Synopsis: What I think Alastors wife would be like, if he had one of course.

Warnings: mentions of blood, pinning, harassment?, Alastor being himself, not in a specific time period but at some point shifts to hell? Let me know if anyone is interested in a part two!!

Alastors wife probably didnt like him at first, and that’s a guarantee. He likes a challenge, but Alastor also likes being liked by people. It fills his ego, makes him feel good about himself. He likes to watch people stumble and fall but quite literally cracks under the pressure of doing just that when it comes to winning you over. Chances were he was constantly trying to figure you out, for two reasons. One, being that he didn’t understand how you couldn’t like him. I mean come on, look at him! He’s got the charm, the manners, the style and the class, the status. What more could you want? The second reason being, the more you denied him, the more he took it as a challenge, the more he wanted you.

Well, surprise surprise, you dont like people with an image to keep up; and to his dismay, that’s exactly what he does. He projects an image. One he refuses to change, and even after marrying you, still doesn’t drop the image, but starts to become more real and honest with himself.

“People who project an image of themselves to others are just trying to fool themselves into being someone they aren’t.” Was what you told him.

Alastor had also asked you out multiple times before you finally said yes. Everyone knows Alastor is very picky with the people he chooses to surround himself with. Everyone he associates with is either there to serve him, or to provide him with something, even if they’re unaware of it. Which only made you trust him less. What purpose did you serve him? What if one day he found you no longer useful and tossed you to the side? Well what were you to do then?

Denying him proved to be a challenge in itself, seeing that he’s quite literally everywhere all at once.

He’d try cheap tricks first. Buying you gifts, constantly showing up at your doorstep with a bouquet of flowers or a stuffed animal. One time he even got you a whole gift basket of your favorite treats. How sweet~ if it was actually about you and not him just trying to patch up his ego. Well at least that was what you thought on the matter.

If that didnt work he’d resort to going ghost. After all, people only miss you when you’re gone right? Well not in this case. He had left you alone physically, at least to your knowledge, but he had still kept a close watch on you. Why, he just knew it would bother you that he suddenly stopped! Until he overheard you speaking with a friend about how happy you were to finally get some peace and quiet. Well that simply wouldn’t do. After all, you should always make an impact, and what kind of impact would he be leaving on you if you went back to your old boring life? No no that just wont do dear.

He’ll start showing back up at your doorstep, taking you on surprise outing to force you to spend time with him. He’ll take you on a walk around a nearby park, a restaurant one day, the picture show the next. He has a long list of places to take you, so you’ll never go to the same place twice! Get your dancing shoes because he’s gonna take you out to the town for the night, after all the city never sleeps! This is when he becomes less forceful, but more of a decent calm. He begins to listen more when you speak, and you actually begin to care about what he’s saying, what a shock!

It’s almost like a switch flips after your outings. He’ll take you to an orchestra show, snickering to himself when he sees your eyes begin to water as the show closes out. He’ll force you to hold onto his arm as he walks you across the street on a rainy night, making sure you don’t slip or trip on the wet pavement. If you ever do, he’ll try his best to catch you and if he doesn’t? Oh what a nightmare, it seems he’s fallen too! For you that is~

You two begin to feel closer, not only physically but emotionally. He gets you to open up about your personal struggles, and in turn, he’ll share some of his own, but not too much. He doesn’t allow himself to be fully and completely vulnerable with you, not yet. But he does try his best to sympathize with you when you share your piece of mind with him. He feels accomplished to know this part of you, and his ego is the last thing on his mind anymore, but instead you take up all the space.

He doesn’t use pet names for you, not cute ones anyway. He’ll call you his devilish belladonna, especially if you love flowers. His creepy spider Lillie. He’ll often speak in the ‘language of flowers’, and will educate you on it if you don’t know so you know exactly what he’s talking about.

He’s the type of person to correct people in public to make them feel stupid, but he never does that with you. Instead he’ll wait until it’s just the two of you and tell you jokingly how wrong you were. You’ll get upset because he let you look like a fool, but in his mind he’s just protecting your feelings. If anyone else corrects you, they’ll have their mouth sewn shut that’s for sure!

He never gets you the same bouquet of flowers. They’re always different, and every week or so you have a new one. He keeps a separate batch for himself so he knows when to get you another. That being said he also makes the bouquets himself, he does not buy them for you already made.

When you finally take Alastor up on his offer to court you properly, he is over the moon about it! Finally, you seem to be coming to your senses dear! Though you quickly follow that comment up with a “Let the blood rush to your head first.” He just bats his lashes at you with a smile. You always know how to make him feel so loved!

Gets very jealous very easily. If he sees you laughing with someone that isn’t him, he’ll size them up before deciding if they’re a threat or not. Heaven forbid anyone actually put their hands on you and uh oh! Limb of the floor someone come get it!

His possessive nature is rooted in abandonment, and thus being said, he has deep attachment issues to you. You are never out of his sight when you two begin dating, and you’re hardly ever far from him in general. You two dress similarly too, especially if you’re from the same era. He’ll switch up your wardrobe slowly so it complements his.

He isn’t one for strong PDA unless he feels like he needs too or just has a strong want too. Usually it’s an arm around your waist, or you hanging onto his arm loosely. The most he’ll ever really do is a kiss on the back of your hand or to your temple. That being said, he’s like this for various reasons.

One, he has a lot of enemies, which means that not not only does that put you in danger, but if you’re also a powerful overlord, it puts him at risk too, though he doesn’t care much about that part.

Second, he doesn’t like physical contact much, and though he always makes an exception for you, he has his image and pristine reputation to keep up. Which you extremely dislike but tolerate because it’s Alastor and if he hasn’t changed much in centuries, nothings going to change ever.

