okay, more HCs. This one is only Scara, so things might get a lil dark- I'm not normal about him. anywho: Scaramouche: -autistic. I am going to say this about every Harbinger, bc it's the truth. -most traumatized mfer in all of Teyvat. Seriously. someone give this guy a licensed therapist. -as Kabukimono, he's tried to eat several non edible items. This one is inspired by that one researcher who made up a story about him eating a humans arm. The image of little Scara munching on various dangerous items is so cute -related to the above: he still does it sometimes, to fuck with people. Dottore thinks its great. Pierro had to stop him from getting Kuni to eat a delusion. -Eyes (& markings) always glow at least slightly, even if he's not using his powers. Its not really noticeable in the day, but at night you can see it pretty well -hates Pantalone. Not bc he's jealous of him hanging out with Dottore or something (if anything, Pantalone gets jealous), but just because he is an ass. -Went to the Abyss again for a long time, just after Arlecchino became a Harbinger, and kind of forgot that Crucy was replaced. Came back and was like "who the FUCK- oh right". Why? because I think its funny -In general, has a better relationship with most of the female Harbingers than the male ones. -a little self indulgent, but I like to think that he was able to float a lil with electro as well. We see Raiden and Ei do it, and I think it'd be cute if he was able to as well, if to a lesser degree. -has used almost every element at some point, testing delusions with Dotty. Mostly bc I can't really imagine all those researchers just throwing 4 extra elements at shouki no kami and being like "figure it out" -speaking of delusions: I think he didn't use one. His electro is inert and I dont think he used another element. I see people headcanoning his delusion as Anemo, and I get it, but I don't like it all that much -SPEAKING of his electro being inert to his body- I refuse to believe he lost electro completely. The whole "oh he used up his divinity" is lazy. He can still connect to Irminsul, which he only learned while ascending, but he cant use electro anymore, something that he's had since birth? Bullshit. I understand him not using it, but I think it'd be more impactful if that was a voluntary choice. I'd really like to see him recover it over the course of the story -I think Youkai like him. Obviously this excludes Yae Miko, but I think as Kabukimono it wouldn't be strange to see him being followed by some Tanuki or the lesser Kitsune. I would really like to see him interact with the Youkai Children from that one Inazuma event, I think it'd be really cute. -I like seeing people write about him and Kujou Sara, both romantic, platonic and as enemies. The two of them are very similar in some aspects, and then radically different in others. I think it'd be really interesting to see Kujou Sara confronted with her own trauma being reflected onto Ei. I guess this is mostly because I just really like Sara and I want my favs to interact xD -more of a theory, but I think Pierro and Dottore, (will) remember him. He has a lot of foreshadowing in his voiceline about Pierro & Dotty, and other things. He's very clearly endgame/lore relevant, with his story not even being finished. -not a HC, but I wanted to mention it: I'm still stuck in Inversion of Genesis on my main account. I never played past it. I did the Fontaine and Natlan quests for friends/watched them online, but I'm still in IoG on my main, because I never fully decided on a name -last one bc character limit: I really like to imagine him interacting with Neuvilette. I think there could be a lot of interesting discussions had here- Neuvi would absolutely dissaprove of his attempt to overthrow Nahida, but at the same time I think he would, to some degree, understand his obsession with the gnosis. No, the gnosis/authority doesn't belong to Scara (or Ei, for that matter), but I think if you told Neuvi that Scara was quite literally created to hold it, he'd understand, to a degree.

With most Cobra Kai characters, I can point blank tell you a list of other characters I believe they've been horny for at some point, whether or not I personally ship it. Hawk and Moon were horny for each other, and they're my most despised ship. Moon has lowkey been horny for several male and female characters. Terry's definitely kinda horny for Daniel, even if I'm not really into silverusso. Some characters--Johnny, Miguel, and Moon are the first ones that come to mind--read as overall Horny In General.

With Demetri, I...struggle. You ask me who he's been horny for, and the first answer is obviously Eli, and then it's like...I don't fucking know??? ...Miguel??? I literally blank because he is largely just so (romantically) uninterested in characters who aren't Eli, and kindofmaybepossiblyMiguel.

