What’s new in this update?:

Ciudad Enamorada and Ravenwood have been completely redone, added multiple new lots, updated other lots and provided make-overs for the households.

Added new households (when living in world; with jobs, friends, preferences etc).

Finished vacation worlds: Granite Falls and Selvadorada.

Finihed other lots: Hospital, Science Lab and the Police Station.

What do you get with this save?:

For my save file all lots are either completely new builds (almost all) or renovations, ofcourse created by me. Exception: I have added the official build for the release of the Paranormal SP by Dr Ashley to this save. This build is therefore not my own creation, credits are given in the description to Dr Ashley. The lots in newer worlds are largely created by GameChangers. The ratio is around 50/50 with my builds versus renovations (done by me but with the original as the base).

All the townies had make-overs plus I added new families to spice it up a bit. Some of the townies are made by other creators, who are given credits in the description of the household. All the townies in the different worlds have a story, some include sentiments and adjusted relationships to the story.

Added plenty of community lots to give your Sims something to do (YAY!). Almost every world has one restaurant, but it also includes festivals that represent the four seasons (park lots) and a fully functional shopping street in Magnolia Promenade (toy store, bridal store and more).

I have added rental lots so you can go on vacation in more worlds. For example in Sulani, Willow Creek and Windenburg.

Other details:

As mentioned at the beginning, this save uses almost all packs (except some kits). This means that if you download it without owning or installing most of the packs a lot of objects will disappear from the save, but if you are not bothered by this you can still download and play in it.  

I disabled the neigborhood action plan voting/environmental changes, you enable them again in the pack settings menu. I also disabled the neigborhood stories, you can enable them again in the household menu.

I would love to add some households in this save created by all of you! Add your household under the hashtag #fleuraliatownies in The Sims 4 Gallery, you can add a storyline and world in the description but thats not obligatory. If I respond on your creation it means that I have incorporated it in the save for the next update.

Sadly every game update comes with a lot of bugs. I suggest before reporting problems in the save to me, to check on forums if its related to a general bug/glitch or to mods (if you use them).

As said in my previous post I will be slowly starting on moving the builds and sims to a fresh save to help with bugs and incorporate fixes from the Sims team that only work in fresh saves (like Grimm not being able to woohoo). How to make it work in your game:

Download the save file from the link below.

Drag it in your saves folder under: PC/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves.

Change the numbers if you already have a save with the same name.

It should now show up in your game as: Fleuralia Save V 8.0.

Planting Plums Legacy Challenge by Plumbie and The Plum Family

Do you enjoy wholesome family gameplay, storytelling and the cosy side of The Sims 4? If so, the Planting Plums Legacy Challenge is for you.

My Inspiration For the Challenge:

My favourite aspect of The Sims is the family gameplay and all the stories that can arise from it. I love using the game as a vessel for telling stories, with that in mind, I thought I would create a legacy challenge built around all my favourite things in the game.

Each generation will have a focus on cosy and wholesome gameplay, primarily focusing on big families, but this doesn’t mean it will shy away from drama. It wouldn’t be realistic if I weren’t to include some sort of tension, so in each generation there will be conflicts but they will be mild and used in order to add depth to the family.

What Makes it Different:

One thing that separates this legacy challenge from the usual one is that I’ll be writing it one generation at a time. I’m doing this because I want to build this legacy with my community (the Plum family) on YouTube so that the Sims and stories will be a joint effort, making it a unique legacy due to the many inputs. It also means the story will grow organically, as it won’t necessarily be planned. This doesn’t mean you can’t take part in this legacy until we’ve reached the final generation because I’ve created the first generation, and we can play alongside as we grow the legacy.

The goal for this legacy challenge is to create a beautiful family that you’ll fall in love with and cherish all the members, even the troublesome ones. If this sounds like something you’d want to be part of, you can always comment, email or DM me your ideas for the legacy, as this is a community effort. So, let’s begin growing the family that will be known as the Plumtrees. 🌱🌸

General Rules & Packs Needed:

There won’t be any rules for this legacy challenge, as I want storytelling to be the focus point of it, but I’d recommend only using cheats if you absolutely need to use them, as sometimes, there is more fun and imagination in the limitations.

As of right now, you’ll need Cottage Living, Seasons and Get to Work. But if you don’t have these packs, feel free to adapt the challenge in your own way so that you can participate. Keep in mind the list of packs needed will grow bigger once the third generation is born.

Generation I: The Plum Seed

Some of your earliest memories were of running around your grandmother’s bakery, helping her bake all sorts of treats. You always said you’d take over her business when you were older, but sadly, when you were a child, she passed away, and your family couldn’t afford to keep the bakery.

As you became older, your passion shifted from baked goods to flowers. You found great comfort in creating all sorts of bouquets and writing down the different varieties of flowers, as they gave you the purpose you lost after your grandmother passed.

Growing up in a city meant nature was scarce; you spent time after school wandering around botanical gardens and finding wildflowers in the concrete, but this wasn’t enough, so the moment you became a young adult, you made the daring decision to move to an old cottage in Henford on Bagley.

Towering buildings and busy streets have been all you’ve ever known, so living in the sticks is going to take some getting used to, but as you stand on the doorstep of a new life, with baskets full of flowers, notebooks, baking ingredients and a dream to open a florist in the heart of the village, you feel that a slip in the mud won’t bother you a single bit.

R: I just feel really underdressed and tired.

V: Babe, this side of my life is about as normal and wholesome as it gets and you look amazing, as always.

R: Maybe I’m not in the socializing mood.

V: Do you want to head back home? We’re already here, might as well push through. My brother will understand remember he’s got a very pregnant wife.

R: I’m okay.

V: Well, if you change your mind just let me know.

