I feel low-key crazy obsessing over every little thing that happens with Fai. But was it just me or did anyone else feel as hurt about their mom admitting she would have been happier taking Yotha than Faifa?? I know those weren't the intention of her words, and I certainly don't know how much was lost in translation. But to feel like you were always the second choice, and then to have it confirmed is fucking heartbreaking!

Before I get onto that bit of the rant though! I love how expertly Fai avoids talking about his own feelings.

It's a footnote to everyone else's feelings and trying to understand the situation. Which is mature and grown-up, but not at the cost of your own anger. And then he goes on to start defending his mom.

She heard Fai say this! She heard him say that her loving Faifa more was "definitely not the reason". Her justification was that she knew Faifa was the one who'd be most affected by being separated from his family?? Are you for real rn ma'am??

(I also hate the assumption that Yotha would not have missed his family? Like what??)

I know Fai is not the one in focus in this frame, but he looks sooo broken. Then he finds out she was planning to move without telling the kids-

And when she's doing her lil goodbye speech to each of them he refuses to even look her in the eye!!!

I've mentioned it before. But I think Faifa, despite being the youngest of the siblings, definitely has the energy of the oldest. And he's doing it again here. Unlike Yotha, I feel like he hasn't resolved anything with his mom. He's still a people pleaser so he'll make sure she is happy.

BUT WHAT ABOUT HIMMMMM??!!

I cannot wait for Faifa's story to start!! I have been ready for it for weeks, and I'm sooooo glad we're finally getting it. I think more than anything I want to see someone take care of Fai for a change. Someone actually see him be vulnerable and agree to share the pain. I want Wine to realize as Faifa is helping him through his heartbreak that there is so much hurt her carries behind the happy facade.

I was not ready to love YothaGun this much. I'm massively bias towards Perth so I was on board since the start, but I'm loving this dynamic.

It's painful but no one is wrong? Like Yotha has been so honest about where he's coming from, and where is head its at, so he's not a bad guy. And Gun is the sunshine and overestimated how far that was gonna take him, and underestimated how painful this situation was gonna get for him. Yotha is so messed up but he's trying so hard to not hurt Gun in the process. It's obvious that he likes Gun, but he's so afraid of it, cause in his mind love equals pain, and who would sign up for that without being absolutely sure? He doesn't get that he's already there. So he retreats because he thinks that's better for Gun, but in the absence of an answer Gun can only take his actions as proof, so of course he's hurting.

But in the middle of all this, they talk? I love that. It's a mess but it's one where both of them know where they stand. And honestly I think when they actually become boyfriends, their relationship will be stronger because of it. I need to see them happy.

My conclusion after EP 13 for Perfect 10 Liners is: I LOVE FAIFA! 😍

He is so F extra, I really love him 🤣 And the way Junior portrays him is so cute, I have no idea how many times I said "I love Faifa" during this whole episode 🤣🤭 I'm really curious to know more about him and his traumas. I feel he tries to be friend of everyone and help them either because he himself don't wanna feel lonely or abandoned again, or don't want the others to feel lonely like he did. I really don't know but I'm dying to learn about it 🤔 Hope I continue to like him in his story please 😃🤣

Also, I love how EVERYONE in that class began to mock Yotha and Gun when they began the whole tie scene right there in the front. If you look at the extras, even them are making the "Do my tie" gesture and I quacked when I noticed that🤣🤣 The friendship mockery on this whole series is my favorite part, help 🤣🤣

AND THE WAY GUN HIDES BEHIND FAIFA IS SO CUTE. He feels safe with Faifa, he goes to him and opens up, breaks down crying in front of Fai, that's what I call trust and I love it. Also Fai protecting Gun from Yotha cause he don't want Yotha to hurt Gun anymore... I love him... I can't, that's too sweet 😭😭😭

And Junior showing that he can indeed act serious too and not just goofy, ooh, I love to see that🤭🤭🤭

About Warit and Klao, really can't talk on their matter cause, it just hits too close to home... I've been in the EXACT SAME situation as Warit and my way out of it was shitty af so, I don't even know how to react to watching what happened to me as a viewer cause I'll always lean more for Warit cause I FULLY understand him...

