Agender Rantaro thoughts?
This isn't even music related, what is happening
Do I personally have thoughts about agender Rantaro? Not particularly. I generally write him as a cis, although I think his thoughts on gender are "sushi rolls not gender rolls".
Can I see him being agender, though? Sure, that's not a stretch at all.
Uh.... take this Rantaro-adjacent song so I don't feel weird.

last one from me (hopefully!)
“I don´t get that anon. What is "BT shippers who claim to like Eddie, what kind of future do you envision for him if BT is endgame?" supposed to mean? First of, nobody has to "claim" anything. The implication here that people are only pretending to like Eddie is kind of odd.” – Well you see, I found it kind of shocking the way a heap of seemingly ride-or-die buddie shippers dropped buddie and eddie like a hot potato the second that a side character man with a questionable past kissed buck.
For one thing, there was relatively little fandom discussion about buck’s horrible behaviour toward eddie during 7x04 (which has been largely forgotten and glossed over). All anyone cared about from then on was BT and bi buck. Within days(?) of 7x04, people posted fics and spec about Eddie being homophobic when Buck comes out to him and tommy having to comfort buck, and about Eddie dying so that BT could raise Christopher together.
The rest of the season saw people generally posting about how Eddie’s a mentally unstable mess and a user and Buck should wash his hands of him and go be happy with Tommy etc. I remember BTs fanoning about Buck leaving Eddie in the kitchen in 7x09 to go to Tommy so Tommy can “f-ck him calm”. Etc.
You could say this is why I have trouble imagining BT shippers who also love Eddie, as most/all of what I’ve seen from BT shippers is general disparagement of and a lack of giving af about Eddie. Which is fine! You don’t have to care about him! But I was curious to know the perspective of BT shippers who apparently DO like Eddie and DO care about him. How do they picture Eddie will find happiness in the show? I was curious! I don’t get why it’s so shocking of me to ask questions in the hope of gaining a different perspective?
"Well you see, I found it shocking the way ride or die buddie shippers dropped buddie and Eddie like a hot potato the second that a side character with a questionable past kissed Buck" - signed, PURITY CULTURE
I'm sorry but AGAIN, PEOPLE ARE ALLOWED TO LIKE WHATEVER SHIP THEY WANT.
Why does it matter that people like a certain ship? THAT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. IF YOU ARE A RIDE OR DIE BUDDIE STAN, THEN THATS OKAY! IF OTHER PEOPLE LIKE BUDDIE AND BUCKTOMMY- THATS ALSO OKAY! WHY IS THAT SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND?????
I know it's hard to believe but y'all buddie stans DON'T have a monopoly on shipping 911 characters! And btw, most people who were buddie fans, actually do like Bucktommy. And haven't stopped loving Eddie as a character.
AND AGAIN-
Tommy's past no longer became questionable the moment he reconciled his relationship with Hen and Chim. Hen and Chim throwing him a farewell party with cake doesn't not excuse what he did, but it nullifies ANY notion that he was a "questionable" character. Chimney calling on Tommy to put out the burning house, ultimately saving Eddie's life, makes him a friend the 118 could rely on. Tommy coming in clutch when the 118 needed to rescue Bobby and Athena, makes him a trusted friend who Hen and Chimney put their faith in. Eddie immediately taking a liking to him, Bobby telling Buck that "Tommy's good people & they didnt have to talk about it" meant that Bobby trusts him. All of these HARDLY renders him a questionable character.
Also, "BT shippers not giving af about eddie"??? Really? Because from what I've seen, a MAJORITY of buddie stans actually dgaf about Eddie. They bulldoze over his character and make everything that happens to him, somehow related to Buck. If he makes a new friend, or has an interest in someone like Kim or, he's remembering Shannon and how he's still broken over her, buddie stans make it all about Buck and buddie.
Eddie has barely been given the luxury of growing as a character outside of Buck because all y'all are concerned with, is buddie.
And the problem with you asking about how and why BT shippers who do like Eddie envision a future for him, was that you asked it in bad faith. The number of toxic BT stans is OUTWEIGHED excessively by toxic buddie stans who make it their business to be INSUFFERABLE about buddie in EVERYTHING the 911 fandom does. Bottom line, yall hate seeing Buck with anyone but Eddie. It would be better to just admit this rather than trying to disparage Tommy's character who has totally been absolved and reconciled in the canon.

What does the neutral mean?
Heyo Anon, this is not specifically targeted at you, okie╰(*°▽°*)╯
I will answer you and others for this post. 👌
[Neutral shipper: Typically refers to someone who does not want to participate in proship versus antiship discourse. Can be considered 'proship' by default to some.]
Quoted off from This Carrd -> SHIPPING GLOSSARY
Now, this is for all the other anonymous in my inbox that keep asking me "what I am", "who I am part of", and "why I call myself Neutral."
I deleted those asks since; I will be answering y'all questions here.
First off, it felt funny/weird being asked "What am I?" Like lmao. I'm just Rue/Ruth, I draw :3 I like Undertale, I'm tryna learn how to socialize better and improve my art, so wassup.✨o(*^▽^*)┛
This post is meant for those who are open-minded and respectful plz and thank you. (^^ゞ)
Long Wordy Personal Post Below
(CW/TW regarding ships, I curse a bit sorry)
None of this is meant to offend nor dismiss anyone’s opinion, experiences, or feelings. Understand, this is just my rambling and thoughts. I'm also not calling out anyone! AND PLZ do not harass anyone from the links.
Some of my quick research:
-> SHIPPING GLOSSARY -> so what does ‘ship-neutral’ actually mean? -> 👑yorse backyorse friends the backyorsigans🐝 — Sad how "proship is the neutral side" is kind of... -> Proship, at it's very core, is a combination of four general principles-- -> Proship is, at the very core, very simple! -> Curating your online and fandom experience includes: -> They have links about "Fiction and Reality" -> Other short discussion on Proship
I am usually not one for drama or negative vibes, but it would be nice if I can stop getting asks pertaining to proshipping and anti-shippers.
And the fact I'm okay and Welcoming to ALL is really because I am Neutral, my personal thought process has always been, "I do not wish to bother nor be bothered."
I am told/warned by very close peers, I am quite desensitized or apathetic to things, but it's due to some personal trauma I will not discuss publicly for my safety. It's one of the reasons I don't care to bother with troublesome things. Dw I'm working on it and healing.
This means "this" will be the first and only big important post I make regarding this topic.
And if I happen to be a bother, plz tell me or do block, and unfollow me okay, for your sake. ╯︿╰
I do not have a dni for many reasons. Though the main bare minimum I shouldn't even ask of anyone is to just be nice, respectful, kind and open-minded. I will not tolerate harassment, insults, or threats around me or for those around me.
Anyway, the Proshipper and Antishipper community arguments are bothersome but is quite an entertaining read.
We all have our own opinions, thoughts, view etc, if you actually don't like something, then just stay far far away from what you find/consider problematic. And you'll see life is so much calmer.
I for one am living as satisfied as I can.
I am a simple person. I just like art and doing/making what I like such as exploring Undertale content, creating fanart for friends, conversing about OCs and AUs, participating in DTIYS, all that fun exciting stuff! I get to know others; I get to draw more and improve on myself! Win-win! ♪(^∇^*)
Tumblr is my first ever social media when I turned 18, literally 2023, last year. I anxiously decided when I became an adult, I can finally do instagram, discord, tumblr, etc, to share my art because I am usually a nervous wreck both irl & online.
Yeah, internet still paranoids me, but I'm getting though it cause school requires me to. *sigh*
(Uh. to my friends, reading this, that I've bothered multiple times to help me use sites and my phone/computer, 😭 you cool, also sorrysorrysorrysorrysorry) My bad. 👌Y'all patience is immaculate.
So, I for one am not knowledgeable about, well, "the internet" as others may be at my age. I never knew the art community had more issues other an ai, art theft, and tracing, like whoa.
So lemme tell you something, when I was recently first confronted about if I was a proshipper, I went to research, and there's not a way I can word this nicely, but "I do not care what other people think, like, do or say" especially on the internet, unless it's being shoved down my throat forcibly, but you know what, no one can exactly do that online, since I and everyone else has the power to block, unfollow and curate their own internet experience respectfully.
And if you can't, I insist you take care/be kind to yourself and chill off your device OR learn how to block certain people, content labels and tags, etc y'know.
And a dni list might sometimes not be read, personal experience:
I happened to accidentally disrespect a friend's dni list because at the time I didn't know I was a person that had opinions that were against what their thoughts/views were and didn't know/realize that they had an issue with "Fiction doesn't affect reality." Purely accidental, they were one of the first asks and friends I made, so I followed without reading their blog thoroughly cause I was just happy to make more Undertale friends. And didn't know if I should randomly disappear from them, up until they confronted me about it. Anyway, I think that issue was solved, hopefully.
Now I have friends who were proshippers, friends that are nice antis, friends in-between and friends that are neutral like me. And those I still consider Friends who have blocked and unfollowed me.
Along with some who didn't wish to hear me out and decided to make their vile assumptions of me, and others who were kind and open enough to listen to my own words and remain a dear friend.
Being Neutral to me is not having a strong enough opinion for or against. Cause not all proshippers are badshit mental, not all anti-shippers are death threatening fancop messengers, and not all neutrals are hypocritical.
Something around those lines. Btw, I enjoy platonic ships for the most part, also consent and boundaries is highly important in my book. I do not support sick shit and know just because someone is associated with people who draw that, doesn't mean they support it, I for one know my reality and know where fiction stays fiction. That's my opinion and thoughts. If you can't differentiate and you let something like fiction rule your life in a bad way, I hope you work on yourself more and be kind to yourself. 😔 I had a moment of struggle like that after going through certain experiences, until I learned and disciplined myself to not give a flying fuck anymore. Cause I found it to be very draining and stupid to keep dwelling on it. Now I don't get triggered easily for my well-being! Inner Peace type shit! 👈(゚ヮ゚👈)
Also, regarding the frans question cause of the ask about the "Sooner or Later You're Gonna Be Mine" post I made a few days earlier. Uh yeah, as long as characters are being depicted as adults, it also applies to aging up a child canon character, then it's fine, both are depicted as adults. That's their view, their drawing, their writing, their thoughts. And I will respect them for depicting their ship as adults if that's what it is.
In my opinion, I'm just glad they didn't do child x adult stuff in the frans ship in their fanfic. And even if they did, I'd cringe then just scroll off far far away and not bother with it anymore for my mental. OR I can just easily, replace the characters I'm reading on, with my own characters. I wouldn't spread hate nor harass anyone over it for being problematic. Cause I don't wanna bother, they probably get enough shit from others anyway, cause many types of people exist whether we like it or not.
I had someone tell me in a discussion once, where in their Undertale AU and drawings, their Frisk was an adult, and just know there's people out in the world that have a version of Frisk that ages with them, and is their specified identity despite canon Frisk being a nonbinary human, and that's their choice, not my business fr. Also, another talk with a friend, was that it was weird you'd still see an aged-up Frisk as a child, I dunno if this makes sense, but you view them as a child, despite them being drawn as an adult as depicted in certain frans drawings, that's odd, I guess and it was funny they told me, and I summarize quote them, "That means adults can't have romance(seggs)! We are basically aged-up children!" -So anyway, either you're protective of canon frisk and you simply can't see them in other's people's respective view or you just something else I dunno.
When I see a ship, I don't like, my way to view it is just replacing the characters in my head and scrolling off, simple. Well simple for me. I'm not sure about y'all? I'm in my head a lot, so I have a lot of imaginative power up there lol.
And my favorite color blue and green-ish blue. (✿◡‿◡)
Hopefully, I answered most of the asks. IF anyone needs some clarification, just be open minded and do you own research, go explore, don't just listen to close friends' opinions, have fun and discover your own opinions. That's how I gain my own perspective on many Undertale ships deemed common/problematic and being a Neutral. Understand, definitions are skewed overtime, find more than one source, learn from others, and then decide your own views.
This whole thing ain't mean to change your views or anything.
I'm not sure if I missed anything. I don't wanna proofread this again. This was tiresome to make. ╯︿╰ If I worded something wrong, comment it or something I will try to clear it up later perhaps.
I apologize to those who's view of me changed due to this post. Really sorry.
In conclusion, you do you, I do me, peace. (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)