R:Will do. How much older is your brother?

V: About 5 years, he acts like he's my dad though.

R: That bother’s you?

V: Sometimes, [shrugs] he can be a bit of a control freak.

R: He means a lot to you though.

V: What makes you say that?

R: The way you light up when you talk about him. Also, you never miss his calls. In fact you get upset if you don’t talk to him every week.

V: Are you calling me clingy?

R: I’m the same way with my dad, I just find it interesting.

V: I guess I just want him to stop worrying about me.

R: Then maybe stop giving him a reason to…

V: It smells good in here!

C: Hey Vin, welcome Reina. Nice to finally meet you.

R: Same, thank you for having me over.

C: Any time, this here is my wife Kitty and our daughter Maeve.

K: [Mae hides] She’s shy at first but she’ll warm up.

R: I get it, meeting someone new is a lot.

C: Well, Kitty made a mean meal let’s sit down and eat.

K: Reina, let us know if you need anything. We appreciate you coming after working and on short notice.

R: Thanks, it wasn’t a big deal.

C: Babe, I’ll set the table. Vin you mind giving Kitty a break?

V: You know I never say no to my princess, come here Mae!

C: So, Vinny told me that you just moved the city a few months ago. How are you liking it?

R: I visited it before but I feel like I’m still finding out stuff about it. I didn’t even know there was a suburb like this just outside of it.

V: I’ve been trying to show her more of the city but it’s hard when I’m in season.

R: How do you guys like New Crest?

K: It’s nice because it’s so family centered but we eventually want to make our way to Henford. That’s where my family is.

R: Vinny mentioned you’re not a city native either.

Kl: Not even close, but I love the city. I just get really home sick. Do you miss home too?

R: I miss my family, not so much the Valley. It’s hard to know who’s your friend or enemy over there.

C: I can see that, glad you’re liking it in the city then. Hopefully Vinny is being on his best behavior.

V: [smirks] Reina’s got a good leash on me, no need to worry there.

R: Was Cain the same when you met him?

K: [laughs] oh, he was worse. Yet look at me now? Married with soon to be two kids.

R: You both seem really happy though.

C: You meet the right person and it changes your perspective on life. Never thought I would be a dad.

V: He’s a great dad and husband- don’t let him fool you.

R: I can tell, Mae seems like a really happy baby.

K: Don’t let her give you baby fever now.

R: I’ve got a few nieces and nephews. No baby fever for me- Vin on the other hand.

K: [smiles] Mae has that affect, hence me being pregnant currently. Vinny mentioned you’re an actress?

R: Aspiring- I did a few day time tv shows. I’ve been trying to break into the cinema world but it’s taking a bit longer. I’ve been focusing on my online presence for the time being.

K: Well, if it’s a legal issue I could put you in contact with great lawyers.

R: I might take you up on that, my contract has been the root cause of my issues.

R: Thanks for the meal, it was delicious.

K: No problem. It feels good to make something we’ve been really bad at cooking now that we’re in the final trimester.

V: When dad moves in put his ass in the kitchen.

C: [laughs] that’s the plan. Hey, do you mind putting Mae to bed while I get these dishes cleaned?

V: Yeah, no problem.

R: You’re cute with your niece. Like a different version of yourself.

V: She thinks I’m a super hero so… I guess I want to keep that image up for her. What do you think about my brother?

R: He’s cool. To be honest, I like his wife better than him.

V: [laughs] Told you, everyone loves her.

R: They are really cute together. You can tell they were meant to be.

V: So what do you think? Think we can have a life like this?

R: Maybe in the future. I’m not really ready for all of this Vinny.

V: I’m not talking about right now, Reina. Who said you won’t get time alone? I work most of the day when I’m in season.

R: It’s my boundary, Vinny. I’m not ready for it. I already told you that you need therapy if you can’t bare the thought of living on your own.

V:Are you trying to hide something from me?

R: I don’t hide anything. You know that. If you feel that way then…

V: Therapy. Got it.

R: I’m not your brother’s wife. I can’t fix all your problems, Vin. You gotta do that for yourself. Not because you love me.

V: Sometimes I think you don’t like me.

R: Now that’s ridiculous.

V: Then prove it to me.

Ezra: Thanks for coming over. I know I’m probably the last person you wanted to see. Atlas: Not the last. Definitely the bottom of the list, but not last. Ezra: [awkward laugh] Atlas: …

Ezra: Um, so, how are you and your sister? Atlas: Are you kidding me? Ezra: What? Atlas: Can we cut the bullshit? We are not old friends catching up. Just tell me why you’re here.

Ezra: I moved to the Bay a few years ago. I swear, I had no idea you were out here, let alone that I was dating your sister-in-law. Atlas: I don’t understand. You left? Turned your back on all of it? Ezra: Yes. The town, the church, everything. Same as you. Atlas: Why? What changed your mind?

Ezra: I wouldn’t even know where to begin. But Henry was a big part of why I started questioning things, and then— Atlas: Henry? Ezra: [nods] He had a really hard time after you left. I realize now that talking him into staying was the worst thing I could’ve done. He was so unhappy. Atlas: Was? Is he…?

Ezra: No. No no no, sorry, he’s okay. He’s good now. Atlas: [sigh of relief] Ezra: About a year before I left, after a particularly awful night, I gave him what I could of my savings and helped him leave.

Atlas: So, how do you know he’s good now? Ezra: [pointing] Behind you.

Ezra: He traveled all over and sent me postcards along the way. Atlas: … Ezra: He found you, in San Myshuno. Atlas: Really? He never contacted me. Ezra: He said he saw you with someone, and that you looked happy. He didn’t want to disrupt your life, so he stayed away.