So I'm just gonna talk about the slap. I'm SURE that that slap hurt 100% more than any of the punches Klao took the whole episode. I vocalized a loud "OH SHIT" the moment I heard the sound. And I liked that Warit did that cause it was effective in a way that talking at that moment wouldn't be as Klao was completely out so the slap was like a reboot in the system 🤣🤣🤣 I think things will begin to move forward to them now cause they actually talked about it, Warit expressed how he actually feels about Yotha so, it should work from now (I HOPE, PLEASE 😃)

And then, Santa crying... OMG, THAT WAS GOOD SCENES. It sounds sad saying it like this but I swear I mean good🤣🤣

I was/am impressed at the way he cries cause he KNOWS how to cry. The way his voice shakes when he speaks, his whole body flinching, I don't know if I'm the only one that felt this but I was genuinely impressed. If you tell me that he was crying for real and not acting there, I'd fully believe you 😭😭😭😭

And let me tell you, I went 😮 when Yotha kissed Warit like... I was not expecting it😃 First of all, "OMG, PERTHBOOM" that was my stupid head first thought😃🤣🤣 Then I went "Noo, don't do this to me... Don't make he still like Warit..." and I KNEW GUN WAS GONNA SEE THAT, OFC HE WOULD😃😃

I just learned that in the novel, faifa and yotha are actually twins - same face, same height, same built, just different personalities, and it made me wonder how faifa took yothagun's relationship. I'm not saying faifa was jealous or that he likes gun that way but i feel like if i were faifa, i'd be so annoyed cuz why tf is my twin brother who repels anyone that comes near him gets to be in a loving relationship FIRST with MY close friend when i'm the one with the likable (borderline pushover) personality? I feel like it adds so much more depth to his 'loneliness' whenever he sees yothagun, esp with the knowledge that their mom did prefer yotha over him.

I could definitely see them being identical twins adding to it even more. Especially since everyone choose Yotha in the end. His own mother, who took him with her in the divorce, admits that she loved Yotha so much that she didn't take him because she feared she would love him too much to keep in contact with the rest of the family post-divorce! Come on.

This poor man deserves so much better than he got and I cannot wait until he gets it,. He deserves to be loved and cared for and for someone to look out for him the way he looks out for the rest of the world and sacrifices himself constantly.

Faifa has pushed himself so hard to always be the one to sacrifice and he is so similar to Gun in that way, the sunshine of the world only his sunshine is one that he started doing to protect himself.

That face. He tried so hard to get everyone to forgive and love his mother but his mother forgets he's allergic to milk despite the fact that she took care of him! He was just plain sent back to his father as a young adult and then found out it was because the stepfamily he was raised with was moving overseas and just... leaving him behind!

But he still fights for his brothers to love his mother because he's so damn desperate to be loved, because he needs everyone to be peaceful even when he deserves to be angry, to be pissed, to scream that he deserves to be loved too... I mean, this man literally had to argue with Yotha that he was the more loved one and to imagine that if they were identical twins, the same face staring back at him but knowing that face was more loved? I cannot even imagine.

Also, borderline pushover? Anon. Anon. Faifa has made himself into a rug. He has pushed himself over for the world to trample on and offered to clean the mud off their shoes because all he wants is to be loved and he sees the only way to be loved is to be useful and so he will be useful, he will be everything and anything as long as people don't leave him except they always, always do.

Faifa has walls but those walls are around his anger and his hurt and his loneliness instead of his joy or his love. He shares his love so thoroughly that he leaves nothing for himself and walls off the parts of him that need to be loved the most.

