#i lowkey forgot the password but

so the other day i read the beggar student (a short story) by osamu dazai and was struck by the resemblances to BSD's first chapter/episode that it has?? like it's genuinely crazy. here's the gist of what i'm talking about (*spoiler warning, please scroll if you don't want to see!*)

struggling author (also named osamu dazai) meets struggling student at the side of a river bank. said student is swimming/drifting down the river

dazai decides to 'save' the student bc he thinks he's drowning

student chews him out for being stupid like that after dazai trips and falls

one thing turns to another and then they go for lunch at a teahouse together (yes, a teahouse lol. no chazuke though)

dazai can barely pay for their food/tea bc he's broke

later they go drinking with one of the student's friends, who happens to be kind of uptight and serious (this one is a stretch but i'm including it anyway)

there's a lot of references to classic literature/philosophy all throughout

that's a very brief, crude summary of all the references i could pinpoint. the rest of this story goes by quite quick (it's only about 96 pages in all, and this was like, the first 20 pages or so? hints for the rest of the short story: there's school uniforms, beer, and long-winded speeches). but still. reading this all actually had my jaw on the floor, because what do you mean that the events of the first half of chapter one of bungo stray dogs is an osamu dazai reference. like surely this is not all just coincidence.

in conclusion: asagiri is a madman. the literary references go crazy. what else am i missing. i need to read more

Theo's not one to succumb to stereotypes. He usually tries to stay out of trouble and not be noticed. However, after certain people decided to bully his friend, he's not sure about staying quiet anymore...

People at camp have always talked about Theo behind his back. They didn't even hide it. Most avoided him. He never seemed to mind. He preferred being alone, if that meant staying away from people that didn't trust him or believed he would kill them in their sleep, just because he was the son of Akhlys. As if that made him the worst person on the planet.

Now, he's planning to make use of that fear, that disgust. You find him standing in front of some Aphrodite campers, the same ones that spilled their drinks on his friend. He somehow found them, and he's going to make them pay for what they've done.

There's a cut on his arm, very clearly self inflicted, toxic blood spilling out, circling around him, there's bits of burned grass around the Aphrodite campers. Theo's huffing as he makes a bit of his blood splash next to them, it eating away at the grass it landed on.

"How does it feel to have shit spilled at you, huh?" His voice is oddly calm for such an angry expression on his face. He may have overreacted about this situation, but he just can't stand the asshole campers anymore.

I lowkey lost my password and forgot which email I used for this account (I have way more than I should, don't ask lol). I got stuck in such a writer's block that I figured I'd just take a break and work on art instead.

This message literally kills me, because this is why I write. Sometimes I question writing reader inserts, but knowing that it can make even one person feel loved or happy makes it all worth it.

I can't guarantee I'll be writing a lot more LaDS content (the game won't open for me and I'm scared to delete it in case is deletes all my progress, so I've been keeping up through reels and stuff). But I'm not done yet! I've actually been having a lot of brain rot around my last Zayne fic and thinking about turning it into a small series.

1. ​In the midst of a lengthy ban explanation, the team member who wrote it confessed that there were several times where I broke the rules and they didn't ban me. (The accounts ended up locked for other reasons.) Was that supposed to make you seem merciful? Because hanging on to all that to trot out at the last minute comes off as petty spite to me. THAT'S why I'm leaving for good, not because I'm "out of second chances". Go take your unevenly applied rules and bother someone else.

Or maybe an, idk, multiaccounter debt system, where all the stuff you've funneled gets given a FR currency value that you then have to pay off before you earn anything new to spend yourself. Probably wouldn't ever happen because it could lead to massive unpayable debts in the case of some things, but it feels unfair that literally any multi activity at any point of your time on the site risks a ban and loss of potential years of progress, even if they barely did anything with the extra accounts at all

5. for the person asking about reasons for multi-accounting ; i have a dissociative disorder and often forgot my passwords/logins. these often came back recollected over the next few years. i'd log in to an old account, see i had currency, send it over and never touch it again. maybe not a super crazy reason for "multi-ing" if you can even call it that (and personally i dont even consider it funneling) but i imagine there are a lot of cases like this of just genuine forgetfulness.

reminiscing 2014 before i go to this one place for scamming me

back in the day on twitter it was very easy to hack twitter accounts and i used to hack a few and got a really nice saved usernames that nobody was using mind you i was 13... you basically had to click forgot password or smt and literally GUESS which email the original owner used like it was genuinely a guessing game but twitter patched it up pretty quickly ngl... and i used to use this indian link all the time to get fake followers for free but i forgot what it was called you basically gave access to this website and they made u spam post a bunch of tweets that advertised their service but an experienced veteran like me were deleting all my spam tweets in lightning speed. that was nice and it gave 20 - 60 free followers depending on which link u used. also used to do 30x30 which basically means "follow me with 30 of ur fake accs and ill do the same" so i used to scam people lowkey by doing this and at the end i peaked at 28k followers. anyways im about to go to this one place to ask about my order cuz its been... 50 minutes <3 about to get my karen on

back to all seriousness: eventually they’ll ask for your ACTUAL phone number or email that you use for the account and they’ll send you a link. click on it and it’ll lead u to the log in page on instagram and it’ll HOPEFULLY log you in and make you go through security to change your password and everything immediately.

tip: if you have an email attached to ur account plz replace it and make a new one. Like if you put your phone number back as the primary number, then the hacker obviously can’t do anything cuz you get the text messages instagrams sends you, not them. They only changed things up so they can get things sent to them. so if instagram possibly and randomly asks you any question abt ur account being linked to the device you have rn, say yes. Cuz it’ll make the whole process easier trust. Cuz my dumbass got all suspicious and said no which made me get kicked off again.

PS: the hacker will change something abt ur username. Whether they add a underscore or dash, keep in contact with ur friends, mutuals, and ask them if ANYTHING abt ur username(capital or lowercase letters, numbers) has changed from the original username you knew it as. Because if they changed something abt ur username and you have no idea, instagram will say “no account found” when you go to type in your username to click “forgot password” or “can’t reset password”. Which will obviously make you worry, panic, and think that they sold your account. Which they did to me. Still can’t believe they hacked my account the day before EID. like I was so devastated. but dw, I got it back the day of EID :).

All this advice is coming straight from the heart, and I truly wish you the best. Patience will key. don’t sob and panic like me.
