Out of all the things to get really into after the dsmp I didn't think my own content would be it

Request: Y/N is a part of SBI but they aren’t treated that great by the fandom or really the rest of the group. Its not like SBI MEANS to disregard the ‘hate’ towards Y/N like its nothing but they tend to dismiss or just ignore it, of course, they are still really close and care about Y/N, it still just hurts a little that they ignore it. But where the creators don’t realise they’re neglecting their friends emotions, the fans? They are fully aware they constantly joke about Y/N being the worst member of SBI. They are fully aware they also always ‘joke’ about forgetting Y/N exists. They are fully aware that despite Y/N being in as many if not more ‘SBI’ streams or videos than the other creators, they act as if they’re not actually a part of SBI. They are fully aware many of them aren’t joking when they say Y/N is not a member of SBI, or when they say they wish Y/N would stop showing up to streams. They are fully aware that the main ‘joke’ people think of when they think SBI is something along the lines of; “Whos Y/N?” or “Y/N is SO the middle child of the SBI, we all forget them!” or “Y/N? Ohhh you mean the one that’s annoying but its not funny!” .. When the SBI are streaming bedwars 2v2v2’s with a random viewer each game and that viewer happens to end up on Y/N’s team (and be an asshole) they, of course, decide to complain that out of every member they could be teamed with, they got the worst member of SBI! (Even though Y/N and techno practice pvp together regularly and the only person in SBI Y/N can’t kill is techno) While Y/N does what they always do and laughs it off with a SICK comeback (despite how much it hurts when they realise they expected that kind of reaction to being teamed with them), the rest of the SBI seems to snap as though that was their final straw (starting with tommy yelling ‘THATS BULLSHIT’ or smth) and all collectively go on a rant about how shitty most(?) fans treat Y/N, to Y/N’s surprise most of all of the fives chats are agreeing..? Y/N starts to realise maybe they aren’t as hated as they thought.. and maybe, just maybe, they are a lot more loved then they realised.

You aren’t unfamiliar with the term unwanted. If anything, you’ve burrowed yourself a home in the word, splitting it in two. Accepted yourself for what you are.

Quite honestly, if there was a record for ‘most hated SBI member’ it’d go to you. Actually, it wouldn’t, considering how most people don’t even see you as a member of SBI. The forgettable middle child, adrift alone.

There wasn’t much you could do except accept it.

Bothering the others with it was unfathomable. Besides, they’ve surely seen some hint of it. They aren’t quite that blind, even if Wilbur and Techno do wear glasses. And, seeing as how they haven’t said a word… maybe it’s best if you didn’t nag about it.

It’s not that you’re partial to the so-called ‘suffering in silence,’ because you really aren’t. But you’re uniquely acquainted with brushing things off, pretending that your friends’ continued silence doesn’t sting and that being excluded from the group isn’t heart-wrenching. In the end, who really cares what strangers online think?

You can ignore the messages in your inboxes. The emails to your professional email asking if you’re really a part of SBI. All the replies to all your posts. Every fucking comment on every video you’re in.

Sometimes, it piles around you so high that you can’t see past it. Words strung together to form sentences that rephrase ‘Who even are you’ a thousand times. Or the more creative, ‘How do you manage to be unfunny AND annoying’ mixed with a side of scorn. It’s worse when it trends on Twitter after a stream, but who are you to complain?

After all, you’re just lucky to be following SBI around according to Twitter. Blessed to be in their fucking presence.

For the most part, you just hire more mods. And they’re pretty strict with bans, so your chat tends to err on the positive side. Everyone else’s? Well, let’s just say there’s a reason you don’t have their chats open.

Today is no exception.

Bedwars with viewers, everyone being randomly set into 2v2v2. Tommy’s idea, although he’s lost every round that Techno wasn’t on his team. That was mostly due to you sneak attacking him while he targeted Techno, but still.

“POTATOMAN!” Tommy shouts, practically bursting your eardrums. “YOU ARE THE CHOSEN ONE!”

“Christ, mate.” Phil laughs.

“…my ears…” Techno mourns quietly, making both you and Wilbur laugh.

“We’re getting in! We’re getting in!” Tommy says excitedly, and everyone spawns into their teams.

Your heart sinks when you realize you’re with the viewer on white team. Their character, a potato in a suit, stares at you as you walk backward to collect iron and gold from the generator.

