Daichi and Hinata have a lot of parallels and I need to talk about it (part 1/2)

DISCLAIMER: This includes manga panels from chapters which have not been adapted (yet)!

This has been on my mind for a while since I now finished all the manga that has yet to be animated it makes me SICK how they not only have very similar backstories, but also key moments /pos

First of all, their backstory. Both of them got inspired/determined to play at Karasuno after they saw a game on TV

Not just that, both were captains in middle school and experienced a pretty devastating loss. ON TOP OF THAT, both of them stood out as incredibly determined despite what the team thought and were most moved when they lost their respective matches (I MEAN COME ON, THE PANELS OF THEM MISSING A RECEIVE BY A HAIR?? practically identical)

Moving on, this is a smaller moment which is rather comedic but both of them receive the ball with their foot on accident

And on the 'angstier' side, both suffer from some kind of 'injury', Daichi colliding with Tanaka and Hinata catching a fever (Which, in addition, both are kind of caused by how they're extremely focused on the match that's going on respectively)

NOT TO MENTION both of them insist that they're completely fine and can still keep playing!

The fact that Zoro is always there. As a shield, as Luffy's swordsman and someone who always has his back, guarding him and what's important to him. Even after 900+chapters!!

(I'm only on about chapter 370, but thanks to @general-cyno Jay's post about the Wano arc, all i could think about was this parallel from their first meeting - their first fight together, where without any words between them Zoro was there to protect Luffy, already seeing him as his captain!! And fastforward to the other chapter, it's so similar and so much more! Soulmates !! ❤️💚😭)
