Workin on Redesigning Jackies Colorful version and Im stuck as hell on clorors to pic for their Hair. Tried a billion different ones but These 5 seemed to work best I think

Also also Redesigning Isaac as well as his Sister. The old story I had for them was okay but then I got a better idea that makes Isaac the irredeemable shit I wanted him to be originally!

Also this idea allows me to tie in the whole thing from the cannon creeps comic of everyone seeming to hate LJ. Only in PM I plan on it to be a bit different with Ragz. Mainly that they didn't really do anything but SOMEONE did.

A Hint on why Ragz may be heavily disliked.

here's some recent flubs + failures from the past month!

#my art #rotten yams #cursed yams #so out of three of these. two of them i fixed/redid #and one of them i just straight up abandoned #the one i straight up abandoned was the first one—it was a ponyo au doodle w/ yamato as fujimoto #naruto as ponyo. and sasuke as sosuke ofc. very silly au but my drawing felt too...off. idk what it was #naruto is climbing up a wall btw and yamato is standing on the ground below #the second one...as always i was inking something and accidentally whacked yamato with the side of my fist #and bc ink pools in dark spots like eyes. it wasnt dry yet. so. SPLAT! i gave him a black eye 😔#the final one.....it wasnt working. i redrew the whole thing and re contextualized it.#eventually it became the spooky story yamato comic for tendaysoftenzo #its funny that the first one is the one i abandoned because its the one out of these (even before i blacked yamatos eye) i liked the most #but it was just frustrating me to work on. either the idea isnt ready or im not ready but either way its fine #im always saying that if u get tired or upset or frustrated its ok to stop working + i do rlly mean that like. failures are okay #and theyre still valuable! u learn a lot of things thru failure #and its freeing to give up on a drawing knowing that if u want u can come back later #and i was happy to come back to the latter two. and im happy to abandon the first. it feels good

my hot take about descendants is that NONE of the core four were ready for a relationship until maybe like, the third movie (rant in tags)

#they were still adjusting to living life without struggling to survive #a girl should not be jumping into a relationship the same week she just tried her first piece of non-rotten food lol #thats not to say I don't like the canon ships #but mal married literally the FIRST man she met in auradon. at 18.#and even as far as in descendants 2 we see them still struggling to adjust in different ways (mainly mal)#in d3 they seem to have fully assimilated into life in Auradon (as much as a VK can anyway)#so it makes sense for them to THEN seek out relationships if that's what they want.#but disney ofc wanted to act like romantic love just automatically fixes a person's problems ig?? as if a relationship wouldn't just be #added stress given the position the VKs were in in d1 #not to mention dating just like. wasnt a thing on the isle (mal even says this)#and I get that the kids are craving to be loved because their parents didn't gaf about them. But I wish the first movie focused more on the #finding that love in each other than romantically with outside people. a sort of “they had love in them all along” moment.#and then this fandom loves to argue about whether Jarlos/Janelos was 'rushed'. at least Carlos (and Jay +lonnie) waited a few months before #throwing themselves into the dating scene. Poor evie had her heart broken within like 3 days of being in Auradon. no wonder she was willing #to help steal the wand lol.#Anyway to wrap up this rant I didn't even mean to go on #I just think that kids who have spent the first 14-16 years of their lives fighting to survive and being put through continuous trauma on a #daily basis don't need dating right away. they need THERAPY.#if anyone here has seen stranger things its kinda an El and Mike situation were its like. the girl grew up in a lab and fell for the first #boy in regular society who was kinda nice to her lol. thats how I view Mal and Ben #same with doug and evie. he was nicer than chad but he still fell for her for her looks and she still fell for him because he was the first #guy in auradon to be genuinely interested in her. also evie had a whole “I dont need a prince” arc and ended up with a man anyway?#my problem with janelos was always that Carlos never quite worked out his mommy issues or his anxiety. I feel like he'd be afraid of hurtin #her even though that boy wouldn't hurt a fly. and we see Jane get pretty stressed out herself- have you ever been in a relationship where #both of you have anxiety? cause it either goes really well (you help keep each other calm) or REALLY terribly (you make each other spiral)#I actually really liked Lonnie and Jay (though I feel like it would've had a bigger payoff if she was in d3. not sure why she wasn't but I #wont dunk on that because it couldve been smth to do with her actress). I think Lonnie is someone who can 'handle' Jay well and match his #energy. And I like the idea of Jay finding someone he's loyal to after being commitment-phobic for 1 1/2 movies and the whole first book lo #and ofc I have to throw this in here: any auradon kid the VKs get with is never going to grasp even half of what they went through.#this doesnt mean they can't try to understand and be empathetic. but it will always cast a shadow on VK/AK relationships.

