so i was listening to your gdwwb playlist the other day, and it's a vibe! i was wondering whether you associate certain songs on the playlist with certain characters?

also i feel like your taste in music really matches the vibes you give off (in a good way)

oh thank you!!!! :'D i'm really glad you like it! asdfjk;l i've actually been meaning to revamp that playlist a little now that i've reworked the concept, but i do still enjoy it. it is still accurate, i just want to make the vibes match More.

also that is an incredibly sweet compliment ty <3 my music taste is definitely Something but i'm glad it matches my vibes, in a way :'D

as for whether certain songs vibe with certain characters, the answer is yes! most of the songs in that particular playlist are general vibes, but there are a few that are references to specific characters or story beats.

some examples:

surface pressure from encanto is in there because it really vibes with jonah--this song was actually a huge inspiration for his development! the vibes of an older sibling forced to always be strong and never allowed to show weakness, expected to support the family and take on a huge burden... that's such a jonah vibe. --

the wayfaring stranger cover by the longest johns is a rat king song! i've talked about funny things with the rat king for the most part and kinda treated her as a joke character in many ways, but the story behind her is actually a bit,,, intense ADSFJKL. without going into details, know that the rat king's home is gone, and she's a wanderer in a world that is completely alien to her. she wants to go home, but she knows she never can. --

poor george by james supercave is a song that reminds me of elliot, which probably isn't too surprising if you know how much i apply that song to my poor little meow meow spencer middleton. however, here i take it for more if its intended meaning than my own interpretation--i relate this song to elliot's selfishness and entitled attitude, as well as how he believes himself to simultaneously be the hero of the story and a victim of circumstance, despite his vile actions. --

remnants in dreams from sally face is VERY much a vibes song, especially as it's an instrumental, but i also apply it heavily to shiloh. this is the song that plays in my head when i imagine dream sequences with them, which are a pretty big thing in this story, as well as just. their relationship with their trauma and lost memories in general, and their mother. --

aaand finally, runs in the family by amanda palmer applies to a few characters, but i most apply it to joan! because while a majority of joan's conflict comes from the loss of her wife, but i definitely think she is the product of some pretty severe generational trauma as well that is a large part of why she struggles so MUCH with her grief. she was raised to be the strong pillar others depend on, but she's a hot fucking mess and can't even depend on herself most days. which, y'know, 'surface pressure' applies to her as well, but i'm gonna keep this to one song per character. --

and as a bonus, bloody nose by jack conte applies to a character i'm still struggling to name and don't know how to talk about just yet :> just know. they're there.

I’m non-binary and I use all pronouns, but most times i like to lean towards they/them. I'd like to be referred to as Mika.

I’m pansexual but I’d like to be matched up with a male since most of my favs are male

I'm afab and I'm 171 cm tall. I have pale skin and green eyes, and long eyelashes that I'm very proud of. I have really light brown and curly hair, and i had it cut short in a pixie cut, but its started to grow a bit at the back. I have an athletic body shape, and I prefer to wear a binder to appear more androgynous even though I have a small chest size. I'm considering getting top surgery though. My style is dark Akademiya and alt depending on how i feel.

My personality type is INTJ 5w6, I’m similar to Diluc and Scaramouche the most. I come off as cold and unwelcoming to most people at first and I'm very closed off, but I’m very warm and chaotic once you get to know me. I have a hard time talking to others because I’m very shy, but I’m loud, chaotic and teasing to people I’m comfortable with, more like Heizou and Childe. I value loyalty and comfort above all else, and I try my best to make sure the people I care about know this even though I have a hard time at expressing how I feel. I speak through actions rather than words. I also have some autistic traits.

I don’t really have a main aesthetic, but recently my style has been more dark Akademiya. I like to appear well-dressed in button-ups, turtlenecks, slacks and trench coats. I also really like flannel, my favourite colour is red although i own several in many colours.

I tend to have a saviour complex, I want to be a detective when I’m older and use my brain to help others.

As for hobbies, I’m an artist and musician. I’m very picky with my tools and prefer to work digitally with the best programs and brushes I can get my hands on. My work has no meaning, I just draw what I like and what appeals to me. I draw for my friends on their birthdays. I use art to show that I care, putting lots of work to draw a character my friends care about is how I show that I care, I want to take time and effort to show them that I care. I can play the guitar and sing and dance too. Sometimes i compose and write songs. I also love reading in my spare time, I’m a maladaptive daydreamer, and spend a lot of time immersing myself in fictional worlds.

For a romantic partner, I see the personality above all else. I have no preference for gender, as long as they’re someone gentle and loyal. I also love a good sense of humour

My love languages are quality time and physical touch (giving and receiving), since I’m very touch-starved, I like to be physically close to my loved ones. This, paired with the seemingly quite intelligent nature that he picked up from you, only further heightened his interest in you

Once he learned that you were hoping to become a detective, he almost gave you the position right then and there

A couple of applicants had been hired for the jobs of Watatsumi's detectives, you amongst them. Some training for the position was in line, and Gorou, still captivated, took the opportunity to learn more about you.

At first, he went through some basic procedures of fake investigations, basic analyzation, etc.

Each time you cleared through each one with ease, he was stunned

To him, it seemed like you had already been a detective for ages, and it almost reminded him of Heizou's level of intellectual prestige

As the training sessions went on, he made them more personalized, and more difficult

He noticed that with each session he designed, he felt closer and closer to you

Every time you two met up, you would become more relaxed and comfortable with him, yet still not losing your apt nature

As the days went by, and as the end of your training approached, he was still in a bit of an oblivious state, only thinking his feelings to be that of a close friend's

That is, until he was thinking one day, about what the last training session should be like

Eventually, his mind wandered, away from your training, and just to you in general

Realizing that after a long time, he hadn't been able to plan anything, he decided to ask Kokomi for a little bit of assistance

Through this assistance, Kokomi pried a little at how he felt about you, and helped him come to his overall realization that he had fallen in love with you

"So, today marks the last day of your training until you can officially become a detective amongst Watatsumi's forces. Because of this, I have prepared a special gift to commemorate the occaision. Mika, I have- or, no, I've fallen- not literally, but- well- ah! I want to say that I've fallen in love with you!"

Why you two are compatible:

A loyal and brave general of Watatsumi island. Born with a beast-like fighting intuition and tenacious will, he can find a way to victory even in the most critical moments. He leads the Watatsumi troops, who have far fewer military resources compared to the Shogunate. Gorou strives to ensure that the inhabitants of this island will live in safety and peace.

Gorou is a virtuous person, seeking to ensure the safety and peace of Watatsumi, which fits well with your want to save/help people

In the case that Watatsumi receives you as a detective, he would likely already be naturally curious about who's in the position

Gorou is also a naturally loyal person, so if he were to fall in love, it would be incredibly likely that he would become highly dedicated to that person

We can also see with Gorou, that despite his job and position, he remains kind and gentle with everyone

Both of the aforementioned points pair well with your personal preferences for someone in a relationship

I feel like Gorou would also be very reassuring in a relationship, due to the previously-mentioned loyalty

For me, I can also imagine Gorou to usually have physical touch as his love language

Out of curiosity, I checked Gorou's height, and you happen to be a bit taller than him

Because of this, I think he probably gets just slightly embarrassed, because someone like Yae would likely tease him over it

I think that sometimes, when he sees some of the things you wear, he gets a little confused on whether or not your a visitor from Fontaine

He probably tries on your clothes sometimes, out of curiosity

Personally, I see him as the type of person to really like the arts, but he previously didn't have much time to learn about it, or interact with it

Because of that, I think he has a lot of interest in the things you make, and he would often spend a while just appreciating what you've made

He'd love listening to whatever songs you make, without a doubt

I think Gorou would be a bit interested in your daydreams

He would wonder what worlds you think of, what places you go to, what people you see (if any at all), and all of that

Generally, in a relationship, I think Gorou would be very affectionate

He'd probably want to spend a lot of time talking to you, doing things with you, and just being around you in general

A part of him likely enjoys the fact that you work with/near him, so he could always pop in and spend time with you

New Years Headcanons:

He probably prepared a little bit about a week before New Years

He scouted out the different areas of Watatsumi, and tried to find the ideal viewing spot for the fireworks he ordered

