Blade in Yandere Fanfics

Content Warning: Talk about Yanderes, so mentions of violence against reader and kidnapping

The fanfics I read of Blade are few and far between for a few reasons. The biggest one being a lot of the story I read is yandere themed and man why do they always make Blade out to be such a violent guy, like yes he is, but I feel like there's more to explore?? Violent yandere Blade will always have a place in the world but where is the desperate Blade who has genuinely no idea of why he likes his partner so much but knows he needs to do anything to get them to stay with him.

Desperate Yandere Blade who at first threatens you to stay with him but can't handle the way you recoil in fear. He has no idea why one reaction from you has him in shambles but he doesn't want that to happen again. Like he is beyond terrified of you leaving him for any reason. Sure, he could break your legs but what if you end up hating him so much you find a way to die or end up becoming a shell of your former self.

You relieve his mara because whenever he's with you, you're all he can think about. You have no ties to his past. And when he's with you he forgets all about what happened on the Xianzhou. You wouldn't leave him in pain alone, would you? You're not that cruel. He probably wouldn't guilt trip you, instead that comes from Kafka. After all you just made her job a lot easier, and it's in the script you should stay with Blade, if you want the best ending for all of the universe.

Yandere Blade is fucking desperate. Sometimes his emotions get the best of him, he may squeeze onto you a bit too tight and cause bruises but after seeing them that panic stricken fear returns to him and he feels afraid to even touch you. He doesn't want to scare you, he's just a scary guy.

It'd be like having a big dog, except this big dog is a wanted Stellaron Hunter and a lot more deadly. He would tank hits for you if your life was ever in danger. He'll live no matter what, you on the other hand? You're fragile. Would overstress about you getting hurt and watch you just to make sure you don't, an added benefit is whenever he sees you he feels more calm.

But if you end up trying to be with someone else? Yeah, good luck. When you first mention someone else he acts indifferent, maybe he'll watch you a bit more, make sure this person is really safe. But the moment it continues he'll be trying to bargain to get you back to spending all of your time with him, if needed he'd probably beg albeit flustered, and if none of that works he'll just hug you and won't let go.

No, this isn't kidnapping he's just keeping you still. That is until Kafka comes, and she's nice enough to make sure nothing gets in the way of your and Blade's relationship!

And why is he doing all of this?

Because he loves you, of course.

One underdiscussed aspect of the bone-deep lack of mutual understanding during the nieyao stairs scene is that Nie Mingjue doesn't know - and can't know - what he's actually asking of Jin Guangyao. Not because he doesn't understand how his father treats him, or how tenuous his position is. But because he has no clue Xue Yang is a demonic cultivator.

Remember: Nie Mingjue is still alive, which means the position of chief cultivator doesn't exist yet and Jin Guangshan is facing heavy pushback for suggesting it. Most of that is coming from a fear that the Jin will try to become the next Wen. So having an outer disciple murder an entire clan and then not even punish him properly? This is a collosally bad move politically! You might as well be waving a red flag around yelling "I want to kill other sects with impunity!" There's a reason that years in the future, the moment Jin Guangyao becomes acting sect leader, he will immediately order Xue Yang's death (He doesn't actually die, either by accident or on purpose on jgy's part. But the point is that as far as the public is concerned he had Xue Yang executed.)

From Nie Mingjue's perspective, Jin Guangshan just shot himself in the foot politically for some random outer disciple. It's morally wrong, but it's also incredibly fucking stupid. In his eyes, he is asking Jin Guangyao to do the glaringly obvious right thing, even when exclusively looking at the Jins' self-interest. The thing that surely everyone else in the Jin also wants Jin Guangshan to do! Jin Guangyao can say that he has no influence on his father all he wants, but it is obvious how much work he does and so, as much as his father may not respect him, he clearly at least trusts Jin Guangyao's competence. Nie Mingjue has already tried shouting directly at Jin Guangshan during the trial and it seemed to work, but then Jin Guangshan went back on his decision like a complete idiot. So now Nie Mingjue is asking the guy who is famous for being good at rhetoric and convincing people to convince his donkey of a father to do the obviously correct thing with minimal downsides because again, to Nie Mingjue, this is all about some random outer disciple. It makes sense to ask this! It's a pretty reasonable request! Jin Guangshan can't possibly care that much.

Except of course he does. Because Xue Yang isn't some random outer disciple. He's the only good shot Jin Guangshan has at recreating the yin tiger tally. And Jin Guangshan reaaaaaally wants the yin tiger tally. So bad that he is fully willing to tank an ungodly amount of political goodwill to get it. Jin Guangyao is fully aware that not only will Jin Guangshan never kill Xue Yang, he isn't planning on keeping him locked up either. In fact, after Nie Mingjue is dead, he'll free Xue Yang and strongarm Chang Ping into denying the guilt of his family's murderer. Jin Guangshan cares a lot about keeping Xue Yang in his employ.

