Apparently i wrote down the wrong time for a doctors appointment and missed it so now im getting fined. My BS thesis was to create a VR meditation experience targeting anxious and overwhelmed college students. I loved the VR technology and i wanted to do my senior project with it instead of the cliche websites and image detectors projects .

In my university we never got to learn game development, so i had to learn all the technical things by myself without a team, mentor, or even a laptop or a VR headset🥲

I felt alone, i climbed up to my university to work in the lab even on holidays to learn about unity, VR design, 3D modeling..etc and of course deducting an objective research about mindfulness and breathing techniques

My ✨research ✨ was fully inspired by Demon Slayer.

The idea of superpowers with breathing techniques sounded odd to me when i first watched the show, i was like “ Are the industry really out of ideas for superpowers’ sources and causes?” .

And as I understood the show, and my gym class’s teacher integrated meditation to our curriculum and stressed that we need to learn to breath properly, because we live in a rushing world that we forgot how to even breath and take out the tense from our souls.

This was one hell of a senior project, it got me separated from gym, tumblr, and even drawing😭but i am grateful i found that my passion could be reflected in my degree and find amazing chances to grow as a storyteller.

If you read my tags in my posts, I always always make my art with a story in it. Each piece I’ve made there is a story that i often summarizes in the tags. That’s why most of you feel the sincerity ( and fun) in my art.

I want to thank two people that I thank God daily for their existence

To The GD instructor, who we met by chance, introduced me to VR by chance, but she willingly cheered me all along my journey 💖

there's plenty i could get into but i think the crux of it is i keep seeing posts complaining about f/f ships vs m/m ships vs m/f ships and i just think it's stupid. i think it's such a largely useless discussion. people are allowed to like or dislike whatever they want, everyone has their preferences, but i think you just have to acknowledge that goes for EVERYONE and some people will glom onto certain genders and/or dynamics and/or scenarios that don't click with you.

i see no use in complaining about there "being so much more m/m than f/f", especially when farcille is such a widely enjoyed ship, even if just casually by those who think it's cute. by n large in my experience being in this fandom for years i've seen way more farcille art than labru, for example. and yet ive seen people complain about like, the "rise of frivolous m/m shipping drowning out all the good and More Deserving to Exist f/f" and i just don't get what we're even doing here yall. yeah i get there's a wider trend in fandoms that's worth discussing, but idk, it comes off as almost willfully obtuse to me in the case of dunmeshi. beyond the fact there are plenty of reasons people might prefer what a lot of what the m/m ships have to offer, youre acting like people are making excuses to ship cardboard cutout background characters with each other. people will talk about "we finally have a story with really compelling female characters" and that's true, but you know that applies to all the male characters as well, right? All The Characters Are Really Good so what's the big surprise that people are able to enjoy the m/m ships just as much as the f/f ones???

like the whole reason im on this right now is bc i saw a post that was like. 'it's dumb that people are treating m/m like an invasive species in this fandom' and i agreed. but they tied off the post by going 'besides look at the weirdos shipping m/f ships. like. laios and marcille, fucked up amiright???' and maaan idk how you could miss the point so hard in the same gd post dude. like maybe it's just a me thing as a pan person but i like m/f and also it feels really weird to hear other queer people disparage it on principal while also talking about "don't be weird about bi/pan people" and "don't judge m/f couples you see at pride you don't know their Deal" and like honest to god even if it's not queer, even if it's a cis man and a cis woman, i still think it's kinda weird and shitty to act like ships like that are inherently more shallow or lesser-than, i think that's falling into the same pitfalls of tying gender identity to worthiness, yes even if they're cis okay