That said, he custom ordered fireworks for you

Eventually, he decided on the beach near the backside of Watatsumi, since it was rather secluded, and there was plenty of space for fireworks to be shot without any safety concerns

He prepared a ton of things in advance, everything from drinks, to snacks, to small activities, and more

When New Years Eve rolled by, he spent the day exactly how he planned it, so that by the end, he would have the perfect amount of time left to lead you through all of his surprises

As the hours flew by, and as you opened gifts, played games, and snacked away, it got closer and closer to twelve

Gorou, of course, was fully aware, and was ready to let off his final surprises

Right as the clock struck twelve, the fireworks had been let loose into the sky, and illuminated the starry blankets behind it with vibrant colors

As you had stared up into the skies splashed with new colors, he hugged you, and pulled you closer

"Happy New Years, Mika! I hope you liked this- because I want to do it again with you next year, the year after, and...well, until I can't anymore!"

of course, none other than king943 hSJADJSAJHAS. He’s a little secret I’ll let you all in on: the first person I actually noticed in TXT was,,,,,,, Kang Taehyun hSDHJAHJSDAHSA but he wasn’t my bias. I just thought he was cute (also amused me bc my BTS bias was Taehyung and I found a guy named Taehyun cute), but I didn’t stan them then. I started stanning when I saw ONE DREAM.TXT where they talked to BTS and found them really cute and endearing. Looking into them, they were wild, and chaotic and so fun and also i got rEAAAALLY attached to Soobin. So here I am. There u go, my stanning story.

Honestly, this would depend. If I’m reading a book and feeling very vintage with a hot cup of coffee, definitely a rocking chair. If I’m watching TV and basically just chilling I’d go for Bean Bag. I like maintaining the atmosphere.

I view it as in-between, because there’s always room for improvement. There’s always things to change, and consider, and make better. There’s no such thing as perfect.

Winter! Even if I’ve never experienced snow or winter before, the whole idea of snow is just really fun and endearing to me. One of my bucketlists is to see snow in real life. I think it has to do with the fact that I’ve always been this person to prefer the cold over heat.

what made you enter tumblr?

I’ve always been here! Just not in kpop tumblr. I’ve since deleted my old accounts and shame but i came back to write. It’s always been so stress-relieving to me, to write without any expectations on my back because I’m thinking about grades or a competition. Also Soobin simping is a daily thing and I gotta release it somewhere man

are you happy with where you are in life right now? why or why not?

Yes. I may not be the richest or the prettiest, or smartest or whatever, but I have a good family that loves me. I have good friends that support me and I have TXT and BTS to help me cope when things get overwhelming. I have a job that gives me a little bit of income (it’s not too common for college students here to get jobs like in the US, most of them just focus on acads) and all the means to continue my education amidst the pandemic. So really, I’m grateful for where I am now.

to see the boys in real life but for it to happen only once in your lifetime, or to meet the boys via online fan meeting as many times as you can in your lifetime? why?

Why do you have to do me dirty cj,,,,, prolly online. I may not get to hug them or anything but I get to talk to them still. As may times as I want to. And as a girl whose sanity literally just depends on Soobin giggles rn it’ll be very therapeutic to me to see them and talk to them as much as I could, even just through a screen.

omg ok it was april 2014, and I was procrastinating on homework and scrolling through youtube. shinee’s lucifer mv was recommended for some reason, and I was intrigued, so I clicked on it. From there, it just spiraled out of control. I was blown away like there’s this one dance move where they all lined up and taemin does this hand motion so fluidly and I was like “this is it.” More shinee mvs were recommended after I clicked that one, so I kept going and watching all the other ones until I watched them all. Their music is just so different and unique, like even after all this time, I can’t find another kpop group who mimics the music style of shinee. and all their solos are absolutely god tier, too!!! they really are gonna be my first and last kpop group. shinee withstood through my stan eras for other groups. I don’t think I’ll ever stop being their fan.

I also found snsd through shinee because their mvs were recommended after I clicked lucifer too. the first one I saw is the iconic gee. taeyeon stood out to me in those mvs. her voice is so distinct, and I’ve been a fan of her ever since. She didn’t have a solo then, but I searched up all her drama osts, song features, everything because I loved her voice so much even back then. so yeah, taeyeon and shinee will forever be my faves, and I love them a lot 💓

— how are you today?

I’m doing really good! I’m enjoying my summer, and my day is pretty lax. I’ve been facetiming friends, watching chopped, making banh bao with my mom, and doing my daily cardio ✨

— what book has had the biggest impact on your life?

the princess knight by cornelia funke. my elementary school did this thing where your parents can buy a book to donate to the school library under your name for your birthday. this was the book my sister chose for me when I was in kindergarten. I loved that book; I borrowed it so many times and kept rereading it. It’s a children’s picture book about a princess who secretly learns how to joust. the king tries to give her hand in marriage to the knight who wins the competition, but she defeats them all and chooses to marry the gardener’s son who she loves 💕

— what is something you think everybody should have done once in their life?

Travel. There’s just something so wonderful about going to a new place, whether that’s halfway across the world or just the town a few states over. It’s a lovely feeling embarking on an adventure to a place unknown to you where you can meet new people, try new foods even if it’s just a random dish at a restaurant you’ve never been to, and make memories with strangers that no one back home ever has to know about. There’s just something intriguing about being able to go somewhere else and be someone else for an hour or a day or a week before you return back home.

— what story are you the most proud of and why?

on my previous blog, I wrote a fic called the universe of us, and it’s 21k+ wc. I poured my blood, sweat, and tears into that fic, and although I can’t read it now without cringing, I really am super proud of myself for pulling through and writing that. The concept of it was unique, in my opinion, and I would love to rewrite it someday! 💫

on this blog, I am most proud of the dumbing down of love. that fic is personal to me because it is literally comprised of my college experiences in written format and the characters embody my friends. I wrote that over the span of 3-4 nights, and that’s the fastest I’ve ever written a fic of that length. the words just flowed so easily for that fic, and the quesadilla scene was the first thing I wrote, and I’m quite proud of that scene!! 💓

— what has made you really happy recently?

I graduated uni!!!!! 💛💛

— what is the first thing you want to do after this whole pandemic is over and it’s safe to go out again?

I want to eat sushi LOL I haven’t had it in four months, and I’m craving it so badly.... I also want to go out with my friends again! I miss being able to see them everyday and our late night shenanigans ):

— if you had to make a soundtrack/playlist based on your life, how would you call it and which songs would you include?

honestly, these are just a bunch of my favorite songs throughout my entire life. some of them don’t relate to me personally, but I remember listening them on repeat, and I still know all the lyrics to them 💘

I’ve always enjoyed writing, and my teachers sent me to the young authors’ faire every year from kindergarten to 8th grade. You don’t really get to write creative stories in class when you’re older though, and I stumbled upon fanfiction, and here we are. It’s not something I want to do as my job though. Super Mario Bros. Ice Capades - 1989

To commemorate the SMBIS’s 20th anniversary, here’s the infamous Mario Ice Capades video in high quality. Enjoy!

Original commentary from October 17, 2003

On Thursday, December 7, 1989, ABC presented an Ice Capades special on TV, hosted by Alyssa Milano (of Who's The Boss fame) and Jason Bateman (Silver Spoons; Valerie, Arrested Development). The show had many famous and talented figure skaters, music numbers and comedy acts, including segments featuring Barbie and the Super Mario Bros. This happens to be the 50th Anniversary of the Ice Capades that they taped, as the programs that the hosts and the audience had, with the Mario Bros and Barbie on the back. (The 50th Anniversary Ice Capades Barbie was released at this time also.) When the segment begins, the hosts are backstage when they spot some random people playing Super Mario Bros. Alyssa mentions that she's never played videogames before (*gasp*) and Jason brags to her that he is a master of Nintendo, proclaiming himself to be the "Video Prince." Then he tells her about the plot of Super Mario Bros. [It's interesting to mention that Jason refers to King Koopa as Bowser, because the entire show after this just calls him King Koopa.]