Ezra: Eventually, he settled down in Henford of all places. He has a small cottage where he raises chickens. Prize-winning eggs apparently. Atlas: [chuckles] That’s perfect. He always dreamed of a quiet life in the country. Sprawling green hills and blue skies and a bunch of smelly animals. For a while, he was obsessed with the idea of raising llamas.

Ezra: Really? He never told me that. Atlas: Not surprising. You always had a way of shitting on his dreams, tearing them down. Ezra: [incredulous] I did not. Atlas: Oh please, you did so. He thought the world of you, and you used him.

Ezra: I— Atlas: You are a self-righteous asshole who told yourself that you were looking out for him, “guiding him”, but the truth is, you made him feel small. In fact, I think you liked that he was gay because it made you feel superior. And now, what, you want a goddamn medal for getting him out of there when you were the reason he was stuck there in the first place?! You never cared about him. You just needed to ease your own conscience because you could no longer deny the damage you caused.

Ezra: You have no idea what you’re talking about. I’m the one that’s been by his side all these years. You’re the one who left! Atlas: I had no choice! And I tried to take him with me. But you stopped him. You made him feel like there was something wrong with him. You didn’t stay by his side because you cared about him. You kept him around to feed your fucking ego.

Atlas: How bad did things have to get, huh? How bad before you realized you couldn’t “fix” him? Before you realized you’re the one who fucking broke him?!

Ezra: Get out of my house. Atlas: Gladly.

Atlas: Stay the fuck away from me and my family. That includes Iris and Spencer.

Sims In Bloom: Generation 2 Pt. 135 (Heather's Home!)

Conrad was sitting in the kitchen with Lavender when Heather returned from Selvadorada. "Mommy!" Lavender squealed.

Heather beamed. She'd missed their joyful smiles, but she moved slowly, feeling nauseous again as her body still recovered from the spider bite. "You look a little green," said Conrad with concern.

"You should have seen me a few days ago," she mused. "It looks like the contractors finished the upstairs bedroom while I was gone."

"The snow melted just long enough for them to get it done," said Conrad, showing off the space where Ash would sleep once he returned from spending Easter with the Landgraabs. They both glanced out the windows, noting the falling snowflakes beginning to gather on the ground all over again.

Heather smiled. "Even if the snow doesn't want to leave the Bay, it feels like a new beginning. George and June's murder is solved and the town's doing okay. I'm back from vacation. New season. New bedroom."

"We've got new problems...."

Heather cocked her head in confusion. "Rafa still won't cooperate? We didn't have any trouble with cartels in Selvadorada."

"As relieved as I am to hear that, I'm worried they might've gotten to Rafa and it's holding him back. He won't give up Ximena, but I keep trying. I sent Felix to try to talk to him in Sulani after convincing Melissa didn't work."

"Felix is pretty persuasive," she said hopefully. "I saw on Social Bunny he has a new girlfriend."

"He charmed Lilith without much trouble," Conrad agreed with a nod. "But the same lines won't work on Rafa."

"You could always arrest him and force his hand," she reminded him, but she knew her suggestion would fall on deaf ears.

"It's not just Rafa and his sister," he said carefully. He didn't even know where to begin with John Brindleton's town history lesson, so he skipped it - for now. "I talked to Ash about Ben and his dog and he figured out by himself that his accident as a toddler made it possible for him to see ghosts. Felix confirmed it's the most likely explanation."

"Because he was...Oh my Watcher...So he just sees ghosts? Plural? What if they frighten him?"

"He's not even worried about it. Says he's never met a ghost that he didn't think was living. Doesn't even know if he's ever met more than Ben and Captain Whitaker." She leaned into him, feeling dizzy, and Conrad held out a hand to support her. "Are you sure you're okay?"

"Maybe I should lie down. Jet lag hit me on the way into the jungle, and it'll probably hit me again now that I'm home."

Conrad kissed her and put her to bed, taking Lavender to daycare on his way to work. Heather napped for most of the day, calling her parents to cancel plans to go to Henford for Easter dinner because the thought of spending an hour on the speedy Simmerloop made her feel as green as she looked. "I know Hazel's already in town for the weekend. That's good in case this is a flu or something."

"We're sorry we won't see you, but we just want you to rest if you're sick," said her father, Neal. "We'll miss your cooking, though."

"Maybe we'll make it to Henford for Mother's Day, if things aren't too hectic with the clinic rebuild."

"Get well soon, Buttercup. We love you."

"Love you, too."

She hung up the phone, content after a quick chat with her beloved dad despite her guilt over cancelling holiday plans. But she couldn't dwell for long on her feelings before she raced to the bathroom to be sick.

At work, Conrad was in the break room. While his coworkers talked about plans to celebrate his old partner Josephine's retirement party at the Salty Paw, he pulled himself away when his phone rang. "Felix! How's the beach?"

"It's not Felix." Rafa's tone curdled down the line. "He let me borrow his phone to tell you to screw off."

In the tropics, Felix rocked uncomfortably in his flip flops. "He didn't tell me that's what he wanted to say! I told him he might avoid prison entirely if he gives up his sister and he said he wanted to call you."

"And who the hell are you to promise something like that? You're just some weird lawyer who sounds a hundred years older than he looks!"

"Listen to Felix," Conrad urged, careful not to mention Rafa's name in front of his coworkers. "He's the most experienced attorney I know."

Even though Felix had passed the bar only recently, Conrad was telling the truth. He didn't know any other attorneys who'd practiced law as far back as the early 20th Century.

"If I get off with nothing but a slap on the wrist after selling my own sister up the river, the cartel will come for me, for sure."