Y'all I'm - I'm so tired y'all
I get this often. It's understandable. I've said a lot in the past of how I believe no canonical age that can be proven - the same way there's hundreds of characters who's sexuality or nationality can't be proven.
But the problem is people saying things likes this and feeling no need whatsoever to back themselves up.
Hobie Has No Age, Stop Giving No Evidence.
[a SHORT RANT about the lack of evidence and sourcing within fandom - and the Hobie age discussion]
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I genuinely believe you can headcanon him at any reasonable age (as in not 42 or 12 or something).
The problem with this is saying something like this as if it's definitive fact then making no attempt to back up your argument isn't helpful, okay, or appropriate.
In any context.
And it happens everywhere in fandom. All the time.
By saying things like this, or even stating objective facts about the world without backing yourself up with evidence, means you expect others to take you at face value with no additional questioning.
Which you should never encourage others to do. Which no one should ever do.
Once again, I believe you can headcanon Hobie at any age. I genuinely do not care.
I think he's 19-20.
I have evidence for why I think this.
Does this evidence mean I am 100% correct on his age and that I have the right to tell people otherwise?
No. Because it hasn't been confirmed.
But if you're going to tell me my stance is wrong, you have to be ready to engage with every single one of my evidence points so I can understand why it's wrong. You will have to present you own evidence, and defend it.
So often people will say an assertion objectively like this - and then immediately expect the other person to defend themselves.
Even though they haven't even defended their argument to begin with.
You don't walk up to someone and ask their name before you say yours.
You don't walk up to someone and demand their argument/rebuttal or submission to your opinion, without even stating the entirety of the opinion first.
This is something that is so common in this specific conversation - but it goes WAY outside if the realm of the ATSV fandom or even fandom in general.
If you state fact, an opinion, a rebuttal, a criticism, what have you - please back yourself up.
And I mean with screenshots and dialogue and gifs if you gotta.
In all subjects. All topics of all degrees.
I don't think Hobie has a canonical age.
I do think Hobie is around 19-20, in my interpretation. I have evidence that makes be confident and sound in my decision to write him as such.
And I think everyone holds the individual right to make such an interpretation for themselves.
But if you wish to engage someone else on how they interpret Hobie - engage them fully. Back yourself up.
Do not expect them to reply apologizing to you - because let's be honest. I feel like that's what y'all want and expect.
That when you say a one line statement like it's objective fact with no follow up, the expectation is for the other person to be like
'Sorry, I didn't know! I'll edit/take the post down now :) thanks for telling me'
Because really, what other answer can you give? Just saying 'Hobie is a minor' and nothing more leaves only two options: accept what they're saying as fact or defend yourself on why you think he isn't.
Y'all genuinely do not expect to be questioned.
ABSOLUTELY NOT - You better speak into the mic!!
Tumblr media
Come with screenshots and script lines. And if you can't - Then it isn't true. And it isn't definite.
I will almost never accept something on face value without getting at least some form evidence from a reputable source. And I say almost because we all fuck up, but ideally I' m striving for never.
I've already stated in the past why I think this conversation is absolutely fruitless.
But if you want to engage in it regardless - or engage in any fandom discourse - Engage with it fully.
If you're going to engage me, engage with me fully. I'm completely open to talking about it and looking over any evidence you have.
But saying things like
- Well I know young people who look like him-
- I know young people who act like him-
- People are making him look older-
- He most likely has a fake ID-
None of that is evidence.
All of that is pure speculation. And there is a stark difference between justification and evidence.
If your justification isn't coming from the source material - the script, movie, or writers - it isn't evidence or proof.
You can use that justification to root your own interpretation - but once you make the assertion that he definitively is or isn't (which can't be proven) - at the very least, the burden is on you to provide evidence that is sufficient.
Doing stuff like this is so unhelpful.
Multiple times have I seen people ask how old Hobie is and someone will reply '17🥰' and the other person will be like 'okay thanks!!'
And I'm like '????????'
So that's it huh ... yous just... not gonna ask no follow up questions? we done here?
Tumblr media
And the chain reaction just continues.
Not I, Not I! I'd rather die - for in these streets, you niggas lie.
Hobie has no canonical age or sexuality or heritage. He doesn't have a canonical middle name either.
Yet, people desperately try to make a definitive assertion on only one of those things - for the benefit of nothing but their own shipping -
And then they don't provide evidence.
Always ask for evidence.
In person too. I will speak from experience people get offended when you ask them "Where'd you hear that," or "Can I have a source, please? Text me a link." or "What's your proof?"
They take it as a question of authority or a lack of trust.
And maybe it is. Doesn't matter and I don't care. Questioning authority and not going off blind trust is good, I thought that's what we were told to do.
I find this so ironic to talk about right now - because just yesterday @layz-chipz (they're great check them out) was talking about potentially making a video essay about the Hobie age discourse, the futility of it and the fragility of the arguments.
And I can say it's a video that's sorely needed (no pressure though!) and a conversation that has unnecessarily dominated the community and conversation for way too goddamn long.
It needs to be - in the words of Hobie Brown - SQUASHED.
and to reiterate and make it clear - My issue it's not with people who think he's underage or a minor. Or people who do so without evidence.
My issue it's people asserting something, and then not supporting it directly after said assertion.
Hobie wouldn't like that. Hobie would want you to cite your sources. Or mind your business. Oh and-
IMO Hobie as of right now has no canonical age.
And if you read this far I love you
Anyway here's a really high res photo of Hobie and a meme i have no other place to use 😭😭