And Jin Guangyao knows this. But he can't tell Nie Mingjue that! Because then he'd have to admit they've been doing demonic cultivation. That the fucking ghost geneal is in their basement. That, oopsie, they actually also killed a whole other entire clan just a while ago after framing their sect leader for an assasination attempt and then used their bodies as fodder to make more fierce corpses. You know, in case one mass murder wasn't enough!

So obviously he's not gonna say that. Which means Nie Mingjue has no idea what he's demanding from Jin Guangyao, and therefore no idea why he absolutely can't fullfill that request.

I get why it's not mentioned very often because there are a lot of other problems which are both more obvious and more fun to talk about. (Who doesn't love a little overcomplicated trolley problem?) But I think it adds just another layer to the chasm between them in this scene. They're not just disagreeing, they're having completely different conversations.

Lego Monkie Kid Season 5 does NOT have villains. it has characters that are antagonistic forces and layered with nuance on top of nuance.

not to say previous seasons didnt do this, but this season ABSOLUTELY is entirely filled with characters like this

lmk season 5 spoilers, as well as anything from previous seasons just in case cause idk. might get long too tbh oopsies JINNGFDOIJN

we have a few characters to consider for LMK s5's "villains".

we have Ne Zha's dad (i forget his name, ill probably call him pagoda man), nine headed dragon (consort, 10th king, xiangliu) and nuwa. we could theoretically consider thousand eyed demon, however hes only relevant in one episode so id hardly count that

pagoda man is the easiest to explain, he is an antagonistic force because hes trying to hold onto what little order there is left of the world, he is trying to be the duct tape keeping the sawed in half boat together, and hes trying to minimize risks. does that excuse how he treats ne zha? fuck no, but thats a whole different discussion and depending on your interpretation of how much of the chinese mythos you use for this work will vary. he is just like mk as mk himself points out, it doesnt have to be just pagoda man doing the work, theres people willing to help, and then he joins the heroes side for the end.

cool, great, now. what the fuck do i mean by nuwa?

this is where interpretation is strongest, where it is key. ill just be sharing my perspective. when i was first watching season 5 my partner pointed out to me that in chinese mythos chaos is a core element of the world, it is necessary. this, coupled with the fact that nuwa made mk to fix a cycle she created (which we also dont know how many cycles the world has gone through, it could be one, it could be two, it could be in the hundreds if not thousands, whos to say.) and to keep chaos out... she is keeping the world from being complete. her little cave without the outside world, without proper balance, her little people living blissfully apocalypse to apocalypse. "but theyll all die!" "theyll live again" nuwa says, smile on her face.

she is disconnected from her cave, her world her people, her creations, who knows how long shes been in the limbo, how well she can perceive time, how many times a sacrifice comes in, they get a few words exchanged before they just leave, her in the pillar, only getting glimpses when the cycle is ending of the world, only to be shut in again.

neat, ok, but xiangliu??? hes who was gestured at from the BEGINNING of season 4.

see. heres where we get into the GOOD shit.

this is why it is important to establish that we dont know how many cycles have happened. we do not know how long he has been stuck, how many times he has tried to fix the world over and over. he makes it clear in his ending dialogue, if only he knew how to fix it, that sharing the power of the stones was the key to his freedom. the fact that he goes from what most would consider the least important title to the most important one, his own name, the fact he states he was wukongs friend, his enemy, both, wukong just doesnt remember

that implies longentivity. that implies so many cycles and lifetimes lived inside this cycle, being aware of everything, being so damnably aware of what one considers true freedom, and having to sit at the precipice of that.

it is agony.

xiangliu for the majority of the season is the only one to call mk by his name. mk gets so often called child, kid, nicknames by the others, maybe mei refers to him as mk, but xiangliu has it be DELIBERATE. he altered the course of the cycle to give mk a life, to let him HAVE a life where nuwa didnt care for one, he WANTED mk to grow enough that he would be able to choose. because everything is about mks choice, his ability to choose it all matters on HIS. CHOICE.

the only time this falters is when xiangliu thinks he is trapped for good. he rushes at mk, one final chance at freedom seemingly taken from him. xiangliu never fights mk. he only fights the others when they start fighting him. when its just him and mk at the edge of the world, at the edge of chaos, he talks to mk. tells him what to expect, mentions a mysterious "he" now that mk has opened the cage. and he pushes mk back so he gets to go back to his life. so that mk can have choices still. xiangliu got what he wanted, so its only right mk gets what he wanted too. to live with his friends and let everyone live a life where they can figure something out.

that is why i do not think there are villains in lego monkie kid season 5. they are antagonists with layers of nuance, nuance we arent privy to for reason or another, be it episode count, length, screentime, or that were just not supposed to yet. season 5 does not have an obvious bad guy, a villain, because the nuance is right within our grasp.

