favorite color: Greens and green-tinted blues are my faves, but I like earth tones to. Autumn colours. Berry tones. Basically anything except bright red, bright yellow, and neons.

last song: The Calling by The Amazing Devil as I was driving home from work (yes, still "tad on repeat" kind of day. Week, even)

last movie: A rewatch of the 1989 DEFA Goose princess, I think?

currently watching: take a guess 🏴‍☠️

other stuff i watched this year: Oh God, I'm really not watching a lot of fiction these days, mostly shitty documentaries. Nimona was pretty good. oh and that Netflix stop motion miniseries about the haunted house? That was cool. (If that even was this year)

shows i dropped this year: I don't think there was anything I gave up on? Again, my media diet atm isn't very varied

currently reading: Emil Ferris's My Favourite Thing Is Monsters, a graphic novel that my sister loaned me :) It's p good so far!

currently listening to: again. having a putting tad on repeat kinda time

currently working on: Halloween costume, the forgotten wool coat (YES I am still technically working on it, shut up), a few other little crafting projects, a bookbinding thing, subtitle translation for ofmd 02x06 and 07

Funny things I found out playing with language setting in Netflix while looking episode 15:

Chilchuck's scream sounds HAUNTED in brazilian portuguese. Give it a try if you can.

In spanish dub, Senshi says: "tocó mis senos de hombre", which means "he touched my man boobs" in Spanish. And I think that's the best dub line one so far.

I've been playing Splatoon since the very first game. And seeing my playable character in the first game reappear and grow in Splatoon 2 and 3, makes my heart clench with bittersweet joy because I grew up with them.

Splatoon grew and I also grew and I couldn't be happier to grow up together.

Thank you for the maritime memories.