I really love your paintings! I was curious if you wouldn't mind, could you show your process and tips for oil painting?
Thanks for asking! I had gone and taken progress photos while working on my recent painting of Hickey: hopefully this is enough to walk you through a general idea of how I complete a painting, or at least an Alla Prima (single ~3 hour session) portrait. It's a chaotic process, especially in the beginning, but a lot of fun. I want to start first by saying that this isn't exactly a tutorial, just a showing of how I work. I also want to say that if you are starting out with oil painting, you should be painting from LIFE when possible, rather than from photos. Only thing is, in my case, I cannot wrangle Adam Nagaitis into my room, so photos it is, when it comes to fandom work. Anyways...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Step 0. Brushes, paints, etc. I use sizes between 12-4, though I usually stick to 8 and 4 for most of my painting. Boar bristle brushes are great. For the paints, I'm using the Zorne palette: cadmium red, yellow ochre, titanium white, mars black. That's it. I don't bother to clean my palette between paintings, I usually mix new paint over what's there. Bad habit? Probably.
Tumblr media
Step 1. Sketching over another sketch you don't like (clean canvas who??) Yes, this looks like a nightmare. Yes, you aren't really supposed to do this. Typically, I start my paintings on a clean TONED canvas, meaning solvent + a neutral transparent paint so it's not just a pure-white ground. In my next process post I'll show this. However, if I'm lazy and forgot to prepare surfaces, then I'll paint over an older piece I don't like. This was a failed cast study (on primed paper, so I can cut it later) that is now being repurposed into a cold boy. Can you see Hickey? My sketching is usually done with a transparent dark (in this case, alizarin crimson + mars black) and solvent to thin it out. This is slightly more sketching than I would typically do. Main structure lines to focus on are the angles for the eyes and nose, and then the centerline for the face as a whole. You can use a caliper to check proportions at this stage.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Step 2. Block in! With some paintings I'll block in the darks first, others I do the lights first. In this case, I started with the lights. The block-in stage for me consists of 2-3 values only. Dark and light. He looks scary. Goofy, even. You can see that the anatomy of the block-in is pretty bad, but that slowly gets corrected as the painting progresses.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Step 3. Added in the dark background, because it was getting difficult for me to judge the values of the painting with that pesky cast portrait in the background. Typically this isn't an issue when you're painting on a proper surface, lol. I also added his rosy cheeks in on this stage. I love painting from those outdoor scenes, because everyone has bright pink cheeks :)
Tumblr media
Step 4. "Oh thank god, he has eyes now." I continue modeling the portrait by using intermediate values and highlights to round out the "planes" of the face. These planes are not that obvious in this particular painting, as the reference photo had very soft, ambient lighting. Always squint when looking at your reference to make sure you don't overstate shadows, especially in a case like this. I've also decided to leave the periphery of the face (hair, clothes, etc) very unfinished, almost untouched. Personal preference!
Tumblr media
Step 5. Take care of some drawing mistakes. Here I am scraping away some paint from the forehead, since I realized the hat was up too high. A palette knife is excellent for taking care of this.
Tumblr media
Step 6. Call it quits before you start overworking it too much :) I'll varnish this in a few weeks. Thanks for getting through to the end! I'll post more progress timelines in the future, as my process looks a little different depending on what I'm working on. Feel free to reach out if y'all have any questions.

(I loved your dead boy detectives game!)
Hey just read your tags and I totally agree with you with you— in every fandom I have been in, there’s at least one major fanon character interpretation that feels like a misinterpretation to me. So that being said, I don’t think it’s inherently bad to make a post with different evidence, because that’s what makes fandom fun! It also might be a relief to other people who also weren’t into the earlier meta analysis. I think where it gets hairy are the little comments like “everyone who disagrees with me is bad/dumb/stupid” that get tacked on at the end, or direct references to people who like other characters or ships all being malicious. There’s just no need for that, and I’ve seen it a lot in the past few days from some folks. :/
Games and general analysis spread a lot of positivity though! That’s what keeps fandom alive and makes people feel like they’re part of the fun. Thanks again for starting that ask game.
Actually, I started that ask game specifically to meet people!
Big fandoms are usually riddled with ppl who annoy one another, so my strategy is usually to *start* in the tag so I can block any blogs that would stop me from having fun with fandom, and whittle it down to a mutuals group so I can eventuality just use my dash instead.
I decided to use a mixture of surface, deep, and canon-irrelevant questions in order for others who use it to see multiple types of answers that blogs might not post otherwise, and realize which blogs they like. I think asking questions someone might not think to make a post on otherwise can be very revealing. Ask engagement is a really fun way to make friends here!
I think there are definitely points where mischaracterization can be malintended or even just accidentally harmful- reducing characters to either just their actions or just their circumstance runs the risk of stereotyping them or romanticizing/demonizing their behaviors, neither of which makes fandom a fun or accommodating form of socializing. Personally I take a non-confrontational approach and try to narrow my interaction, but I really don't know how to make fandom safer in general. I don't want to waste time on people who don't care, but it is hard to tell the difference between people who will and won't listen until you spend time asking!
Part of why it is difficult (for me) to make that distinction is fandom language. "ship" is a big one! When people "ship" a pairing, I don't know whether they mean it is interesting, whether they want it to be canon, whether or not they think it is healthy, whether they think it is already implied, or some other meaning, all of which change how and if I'd interact with them- and making fandom friends is part of why I'm here! I don't really have a solution here either, but it is pretty hard to navigate and pretty easy to get lost 'round these parts.
It's also hard to tell with popular fanon if people *know* it's fanon
Anyways, half of that was totally irrelevant to the ask bc I got into a tangent, but basically thanks for visiting my blog, even if you don't stay long! Have fun with fandom ! <2
(And one last hot tip! I mentioned going into the main tag before finding the blogs y'all like, but character tags, art/fic/meta-specific tags, and ship tags will tailor more to your taste!)

This is a rant about JoJo fans' emotional intelligence, "reading comprehension", and "can't 'Just Listen to the Song'.
To all those who chose to read this rant, hello. I'm miniminininiminim. Honestly, this was supposed to be for content for my alternate account (as a Vtuber). I'm also scared of the sexism and racial things going on ( I know I know these things are light for you for some people but the amount of being scared of things isn't always the same for different people right?). Please, Please, Please take this with a grain of salt again this isn't a generalization of people in the fandom nor the totality of the fandom itself. You can always love the series on your own or not interact with the fandom's likes, dislikes, rants, etc. I do not have any relations with Araki (though my bloodline is also fucked up due to colonization) so any of the "this is said by Araki" are from the interviews, and written works of him I read online. This is my opinion as a reader, writer, and fan (slightly).
For those people who are just passing through, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (which is a fancy way of telling JoJo's Strange Adventures they actually changed it to Bizarre) is a manga series that was released on Shounen Jump and eventually Seinen in which the demographic of the readers might also affect the plot as it is released. (Much like any novels ya read *coughs looks over Twilight who have drafts that were totally removed from the book*). Thank you for reading this anyway. And have multiple parts that is run by one generation much like your typical government (just kidding).
Tumblr media
This is a simple plot. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure's doesn't need to be complex. It doesn't need to have strings all over. Much like fairy tales and short stories. I think even without the other parts (if Mr. Araki stopped from part 1) this very much stands on its own. Although you can say that oh Part 5 is just a simple story of a person who is a descendant of Dio Brando. There will be some tiny questions here and there if the watcher/reader can't turn their brain off for a while (although honestly we sometimes need to do that cause sometimes in fiction there are different morals that are standard in society in the fictional world). Like who the hell is Dio Brando? Like even if you ask this on Part 3 y'all still get questions that only Part 1 can answer. Questions like: "Where did that wrath from Dio come from?" "Is he always that prideful?"
The audience for Phantom Blood isn't made for audiences during this time. If Araki had done it today it would have changed some things.
Tumblr media
As a reader, I appreciate the background stories and details that weren't mentioned in the anime. It gave a sense of more background on why Dio's blood boils over Danny (just to mention one instance).
Being a watcher, it still gave a smooth thing as a SIMPLE story (again a story needed not to have all strings of reasoning/plot to be a story). But with the change in media and of course what is being served, the preferences of the consumers also change. I had an experience of a person arguing with me in a TikTok video I posted and they bragged they read all the parts and said they've read it more than me (which is slightly insulting but like I don't take it to heart) and that David Productions didn't cut scenes. I understood the cut scenes reduce the budget but I still hope that people would have read it without any cuts. It fills more gaps and gives some characters even more character like Erina's growth of being careful, Jonathan's likes and dislikes, etc.
But then again it will always depends on the willingness of the individual person.
In the plot, all I can say is what may be good for now doesn't mean it'll be good in the eyes of the future people.
Look Part 1 isn't my favorite part but I can truthfully say as a simple story (for a later than planned as a trilogy (yes it is only supposed to end on Part 3) this is a good short origin story/prologue.
People often criticize a hamon as boring or something but always remember that Araki is just starting to this kind of system (well he did some like Gorgeous Irene and the one with Poker on its title). And when you read Part 7 it is still tied to the nature that was brought up in Part 1 with of course the system that people now enjoy cause it is visual (hah, I'm really tired from this shit- Like why- why do you need to be always be drawn when- hah anyways I understand- I understand- there are different kinds of learners(I studied that shit in school).
I understand.
I completely understand. We have different opinions.
This is honestly taking all my energy.
See these types of learning are different. And these might be the issues these part truthers face.
And then back to the emotional content.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
If I were to tell you this the first time I read the JoJo manga. I would have told you their background stories were the same but it was slightly twitched.
No one understood them as a kid and even outcasted. Then they eventually found their own family, ambition/goal and place.
See?
I can concise their story with that. But when you think about it some people like Tenmei "Noriyaki" Kakyoin more than Giorno "Haruno Shiobanna" Giovanna.
It is because again of the demographic and the personal experiences. We can never like something if we can't relate to them and we cannot dislike something just because we cannot relate to them. Ya, get me? It is based on the preferences of people.
But there is something to think about this. The lack of emotional empathy is just giving: "Oh this guy is powerful uh must have a tragic story and must be the reason why they're trying to huhuhu ugh wait- wait I don't care about that- I only care about the plot/power (or literally whatever)" Like bitch the fuck- Concise-ing a character just because of their power is an insult to the writer (maybe it's just what I believe).
I'm just kidding do whatever the fuck ya want. We ball.
But reducing Giorno, and Jolyne to just they did nothing?
Ya know, there is a thing called law of inertia.
"an object or mass will remain either at rest or in motion in the same direction, unless acted upon by an unbalanced force"
I think it applies to these characters.
If it wasn't for Giorno, Bruno Bucciarati would have succumbed to his grief and can't do anything. Same with the other members. That's why it's golden wind ya know. People always say that Bruno is the mom of the group. I see Giorno as the one who filled the gaps that Bruno forgot. An instance is when Narancia got scolded, Giorno pointed out the brighter side of it. Fugo understands that Giorno isn't the kind of man who just spewed out words. (Hello JoJolands fans! I know you've read this kind of line from Dragona to Jodio).
Literally me when my brain is actually braining and I thought I cooked:
Tumblr media
Jolyne became also a catalyst with the arrow as a tool to make the characters gather of course with different missions they wanted to achieve in life.
Emotional empathy and reading comprehension may work together in a story. If you understand the plot, and the characters then you should understand the emotions and feelings that are shown in the story itself. A person may have strong reading comprehension skills and fully understand the plot and characters without experiencing a deep emotional connection to the story. If one lacks the other that doesn't mean the person who doesn't have one component doesn't also mean they cannot do the other thing.
Having empathy isn't a forced thing nor it is innate to us neither reading comprehension. We might and may not experience it cause it is indeed subjective, and also reliant on our whole totality as a person.
Much like Araki's works being interpreted like how the song from "Just Listen to the Song" a manga by Mr. Fujimoto was interpreted to different things such as political message etc. when it is just a song intended for the person he likes. Mr. Araki's works could be interpreted as political messages when it'll come out as an anime shortly or a religious message/threat. And now when JoJoland came out the scene where Dragona is being sexually harassed or the scene where Jodio calls Dragona "he". The people would impulsively react to these without even rereading considering the culture is different from that of the West. Impulsivity leads to misunderstandings and overanalyzing might lead to different truths the author never thought about opinions happen.
Araki once said that he didn't thought that his art in Part 3 predicting an incident in America (if you know ya know). I myself as an author have written stuff that I was surprised cause it became true but I didn't think of it that much when writing I just thought about "the reality".
We don't overthink. Then again interpretations will always be different no matter how we said no.
I'm getting philosophical gee
Being ignorant to these things that i mentioned about is a good way but then again ignorance isn't always a bliss. This is merely my opinion. I decided to declutter my mind. And I honestly thought I'd lose my shit and get whole ass angry when writing this. I'm slightly calmer hahah.
But like I hope ya get me.
My opinions may or may not change tomorrow or in the future but then again. This is my opinions for now.
Thank you so much for reading this. I'm honestly sleepy writing this. I need some peace of mind. Please consider reading these stories, and always keep an open mind for different opinions. Thank you for reading my yappings.
Sorry for the grammatical errors, I'm not a native English speaker.

