the second half of season 7 is such a mindfuck for daisy, honestly.

first they have to get her mother who tried to kill her and was murdered by her dad in front of her to help save the team, then she actually has to meet the version of her that wasnt evil and insane and pretend to not be her daughter, on sousas advice says fuck it and at least talks to her to get some closure, only to actually have her mom as her mom for all of 1 minute while she realizes what kind of monster she becomes, before she is murdered in front of her again, this time trying to save her daughters life after just finding out this strange inhuman shield agent is her daughter from the future that shes going to try and kill.

all of that only to then have her long lost sister who killed herself in the original timeline moonwalk into the base to show off what a twisted little psychopath she has become and attempt some kind of familial relationship to manipulate her, which is exactly what daisy has longed for all of her life, but so not like this.

and you can see it in chloe bennets acting throughout the entire second half, but especially 7x10 and 7x11, daisy is just so hurt and destroyed and so close to just falling apart on the spot but still somehow holds it together and i dont know where she takes the strength from and how noone on the team thinks it might be a good idea to give her a hug right now. at least sousa and mack have her back, but philinda have no excuse.