"You said yourself they're not concerned with Sulani. I know what I'm asking you, and I wouldn't ask if I didn't need your help. She's been all but abandoned by the cartel. I'm sure of it. No one's visited her since she was put behind bars, but you know what she's capable of. You could keep her there, for your benefit as much as mine. Yours and Melissa's."

"You shouldn't have sent her here."

"But you weren't this mad when I did."

"Screw you, Conrad. And stop telling the Ngatas to spy on me. Oliana and her son come by every other day now."

"Maybe they care about you. I know what that's like."

The call ended with a click, and Conrad sighed. He was beginning to think he'd have to bring in the cartel to pressure Ximena, after all, but he didn't relish the possibility in the slightest. ->

The Sims 4 Theme LEPacy challenge

The idea behind the LEPacy challenge (originally created for Sims 3 by @simpishly was that each generation focused on a different expansion pack of the game. 

When I adapted it for The Sims 4 in 2019, I did not know that this game would continue on for so long, with no end in sight. It makes for an incredibly long challenge. I’ve decided that I will no longer update that, but create a new legacy challenge with a similar idea. 

With the Theme LEPacy, I have divided various Expansion, Game, and even some Stuff packs into 12 different gameplay themes. Some of these packs will show up in multiple generations because they have multiple themes in them. Each generation has options for various packs, so you do not need to have all of the packs to play them, but instead just the ones you want. 

You can also adapt it to your gameplay preferences, such as skipping the Occult generation entirely if that’s not gameplay you enjoy. 

I will update this challenge as needed, because future packs will no doubt fit into at least one of the themes. 

Not all Stuff Packs are represented, and I also didn’t fit Spa Day in. 

In the original LEPacy rules, and my Sims 4 LEPacy rules, it was suggested to wait to ‘unlock’ packs until you reached that generation. That is not necessary for this challenge. Have all the packs you want active. 

Notes: If there’s no mention of a particular career/way to make money, then do what you want. Same for number of children

Optional Rules over multiple generations: 

The “Family Home”

The lot you move to with your first generation becomes the “family home”. The traditional legacy rules has the family stay on one lot the whole time. Every generation has the choice to move to a new neighborhood, and all but two have the option of living in the “family home”. 

Heirlooms

The Family theme generation has a rule about having an heirloom if you have Life and Death. If you want to, and you have Life and Death, have an heirloom that carries with the main family line from the first generation through to the end. 

Family Cemetery

Create a family cemetery that all family members remains go to. You can do this with Base Game with a Generic lot type, or make one using Life and Death

Generation 1 - Career Theme

Packs: Get to Work, Get Famous, Dream Home Decorator

Starting in a new town, you know you need a good foundation for you and your future family to succeed, so you decide to focus heavily on your career, and to earn money to begin your legacy. 

Live in Willow Creek, Oasis Springs, Newcrest, or Del Sol Valley, or choose a lot in any neighborhood to be the family home

Have one of the following Active careers: Doctor, Scientist, Detective (Get to Work), Actor (Get Famous), or Interior Decorator (Dream Home Decorator)

Have a romance with one of your coworkers (Doctor, Scientist, Detective) or clients (Interior Decorator)

Have either the Mansion Baron or Fabulously Wealthy aspirations

Generation 2 - Love and Friendship Theme

Packs: Lovestruck, My Wedding Stories, Get Together

Your parent was always focused on their career, in an attempt to ensure the family had the best. It made for a very lonely childhood, so now you seek companionship in love and friendship

Stay in your family home or move to Ciudad Enamorada, Tartosa or Windenburg

(If you play with Get Together) Join or create a club based on your interests

Have a Popularity or Love aspiration (or Villainous Valentine)

Have at least 3 silver dates

Have at least 5 best friends

Date 3 separate people, either at the same time or different times. 

Have a successful wedding with either a Base Game or MWS wedding. 

Generation 3 - Farming and Animals Theme

Packs: Seasons, Cottage Living, Horse Ranch, Cats and Dogs

Your parent found love and affection in the people around them. You found love and affection in animals, and taking care of your plants.

Stay in your family home or move to Henford-on-Bagley, Brindleton Bay, or Chestnut Ridge

The Joy of Life Legacy - The Baker and Her Kids

Rosemary Boyer was living her dream of being a baker, finally. The bakery in Henford town was attracting more customers than she could handle, from local and from abroad. Unfortunately, not everyone was only there to get a taste of her homemade recipes. No, her husband, Jasper Boyer, a famous actor, had been featured in the news a lot lately… and not in the best light. Rosemary drowned herself in work and her children's education. Still, the fear of being alone had creeped in. It left her sleepless at night, turning from left to right until she couldn't bear it anymore and got up to occupy her mind with something. Oftentimes, that was knitting...

As the weeks went by, Rosemary spent a lot of time thinking and reflecting about her life’s choices. Also, she had started therapy and soon, if she could convince him, Japser would attend with her. For Rosemary, it was the fame that had poisoned their relationship. Japser was a global superstar, he had made a lot of money over the years - enough money for a life time. She knew acting was his passion but the entertainment industry was not as perfect and glamorous as it seemed to be. The parties, the alcohol, the drugs, the paparazzi, the fans- it was a lot. Too much. Twice they had tried to make their relationship work now. And they did love one another. But the rural, cozy life in a cottage Rosemary wanted didn't quite match with the lifestyle of a global superstar. Whatever would happen, one thing was for sure for her: Rosemary would never leave Henford on Bagley and her bakery behind.

The kids knew that something had gone very wrong between their parents.

Especially Peony Blossom was suffering a lot. She had aged up to a child in the beginning of spring and gotten the "gloomy" trait. She was very sensitive and often couldn't quite express her emotions to her siblings or even her mother. She saw her mother was in pain and didn't want to add to that. The result were a lot of sleepless night for her, too, and crying sessions in bed. Thankfully, her furry friends never left her alone. Flake and Felix were always around to give her some comfort.