20 Questions for Fic Writers
Got tagged by @somewhereapart, and I figured y'all may be sick of seeing me just post fic so here ya go.
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
88
2. What's your total AO3 word count?
305,612
3. What fandoms do you write for?
AO3 tells me I've written for Battlestar Galactica, Buffy, General Hospital, Law & Order: SVU, Law & Order: OC, Lie To Me, Stargate: Atlantis, Stargate SG-1, and The West Wing. And I honestly can't think of any others outside of just ficlets I've tossed into the wild over the years.
4. What are your top five fics by kudos?
Flinktober 2022 (EO, SVU/OC)
i remember skies (EO, SVU/OC)
gala (EO, SVU/OC)
bizarre love triangle (EO, SVU/OC)
Chautauqua (EO, SVU/OC)
I did not include one that was cowritten with a bunch of other people because I will always assume the kudos are for them.
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
As often as possible. If someone takes the time to comment, I want them to know that i care enough to acknowledge and thank them for that kindness and effort. Especially when I write mostly for a fandom where I've seen people specifically state that they will read works but NOT comment on them as some sort of punishment for whatever random/imaginary fandom sins the writer whose free content they are enjoying has committed. That's just dumb and unkind, so I make the effort to let people know their comments are appreciated, even if it takes weeks to circle back.
6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Hmmm. There are several chapters in the first flink posting that would qualify, but I'm going to go with my largest Sam/Jack (SG-1) fic, Gravity Sings. It's hard to pretend it's not angsty when you've literally killed off half the planet.
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Hmm. Not really sure. I'm a sucker for fluffy endings, so I tend to write them quite a bit. Maybe waltz or Chautauqua?
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Occasionally, but I shut it down quickly. If you come up in someone's space where someone is providing you free entertainment and be rude? Don't expect a pass from me about it. The scroll bar isn't difficult to use, and neither is the back button. I use it frequently on poorly-written works or things that may be well-written but just aren't my thing. What I don't do is sling entitlement issues around demanding things be written to my satisfaction (unless you employ my beta services, in which case, you asked for it!). :D
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
I never really did prior to the first flink experiment, and I created that experiment purely to practice writing smut. Well, I take that back. @rgrdsalxndra would be the first to remind me I'd often cockblock Elliot and Olivia by having them dream-smutting without real-life release. But I started that project with the express purpose of getting better and more comfortable with writing smut, so I'm making that the hinge point.
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
Because SVU and OC are different shows, I write them regularly. But if you mean out-of-universe crossovers, I've only really written one, R.E.M. (SGA, BSG, Buffy). It was based on a prompt from an LJ friend, "Elizabeth Weir, Kara Thrace, and Buffy Summers walk into a bar..."
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I'm aware. There are much better people out there to steal from. Also, I always assume if something is similar to what I've written, it's because fandom truly does become a hivemind at some point. Nothing new under the sun and all.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Not that I'm aware. If I had to guess, I'd say Gravity Sings would be the most likely candidate since SG-1 fandom is probably the most global and that fic has been around much longer than any other likely candidates.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Wrote Wet Dream with much better smut writers than myself in a group chat, and a bunch of us in SG-1 fandom way back in the day once built an SG-1 AU loosely based on The Big Bang Theory called The House That Jack Built, and I have several entries in that little universe.
14. What's your all-time favorite ship?
How does anyone pick this??? I love them all for different reasons. I will say EO has a grip on me nobody else ever has, but then they have that 25 year slow burn that is just absolutely and sickly delicious.
15. What's the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Glazed and Fired (SGA) was originally the first part of a 5 Things fic that got away from me, and I had always intended to go back and finish it but eventually just put it away for good. I fully intend to finish my others (Skies, I'm looking at you).
16. What are your writing strengths?
Grammar. Economy of language (this is also sometimes a weakness). Getting into the head of characters who are typically very closed off.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
I feel my writing is way too mechanical. I'm also still not comfortable writing smut. I always walk around with a sense of imposter syndrome with my writing.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
I'm literally one class shy of a degree in French, and I had to write many upper level term papers in that language, but let me assure you I have zero plans to ever write in another language. I sincerely applaud those of you who do.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Stargate SG-1
20. Favorite fic you've ever written?
Geez. It probably changes regularly, and I'm hesitant to say because my faves are never anyone else's. all i ever wanted (a rather dark Elliot-centric fic) holds a very dear spot in my heart just because of how my muse just grabbed a keyboard and churned it out. This is not a popular opinion, and hardly anyone read it, but I still love it a lot. And just because it was the first fic I wrote that was widely recc'd, I have a soft spot for Things Not Dreamed (SG-1), a Sam & Jack & Daniel fic written from Daniel's POV.
tagging in a no-pressure way (and sorry for any double tags):
@morethanwords229, @whatbecomesofyou, @samwrites99, @rgrdsalxndra, @shut-upjohn, and anyone else who wants to do it!

