I think Anhane is a ship that is prone to misconception especially in the way some people characterize An—how some people just see her as Kohane obsessed and water down her character just to that (the way i see it is that Kohane is a BUFFER to everything that makes An who she is!!! Again. Another rant for another time) While Anhane's dynamic isn't the first of its kind, it really goes deep!! The mutual importance to eachother is so precious to me.... Kohane who was given the chance to grow into her best self and An who gets to gets to share her love of music and Vivid Street. With An's crippling abandonment issues ESPECIALLY regarding kohane, anhane is a ship that is SO fun to play around with wherein it gives you the best fluff and angst....anhane so good

Akikoha is one of those ships where I will randomly get hit by the most severe brainrot of my life for a few days and then be fine but have to live under constant threat of gettjng killed by akikoha cuteness... akikoha is just so cute man!!! Disecting them down to a deeper level, I really love how they complement eachother in their world views and how they approach things!! They both admire eachother so much!!! With Akito and Kohane, they seem really different from wachother but all they want to do is prove themselves!!! I also love to see akito hyping kohane up!!! Good stuff!!!

I wish they had more in game content there's not even alot of them in card stories which is sad because that's usually where u can find the most content for vbs pairings outside of ahn/akty 💔💔💔 I think their dynamic in vbs main story is really interesting....... if you think toukoha is lame YOU are lame 🫵🫵🫵

Summary: How do you cope with the loss of a loved one? Take notes from Nicky.

Nicky sat alone by the tree he sat by on his first day of school.

He didn't mind sitting alone anymore, he enjoyed the silence now, but that peace was interrupted when Delroy sat next to him.

Nicky tensed up and scooted away from him.

They've never sat with each other before, mostly because of their enemy ship.

As he continued to eat, Nicky couldn't help but notice that Delroy was scooting closer to him.

"Am I bothering you or something?", he asked. Nicky rolled his eyes and put down his sandwich. "Not until now.", said Nicky. "I'm not gonna question your choices. Right now, I just wanna eat my lunch."

"So do I, man.", said Delroy, "Let's just pretend we don't know each other."

They ate in silence, but then Nicky noticed something in Delroy's pocket...

It looked like a golden apple coin...

His eyes widened, and without thinking, he reached into Delroy's pocket and pulled it out.

"Dude, what the hell?!", said Delroy. Meanwhile, Nicky was still panicking. "No! No! Not you too!", he said. People started to turn around to look at him, eyes widened in confusion, and some were even whispering behind their hands.

Delroy didn't care if Nicky was going to embarrass himself again, what mattered right now was that he needed his coin back.

He snatched it from Nicky's hand.

"Dude, get a grip on yourself!", he said. He pulled Nicky with him as he walked behind the tree. "Yes, this is one of those coins. It also happens to be my dog's collar."

Nicky's eyebrows furrowed in confusion, "Dog?", he asked. "I didn't know you had a dog. Then again, we only speak to each other when we're fighting, so I guess it kinda makes sense that you never mentioned it."

"Look, man. This is my dog, Dog's collar. He -"

Nicky put a hand up, "Wait a minute, your dog's name is Dog?"

"Yeah. So?"

A moment of awkward silence, "Like I said, I'm not gonna question your choices.", said Nicky.

Delroy rolled his eyes. "Look, as I was saying, I got a call from my auntie that he broke his collar and was running around the neighborhood. When I tried to catch up to him, I saw that he got run over by a truck."

Nicky's eyes widened.

"Animal control took the body, but...", Delroy paused for a moment, then he looked down at his shoes. He almost looked like he was about to cry. "Do you know Otto Kinander?"

"The taxidermist?", asked Nicky.

"Yeah.", replied Delroy. "I gave him Dog's collar some time before last week, he needed a sitter and he offered to take care of him. For some reason. When I saw it, I thought it looked a little different, since it was a little shinier than normal, but I didn't really care...until now."

Nicky's eyes widened once again, and Delroy sat back down when his legs started to shake.

"It's not fair.", he said, "Dog was special to me and he gets taken away from me by some asshole demon crow man."

Nicky sat down next to him, awkwardly putting a hand on his shoulder, "I get it, man. Really I do.", he said.

"How?"

"A couple of people who were really close to me died too soon too.", replied Nicky. "One of my friends, Mrs. Peterson, and my grandma. When I was kidnapped, I learned that another one of my friends was dead too, and Aaron was just suffering the weight of guilt."

"Aaron?"

