About Inactivity

I'm sorry for being on a very extended and unannounced art hiatus. At the moment I don't have any new finished artwork to post but I intend to get back into drawing soon. Since I don't have any new art to share my posts on this blog have been scarce.

Hopefully I will have something new to share with you by this month or the next. ദ്ദി ( ᵔ ᗜ ᵔ )

(Repost) Jester design inspired by Bill Cipher. I hesitate to call it a humanization since I don't think it necessarily suits his vibe per se. If I made a humanization for him now I would do a lot differently.

Design Motifs: Owls (specifically barn owls), Harlequin, jesters, Venetian Carnival, angels, loose Masonic symbolism.

Quip-Spider is my spidersona inspired by Harlequin of the commedia dell'arte and the Hawaiian happy-face spider (Theridion grallator). Her name is a pun based on Whip Spider, a type of arachnid, and 'quip' - a joke. She would be animated in the UPA Revival art style of early 2000's cartoons. She fights using synthetic explosive balls which she can inflate for a bigger explosion. She has a very chaotic fighting style and an irritating personality. She's also capable of distorting the space around her using her slapstick to match the style of her own world - a reference to Harlequin's slapstick being used to change the scenery of the play.

Made a better reference for how I personally envision Adam. I see him as heavyset but also having a decent amount of muscle from weightlifting/training, so I based his physique on strongmen/powerlifters.