Do you have any thoughts on the use of AAVE for Nile (or lack thereof) in TOG fanfiction? I've been reading some Book of Nile fic and some writers seem to write her as a Millennial™ (using words like "fave" and "woke") but never acknowledge her Blackness in her patterns of speech. I know we don't see her use as much AAVE in the films, but I would argue she's in situations where code-switching would be valued (first in a "professional" environment in the army, then around a group of non-Black strangers).
Hi anon! I have many thoughts on this and I'm honored you asked me! But I should start by saying I'm white and any thoughts Black fans and especially Black American fans have on this that they want to share would be beyond lovely. (I'm not gonna tag anybody bc that feels rude but please add onto this post if any of y'all see this and want to!)
The main reason I personally avoid AAVE for Nile in my own fics is because I'm not Black. But Nile-centric fics by Black writers tend to avoid using much of it too, at least from what I've noticed/understood, and my guess is it's largely for the reason you mention, that she's in situations that encourage code-switching.
In movie canon Nile is highly competent at tailoring her language to each situation she finds herself in. This fantastic linguistics analysis meta shows how skillfully Nile chooses her vocabulary and grammar to meet her goals with different conversation partners in different contexts. In comics canon Nile had a bunch of different civilian jobs before joining the Marines, so she would've had experience code-switching in the ways that made sense for all those different contexts as well as the Marines and her family and high school and wherever else she spent her time before we met her. And now she's spending her time with a handful of immortals none of whom are native English speakers and a fellow Black American but one with a Queen's English UK accent whose professional experience is in the CIA where high-status code-switching is often an absolute must for success or even survival.
Fics featuring Nile are charged with extrapolating from that to how it might show up in her use of language that she's coping with a traumatic separation from her family and her career and pretty much everything she's ever known and now she needs to be able to make herself understood to people who seem to care about her and each other but are super duper in crisis, three (soon to be four) of whom predate Modern English entirely and the only one who's anywhere near her contemporary she's not supposed to talk to for a century. All of these people are telling her that pretty much any contact with any mortals poses an existential threat to her and the rest of the group. How the FUCK is she supposed to cope with that, like, generally? And would it be a more effective way for her to cope if she talked to Andy Joe and Nicky using the speech patterns that she used to use with her mom and brother, to at least retain that part of her identity even if it means having to do a lot of explaining, or would it meet her needs better to prioritize Andy Joe and Nicky understanding what she means with her words over using the particular words and grammar forms she used with her family?
I've seen several fics, both Nile-centric / BoN and otherwise, explore this a little bit in how/whether Nile uses Millennial™ speak. It's often a theme in Nile texting Booker despite the exile because of the popular headcanon that he as The Tech Guy is the only other immortal who understands memes. But Nile's much-younger-than-Booker mom probably uses Boomer and/or Gen X memes and Andy has been adapting to new communication styles for forever as evidenced by her canon high level of fluency with standard-American-accented English.
Which brings us back to people avoiding AAVE because they're not Black and they don't want to make mistakes (or they're not Black and they don't want to get yelled at for making mistakes, though I think many people overestimate how much they'll get yelled at while underestimating how much these mistakes can hurt). I can imagine some Black fans hold back from using much AAVE in fic because they don't want to share in-group stuff with white people who are likely to then adopt and ruin it, as white people so often do with Black cultural stuff. Some links about this including a great Khadija Mbowe video. I'm saying this gently, anon, because you might not know: woke, an example you cited as Millennial™ speak, is AAVE, and that's gotten erased by so many white people appropriating it and using it incorrectly online.
And also there's the part where fandom is a hobby and you never know when you're reading a fic that's the very first thing someone's ever written outside of a school assignment. This cultural considerations of language shit takes a level of effort and skill that not everybody puts into every fic, or even could if they wanted to because they haven't had time to build their skills yet. It's definitely easier for non-Black fans to project our millennial feels onto Nile than to do the layers of research and self-reflection it requires to depict what Blackness might mean to Nile, and it's not surprising that often people sharing their hobby creations on the internet have gone the easier route. There's not even necessarily shame in doing what's easier. It's just frustrating and often hurtful when structural white supremacy means that 3-dimensional Black characters are rare in media and thoughtful explorations of them in fandom are seen by the majority of fans as not-easy to make and therefore Nile Freeman, the main character in The Old Guard (2020) dir. Gina Prince-Bythewood, has the least fic and meta and art made about her of our 5 main immortals.
I've been active in different fandoms off and on for twenty years and I barely managed to write 5,000 words about Sam Wilson across multiple different fics in the 7 years since I fell in love with him. There's an alchemy to which characters we connect with, and on top of that which characters we connect with in a way that causes us to create stuff about them. Something about Nile Freeman finally tipped me over the edge from a voracious reader to a voracious writer. It's not for me to judge which characters speak to other individuals to the level of creating content about them, but I do think it's important for us to notice, and then work to fight, the pattern where across this fandom as a whole Nile gets way less content, and way less depth in so much of the content that's in theory about her, than any of these other characters.
Anyway, back to language. My two long fics feature Nile with several Black friends — Copley and OCs and cameos from other media — but all of those characters except Alec Hardison from Leverage aren't American. It's very possible I'm guilty of stereotyping Black British speech patterns in I See Your Eyes Seek a Distant Shore. I watched hours and hours of Black haircare YouTube videos in the research for that fic and I modeled my OCs' speech patterns on what I heard from some of those YouTubers as well as what I've heard people like John Boyega and Idris Elba saying in interviews, but the thing about doing your best is you still might fuck up.
I'm slowly making progress on my WIP where Nile and Sam Wilson are cousins, and what ways of talking with a family member might be authentic for Nile is a major question I need to figure out. For that, I'm largely modeling my writing choices on how I hear my Black friends and colleagues talking to each other. I haven't overheard colleagues talking in an office in a long-ass time, but back when that was a thing, I remember seeing a ton of nuance in the different ways many of my Black colleagues would talk to each other. Different people have different personalities! And backgrounds! And priorities! A few jobs ago my department was about 1/3 Black and we worked closely with Obama administration staff many of whom were Black and there was SO MUCH VARIETY in how Black people talked to each other, about work and workplace-appropriate personal stuff, where I and other white coworkers could hear. There are a few work friends in particular who I have in my head when I'm trying to imagine how Sam and Nile might talk to each other. From the outside looking in, God DAMN is shit complicated, intellectually and interpersonally and spiritually, for Black people who are devoting their professional lives to public service in the United States.
One more aspect of this that I have big thoughts on but I need to take extra care in talking about is the idea of acknowledging Nile's Blackness in her patterns of speech. There's no one right way to be Black, and Nile's a fictional character created by a white dude but there are plenty of real-life Black Americans who don't use much or even any AAVE, for reasons that are complicated because of white supremacy. (Highly highly recommend this video by Shanspeare on the harms of the Oreo stereotype.)
Something that's not the same but has enough similarity that I think it's worth talking about is my personal experience with authenticity and American Jewish speech patterns. My Jewish family members don't talk like they're in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and I've known lots of people who do talk that way (or the millennial version of it), some of whom have questioned my Jewishness because I don't talk that way. That hurts me. Sometimes when another Jew tells me some shit like "I've never heard a Jew say y'all'd've," I can respond with "well now you have asshole, bless your Yankee-ass heart," because the myth of Dixie is a racist lie but I will totally call white Northerners Yankees when they're being shitty to me for being Southern, and this particular Jew fucking revels in using "bless your heart" with maximum polite aggression, especially with said Yankees. But sometimes I don't have it in me to say anything and it just quietly hurts having an important part of me disbelieved by someone who shares that important part of me. The sting isn't quite the same when non-Jews disbelieve or discount my Jewishness, but that hurts too.
Who counts as authentically Jewish is a messy in-group conversation and it doesn't really make sense to explain it all here. Who counts as authentically Jewish is a matter of legal status for immigration, citizenship, and civil rights in Israel, and it's my number 2 reason after horrific treatment of Palestinians that I'm antizionist. But outside that extremely high-stakes legal situation, it can just feel really shitty to not be recognized as One Of Us, especially by your own people.
It can also feel really shitty to be The Only One of Your Kind in a group, even if that group is an immortal chosen family who all loves each other dearly. Sometimes especially in a situation like that where you know those people love you but there are certain things they don't get about you and will never quite be able to. I'm definitely projecting at least a little bit of my "lonely Jew who will be alone again for yet another Jewish holiday" stuff onto Nile when at the end of I See Your Eyes Seek a Distant Shore she's thinking about being the only Black immortal and moving away from the community she'd built with a mostly-Black group of mortals in that fic. Maybe that tracks, or maybe that's fucked up of me.
Basically, this got very long but it's complicated, writing about experiences that aren't your own takes skill which in turn takes time and practice to build, writing about experiences not your own that our society maligns can cause a lot of harm if done badly, it can also cause a lot of harm when a large enough portion of a fandom just decides to nope out of something that's difficult and risky because then there's just not much content about a character who deserves just a shit ton of loving and nuanced content, people are individuals and two people who come from the exact same cultural context might show that influence in all kinds of different ways, identity is complicated, language is complicated, writing is hard, and empathy and humility and doing our best aren't a guarantee of avoiding harm but they do go a long way in helping people create thoughtful content about a character as awesome and powerful and kind and messy and scared and curious and WORTHY as Nile Freeman.