i always tell my friends i dont want to talk about marineford/post war but then i realized thats the arc i talked about most and im just oopsies !! anyway uhh

one piece post war spoilers !!! analyzing luffy's behavior in post war and it's a bit of a heavy topic (suicide implications)

i've said what i wanted to my friends but i wanna see if anyone else thought the same or im just insane

so... when luffy woke up in post war, he immediately ran for it and screamed and cried looking for ace. but he's being haunted by that traumatic moment, akainu's fist through ace's stomach... ace breaking his promise, ace's embrace, ace talking to luffy as much as he can- until his last breath... ace's blood on his hands- "STOP IT!!!!"

it kept flashing in his mind and he's trying his damndest to get it away. by punching or headbutting whatever he sees. jinbe asked law what would happen if they left luffy alone like that:

luffy would die if he was left alone. of course, with ace's request, he couldn't let that happen. so jinbe goes and sees luffy.

after tuckering himself out, luffy is aware that this is reality and not some hellish nightmare. (looking back on the panels hurt so much... it hurts to see our mc broken like this) he belittles himself, he says hes not fit to be pirate king, he's weak, he couldn't protect anyone. he couldn't save his friends and he couldn't save ace. his spirit is broken. he's alone in this world.

thats what he thought at the moment anyway... with nothing left, luffy continues hurting himself. bashing his head against the ground. maybe even until it cracks open because what the hell is luffy even good for now? might as well end it all because he's got no one and he's weak. there's no point in being pirate king if he can't protect the people he loves. and loneliness is so much worse than being in pain.

luffy would go an extra mile, push the limit, to save ace. ace gave him a place to belong when luffy literally had nowhere else to stay. he'd go so far to save his brother even if it meant his own life.

if he can't save ace, he'd want to die. but... ace couldn't let that happen. ace still had to save his little brother. despite going through literal levels of hell to save ace, it was all for nothing.

and god don't get me started how ecstatic luffy was when he set ace free. and that they fought together, back to back. but it all ended within moments.

whether or not he knew he'd die if he kept hurting himself like this, it's much preferable anyway. he wanted to die. he wished to be left alone but when jinbe wouldn't "it's my body!!! i can do what i like!!!" he was intentionally hurting himself. to get those thoughts away even if it meant killing himself.

but again, with ace's request, asking jinbe to look after luffy for him: he couldn't allow luffy to die. let alone kill himself like this. so jinbe had to help and 'repair' luffy's spirit. reminding him of what luffy still had.

after jinbe's speech, luffy began counting on his fingers that were once stained with his brother's blood... and started sobbing when he realized there was still people out there he loved, waiting for him. he wasn't alone in the world. they were still out there alive just like he was. likely in a safe place where no one would hurt them.

luffy remembers he still had his friends, who were also his family.

had ace not ask jinbe to look after luffy and had jinbe not obliging ace's last wish, luffy would have killed himself then. maybe law would have stepped in as he willingly saved his life (and needed him for future reference) but i dont think he'd have much impact as jinbe because jinbe was there imprisoned with ace, listening to his story and how dear luffy is to him.

Abby’s eyes widen as she looks down the hall where Owen was just coming from. Whistles erupt and you know what that means. Abby grabs your free hand, practically ripping your arm out of the socket as she takes off down the stairs. 

You’re practically being dragged down the stairs, skipping multiple steps at once as Abby never gives up your hand. Owen is close behind, but every so often, he stops to aim up the stairs to spray bullets. He’s trying to slow them down, but he’s also probably attracting more to your location. A door swings open in Abby’s path, and without even thinking for a millisecond, you lift up your gun and shoot directly into the opening. It was just one guy and your aim was spot on. Your mind is solely on protecting the girl who’s incapable of letting go of your hand. 

“Keep moving!”

Another five flights and you’re finally on the ground floor. Abby finally releases your hand, letting you catch your breath for a second as Owen stands his ground and lights up the staircase behind you.

“We need to find the others! Now!” Abby yells over the gunfire.

You stumble forward, checking down the hallway you watched Manny and Leah go down before you three walked up the stairs. You don’t even say anything, you just start running down the corridor. Your throat is tight just thinking of Manny’s lifeless body. 

Two Scars appear behind a corner and you expertly shoot them, running straight pass them without hestitating. You’re in fight or flight mode, your body shaking with fear that you could stumble upon a horrible scene. 

You don’t know when you start doing it, but you start screaming his name. Over and over again. You’re giving away where you are to the enemy, but you did not care.

Before you can finish slaughtering more people, Manny and Leah yell your name from a room at the end of the hall. When you get to the door, you kick it open with all your might, breaking through the door with your foot. 

“¿Qué pasó? Are you alright!?”

You’re panting and on edge, so when you see Manny’s concerned face, you breath a sigh of relief. His voice brings a bit of comfort as well. 

Abby finally makes it to you, her boots halting right behind you, while her hand grab on the sides of your body. 