Briar Rose was closely in touch with their father. She was convinced that he had left because of her mother’s jealousy. Jasper often called her multiple times per day, while he never called Peony and very rarely called Finn Wilder. Finn was very much the opposite of Briar, he had seen his father at his lowest, coming back drunk and stoned from after parties in Del Sol Valley. He knew that his father had developed a problem and was refusing to admit it to everyone, and most importantly, to himself. It made him furious and he felt rather protective about his mum, especially towards his sister. Briar herself was a bit star struck and hoped to step into the world of fame herself one day. She understood the lifestyle her father chose to live and had actually asked him to introduce her to some influential names… Her dream was to become the best chef anyone had ever seen and to work in the celebrity restaurant in Del Sol Valley- and maybe own it, one day.

I decided to skip ahead a tiny bit, so Jasper and Rosalie are adults now and Peony obviously a child. I didn’t post their birthdays but the kids next birthdays I will! Also ignore the 5000 outfit changes you know our sims are never content to only wear one outfit per day 🤣

Day 16 - Challenge Day

If you were hoping we'd make our way around to Henford-On-Bagley, then today's your lucky day! It was a long flight, but we've finally made it to the rolling hills of this countryside region!

A local gardener as enlisted our help in the care of two oversized pumpkins. They're almost fully-grown, but the gardener is on vacation and won't be home in time to harvest their crops!

That's where our challenge comes in. The teams will spend 24 hours off-the-grid in these makeshift cabins we built, doing their best to not just survive, but also to take care of the oversized pumpkins! The pumpkins will be harvested after the 24 hours are over, and the team that has the heaviest pumpkin will win first class and invincibility!

Today's Confessional: Alanna Castillo

"Oh my goodness, I think this challenge- and this neighborhood- is gonna give me so many ideas for my writing. I can feel the gears in my head starting to turn! I'm imagining there's this country girl living in a cabin like the ones we'll have, and she makes her living growing oversized pumpkins! Ugh! It's such a cute idea for a character, I wish I had paper so I can write all this stuff down!"

Our 24 hours begin with both teams taking initiative on the pumpkins! Estrello (IN) and Raylan (OD) water them both to ensure proper hydration

The pumpkins don't need constant supervision, so in a way this challenge is essentially a bonus socialization day too! Matteo (IN), of course, made sure to entertain himself with some singing, which attracted most of the contestants to Team Integrity's cabin to hear him! It got pretty crowded in there... The cabins are pretty tiny 😂

Meanwhile, Marilyn (OD) decided to spend her time exploring the neighborhood and came across a white fox! Nite (OD) caught up with her and the two had a nice time observing the fox together

Marilyn and Nite eventually returned to their cabin and spent time with Touma (OD). Meanwhile, Alanna (IN) and Estrello (IN) spent most of their day together (with Nite observing approvingly). These two have been spending a lot of time together lately and have been getting very close!

However, things aren't looking so bright for Elio (IN). They've been feeling dizzy and within the last few hours they developed swirly rashes all over their skin... Seems to me that Elio is sick!

Normally, we cure any illnesses right away with our generous stock of medicine, but since we're in an off-the-grid challenge and not in the plane, Elio will have to deal with their illness until the challenge ends... Team Integrity gave Elio a free pass on challenge participation and had them rest on one of the beds inside the cabin

As I said before, the cabins are tiny, so we were only able to fit 2 beds inside each cabin. With not enough beds for everyone, the teams have to make important decisions on who sleeps and who doesn't. Marilyn goes inside to find that both beds are occupied, while Matteo was quick to claim a bed for himself so he wouldn't lose out on beauty sleep 😴

In the end, morning eventually comes and the teams ended up sleeping in shifts so everyone could get some sleep. Tomiko (OD) is awake bright and early to make some salad for herself! She eventually joins Nite in caring for their team's pumpkin one last time before the 24 hours are up.

Meanwhile in Team Integrity, it was Matteo who volunteered to care for his team's pumpkin!

RESULTS:

WOW! This result is EXTREMELY close, but in the end...

TEAM INTEGRITY WINS!

Congratulations once again, Team Integrity! First class and invincibility are yours once again!

Hinoki insisted on moving into Kale's room to dote on her offspring so Townie Dave got shunted to Milkshake's enclosure.

Townie Dave is having a rougher second day on the job. It's hard dealing with a surprise visit from your soon to be mother-in-law who seems to hate you, and learning that death is quite literally always looming over one shoulder.

What’s new in this update?:

Chestnut Ridge and Tomarang have been completely redone, added multiple new lots, updated other lots and provided make-overs for the households.

Added new households (when living in world; with jobs, friends, preferences etc).

Added rental lots in multiple other worlds outside of Tomarang (Brindleton Bay, Henford-on-Bagley, Britechester and more).

Spooky Fall Festival has been moved to Chestnut Ridge (bigger with haunted house ride). The old lot in Brindleton Bay has been changed into a cemetery.

What do you get with this save?:

For my save file all lots are either completely new builds (almost all) or renovations, ofcourse created by me. Exceptions: I have added the official builds for the releases of the Paranormal SP by Dr Ashley and the Dream Home Decorator GP by Deligracy to this save, since I thought they deserved a spot. These two are therefore not my own creations, credits are given in the description to Dr Ashley and Deligracy. Mt. Komorebi, Henford-on-Bagley, Tartosa, Moonwood Mill, Copperdale, San Sequoia and Chestnut Ridge lots are largely created by GameChangers. Most lots have gotten smaller updates, others are completely new builds by me.