Ok, cool episode, YothaGun being lovey-dovey, annoyingly sweet and enjoying their dating era. But can we talk about the fact that Faifa received two blows one after another, both related to his mom and it's pretending to be ok about it? Because you cannot tell me that the shots of him being sad while his mom was explaining why she took him and not Yotha were an accident. We were supposed to see how that affected him, and it's going to influence how he will deal with Wine from now on.

Imagine finding out that you were just a mean to an end, that you were used because someone couldn't stop being selfish for once, and thinking that the person you thought loved you wasn't considerate of your feelings, your needs, your wants. No wonder Faifa is a people pleaser, that's consequence of what his mom did. And her confession and moving away to another country will only make things worse. Faifa deserve better, I feel so much for him it hurts

I can't get this idea out of my head but I need someone to write this for me :

YothaGun & KlaoWarich Double Date

Ok hear me out.

In the last episode we already saw Warich is already getting his shit straight ... the whole worrying for Klao & giving Yotha some actual advice on Gun. So if we take like a year down the line - Wa has sorted himself out and him & Yotha have a real friendly cordial relationship now, with proper communication with Klao (on Wa's part and Gun on Yotha's part) Klao & Wa actually have grown to adore the hell out of Gun (bcoz well it is Gun we are talking about) Klao & Yotha are also sort of besties (they will never accept if you say them that, but they always have each other's back before a lot of people) Yotha claims to hate them being near Gun but secretly is happy that everyone loves him (our boy is whipped beyond perception).

So on Gun's idea they go on a double date to a restaurant for lunch. Everything's cute and fluff with sprinkles of Klao Yotha bickering (cmon it's fun). Now just to piss Yotha off, Klao kinda sort of starts flirting with Gun, something that he has been doing from time to time to mess with Yotha ever so slightly (he says it's his revenge for every time Yotha mad him mad in the past). Klao is very much used yo this by now and just sits back to enjoy the show while Yotha, who claims to "not be jealous" & know that Klao is joking (it's been done way too many time by now, but has the same effect on Yotha which Klao loves), starts forming Klao's murder plot in his head.

All of this and a lot of laughter. Idk how I want this to end.

I just know that these 4 have a good bond later in life and that's where all of this is coming from.

Perfect 10 Liners Part 2 Thoughts (so far)

Okay so confession time, I know ALOT of you really enjoyed the ArcArm storyline and I was told that this could be the show to get me to be all in on ForceBook (I have specific thoughts about this CP, but that’s for another time) but I’m sorry to say that I could not get into their storyline AT ALL. I don’t know what it was but I just couldn’t force (😉) myself to sit through it so I did skip 99% of their storyline to get to the one I was excited about which is YothaGun, so here’s my thoughts after watching the first 3 eps of their story.

EPS 9-10: Already i'm enjoying PS and it's only been 2 eps. They’re serving me exactly what I’m hungry for. I’ve seen some complaints that Gun is on the childish side? But personally I think thats just how his character is, kinda innocent and naive to the world? I currently don't have a problem with it (the only thought I have is in regards to their gmmtv 2025 show cos he becomes like a 7yo again and I worry if he's gonna get typecast into always playing this type of slightly silly role? Although that's one of the shows I'm actually more excited for so we shall see in probs 2026?27? when it airs lol). Anyways, my main want is for them to give us more of his darkness trauma, I really liked the scene where he was afraid and crying in bed and Yotha came in and comforted him but that was before Yotha was properly interested in him so I would like to see a similar scene again where he comforts him but it's after acknowledging his feelings for him. LOVE the tie tying and that Yotha is determined to be close to Gun without letting Gun know how much he enjoys it. Also the PJ’s are a nice touch. Oh and how did I forget, but wtf Santa is like SUUUPER ripped? Mental.