“We gotta go! There’s more Scars than we thought. We either go or die!”

You swallow thickly, your body buzzing at the feeling of Abby’s large hands on your hips. She’s not doing it on purpose, it’s almost like she needs to have you close. She needs to protect you just like you protected her.

Manny glances over at Leah, nodding in agreement that they are on the same page. Abby pulls you away from the threshold so they can leave the room they were scoping out. Owen gets to you four, informing everyone where he thinks the Scars could hide and how they would probably make your escape hard. Abby’s hands are still on you. 

You glance back at her, your lips slightly ajar. She looks down at you with hooded lids. 

“We are getting out of here and you’re not leaving my side, got it?” She whispers for your ears only. You just nod.

Strap in folks. This is gonna be one LONG complaint...

(Sorry for the bad screenshots. I'm so fucking tired idgaf) SPOILERS UNDERNEATH THIS LINE GIRLIE! I REPEAT! SPOILERS UNDER THIS LINE!

Okay, positives (Don't worry. There isn't much) First of all, animation is GREAT. A bit zany and exaggerated but definitely not BAD. Voice acting is great. Cyn is great, Music's good....uh, Nuzi?...yeah that's it

Okay so we start off with Copper-9 exploding and the teacher giving zero fucks. I thought that was pretty funny. Then we see Uzi in space, currently tweaking out until Nori just basically spells out how to defeat the solver. There is no realization about how they can defeat the solver, it's just given to them. And no real reunion scene with Uzi and Nori. Sure they meet each other but there is NO closure. They act like they've been together for YEARS! Why doesn't Uzi freak out about meting her mom? Why doesn't Nori freak out about seeing her daughter? Or bring up N? Or how her life is? I get we're on a time crunch but COME ON!

Then N just swoops in to save Uzi. We kinda just skip past his reaction to Uzi's sacrifice which is a disappointment. He just says that he was mad about that and that they'll talk about it later, but they never do. It's just brushed over and done with. Then the solver comes in and throws them into space and then they're falling and burning up and then Nuzi becomes officially official.

As a Nuzi shipper, I should feel happy. My favorite ship was just mentioned of course, but it feels so shoe horned in and rushed. I was hoping it would have a bigger impact but it's just shoved in there without a celebration and the abruptly ends because Uzi want to slap a demon

You might also notice that it's been four minutes and SO much is happening in such a short amount of time. This will be a problem for the ENTIRE episode

Next we cut to J, Thad, Lizzy, and Khan and holy shit I am SO upset because they do NOTHING with them in this episode! They were setting them up for a fight but now everyone is just laying on the floor and doing jack.

Also SURPRISE, J is evil! Did you want more J screentime. Did you want her to be important to the plot or even have the SMALLEST redemption arc by the end? WELL TOO BAD because J being evil is all you're getting before she's kicked into the void forever :)

V also comes back and she has befriended the sentinels. I don't think anyone really believed she died. She basically just fights J and realizes how horrible of a person she is. She then says sorry to N for lying to him and stuff. That's cool. Don't exactly have anything to say on her. She's a good part of the episode but she suffers from underutilization like the others

Something something hot drones. Something something NxUzixV canon (My Uzi's Bi headcanon is REAL! YIPPEE)

Then they have an admittedly good fight scene. I have to say tho. There are a LOT of times where it seems like the characters are actually going to die and then the story just doesn't let it happen like some twisted game of hot potato and it gets annoying after a while. (Like when Cyn pulls out their hearts and stuff)

Then N and Uzi make up a handshake mid-fight and it just...stops the momentum of the fight. IF YOU DON'T HAVE TIME TO MAKE A JOKE IN THERE THEN JUST DON'T MAKE A JOKE!

Then Uzi just...kills the solver? Or at least Cyn? Not because of something she did btw, but because Cyn went too crazy with fazing around and shit. ARE. YOU. SERIOUS! This character has been set up to be a strong a challenging foe and she just DIES because of an OOPSIE!? It's Doll's sudden death all over again but somehow WORSE. But of course we have to make Cyn's death rushed! WE ONLY HAVE 20 MINUTES IN THIS DAMN EPISODE!

And then Uzi, like, eats her heart? And then solver is just...inside her? And there's no consequences? It's just treated as a cool accessory? Holy shit this episode was rushed

Nori saves Khan from dying. I thought they were also going to have a heartfelt moment or something. All sobing. All tears. But no. For some reason Nori gets nervous about seeing her hubby again and runs off (Honestly if I was a fleshy spider heart, I would be nervous too). Then Khan calls the flesh heart hot because he's a freak

And then....that's it. They go back to the school like nothing happened. They don't really adress that the world is currently broken, or that N, V, and Uzi still got that dawg in them (Solver). They're all just like, YEP! THAT'S THE END OF THE STORY NOW!