Alastor is very very fond of you, whether you believe it or not. Your fiery attitude has him whipped more than he likes to admit. He’ll joke with other sinners that he’d sacrifice you to save himself but you both know that isn’t true, his nervous ticks prove it to be false, if you do say so yourself.

He’s very fidgety. He’ll tug a piece of your clothing or twirl a strand of your hair between his claws. If you claim he’s messing up your hair he’ll cast a tornado of shadows around you to fuck it up even more, and then smiling at you lovingly when you threaten to cut his ears off because you can’t tell if they’re his hair or just furry ass ears. You always give him a good laugh.

Other sinners are actually convinced you both hate each other, but turf wars on the news show that you two are the most in love when you’re wreaking havoc on innocent sinners for no possible reason other than the fact you two had an argument and the best way to settle it? Dancing in the rain, which actually isn’t rain, just blood falling from the sky because you like to kill people for fun.

“My darling looks the best in red if I do say so myself! Especially if she’s dressed by another’s remains, oh the beauty!”

Alastor has and will continue to get in his feelings about you and his mother getting along so well. He loves you both to pieces, so seeing his two favorite people together makes his dead heart swell with joy.

He’ll ask you to accompany him to the tailors, he values your opinion more than others so you often make adjustments to his suit and he’s just like ‘Whatever she says that’s what’s going on the suit.’ You also make him your personal dressing doll, trying different patterns and styles on him for fun. Alastor is a true skinny jeans hater and he will die on that hill, again. He really appreciates the 60’s style, but prefers to stick to his own decade.

He will take you out hunting with him, and the two of you share breakfast together with the fresh meat you’ve caught. He only gets the best quality for you because he refuses to have you two ‘eating like chums’. A restaurant tried to lie to the two of you, saying their meat was high quality and fresh. Alastor killed everyone in it and you two shared remains like a true power couple. Hells finest of course. ;)

He’s very critical of picking out jewelry for you. Hunting for the perfect ring for you took him ages, mainly because he knew exactly what he wanted but no jeweler had what he wanted all in one ring. So instead he forces them to make him a custom one. Torn limbs and bloody parts later, you have the ring that Alastor worked so hard to give you. He proposes to you Extermination day, claiming he’d love to spend another year in hell with you before the angels come to rip you two apart from each other. It was such a sweet day, at least to you it was.

The type of relationship where he plays the piano and you sing. He loves when you sing and will gush about you to anyone in sight even if he doesn’t know them.

Is very needy in private. He’s a stage 10000 clinger, and will stick to you like his life depends on it, but will be damned if anyone catches him. You don’t tell anyone about it, you like the private life.

You two have cook offs all the time. You make the hotel staff judge, and ultimately Niffty is the tie breaker because she’s brutally honest. Once she told Alastor he should stay out of the kitchen because women were better at it for a reason… harsh!

He was fine though, he got her back by ridding the hotel of bugs. He knows she likes chasing them around and for that she sobbed at his feet for ten minutes asking him to bring them back. It didn’t take much actually, Sir Pentious brought them back on his own, much to Charlies dismay.

He loves to read with you. You two often read a book and once you both finish you have a tea session over it. It starts off being about the book and then somehow shifts to just gossiping and talking shit about the other overlords, except for Rosie, we love Rosie in this household.

Speaking of, Rosie is usually where you get your clothes from. She’s a sweetheart when she isn’t picking pieces of muscle from her teeth, that sharp smile is a killer! She loves to talk about Alastor with you, and usually she’s where you go after you two have had an argument. You’re also her personal Barbie doll. She puts you in outfits and she and Alastor judge over them. Nine times out of ten you leave her boutique with a new wardrobe every time.

Now let’s talk about Vox.

Honestly the whole reason Vox knows about you is probably because he was digging through Alastors shit. But when he sees you? Oh lord, this man is HOOKED.

He doesn’t even know how Alastor managed to get you entangled with him. He finds out about you when you and Alastor aren’t dating yet, and he basically jumps at his chance to try to be with you.

Vox will forever consider you the one that got away, you can’t change my mind.

Alastor has proven time and time again that he’s basically better than Vox. He took a seven year back, came on the radio one day and boom all his viewers were back. In Alastors mind there’s no competition, just Vox being obsessed with the fact Alastor said no.

Valentino uses it against Vox all the time, and it will always make Vox buffer.

Another day another LU analysis with me!

Dawn 9 is here and with it the end of the next arc of the LU comic is done!

This update did a lot and is also a full 10 pages long! So there's a bunch to unpack!

The letters!

So, Twilight, four and Time all appeared to get letters, with Time getting multiple (More on that later)

Twilights reaction to the super sale was my reaction while playing TP (I recently finished it for the first time! :D) when they opend the store in castle town. Every time i couldnt get there to get potions i was low key gutted.

And Four. Four's grandpa is a mood and i hope we get to meet him.

But... I, as a part of the The team is heading to Skyloft next, team. Believe that Sun has done this on purpose. (Or that the Skyloftians dont have the mail system for him to retrieve anything) but i like to think its the first one.

Hmmm.... Time got multiple letters. (That takes care of the letter discrepancy)

Twi asking about the ranch, Time looking to one of the letters. This tells me one of two things.

The letter he's looking to could be from Malon, and he's genuenly not concerned.

or The letter he's looking at isnt from malon. Infact, by the way he's looking at it i think its from his Zelda. Possibly a report about black bloods in his time period. (As last time we see them in Time's era. They dont actually fight anything)

Twilight being cheeky and Time's dad face are giving me life.

But... as we know, Time is Twilights direct decendant only by a few generations at most. With the infomation we have from Twilight princess with Shade. And from jojo with Time and Twilight. I'm seeing this conversation as more of a father and son conversation over brothers.

And the rest of this conversation follows this same pattern. Twilight is very much being scolded. He's biting back with what he see's as Time's own words. (not that time know's as such)

Twilight looks genuenly shocked to hear this.

