for your bsd warriors au. have you had any thoughts on the subject of names? because the naming conventions are so specific, i'd love to see what your thoughts on it were

I haven’t thought of any names for the characters yet but if there is one thing i am not going to be doing is limiting myself! I’d like to imagine that because cats of different backgrounds joining the ADA and Port Mafia clans they don’t really stick to a certain theme, whatever the cat feels fits the most is what their name should be. Names in warrior cats are supposed to be unique to the cat I feel, they should be happy with their name and show it off with pride. So, if they want to why make them stick to a certain set of names according to their eyes.

With that aside I will be giving them a prefix and suffix but also may add a small little system where cats they deem important to them can call them only by their prefix because prefixes are unique to them! I will not have any repeating names.

Now if the turned-into-a-four-year-old could tell him where he managed to grab this other child when he was supposed to be at the babysitter’s, that would be swell. 

Or why there is a hero who nearly broke the door down in a right panic. 

Like genuinely, he doesn’t know who was more surprised, him, or the hero who came running up half in a panic attack.

i have a theory about shinji, gin, and aizen, but i'm not really sure how to word it.

we never really see shinji and gin interact all that much, which makes sense bc both of them have significantly more important relationships with aizen, but at the same time it's a little odd how much there isn't.

like. gin cut hiyori in half. shinji is understandably pissed about that, but he aims that anger at aizen - and this seems to be one of the very few things in the bleach world that honestly isn't on him bc he never told gin to do that, he never even implied it. hiyori was never a threat to him. hell, we don't even know if she was charging in the right direction; if anything, attacking her implies that she was which is a really stupid thing to do when you're surrounded by a bunch of people who super want you dead and would kill you if they could be sure you weren't tricking them into stabbing each other (ofc it could also be a fakeout but still)

but i don't remember shinji's beef ever really being with gin, even tho he didn't seem to anticipate that gin was working with aizen the whole time during tbtp. so like does he feel responsibility there? cuz gin went straight from academy to 3rd seat and shinji could plausibly feel like that sent him right to aizen bc he doesn't know that gin was always aiming for that. did he blame himself? does he feel like he should've seen it coming? does he still see him as some weird genius kid? does he just view gin as an extension of aizen, which is both dehumanizing to an extent but also entirely fair bc gin did that to himself?

the thing is, since we never really see them interact much, it's kind of only interesting on shinji's side of things, bc gin doesn't really care about much outside of whatever the fuck he thought he was doing and the version of rangiku that he has in his head who needs back something that the real one doesn't ever seem to have realized she lost to begin with. gin's so disconnected with basically everybody that most of the time you can usually assume his thoughts are just "lol. lmao" and there's no reason to think that doesn't extend to shinji as well (gin has deep thoughts on: aizen, ichigo, and matsumoto (massive asterisk on that one ofc) and i think everyone else is kinda set dressing to him lmao the guy is Fucked Up)

anyway i think it's interesting to toy around with that relationship as it was in reality as well as how it might've been perceived, but also in the sense of both of them being sort of opposite ends of the manchild spectrum - shinji leans into his childish side but still has a fairly adult worldview, and gin is able to pull off maturity to an extent but was never able to escape a deeply childish mindset

10-year age-gap akeshu AU in which, after an especially bad night, 16-year-old akira’s family situation has degraded so irreparably that he finally runs away to tokyo, like he’s always planned to. still in bad shape from his escape, he gets reluctantly picked up by a woman not that much older than him and recuperates at her apartment, where he meets her very hostile, very overprotective son.

it takes a while for 6-year-old goro to realize that akira isn’t one of his mother’s usual “clients”. despite akira’s flight-or-fight instinct button-mashing RUN out of fear of stagnating in one location for too long, in typical joker fashion, he stays with the akechi family to help them through hard times—praising and pampering goro when his mother is too tired to acknowledge him, and pulling mamakechi back to reality when she teeters between picking her poison: a rope hung from the rickety ceiling fan, a long, cold bath, a step off the balcony… he’d barged into their life a year before things would have broken permanently, and patiently patched up the cracks that would have deepened into permanent fissures. 