What's funny about Demetri is he's the type of dude who talks a big stink about How Horny He Is For Women All The Time (classic comphet nonsense!), but his actions don't match. He's like "oh I'd do ANYTHING for Yasmine to notice me!" and then doesn't show one iota of distress when he botches talking to her. He gripes about how he can't get a girlfriend because he's unpopular, and then is so absolutely unbothered when none of them ask the girls to dance at Halloween.

Even in S3, when he starts his whole fling with Yasmine, it seems like Yasmine is the one who initiates it. Come S4, Yasmine's the one acting "horny" (insofar as you'd call it that--I think it's all a faked facade that Yasmine is putting on for her own reasons, but that's irrelevant here). The ass-slapping, the weird seduction-y talk, and the getting up in Demetri's personal space is all her. And if Demetri is uncomfortable with all this, he's obviously not going to show it! No quicker way to get all sorts of unwanted attention on you than if you don't seem to be happy to be living every guy's dream.

Out of all the teen guys, Demetri is easily the least interested in those kinds of intimacy. He's all talk, but his actual efforts to hit on girls are half-assed, and he just kinda rolls with it when a girl shows interest in him. But like...he's not checking out a bunch of guys either???? We don't really see him eyeing up Robby or Chris in the way he eyes up Eli (or, more recently, Miguel lmao). At least not in my opinion. So I tend away from the headcanon that Demetri is your average horny teenage boy, just...for boys instead of girls. He hasn't shown that kind of interest in that many boys, but not really any genuine interest in girls, either!

There's one (1) person he looks like he's interested in banging, and that would be Eli. And now, it seems, maybe Miguel too? In any case, Demetri's more raunchy desires are saved only for the boys nearest and dearest to his heart. And I love that for him!

And just being a casual friend will not do--you MUST be intensely ride-or-die through the thick and thin to unlock The Horny.

I also have a headcanon (that I honestly can't decide if it's more heartbreaking or hilarious) that Demetri has had an on-and-off crush on Miguel for the entire series, and it tends to activate/intensify when he thinks he's too deep in Eli's friendzone or has otherwise completely lost his chance with Eli. Like back in S1, he lowkey seems to be crushing on Miguel to the point where he's a little O____o when Miguel invites Sam to join their pig dissection group XD Prolly because he was like "WELL Eli is definitely definitely DEFINITELY never gonna see me that way, or else he woulda said something by now...but this new guy, tho? 👀👀👀MAYBE IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO BE GAY WITH HIM--"

And then shit gets so intense with Eli and Miguel dates so many girls that Demetri kinda forgets his crush for a while. He's got bigger concerns, and Miguel probably doesn't swing that way anyhow! And THEN he gets Eli back, and things are looking up, and--

What's this??? Eli wants to "explore his options" for college??? Well maybe I'LL explore my options for DATING then!!!! I am checking out The Goods, Eli, and The Goods are fine as hell, and maybe MIGUEL would treat me right, and maybe it's not too late for Miguel to come out as bi and also totally into me--

(DEEPLY funny because it's like. Boy be so fr right now! Your rebound crush is a guy in a committed het relationship who you have even LESS chance with than the homoerotic best friend who spurred all this in the first place???

Then again, Demetri has a history of getting "safety crushes" on people he views as completely unattainable, so...this is nothing new XD)

ANYWAYS, IN SUMMARY

Listener drawing is coming. Little delayed because I had accidentally deleted my original progress, and I was also struggling to get an expression I liked. Here’s a little sneak peek, alongside one of the versions I considered moving forward with. Was gonna be Listener after being upstaged by Whiteout but it wasn’t really working for me.

I also kept getting distracted cause I wanted to sketch other characters lol. Here’s some of those said sketches.

1. Coral and Anemone. I dressed Coral in a lot of…coral jewelry…alongside pearls, various sea critters, and golden strands of seaweed. Maybe she also has some coral colored markings because I like giving the tribes traits and colors outside the canon. Are they natural, or did she dye herself? Dunno. She’s almost identical to Tsunami, although she’s larger and has a longer, slender snout, and her colors are just slightly off. Different markings, too. I really liked Anemone’s colors here. Very pastel and pearlescent. I’ve given her curling horns and stripes that resemble anemone tentacles.