And I'm convinced that theres going to be something bad happens to time directly after the end of the LU timeline.

Time is missing an eye. So we know that Shade and Time are closer together than the hero of time (In game). SO.... If time dosent Die on the adventure with the chain. I'm almost convinced he does almost right after he returns back to his time.

The armour is almost identical. He has most of the scaring which lines up....

If the helmet turns up, then i think Time dies during this adventure. It's the only thing i can see as missing.

Twilight.... Now i think Twilight thinks that the gods are giving him an opportunity to save the hero of time from dying to become the heros shade. but thats the funky thing about timetravel.

(Depending on how Jojo and LU time travels works.)

I believe that the timetravel in LU solidifies the adventures of the other links. And that nothign that occours in this adventure impacts their adventures. Even if something was changed it wouldnt change the past.

IE - Twilight breaking his shadow crystal wouldnt mean that wild didnt remember having the wolf on his adventure - as its already happened.

(I hope that makes sense. - time travel is confusing i see it as an alternative timeline type thing)

It also makes a lot of sense. If Sky is the slowest of the group(Again not confirmed but we have had jokes about his stamina), it makes sense to put him at the front to maintain pace of the group. Stops people going too fast and prevents people from being left behind.

Which i might add has already happened. (Warriors and Hyrule im looking at you.)

We just need to read the boss partterns for a bit so we can then decide how to fight it. You know, like we did when we were in our adventures and had to figure out boss mechanics.

Important that hyrule is saying this as his game is arguably one of the hardest. He probably spent a long time on each boss learning attack patterns.

| • you would apologize for neglecting him ,, presenting him with your gifts as you awaited for a response . it took him a few moments to realize the situation ,, emerald eyes wide with emotion and heart beating frantically within his chest .

| • a pout formed on his lips ,, standing up from his chair and pulling you into his embrace . his arms snug around you ,, trying to prevent himself from showing anymore weakness than he already was . especially in r.a.d. where anyone could walk in and see how vulnerable he was .

| • " thank you my dear ." he whispered ,, pressing a kiss to your head and opening the present box . inside were two necklaces ,, resembling hearts and two different letters on each one . a 'm' on one for his name ,, and another to match the first letter of your name . intertwined together ,, he unraveled the necklaces from each other ,, witnessing the half heart they made when taken apart .

| • he would forever treasure your gift ,, hiding it under his r.a.d. uniform but sometimes you could see the chain peak out around his neck . it would take more communication between you two ,, but you would help with his insecurities and make him feel as loved as you could .

Could also be about the love and broken heart he leaves behind in his youth with Cristina...

More than thinking this as Juno wanting Ezio to die, I think its more in "Im not talking to you but thru you, you are unimportant" kind of way Minerva acted towards him when they "met". Its the "end your story cmoon" attitute all the ancient ones display because they see humans are rats/below them... Ezio tried to ask the "gods" for guidence. Quickly learned that They dont care about him, only Desmond.

But Desmond cares about him and desperetly wants to be heard back and tell him how it was not all for nothing and that he is worth so much...

“Chekhov’s Gun” and Good Omens Episode 1 SPOILERS and speculation

yes i was at the Brooklyn July 18 premiere so these are real spoilers

The “Chekhov’s gun” is a story telling principle that says any detail in a story should serve a purpose in the overall narrative, i.e. if you SHOW a gun to the audience, it SHOULD be fired later in the story. 

Applying this to Heaven’s threat of erasing a name from the “Book of Life” as punishment for anyone hiding or kidnapping or assisting in the missing Gabriel issue: we have never heard the term “Book of Life” in season 1, and why mention it as a threat if it is not to be used in the plot? Why not just say “torture” or “toss into the deepest pit” or anything else that we as the audience would clearly understand as “bad thing”? 

No, it is purposefully stated “erased from the Book of Life” and then we are explicitly told this will mean “they will have never existed”. 

I propose this prediction for the climax of the story, based on my seeing episodes 1 & 2 AND the EVERY SPOILER!!! so STOP HERE if you have avoided and want to continue to avoid “EVERY”. I guess basically here is my current fanfic for the season. 

Fact: we have yet to find out Angel Crowley’s name. He suspiciously doesn't give it to Aziraphale who prompts him for an introduction in the opening pre-fall scene. He changes his name at least once, from Crawley to Crowley, and maybe more times since Hastur and Ligur bemoan “whats he going by these days” in season 1

Fact: The ONLY reason Crowley gets involved in helping hide Gabriel is after hearing that the Book of Life erasure punishment is in play and RUSHES to Aziraphale to protect him while “Good old fashioned lover boy” plays 

THEORY: Crowley will take the blame for hiding Gabriel by handing him into Hell in order to protect Aziraphale. Gabriel will regain his memory and will come to recognize Crowley as either Raphael or Lucifer (more on that theory later)  and Crowley will get Gabriel to swear to secrecy that Aziraphale was involved because hey wouldnt an Archangel want to take out a powerful demon who was once an Archangel or Gods Favorite Light Bringer? So Gabriel allows Crolwey to take the blame and heaven to erase him. 

Crowley will rush back to the bookshop to say goodbye to Aziraphale and EVERY happens. Something like “Well i guess if its my last chance to say it” a la doctor who happens, and smoooooch. and THEN. 

Nothing happens. Crowley cannot be erased because no one in heaven knows his name. They demand Muriel (a scribe angel) look up “the Demon Crowley” and she realizes rather happily there is no such name in the book. They try “the Demon Crawley” and still no luck. 

Gabriel returns to heaven, and he keeps mum on the subject, having gone on an emotional journey with the husbands, he looks at Muriel knowingly and says something like “o well, Muriel keep looking, however long it takes” and he turns on his heel and is off. Muriel smiles and we cut back to our husbands that are really confused, Aziraphale cuz he just got smooched by the love of his life and Crowley cuz apparently he now has to live with his actions....