All the townies had make-overs plus I added new families to spice it up a bit. Some of the townies are made by other creators, who are given credits in the description of the household. All the townies in the different worlds have a story, some include sentiments and adjusted relationships to the story.

Added plenty of community lots to give your Sims something to do (YAY!). Almost every world has one restaurant, but it also includes festivals that represent the four seasons (park lots) and a fully functional shopping street in Magnolia Promenade (toy store, bridal store and more).

I have added rental lots so you can go on vacation in more worlds. For example in Sulani, Willow Creek and Windenburg.

Other details:

As mentioned at the beginning, this save uses almost all packs (except Journey to Batuu and some kits). This means that if you download it without owning or installing most of the packs a lot of objects will disappear from the save, but if you are not bothered by this you can still download and play in it.  

I disabled the autonomous fame gain and neigborhood action plan voting/environmental changes, you enable them again in the pack settings menu.

I would love to add some households in this save created by all of you! Add your household under the hashtag #fleuraliatownies in The Sims 4 Gallery, you can add a storyline and world in the description but thats not obligatory. If I respond on your creation it means that I have incorporated it in the save for the next update.

Sadly every game update comes with a lot of bugs. I suggest before reporting problems in the save to me, to check on forums if its related to a general bug/glitch or to mods (if you use them).

My day starts with my paper delivery job. Oh, yes, I guess I never mentioned that I do have a new job? Just something to supplement my jewelry thing as a little extra income never hurts and the job is easy enough. Drop papers at doorsteps and move on, that's it!

When I do make it home I find a surprising little bowl of stew sitting right on my counter. This must be the work of Niklas, who else would randomly do me a kindness like this? My only question is, did he make it with magic or cook it by hand?

And hey, whether it was made with a dash of magic or pure culinary skill it was pretty good all the same! Seriously, what doesn't he do? Maybe he's just showing off at this point.

In the middle of my meal Niklas strolls out of my restroom, as if he lives here, mind you, and asks if I'm enjoying the food. Honestly, yes, I am. Okay, alright, it's about a 6 out of 10 but it gets 2 bonus points simply because I didn't make it.

"So did you sprinkle a bit of magic in it?" I can't help but ask, it's a harmless question, but I imagine if I could make my dishes better with magic, I would.

"No? I mean I guess I could but-"

"Could you make the perfect meal with a touch of magic?"

"I guess you could? Never tried it though," he admits and from the look on his i can tell he's never really thought about it. He really doesn't like using his magic, huh?

"You really don't like using your watcher given abilities, do you?" I can't help but shake my head as he's made that very clear. It's a little frustrating. Having so much power at the tips of your fingertips and denying it all.

"Honestly, Grace, the whole bit is overrated."

"You keep saying that and yet just last night you waved your hands around and poof, clean tub. Just that alone is amazing."

But he's not convinced, he's shaking his head as if I don't get it at all and takes a deep breath before continuing. "The Realm and all it deals with is not only overrated but dangerous. The regular person lives a nice and safe calm life while we? Well, we could be called upon to face horrors you could never imagine."

"Well..." I falter behind his gaze just a bit because who wouldn't when facing unimaginable horrors? "I umm, yeah, I guess it's that whole great power great responsibility thing then."

"It's exactly like that."

"Alright then...but still, I don't see anything wrong with a little sprinkle of magic to make a pasta just a pinch better."

"I could try, mess up, and accidentally poison your food and you'd be in the hospital right now instead of just eating an average bowl of soup."

Ok, I guess I get his point.

So the man wants the normal life. I can't blame him for that. It sounds like he wants to just move to Henford and live out the rest of his days there or something, I don't know. Again, I can't blame him for that but personally...I'd like to be able to do something magical. I guess it is true, you always want what you can't have, unlesssss you want to soak in milk I guess and relax. You can absolutely have that.

Magic or no magic I am handling my bills pretty well. Thankfully, this place isn't too pricey so I can manage. It always feels good to have things under control financially.

Especially when I can sell a piece of jewelry for 1k. It's not a fortune in the grand scheme of things but it's enough to cover rent and still have simoleons left over. A little breathing room helps!

With the rain pouring down outside I can only decide to settle at my computer for the evening and dive into video games. There really isn't much else to do in my little place especially with Niklas off doing whatever he does. So it should be a quiet and peaceful night. Just me, the rain, and my laptop.

At least that was the plan but it looks like I'll be having a late night visitor.

Standing at my doorstep in the middle of a storm is none other than Lilja, the vampire I met earlier in the spring. Our first meeting was strange and now I can't help but wonder what brings her here on this rainy night. It's hard to tell from her expression as it is completely neutral and her eyes, cold and seemingly lifeless, stare right through me.

"So, may I?"

"Come in, you mean?" I ask, stupidly. Of course she needs an invitation. She's a vampire. "Y-yes, I guess so."

"Thank you."

"So, you're not going to like abuse my invitation, are you?"

Lilja chuckles softly at my question, amused in that delicate way of hers. "No, if I wanted to take you then you would have been taken," she says with precision. Perhaps she's right. I have been a little casual with my night time activities but she has made it clear that she's not out to harm me.

"So, then," I take a steady breath and gather my courage. "What brings you here? Despite the fact that I don't remember giving you my address or anything." But I'm sure she's been stalking me. Vampires are natural born stalkers, I might not know much about them but I do know that.

"Did you know that there was a ward put up around your house?" she asks that question with a tilt to her head, as if she is testing me.

"What? Yeah, a magician friend put one up, I'm not sure why-"

"Friend huh?" She gives me a knowing look. Does she know about Niklas? "It was a very weak ward but it did tingle just a little bit, it seems your wards are...weakening."