goro in particular takes a liking to the new addition in their household. akira is the only other person he has met who treats him so nicely and gently and attentively—even more so than his own mother. he always seems genuinely happy to see goro come home from school, and frequently offers to take goro out on “adventures” to tour museums, visit aquariums, pet the alley cats, and so on. with him around, goro doesn’t have to wait at the bathhouse anymore. he grows to revere akira as the darling guardian angel his mother had brought home just for him. 

in the end, having satisfied the selfless side of his nature, the selfish side has akira running away once again. he thinks his role has been fulfilled, and that he shouldn’t keep disrupting a family that isn’t his. he couldn’t have been more wrong.

and so, goro grows up with a doting mother and an awful, gaping hole where half of his heart should be. that is, until he meets a familiar stranger in Mementos—then again, in an innocuous coffee shop halfway across tokyo.

it was about time i typed out my thoughts on grateful cypher lol. i’m still processing it actually!!!! but i actually think this play is not for me lmao!!!! it was a genuinely fantastic play don’t get me wrong, like i was actually taken aback by how the play went down, depicted some of my fav relationship beats at their finest and had lots of banger moments, but the moment it became very tdd centric, i knew this was not the play for the type of fan i am lol

but whatever!!!! i’m used to feeling like sasara and kuukou are side pieces so here’s what i really enjoyed about grateful cypher!!!!!

legends era stage’s funniest song was that rosasa on live tv for how the actors took to that bit and were playing around with everyone lol like they were peak adlibs but i genuinely think ‘Sight-Seeing and Gambling and Partying and Adult’s Only Streets’ is now Thee funniest song hypstage has ever put out LOL

like the title alone was sending me but then the actual song made me laugh so hard, there were literally tears in my eyes and i had to go back to make sure i didn’t miss anything bc i was laughing so hard LOL

like that song literally put the power of music on display, when jyushi and hitoya got separated in tokyo and had their own little adventure bumping into the other divisions trying to find each other, the beat was literally

it wasn’t something i particularly liked in canon, but the stage really highlighted how in the early days of the tdd manga, mcd and nb mirrored tf out of each other, as in, they physically showed their bond in the same way and it was stupid tbh but it was kinda cool to see in that throwback kinda sense lol

i got ahead of myself tho lol, that tdd confrontation scene after sasara, kuukou and jyushi got taken out was pretty neat actually lol. i am someone who agrees everyone made up a liiiiiiittle too quickly, and i always liked the stage exaggerated conflict so this was nice see lol

like stage ramuda has one hell of a stage presence, he carried that entire scene, from that nonchalance that made rosho accuse him of hurting🎋📿🌙, to his eventual descent into feeling betrayed but accepting bc it was his own actions that caused so much distrust in him

the hama fans were (rightfully) upset there wasn’t a single scene between mtc, and it’s very likely bc if samatoki had been with a single member of his team, much less the both of them, he would not have gotten taken out by west end mafia lmao

and more on hachiouji division!!!!!! ain’t they neat lol????? they’re so interesting, they all want to be praised and validated, like tokuma (kinda), yoshitsune, ranmaru and shion all turned to mahiru for that validation and west end mafia’s ultimate goal was mahiru’s way to gain that validation ITS SICK

and i really liked the way you could kinda tell mahiru and tokuma were like a boss and his right hand man 🥺🥺🥺

west end mafia still reminds me of the pet shop boy’s ‘west end girls’ and i still doubt that song was the inspiration behind their name but it’s a song marred in violence as they build a lasting foundation so it kinda sorta fits hachiouji lol

Self indulgent reverse TKK thoughts where Daniel is in Cobra Kai and Johnny is in Miyagi-Do.

Johnny came from a different part of Cali and is trying to blend in (which is easy for him)—not expecting five boys to come around and push him for talking to a girl he just met.

He did some wrestling before, but karate? Nope.

Maybe he was a little rude, but getting pummeled by a guy way smaller than you in front of everyone is embarrassing and undeserved in his eyes. The boy was cute. Way too baby-faced and fluffy to be so damn merciless.

To his surprise, one of the boy's buddies helped him up—the one with bleached hair he thought was just having a moment of kindness until he used that same grip to tug him close and promise darkly that he'd be seeing them again—with or without Danny. Then tells him with a shrug and deceptively casual tone that Daniel is the nicest out of all of them, so keep that in mind, man. He meant the warning. Johnny sees them at school and at random. And it's when they're without Daniel that they're far more salacious to him. Even the one with longer hair, who seemed a little concerned for him before.