As for the “Lucifer” theory instead of the Raphale theory: in the HEBREW BIBLE Satan and Lucifer appear to be different angels, Satan a title meaning “the opposer” or “the acuser” and Lucifer “Morning Star” or “Light Bringer” an angel “that fell”. 

Crowley was an angel creating stars including falling stars. 

Crowley appears to be the more powerful miracle maker in season 1, and appears to outrank Aziraphale in the pre fall scene. 

The angels say the miracle to hide Gabriel (which Crowley and Azirpahale performed together) was EXTREMELY powerful, too powerful for Azirpahale.

Crowley was an angel and a demon that did his own thing and didnt listen to authority, either God or Satan. 

Satan, the red horny guy, is clearly called “Satan” in season 1 EXCEPT for the bar scene where Crowley states “i was bored... and then hey its lucifer and the guys!” - what if he is referring to HIMSELF and the guys? it would still work. 

Neil has been pretty against the Raphael theory for some time....

ANYWAY. This is AAALLLL probably way off BUT if i even have a small portion of something right i need it written down to point to after July 28 :)

In ANY case there MUST be some kind of USE of the Book of Life i CANNOT imagine a world where that “gun” doesnt “fire”

EDIT: another story telling principle is called a “Red Herring” and that could also well be in play here, what with all the “Clue” references earlier this month. Lastly, the Archangels all SEE Crowley in the Job story, but he is in his glasses and in his time appropriate clothing....maybe the fact that he is always blending into the fashions of the time is that he is sorta HIDING his status as Raphale or Lucifer and blending in?

oh absolutely! im kinda mad abt the way they went abt it bc like if they showed us at the beginning ras recruiting jay and then maybe some training to show his personality start to change due to shatter spin or something (in general i think letting us see his first shatter spin would be really cool and make it so dramatic bc the viewer would just fully know its no longer jay as we knew him b4 the ninja knew) plus it would spare us the random ass monologue in the middle of the jay nya fight

bc if i didnt know he was gonna be working with ras beforehand id be reaaallly confused abt why hes suddenly on his team and evil and the only explanation being oh i ran away and ras helped me after DOES NOT HELP and just in general that explanation felt very unsatisfying

honestly id even go ahead and say that it just feels like he was placed there for the sole purpose of angst? and that backstory stuff was just an excuse for him to be there

also the way he loses one game so they take him out the back and just end his misery is kinda funny to me like yeah sure hype this guy up and then have him appear twice do nothing but fail and leave why not sure keep mentioning him being really powerful why not whyyy not

• Baxter | Peter

It's clear that Baxter knows what he's doing, people's opionion of him was either he's weird and that's why no one's friends with him or that he's too cool to have friends. In his universe no one knew who spiderman really was, but it's an easy guess that he's rich- his suits were always new and clean, almost sparkling even! And he there's always this certain smell when he's present, it's probably branded perfume, body lotion, etc. Plus, he spoke fancy and he never hurt his enemies, like a gentleman. People joked that he might as well wore a full-suit and the next day he showed up to a fight in a tuxedo, no one knew if he did it on purpose or not, but it sparked a debate whether spiderman was one of them, the commoners, or he just understood commoner's joke.

Although the world couldn't figure out his identity, there's yet another side of him that he kept a secret from the world, any world in universes, really. Baxter Ward was actually a pathetic man who definitely didn't drop to the floor and had panic attack when he got bitten by the radioactive spider. Yes, he's a questionable, rich, pampered mentor for Renee.

He met Jamie in Renee's universe, they were... colorful. He couldn't describe them with any word that existed in his and their universe. Colors were the most beautiful thing he had encounter, and they had all of the colors. And he did not have any. But he had to leave and go back to his world, never to came back. He didn't realize his universe was essentially empty now, there's no color, no Renee, no Qiu and no Jamie. He might really be a weirdo no one wanted to be friends with, just like they said. But he's way more sad thinking about how he especially missed Jamie's eye color and, it was a weird feeling, but their "colorful" personality too. Baxter didn't know a person's trait could have colors in it, and that those colors could feel warm, he missed those dearly too, more than their eyes. But less than their lips. No! He needed to stop thinking about them. To distract away from his sorrow, which was caused by himself, he joined SpiderSociety right away, and went on missions whenever he's allowed to. Even though he missed Renee (and Jamie), he actively avoid her universe because there are odds of crossing path with them. He made them cry, their tears were transparent. He was just a stranger from another universe, and he had hurt them. Yeah, going back there and apologize was a choice, but well, it seemed like it'd be an unfinished business for a while...

• Darren/Renee | Miles

Going through a lot of changes; mentally and physically, Darren had only figured out his behavior towards girls and to his reflection as his insecurity. He understood that he's not angry because of the physical changes- puberty and whatnot- he's angry that he's not a girl. His mom was the most beautiful woman in the world, why was his similarity with her were only their eyes? He wanted her hair too! Actually, he wanted whatever other girls had, and he's upset that he didn't. Getting bitten by a spider, witnessing Spiderman died, got chased by a criminal, hands sticking to a wall and to Qiu's beatiful long hair weren't helpful either. He knew he needed to change. He- no, the first step SHE needed to take was to introduce Darren to Renee, to embrace herself. Baxter and Qiu didn't help much with the journey except making her understood that her reactions were not normal teenagers tantrum, but Qiu, being unapologetically non-binary (and their sarcastic nature), did make her a little bit braver to be more of herself. Qiu was cool. Baxter's just a pretty chill guy, so that's good, but Qiu joked that they're glad Renee's not a good student becauae they didn't want her to take after him.