Do you think the love triangle was forced?
I like how you say "the love triangle." I know you mean Gwen-Duncan-Courtney but like. There was a Cody-Gwen-Trent triangle before them, and an Ella-Dave-Sky love triangle afterwards. They are not the only TD love triangle out there.
I'm going to be honest, I don't personally care about the Gwen-Duncan-Courtney love triangle. I don't get the outrage. So many people see it as the end of the glorious D*ncney empire, but that relationship was crumbling before Gwen got there. I also don't care much for Gwen or Duncan as chacters 💀 Courtney all the way, and Evil!Courtney is Best!Courtney, so the love triangle did not destroy my favorite character lmao. Sorry for the rest of y'all though.
And yeah. It was forced. I think everyone believes that, and I kinda doubt you anon - that you asked this question in good faith. You just wanted to see me rant, didn't you?
And I'm gonna do it, cuz I love ranting. Yes, The Love Triangle was forced. And that's the biggest problem with it, imo. Not the result. Not Gwuncan. But all the steps it took to get there.
It's no question that Gwen and Duncan's like for each other was a little.... abrupt. They are alike, and I could even argue that they WOULD make a decent couple, but Fresh wasn't interested in writing a decent couple, and I'll touch more on that later. They were interested in the drama. So suddenly, Gwen starts missing Duncan. Suddenly, Duncan kisses her. And huzzah, one of the most controversial moments in TD History.
After all what's more soap opera than the girl's boyfriend cheating on her with her best friend? And to get to that scene, S2 and S3 were made a fuckton worse.
The thing about Gwuncan is not just that it's poorly written. It's because the writers had to demolish Gwent and Duncney to get there. And instead of putting down Gwent with grace and dignity, or having their relationship generally peter out, the writers just machet-ed it. And in the fandom's eyes, that's *Gwuncan's* fault.
In the real world you can't blame your bad breakup on the next guy your girl gets with. But this isn't the real word, this is writing. And word on the street is that TD had to fuck up Gwent so that they could get Gwuncan. So now Gwuncan represents the downfall of Gwent.
Duncney, on the other hand, was just... they needed to make the relationship worse in Action, obviously. But how they went about it (even I though I enjoy evil Courtney), did a disservice to her character arc in Island. There's nothing wrong with characters regressing, or making a dark turn, but like. You need to have a reason.
A lot of people say that reason was her anger on being rigged out. And she's right to be angry about it. But how is it Duncan's fault? (I actually have a figured out a way that makes sense but like, TD didn't. And we're examining THEM.)
So now Duncney sucks, so Duncan has a "reason," to cheat on her.
Great. So that's why S2 sucks. What about S3?
I See London. As a Noah stan, this episode doesn't hurt me, and it never did. But as a *writer*? Oof. Some of the worst slop I've seen.
I See London is completely built for the Gwuncan moment, and it's so fucking obvious. Gwen and Courtney building a friendship? It's just to make the betrayal all the harder. Duncan somehow being in London, despite being dropped off in Egypt? Yeah, just for Gwuncan. Gwen helping KIDNAP him? Which is OOC for several reasons.... Just for Gwuncan. Even Noah's elimination could be tied to Gwuncan if you tried hard enough.
Gwuncan, as a writing moment, was the root of all evil. Lmao.
But Gwuncan as a ship? I'm going to be honest, I don't think the love triangle was to set up Gwuncan. Which doesn't make sense, but here me out. Sure Gwuncan happens as a result, but the focus is less on their relationship and more about how it affects Courtney. When it comes time to eliminate either Courtney and Gwen, they make up a fake reason to have a tie. (Cody would have voted for Courtney if he didn't have some random injury.) And then Gwen couldn't just lose, but had to have a random allergy? Like the elimination is so stupid, I can't.
But wow, one half of the ship is now gone. Their relationship lasted FOUR episodes! Four! Two long-standing fan beloved ships that spanned entire seasons, are now destroyed for ... four episodes? Why?
And then they make an episode where DUNCNEY get paired together in a WEDDING THEMED CHALLENGE? Bruh. Like I'm actually sad for Gwuncan, as a ship they were disrespected so bad. The show constantly put focus on Duncney, it's so clear that the writers wanted to talk about Duncney, and that Gwuncan was just a cool conflict they thought of.
It's honestly sad, and my deepest condolences for Gwuncan fans, and any Gwuncan fan who still ships Gwuncan and believes in them - y'all the strongest soldiers.
If TD had truly wanted to make Gwuncan a thing, yeah breaking up Gwent and Duncney was necessary (and perhaps they should have ended Duncney earlier and not just Then), but they should have written Gwuncan as two people fleeing terrible relationships. Let them have the audience's sympathy. And then have Courtney be eliminated instead, and show us how good Gwuncan could really be.
The fact that in All Stars they immediately ditched the Gwuncan idea is either proof they never wanted that ship, or that the audience hated the ship so bad that getting rid of it felt like the only option. Cowards. Should have just taken it as a challenge to prove how good it truly was. That's what I would have done. (That's why i write noco)
Tl;dr. Gwuncan's cheating moment was Cool Drama, Fresh wanted to cash in on that, played the long game and destroyed their savings in the process. But they did get what they wanted! But a cool moment is just that, a moment. And Fresh doesn't even like Gwuncan.

Hey there! Um, I'm a fairly new follower. I wanted to ask you something. You seem fairly knowledgeable on the whole wilbur villainization thing. Well i uh, I don't know as much as i wish i did about mental illness stigma so please please excuse me if I'm wrong.
I uh just want to try and learn more about this while i can before i spread ant bad takes. Uh please excuse me if this read as aggressive it really isn't meant to be I'm just genuinely curious and I'm sorry if reads that way-
So uh basically i wanted to ask what's so bad about the term villain? isn't it just a role in the story? you can be a complex character and still be a villain, right?
(Once again please please excuse me if I'm wrong i don't know nearly as much as i should but i really really want to learn. I love wilbur as a character but I'm looking for a term for pogopia era that isn't too long like "pogtopia era wilbur" or "pogoptia!wilbur")
I just wanted to ask for your imput because you seem really cool and knowledgeable about this so uh yeah.
Sorry for how rambley that was I'm mot used with interacting with blogs. Uh if any of this is against etiquette I'm really sorry
And uh i just wanted to aay that this isn't meant to be aggressive I'm not sure if i said that already gshdfisne I'm just nervous to send this so i keep adding stuff
FUCKING STARTS THROWING SHIT /pos
ANON FIRST OF ALL I CARE YOU SM.
you didn't come off as aggressive at all!! In fact I'm quite flattered that you came creeping into my silly little inbox with a question. :DDD (you think i'm cool?? fucking sobs 🥺)
honestly if any of y'all have questions about my takes on c!wilbur I'd lose my fucking shit (/pos) so i'm green lighting you all. Do it. Do it.
my brainrot is immense your honor. i can write Essays on this silly mother fucker with his arms in the air.
so without further a do.

"What's so bad about the term 'villain'? isn't it just a role in a story? you can be a complex character and still be a villain, right?"
that's an interesting question, anon! Here's a few ways I can answer it:
the term "villain" in itself isn't bad! it is a role in a story – and you can still be a complex character while being a villain!! (point – dream. he's the villain of the smp, but he's not one dimensional – he's an extremely complex character with very intricate motivations. [like any good character!] and while i do agree that he is a bastard – he is much more nuanced than being just "the main villain", per say.)
(tldr; dream is a villain ‐ but he's also much more than just his narrative label!)
the problem is not the label in itself – The problem is that it's an inaccurate (and upsetting) label for c!Wilbur specifically!!
(* there's quite a big stigma around the "was wilbur a villain or not?" discourse. what I'll be talking about below stems more from what piles onto it – but if you're curious, anon – @/general-light wrote a fantastic analysis about it)
let me try and break it down for you. there are two main reasons why most of wilbur sympathisers like myself do not like the term "villain" (by extension vilbur) when describing wilbur;
1. it's inherently ableist
and let me elaborate why!! to put it simply – the majority of the fandom is... not very educated on mental illness, which in turn means it can be frequently ableist (even if it's accidental) at times due to that.
it's specifically quite ableist towards wilbur.
here's a few reasons why;
people frequently demonize his mental illness. i'm pretty sure you must've seen all of the "evil wilbur" potrayals in fanart and fanfiction where he's cruel, evil, manipulative and downright abusive.
most of the symptoms he showed due to his very poor mental health (paranoia, lashing out, anger –) were the "ugly" and "scary" sides of mental illness, and in turn were unable to romanticize; so most of the fandom took that and decided to villanize him instead.
and i'm not saying a mentally ill character can't be a villain, nor am i excusing wilbur's actions – what i'm saying is that people took a broken man and twisted him into a monster.
similarly, amongst the evil and manipulative potrayals – one of the most notable one's are where he's depicted as "insane."
if you are not aware, anon – the term insane is actually ableist! (as common as it is.) it serves as an innacurate, harmful blanket term. (think of it as a blur. what some people would call "insane", could be, for example – a psychotic break, a violent outburst, and in wilbur's case – paranoia.) this also applies to terms such as "crazy" and "madness."
and while i'm here!! i see that you were curious as to what terms to use for him – i'd recommend you use "spiralbur" instead of "vilbur" or "insanebur" as it references his downward spiral!!
(* while i don't think simply calling him just a villain is ableist, more just innacurate to his character – it's everything else that usually piles onto it that makes it ableist.)
2. it usually waters down his character immensely
aside from the ableism, people tend to just completely take away wilbur's nuance and complexity to fit him into a specific mould.
tell me anon, how different is c!wilbur from his fanon potrayal?
fanon wilbur is often potrayed as strong, violent, manipulative, evil, and insane – while canon wilbur was weak, depressed, angry, traumatised, codependant, and paranoid.
aside from character inaccuracies – people simply tend to just completely over simplify and water him down. such as when people reduce his entire personality to "tnt!!! bombs!!!" – or when people twist him into the image of "sexy hot villain man"
. . . i'm not kidding.
going back to your original question,
"isn't it just a role in a story?"
in regards to that, i believe the term you're looking for is antagonist!! and while "villain" and "antagonist" can blur into eachother – i personally perfer to use antagonist :]
"An antagonist is a character who acts in opposition to the protagonist (main character) in a story. A villain is a character with evil or criminal goals and methods."
"An antagonist, in a work of fiction, is a character or force that opposes a protagonist, the main character who often is the story's hero. An antagonist provides the story's conflict by creating an obstacle for a story's protagonist."
"Antagonists are plot devices that create obstructions and challenges for your hero protagonist. You can have more than one antagonist in your story. But, the villain must remain the protagonist's main opponent."
(* a villain is an antagonist, but an antagonist doesn't necessarily have to be a villain!)
.
.
.
i hope that answers your question anon!! i'd love to receive more asks like this, they make me hap e :]

hello friend! 4, 10, and 15 for the ask game ❣️
Hellooooooooo Sudha! Thank you!
4. what fic of your own do you read for comfort?
I'm not a huge fan of reading my own work back (maybe because it's all pretty recent and I need more distance from it?). BUT with that said I'm actually having fun rereading my Jilytober 31 prompts collection every day. Also my Platform 9 3/4 drabble from last month.
OK now that I'm looking at this pattern it's the things I don't obsess over and I end up writing in like under an hour lol. 😅
10. how has writing positively impacted your mental health or overall mood?
It's been really fun to get back into fandom and have a creative outlet that isn't tied to my job! It's nice to have pride in something that isn't tied to like performance and money. I went from freelancing after my full-time job during covid to spending all my free time planning a wedding to suddenly having NOTHING to do, so when this filled that vacuum it was nice to have something fun and low-pressure to work towards.
15. How do you think your writing as improved over time?
I only started writing again 5 months ago so I don't think I can speak to the fics y'all have read BUT looking back on my fics from like middle school and junior high, other than a general overall improvement in quality from a 12 year old to 29 year old, I care SO MUCH MORE now about canon compliancy lol. I mean we also know more about the Marauders now than we did when the books were still coming out (which is when I last wrote) but even just in compliance with era-appropriate references and language.
Thank you! :)
Ask me questions! (There's still a few left on here, I think!)