EP 11: Still loving this couple (proved by the fact I couldn’t even wait a day to watch this after it dropped) but why did this ep feel a bit filler-y? or maybe that was just me? I love that they are showing a softer side of Yotha with Gun, and the whole sitting next to him in the cafe all night was SO sweet - also the fact that Fai said “I'm just the dog sitter, your owner is here now?!” 🫠 Do we think Yotha told asked Fai to go find Gun cos he knew the electric had gone out? Ugh. Now, don't hate me but sadly I don't really care about Fai and what'shisname? so skipped that and felt they had quite a few scenes in this ep. Also all the drama kinda started 20 seconds before the end, so that's a bit annoying (It'd be fine if they dropped 2 episodes a week but c'mon we got to wait a whole week now, boo!

TLDR; loving it so far, give me more angst pretty pls <3

maybe what's so romantic about yotha and gun is how.. they are so unaware that they obviously love each other. they're just so scared, and so, so in love that they want to get this right. it's love when gun allowed yotha to be confused, but the mere fact that yotha asked for time to be sure is already love in action. people tend to be so scared of using "love" to define love as it is, but i truly believe that if gun had said "i love you" then, things would have been a lot less scary for the both of them. there was no disadvantage. love wins—love always wins.

About a week ago I made a post wondering how true to the novel the on-screen dynamic of YothaGun is

And me being a simple woman who just wants to see her baby gays happy and in love I couldn't wait till I see that happening on screen, I bought the novels

And I'll put it under the cut just in case someone might consider this as a spoiler

So, yeah, the dynamic that Perth and Santa are portraying is pretty much on par with what we have in the novel

Especially Yotha calling Gun 'beagle'

Just maybe Gun in the novel is a little bit less of a sunshine per se but just very lively and energetic person (but maybe my imagination is not as good as thought it is. That's just how I saw Gun in the novel)

time for some random thoughts!

I'm finishing three series this week—Miseinen, See Your Love, and Caged Again—and plan on doing a separate post for them, so this is just a space to get some thoughts down. I am looking forward to the Ossan's Love Thailand premiere tonight but will have zero brain cells online for the entire duration of the show. 👍

The YothaGun storyline in Perfect 10 Liners is hitting the spot, and PerthSanta are a big reason why.

If you asked me about anything that happened in the ArmArc part of the series, I wouldn't be able to tell you even though I technically watched all of it. Thankfully, the YothaGun section has me in a chokehold so far. The grumpy/sunshine dynamic is so strong, and Perth (Yotha) and Santa (Gun) are able to elevate the trope to something genuinely engaging, thanks to both their individual charm and their chemistry. I love how quickly Yotha warmed up to Gun, and how little he seems to be fighting against his feelings even if he's still awkward about being Seen; I also love how Gun's initial fascination with Yotha's personality seeded his growing attraction and romantic interest. The progression of their relationship feels natural, feels good to my sensibilities as a viewer.

Also, the little flashes of physical flirting, which Perth has always been so good at, have me vibrating out of my seat. You can just tell that Yotha knows how to reel someone in and make them feel wanted (it's his tactic at the bar, after all), and that makes me anticipate how good this couple will be when they finally put their hands and mouths on each other.

Last thing about this show: One of my favorite things in BL is a silly little ritual—the more mundane the better—and every time Gun happily does up Yotha's tie in the morning, and Yotha gazes at him with that fond quirk to his mouth, it hits so good. It's such a simple act, so domestic, so fitting for them (Gun wants to be helpful and friendly, and Yotha wants to be close to Gun), and until the scene in yesterday's episode, it was kept private between them, so performing the ritual on campus, in front of Gun's friends, was a great way to show just how comfortable they are with each other now, even if others don't understand their relationship yet.

Emi and Bonnie are probably going to ruin my life in Us the Series.

Man, that sobbing apology in the trailer got me good. I was already fully seated for this series but it must be reiterated that Emi and Bonnie look so good together. If the storytelling doesn't go off the rails (I think I can trust p'Fon and her team?) then I am ready to be fully consumed. May Sapphic Saturdays long continue!

The Boy Next World premiere was solid.