Renee housed Baxter and Qiu, they didn't have anywhere to go. They did actually, to Uncle Holden's house, whoever that was, but Baxter was too unwell to navigate. He kept puking because he was overwhelmed and overstimulated by all the lights colors. He explained that his universe were only black and white, but not like the old movies, like Renee and Qiu's world "manga" instead. This wowed them, especially when he removed his mask and his skin was pale- literally paper white. His eyes were brown, but he didn't know what brown was. They kept touching and pinching his skin, it's smooth but weird. He had no shadows no matter where the light was shining from, he's just black and white. After his fifth time throwing up white and black liquid, they decided to help him (Qiu actually wanted to try feed him normal food and see how his body process it).

Although basically new to, well, both her spiderwoman identity and herself, Renee would eventually be able to stand on her own and surpass Baxter and Qiu. Currently, she's not as close with her friends from the other universe anymore, in fact, she had never seen or heard from them again.

• Qiu | Gwen

A very agile ballet dancer, used to be social but now they literally would bite, or so it seemed. They most likely wouldnt have a single friend if Franky didn't make the sacrafice to try and understand them. Qiu was hard to handle, even for themselves. They didn't know why it was so hard to do simple things, it's like they needed to break themselves out from their own. Alas, that wouldn't work. This wasn't an interactive game about androids becoming human-like, their "errors" didn't came from a program and they had no reset button, unfortunately. It was frustrating for everyone, but it's especially distressing for them. Boy, they're glad their identity as Spiderperson was unknown by everbody except Franky, they wouldn't want to have enemies and fans knowing their weaknesses. Fortunately, the spidey-sense had help them do the Spiderperson's stuff normally.

Qiu, Franky and Tam were friends, but growing up happened, it was just shitty, and now they're all just neighbors. Sometimes they saw each other outside thier houses and didn't say a word, avoiding eye contact or just straight up ignoring each other. Except Franky, they always had something to say, that's annoying when Qiu tried to obviously avoid them on purpose, but they never relent. At least their one neighbor didn't change, so that was nice. But they're almost always with Tam- like a puppy and her owner or whatever- and Qiu hated Tamarack. They had to pay attention to EVERYTHING when she was there because she's easily hurt, actually scratch that, she'd feel hurt by almost anything, even the wind! Probably. Qiu's had enough playing guardians as the town's hero AND their real life. They're tired of everything, they should be allowed being tired without feeling guilty. Her being like that was just stressful to them, Franky and herself. The relationship wasn't healthy anymore, so it couldn't be helped, not everything can be protected forever. When Tam found out Qiu was THE Spiderperson, it was like her bravery from childhood resurfaced, she'd been a fan! She blurted out for a sign on one of their scattered papers. They rejected the request. Franky got it for her though. But it felt less special, and now she felt a little sad whevener she's thinking about Spiderperson... they were just her neighbor, still awesome, but just a neighbor- and not even a friendly nighborhood Spiderperson.

Qiu was more than surprised to meet Tamarack in SpiderSociety, she was also a Spiderwoman! What! And they actually went on a couple missions together (after the leader had enough of them and their weird excuses to avoid those missions). But there's something off about her, Qiu was sure of this. They could see the striking confidence exuded in anything she did, she's good at fighting and yelling, just like their childhood Tam. Was it the effect Radioactive Spider's bite on her? They wanted that too! It took a while before they realized she's from another universe. Was the Qiu in her universe... better? At least normal, just like how people were supposed to be? They wanted to know but didn't want to ask. But they had to admit, the mission they did together made them missed the old times. This was what pushed Qiu to reconcile with their own Tam, although it didn't make things turn back to its original state.

• Tamarack | Miguel

Tamarack was indeed the leader of SpiderSociety. Her canon event was losing her bestfriend Autumn to her parents' experiment- accidental, but she couldn't condone her parents anymore. She left home and traveled through the universes until she found where they're both friends. Tamarack would surprised Autumn everytime their universe's Tamarack went the other way and she appeared from another in mere seconds. She'd joke she had superpowers. But Qiu had always been smart and their gut feelings were strong. They confronted Tamarack for explaination, because what had been happening weren't normal. She had to come close or else, they'd stop talking to her. Autumn cried and apologized that she lost her bestfriend, he wouldn't know what to do if they lost their Tamarack. She tried to comfort them, but the moment she touched them, their body started to disintergrate. Their cries were not sad anymore, it was fear. A familiar voice came from behind, it was their Tamarack, she must had been listening. Just as quickly as she came and hug her Autumn, they both disappeared. So did their universe. Tamarack went back to her own universe, scared to admit to her close friend, Frankie, of what she had caused. Autumn died in her hands again.

Now, Tamarack and Frank had been helping each other with the programs and informations on every Spiderpeople in every universe. She needed to prevent the same thing from happening again, this was her responsibility now that she attuned the knowledge. She couldn't witness another Autumn die from unnatural deaths. Keeping the canons intact sounded cruel, but it'd be crueler for her to let everything fall apart. She did what she had to do. Although, she had been avoiding Qiu in the SpiderSociety, so much so that she didn't realize they were doing the same thing. But some things couldn't be avoided forever. Or maybe Frankie had been tampering with the schedules from time to time behind Tamarack's back. Their missions were fun, even though they're yet fron another universe, Qiu 'Autumn' Lin was easy to talk to. They even had a moment of somewhat heart-to-heart talk, but Tamarack made sure that they were not becoming friends. The chance of having natural death as a Spiderpeople was reduced at least by 50%, but what if Qiu died unnatural death in her hands again? Or, again, because of her? Even the thought was too much for her. She's almost too scared to even look at them, but she had the leader image to keep up with.