Y'know it was REALLY goddamn evil and nefarious that the oil fields gave my mom (a single mom working 3 jobs to raise 2 kids) a single $5,000 check in exchange for her signing a nondisclosure to never complain about them.

Of course we fucking took the money. Even with her working 1 full-time job and 2 part-time jobs, she barely made over $1,000 a month. Of course she took the money. We though about moving but we still couldn't afford it. She was so frugal with it, though. It did give us a sliver of financial security for years.

But goddamn. $5,000 is table scraps to them, and they bought her silence with it because she couldn't refuse the chance to slightly lessen the weight of poverty on her family.

#sorenhoots #i remember i was like 11 or something. she didnt know if she should sign it. and its not like we had or knew any lawyers. she had ME read it #over and even i was like “this is a nondisclosure and it means you cant ever talk about anything they do even if they do something terrible”#i recall being very proud of myself for knowing what a NDA was. lord knows where my middle-school self learned that from. she did eventually #have a lawyer of some sort look over it and they said the same thing but.... $5000 #it wasnt an option for her. that was more money than wed ever had or saved. she had two kids who would need cars bc we lived so far in the #country. she knew i wanted to go to college. i dont think i ever saw her buy herself clothes before then either. it was money for emergencys #and necessities and birthday presents and road trips and... i often wondered about the person who offered us that. i wondered where they #lived and wondered how much their clothes costed and wondered if their kids got to have art or piano lessons. i wondered if their home was #over 80 degrees in the summer and under 60 in the winter and if they lived in a house that wasnt filled with dangerous spiders (we had nice #spiders too but we did also have Very Dangerous Spiders) and id picture him in his office in a button up and slacks and it would break my #heart that my mom couldnt have all of that. we just had a $5000 check and a vow to not complain.#she still feels earthquakes from it. less nowdays but still. and sometimee it still smells like a jar of hot petroleum jelly. and the attic #smell is worse than ever and the tap water smells like sulfur and wet mold #goddamn what the fuck? jesus christ. she should move.

i have overheard several other coworkers saying things that you should just never say to a person in a mental health crisis & while it's frustrating it does kind of kill the imposter syndrome I've been having lol. like I was stressed about not being able to do the job the way my amazing coworker does (diff coworker of course, she's so good at every aspect of the job, same age as me too so I was feeling quite inferior) but now that I've seen the way some of the other full time staff talk w/guests I'm feeling so much more confident in my own abilities. like I rly have potential to be great at this job.

#it helps that ive worked in the field before of course but i wasnt in crisis work then so its diff #i mean sometimes our members got rly upset & we had to deal with it. there was the knife attack too. but it was usually chill #w/this job every single person who comes in is either feeling suicidal homicidal or in a psychotic episode . we have apparently had ppl #bring guns in which is quite scary #a guy was murdered at my agency (diff location) a few yrs back so thats kind of always on my mind #i guess thats why they pay pretty well lol #asks

For the 4gb patch you have to click on the folder. Open the 4gb folder and then it will an app of some sort, I forgot the name, but if you double click it it will launch and then it will ask you to select an exe file. You go to the bin-ship dao folder in your documents and then there you will see an exe file called dao origins or dragon age origins. You click on it and then tick the box below the thingy that asks you to let your game use more than 2gbs and then press the confirm button and it should work I think.

I forgot to screenshot what popped up. What happened was, it was all happening like I was sayit it happened [was even writing a step by step so people could show me where I went wrong 😭/see what Im dealing with bc I thought I was explaining it badly].

But then this time when I clicked it, it said select exectuable but went to the Bin Ship rather than the 4gb patch folder. So I clicked origins and then it asked me something idr bc i was was so startled but I clicked okay. And then it left.

So IMA GO TRY! IMA LET YOU KNOW!
