And with a high friendship but only 12 points in romance, Jayla is the lucky sim. She’ll be heading offsite for a date.

The group arrived last night to meet the household’s newest addition: Jon Bon Pony. They won’t be training him as such - merely taking care of him and helping him get accustomed to sims.

In spite of Cassie’s best efforts, I think we’ve now lost Struan. 

As Mister prepares breakfast, we say hi to our new wall feature: eliminated contestants. With Lee having scarpered off before Lilac could capture his likeness, she works on a piece that encapsulates her feelings towards him instead.

After his first night in a new place, Jon Bon Pony is a little scared, but is soon consoled by Struan. Indeed, I’ve yet to see him look at any woman the way he gazes adoringly at that horse. Let’s see if Lilac can sway his attention during their solo date later.

Also I’m sorry that the tv premiere was so awful for you, Jon Bon Pony. But perhaps you're a shade too young for Game of Llamas?

Lilac discusses art with Jayla, and for some reason it costs them friendship points?

Someone not waiting for Struan to get his head back in the game is Cassie. She confesses her attraction to Lilac, and they soon make their way to somewhere a little more private, which means: chore montage hour!

Jayla gardens, Tiago fishes, we’re running low on bread so Mister cooks up a few more loaves, while Struan checks in on his child, Jon Bon Pony.

They've wrapped up by now, so it’s time for Struan and a ‘refreshed’ Lilac to head off for their solo date.

As per usual, I have Lilac perform one friendly and one flirty interaction during these, then the rest is up to the pixels.

While Lilac is crushing hard and Struan’s romance bar is not in the red by any means, there’s a lot of goofing around and pranks between these two - and if anything Struan seems more eager to get back home to his four legged child. 

It’s tough balancing romance with being a single parent.

Jayla arrives, and after a tense game of DON’T WAKE THE LLAMA, gains a sentiment from Lilac.

Just when I think that these two are destined for Friendsville, Jayla compliments Lilac’s appearance - and Lilac has never needed much in the way of encouragement…

The Don Diaries

So, who keeps an eye on Matteo when Don is out being a fuccboi? The obvious answer is "the nanny", but not your average sweater vest-wearing elder. Considering his erratic schedule and wanting to give Matteo some stability, Don has decided to hire a nanny to live in the penthouse full-time.

And thus, Dani the Nanny joins the household.

Dani started out strong by immediately developing a massive crush on her new employer. Yeah, this is not gonna become a problem ever.

Anyways, Dani is going to keep an eye on Matteo whenever Don is out whoring or strung out or being a workaholic. She's also in university, working her way through a degree in Communications.

Speaking of whoring, Don has been shaking things up lately by meeting his dealer here.

This allows him to pick up new supplies while enjoying the questionable dancing skills of Dead-Eyed Bethany here.

Sometimes he even treats himself to a private dance, and he has developed a particular fondness for this girl, allegedly named Chantel.

Apparently, Chantel is also fond of Don and gives him special treatment. Some things are free when you're San Myshuno's greatest lover.

Some things are, however, also super illegal, so we quite literally pick up speed and get out while we still can.

But not before we text our main crush, Shayla the Redhead from the romance festival. Smooth, Don.

While Don sleeps off his nightly escapades, Dani is busy being awesome and giving Matteo the attention he deserves.

While Matteo takes a nap, Dani makes use of Don's home gym. Being the live-in nanny for a tech millionaire has its perks.

Don finally wakes up and goes to check out Dani's ass mentor her running.

Matteo also wakes up and joins them, and if it wasn't for the fact that Don is incredibly high on amphetamines right now, this would be rather idyllic.

Dani even gets to meet grandpa Nicolo who randomly stops by, and they hit it off immediately. Matteo is clearly in good hands.

When she goes to bed that night, however, Dani briefly gets stuck under her murphy bed in the spare office where she sleeps and uh... no. We are not going in this direction. We are also not getting anyone's stepsister stuck in the dryer, I don't even understand how these things are supposed to happen.

RL Story

Time has come to say goodbye. I hate farewells! You might think it would be a routine for us, but it never felt easier than the times before. In addition, our little one has become accustomed to his Dad now. I think it’s because he was a few months older and because N. stayed with us at home, longer than usual. I noticed that the two have finally gotten closer. I have often left Nico alone with Lucas for several hours and our son has never cried, which was unusual. But, as it turns out, this had changed. I was very happy about it.

It wasn’t easy for me to leave the two alone at first. But if I don’t trust N., how should our son do it, or learn to trust his Dad? That’s why, I’ve retired and let Nico do. Since N. helped me with our Baby, I was not so tired anymore and and in general I was much better. The last three months were nice, perfect! I wish he could stay home. 😢

During our time together at home, I noticed some.... new things about Nico, that I honestly didn’t know before. Like... that he reads a lot. I’ve never seen Nico with a book before!! I talked to him about it. I think the last few months without soccer were pleasant for him. He is usually only busy with soccer. He practices for hours every day! There are certain goals he must achieve, and he is under enormous pressure to perform. Also this little time off he had now, will have a negative impact on his career. He knew that! That’s why he was so angry when they sent him home, because of his injuries. But that’s what happened! He can’t change it. He will now have to work twice as hard as usual just to catch up. Which also means I won’t see him for a long time. 😞😢Our son also not! He’ll forget him again. 😞

Things will change for me. My health started to get worse from that point on. Nevertheless, it will still be about a year, before I get this horrible diagnosis of leukemia. Shortly after that, Sandra will also.....well you know, what I mean.

Oh, and why Bianca called Daniel a drug dealer the other day was a misunderstanding. Philip mentioned something about Daniel that night in the club and Bianca heard it. He also told her the whole story about D., me, and him, weeks before. After that, I was mad at Philip.😒

Let’s return once more to EVIL Chopin.

In spite of his shiny new ceasefire with Spencer, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows for Caden. He gets stung by bees (while he was way over at the chicken coop just minding his own business) and seeks out reassurance from Giovanna.

No, Caden, the Watcher isn’t out to get you - well, no more so than anyone else, that is.

Giovanna is having a much better time. Announcing our ever first giant crop! She names it Jack-E-Chan.

After this expression of gratitude from Spencer has concluded (really, I think she gets it by now), Lilac avoids waking the llama with Giovanna and Forest, attempts to chat with Briar…

… but Briar had some hot girl shit to do or something 🤔

At this point in the game, the pixels pretty much skill grind on their own - well, at least our two most upstanding citizens (Caden and Giovanna) anyway.

When next I checked on Briar, she’d made it all the way over to the caretakers’ cottage.

Bet Michael Bell was pleased to show up for work that day 😏