Meeting Baxter and Qiu wasn't a problem with her, she hand monitored them throughout the events in Renee's universe. She's pretty, but she's an anomaly. Tamarack didn't ban Baxter and Qiu from visiting Renee's universe, but she had made them understood to restrain themselves from going there. None of them know what would happen if they keep contacting with an anomaly- worse case scenario, that universe vasnihed. Worst case scenario, every universe perish from existence. So to help them ease their focus on Renee's universe, she reminded them other universes need their help to keep up with the canon events.

Qiu had never been the rule-follower, so they visited Renee more than a couple times. Tamarack knew about this, of course, but maybe she still had a soft spot for someone who shared the same face as he own bestfriend. They seemed so lost at times, but Tamarack couldn't be their friend even when she wanted to be. She's also not Baxter's friend, so she had no way to get close to Qiu. It made her feel a little bit helpless, but Frankie always knew how to get her back on her feet. Plus, as long as they didn't mess around with the canon events again, nothing weird had happened ever since Qiu visited Renee.

The result of contacting an anomaly still wasn't clear, but one thing's for sure, Qiu had brought Renee into the SpiderSociety. Not accidentally, they had offered it to her.

i actually didnt have and inspiration for tamarack actually, but i wanted her to be included too bc my girl's gotta be an amazing spiderwoman! so i did hers on the spot. she's pretty different from OLNF but its still herrrr 🩷🫂

So Ryan's first relationship was with Dyvim Whitehart. They were really really into each other when they met, and ofc they saved Khrysalis together ! Ryan was about 22/23, and they felt like this was it, they'd found their forever partner. They'd fallen fast and hard, but it just felt right. And things really were great!! They both preferred to take action and help others instead of sitting back, Dyvim is really gentlemanly, they were the only two who really understood eachother when it came to what theyd experienced with morganthe, each one trusted the other with their life, i mean they really had somethin!

annnnd, then they didn't

The first nail in the coffin was Dyvim's desire to stay in Khrysalis. He felt a sense of duty to help rebuild, and for all the traveling he did, he still missed his homeland whenever he was away. Ryan, on the other hand, gets depressed if they have to stay in one place for a long time. They don't have that sense of home, being basically an alien n all that,,

The second nail was that were both relatively young. Ryan is kinda hot-headed and impulsive, but it was wayyy worse when they were younger. And Dyvim was only a little older. They argued about where they wanted to live. Alot. And being younger meant they didnt really know their priorities or boundaries too well yet. So they wanted to sacrifice too much for this relationship that didn't fulfill their emotional needs. They both said and did alot of stuff that was really hurtful, and they both hurt eachother on purpose sometimes. And if one of them did something by accident, the other refused to forgive. Even tho it was a legit accident. So that would build more resentment and start the cycle again.

The third nail was just the inability to communicate. There was so little communication. One wouldn't understand what they had done wrong, and the other would just refuse to ever talk about it. That also built tonnnns of resentment at lightspeed

The breakup was REALLY bad. They'd gotten pretty codependent while trying to hang onto this very bad relationship, so that made everything wayyy harder. Eventually, one day, Dyvim was just gone. Ryan pretty much got the hint at that point, but it was still really hard. They had a ton of trauma to work through, and even when theyd gotten thru alot of it, they still felt hollow and misanthropic and bitter.

So, some years go by, and Ryan is starting to feel better. They still get angry thinking about all that happened, but they atleast feel better.

Then they meet this REALLY weird guy. He looks just like The Old One, with bizarre tentacles on his face, an unsettling stare, and a silly top hat, but he doesn't act like The Old One. Instead of being articulate and manipulative, he's now dazed. Like he just woke up. Half his words he stumbles over, and he spends so much time agonizing over the other half, wondering if he's saying what he means. He calls himself Nothing. Ryan can't tell if he's telling the weirdest and least funny joke, or if The Old One is just trying to manipulate them for some reason.

Eventually, he starts calling himself Dasein. Ryan can't understand why. It's barely a real word. But there's kind of a charm to him, in his own strange way. He seems genuine. Maybe he was telling the truth about those cavities.

He becomes ashamed of the form he's taken. Ryan can't explain it, but they kind of miss seeing that slightly bewildered-looking stare from his inky black eyes. The way he's always just below a shout when he speaks. But most of all, Ryan is touched by how hard this Dasein guy is trying to learn. It really does seem like he's just now learning the ways of the spiral. And he really looks up to Ryan. They didn't feel worthy of anyone looking up to them. And if they were being honest... they looked up to him. He was determined to do the right thing no matter what, and he had faith in others. Ryan hadn't realized how cynical and detached they'd become until then.

At some point, Ryan feels bad for him not really having any place to go. They know that feeling. So they let him hang out in their arcanum apartment whenever he feels like it. He spends alot of downtime reading and practicing speaking with Ryan. He really doesn't need the practice anymore. He was using impressive language from all the reading, but talking to Ryan helps him feel more confident. And Ryan likes talking to him... alot. Sometimes they talk about history, and sometimes they get to know eachother. They bond over the fact they're both from beyond the spiral, that much of spiral culture seems weird, and they laugh together.

The tentacles aren't offputting anymore. His skin is actually cool and soft, not clammy like they'd expected. They learn all of that when Dasein excitedly tells them to touch his hand and feel his skin for themselves. When Ryan does, they look up and catch his gaze. He's smiling enthusiastically, like a kid who's just remembered the candy in their pocket. Something in Ryan's heart reawakens, and they can't get him off their mind after that. Every time they think about him, they get a fluttering in their stomach.

When he disappears into the world synthesizer, Ryan doesn't know how they could keep going. They want to stop everything and wait for him to come back. Eventually, Malwurf forcibly takes the synthesizer from Ryan. Ryan knows he was right to do so. They had basically been keeping a live bomb tucked under Dasein's favorite blanket. If it went off for whatever reason, they wouldve all be killed.

