When I said I was currently working on a bit more ‘drawing stuff’, I fucking meant it. No quick art like the last few ones this time, nah screw that, this one’s actually gonna get some effort out into it!

Not just one but TWO-

Ok now listen… I honestly wasn’t planning on posting screenshots like these on here at all since I didn’t really plan or ever think about showing any wips on my account before as I usually only show the drawings and stuff when they’re fully done.

But since I am a little unsure about how long these are gonna take to work on this time, I guess it wouldn’t hurt to post at least a few sneak peaks and plus they don’t really show THAT much.. right?

So yeah, have these for now and plus it’s already getting pretty close to bed time for me.

In case you’re wondering, the first is a comic that will be about or at least supposed to be like 3 big pages. And the second is just a big (kinda I guess) drawing.

And yes, they’re both New Ninja AU related. AGAIN.

Oh and uh actually, I am still planning on working on my own version/ headcanons of the Norisu Nine (aka First Ninjas dead family) and I am going to very soon, like i really want to so bad man it’s been on my mind for almost AGES!!! These two just are being worked on a bit more and on the side.

Hi again! This is the same anon who sent the ask about the Paint In Red AU relating to Dev using a wish. I'm so flattered you thought it was a good idea! I've loved all the AU stuff you've made so far so that's like a great compliment in my book. Anyway, I actually had some more takes if you're interested! I imagine that at some point after the wish Dev would manage to steal one of the anti-fairys wands, most likely Irep's, since we've seen humans can use a wand to grant wishes themselves. Because why ask Irep to grant his wishes when he can do it himself, especially since Irep is one of the people who turned their back on him. Cue Dev using the wand to take revenge on those he believes have slighted him or are a risk to remaining in power. Anyway sorry for all the anon asks! I'm just very nervous about doing it not anonymously, even tho I've sent a few anon asks by now and you've answered them lol

First off, apologies for the delayed response. Yesterday was my last big plan after over a month of lots of big plans and doctors appointments and stuff. I am exhausted, buuuuut hoping to get back into the swing of things with art and whatnot again now that it's over!

As a start, here's a first pass sketch at a concept I've had in mind for a while for the Paint in Red au. Dev does get his hands on an anti-fairy wand--a very particular anti-fairy wand in fact. Once Dev's wish to not care anymore is granted, he loses any and all attachments and hesitations that were previously preventing him from... getting rid of the few people who hurt him more than anyone: his father, of course, but now also Irep as well, who shunned Dev for his father at the drop of a hat and took what little attention Dale was finally giving Dev away.

Dev combines the, ahem, trophies from them with what remains of Peri's wand after his death to create his own unique wand! It's half fairy, half anti-fairy, so even in the event of the Big Wand being taken back by the fairies, he'll still have magic to support himself! He's really quite clever, once he no longer cares about all those silly feelings :)

(Also never apologize about using anon! I tend to prefer anon sometimes myself! That's what its there for! Do whatever you're most comfortable with!)

Honestly it was all just an excuse to turn him down and have Scriabin call Edgar his “landlord” haha; I was feeling nostalgic and went back to reread some old YuGiOh fics and had been so long away that I forgot that was a term used in the fandom to refer to the bodies of people the various Yamis would take over hehe ♪ It felt very fitting!

I can call him that but don’t you call him that >:(

Handplates re/reading doodles!! Hghgh!!! The theses of these stories of codependent relationships cut me to my very core I’ll have you know 💕 I managed to avoid falling down the rabbit hole of Handplates!Vargas but I was this close, lemme tell you. The subtle shift in phrasing changes so much ;; I love them dearly

A kind-of leftover WOY style Scriabin, since I made his hair all pointy in my first doodles - the WOY style is quite soft and round! He looks very silly hehe

Another song that is, yes, unironically in my Vargas playlist. This is a Nny song to me and you can pry it from my cold dead correct hands. That beautiful facial hair ♪

More Handplates/Vargas, this time obviously inspired by my holiday request 💕💖💞 I honestly rather like how calm Gaster seems whenever he’s in Edgar’s vicinity, he is a fairly unassuming human haha. Is it because he doesn’t laugh very often? Oh no that’s sad actually haha

I’m not done with Blank Slate Ch. 4 just yet - hopefully soon! - but this lineup stands out to me especially since I made it while rereading Handplates. Specifically after Gaster is pulled out of the Void - Gaster having to face the people he loves who have no memory of him really spoke to me in a Blank Slate way - the scenario of being able to completely start over and have never done anything to hurt your loved ones, at the expense of never having done anything to them, as far as they’re concerned, ah! It hurts so beautifully!! That’s one of the central themes I’m chasing so it was so cool to see in that context! Very inspiring ♥

I also happened to catch this screenshot of the Todds gossiping about their shadow-dad, though I’m not sure who had seen him :0 By now I have found an adoption memory-loss prevention mod - thank goodness :D - but it wasn’t installed at the time! :0 Blue Todd is the Todd who’d already been the Vargases’ kid, Red Todd is newly-adopted Todd :)
