So this is going to be long so i apologize in advance but here we go. Also if you or anyone wants to know more feel free to ask.

It's a complicated thing. We are best friends so in that sense we are closer than most could or would ever be. And while I do love her so so sooooo deeply we aren't in "love" like that. I think we could have been, If I wasn't such a knuckle head earlier on in life and who knows we might be someday. But for now I'm content to be her best friend and her sub. I can't divulge her buisness which sucks because it's half of the story you know?

And I don't want it to come off as us just being "kink dispensers for each other. We do deeply care for each other. We help each other, we listen to each other. We are as close as best friends can be and in some ways closer as you've probably seen me write about on here. At the end of the day regardless of where she is at in our best friend relationship I just don't think I'm ready to "love" love someone yet. Not after some of the stuff I've put myself through with past flames. And she knows, we have talked about it extensively and a plethora of times.

She's amazing though, she's kind and funny and nerdy and above all she's been there for me through so much. She's been a rock for me, someone I know is always there and regardless of how far I drift away in the sea of my life I always end up floating back to her. I owe her more than I could ever put into words but I still think she knows. I think she knows how much I need and depend on her, how much I enjoy and confide in her and how much she means to me.

I've been told before that the way I write blurs lines of love and friendship and admiration. I think that's because those lines are blurred in my head too. So while we aren't in "love" love I think she is the closest thing on planet earth I consider to be a love of mine. Sorry if thats even more confusing but that's the best way I can phrase it? At least right now when I'm still drooling over a couple of photos I recieved of her new under garment haul. She got a matching grey set with like a lace trim and holy fuck. Ohhhh, I'm so jealous you could go to a cup sleeve event! The closest one to me is almost 4 hours away. 😂 It's amazing that there was so many people! Ahhh, our Ateez are famous~! ✨

The lack of Korean fans blows my mind every single time I think about it. They have been so beloved globally from day one (and even before day one) but they still don't have that in their own country. It's insane! I'm glad they've embraced the 'global idol' title though. Everytime i hear it in an interview intro I'm like 'at least Korea knows they're truly loved elsewhere'. But the way they do sooooo much for K-tiny and still can't get the traction. It's crazy. No one is doing more.

Guerilla is such a good MV! What a great introduction! And it sounds so cool~ I really love that their songs span genres. I feel like there must be four or five different styles in Halazia alone. (Also, I agree. I'm typically not into summery, softer songs or slower ballads. But I actively listen to all of Ateez's songs. In fact, some of my consistent faves fit right into this category!)

Their story/lore is incredible. Sometimes I feel like I understand everything less than most of the members (😂) but I'm alllll about it! It's so cool that they have this one arc. That it's been the same story this whole time. Truly amazing. Concept kings. I'm gonna need a film one day. It's all so cinematic and intriguing.

Anyways, yeah the cupsleeve was so nice. I'm lucky to live on one side of a pair of decently sized cities with a diverse population here, so we get a handful of nice events (one of the local gay bars hosts a kpop night monthly, for example).

I've been to a cupsleeve for Taemin, Stray Kids, and then I helped my friend host one for OnlyOneOf - they were all really fun but did not even begin to prepare me for the intensity of the Ateez one. I was baffled; the Skz one was held at the same location and it was a graveyard by comparison. I didn't take many pictures bc I was caught up chatting and there was no way to take them without a ton of people in the photo lol - but these are the few from the event;

I agree with you, regarding the global idol title; I think it's really well deserved and is serving them well. They really deserve more notice in KR though; it sucks that they get overlooked just bc of not being a Big 4; if anything people should pay more attention since those are the hidden gems, you know?

Bouncy has a kpop sort of vibe to it though, moreso than some of the other title tracks of theirs I've heard, so hopefully folks pay a little more attention this time around. I heard they got their first win for Bouncy this morning though! So that's something positive.

Halazia was unbelievable; I was impressed when I heard it and even moreso when I saw the m/v. I finally sat down and listened to their entire discography this weekend while doing cleaning and realized I genuinely can't find a skip song with them for the most part. 😭

Also yes!! 100% on a movie - this would make an amazing full length film or hell, even a miniseries; it's such a complex and well written storyline. I'm mad I didn't pick up the diary version of Outlaw bc I need to know what happens next. (I have all 3 versions coming but they won't be here for a while bc they're being sent with my albums from SHINee's comeback at the end of June; I could only afford one of their albums from the store here bc they were so much more expensive than they are in the KR shop I use. >.<)

Seeing the way atiny treat the group and each other and work together is so heartwarming. It's interesting, to have it be largely on the international fans' shoulders to push them to the spotlight in both the wider world and KR; but the teamwork is super fun to see. I haven't been this actively involved in a kpop fandom since I quit doing it for my og group (just stuck mostly to the sidelines, reblogging pretty pictures, etc for my other groups) - but I'm enjoying it so much more so far; I don't feel the same kind of guilty pressure that I've felt elsewhere.