But Johnny wants to see more of Daniel, yet he doesn't at all. Daniel seems kind to others around school when he’s not…irritated about something. Flip that switch and he’s making you bleed.

The aggression is attractive and Johnny can’t help but like when it’s directed at him—just a bit. Underneath the pain of a bruise.

His Sensei is even more intimadating. Has the eyes of a predator that make Johnny freeze when he gives him a once over with a smile. Looks him in the eye the whole time as he tells Miyagi to make Johnny enter the tournament.

Daniel is struggling with his morals. He and Kreese are always butting heads, and some days he truly can't stand the man—but Cobra Kai helped him get stronger. Less movable. How could he just leave something that's done so much for him? He owes at least one more win to Kreese.

He's pissed, alright. Pissed about the wreck his relationship with Ali became and pissed that he can't get that stupid blond guy with pretty lips out of his head when he keeps showing up. Pissed about his so-called friends doing things without him.

Definitely not terrified of change.

He wonders what Johnny's lessons with Miyagi look like—probably dreamily calmer.

Someone mind controls Superman again? Time to call Diana! Need information about some sort of artifact? Diana is there! Want weirdly specific information that no one should know or to get into a place they can’t? Time to call in Bruce! Need a distraction? Boy does Bruce have you covered! Need diplomacy because this alien AI is pissed? Diana pulls on her training as a princess, warrior or not. Need to seem harmless- why, there’s a sunshine alien sweetheart with the same vibes as an overgrown puppy ready to help! 

Honestly it’s a surprise no one has realized they know each other yet, but then again Bruce really embodies being a cryptid and just doesn’t sit still for any potential photos. Sure there are some with Wonder Woman and Superman visible with him hidden in the shadows, but no one outside of Gotham really knows about him. Like I am imagining their friendship being both “two extroverts adopt this introvert” and “we’re coaxing this stray cat with its dozen of kittens over no matter what”

Tagged by @scribbledquillz; thank you for the tag! I believe Wednesday might be over for most of the folks I usually tap for these, so I will bow out of this one---but if you haven't been tagged yet and you'd like to be I am tagging you (yes you!) right now.

I'm about a stone's throw from finishing this one, if I can just get the right angle, so:

Here is the first time Hawke heals Fenris using her own magic.

Fast talking and smooth words would not have persuaded him. He’d seen her do plenty of both these past two months and there was no doubt in his mind that if she’d thought it would be effective she would have turned the same tactic on him. But this—this implacable wall of logic? He could see no way to deflect or disdain it. 

It didn’t help that she was…right. He could not go on like this. There would be no limping down the coast to his manor and licking his wounds in peace. He wouldn’t make it halfway before he collapsed, and that was a generous estimate. 

But he—didn’t know how he would be able to tolerate her company after he felt her magic reach its greedy hands into his very flesh. 

Fenris swallowed bile and nodded, only the smallest inclination of his head. Hawke did not move. 

“I need you to tell me,” she said. “Where and how much. Alright?” 

“Don’t you know?” he snapped back. “Are you not the healer?” 

“Oh, goodness,” she said, eyes widening. “Am I? I’d no idea.”

Fenris felt his eyes narrow at her, but she went on looking at him with her wide eyes. 

“Why?” he said instead of the many other things that came to mind. Was this some sort of gambit to humiliate him or—

“Because you don’t want me to,” she said, her wrist still held in place by his hand, “and I would only heal someone who said no if their life was in danger. But you won’t let me fetch Anders and if I wait your life will be in danger. So: tell me where and how much I may heal you. I won’t do an inch more, upon my word.” 

Fenris stared at her, his racing pulse accompanied by the discordant jangle of pain in his ears. 

“On your word?” he asked, the words coming out sharper than he’d intended. She hadn’t tried to pull her hand from his grip, and though he was not holding her tightly that seemed to mean—something. He wasn’t certain what. 

“Yes,” she said. “So?” 

Fenris uncurled his fingers at last, noting the bloody handprint he left behind, and set his hand in the dust of the road instead. Carefully, he pulled his other hand away from the wound, baring it to her. 

“The bone,” he said, “and the—the worst of the cut. Only here.  No more than that. Leave the rest.”