When Ryan goes to explore the newly created world and they hear his voice again, they almost can't be dragged away. When they hear him again later on, alone and afraid and calling out for them, everything else becomes a second priority. And when he retreats away in fear and pain, they follow him to the actual ends of the spiral to help him.

It isn't until they're both home, together and safe, that they finally admit to eachother how they feel. And Ryan's life is forever changed by that moment.

sorry for taking so long to get back to you (im the "wowzers" anon) but yes! i can totally scream your ear off about this!

you talking about the routes in this game being a metaphor for college and purposes in life reminds me of what playing pqr has meant for me personally. i first found this game when jade's route was still being worked on (the "anticlimatic" update specifically) and its really so strange to see how much of my life has changed. a couple days after i started playing pqr i realized that i was going to have to move and it basically uprooted my life (realization not brought on by pqr just happened to be at around the same time). most of my plans for how i wanted to spend my life, seeing my friends, my career paths, kinda felt like they got eviscerated because of stuff out of my control. but i just like. ignored it and didnt really think about it :) at least until the move happened and it all came crashing down. im sorta better now, but still going through it. and. just seeing jade talk to kanaya and talk about not knowing where to go next or who exactly you are now plus the jade theme music playing in the background that i had listened to constantly while playing, replaying, and rereplaying jade's route. actually made me want to bawl my eyes out (in like a good way though lol). this game is so special to me. its been one of the main things in my life right now thats been keeping me going through it all. i love to go back to it and replay it comparing the older routes to the newer routes and see what references i missed. everytime i play it, it feels like a find something new. and i think even years after now and even if homestuck becomes a smaller part of my life, this game is going to stick with me forever. thank you so so so much.

also, on a sillier note, what the heckadoodle do you mean the fucking hampsters movie was real? i was just like oh haha thats a silly idea! a hamsters movie with the hamster dance! such a funny and fake thing to have in a homestuck fangame! its like guy fieri being the antichrist or gushers being made by a genocidal fish! silly fictional stories making up silly fictional things!

actually i just realized this is probably very congruous with homestuck. because i do not know how to convey the shock i felt when i was in a convenience store and found out that faygo was real. and then the further shock when i realized that tab was real after telling myself that SURELY at least one drink in homestuck was fictional.

Tickletober day 2 - Accidental

HELLO AGAIN‼️‼️ i think this is tbe most fics ive produced in the span of a few days so woop woop

Pairing: lee!Xiao ler!Aether

Xiao let out a grumble, once again reaching up to the top kitchen shelf. After Aether invited him into his teapot, the least he could do is go fetch something for him.. But, it was no use, no matter how far he reached his fingertips just missed it. It was a wonder how Aether reached it himself, he wasn't that much taller than himself after all.

He must’ve taken a while, because he heard soft footsteps behind him and a small chuckle that could only belong to Aether. “Here, duck down a bit for me.”

He was a bit confused, but complied anyway. What he wasn't expecting was for Aether to gently push him down, reaching up to the top shelf himself. He retrieved the item, his hands coming down shortly after. What he didnt notice is that his knuckles grazed down from Xiao’s upper ribs to his hips.

The particular motion caused the adeptus to let out a gasp, flinching upwards. Aether let out a noise of confusion, stepping back from him and tilting his head. “..What was that?”

“Nothing of importance, Traveller.” He replied, crossing his arms over his chest in his regular stance. The blonde raised an eyebrow, turning his head to catch a glimpse of the other’s face. “You sure? You're getting kinda blushy..”

“I'm sure.” He mumbled quickly after, taking his gaze to another direction. “If you say so..”

Aether tried to drop it, he really did.. but he was curious, and equally confused. So, to cure the said curiosity, he reached an arm behind him and ran a single finger down the side of his torso.

The touch resulted in a strangled-like noise. It could be passed off as a gasp and a flinch, but to him it almost sounded like.. a giggle? “W-What was that for..?” Xiao asked quietly, turning to face Aether. He didn't look mad.. more flushed, and slightly nervous.

“..I just didn't know you were ticklish.” Aether shrugged, turning back to whatever he was doing seemingly unfazed. “..What?”

“I said I didn't know you were ticklish.” He repeated himself, thinking that his guest didn't hear him. He turned back to meet his gaze when he did not receive an answer, being met with a stare of confusion.

“You know what that means, right?” The traveller tried to confirm, completely turning back around.

“Forgive me if I dont know of every mortal custom.” Xiao huffed, a thick coat of sarcasm lacing his voice. Aether just laughed softly, “Alright, alright.. I get that.”

“Would you like to know what it is?” He proposed, leaning back against the counter. Xiao glanced at the floor, debating the offer before nodding. “I.. suppose so, yes.”

That's all the consent he needed before he lead Xiao to face away from him, softly grasping both of his hands with his own and pushing them together.

“Now, arms up.” Aether said firmly, slowly lifting them up incase Xiao decided to back out. To his surprise, he followed without too many worries. He knew Aether wouldn’t hurt him on purpose.

“..Why?” The adeptus asked, turning his head back to look at the other. “It makes it easier.” The blonde replied casually, resulting in a soft huff and him turning his head back to the wall.

“Basically.. It's a fight or flight reflex.” He began, resting his free hand on the shorter’s lower ribs. “I don't know the exact science behind it.. but, it does this, so that's pretty cool right?”

In the middle of his sentence, he gave a soft squeeze to the spot on the ribcage his hands were lingering on. Xiao let out a choked laugh, leaning away from his hand on reflex.

Quickly after, he moved back and tilted his head a bit. “Thats- thats..” He trailed off, trying to collect his thoughts.

“Not sure yet?” Aether chuckled, “That's okay. How about.. I keep going, and you decide if you completely hate it or not. How does that sound?”

“..I guess so.” He mumbled, relaxing a bit after tensing up for a moment. “But.. I have a question. Why does it make me laugh? Is that.. normal?”