"Yeah, he's..." I trail off but then stop myself. Why am I explaining this? "Are you stalking me?"

"Watching you, did you forget our deal?"

"I..." guess I have. "Can you remind me again?"

"The blood magic," she says, watching me, her eyes intent and focused upon my expressions. "Do you remember?" and so it comes back to me, the deal, the offer of her maker willing to teach me blood magic. It felt theoretical at the time but now it feels much more concrete.

"I-, yes, I do remember now. Is it difficult to learn?"

"No, just costly."

"Costly? May I ask why you're willing to do this? What is in it for you and your umm...maker?"

"Everything," the weight of that word brings silence and for a moment I'm not sure what else to say. "The Realm have hunted our kind to near extinction and only the help of a blood witch can save us now."

"Oh," so am I the chosen one? "You can't just find someone else?"

"It is in your blood, your mother-"

"Yes, yes, she was a blood witch, I know."

"I am inviting you back to the castle," she says, and I'm reminded me that she had warned me against coming back because her maker might attack me again and she sees that concern and memory in my eyes. "He rests still, he is still weak. He needs...blood."

"Umm, yeah, sure, since you are inviting me I guess, does Saturday work."

"Yes, sounds perfect."

I'm not sure what the time is but I am getting a little uncomfortable with her here. "Umm, now, it's getting kind of late for me so if you don't mind..."

"I have to say, this was an unexpected surprise, but not an unwelcome one. Can I get you anything? There’s a chardonnay chilling that will knock your socks off. And a few other things too, but we can take our time with that."

"Uh, Minty? I assume we’re on pet name terms, or we’re about to be. If it’s the chardonnay, I can have something else brought up."

"Listen, between you and me, when you get us five star celebrities between the sheets? We’re just Some Guy. Well, some of us anyway. "Funny how that works. So, you thought that you were texting my brother? And in spite of having at your fingertips the hottest commodity in the entire Simsverse - ie. my own personal private number - you decided that you’d rather attempt a night of passion with that doofus instead?"

"I did, er, bring some wine myself. It’s an aged Chestnut Ridge red from our cellar, and I had thought that Dodo-"

"Totally wasted on him. Give me that."

"Thank you, by the way, for being so nice about this."

"Nice? Ha. I thought you lived on some Henford estate, not beneath a rock. But I’m not a creep. If you don’t one hundred percent want to be here, then I don’t want you here. Period. Go downstairs and get a massage or something. It looks like you need it."

"I may do just that."

"Wait - let’s check that you have my brother’s number right. You may have picked the wrong twin, but there’s nothing wrong with your taste in wine. And if you and Dodo don’t work out, then I’m always happy to mentor a promising up-and-comer." (winks)

3.171 Happy birthday to ya

When it got closer to party time, Sophia and I moved the couch to the backyard for more seating options. Our parties always end up fragmented with some sims eating in the house and others on the patio. My goal is to keep everyone together, so hopefully this will help. We also moved the picnic blanket and put the portable crib outside to accommodate the little ones. Because we're friendly again, I invited Yasmine and her girls, but she declined. She doesn't know the other guests and didn't want anyone asking questions about Stacey. I completely understood but feel bad for her. This spellcaster business has really trapped her and the girls in their home.

Apart from my baby aging up, I'm most excited about having Dub and his family in our home for the first time. Between the deaths and parenthood, it's been super hard for us to connect lately. I guess I was naïve enough to believe it would be easier being in the same city, but life keeps proving it doesn't matter where we are. Life is going to life, and that's that. I suppose I'll have to be more intentional about hanging with him too.

"You got it smelling good out here, bro," a voice says from behind me.

That Henford accent is unmistakable, and I was so glad to hear it. I turned around and embraced him.

"Wassup, man! Did you find us okay? Welcome! Finally!"

"Right? Took you long enough!"

"Don't even play, man. You know how life is sometimes."

"Sure do. This house is nice! And the view!"

"Thanks. If you're able to stick around later, I'll give you the tour. Hey, where's Maia? Is she coming?"

"Yeah, she's running a little late. She's just finishing up a project for a client."

"Ahhh. See? San Sequoia has been good to you already. I'm glad her business is picking up."

There's no way Dub showed up alone, so I looked around for Tambara, knowing she couldn't be too far behind. I spotted her toddling across the yard, trying her best to catch up with her daddy.

"She's getting to be extremely independent these days," Dub said when he realized I was watching her. "She won't even let us pick her up anymore. I don't mind that so much, but waiting for her really slows me down."

"She'll get faster," I said, thinking about Desiree's determination. "Just give her time."

Tami and Desi look nothing alike, but I see glimpses of the immediate future in her proud face and wobbly gait. I want Desi to grow up and change the world, but I can't part with my little girl. At the same time, I'm anxious to see her continue to grow. I love watching her smash these milestones like the boss baby she is. Ugh. Fatherhood is just a melting pot of contradictions. How can I be happy and sad, proud and scared at the same time?

Tami finally made her way over to us, so I waved.

"Hey there! Do you remember me? I'm Luca. That's a pretty dress."

Her face lit up, and I knew it didn't matter if she remembered me or not. I was currently her new bestie. Flattery works at all ages, hee hee.

"What do you say when someone gives you a compliment?" Dub asked.

"I know," she shouted.

Me and Dub had a good laugh. She's so precocious, and I love it. Kids really do say the darndest things, and I can't wait to hear what Desi will have to say. Hopefully that's not a be careful what you wish for situation, heh.

"That's right, Tam," I said. "You better know it."

"How are you holding up?" Dub asked, wiping the smile off my face.

"I'm good. As good as I can be, rather. It gets a little better every day."