2. Gill, before his time in the arena. I like giving SeaWings facial hair made of fins and webbing and whatever else. He and Tsunami have the same facial structure, and Auklet has his colors.

3. Tsunami…again! This was to visualize her outside of my cover redraw. I gave her a different fin style and decided to push the wave motif. She’s got her father’s square chin/jaw, and his big round nose- a trait I gave to Turtle as well. She also has a stylish scar over her brow that she received from Gill in the arena. Her and Coral have similar patterns, but Tsunami lacks the extra coloration on her jaw (something I’ve also decided to cut from the cover redraw).

4. Blaze. I’ve drawn her before on my DA account, but I decided to make some changes. She’s got a color scheme closer to the graphic novel (mainly in the horns). I also wanted to give her pure black eyes this time around (I headcanon that SandWings find super dark eyes attractive) and a hint of pink in her scales. I think it’d be funny if Burn and Blaze looked similar. Similar in that they both have pinkish scales, blonde sails, reddish horns, and pure black eyes. Otherwise they’re completely different.

5. Burn. Disregard the anatomy pleeaaaase, I was not focusing on that when I sketched this out. Anyways, yeah. Burn is huge and absolutely SHREDDED. She wears scars like jewelry and her teeth are orange from how bloodstained they are. Her colors and facial markings are inspired by lions. I also added a bit of pink in her scales, too.

And that is literally Katsuki Bakugo, can't see him not doing it tbh. (This was also a lot longer then I planned for it to be- I just started typing and here we are- 1k)

He isn't confused about a lot of things in life but his feelings definitely stump him. He tries to analyze other people and how they react to people, but the dots just don't connect. He hears people rave on and on about how cute their crush is, but he just doesn't get it.

It's not that he hasn't been introduced to it either. I mean, it's middle school. Everyone is crazy about dating someone even if it's just to hold their stupid hand. Bakugo didn't get it, he honestly didn't want to get it. Sure he wanted to understand it, but only so he could know a weakness or some shit. He didn't want the gushy feelings or anything such.

Rejecting girl after girl was normal for him, people just loved how great he was. But after the first year of middle school that stopped. Mainly because of how rudely he rejected every girl in the past, but also because of you.

You got extremely close with him rather quickly, working your way into his life and friend groups. It was rare to see you away from each other.

Yet when you confessed to him in your last year of middle school, he stood still. It was the only confession he hesitated on. And while you swayed on your feet, anxious for a reply, he tried to cough up any words possible.

But the only ones that came out were. "You're not special."

In the most blunt way possible, he crushed your dreams. With the way he was looking at you, it was like he couldn't fathom the thought that you thought you were good enough for him, different than all the other girls. So you choked up any spiteful things you wanted to say and nodded before walking off.

The day he cracked was after he fought Deku, after being yelled out by Aizawa he and Deku were told to wait.

Bakugo mentioned your name in a mumble at first before Deku questioned it. "She like you or some shit?"

The door opened before anything else could be said, but even if it didn't, they both knew the conversation was over.

Feeling the commonly named butterflies in his stomach, at just the thought of you thinking of him still, was odd. It was an entirely new feeling. Just grooming headcanons and how would DO/SW react to reader busting out a whole ass skincare/haircare routine with tons of nice smelling products, shampoos, oils and hair masks

Okay! So I have grooming thoughts/HC and I’ll maybe get a whole post together at some point for it, but for now I wanna focus on this particular scenario of modern reader wanting to pamper him.

So, I feel like they would actually react the same way about this, mainly because they both grew up in the same environment and are both warriors etc. That being said I do think there will be a few differences and I’ll list them out.

Before I begin, I want to preface that I think if would be funny if they BOTH would be very against/dont wanna do it at first (I’ll explain why- this is in regards to the skincar/haircare/oils etc not general grooming).

I think SW out of the two would be easier to convince, not right away, but I do think hed eventually give in quicker than DO. I also think SW would seek you out after he realized how much he liked it and would demand his pampering. DO would be more subtle about it and let himself get a little extra messy so you offer it. DO is more on the indifferent side, thinking it’s pointless where as SW thinks that but also sees it as ‘fancy’ and too ‘soft’.