N says that Uzi's his girlfriend, V and Lizzy are shown to be friends even tho we've only ever been TOLD that they're friends, We get a cut away to Doll's dead body that only makes me sad they didn't do more with her, and V gets turned on by N's anime drawings, the end.

Oh yeah, and there's an after credit scene of Uzi looking miserable, probably still having issues with the solver, so clearly not EVERYTHING is resolved by the end of this season. Uzi having to battle with the Solver inside her body is a cool concept and NOBODY can tell me that Liam was TOTALLY going to do another season with this premise, but then by episode 7, decided to stop mysteriously

Okay, not part of the episode but N's merch don't make no sense. V and Uzi's make sense because they have something that is related to what they did in that episode. V fought against the sentinels. Uzi got corrupted by the solver and dragged into the hole. But N's stand shows an event that happens in episode 2. Yes! EPISODE 2! At first, I was confused why this was but it's probably because unlike the other 2, N did nothing significant in this episode except get beat up and have panic attacks. (I did feel bad for and sympathized with him the whole time ngl). But I guess getting beat up and having panic attacks wouldn't make a cool stand now would it.

Yeah, all in all, I'm disappointed. So disappointed that I might just make a fanfiction rewritting episode 8 for myself and then make it canon out of spite. Honestly the lowest ranked episode for-

Splitting this into 2 parts was the worst decision ever💔

Anyways-

*We go back to Mecloud with the finalists to see them carelessly thrown into a white padded room. The reason Cobs would need a room like this is unapparent to me. 😭 this is where that zoom in on Suitcase that I didn't mention comes in! (Thanks for putting everything soooo out of order, AE 🤩💜)

They seemed to get out of the cuffs by some means, I believe this is either bc they 𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 a way to get them off, or the cuffs were temporary, and popped off when Steve closed that door. There is a hole in this door that I'll mention again (thanks for making my job sooooo easy, AE. 😘/sarc)

We then get a zoom in on Mephone X. Forgot about him! Oopsies!!

One thing I want to notice- 𝘩𝘦'𝘴 𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦. I think his next victim is someone in purgatory mansion, so, that'll be fun!!

Things are brought back to the Hotel, with a new group of onlookers. Paper is among them, notable because he wasn't in the circle. This is not to say he's 𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦, (we know you like to put things out of order, AE🥳), but maybe that will soothe the Paper fans. (Me.)

What we see next is the first ss of part 2 (I used that to sum up all the shots we get of Knife snd Suitcase in that room) as we see knife try to break out. Suitcase is in the back talking to him, but I can see what she might be telling him. Maybe reassurance? It's clear from her face she isn't talking much about how to get out, or at least that's what I think. Oh! And back to the hole in the door, (it's back!! 🎉) we see Steve with his hand on the glass talking into it, presumably to the finalists. And finally time for me to talk about my theories for why his glasses are broken. ↓

In my analysis of the trailer snippet, I talked about how one of the reasons the finalists (and possibly suitcase (now proven also suitcase)) could have been cuffed was if Knife went back to his 'brutish' side, and ACTUALLY punched Steve. THIS SUPPORTS THAT. Ugh I NEED to see that sorry. (Oomfie is hoping he fell flat on his face like a dumbass 💜) but by God please tell me your theories on this.

Things pan back to lightbulb, (presumably before the later circling if I can call it that) I shown with that same leader-like vigor aforementioned. I think this is early on in the episode, as Bomb is shown on the couch playing video games as he was before, AND when the circle was made, the console was unplugged, so it couldn't have been after the fact.

We then go back to the white room, with suitcase walking to (what I believe is) the door, with a less grim look on her face.

I believe this is her with an idea of how to get out, trying to show - a still reluctant to listen to her - Knife.

(Ik I'm being brief with my recapping, I'm tired. 😭)

Back at hotel OJ, we can see Paper yelling at salt. Pepper seems to have a furrow to her eyebrows in the first few frames (this will prolly be my only benefit to doing this frame by frame 💔) suggesting that she's with either Paper or Salt strongly in this argument. They both at some point are pointing (haha) at OJ, or what's left of him, as they talk, making it easy to tell that this conversation is about him. (If that want clear from the fact that OJ is the only influential person that Paper and Salt have in common.)

We get a quick glance back in purgatory mansion on Marshmallow angrily trying to rationalize whatever situation they're in to the rest for who's there. This once again supports the idea the some there has/will die due to Mephone x.

And now guess what time it is

That's right!!

Circle time.

And update!! Mephone is in the center of the circle. Whether he asked the contestants to put him there, or the contestants WANTED him there, is not so clear, though. Lightbulb seems to be storing out of the circle to do something. Also we get a quick jumpscare of suitcase before the scene changes again.