ninjago for the series asks?
favorite character
cole cole cole cole cole cole cole did i mention cole ninjago ??? he is Literally one of my favorite fictional characters ever y'all. like, he's been my favorite since s1 ep6 the snake king aired. the love in my heart for cole is immense. i adore him. he means so much to me. one of the biggest comfort characters.
second favorite character
kai ! kai becoming my second favorite is actually a recent development, but God i love him. he's so funny and so loyal and he's just trying his best... usually! kai holds a very special place in my heart <3 also need to give darreth an honorable mention just cause i think he deserves it
least favorite character
fanon jay what ahem i didn't say anything about how i hate the way the ninjago fandom babies and treats jay and that they have contorted and twisted his entire personality what hahaha... ha. no, um. probably misako oops. love you kathleen barr !!! miskao is just. kind of a terrible mom ??? the skull sorcerer was also Very Mean to cole and that is Not Allowed. so also him.
the character i’m most like
hmmm... on some levels, cole. but, really, i think jay. no. not fanon jay. the Actual jay walker in canon. but i am cole where... as jay is an extrovert, cole is an introvert. where jay was humor to cope, cole throws himself into whatever he possibly can to distract himself. so, that's kind of my two major things
favorite pairing
i hate this question. i Literally changes all the time. sometimes it's glacier because they and also my favorite ninjago fanfic ever (morning sun everyone please read it) is a glacier fic. then sometimes it's lava because DUH. it used to be bruise no questions asked, but again, fanon has ruined that for me :) i still Like the ship, but i like My interpretation of the ship. and sometimes i really am a sucker for jaya. i mean, the last resort is one of my favorite episodes and the jaya in it is So Good! and then sometimes i'm like yeah... pixane... they... lloyd x therapy is a great one too tbh
least favorite pairing
gREENFLAME !!! i mean, lloyd x any of the ninja in general. he is aroace and he needs to heal first. but greenflame is my ultimate least favorite because of the greenflame shipping war on ffn when i was in middle school and because kai and nya are the siblings lloyd never had. let them be siblings. but then also conya cause cole is gay and i hated the love triangle. then also cole x cake because cole had an eating disorder in canon that everyone makes fun of all the time and in this essay i will--
favorite moment
dad, i didn't mean for you to hear that, but i'm glad i did. there's something i've been wanting to tell you. all these years, i haven't been training to be a singer or a dancer. i found something new that i'm really good at! dad... i'm a ninja. and the truth is, if we don't steal that fangblade... i mean, blade cup, there's other people that will. bad people. serpentine. and we need it to save the world. and i know how ridiculous this sounds, but i'm proud of who i am and i want you to be proud too.
what? what is it? where's cole? where's cole? somebody say something! where's cole? / he-h-he's gone. / what'd you mean, gone? / lloyd... he fell... into the cloud. / i-i'm so sorry. / he's... he's really... gone? / *garmadon head tilt* / it was my fault! i pulled the thrust lever the wrong way and--*throws head in hands* / it wasn't your fault, it was an accident. / it could've happened to anyone. / alright, let's get going. / do you mind??? / yes i do. we are wasting valuable time! all that matters now is this! / the golden armour! / what about the realm crystal? / it didn't work. but this will, they fear it. / cole was our friend, he was more than a friend, he was family! but you don't understand that, do you? what's the point! you're never gonna get it! because you don't care about anyone but yourself! / every moment you delay risks our survival-- / there's more to life than surviving! gah! / how do you reason with that? you, nindroid. if Any of you are capable of logical thought, it is you. tell them. / i am happy to say, you are mistaken. at this moment, even i am incapable of logical thought
it was her... / what? / it... wasn't the blades. / i told you that. / it was her... the power inside my mother... it was the spinjitzu burst! / alas, you're not half the warrior your mother was. / no, but i am her son. and i made her a promise to stand up to tyrants like you. always! / what are you doing? what is this?
TWINS LOOK ALIKE!
rating out of 10
hmmm imma say nine because: cole only had one season, the love triangle, s7 as a whole (except for twins look alike), the lack of recognition and attention they gave cole.
send me a series and i'll tell you my...

hi! this is gonna be so random and sudden i'm sorry but i have a question -- how do you cope with people writing off and criticizing seb? i started to really stan him over winter break (mostly because of blogs like yours!) and i made the mistake of reading three articles that said aston martin made a mistake in choosing seb (one from max, one from eddie jordan, and one from reddit) and i'm just... just y'all fucking wait to eat your words sebastian "twink-turned-fuckboy-turned-father" is gonna be back to kick all of y'alls asses 😤😤😤 but honestly tho like how do you cope with that. it's fine if you don't answer this (ik this may be sudden and draining) but i hope you're having a good day!! 💓
Hello 💕
Okay, so this ask is super old and I remember seeing it and having so many thoughts and then no time to answer and then forgetting and then remembering but being embarrassed cause it took me so long and ... I just reblogged sth about toxic traits and yeah, that’s one of mine: never answering messages 🙈
So I am sorry but if you still care: here are my thoughts!
(Under a read more cause a bitch has things to say)
I should admit beforehand that I am still fairly new to online fandom of F1, I didn’t really consider getting involved in it when I watched as a child and I didn’t care enough to look for fandom when I restarted keeping up with it in like 2018 ... until Ferrari fired Seb and ya‘ll kept trending that is 🙈😂
But back to dealing with the criticism, I think it comes down to a few things:
1, You have to figure out what you want from F1 and especially this fandom! Me, I met some really cool people and I found out I love making memes so that’s what I am doing and - this is my white girl privilege I guess - I will sometimes ignore toxic stuff so it won’t kill my mood (it‘s easier with Seb than it is with Alex cause some of ya‘ll are ✨racist✨)
2, consider who is criticizing Seb, which for me is such a big thing cause if you look at the people the criticize him (Max aside) it‘s never the people who know him and never the people who actually raced against him! Those people are usually full of praise of him, like Lewis or Charles or Horner or fuck, even Mark! Hell, even Fernando has by now admitted that Seb didn’t deserve the shit he said about him back then!
3, what are they actually saying? I mean, generally speaking it‘s always: Seb is washed up. Seb is too sensitive of a driver. Seb just got lucky being in RBR at the time. Sbinalla! And just, you know what? You don’t get 4 titles, you don’t become the third most successful driver of all time and you don’t take the fight so close to Lewis and Mercedes for so long by sheer luck!
4, Seb says he doesn’t care and while I think it’s bullshit that he doesn’t care at all - I think Seb has been in this sport too long and has gotten too much shit even when he was running the show to actually give the critics too much space so why should I? I am here to support Seb not to fight assholes!
5, one thing that plays into this but for me deserves it’s own point: you mentioned the thing about proving the critics wrong and while I want Seb to come out on top with Aston Martin ... I also think he has fuck all to prove to anyone, buddy IS the third most successful driver (so far), he IS a four times WDC, he IS an amazing athlete ... and most importantly he seems to be a wonderful human being and a loving father and honestly that‘s more important to me and also means (imo) he has shit all to prove to anyone, especially guys like Max or Martin Brundle or men on reddit who haven’t had a quarter of the success he‘s had!
6, and this is where I commit sacrilege so please no one cancel me as a Seb fan but: one thing that really helped me deal with people criticizing Seb is the fact that I accepted (for myself) imho Seb really isn’t the best driver ever ... he isn’t as talented as Lewis or Michael or Ayrton or whatever ... he does have more flaws as a driver ... he can be a bully on track ... he makes dumb mistakes ... but you know what? Idc! That‘s the thing for me: Idc if he‘s the best or if he’s winning or if he beats so and so and proves so and so wrong cause I like HIM both as a driver and a person and I want him to be happy and I wanna support him and while I am obviously always hoping he comes our on top if he doesn’t? Eh, that‘s okay for me! What I love about Seb is that he’s been so successful despite all his flaws because for me Seb wasn’t this successful cause he’s oh so talented (like Max supposedly is) but cause he put in the work! For me Seb proves that sometimes loving something and then working for it ... even when you might not be as good at it initially ... is worth it! That wanting something bad enough can get you somewhere even when everything wants you to fail
And that‘s my thought and if you do read it dear anon, I hope you are well and this helped or maybe you have completely different thoughts by now or don’t even care about Seb anymore but yeah, this is how I deal!
Anyways, stay frosty and remember: red means stop but green means go!