- [ ] You would think he’d jump at the chance to be groomed and have your hands running through his fur? Generally yes. But this? No.

- [ ] Absolutely Refuses when you first bring it up. Curls his lip and wrinkles his nose and everything.

- [ ] Thinks it’s a waste. Of. Time.

- [ ] He would be just fine with a wash and scrub in the river/waterfall, doesnt need whatever the hell that is.

- [ ] Doesnt like how stuff feels on his fur (even if it’s gonna be washed off) - he has yet to experience the joy of modern products making his fur extra soft though.

- [ ] He’s gonna argue that for him, someone who regularly gets into fights and rolls around getting into shit and is always getting filthy for one reason or another, wasting all that stuff is useless. (Not that hes dirty, he washes all the time)

- [ ] The scents of the products would irritate his sensitive nose so before you ask again you’d have to find stuff that he could deal with.

- [ ] Grooming is important in his culture so he genuinely loves grooming and being groomed by you, BUT he drawls the line at this fancy frou-frou modern shit. He is a strong, independent warrior and does NOT need to smell like a flower (disregarding how often he rolls in them when playing with monkey cubs).

- [ ] As much as he grew up being used to grooming and it being a bonding thing, it’s not something he is used to in regards of “being taken care of”. It was more of a social thing so you wanting to take care of him makes him on edge.

- [ ] If you keep at it though eventually he will give in, just the once (he thinks). Especially when you show him the products before hand and they dont smell AS bad.

- [ ] He’s gonna pout and sigh dramatically through the first bit of it. Trying to keep up a ‘I’m only doing this for you, you owe me’ facade.

- [ ] But he very quickly realizes that he freaking adores this!

- [ ] The low lighting, soft smells, warm fuzzy atmosphere, being the focus of your attention for an extended period of time?

- [ ] You rinsing his fur? Slowly massaging in the soaps and scraping your nails gently over his skin? The hot warm water coupled with you rubbing the knots out of his sore muscles? Drying him with gentle towel rubs and light blow drying so he’s nice and soft and fluffy? Rubbing oil or lotion on the fur less patches of his so his skin is hydrated and soft? You just touching him for so damn long tenderly, letting him lean back against your chest when in the tub or letting him lay across your lap as you blow dry his back, or giving him a real massage after while he just lies there feeling like a fucking cloud? Even with the damn moist thing you put on his face.

- [ ] He is in fucking LOVE and heaven. THIS is the real heaven, right here. You have one giant puddle of a monkey and you’ve done it now.

- [ ] He’s going to be letting out so many sighs and light grunts/groans of innocent pleasure. His mind will be quiet and he will just bask in the attention you’ve given him.

- [ ] Very addicted to it although it wont happen SUPER often. (Although you made him boujee about his soap now so this is your fault)

- [ ] SWK - again will from here on DEMAND his pamperings when he deems it time. DO - will be more subtle about it, purposely letting himself get messy and take bare minimum washes so you get fed up with how disheveled his fur is and ‘make’ him sit for you for a night of pampering time.

- [ ] He is gonna be smug as fuck though to other monkeys / people with his glossy soft fur and beautiful shining soft skin. SWK would strut like a peacock and DO would be a bit more subtle about it but would still show off.

- [ ] Definitely WILL return the favor. Enjoys it very much in fact, again it’s a social thing/bonding thing, plus he gets to make you feel special too/has his hands on you for extended periods of time.

Side note: I feel like since this is more of a pamper the monkey thing spicy time would be on a low simmer. But if it leads to it, it would happen AFTER everything is said and done. Not that he wouldn’t get you worked up or you him, slick hands are traveling all over each others bodies after all (sometimes deliberately). But I think it would be tender and slow, just enjoying the warm soft gooey atmosphere you two have created for the night.

fun charles rowland fact!

So I was going back through the show and trying to get some gifs of Charles, and I found out something interesting!

I was going back to get a silly funny clip of that ghost guy's head blowing up in E3, and I realized something that I have no idea how I didn't pick up before.

