the general "1000 years old loli" character sucks, because there's rarely, if ever, anything actually interesting done with it, the ridiculously high age is always either 1) for shock value or 2) to justify their immense power (if they're strong) (and sometimes also for less savory reasons)

and you know what I think would be way more interesting?

the "1000 year old little kid", but instead of "child that never grew up" you get "adult immortal that got shrunk", which opens the character up to using their little kid charme to get what they want from any adult around them and then immediately after calling them a sucker

Or, said not-child being treated like a child by the adults around them and said not-child having to suffer through being forcibly put to bed at like 8pm.

There's not much fun in having to watch an immature child being an immature child with the label of "1000 years old" slapped on to them, but there is TONS of fun to be had watching a full grown adult having to pretend to be a child to all the other adults around them and all the advantages and difficulties that come with it