You’ve been lucky up until this far, always getting placed with one of the others. Logically, you knew you’d eventually be placed with the random, but part of you still hoped. Still dared to relax into the game.

Potatoman’s character stands there for a few minutes, and you buy wool with your iron.

“Funnel me the gold, Tommy.” Techno says calmly.

“No! Fuck off! This is my gold!”

“You’re just going to walk off the edge with it!”

“No I won’t! When have I ever?!”

“Last game.” Wilbur inputs.

“Wha— I was pushed! That’s different!”

A message pops up in game chat, and your eyes flick to it for a moment, too busy with building a bed defense. When you realize it isn’t Tommy’s death message (it would’ve been really funny, let’s be honest), you do a double take to read it.

<Potatoman> My luck omg

Your eyebrows raise. For a split second, you dare to hope that the viewer is a fan of yours. That they want to be on a team with you. Hope is a dangerous thing; it just makes things worse when it dies.

<Potatoman> Stuck with the worst member &lt;Potatoman> Not even a member fr lmaooo

Ah. And there it is.

Seeing the messages doesn't hurt; it's the fact that you knew to expect it right from the start.

That's not to say you're even the worst member, because in PvP you're a God. Hell, you and Techno train it all the time for fun! Even Tommy cheers when he gets teamed with you in PvP games like this. Being teamed with you for Bedwars was a pretty good thing, in theory.

Always in theory.

Because somehow, someway, you're never liked enough. Never enough for the viewers in general, even. Too annoying, too loud, too imperfect, too showy, too quiet, too anything. And you know to expect that feedback rather than to expect any semblance of compliments.

"At least the so-called 'worst member' didn't walk off the edge, unlike someone on my team." You quip, targeting your words at the viewer.

"Heh?" Techno asks.

"Oh, uh, nothing-"

"Look in chat." Wilbur interrupts.

There's a pause, then:

"THAT'S BULLSHIT!" Tommy screams into his mic. "WHAT THE HELL?!"

"I'm agreeing with the kid here." Techno sighs.

"Actually, we really should talk about how the fans have been online. It's not even a recent thing." Phil says, his calm a stark contrast to Tommy.

"I've seen it a lot too. Let's be clear; everyone here is part of the Sleepy Bois. I made it, I make the rules." Wilbur declares.

"You did not make it!" Tommy protests, but Wilbur doesn't stop for him.

"To make it clear, we won't tolerate any hate of anyone in this group, especially not to the extent that we've been seeing recently."

Your eyes glance over at your chat, already stunned, only to have your jaw slacken when you see that your chat is spamming hearts and "YESYESYES."

"Guys, you don't have to... do this." You try.

"I'm pretty sure we do." Techno deadpans, and you can practically imagine the optifine zoom on his character's face he's probably doing/

"The fans treat you like shit, and we're all tired of it." Wilbur agrees. "It's stupid."

"They're all internet assholes." Tommy chimes in, this time at a reasonable volume.

"So from here on out, anyone who says mean shit to you gets banned. From all of our chats." Your eyes go wide at Phil's words, and you quickly pull up his and Tommy's streams to see what their chats are saying.

But... that can't be right. The outpouring of agreement can't be right. The fans all hate you, you know this. There's no way they're agreeing with Phil, Tommy, Techno, and Wil.

So you open Wilbur's chat, then pull up a YouTube tab for Techno's stream too.

Agreement floods every chat, and for just a moment you can't breathe. You were the supposed forgotten middle child, the one nobody cares to stand up for. But that was wrong, wasn't it?

You are part of the Sleepy Bois, and you're just as deserving as everyone else. Of the fans, of the support, of being able to open chat and not see overwhelming hate.

Of being loved.