They have so much content too holy - I've been trying to catch up and I feel like I haven't even scraped the surface yet lol - Every time I think I've managed to finish one section I realize there's x or y other things I missed lol. I did not even know the Treasure Film series existed until you mentioned it 😂 - but it looks like M2 did it; I love the games/variety type shows that company has done, so I'm eager to watch it! But I apparently had no say in him, since he was the one that kept sticking out in everything and his personality is exactly what I gravitate to in a bias (the big oaf with a loud mouth and a heart of gold, always a little confused but he's got the spirit, scary duality) -- normally I do find a second bias within a few months that vibes with my first, but I didn't even get a say in that since not only did San tell me 'no, I'm right here and you're going to pay attention to me', he did it while dragging that scrappy little devil along by the hand V_V I couldn't just adopt him without Woo. (I was quite disgruntled about that one too - I don't bias visuals or dancers dammit - I have avoided them in most of my groups so far.

Plus! Where's my rapper bias??? I thought I'd add HJ as my second but nope, instead I get the 'friends as far as the altar' Tom and Jerry pair and 6 bias wreckers since none of them can stay in their damn lane for more than a few minutes at a time. 😂 (My friend said that'd happen tho so I can't say I wasn't warned).

I dealt with 3 men in my past whom I believe was toxic… Dated 2 of them. The last one I was talking to, Andrew, praised me a lot! (Especially when I first met him) it was nothing but “you’re so beautiful”, “you’re so sweet”, “you’re so cute”. He had a “nickname” for me too and it was “cutie” 😳😳😳 he called me that for a whole summer!!!! Every morning just about, I would wake up to a text that read, “Good morning cutie 😘” ugh 😩 I did NOT understand it and thought maybe he was flirting/liked me but wasn’t sure. He wouldn’t ask me out AND I don’t even remember our first day of meeting AT ALL 😳

After the summer ends and fall begins, we started a relationship and NOW my new nickname is “babe”. He never once called me by my real name… but he would totally ignore me as if I don’t exist but when he did pay me attention, it was always “oh wow you’re so beautiful” and “you’re the sweetest girl I’ve ever met” 😝❤️‍🩹 Constant praise and I ate it up so much. I didn’t feel comfortable with how he would ignore me but then act like everything was great between us.

When he love bombed me the month of January, it was constant communication, love, support and praise. He expressed his “need for me” but yet still kept so much of his life in the dark from me. I was VERY confused and torn. I felt sooooo close to him and yet I’m on egg shells afraid to say anything to scare him off. I was so high during the love bomb phase. I went to the gym regularly, I ate healthy, I felt on cloud 9 with him!!! I thought NOTHING could stop Andrew and I. I sadly believed we had fallen in love and that we were gonna spend our lives together. It was the most magical and crazy time of my life!! I couldn’t stand to be away from him…

BUT ALL GOOD THINGS COME TO AN END 😝😝😝😝 One night we’re talking dirty and he takes it too far. He says something really gross and disgusting he wants to do to me. (He had never talked like this before) AND I was like “uh, no. How dare you!!!!!” I actually gave him the cold shoulder for once and explained that I believed what he wanted to do was very gross and a huge turn off for me. He then apologized and told me he promises he won’t do that to me ever… I forgive him and hoped that went away but come v-day, I felt a shift in our relationship!!! I felt he pulled back from me and I couldn’t stop it from happening. It seems that me standing up for myself, made him feel the need to push me away and be cold with me…. 😳🥺💔

Over the next few months was hot and cold treatment. One minute it’s “hey babe 😘” and the next minute it’s total neglect 😓💔 I NEVER knew who I was getting either. Was I getting warm and affectionate Andrew or was I getting cold and absent Andrew??? Both sucked. The affectionate Andrew was amazing but I KNEW it never lasted and always resulted in him ignoring me again 😓 I also felt there were other girls involved based on his Facebook photos and the way he was absent so much. He HAD to be cheating!!!

After we broke up, he continued to be dirty with me and praise how beautiful I am and how sweet I am BUT says he only wants “friendship” yet still wants to see my nudes and would continue the hot and cold treatment. I felt at some point it was a fun game for him and I began to feel the weight of him breaking my heart 💔💔💔

I say all of this to say I understand now how much he saw my “value” and wanted to tare it down!!! I did not see my value or respect myself. He knew this and disrespected me time and time again. Sad but I’ve had to forgive myself for letting him treat me like a toy to play with. I really thought I loved him and I’m sad it was so easy for him to use me. It happens and you learn from it. Healing and forgiving has taken me way longer than I ever expected but I’ve had a lot of setbacks and stumbling blocks in my way too. ONE DAY AT A TIME you slowly get over it all ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹
