i'm running late on getting this out, but i'm still reeling over the results of the @kirbyoctournament! i can't quite believe that starstruck- my pint sized waddle dee- made it all the way to the tippy-top against such intense competition. the roster was full of such an incredible selection of wonderful, loveable, and creative characters!

it's heart-warming to know that people out there really love my little wanya and her story, and i'll carry that with me always! 🥰💖

i am so grateful to everybody who voted for and supported starstruck (and i!) throughout the tournament, and i'd also like to give my thanks to everybody- moderators, participants, spectators- who made this community event as cool and fun as it was!! i met many new people and learned about so many wonderful new characters!

this piece in particular is dedicated to and features all of starstruck's competitors in the tourney, starting with jakkle doo from round one, right up to valfrey in the final round. it was a fantastic honour to compete against all of your OCs, and i look forward to hopefully seeing them around plenty more in the future!!

Something I have always noticed about TDP is the recurring message of softness and being soft. Not even just with the “history can be a narrative of love’ theme but just in all the main character’s core qualities there is such a precious underlying softness and tenderness. Even when the world stomps them down, it’s still there, in their love for each other and in simply everything. This show has illustrated the beauty and strength in softness over and over again, through all the cracks and breaks. I guess it just reiterates the lesson that real strength falls in compassion and love. Real strength is being soft no matter how hard it is ❤️. 

That's a pretty important lesson to learn.

It's been a while since my last Sim dump, so here are some Sims I made for background purposes who are now free to a good home! If you happen to be in need of some Y2K babes or early 20th century blokes, you can use them as is, or you can give them all-new makeovers to fit whatever niche your gameplay requires! Either way, I'd love to see them put to use. Close-ups, additional details, and download links below the cut!

Each Sim has one everyday outfit; other categories left empty.

All CC included except these skintones. I tried to avoid using them and it just made me realize how much of a necessity they are.

Any pack/kit items used are easily replaceable (mainly accessories/skin details).

My defaults if you want them to look exactly the same: skin, eyes, brows, EA eyelashes remover.

I do use sliders. Deleting them may alter their appearances slightly, but feel free to do so if you'd rather not have them.

I sometimes use the occult categories for extra skin details, so you might want this unlocker mod.

You can change their styles, traits, aspirations, names, etc. Just don’t alter skin color, body shape, or gender and don’t claim them as your own.