I am curious about your take on something. So Taekook probably hate the idea of Taekook, right? If Jk and Jimin are together (as I beleive they are) then the very idea of taekook has to be like sooo weird for everyone, especially when it results in hate directed at Jimin. So why don't Taekook agree to like NEVER LAY HANDS ON ONE ANOTHER in public. I know they shouldnt have to. They like skinship and all. And no one is going cray cray over jinkook or jihope etc. But its an easy fix? Maybe not?
Tradshippers... Haha.
The gag being Tuktukkers say the same thing about Jimin and Jikook all the time- if V is his soulmate and friend, shouldn't he keep his hands off JK? Shouldn't he respect the sanctity of his friends' relationship? Doesn't he care that his actions with JK hurt Tae? That he is wrecking another man's home, yadda, yadda, yadda.
Heard it all before. Not particularly impressed by that level of rudimentary mental adroitness- at all. It all flows from insecurities and or the shipper's dissatisfaction with how these people in reality interact with one another because that often tend to be in disharmony with their shipping fantasies about their OTP.
The shipping community in general is a fantasy bubble. Haven't done much research on its demographics but from my observation, it seems the younger demographic can't seem to detach fantasy from reality while the much 'adult' population'- perhaps, for fear of having their reality warped or their hearts broken, are too engrossed in reality as such tend to approach shipping with quizical glares at best, cynicism, skepticism and what I like to call a false sense of logic- at worst.
Then of course, there are those in between.
But one thing they all seem to have in common is their emotional response to the demystification of their fantasies. Like any fantasy, people tend to lash out at or carry resentment towards anything or anyone that threatens their false sense of safety built around their fantasy.
For Taekookers they tend to lash out at Jimin or even Jokers because they threaten their sense of ship safety. Jokers do the same with JK more so than Tae, but Tae too nevertheless.
Taekook, Jinkook and the other ships Jikooker's are threatened by are viewed as threats and looked upon with disdain and resentment only because they ruin the fantasy of Jikook for them and nothing else.
And if that's not the case, then these people are too invested in someone else's relationship and lack both personal and emotional boundaries- it's their relationship not ours.
You can't sit in your homes, behind the screens and pilot someone else's relationship or point out what is wrong with their relationship and feel strongly about it to the point you start demanding and dictating how they should relate with eachother or their friends- that's entitlement and borderline toxicity which is scary, not gonna lie.
Jikook and Vmin equally ruin the fantasy of Taekook for their shippers. And they look to Jimin as the grinch and killjoy, hence lash out against him without reservation.
In a perfect shipping alternate universe, Taekook or Jikook would be couples within a group where it's glaringly clear that they are couples and as such no other ship would compete or interact with them in a way that raises questions about the general perception of them as a couple unit within the group or threaten their status as such. But this is reality. Not fantasy. And it just doesn't work that way.
Most of these conversational topics you raise are about how people want their OTP to behave rather than how their OTP actually behave towards one another.
It's especially disconcerting when their disapproval of an interaction stems from them 'wrongly' labeling or interpreting that interaction as 'intimate' and or romantic and proceed to go on an emotionally charged rant on behalf of their OTP calling for them to instill boundaries.
Maybe Tae is not instilling boundaries for JK with Jimin because he doesn't have the right to? Because he is not in a relationship with either Kook or Jimin?
Maybe Jimin is not telling Tae and Kook to keep the skinship off cameras because he is not bothered by the 'hate he receives' because of their interactions?
Tae kook have been interacting on our screens for 7 good years. You think if Jimin found their interactions as problematic or disrespectful to his relationship with Kook that he wouldn't have nipped that in the bud?
Have you not seen him react a countless time to when he is uncomfortable with an interaction that crosses his limits or boundaries? It should tell you he doesn't have a problem with Tae Kook at all.
He only has a problem when an interaction crosses the line. Same with JK. And if due to his ideosyncracy he can't stomach an interaction, he averts his eyes. I don't think he would want them to stop interacting all together. If he did that would be problematic because they are all friends and he doesn't own Kook or vice versa.
Also the statement that Tae Kook need to keep their skinship off camera because Jimin receives a lot of hate because of it is a non sequitur. Tae kook is not the reason Jimin recieves a lot of hate in the fandom. Jikook is.
Taekook doesn't hurt Jimin, Jikook does. People lash out at Jimin because of his interactions with JK not because of JK's interaction with with Tae.
So the solution would not be for Tae and Kook to keep their skinship off camera, it would be for JK and Jimin to not interact on camera at all. I mean if we are being honest.
And all those who claim JK isn't protecting Jimin because his interactions with Tae is what fuels the passions of Tuktukkers towards Jimin, think again...
JK puts up boundaries with Tae as it is. Out of all BTS, they are the two who have openly admitted to having 'drifted apart' over the years- I wonder why. When Tae spoke about wanting JK to treat him as a friend rather than hyung, JK told him he couldn't do that because that would have led to a lot of fights between them. What other boundaries do y'all expect him to put up again?
Dude rarely nurtures his relationship outside Jimin within the group- responding to texts a whole year later and what not.
And even with this, Jimin recieves a lot of backlash regardless. I think we need to stop justifying hate. There is no justification for hate. No excuse is excuse enough for the traumatization of another human being.
JK equally gets dragged for filth in these shipping streets. Tuktukkers hate him as much as they hate Jimin because of his interactions with Jimin. Tae stans hate him. Jimin stans hate him. He is neither here nor there. He got called a pig, sissy, and all kinds of derogatory names when he pulled away at KBS when Tae wanted to hold his hands.
Jokers, PJM jokers drag him for filth in their gcs and shit and equally hates on him because to him he doesn't love Jimin enough or at all. Especially, when he doesn't interact with JM in a way that pleases them.
The problem is Jikook. Both Jimin and JK will have their peace of mind if they didn't interact at all and kept their relationship private. The best way for JK to protect his boyfriend from all this bullshit is to keep a safe distance from him and act like he doesn't know him or never met him- because that is how Kpop idols usually protect their relationships.
And yet, and YET, when he does just that y'all jump on his neck on every turn, screaming Jk hates Jimin and doesn't love him. I gotta ask-
WHAT Y'ALL WANT FROM JK?!
People just like to ruin beautiful things, don't they?
And while we are at it, let me address this Ask I got a few days ago claiming if JK loves Jimin then it doesn't make sense for him to want to act so loud with Jimin or express his feelings for him in a way that out's their relationship because that can hurt Jimin and bring him a lot of hate...
You think Jimin openly loving on JK doesn't bring JK a lot of hate too? Damn. It's the double standards for me. Lmho.
Listen, JM has a duty to protect JK just as much as JK has a duty to protect JM. By your logic, if Jimin loves Jk then he equally needs to stop doting on him in public because his love causes JK as much pain as JK's love causes Jimin- but Jimin can't stay away now can he?
Jimin had to ask JK permission to express himself the way that he does with him- on their Log when he asked JK if he was ok with him saying he loved him on camera. Jk had a need to keep their relationship private, Jimin had a need to keep it open and clearly didn't want to hide their relationship. But they have since outgrown their old selves. Their wants and their needs have changed- if you pay attention to JK's lyrics in recent times.
Their dynamics keep flipping. And they are constantly negotiating their needs, from my perspective anyway- let them do them. Y'all didn't seem to have a problem when in their earlier dynamics Jimin was the one pushing for them to be open with their relationship. JK eventually gave up his need to hide their relationship didn't he? And overtime he became comfortable expressing affection for Jimin openly.
Yet, suddenly when JK wants the same thing in their relationship y'all claim he is being unreasonable and unfair towards Jimin? Huh?
Granted, he over does it sometimes. Yes. Lol.
But you can't hold Jikook to different standards. They are both human and their feelings for eachother are equally valid. Their needs from eachother are valid in the same weight.
If Jimin gets to show the whole world just how much he loves JK and because of that many people are convinced Jimin loves JK more than JK loves him- even if half of the time he is using fanservice as a cover or even his persona as a cover, then why can't JK equally use his art or whatever means he prefers as a cover to show the world just how much he loves Jimin?
...Even if half of the time he is borderline outing him and getting him in trouble? Lol. That's just the love if you ask me. Hehehe.
Chilee JK, you make it hard to defend you sometimes! Lol. Just don't out your man. How hard is that!😭🤭
Seriously though, you don't think he wants people to see he loves Jimin too? Damn, y'all be reading Jimin wrong. Because Jimin loves it when JK shows the world he loves him... Did you see his face after Rosebowl? Why do you think JK keeps cutting it close? Dude is gunning for the points. Lmho. Jikook speak eachother's love language. Let that sink in.
If JK is pushing against the glass closet it's because he is convinced that that is something Jimin wants but is afraid to go after and he is the fearless one among the two. Y'all just be fighting the wrong battles. Lmho.
Jikook is asserting themselves against eachother. They are pushing eachother's boundaries and I don't think that is necessarily a bad thing.
You can't claim JK doesn't love Jimin and in the same breath condemn and disapprove of the ways he expresses himself and his love for Jimin- I think you need to free JK now!
Between Tuktukkers and certain Jokers, I don't know who is worse- Nevermind, I'm not a fan tradshippers in general.
JK is there to please his man not shippers and the way I see it Jimin looks like a satisfied customer to me.
If you are dissatisfied with Jikook, there are a countless other ships in BTS. Get on one. See how that goes. Lol.
Where were we, Anon?
Oh right, Tae Kook. Lol.
I think we need to learn to hold the right people accountable for their actions. The problem is not Tae Kook, or Jikook or any other ship. The problem is with the toxic shippers who use them as an excuse to perpetuate unfathomable hurt towards the boys and towards others.
I think Tuktukkers need to develop a better attitude towards Jikook. Jikooker's need to do the same about Tae Kook or Jin Kook.
Personally, I would rather Jikook kept their relationship private but I also understand their need to take advantage of the glass closet- secrets are hard to hide. They get heavy before they get easy.
And Jimin loves to be loved. He loves when you show him off. It's part of his love language. You can't date him and Keep him a secret- and still we question why JK doesn't want to hide him.
If y'all don't want to ship Jikook that's fine. I'll ship them myself.😒
Whatever decisions they are making, I support it wholeheartedly. I support them with every fiber of my being.
LONG LIVE JIKOOK. JIKOOK IS REAL.
Signed,
GOLDY