As they talk, they are interrupted when the monitor starts flickering and doing crazy stuff. Jason, who apparently know everything about Nintendo, states that it's a computer virus, which will, and I quote, "release all the evil forces stored up in the computer." @_@ Um...OK, "Mr. Video Prince", whatever you say. Then, who pops up? Yes, it's good ol' King Koopa (NOT Bowser!), played by the late 80's sitcom star Christopher Hewett, a.k.a. Mr. Belvedere. Koopa has released the virus and threatens to take over the world. His plan is very laughable at best, as it implies that a NES can be used to infect computers with deadly viruses, which probably can't happen. That, and he says he doesn't really want the world, but does it anyway because he loves causing trouble. It's nice to have hobbies, I guess.

The Mario set is decent enough. It looks like a 3-D version of the 8-bit SMB1, with pixelated clouds and trees in the background and a castle in the middle. However, it looks way better than what Mr. Hewett had to wear. His costume is very tacky and ugly. He doesn't even have anything over his face, just horribly applied green face paint around his moustache. His horns looked like dangly jesters' bells and he's wearing horrible plaid pants and a geeky red bow tie. On top of that, he's riding on a moving castle. You know the forts at the end of each level of SMB1? Yep, he's roving about on the ice on a castle. o.O

Koopa calls out his minions to destroy different computer parts that NES's don't have, including 2 Green Koopa Troopas, 2 miscolored white Goombas, 1 Hammer Bro (two Troopas and only ONE Hammer Brother?), a Red Paratroopa and a Spiny. The baddies' costumes were based on their official Nintendo designs, though they looked very non-threatening and somewhat cuddly-looking. The Goombas and the Spiny, about a meter or so tall, do seem to be radio-controlled, or have skaters crouched or something inside them. After this, Koopa pompously sings about how evil he is, with his baddies dancing around him...wearing plaid pants...on a moving castle...oooookaaay. Mr. Hewett had a very cultured, polite-sounding British accent, not like Cartoon Koopa's voice at all. He sang pretty well, but the lyrics were shallow and kinda childish. The song is short, thankfully, and only proves that Koopa can create plans for world domination much better than he can sing silly egotistical songs. After this, we see the Princess Toadstool (can't call her Peach yet, as this is still 1989, or all time and space will unravel around us and disappear), who has a huge, horrid mascot-like head and a cliché Mae West-ish Hollywood voice, off to the side with her subjects of plumber pawns with her. Another note is that the Princess's costume is based on the official Nintendo design; she has blond hair, instead of red/brown from the cartoons. Princess Pea....Toadstool, helpless to stop Koopa, then summons the Mario Bros., who for some reason arrived from the sky with the help of their trusty support wires. @_@ [Here's something I just noticed: In the scene when the Princess talks to her people before she calls the Bros. from the heavens, you can see the Marios behind her, with their backs turned to the audience. Sloppy editing.] After being briefed on the situation by Princess, Mario and Luigi, with their very stereotypical Italian accents and oversized, misshapened mascot heads, protect the Maiden in Distress from the horrible men in Koopa Troopa suits. The Princess helps out by sending out carts containing kids from the audience to assist the Bros. Koopa then scoffs at the Marios for sending children to do a man's job. So, one by one, Koopa sends out his legions of dumpy villains to defeat the Bros. However, Luigi dons his airgun/cardboard box out of nowhere and mercilessly kills each bad guy with sparkler blasts that are later added in. The effect of the baddies dying is just crude and leaves one to think how it'll work without the superimposed TV special effects of them just fading away and disappearing to low-budget heaven. Koopa, realizing that his army of extras is failing him, decides to attack the Bros. himself on his mobile fortress with his Spiny. The Marios and the children in the carts surround Koopa, totally ignoring Spiny altogether from the onslaught of death and sparkly insanity. After Mario spouts a remarkably bland joke/pun, the children vanquish the Koopa King with their big foam wrenches and dirty plungers in a blast of sparklers. Cheesey fanfare music plays afterwards, proclaiming the death of the Koopa King, as the children are returned back to the audience, without getting any complementary gift for being a part in the show.

In the end, the Princess, who now just looks like a giant, mutated blow-up doll, congratulates the Marios by giving them the "Purple Plunger for Bravery" or "The Incredibly Cheap Cardboard Hero Prize.". Then, the Bros. have a disgraceful squabble about bragging rights. Note that in all this, Mario does absolutely NOTHING to help out. Luigi killed all the minor foes and commanded the children to kill Koopa. Lazy, lazy Mario... Backstage, the monitor that the hosts were watching all this goes back to normal, then for no reason, Alyssa announces that she wins the game by default, although she doesn't even play it at all, leaving "Jason the Video Prince" in a stupor.

More research led me to a site belonging to a Mr. Michael Baroto, a costume designer who made these all the characters for the show, including the baddies, the Bros. and Peach. Apparently, he had only 3 months to make three sets of ten costumes, as well as two other costumes for another show. Seeing that he had to make 30 costumes in the short a time span, this would explain why the Marios and Peach looked so rushed. They don't do his talents justice, however, as his other works, including puppets, dolls and marionettes, are very creative and well-made. There are production photos of the Mario costumes in the previous link. If you ever get to read this, Mr. Baroto, please don't take my negative comments personally. ^^;;;;;;

Here's something I just noticed after watching this over again. Apparently, they deviated from what they'd usually do at a live show and made it extra special for the TV show by adding those "special" effects and camera angles. Also, they taped this when the audience wasn't present, as the seating couldn't been seen at all. They do show some stock footage of people watching all this and laughing at the bad puns, and of the kids getting out of the carts when the show was over, never getting compensated with gifts and whatnot for killing off the "mighty" King Koopa.

However, doing this just made the show worse, as there were obvious editing mistakes. For example, you can see enemies that were killed off later hanging about off to the side when the children return to the audience. In another instance, right at the end, you can see a lone boy sitting on the ice in the background playing with a wrench behind Princess Toadstool before she hands out the awards. Then he disappears in the next shot. And let's not forget the earlier example of the Marios already on stage before they arrive from the sky. Very very sloppy, even for late 80's television. Of course, this was a time when little kids wouldn't care less if the show was crappy or not. It had Mario, and that's all that mattered.

tell me the first song that made you stan your current fave group and why did your faves attract you so much?

ok SO the song that probably got me into rv 100% (also yes ik this blog is 99% nct but rv is my forever fave no question) was probably ice cream cake!! i had been a casual listener of many groups up until that point and had never really stanned anyone, but icc was so infectious i found myself watching it over and over. i had heard happiness and be natural before but hadn’t really listened too closely, so icc was the song that captured me. after that, dumb dumb only cemented my love for them more, and the red is still one of my favorite kpop albums to date. rv attracted me primarily because of their incredible vocals and their versatility in genres and concepts. i still get so excited wondering what they’ll tackle next!! they’re just soooo unique and have one of, if not the best discographies of any group. i cannot stress enough, I. Love. RV!! also they’re funny and gay so. anyway stream monster once it drops uwu

1. what is your favorite song that’s been released during quarantine? ooooo honestly??? probably something off of Sawayama. literally every song bangs so hard i highly recommend that album to anyone!! i can’t pick a favorite off it but who’s gonna save you now is awesome and xs is just,,, chef’s kiss

2. what is your greatest mishap when you tried cooking? (or something you’ve witnessed) one time, while making soup at my late grandmother’s house on her like gas stove, i put a lid on a pot and somehow that led the pot to be engulfed in flames. IN MY DEFENSE i was like 7, and i’m great at cooking/baking now

3. what’s your go-to outfit or article of clothing? oh i love a nice dress. they can be casual or formal, and you look like you put effort into your outfit except i didn’t because i didn’t have to match anything yo!!!! also shorts have trouble fitting me cause i’m a weird body type so dresses tend to be very comfy for me

4. what is your comfort food? am i allowed to say like all food??? eating in itself is comforting,,, that sounds depressing but also i just like eating yummy food. i guess i’d say like my dad’s fried rice?? its my fave and no one makes it like him soooo

5. what singular moment in your life would you like to relive? i couldn’t tell if this meant like, a good moment you want to re-experience or go back in time and redo a moment and fix it. it’s kind of a hard question so i might cop out and go with a bit of a silly answer: i want to relive the hi touch with astro...... i wanna look at rocky’s beautiful eyes and touch moonbin’s hand ok,,,,

6. what is your favorite line and/or character from a movie, show, or book? i got a bunch but a few off the top of my head are genie lo (the epic crush of genie lo), ty lee, suki (atla), klaus, and ben (umbrella academy)

7. if you could only choose one ice cream flavor and pizza topping/style for the rest of your life, what would it be? ice cream flavor: this very specific one from a local store that is banana ice cream with strawberries and oreo mixed in. it is heaaaavenly. as for pizza topping, i love a breakfast type pizza with an egg on top and like sausage and stuff!!!