Nicky nodded, "I don't know where he went after Mr. Peterson's arrest, but I hope he's not dead like the rest of them. When I'm alone, I like to cry my eyes out as I think about them."

Delroy's eyes widened. "Damn, I can see why he's like this.", he thought. "Look, man. That really means a lot.", he said. "Thanks for the talk. But do you know a private place I can cry?"

"Behind the school in between two dumpsters.", said Nicky. Delroy immediately got up and ran, "Thanks.", he said.

Meanwhile, Nicky just sat back against the tree and continued to eat his lunch.

I have opinions. On jaune. (Shipping wise)

To clarify this is just my opinion. And my opinion is

garbage

But I want to talk about my favorite noodle so stfu Im talking.

And this is not me going "oh this is how jaune should be treated in every single shiping fic". This is just me acting like I have a huge dick and stating my terrible, terrible opinions.

Let's start.

1: jaune doesn't get bitches. The Bitches, get him.

Not to some of you I know you're all kicking screaming vomiting and crying because "obobobo b-but jaune has to pull bitches! I-its the only way I can escape this cr-"

First, Jaune is not a self insert nor is he a character we project ourselves on. he is a character who has flaws and has his own personality.

He's an idiot and most of the times is a pessimist trying to be an optimist.

He gets things wrong, and he does really dumb stuff like faking his transcripts. He's not you, he's not me, he's not anyone else aside from Jaune

So when I say he doesn't get bitches, that's not being mean it's just kind of the truth, Jaune does not have a lot of confidence and when he does flirt he does it in really terrible ways, (just ask V1-3 Weiss)

But that's not everything I say because I also made sure to add that the bitches get him. Jaune is the kind of character who fails when he's trying because hes trying to seem like he's got things under control, he's going overboard which results in him comically failing, but when he's just being himself being a genuine person he does things really well. He is very much terrible at flirting and man has no skill with women, and he lacks confidence. Which leads to number 2.

2: Jaune is not cool. (In a good way)

Look I love my noodle man but even I can admit he is cringy. He does things to the max when he sets his mind to it which will fail. Because when he does those things he doesn't have either the confidence or the understanding he needs to do it. Take literally any attempt with Weiss he's tried asking her out, he's failed constantly because one he tries to impress which with Weiss makes him seem like he's just another fake face, after her heart for her name (which he isn't, it's just due to misunderstanding) he runs head first without the context or the confidence. He tries to impress but he comes off awkward like he doesn't know what he's doing. (Like that one time he tried asking her to the dance by playing the guitar and FAILING miserably.)

But just because jaune doesn't have the confidence or understanding doesn't mean he can't be cool.

He just can't be cool all the time. Jaune is a terrible liar and he's just upfront alot of the time. He's genuine and he is metaphorically unable to actually hurt people without getting welled up with emotions.

He's only killed ONE person, ONE actual person and we all know what that did to me. He broke and he was probably horribly traumatized.

Next is number 3

3: JAUNE IS NOT A SEX PRO.

Do I even need to elaborate on this? Please I don't want to elaborate on this!

There are many, MANY jaune fics that I don't like in certain aspects. And if their smut expecting to see atleast one thing.

Jaune not being a Dom. Or you know, not having experience.

Jaune.. is a idiot and he's... He's not skilled in a lot of things. And one thing that just BURNS me is jaune switching up and being all dominant and aggressive (that's one of the things I wanna avoid writing jaune as)

Just let the noodle be tender or Inexperienced, At least if this is his first time.

And on a semi-related note I remember reading this one nightshade fanfic that I really liked, where it had Blake asking Weiss for advice on Jaune when it came to sex and in the fic Blake had experience meanwhile jaune didn't and was nervous if they did fuck he wouldnt reach a vague standard he put. It was a really good fic, it was really hot as well and I can't find it and it drives me up the fuckin wall because I really wanna read it again because it helped prove my point when it comes to jaune having sex and it's just- UGH. (Please if you know what the fick is just message me the link I beg you, PLEASE of you find send it to ME!)

Look I just REALLY like jaune (to a concerning degree even) and I just REALLY wanna talk about how I view him and I just... I just can't cause I suck at writing essays cause my brains just-

Awesome! Some of my favourite episode would have to be...

Season 1 Episode 1 - I hate that Andy died but honestly I find it adorable how Matt and Kelly fight like a couple! Like seriously! It's like they broke up over Andy's death and still wanna be together. And how Kelly sneaks a piece of the corned beef from the fridge at the end. "Oh god it's so good!"