“Yeah, it's normal. It's just how your brain alerts you, happens to everybody. Well.. most people.” He answered, before gently fluttering his fingertips around to his right side.

“Hah-.. that's- okay..” He let out the soft giggles that had been bubbling up in his throat from the moment the other had laid a hand on him, lightly squirming away from the touch.

“It’s okay?” He repeated, taking a glance at Xiao’s expression. He couldn’t help but stare when he saw the flustered smile on his face, along with his cheeks fading a light shade of red.

To his disappointment, the adeptus noticed quickly and hid his face into his arm the best he could. “Awh, no fun~” Aether giggled, obviously joking.

“Shuhush..” He mumbled, feeling the way the traveller moved onto his stomach. Ironically, he also felt the way the sensations got significantly stronger. “Wahait–!”

Aether immediately paused, turning Xiao around slightly to meet his eyes again. “You okay? Had enough?”

“..N-No.. I didn't- it was a reflex. My apologies, Aether.” He said breathily, leaning back onto his companion slightly. “That's fine, no need for apologies.. Does that mean you want me to continue?”

“..If-.. ..if that's what you wish to do, then..”

“You could just say ‘yes’, yknow.”

ok im sorry but "he's our dick" does not feel earned to me. like they use that fantastic shot of the whole crew in episode 6 last season but what's crucial abt that shot is izzy isn't hanging out with the crew. he's sitting away in the corner monologuing abt how he thinks maybe ed might not want to kill stede.

i do think it's significant tho that jim wasn't there for izzy at his worst aka threatening to withhold rations for laughing at him. like they weren't part of the vote to mutiny against izzy. but frenchie was and frenchie was like "start with his leg see where it goes" which does not seem like he's really that invested in keeping izzy alive.

also it's weird how we don't see fang at all for this bit with hiding izzy in the walls. like he would be the one i'd expect to have the strongest connection to izzy bc he knew izzy before the show started and he was hugging and comforting izzy last episode.

anyway imo jim keeping izzy alive is more abt them missing when they were on the ship with olu and the whole crew and the ship was like a family, not necessarily abt feeling loyalty to izzy specifically. i could be wrong tho who knows.

one thing i do know is that it is VERY important to point out how jim is struggling really hard with everything, archie is not. she wasnt there for the co-captaining era at all and she seems to be rolling with everything like it's all expected. this includes the wedding raid and ed pointing a gun at her last season and stuff. even now she's mostly just confused by why jim is bothering to try and keep izzy alive. but she acts like the amputation and the violence are all what she expected.

I dont have headcannons specifically but more like an imagining for how their relationship went. Also- this may not fit with the cannon since these are my thoughts :D

I imagine Tanya as the oldest sister among 5 or 6. I imagine her going into training as soon as she can walk- and being angry about it, which only makes her seem stronger. Why dont her sisters have to train? Why is she here? To protect the future empress? She never even met her. Shes living her life in training for a stranger- a possibility, of a kingdom to thrive. It isnt fair.

She still doesnt understand as the years go by, even if she only gets stronger- more resilient. But for what, she cant even know yet. All she heard were stories about Sindels daughters- mostly praise about Kitana. But what about Mileena, the actual future empress? Her hatred grows into curiosity.

Then she sees her for the first time- and she understands completely.

She clearly cares- and thats all Tanya has ever wanted really- for someone to care about it. Even if she didnt care about her soecifically, this Mileena seemed to care about her role greatly- so Tanya didnt train for nothing.

The one saving grace in all of this seems to be Mileenas glances and soft words. She never expected the princess to be so…gentle with her. Even if its just words, Tanya knows she means it.

It makes her happy.

It makes her accept her purpose.

Sindel is even more stern then she heard. She tells Tanya to always defend Mileena with her life. To make sure she pushes her to do her absolute best- to make sure she doesnt grow weak enough to be replaced.

But how can Tanya help her, when she herself feels weak every time the Edenian smiles in her direction? She is the last person able to ask her to focus.

What was wrong with her?

They train. They train daily, Mileena always summoning her. Tanya cant help but feel a sense of pride that Mileena asks for her specifically.

One day, she defeats Tanya with an incredible ease, her two sai as sharp as a snakes teeth, her eyes like its venom. And she cant help but sigh at what she sees. She is so beautiful it actually pains her, because while she is only devoted to her princess, she knows its only obligatory on her side.

Mileena asks what she is sighing at, and before she can think, she tells her how beautiful and strong she is.

But Tanya assures her her heart only sings about her. She even grabs Mileenas hand, and something in the way she assures Mileena of her deserving her empress title makes the Edenian quiet.

She leaves it at that.

She went too far. She went way too far.

Sindel will surely banish her once she hears of this. Mileena hasnt asked her to spar in the last few days. She ruined it.

Why did she ruin it.

Before it was just quick glances, at most a hug. Nothing like this. She was sick.

This went against everything she trained for, everything she believed in.

She decides to take another risky move, to go to the princess herself to apologise for her unusual behaviour. She knocks- no answer. She opens the door, seeing Mileena crumpled in a sheet, splayed across the floor, her eyes bright like fire and mouth strangely contorted. She looked like a monster.

But then why was her first thought to hug her? To hold her with no fear? Who cared what she had?

She needed her.

She needed HER. She said it herself through tears.

Sindel was deeply disappointed. Kitana was scared- but still held on.

But Tanya? She grabbed onto her like no other before. She would not let anyone harm her again.

“Im a monster- please leave me be. I dont want to ruin you. I dont want to infect you.”

Tanya only cradles her even closer to her body. Even if it took a while, Mileena understood she meant her words of devotion towards her.

Maybe she didnt want to be her guard at first. But the way she cries into her shoulder, or smiles at her hugs, or allows herself to sleep next to her… she wants this. She wants Mileena.

And Mileena wants her.