8. what is the worst injury you’ve ever had or witnessed? funny enough, i’ve actually gotten badly injured quite a few times, and always on the face!! god hates me. the worst was probably when i hit a metal bench with my face and it took a chunk out of my cheek. i still have the scar! as for “witnessed” i accidentally broke a grown man’s rib once as a child, so i guess that would count.

9. would you rather explore the unknown of space or the bottom of the ocean? oceaaaan!! i answered this in some other game, but i like how mysterious and yet close the ocean is. like proximity wise it’s so near, yet there’s an insane amount we know nothing about. that’s so frightening but so intriguing

10. if you could be any cartoon character, who would you be? my first thought was literally “kirby. eat fast” GOD my followers are gonna think i’m just a glutton and they’re not even gonna be wrong im dying. but uhh idk mulan or smth?

Digimon Cyber Sleuth and other fandoms

Hi! Welcome to my humble partner search. Before going into detail I'll explain "my rules", I know it's a boring part but it helps us both to know if we are compatible. Check out the bolded words for a quick navegation/ summary.

- I prefer to roleplay with +18 people, even if we don't get to touch anything +18 like descriptive gore, smut and such (we can though). I'm over 18 and while in my younger years I roleplayed with both minors and adults, I'm not comfortable enough now that I am myself a legal adult.

- Quantity. I've been told that I'm on the literate side, or semi-lit, or lazy lit (at this point I don't even know what all of those mean exactly ;u; ) but I know that sometimes one doesn't have the energy or just not enough to work to make a +1000 words post. So Quality> Quantity but please give me something to work with (my "lazy/small" usual is around 600 words per character I guess). You get stuck? Let's talk about it. I'm also here for the long term.

- Doubling is required. I like to play both Canon and OC (CanonxOC trash here) and I intend to keep doing it. Do you want to play a canon for me? Please tell me you have a canon you want me to play against your OC. I get easily bored when I don't get to play more than one main character, and I like to build different kind of relationships (friendships, rivalries...) on my RPs, so I expect you to like playing multiple characters (it can be as I said like having two mains and then the others being like NPCs to build the scenes). And I prefer to double with a male canon character usually. Why? I don't know to be honest but that is how it works for me. Note: There may be exceptions to this rule, like fandoms where I prefer OcxOC pairings, but the doubling rule still applies and I'd like to play a female and a male OC.

- About OCs.... I used to accept any kind of OC but I've gotten tired of Mary Sues and all angst kind of characters. I know, it doesn't mean your OC is bad, but bear with me, I've had enough with those characters. This doesn't mean that your character can't have a sad story or that they need to have a happy personality. The problem is when the only thing they do is a constant monologue about their tragic past and they never move the story forward. It gets boring. I want to be hyped about your OC! Choose songs, pinterest boards...

-MxF is what I'm looking for in mains right now (playing both male - most of the time the canon - and female).

- Let's both contribute to the story. Maybe one has more ideas one day, or one suffers writers block, but let's work together yeah? I also prefer if we use both 3rd person, it can be present or past, as you prefer, but 1st is a bit difficult to me.

-When it comes to romance, love at first sight isn't my thing, I usually go with the slow burn/ "organic" path. Maybe you're more impatient, it's ok, I don't mind speeding up things, but not just saying hi to each other and wanting to marry instantly. I like to keep the main genre of the series and focus on our character's development more than having romance as the only and main focus.

- Don't feel forced to answer every single day. I can't stress this enough. This a hobby, not a job. Even if I answer at the speed of light I'm not expecting that from you. There will be times that I won't be able to answer for days, life comes first. And I like OOC, share all your memes, silly headcanons, and feel free to chat with me even if you haven't replied to the RP. I've seen some people hiding that they are online to not be pressured about their RPs. I won't pressure you.

I think that those are the basic rules. I have triggerings and so but I think I prefer to talk about those matters with someone already interesting in roleplaying.

Now, the fandoms (AU/ Aged up friendly). I'll include what (canons I'm interested in); usually a list, so don't worry if we have one or two in common, and then those who I feel [more confident playing as]. Your canon isn't there? Talk with me, I may want to give it a try if you're patient with me. Most of the canons I feel comfortable about playing are going to be male, I may list females and open the option of a CanonxOC where in your side I play a canon female, but I may require a bit of convincing, because again, I like playing males and females in my roleplays.

I was looking through the hp rp tag, and to be honest I was looking specifically for a Sybill Trelawney to play that I felt was actually a good representation of her character and also sat within an rp that had a good plot aha

WHAT HARRY POTTER CHARACTER DO YOU IDENTIFY WITH MOST?

Maybe a cliché but I really loved Ginny (in the books of course, don’t EVER get me started with the mess they made of her character in the movies dear god) she was spunky and confident (and ginger like myself, which tbqh has made me slightly bias in favour of the whole Weasley clan. Like you’re telling me not only do they deal w/ shit for being blood traitors but they redheads too??? Hard knock life, my man.) And of course my dear Sybill, who was just trying to be understood in a world that wasn’t quite ready for her.

Alycia Debnam Carey isn’t an fc I’ve ever worked with before but after browsing her tag and doing a little research she seems an excellent choice for Sybill in my opinion, and since she’s your chosen fc too I’m sure you’d have no problem with me picking her. (I am also partial to Juno Temple as Sybill, but I kinda feel that’s getting a little overdone)

REASON FOR CHOSEN CHARACTER

Uhhhh this is just a general comment but I really love that you’ve made Sybill a big of a fighter and actually self confident like all the time I see her portrayed as this scared little thing and I don’t think that’s accurate, like I’ve always felt that (at least in her younger years, before the world beat her down a bit) Sybill would have been a passionate and confident woman with faith in her gift and a desire to set the world to rights. Her words aren’t always tactful, sure, but I think everything Sybill says she says because she thinks it needs to be heard.

When I first read about this Aversio group you’d created I wasn’t sure that putting Sybill in with such people was the right choice but after a little thought the idea really grew on me. I think Sybill’s visions have forced her to witness so much death and destruction that she has been powerless to prevent, and who wouldn’t be made angry like that? Who wouldn’t grab the first chance that came along to take back some of that power, to try and defend the people she loved? Sybill is part of this group for all the right reasons. She’s fighting for freedom and safety, but she’s not naïve, she doesn’t think the order sitting around and just waiting to form counter attacks are doing enough. I also feel she was something of a loner in school and despite being quite clever was never really invited into or considered for the order and so perhaps this comes from the ever so slight niggling urge she has to prove herself, because despite being a hippy dippy seer she’s also capable of affecting change and taking part in things. (If anything her visions and prophecies have only made her more determined to change the world, for she will have seen how truly tits up everything could go.)

I just have a longstanding love for Sybill, she’s always been unafraid to march to the beat of her own drum. Like, refusing to take on the name ‘higglebottom’ and so causing the end of your own marriage?? That’s hardcore. That’s a woman who won’t take no shit. Yeah, I love Sybill and I am forever searching for an rp with what I feel is an accurate representation of her. This is getting long so I’ll wind it down now, but if you’d like to hear anything more about my love for Syb pls just do message me lmao.

Sybill has always been wary of romance and love. With her gift it is easy to see the multitude of ways things can fall apart. Not only that, but it is hard to find someone with complete faith in this gift of hers, someone who truly believes all her madcap ramblings and feels the power of nature and the universe as much as she does. (Of course, she would only ever settle down with someone who believed in this power as much as she did and yet like her was not afraid to question it.) Sex is different to romance, though, I think Sybill views sex as something much simpler and it’s very much a pleasure she indulges in without ever feeling guilty about it. Honestly I think she can be quite the flirt when she wants, not ashamed of her desire to lure a man or woman into her bed for the night, because why should we deny ourselves such a simple craving? We shouldn’t.