Season 2 Episode 13 - Where they have the blackout and everyone comes to stay at the firehouse. Matt is having memory loss issues and Kelly just seems so worried and internally protective of him.

Season 2 Episode 20 - The explosion at the charity run. Matt and Kelly's commentary is hilarious when they are under the rubble looking for Gabby. "Casey if we don't find a place big enough to turn around were gonna have to do all this backwards." "were gonna be smart about this now?" "er... No... Keep going"

Season 3 Episode 3 - The collision between Truck 81 and Truck 66. Kelly climbs up and says "You okay Case?" like what about everyone else? Giggles.

Season 3 Episode 4 - The subway shooting Kelly was involved in. This is actually the episode that inspired me to write my story The Journey Of 3 To 81.

Season 3 Episode 19 - Chicago Med on lockdown because the guy claiming to have the deadly virus explodes himself. Kelly was so heroic and Matt was so worried about him.

Season 4 Episode 8 - Herrmann rescues a robot! Not! It's a tortoise! So cool!!!

Season 5 Episode 4 - Matt is in the warehouse doing an inspection and the forklift driver bust open a chemical tank. Matt is so quick and saves the father and daughter. He digs through a wall with a chair leg! Kelly shows up and is calling for him and Matt calling out to him. So intense! Sparks were LITERALLY flying!

Season 5 Episode 8 - After Matt and Gabby say "I do" Kelly grabs Matts butt! I'm not even sure if that is supposed to be seen or is Taylor was joking around on set and they just left it in.

Season 7 Episode 10 - Matts apartment has burned down and he receives an offer from Kelly to move in with him. Need I say more?

Season 7 Episode 13 - The polar plunge and Kelly takes Matt out for date night. This is the episode that inspired me to write my story Call You Sev.

Season 7 Episode 14 - The chili cook off. Kelly and Matt cooking together is adorable. And Ritter and Tuesday as a team? That's just too adorable!

Season 8 Episode 3 - Where they get the new high tech call system. This always makes me laugh. Especially when Boden throws it out the door!

Season 8 Episode 4 - The infection episode. After they are cleaning up from the fire at the college, Kelly and Kidd are having a moment. All you hear is "Kelly get over here! Boden wants to talk to us" it's almost like Matt was jealous. It makes me giggle.

Season 8 Episode 13 - This one ALWAYS makes me cry. Where the elderly couple just moved to Chicago! There house burns down. The wife doesn't survive. Matt and Sylvie go find the man's cat Dusty. Then the tear jerker. Everyone shows up at the funeral to show the man the true Chicago support.

Season 8 Episode 20 - Capp is injured. Kelly and Matt go visit him and go to the doctor with him. It's so sweet.

Sorry thats a really long list. If you read all of that I'm so happy. If not I really don't blame you. I have autism and I kinda hyperfixated on your question. I love Chicago Fire!

People have more free will with his interpretation's so he has many many diffrent faces backstories, personalities but often people make him focused on something in their stories, examples being, getting back home, protecting others, getting over something, fighting in battle nexus and exploring how it would be Etc. Etc. That mixed with being a love intrest

Edit's/tiktok content where everything is short af (and even then sometimes people give em backstories and their own lore it really amazes me sometimes lmao)

Stuff I dislike in fanfic:

Note: I am not saying that you CAN'T write this stuff. There will always be tropes and other things that some people just don't like, and these are just some of mine. If you do any of the things listed here, PLEASE don't take this list as an insult.

When the fic is marked as complete, but when you eventually get to the end, it's obvious that it's not actually complete. This just pisses me off so much.

2. In x reader fics, when the character meant to be the reader runs away crying at the most random shit. Even when I was in my cringe Wattpad phase, when I read a fic where Y/N ran away from a neighbourhood barbeque in tears because a woman who mentioned that the love interest was attractive ONE TIME was there, I immediately clicked out.

3. Bad grammar. It's just been one of my massive pet peeves ever since I learned how to read and write.

4. When it's literally just a giant block of text. Like, no paragraph breaks whatsoever. I have trouble staying focused on one thing at a time already, this just annoys me.

5. Characters being forgiven WAY too easily. I read a fic with a part where Character A finds out Character B cheated on them with two different women at the same time (Character B told them all he was single), and all it took was a 'Darling, no, they meant nothing to me I swear' for them to be forgiven. I was gobsmacked.

6. No summaries. No offence meant if you don't write summaries, I just don't read fics without them.

7. Fics written specifically to bash certain ships. Like, I know Clay Puppington/Danielle Stopframe is toxic and unhealthy as fuck, leave me alone and let me read fanfic of them.