And don't you love AE being so silly? Because it looks like Mephone walking into hotel OJ! When did his ass even leave? We don't know! 🥳🤩🎉 he had a somber look on his face and watch me find out in the episode that he didn't even leave and that he's just standing in front of the door for some reason. ❤

I think that (somewhere in this episode) Bow will make that egg sound again. I mean. Look. ↓

We also see (what I'm almost SURE is) Marshmallow, picking up a TV remote. Don't know why that's important yet. ❤

Back to things that ARE important!

Like Steve cobs sitting in a metal chair, smiling. His glasses are cracked here too. He's most likely looking at the finalists in the stadium we saw at the start.

And if the timeline of this ep wasn't confusing already (it is) it's even more so now! We next see Lightbulb outside of hotel OJ with Baxter and the pen Test tube got her. IMO, it seems like she's going out looking for Paintbrush. The fact that she's clicking the pen like nobody's business supports that tenfold.

Aaannd BACK TO THE STADIUM! We see two cages with either of the finalists open, both with anger splayed on their faces. But I'M more focuses on the background.

What even 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 back there? I'm done questioning why Steve has all of these rooms, because if Walkie talkie is going to take the time to tell Mephone that everything's/one's made for him, I'd believe it that she wasn't lying. 💀🙏

Once again to prove that they AREEE fighting to the death (I'm so sorry😭) suitcase takes a stance that she settles into as she exits. ;↓

I know my theory isn't strong, but I don't have much to work with here man.

After one last look at Steve on his desk chair with his glasses cracked, the trailer wraps up with a date in our faces.

This is a post about an AU that I, after long thinking, decided to just call "Rabbit Manager AU." The name is as silly as the concept itself :)

This AU shouldn't have been written about at all, but since my friends from abroad liked it, I decided to explain it a bit :)

The AU starts to diverge from the canonical events since the moment William experienced death for the first time. Even though his body died (although the death of it was slow and extremely unpleasant), his soul still lived and re-attached itself to the corpse.

And oh boy, was he suffering. Of course, he was still haunted by the spirits that refused to move on. But eventually, during his "confinement" in the safe room while feeling like his soul was constantly being turned inside out and back again, he came to repentance.

(Yeah, in this AU William, on the contrary to the canon, actually took time that he had to process the weight of his past actions and come to a conclusion that he had done a huge oopsie. AND he did so in half shorter time - he was stuck there for only 15 years.)

The souls moved on; well, except for Cassidy. They weren't as vengeful as before, but still wanted to see Afton suffer. So, the whole "personal hell" concept isn't here, it's just the last remaining spirit cursing William to eternal life in this state and following him silently.

After the fire in Fazbear Frights that his son Michael (who is still a walking corpse in this AU) had caused, William was able to get rid of the now damaged outer shell of the costume. Then, what was left of him was an endoskeleton with mummified remains of his once human body attached to it.

However, Michael wasn't lucky to get out of there alive. Since he had been animated only by the will to right his father's wrongs, for which the latter had repented, Michael had nothing to hold his spirit back from moving on to the afterlife.

William knew that there was nothing left of his previous life. Well, almost nothing - the only person from the past left alive(in normal sense) was Henry, who was still suffering from the consequences of William's past actions. That was the reason for Afton to come to him - he wanted to help Henry in order to atone for his atrocious deeds and end the whole story. However, he knew that his old friend would've never forgiven him, even if he crawled back to him on the knees. So, William changed his identity, adopting the name "Dave Miller." And, of course, he had to hide his body - long thick clothes, gloves, a wig and an odd bunny mask - all of that stuff. The latter was chosen to be specifically a bunny for no coincidence, as it both reminded him of his past and his duty and was fitting for the future workplace.

As for the main events of the AU, Henry is oblivious to the identity of his new employee on the position of a junior manager. However, once he finds out, things can get ugly for both of them.

Whew... that was a lot for an AU made for shits and giggles, right?

Now! I tried to think of what might still be unclear after all that's stated above. If you still got any questions, ask away! I'll edit the post and add the answers to this section!

Q: Does William feel pain?

A: Not physical. However, know that feeling when it's like your soul is being torn apart? Well, that's what he constantly feels due to overwhelming guilt and unseen presence of Cassidy. So, it's more like spiritual (?) or emotional (???) pain.

Q: Is he capable of communicating?

A: Ah, yes. He learned sign language since it was both hard for him to communicate with his voice (which sounds like wheezes of an old dying animal) and he's too afraid that his speech patterns and accent might give him away. However, I really don't think Henry understands sign language, so instead William/Dave communicates with him through short messages he writes in his notepad. Yes, he carries it with him at all times.

Q: How does William feel about his state?

A: Oh! He wants to f@¢#ing die. Cassidy won't let him, though. Again, the whole concept of them dragging William into his personal hell is replaced by making him suffer in his current pathetic existence.

Q: This mask looks familiar...

A: Yeah! It's based on various iterations of Michael's FFPS deisgn. I just took it and ran :)

Q: Will Henry find out? What'll happen?