As far as ships go I’m very happy just to go with the flow, nothing prioritised. Sybill goes by she/her pronouns, did consider them/they for a while but after some contemplation in the forest realised her energy was decidedly feminine in its nurturing and care, even if it was a little wilder and more adventurous. (Sexuality I touched on a little above, i feel like she’d be very fluid about it and call herself bisexual if pushed on the subject)

Self-assured- Sybill has gotten comfortable with her gift of sight, and by extension- since she’s long felt like that was the most drastic aspect of her personality- the rest of herself. She’s confident in who she is and the doubts of others can no longer throw her off her chosen course.

Free-spirited- spends a lot of time out in nature, but its much more than that. Sybill is very unassuming and so as long as what/who you are is not a cause of harm (for example, unless you are a death eater) she is quite happy to not only let you continue with your life and hobbies, but likely also interested in learning about it. She is happy for you to be in love, she is happy for you to mindlessly fuck, she is happy for you to abstain and spend all your time writing. As long as your soul is good and warm, you can be counted as a friend of Sybill’s.

Crafty- well, there’s the obvious definition of her being artistic which is true, Sybill likes to paint and tell fanciful stories and take one mans trash to make into her own treasure. But her crafty mind also makes her quite statistical, she can wriggle her way out of almost any problem and really earns her keep as one of the strategic minds of Aversio.

Genuine- Another fairly obvious I feel. Some of the stuff Sybill says may be odd, but she means every word of it. This applies to her actions too. She has not one conniving or manipulative bone in her body, she never lies. Everything Sybill does is honest and true to the core of who she is.

Dreamer- constantly lost in her own world. Idealistic almost to a fault, often too optimistic about the future. Sometimes too optimistic about the present and so gets herself into dangerous situations just because she underestimated the circumstances.

Emotional- oh GOD if you criticise Sybill’s shoes she will CRY for a week. If you call her pretty in passing it will make her smile all year. Let me be clear here I don’t think Sybill holds grudges or has preferences, but I think she remembers everything that people do and everything impacts her as much as it did at the time it truly happened (does that make sense? Every time she remembers that Lily once complimented her hair it fills her with the same joy as the initial compliment did, for example.) I think this is why her gift takes such a toll on her, every bad thing that happens (whether it really ends up happening or not) affects her psyche terribly.

Dramatic- it’s very up and down with Sybill. I think being dramatic is good and bad, because every small show of kindness is an absolute joy but also every little negative moment or action is the worst betrayal imaginable. Nothing is done in halves by Sybill.

Weird- I mean self explanatory. She talks to plants, she’s constantly blabbering on about the energies of nature and the universe. She relies too heavily on her inner eye to guide her rather than just watching and responding. It’s a weirdness she’s comfortable with but that doesn’t mean everyone else is so ok with it, sometimes she makes people uncomfortable with her frank statements and odd habits.

Sybill can play guitar. Yeah, she loves music, I think she plays guitar really very well and finds it quite relaxing (can’t think about anything else if you’re trying to master difficult songs y’know) but it isn’t a talent she often shares.

She writes poetry too, doesn’t call it that, just calls it writing. Often times her visions and prophecies can be a lot to digest and so writing about it all can help to sort her crazy imaginings from what might actually be possible.

Not adverse to substance abuse. She lives alone, and sometimes being part of Aversio leaves her incredibly amped up and angry, so it can be difficult to sleep. A few glasses of whiskey or a couple of joints sort that problem out, though.

Can get aggressive with fellow Aversio members. See she knows they can handle it and all the negative energy has to go somewhere (where else would she take it out? Nature? Absolutely not.)

She meditates because it helps focus her inner eye.

-A FEW POTENTIAL PLOT POINTS

This aggression with Aversio members might be an interesting one- like, does she think some of them are really just death eaters afraid to admit that? Are some of them scared of her? Do they think she’s too pushy with the people she’s supposedly aligned with? Yeah, lots interesting to say there.

Of course as an Aversio member there’s always the chance that the order or DE might find out that she’s part of such a group and try to sway her one such way (the DE would have no chance, and i don’t really see the order being much luckier, though she may be willing to form some kind of cooperation with them.)

There’s always the chance of her abandoning everything to just live in the forest.

I think I’d like to invent a potion that would make me immune to all poisons. To be honest, that’s one of the few things that forces me to buy actual food from shops and stops me from living purely off the foods nature provides. I’m quite worried about being poisoned by something not meant for me you see, so if I had a potion that meant no such poisons affected me I would live only off the bounty provided by nature.

I think Xenophilius Lovegood would make for very good company. He’s easy on the eye and we’re both the types who see more in the world than most people do. I don’t suppose i’d pick anyone for their ability to keep me safe- I’m quite capable of that, thank you. Rather I think I’d pick Xenophilius because we would not run out of things to talk about. Ad far as objects go, maybe a sword? They fascinate me to be perfectly honest- so violent, so pretty- and I think it would be most useful should magic fail me.

♔ What kinds of decisions are the most difficult for you to make?

Who to send on missions or counter attacks. It’s never very easy to decide if you need stealth and logic or aggression and strength, you know? And always I am so fearful that by sending the wrong type we will do more harm than good.

♔ What is one thing you would never want said about you?

That I am a liar. That’s easy, people can say much about me as long as they always believe I am true.

WRITING SAMPLE

Sybill could not sleep. This was not a rare occurrence. More often than not she’d use alcohol or drugs to knock herself out for the night, acutely aware of all the work that there was to be done the next day and so too focused on being alert for that to be concerned with her own body. Tonight, however, she chose the forest. And drugs. There was a lovely little wood right by her house (would Sybill move anywhere without nature close by? Of course not.) And so she meandered through the trees until a small clearing came about, settling herself with a joint and her notebook for a sleepless night.

See, tomorrows attack did not directly involve her. It was more an urban stealth mission, not really her style, and so she saw no harm in turning up to the meeting a little tired and out of it. Hey, she was usually ‘out of it’ as far as the others thought anyway, and so what was the harm really. So for this plan she had taken more a strategic role, using her gift to her advantage to help plan the timing, who she be where and when they should be there. It was something of an arduous task to be honest, left her a little drained to look so closely at individuals, but Sybill would never complain about it. Her inner eye was a gift very few possessed and she intended to use it to it’s full potential.

Besides being out here among nature’s glory with her writing and a joint would be sufficient to restore the balance of her energy. She took a drag and sighed into the quiet night, shifting to lay on her back and feel the full flow of the earth against her body. Her fingertips tingled and her toes curled. God, you know what would really help her sleep? Sex. But so few were as interested in no strings in the same way she was. Still willing to form a connection and truly bon with each other, just not so insistent that such a bond be permanent. It was okay to need someone only for a night or two. The summer she’d bounced around muggle music festivals had spoiled her, obviously. Maybe most wizards were so interested in commitment because it carried on the family name.

Not that she could blame them for such. Cassandra Trelawney had claimed the gift skipped three generations after all and by golly the family had seen to it that her point be proved. The idea made her giggle, bright energy pushing out against a dark sky.

Whatever the case, she was antsy and restless and worried about tomorrows plans. Worried about tomorrows’ people. If things went wrong those few were the ones who would pay most dearly. She closed her eyes, trying to feel the influence of the universe move through her and search for the answers she desired. Would tomorrow be okay? Had they chosen well? The universe, as it so often was in what it considered small affairs, had little more to offer than a small reassurance that Sybill wasn’t driving towards utter disaster.

Oh, wow, that’s a lot XD I’ll try to do as many as I can, but I shall try to keep it briefer than usual. If something is too difficult, then I’ll skip. Let’s go! 1) Spotify, SoundCloud, or Pandora? My friends are trying to get me into spotify, I tend to use soundcloud more, but my preferred way of finding new music has often ended up being accidentally leaving youtube on in a tab after a song finished, and having it cycle through sort-of related music.

3) what color are your eyes?Reasonably light brown. Someone was once nice enough to tell me they look like honey, when I’m in the sun.

5) what is your relationship status? Not where I see myself in the longterm.

7) what color hair do you have?Darkish brown. I dye it almost exactly the colour it naturally is. Or was, before the Grey Hair Fairy frosted my temples with some serious silver.