8. Sex positions that make me have to pause and just wonder how the actual hell a person can do that.

9. Not tagging something like Major Character Death because the author wanted to surprise the readers. I hate this because sometimes I wanna read fluffy and happy fics with absolutely no angst, and then this happens.

10. Bi erasure. As a bisexual person, it really annoys me when characters who have dated/been involved with (romantically or sexually) characters of the opposite gender in the past get called gay/lesbian for being involved with characters of the same gender. The same goes for characters who have been involved with characters of the same gender in the past getting called straight for being involved with characters of the opposite gender.

Once again, this is NOT meant to be offensive to anybody and if you were offended, I'm sorry.

So, my fav tropes/plots (with some specific ship related to them):

The 'to be loved is to be changed' kind of trope, which is not really what it's called, but it's like healing from trauma (or anything in general, really) through someone's love and closure (like A gets better cause B is always around) and I'm an absolute sucker for this trope, especially when it's well done and kinda realistic (I love realistic narrations, like teen wolf is supernatural but i love when the writer puts in the realistic aspect of their lives in such a universe). I like this with basically any ship I've ever read so far.

The 'true mates'. I'd go highs and lows to find this kinda trope in a fic, especially when they already kinds fit the naration of the canon or simply fits the dynamics. I love this one with Sterek, to me it's just a lovely way of being in love that makes it all look more and more lovey-dovey. (I know it's not realistc, but nothing is ever one sided, right?)

Angst with happy ending. I can't read angst if there's no happy ending, i would end up crying all day long and the fic would probably be stuck in my head forever. (I read them rarely, after i read one a long time ago it just got in my head and it still makes me cry, it was so beautiful and painful at the same time😭)

Generally, the 'first time' plot is one of the best for me. It could be sexual or not, but i always love readin them. I usually do this with Sterek and Henry and Alex from 'red, white and royal blue'. Warms my heart every time.

Gor the ships, i generally follow the same plots for every ship, like i read all of the above for Sterek (and I also write them myself) but the true mates is mostrly for the ships that ki da fits in my eyes. Like sometimes Hannigram when I'm feeling nostalgic.

For the 'to be loved is to be changed' (and yeah i took it from the tiktok trend but it fits so nicely and every single edit makes me cry) it's my favorite in basically every ship(?).

It just warms my heart cause it fits every single ship that you could think of cause it's basically what love is to its core (at least in my eyes). Like, you love someone and they love you, you two grow together and become someone else (usually a better version of who you already are) and just love each other through the whole progress and keep investing in one another. You decide to change some aspects of yourself (usually something that you don't like as well) to show your partner your love and the effort you put in your relationship.

Hiiii, just wanted to talk about the cesium ship. Really wanna write a fanfic about it but since I am relatively new with the ship, I'm having a hard time thinking of a plot. idea 1. idea 2. little bit of angst with this one but I feel its overall nice :) Okay so maybe smth about Pyro disliking taking their mask off because of (Insert your headcanon for this here, for me I just think they feel more comfortable in it than showing their face, but whatever floats your boat :D) and but thinks Miss Pauling will think theyre too weird if they refuse to take it off, so them hyping themselves up to try and take it off for her and then her just offhandedly mentioning how she likes their mask and just idk just her making them feel a lot more confident about it cuz yeah!! its cool!! theyre cool!! :)

idea 3. get into your idea of who asked out who!! how it happened!! i have my ideas but I would personally love to see 1001 takes on this i love everyones ideas :) tbh my idea is that Pauling would ask out pyro, going to everyone in the base for advice on how to do it (like scout because I like the hc of scout & pyro being besties, Demo because fight me demo and pauling are best friends I will talk about this sperately, heavy because he is the most like. competent at this, etc. this is just my idea you can do it any way you like :D) idk I don't wanna put to much into this because to give room for everyone to be able to get their own ideas from it !! :D

Ok let me see if I can get my thoughts into some kind of order on this lol 

I mean to use the most egregious offender as an example, let’s talk about Good Omens s2. Like we come from s1 and the book which operate on a huge scale of time and across the globe with world ending stakes, even when it’s focused on Tadfield or London. There is a whole cast of characters outside of Aziraphael and Crowly with their own motives and agendas that intersect with each other and you can imagine existing before and after the story being told. Then we enter s2 and they’re all gone. God is gone. It’s Aziraphael and Crowley, Gabriel (and Beelzebub), and their neighbors who exist purely to be a Functional Couple oppose A+Cs dysfunctionality. This is kind of the first sin of fanfiction in this case, the world gets smaller and shallower and so do the characters within it. It’s all just feels like props and dressing to get two characters together. The whole Gabe and Beelzebub thing? The only reason I didn’t “see it coming” is because I thought there was no way they would just rip straight from the crackships of AO3 because I have READ THAT PLOT BETWEEN THESE CHARACTERS TWENTY TIMES JUST LIKE THIS. 

