PLUS he just dropped his own website and app with his driver number ,, so like ??? he knows something we don't like he has to have a contract lined up or something . and there's no way it could be an indycar contract because he'd have to re-do the website/app because he used his driver number for it . and the number 2 is already being used in indycar . so i feel like this means he got a contract with an f1 team . granted if he did go to indy i would not be opposed !!! i'd learn everything about indycar just for him so i can keep up w his career .

BUT MAN I'M FREAKING OUT Y'ALL. i really hope this means good things are in store for him and his future , i can't wait to hear what he's got planned 🥹

I just remembered that up until 5th grade, all of the sports teams I was in weren't separated by gender. I played basketball and baseball with boys. And we did just fine.

It wasn't until 6th grade when they segregated it by gender. It didn't make sense to me. I was now in softball instead of baseball, because "softball is for girls" and "baseball is for boys" (which confused me bc my dad was on an adult softball team).

Now, my brother's all-male team didn't win a single game. My all-girls team won every single one.

They presented the boys' team with this HUGE trophy, and if you wanted replicas of it, they were $30 each.

My team was presented with a very small trophy. Extras were $5.

That's when I decided gender-segregated sports were bullshit.

I love how angst obsessed the fandom is but I will say I think it's very funny bc everyone is like ohhh GGG+Impulse is gonna be so angsty, that cannot end well and I'm here like well, see, I think they might disappoint you bc Cleo and Scott are the most loyal ppl on the server, they never betray their day one alliance and Pearl is usually the same as well and also.... I think while the fandom is obsessed with angst, the creators might just be excited to properly team up again

So what I'm saying is, I am so excited to read super angsty fanfics while watching this group be absolute besties in the actual series lmao

I had a post go viral about this but yeah I’m STILL not done talking about it.

Catching Fire is such a good book because you can really see all the pieces of the plan and how they were put together. How the arena was so clearly meant to strengthen Finnick in their attempt at rebellion and Plutarch pulled that off because he knew Finnick was Snow’s pick for a victor of that games. I absolutely love how subtly genius Plutarch really is, like he pulled off the entire rebellion through his manipulation of Snow and Snow’s need for power. I love the concept of the clock, how he gave the hint to Katniss, and how things like the lightning tree were placed purposely so they could be used in their plan. I mean truly the more I think about this book the more astonished I am at how beautiful the setup is. Plutarch’s plan was so flawless. Planting the idea of hand picking the tributes from previous victors so the quell to Snow was a way to rid himself of his strongest opposition (keeping Finnick, his most valuable asset amongst these victors); but to Plutarch he was assembling his perfect rebel alliance. Catching Fire is just an amazing work that I will think about forever.

jack remarking that he's "missed this" while running from danger with the doctor is so crazy like his life since the doctor left him has been nothing but constant danger as the head of torchwood except back there he's thrust into the role of leader as the person who's objectively the most experienced but he's just some guy!! he doesn't know anything he's constantly fucking up and put in impossible situations and ruining things and we even see how easily the team organises in his absence. like clearly he did not miss danger he just missed having someone who can tell him which way to run from it....

listen I know it’s kind of corny and inaccurate to act like every single person in the dc universe knows each other and is besties but it IS endlessly funny to me to follow the web of connections and see how many degrees removed from each other everyone is.

like look at the arrowfam okay. ollie and dinah are together, ollie is homoerotic best friends with hal, dinah is homoerotic best friends with babs. roy is dating dick, has a kid with jade, and is basically an adoptive father to both grant emerson and rose wilson. connor is dating kyle and is constantly followed around by eddie fyers. mia is friends with a lot of the second gen teen titans kids, had an on-again-off-again thing going on with steph for a while, and is currently dating sienna. emiko is besties with courtney and some of the other recent teen titans. sin has a small army of protective aunts from the birds of prey. the real question is how far does it go before ollie puts a cap on the number of people who are invited to family brunch on sundays