"I'm glad to hear it. I can't even think about what that's going to be like."

"It might sound morbid, but you should start thinking about it, man. It's the shock that's hard to get over."

"You play dollies with me," Tambara shouts.

That was probably supposed to be a question, but she's too excited about her new, big friend and it's too cute.

"Oh, no," Dub says to me. "You start that and she'll never let you go."

She's adorable, looking just like both of them. I hope she and Desi will like each other. It'll be a shame to have them fighting or snubbing each other when we hang out.

"You can play with Desiree later, okay?" he says.

"Speaking of... We should probably get this show on the road soon. Let me finish these ribs."

Sims In Bloom: Generation 2 Pt. 145 (A Promotion and The Updated Salty Paw!)

Newlywed life for Heather and Conrad was just as blissful as life before their marriage - with an added dose of steam from Heather's pregnancy libido! Despite this, she made sure to get plenty of rest throughout her first trimester, as the family settled into life preparing for baby number three.

Conrad's work solving the murder of the Brindletons and putting Ximena behind bars had impressed the chief, and she called him into her office one afternoon at the precinct.

"I just got a call from San Myshuno, lieutenant. Ximena's trial just finished, and the judge handed her a forty-year sentence. I know how difficult this case was, and how personal, but you never let the department down."

"I just want to keep everyone safe," he said humbly.

"I saw the verified documents from the Brindletons' safe deposit box. If I didn't know you were just that kind of guy, I'd assume it really was fate you showed up in your ancestors' town to serve and protect when we needed you most."

"I'm not a hero, chief."

She laughed. "No, not a hero, but we need a strong captain like you to keep this place going. It'll mean more time talking to the press. I know you don't love being front and centre, but if you handle most reporters like you do Malcolm Landgraab and Simlandia National, you'll do great. Do you think you're ready to take on the responsibility, captain?"

Conrad nodded. "Of course, chief. I'd be honoured."

Captain Conrad Gordon met his wife at home that night to announce his promotion, and they headed down to Fisherman's Wharf for dinner with Suri and Hazel at the slightly-improved Salty Paw.

The rebrand so far involved slightly changing up the interior, adding an espresso bar at the take-out window, and fixing up the upstairs apartment.

"It's really not much, but I want to slowly change more over time," explained Suri. She didn't want the place to seem unrecognizable to locals until The Salty Paw (she'd officially dropped the 'Saloon') built up its own loyal patrons.

Heather and Conrad viewed the updated interior with a smile, content their investment had gone to good use. "It's eclectic right now, with some old and some new. We might not keep the updates and eventually just go all out to redecorate, but we want to keep the dockside vibe and we have to make sure the place is profitable first," explained Suri. "And the whole reason I fell in love with the Salty Paw is the takeaway window and open air kitchen, which I never want to lose. It's always busy when I'm brewing at the espresso bar!"

After dinner, they left the bartender to manage the floor, taking Hazel's family upstairs to check out the studio apartment. They hung out, chatting about little things and enjoying each other's company, until Lavender mentioned the thing she wasn't supposed to talk about.

"We can watch Dating Deanna on the TV!" She looked at her parents expectantly as the room grew quiet. Lavender cocked her head in confusion. "What I said?"

"You guys are watching that? Aren't dating shows not really for four-year-olds?"

Heather shrugged. "She barely knows what's going on and thinks the girls are pretty. She doesn't even remember Nicola at this point, but she knows Conrad and I filmed a bit with Shelley's Animal Haven for a future episode, and she's excited about it."

"What does it matter if people watch the show?" Suri asked. "My grandmother said everyone in Henford's tuning in to see how well Ms. Moody-McMillan represents their town."

"She did okay," said Ash, matter-of-factly, without realizing Hazel maybe didn't want to know. "She's not outgoing like some of the other girls, but Deanna has a crush on her!"

Hazel sighed. "I'm sorry, I really don't care that it's on, but sometimes I wish the show had cast someone else's ex-wife," she said. "I know that's my problem, not hers. I'm happy for Nic, and I hope she falls in love. Really!"

Lavender looked between the grownups while her mother added an adblocker to Hazel and Suri's computer.

(It'd be nice if sims just hopped on computers when visiting other sims' homes a lot less!)

WCIF: Heather and Gord are asleep on the sofa with @simmerberlin's Large Dog poses, and I love this one so much!

NOTE: Curse Lovestruck's relationship system! Heather being pregnant and horny made their wholesome dynamic flip to steamy and I accepted it, but that was such a mistake! They became very unsatisfied very quickly because that's not their usual vibe, and their relationship was red, not pink, in actual seconds. I couldn't do anything to fix it and honestly gave up trying very quickly! I hated it so much I cheated them back to wholesome and now they're both very satisfied again, but there was no reason for that about face, it's not canon, and I didn't have time to bring it back to normal without a cheat. No regrets whatsoever.

NOTE 2: Above is the new upstairs floorplan, and the screenshot below gives a basic idea of the change in layout to the second floor. I'm using @littlemssam's Live-In Business mod to designate their private apartment, which they can invite friends and family into but patrons stay out. The mod may become obsolete after the next expansion, but I'm holding off on getting the next pack right away for fear it could be glitchy, so I'll keep using the mod it until it breaks, probably.

Due to lack of space they don't have their own bathroom, and you might notice they currently have no shower. I will fix this, but for now I never play their household long enough for their hygiene to drop too low. And the espresso bar is placed with moveobjects on because I need that takeaway window. It's the heart of the whole lot!

As for the restaurant interior on the main floor, I don't adore it but it's a big space I have little patience to work in. So if anyone likes designing restaurant lots in this game and wants to be Suri and Hazel's interior designer, hit me up lol! I'm really not kidding.