Gomens s2 and also the other big recent Gay Shows, Our Flag Means Death and What We Do In The Shadows, really fuckin abuse fanfic tropes to death in more specific ways too though like - a sassy lesbian couple to set the oblivious gays straight, a will-they-wont-they with completely forgone conclusion, everyone is a shy sensitive guy even when they’re ruthless killers everyone is kind of stupid and woobie and seconds from crying all over their soft little love interest, everyone talking in this self actualized therapy speak - SO much very direct TELLING and the SHOWING is just eyecandy, fanservice. The second sin the formulaic predictability and the third is prioritizing fanservice/shipping over storytelling. 

Because that’s the main thing I think? These shows - which I wanna be clear I liked at least at some point but have gotten really disappointed by as they continue - feel like they don’t have a story to tell. They’re just vehicles to get a Gay Couple together, regardless of character consistency or the way more interesting things implied going on in the world around them, and they just shed more and more detail and quality and idk variety? as the main ship’s relationship progresses and the world narrows further and further. It becomes boring, one-note. 

And to cover my bases here I don’t want to be misconstrued as believing these things can’t be or aren’t also true of straight romance shows (or movies, books, whatever) because I think we’ve all seen plenty of Boring Straight Romance, and I am being somewhat generalizing for the sake of what brevity I can accomplish here. But I think the noticeable thing with specifically these new queer romance shows is that they are being aimed at and HEAVILY pandering to yknow 18 - 30 year old chronically online fandom queers because people like Niel Gaiman and Taika Waititi and whathaveyou have witnessed first hand (and made a lot of money from) the absolute frenzy this AO3 donating demographic with go into over this exact kind of content. 

In short, people figured out you can make more money off of really dedicated weirdos with bad taste than you can writing something with depth and substance.

“Henry!” you cry out, tears in your eyes. You lost count how many times you’ve climaxed. You stayed back in London while he went to promote Witcher 2. And you, being the good girlfriend, decided to keep Kal while he was abroad. At his behest, you joined him in the U.S., but you didn’t really want to. Not because of him, of course, but for…other reasons.

When you have been separated for awhile, Henry gets a little kinky. He seems insatiable from the moment he swept you up from the great room with kisses to him undressing you and tying you to making you scream and shudder as you wet his beard. He tied you to the bedposts facing him as leans against it, holding your hips while bouncing you and driving himself to bliss. Now you’re a weak and trembling mess, wrists crossed behind his neck as you sag against him, panting against his neck.

“Mmm, that was so good, baby, needed that,” he pants as he strokes your back. He plants butterfly kisses on your shoulder that leads to your cheek. He unties you and you take those seconds to simply admire his features—his jawline, his glare as he untangles the knots, and of course the natural flex and movement of his chest and arms as he does. He looks up, smirking at the fact he caught you. He playfully bites your ear and draws you close, whispering, “I’m famished. Wanna go out?”

You exhale. “Not really.” You don’t feel like dealing with the stares of people, people who see you with him and either can’t believe it or hate that you are with him at all. You don’t look at the meanhearted things people say online, and you are growing numb to young women who say things under their breaths. This doesn’t bother you so much in Britain, but you find in the United States it is in fact worse. You try not to talk to Henry about it; you try not to talk to him about how some people look at you in London, either. You just have to wait for their shock and resentment to blow over while they think they are waiting for you to join his GF cemetery.

He laughs softly. “How about we pick up something? Supper on the terrace?” He strokes your back.

Wow, umm.. A LOT. Other than the "of course" answer of tv shows, I get most of my fic + scene ideas/inspo from music. Lets say I have a scene idea and it's angsty, then I'm gonna listen to songs with lyrics and sound that fit the vibe i'm going for. While listening to the song(s) on repeat, I let my brain pictures do the rest of work, and if it creates something I like and know I can twist around be bit to fit my storyline as a whole, I choose that

but on the non-music flipside, me and my friend have tossed around ideas before just in texting and a lot of little things in Escapism came from those jokes/chats