9) where do you shop?The high street, and online? Nowhere particularly fancy. Occasinally I’ll be tempted by something off etsy. 11) favorite social media accountIn terms of personally, I keep up with a lot of people I don’t see often through facebook. 23) describe your dream dateI don’t know about dream, but a nice lunch on a sunny day, followed by a trip to a gallery or a museum, or perhaps a nice walk is 1000 times better than catching drinks in a crowded bar. As for anyone who drags someone to excercise on a ‘date’…no. Just no. 25) what color socks are you wearing? They happen to be black socks with tigers on them.

27) do you have a job? what do you do? I sometimes give hope, I always give support, but I cannot always give life when time has run out.

29) whats the worst thing you have ever done? The thing I’m most cringey about is the time I offended a classmate in primary school. I must have been 7. They asked me why I didn’t invite them to my party, and I gave them a reason that was both untrue and rude, and in the end I invited them and I came. But I’m still not sure why I did that.

I don’t know. Names I prefer in guys I’m seeing? Or for future kids? Or characters? Because those answers would all be different…

37) do you read a lot? whats your favorite book? I love to read, with a passion. But I go through periods where I read a lot, and others when I read much less. Picking one book would be an impossibility.

39) do you have a nickname? what is it? Trying to find one which isn’t some derivative of my name, or just plain weird is hard.

41) top 10 favorite songsThis would probably require too much thought to answer right now.

43) what is your skin type? (oily, dry, etc)Oily. Definitely wasn’t blessed on the skin front, but such is life. Weirdly, friends keep telling me they thinl I have clear skin, and I’m like ‘whose face have you been looking at?!’ Which just does to show that we’re the only ones who notice our own blemishes. Take for example, scars. I have a few (!!) on my face, and people can know me for years and not realise they are there. Then literally turn around one day and say “OMG, what happened to your FACE?” To which I reply… “Um, nothing? It’s always like this.”.

45) how many kids do you want? This is not something I’ve really thought about? Enough to keep each other company, but not so many that I’m spending the next 500 years changing nappies. So 2 or 3, I guess?

47) what type of house do you live in? (big, small, etc) Whatever kind of house I can afford. I don’t realistically see myself affording to live in London, and I don’t realistically see any chance of a big house if I live in the UK. But such is life.

49) what was the last compliment you received?On one of my recent night shifts, one of the nurses asked me where I was from. And I told her (people don’t usually know, or care, much about my country, but I see no reason to lie), and she said “I wanted to know why, because you are so confident. The way you talk” And I was taken aback. “Confident? ME? Really?!?”. To which she replied, laughing “You think you are not?”. All this time I’ve been quite reserved, and always told by my seniors that I ought to have more faith in my clinical decisionmaking and just be more assertive, it was quite surprising to find out that someone saw me bumbling along on my night shift and thought I looked and sounded confident. 51) how old were you when you found out santa wasn’t real?Probably around 7? I was apparently not amused. I can’t remember. In retrospect, perhaps it’s odd that I always knew about the birds and the bees but not about Santa.53) opinion on smoking?Not a good idea, but often understandable. Nearly always started when we are very young, in order to fit in or belong. I grew up with one parent being a smoker (they quit, yay!) and have friends who smoked since their teens, so I can understand how hard it is to give up, and what addiction means. But one thing I really don’t understand is grownups “socially smoking”. At all. It’s flirting with addiction, has no benefits, and just drains your money? I feel that most people my age who indulge in social smoking really should probably know better. But then that applies to many things in our lives.

55) what is your dream job? To be a magical girl/superhero. Being a doctor who draws comics shall, however, suffice until I get called into service by a cute magical familiar.

57) do you take shampoo and conditioner bottles from hotels? I used to use them, but I wouldn’t say that I would stock up on the whole stash. Though I have a sad feeling that they chuck the ones you don’t use, so maybe we should all be taking them?

59) do you smile for pictures?I used to never smile for pictures, because I had over-large incisors with a noticeable gap in them, and felt really self-conscious about them for most of my life. Then I stopped caring. But lately I realised my teeth no longer look oversized, and the gap has kind of shrunken, a little to my dismay.

61) have you ever peed in the woods? Another bizarrre question. I don’t hang out in the woods, but if there were no toilets within reasonable access, then I would? Pee is aseptic and the entirety of nature does it, plus it’s hardly going to get in anyone’s way?

63) do you prefer chicken nuggets from Wendy’s or McDonalds?I don’t even think we HAVE Wendy’s, so I guess the golden arches win by default?65) what do you wear to bed? Pajamas, because it’s usually cold? Unless we’re talking about entertaining…

67) what are your hobbies?Answering memes and solving the internet’s problems. Sometimes I draw. 69) do you play an instrument?I cannot manipulate notes like I manipulate words. I sort of learned the recorder and piano a little bit, but despite lovely encouragement, I don’t have the time nor the patience it would take to be good at music. I find it a very attractive quality in others, though!

71) tea or coffee?Coffee in the morning, tea at teatime (duh) and hot chocolate at night.73) do you want to get married?I would like to end with a relationship that is stable, comfortable and friendship blended with being lovers. It’s not that a piece of paper has meaning, rather that being sure you want to be with someone for the forseeable future is what makes it special. Sometimes it takes being willing to discuss that bit of paper for both parties to truly know how sure they are to share each others’ lives. 75) are you going to change your last name when you get married? Definitely not intending to. Sometimes my last name is a pain, because nobody can spell it, or pronounce it. And it’s so long that hyphenating would make it even more of a pain than it already is. But I’m attached to my name, it’s a part of me and my ethnic identity, and definitely am not going into relationships with an idea that I “have to take my husband’s name”. They can take mine, if they wish. Perhaps I’d be tempted to if someone’s name was just incredibly awesome, who knows? I would rarely rule anything out before the fact. But I certainly don’t intend to.

77) do you miss anyone right now? Yep. Don’t we all?

79) do you believe in ghosts?I’ve never seen one, and I’d rather not, thanks. I believe in not tempting fate and staying in my own lane, paranormally speaking. 81) last person you calledFunnily enough, just a work colleague. I missed a call at work (we were both on call) , and called them after the shift, which is when I realised they’d called. Fortunately we’d already taken care of the situation.

Oh You Pretty Things

Game: FFVII, FFXV, and Kingdom Hearts

Notes: I just wanted to write a fic about Cloud’s cross dressing because I know he does in the game for a mission but I feel like in a regular universe he might do it as more of a fun, enjoyable thing.

Makeovers weren’t a new or rare thing for Cloud, he has two girlfriends who like to dress him up pretty all the time, but it had been a long time since he’d had Aqua do this for him. So the eldest Strife sat in front of her, eyes pointed to the ceiling as she put eyeliner on his lower lid.

“You’re looking a lot better than you were when you first got here, Cloud.”

Cloud smiled a little, trying not to move as Aqua brought the eyeliner brush close, “Is that your subtle way of saying I looked like crap when I got here?”

Aqua pursed her lips and smacked him lightly on the shoulder, “That’s not what I meant and you know it.”

Cloud chuckled. He did know. His cheeks were no longer gaunt and the dark circles had almost totally disappeared from under his eyes. The only downside to being better was that it meant his vacation was ending soon. Aqua pulled out a tube of lipstick gave it to him so he could apply it himself and he turned to the mirror to do so, seeing the perfect smoky eye and winged eyeliner that he and Aqua had worked on for years to perfect, since he was 13 and she was 12. He put on the red lipstick while Aqua put on a pink just a few shades darker than her natural lip color. She smirked at him in the mirror as he tried to tame his hair into lying flat. “You know that’s never going to work.”

Cloud grumbled, “I can try,” sighing as he saw her get out her curling iron. “Just try not to burn me.”

“It happened one time, jeez!”

Once his hair was tamed into something that resembled a curly bob he pulled out his phone, taking a selfie with a kissy face and sending it to his group chat with Zack, Aerith, and Tifa. He sent it with the accompanying caption of, ‘how do I look?’ While waiting for a response he slipped on the simple black dress he’d brought with him along with his heeled black booties.

It didn’t take long before his phone was buzzing and he unlocked it to see three new messages.

Zack: ‘unf! Why you gotta send me pretty pictures when I’m not there with you?’

