i also have this little hc of mine, Sun's rays usually react to his emotions and feelings like a dog's tail or ears just another way for gestures and expressions

but in this state they stop responding, being fully out and retracting only when manually pushed in (they move very easily, upon the lightest touch; a safety thing so a kid doesn't stab themselves that easily on them)