A: I do not want to think about that. If he does indeed find out, I doubt he'll take such a revelation lightly. But at the same time I really want it all to end well...

"Aimcee, you have another outlander in your pocket." Wisteria pointed at the pink cat in your breast pocket that giving wisteria a nasty glare.

"Oh, the little meow meow I have." You scoop the kitten from your pocket and give soft kisses to his face which made the little kitty froze.

He did looks quite grumpy the next second as if he remembers something but he did not try to claw you or anything.

"How 'scary'..." Wisteria mumbles while he gaze at the pink cat, but his face doesn't share the same thoughts of his own words.

"A foreboding phenomenon... A count down if anything." He close his eyes as he thought of things as he did not far from the distance you all hearing voices and calls from people.

Familiar voice, not far from you all. lead by Kuma; which follow suit by rei and mayoi who's holding two dolls which is Shu and Wataru.

"MC!!" Kuma who was holding an umbrella come to a stop between you and wisteria the umbrella morph into a sword and pointed it to Wisteria neck. Kuma stood like a knight.

"..." Wisterias stared unfaze at Kuma.

"Hey what's the big deal, other sakuma!" Shu voice could be heard complaining as the first batch stood beside wisteria without question ask.

"Kuma?" You were confuse why he was doing this but with one free hand he gesture you to back away without looking away from the first batch in front of him.

"This is the only time I can finally bring you back to our real home, mc." He mumbles before snapping his hand a crystal appear in front of the pink cat which leads him to jump off your hand and before you, he transform into a human with shoulder length pink hair and purple eyes, holding your hand as he crash the crystal and a portal appear behind you three.

"WHATS GOING ON? WHAT DO YOU MEAN REAL HOME, THIS IS THE DOLLMAKER HOME." -shuu

"Your wrong." Kuma chuckle as it mockingly. "Your creator is not even meant to be them. This timeline is fucked up because of him." He gesture to wisteria who show no sign what he might felt at the moment.

"Don't throw some crap on me, Mr. Kuma. Your jokes aren't amusing." The short pink haired doll glares at Kuma.

"MC, let's go home..." You heard the person holding your hand mumble. "Everyone is long waiting for you." Looking at him tearing up almost, hearing his voice even so you don't remember meeting him before. You felt bad. But you don't know him at all.

"Oopsie." You heard chuckle of Wataru before you found yourself beside the clown as he manage to stole you away from the once pink cat with what seems to be a magic. "Now now small sakuma. You shouldn't speak with blade. We can still talk this out."

"... You guys don't understand anything. The more they stay here, the less possible outcome would end up any better..." The pinky spoke for the first time.

"And why is that?" Rei played with his hair as he look at the two who's still giving them glares and nasty look yet hopelessness in their eyes could be seen.

"Explaining to damnable people are hopeless case." The cat knight rolled his eyes, before he gaze at your direction. "MC, come with me." Opening his hand toward you, gesturing you to take it on your own Accord.

"...you guys can't take them with you. " Wisteria finally spoke. "Are you dumb? If they stay here even a bit longer, they'll die!" - pink cat.

".... Aimcee won't die. Because how can a dead person die again." He tilt his head in confusion, everyone was bombozil by his reply.

"Kanata what do you mean by that?" Shu really having an headache from all of this. Shu reach out to held your face, feeling the warmth from your skin. "They are pretty alive to me."

"The aimcee you know have long have died and gone the memories they have with that life of the past. " Wisteria stared at Kuma. " Because they made a wish that cost them their whole life line, something that often does by an "MC" of different reality. The act of selflessness yet selfish for the eyes of others.... Have you not seen such stories unfolded in different verses?" A soft smile in his face as he take step toward you, after removing his gaze at Kuma..not minding the blade that wounded him when he passes by it.

"Kanata..." Rei seems to wish to ask him something as wisteria takes your hand with a soft smile. You were still quite taken back and cannot react fast enough to say anything about the revolution your hearing, the dragon kin already pulled you toward the portal and press your hand gentle and it did not went pass. " See? Aimcee can't go with you." He seems to break the heart of the pinky even more as tears fall from his eyes.

"B-but everyone miss them! They been gone far too long!" He sobbed."everyone.... Everyone... I... I miss mc... Why is everything so complicated... huhu.... ( ´;ﾟ;∀;ﾟ;)"

You watch him broke down In front of you, you felt your heart break seeing him cry. You went besides him and tried to comfort him.

"D-dont cry... It's ok. Maybe we can try again next time—" you can't even continue when he hugged you and crying in your shoulder, sobbing and calling you mc again and again, like a little child.

"Gott lord. Oukawa you really have to break down." Kuma sigh as he face palm but he don't remove his hand from his face, the blade in his hand disappear as he seat down still covering his face.

"Tks so it's just two children trying to act tough." Shu rolled his eyes as he stared at the two cry babies who was acting tough earlier. Acting like a bad guy and all of that crap, before Kanata slap them with painful reality.