Is this considered a slow-burn for MAME? Only half-kidding, but the first episode was... nice. I'm not sure who the director is, but the style feels a bit different. It suits the mysterious, dreamlike quality of the storyline so far; I adored the moody blue lighting in Cir's apartment when he first returned home. Noeul is still channeling ADHD gremlin energy with the scatterbrained behavior, but Phu feels more childlike than Rain from Love in the Air. (I think it's the superstition?) However, I am really enjoying seeing Boss play a softer, less edgy character in Cir. Obviously their chemistry is going to be fire, so I just hope the series can continue building off its premiere. Also, I wanna know more about Jin specifically lol.

Petrichor has been really uneven, and I'm sad about it.

Love Tul, love the way Engfa plays Tul, love Tul's little work trio, but this show isn't keeping me on tenterhooks the way I want it to, even though so much shit happens in every single episode. The big reveal in Episode 6 felt shoehorned in, and the police corruption theme is well-trod territory; yes, characters like Big Tech and Daensiam are imminently punchable, but they don't feel like true foils for Tul, and the Real Killer was kept very well hidden up to this point, so even though there's a sense of danger, there isn't enough of the tension that I want from a crime thriller. Also, Thiwa has been woefully underused as a character so far. I'll stick this one out but I hope we reach a breaking point in the plot soon.

Weekend Ramblings

GelBoys Episode 1

Great first episode. I like that they're using public transport and walking outside a lot, it feels more alive and realistic even if I have no real frame of reference. I like that the nails are telling the passage of time and this is going fast. The first episode spanned 3 months at least judging from that, probably more.The visuals are really good and I really like the editing, and the way it's shot almost makes me feel like I'm watching a documentary. Seems like this will be messy and angsty teenagers kinda bl and I'm ready.

Perfect 10 Liners Episode 16

I'm still comfortable in my hypocrisy and will use this gif whenever it suits me. Cause Faifa is me, in any other show but this one.

There's something about a brooder begrudgingly falling for the ray of sunshine he swore he’d never need, that I just adore. Add to that the fact that the brooder is played by Perth and I'm in uni bl heaven. I loved this arc so damn much. These two make such an adorable couple and Perth and Santa are great together. I'm surprised with their chemistry but also not, cause I think both of them can probably have chemistry with anyone. If they stay a pair for now I'm on board. Although I do enjoy seeing Perth kissing different boys. We had another parental forgiveness moment which I hate but at least she's moving away and I won't have to see her again. I love Faifa and as much as I hate saying goodbye to YothaGun, it's gonna be fun to watch him and Wine. I do hope just like ArcArm, I still get some crumbs from those two.

Boy Next World Episode 6

Say what you will about Mame but she can deliver a sex scene like no one else. I like that Phu has agency here and that there's real communication happening around and during the nc scenes. Boss and Noeul also deliver as usual but I find the dynamic a little too similar to LITA, and I don't love that. I think it happens more when it comes to Noeul, although I concede that I'm often too distracted by Boss's face to notice much of anything at all, but there are moments that I'm seeing Rain instead of Phu. Fake dating seems to be the go-to these days to keep psychos away and I'm not mad about it. That mother though. His stalking tendencies notwithstanding, it’s a wonder Cir is a functioning human at all. I really like the sides and I adore Jin.

Sangmin Dinneaw Episode 7

This show continues to be the weirdest. And I don't know what I did to deserve this but I think I got a double prize today. Amnesia plot my beloathed and some noble idiocy to follow. At least when it comes to the amnesia we were warned. Although I'm not sure when he actually remembered, so he might not have had amnesia at all. Honestly, who knows with this show? Half the time, I have no idea what's happening, and the other half, I wish I didn't. That scene with the sides gave us the usual whiplash, and the scene with the mother was just insane. It's psycho mom's day, apparently. At least with this one, we got to see some mom-on-mom fighting. It's all bonkers but at least there's only one more episode to go. Sangmin better have a damn good reason for leaving, although I doubt it. At least let me have some fluff from these two, cause they are cute. Also why is the hotel dude still breathing?