Tifa: ‘shiva you’re so pretty Cloud ❤’

Aerith: ‘Gorgeous as always'

Cloud grinned, sending them a full body shot of himself before putting his phone in his handbag and putting on the accessories Aqua had let him borrow, some gold bangle bracelets and a black lace choker. He replaced his wolf earring with a dangly black feather then looked towards Aqua. “Ready?”

Aqua straightened the silver belt she was wearing around the waist of her deep blue high low dress, “Yep, let’s get going.”

“I can’t believe you convinced me to do this Luna.” Prompto fidgeted a little as he sat on the couch waiting for Cloud and Aqua to show up.

Luna gave him a withering look as she clasped on the moon necklace she always wore, “Please, you’re doing this for your cousin, not me. I’ve been asking you for how long to let me put a dress on you? And you only just now let me when your cousin comes to visit.”

Prompto looked down sheepishly, playing with the hem of the white dress Luna had let him borrow. “It’s always been something he likes doing and I’ve never tried it out with him and I just thought he needed something to cheer him up. Doing something he likes will help him feel better.”

Luna looked over at him, trying to contain a smile, “You look uncomfortable.”

Prompto shrugged, “I just don’t know how he can do this so confidently. I feel like I’m so not pretty enough to pull this off.”

There was a knock on the apartment door and Prompto quickly stood up, wobbling to the door in the strappy heels he had borrowed from Cloud. Prompto opened the door and saw Aqua and his cousin beaming at him. “Prompto? You got dressed up!” Cloud bounced excitedly, walking past him into the apartment.

Prompto blushed a little at the appraising look he received from Aqua before she brushed past him, “Well, Luna helped me. She did most of the work actually.”

Cloud smiled, “you look great.”

Prompto grinned, going to step towards him but almost falling over because of the heels. “Dammit! How do you wear these things?”

The three others in the room shrugged before speaking in unison, “practice.”

Cloud grinned at the two women before taking Prompto’s hands in his, “C'mon, let’s take a few laps around the room for you to get used to them.”

After Prompto was confident enough that he wouldn’t fall and break his face or his ankle, they headed out to a local dance club, though Prompto made sure to stay close to one of the other three the whole way there so they could catch him if he fell.

“So where are the other guys?” Cloud shouted to be heard over the thumping bass of the dance music. He sipped his drink, waving his hand at his face to try and cool down. He could feel his hair starting to bounce back to it’s wild style with how much he was sweating.

Prompto gulped down some of the bottle of water he’d asked for, “I don’t really know. They could be here for all I know. It is Friday night. Though more likely they went to the bar or something.”

Cloud hummed in acknowledgment as he watched the girls come up to their table, laughing and gasping for air, “You guys finally taking a break?”

Luna nodded as Aqua went to the bar to grab them more drinks. “It’s so warm in here!”

Aqua returned, handing Luna a bottle of water, “that’s because you’ve been dancing.”

Luna and Aqua downed their water and then dragged Prompto back onto the dance floor with them. Cloud went up to the bar to get another drink. He smiled at the bartender as he got his attention, looking up at him through half lidded eyes, “Another rum and coke please.”

The bartender winked at him, “coming right up sweetheart.”

Cloud leaned against the bar while he waited for his drink, bouncing and humming along to the song playing. He turned as he heard a familiar voice, “Um, excuse me miss?” he turned, eyes widening as he saw Noctis awkwardly standing there. Cloud schooled his face back to a neutral expression as Noctis continued talking, “Uh, so, my friend over there,” Noct pointed to the other end of the bar and Cloud saw Gladiolus and Ignis standing there, Ignis watching the dance floor and Gladio watching the exchange between them, “He thinks you’re pretty and would like to talk to you I guess.” Cloud raised an eyebrow over at Gladio, getting a wink and a grin in return.

Cloud chuckled, “Does Gladio often hit on guys?”

Noctis' blue eyes went wide, “Cloud? Is that you?”

Cloud nodded as Noctis looked him up and down, cheeks turning red. “Just a little hobby of mine. Prompto is over there.” Noctis looked over, jaw dropping as he saw Prompto in Luna's dress. “Anyway, you want me to play along with the big guy?”

Noct looked to Gladio, chuckling softly, “We really shouldn’t, but I have to see that.” Cloud grinned, finishing off his drink and walking towards Gladio, his hips sashaying.

Gladio straightened up, nudging Ignis as they approached. Ignis rolled his eyes, turning to look, his eyes widening when he saw Cloud, smirk pulling at his lips. “Hey big boy,” Cloud pitched his voice a little, caressing Gladio's left bicep, “you wanna dance?”

Gladio nodded and Cloud took his hands, leading him to the dance floor. He caught Prompto’s eye as he walked past, winking as his cousin looked on in shock.

They found a spot on the edges and started moving to the music. “So where are you from?” he heard Gladio shout over the music.

“I live in Insomnia. I’m here visiting family.”

Gladio grinned, “I’m from Insomnia too. What do you do for a living?”

“I’m a SOLDIER,” Cloud had gone back to using his normal voice but Gladio didn’t seem to notice, still dancing close to the blond. “I’m visiting my cousin Prompto.”

Gladio looked down at him, brow furrowed, “You’re related to Prompto?”

Cloud nodded with a smile, “yep, his cousin. And a SOLDIER.”

“Oh Astrals…” Gladio had stopped dancing and was staring down at Cloud in bewilderment. “CLOUD?”

They both turned to the sound of laughter and saw Noctis, Ignis, Prompto, Luna, and Aqua all sat at a table near the edge of the dance floor, smiles on their faces. Gladio stormed off the dance floor going up to Noctis and putting him in a headlock. “You knew didn’t you? You two set me up to embarrass me.”

Noctis pushed at his arm, “Get off me you big lug, you’re all sweaty!”

Cloud chuckled, walking to the table, “It’s ok Gladdy, you’re not the first guy to mistake me for a girl.”

Gladio released Noctis finally, shaking his head at the rest of the table, “you all knew too?” His eyes landed on Prompto and he shook his head, “Now I wish I’d seen Prompto first, he never could have fooled me.”

“Hey!”

Ignis put his arm around Prompto with a smile, “I think you’re beautiful, love.”

Gladio grumbled as he sat down, “Damn pretty boys.”

Cloud chuckled, sitting at the table, “What can I say, it’s in my blood.”

Fandom and Fandom Inspired

Hi! Welcome to my humble partner search. Before going into detail I'll explain "my rules", I know it's a boring part but it helps us both to know if we are compatible.

- Doubling is required. I like to play both Canon and OC (CanonxOC trash here) and I intend to keep doing it. Do you want to play a canon for me? Please tell me you have a canon you want me to play against your OC. I get easily bored when I don't get to play more than one main character, and I like to build different kind of relationships (friendships, rivalries...) on my RPs, so I expect you to like playing multiple characters (it can be as I said like having two mains and then the others being like NPCs to build the scenes). And I prefer to double with a male canon character usuallt. Why? I don't know to be honest but that is how it works for me. Note: There may be exceptions to this rule, like fandoms where I prefer OcxOC pairings (usually fandom inspired), but the doubling rule still applies and I'd like to play a female and a male OC -- again there may be some exceptions, if there are you'll see it on the fandom list. In the end, playing multiple characters is my jam.

- About OCs.... I used to accept any kind of OC but I've gotten tired of Mary Sues and all angst kind of characters. I know, it doesn't mean your OC is bad, but bear with me, I've had enough with those characters. This doesn't mean that your character can't have a sad story or that they need to have a friendly personality. The problem is when the only thing they do is a constant monologue about their tragic past and they never move the story forward. It gets boring. I want to be hyped about your OC! Choose songs, pinterest boards...

-MxF is what I'm looking for in mains right now (playing both male - most of the time the canon - and female). I don't have anything against MxM, FxF, and I may have them as side pairings too, so if you're against the LGTB+ community I'm not your partner either. Apparently this can be misunderstood so I'll make it more clear. My females and males are only available for MxF pairings. The only exceptions will be mentioned in the fandoms part of this post.

- Let's both contribute to the story. Maybe one has more ideas one day, or one suffers writers block, but lets work together yeah? I also prefer if we use both 3rd person, it can be present or past, as you prefer, but 1st is a bit difficult to me.