Charles is left handed!

Which I was like, wow! Cool! I don't know how I didn't pick up on that the first time around because I usually get excited over small character details like that, but whatever, right?

(putting the rest of my revelation under a cut lol)

And then on my continuation of said gif quest, I was getting a clip of Charles pulling his cricket bat out at Esther's in E1.

He pulls out his cricket bat and attacks with it with his right hand.

Then I was like, oh cool! He writes with his left, but attacks with his right, that's sick.

But then I wanted to go back to moments I remembered Charles using his cricket bat/other weapons, just to see, and I found out something even more interesting (at least to me).

During both instances in E1 where they have to fight someone, both the WWI ghost and Esther (the gif earlier), Charles uses his right hand for weapons, while drawing the demon sigil with his left (though he does use his right to set the paint brush down at the very end).

(When he cuts the mask off the ghost in their office he does use his left hand, but I'm not counting that because he was physically incapable of grabbing the knife with his right hand at that moment.)

However, despite the two instances of him using his right hand for combat purposes in E1, he seems to use his left in every other instance I can find.

Anyway, when I first was making this post I thought I was gonna find a cute fact out about Charles being ambidextrous fighting wise, but the fact that the only instances I can find of him using his right hand are in E1 is throwing me off.

Did the show originally plan to just have it be "Charles writes with his left and fights with his right" and that be it, but then realize it would be better if he just only ever used his left?

I don't know if that's the case, but I choose to run off with my original "he just uses whichever hand he feels like" theory and running away with it as a headcanon until someone proves me otherwise.

i think MK would mostly feel a sense of loss for the fact that in a way, things should have been like this, like when he “hatched” Wukong probably would have found him if it wasn’t for the fact someone or something brought it to Pigsy shop. He would have grown up with someone who could tell him how to be a stone Monkey and teach him his power. Surely, I think Wukong wouldn’t have been as good as a parent as Pigsy, and MK doesn’t regret a bit how things actually ended up happening, but it’s a bit of a case of “sometimes I imagine how my life would have been if it went this way”

you can barely hear your thoughts while your palm is smearing tears and mascara on your cheeks, when suddenly someone sits down next to you on the step, and strong arms hug you by the shoulders. you sniffle, looking up, and your childhood best friend!Leon looks at you, pursing his lips and waiting for you to say something. are you mad that he left you? it that why you're crying? do you even want him to be here now?

but with trembling lips you mutter a quiet "Leon...." and he breaks down, hugging you tightly and pulling you closer. making you sob louder when you bury your forehead in his shoulder, and he begins to soothingly stroke your hair, noting that you are still using the same shampoo with the baby smell of chewing gum

childhood best friend!Leon, who can't help but kiss your hair in the temple area while he soothingly whispers,

“Shh, come on, sweetheart.... Who did this to you?”

you are silent, and it upsets him. he knows that this is not enough for you, it never happened, so he continues, smiling slightly and muttering,

“I'm sorry.... Do you want me to kick his ass and beat the shit out of him?”

you're still silent for a bit, but then you ask softly, with a stuttering voice,

“With your backpack? Like when I was in first grade?”

he laughs softly in response to your words, smiling as he pulls back slightly to look into your eyes. his fingers stroke your cheeks, wiping away the remnants of tears and responding,

“Yeah, just like that.”

he raises one hand, leaving his little finger sticking out as he speaks, tremulously and tenderly,

“I promise. I'm your knight, right? I can't not protect my princess.”

you nod, gradually ceasing to sob and starting to smile stupidly as you hold out your little finger to him, quietly answering,

“I promise.... I missed you, Leon....”

“I missed you too... I’m sorry....”

he says in response, and you interlace your pinky fingers, like when you were kids, when you swore to be friends forever. You've still got to talk again, really talk, but there's nothing more important to him right now than knowing that you're okay. he repeats to himself in his head that you are the most important person to him, and you are happily thinking that your best friend and beloved knight has returned to you again. although the best friend of childhood!Leon still has to explain to Mrs. Kennedy later how he got the mascara stains on the shoulder of his only white shirt.
