauseous got NO chores done today could just barely feed the cats. It's honestly rough in here. Running out of plates. I only have my giant plates left. Need to clean the litter boxes. But if I smell even 1 more stink I will hurl so I am in bed to rest up so that maybe tomorrow I will be less tired. We will hope!!!

Yknow sometimes you can’t fix your whole life but you can open the windows and light a candle or incense and vacuum. Getting the stale air out of the room and the dirt off the floor is like as close as we can get to popping our brains out and giving them a good wash

also i had to deal with my very first fractious cat today. insane that ive worked at a vet clinic/boarding facility for 8 months now and this is the first time ive dealt with a cat that was so anxious i couldnt even get near the cage without him trying to throw hands with me. hes in a split kennel so i put a metal divider in to clean the side he wasnt in, then i had to use a broomstick to push his litter box (that he was hiding in) to the clean side so i could clean the other side. i also had to have another girl help because i needed to get his litter box away from him but when i would move it back to the dirty side, he would go back as well before i could put the divider back in. keep in mind the entire time he was smacking the shit out of the broomstick and SCREAMING at me. was fun

Am currently giving the cats a wash