Through that do answer why, YOU don't age at all.

"What's wrong phantom? You seems quite pale right now?" You heard Wataru ask mayoi who was having a loading face when he too is too shocked to process everything until right now.

"Are ... You unable to do anything?" He ask to wisteria who was standing beside you looking at the two crying cats with dead fish eyes. "Hmmm?" The dragon kin look at him blinking. "Ah. Why do 'i' have to do lots of 'stuff' for this place...." He mumbles.

"Cause your a trespassing lizard brain! That doesn't belong here!" Oukawa screamed and pointed Wiste in mid of crying.

"Ah... "-wiste. "Not right now I guess. I'm a bit weak in the moment..." As he said that, he seat down beside you and lean his head against your shoulder.

"Little brat don't call someone names! Where's your manners!?" Shu told off Oukawa who only give a ヾ(｀ε´)ノ to shu 's direction.

tell me more tell me more "Life Force"

I think I sent this one once but it may have gotten lost in the shuffle. Basically, I was running with the idea that Marjory can canonically sense life force at short range (Season 2 in the underground Mordrem vine labyrinth, yes I'm a nerd) and that necros can obviously take life force (seen as green goo balls) and give life force (how they make minions presumably). And then I wondered what that would feel like and if it would get easier over time and feel like a weird bonding experience if you did it a lot with one specific person... like maybe a partner you REALLY wanted to know was safe and had gone through many battles with... hmmm...

Anyways, it's a collection of moments from Kas's POV about what it feels like when Jory uses her magic to check on her, help her out, etc., and in one notable case uses a life drain on her:

Kasmeer smells the blood before she sees it staining Jory’s dark clothing. It’s leaking from her thigh through her pants and now into the sand. All those medical books let her know it’s the femoral artery – you can bleed out in minutes. It's too far to travel, especially if Jory can’t get herself onto a raptor easily. Kasmeer might be able to get her there in time if she dropped a portal and cast a swiftness hex on the raptor, but who knows how much blood Jory’s already lost? The shroud can keep her from dying, but it needs energy…  As Kasmeer comes near with the raptors, Jory stretches out one hand, and she feels the drain rush past her face. Kasmeer’s raptor screams and rears, and then both animals bolt in the opposite direction. Kasmeer grabs for a bridle and misses. Jory curses. The pitch-black fades from her eyes, and Kasmeer can see them start to glaze over. She doesn’t think. She just flings herself at Jory and wraps her arms around her. “Here! Take from me!” A second of cold and dark, and then she feels the horrible unspooling sensation she hasn’t felt in years, much worse this time. It hurts badly enough she wants to scream, but she can’t – she can’t breathe, her heart stutters in her chest. She can somehow feel herself withering, skin pressing tight to her bones. Jory must be acting off sheer desperate instinct; she’d never do this to her otherwise, Kasmeer is sure. She just barely keeps herself from Blinking away, until somewhere she passes the point where she’s no longer sure she can. Everything starts to go fuzzy. Will she die out here, so Jory can live? Maybe that wouldn’t be so bad… The pain stops. She catches a glimpse of Jory’s horrified face above her, all-black eyes wide in shock. Then a familiar surge of death magic, and she’s wrapped in bitter cold – how is it so cold all of a sudden, in the desert? Sand flies past beneath her, black feathers whip past her cheek. She tries to keep herself awake, for Jory’s sake, but ultimately she fails… When she wakes up, she’s bundled up in too many blankets in the temple of Kormir, and Jory is holding her hand so tight that her knuckles have gone white. Every so often Kasmeer feels the brush of her magic, and then the sudden solitude when Jory pulls it back as soon as she realizes. Her eyes are rimmed in red, and she snaps at Kasmeer to never do that again with an anger that badly disguises fear. When Kasmeer asks about her leg, she rolls up her pantleg to reveal a fresh scar; one of the priests has healing magic, and he fixed it within seconds once she collapsed in the middle of his floor. It takes Kasmeer a solid week to feel like she can take a full breath again, and she relishes every moment if it means Jory is still here.

That one meet up caused him to literally rely on you so much that he goes to his bf RIVAL*** (jeez i keep making that typo) and BEGS BEGS BEGS him to help him find out who!! you!! are!!

Ranpo, begrudgingly, agrees because of the promise of kisses expensive candy** (sorry,, autocorrect!!) and now he's tracking you down with his trusty detective skills. Poe BEGS him to be discreet and not tell darling that Poe sent him, to which Ranpo agrees.

Ranpo who decides to take the same approach that Poe had when you two first met, and oh lord was he (platonically) smitten.

A caring person?? Who helped for nothing in return??? Not even for the gratification it gave them?? Just to help?? What in the Yokohama.

Darling has REALLY good advice. Y!P!Ranpo who is now totally not suspiciously everywhere you go, just claiming there was a case nearby and he's free.