- Don't feel forced to answer everyday. I can't stress this enough. This a hobby, not a job. Even if I answer at the speed of light I'm not expecting that from you. There will be times that I won't be able to answer for days, life comes first. And I like OOC, share all your memes, silly headcanons, and feel free to chat with me even if you haven't replied to the RP. I've seen some people hiding that they are online to not be pressured about their RPs. I won't pressure you.

- Ghost friendly. We've done that before, it's ok, maybe because we didn't want conflict or because we forgot about the other person.

I think that those are the basic rules. I have triggerings and so but I think I prefer to talk about those matters with someone already interesting in roleplaying.

Now, the fandoms (AU/ Aged up friendly). I'll include what canons I'm interested in (usually a list, so don't worry if we have one or two in common) and then those who I feel [more confident playing as] (your canon isn't there? Talk with me, I may want to give it a try if you're patient with me).

Note for FANDOM INSPIRED: It means that I'm interested in the universe and concepts of the canon story, but also means that I lack enough knowledge to play canon characters and I'm open to more original approaches in terms of story. That being said I'll will probably like to keep some things loyal to the canon, such as the camp of demigods on the Percy Jackson one, or the Parasite's concept + Hybrid Parasites on the DITF one.

- PERCY JACKSON [Inspired](This nerd right here loves the concept but hasn't read the books or watched the movies. I used to have a roleplay based on it and I loved it) - OCxOC

- THE WORLD ENDS WITH YOU (an old fandom of mine that got a remake for the switch) - Beat [Neku, I'll need to play it again to remember the others]

DARLING IN THE FRANXX [Inspired] Once again my darlings I've watched bits of every episode, I know I think enough to follow the canon setting but not enough to play canons. So here we are with that juicy OCxOC. I have some request here though, and I feel like a jerk because of it? But I'm more interested in specific type of OCxOC pairing on my side, "Human! Fem! OC x Hybrid! Male! OC" with me playing the human. But, wait for it, I can give you the same pairing if you want it since I double, or also stay on the PilotxPilot, Human! Male! OC x Hybrid! Fem! OC for your side (playing either male or female).

- Shazam! [Movie universe, got little to no knowledge about the comics] - Billy Batson, Freddy Freeman. - [Billy Batson, Freddy Freeman] As you can see I don't have a real preference here because I find the two characters both fun to roleplay against and roleplay as. Give me the awkward teen setting or the aged up version, I don't care, I just think that this roleplay could get hilarious with those two nerds.

SOUL EATER(Read the manga like 5 times, watched the anime, don't talk to me about Soul Eater Not, I tried but it's not my thing). In this one I'm open to play two females if you want two MxF or FxF for your side. Remember that I'm always going to ask for MxF for my side (me playing female). -OcxOc (I have a female weapon and a male/female that can be a weapon or a Meister depending on your OC. Note: that my second OC is flexible in terms of Weapon/Meister and gender doesn't mean that it is rushed. All of my Ocs are basically my children)

Ah! Feel free to ask for fandoms that I don't have listed here, but I may not know them. You can also ask for originals (taking into account what kind of genres I'm craving) but be aware that I'm more of a fandom roleplayer because I've had also weird/bad experiences with originals.

Ten Questions Tag

Thank you to the wonderful @doctorderange for tagging me. These are some interesting questions! 1.) What is your favorite book character? Now, the answer to this would change every time I read some more books! I love to get into every story, and I pretty much have a couple of favourites for every book, so picking one grand winner would be hard. I can’t pick just one! To not wuss outof answering the question entirely, Brienne and Arya were my favourite characters in ASOIAF. 2.) are you scared of occult-like practices such as tarot readings or ouija boards or *invoking the spirit muaha* (i just watched ahs so this q is a must) I have nothing against Tarot readings or Wicca or other religions traditionally conidered occult. Great for them, I love how positive the witchy community appears to be. Tarot reading seems really interesting actually! It’s really interesting to see how many different ways there are of interpreting the world. Where I come from, divining from coffee grounds and dreams are a real thing, though I only know a tiny amount of either. But I’ve been taught that you do not mess with things beyond this world. Eastern Europeans are extremely superstitious, and literally have rules for everything. Now, I have two science degrees. I’m a proponent of rational fact and evidence. That’s my job, my way of life, and my philosophy. So I don’t want to be superstitious, and whenever a relative foists yet another thing that you just do not do on me, I can’t help but despair a little. But the thing is, I can see a rational basis for quite a few superstitions, even if the old wives’ tales they tell to get you to do something vaguely sensible are a bit much. But I can’t entirely throw superstition out, not when you don’t entirely know everything about the world. You don’t mess with the dead, you don’t mess with the little folk or any other supernatural being, and you basically stay in your lane and respect nature and beyond. Much as it frustrates me to make a decsion based on ‘great grandma always said never do this’, I have to admit there’s really no rational reason to go poking your nose into supernatural business that doesn’t concern you, either. So I’d stay away just in case. Because I don’t believe in unnecessary risks, and it’d stress me out more to go against generations-worth of warnings than it would to go on living my life. 3.)What are your opinions on clowns? I don’t think I’ve ever met one. I’m not sure I really want to, either, but I guess they make some people laugh? They are free to exist. 4.)have you ever had a paranormal experience? Hmm... I’ve never seen a ghost, though that’s not the only unusual thing that can happen. The weirdest experience I’d like to share was just after I got into med school and got my degree results. That night, I had this really vivid dream that I was going to tell my paternal grandmother something really urgent. It was so urgent that I rushed into her bedroom to wake her up and tell her. She turned around, smiled, and that was where the dream ended My gran had passed away maybe 8 years before then. When I woke up, overcome with what I can only describe as the most massive wave of sadness I have ever experienced in my life. I’ve never felt anything as intense in my life, and I don’t know if I can even describe it. I’d mourned the loss of multiple grandparents at that point, and cried over all sorts of things, but this was a whole other scale of magnitude. I was crashing in the same room as my sister that night, and she woke up to find me curled up on the chair, sobbing inconsolably whilst reassuing her that I was quite OK. I think I nearly gave her a heart attack. My gran lived on the other side of Europe, and it’s hard when your grandchildren grow up so far away. Well before I’d decided what I wanted to do, my gran used to say ‘you’ll be my little doctor’, but she never got a chance to see that I did choose medicine, and that I did make it after all. I know she would have been immensely proud. I know that deep down inside, her not being there to share it with us probably weighed on me until it came out in this dream. I can see why my subcionscious did what it did. But if there’s an afterlife, I like to think that’s when she found out. 5.)what is your favorite flower? Gladioli, because apparently that’s what everyone gave to my mum when I was born, so my family kind of associate them with me. Lilacs, because they smell divine. Snowdrops and daffodils, because they symbolise spring. But really, I love all flowers. 6.) If you werent stuyding what your studying now, what would you be doing, career-wise? If I didn’t get into medicine, I probably wouldn’t have been able to get into veterinary medicine, which was also a big passion of mine. When I was applying to medicine for the final time, I had already decided my path if I didnt get in; I would probably have done a Master’s or PhD, and ultimately either gone into hospital lab biomedicine, academia, or teaching. In which case I would likely have been a science teacher. Almost certainly biology, because in the UK teachers tend to have to teach subjects they’ve done at degree level (or to a higher standard than they are teaching). I obviously love art, too, but I didn’t ever feel able to devote my career to it personally. So you might very easily have been reading a comic about lab work or teaching! 7.)have you ever farted in public? Well, not in a crowded bar or stadium or something like that. 8.) Flippity Flop Dew Drop. Rhyme something with this? “Dancing makes my knees pop.” Clearly geriatrics is rubbing off on me... 9.) What is your favorite gemstone? If I had to pick one, it’d be Opal. Something like ruby would be a close second, because red is my favourite colour. But opals have an iridescent quality that I really love. I don’t have any, though perhaps one day I’ll afford one. I’ll tell you a secret; if a potential fiance wanted to impress me, they should forget about diamond rings altogether ;). 10.)What is one cool hobby you would like to become a master of? I’d like to be better at drawing, but that’s something I already do and am reasonable at, but I could always improve. Hmm if we’re talking about something new that I’d like to do... I’d love to learn to crochet, or weave on a loom. Or archery. My 10 questions: 1) If you could ban one thing from the world, What do you choose? 2) If you could bring one thing into existence which doesn’t exist (or no longer exists).