Dsmp is so AAGGHH. I love it so much, its introduced me to some of the people I care about most and it has made me feel ways no other fandom has made me feel. I love the plotholes. I love the lack of consistency. I love how everyone has a different view on how the story played out. I love how if you asked someone what happened during a certain era their answer will be different from the next. I love the art. I love the animatics. I love the characters. I love the fanfiction. I love the story. I love the aus. I love how homemade it feels. I love how it feels like people wanted to make a cool thing so they made a cool thing. I love how the fandom took small bits of the ccs personality, added it to their character and ran with it. I love how each character had totally different motivations from any other character. I love how some things didnt make sense. I love how somethings never got answered. I love the ending. I love how somethings didnt end. I love unserious it was at times. I love how serious it was at times. I love the fans. I love the theories. I love the edits. I love the gacha reaction videos (ifykyk). I love Henry. I love c!tommy. I love exile arc. I love c!niki. I love the petwar. I love the lines, improvised or not. I love "If you wanna be a hero tommy? then die like one." I love c!SBI. I love c!Bee duo. I love c!disc duo. I love exile arc. I love pogtopia. Its become what I return to when Im sad or happy. Its the only fandom I really read fics for. Its the only show/thing Ive cared about to this extent. Its the only show where Ive actually cared about a character. Its how I found my love of watching twitch streamers. It got me back into playing minecraft. It got me into writing. It makes me want to improve on my art. DSMP is my comfort fandom, my main fandom, everything and anything all at once. I love watching compilations of the characters. I love all the cosplays. I love how ive gotten into so many hobbies because of it. I owe my personality to C!tommy and cc!tommy and dsmp as a whole. I owe my internet presence to dsmp. It has such a special place in my heart. I love c!tommy. I love how he cares for animals. I love how hes mean and aggrressive and rude. I love how hes hurt adn traumatised and healing. I love the relationships between the characters. I love how c!tommy cares and he doesnt. I love how the discs mean so much to him. I love how his decisions are drived by emotions. I love him having so many attachments. I love how other people will think my view of him is wrong/different to theirs. I love how dsmp allowed me to experiment with who I am (personality wise). I love how dsmp entered me to a part of the internet I would never have seen before. I love how I feel nostalgic looking at the fanart or fansongs. I love. It all. I know this was really rambl-y but ive just been thinking about it and I have so many feelings. My concluding statement is: DSMP has shpaed me into who I am and no one can take it away from me. It will always have a special place in my heart.

I haven't said too much on the QSMP situation so I am going to try to at least share my thoughts, as of right now.

First of all : thank you to everyone in this project who did their best through adversity and a corrupt management, you all deserve the world.

To the eggs & capys & penguins & every other admin I will remember the characters you gave us for the rest of my life. Thank you, this past year has been one of my best creativity-wise and I have written nearly as much for this fandom as I did DSMP. You taught me a lot about character writing and found families in times of chaos, I will always think of you fondly.

Now, I want to discuss a few of the things I am disappointed with.

Starting off with how the egg arc ended.

Stories, to have full meaning and impact to me, leave the endings at a point where you want what's best for the characters. You want a chance to see the character development bloom [Hideduo mainly] and having it be so abrupt left us all reeling. It was so awfully familiar as someone who came from DSMP, it left a bitter taste in my mouth.

I do not blame the admins or ccs one bit here.

It's more...I wish there had been at least one last hurrah. Something Avengers level where we watched them all team up, clear out the Federation and maybe the Watcher too, and leave peacefully. Something that gave them all that one last interaction, a reminder of how through trials and trouble anyone on that island would have given their life for any child, their own or otherwise.

Every single person who woke up on that island went through development and due to miscommunication and watching the server slowly perish for months, it feels horrific to watch them all die one by one without being able to see the fruits of their labour. I am begging for fan made content to fill the hole in my heart left by that ending.

It hurts so much because I loved them all so deeply.

I mained Death Family content because I came into this fandom as a crow and adored how their little unit came to be. A son and a daughter with their damaged father who always did their best for one another. Sure, only one *maybe* was good at communication but they all tried. The effort was there. And the old crow hermit on the wall slowly became one of the most trusted members of the island due to the dedication for his family and friends.

Then I slowly became interested in FitMC's content after watching him hang out with Phil for months, and became a huevito instantly. The relationship he created in /rp with Pac was the first time in a long time I allowed myself to indulge in romance-based content [coming from a former SBI main, that should make sense]. I still remember the panic seeing the shipping art covering my timelines and checking boundaries before I realised this was something they both encouraged.

Fit and Pac came to represent a lot in my heart ; two damaged people moving at the pace both decided in order to form the family neither of them ever had. An ex prisoner and a veteran of toxic wastelands found home in one another's lives, enough they allowed their precious children to become bonded with their significant other.

They never said I love you, instead showed it through acts of service and protecting each other without question. They may not have kissed but they were always beside each other within the same space, only a short step away in case either needed support.

I will miss you forever, your characters were fantastic. I hope there are many more collabs in the future, your dynamic means a ton to a lot of people now.

Same goes to many more characters on that island I don't have the energy to do full write ups on but please know, you occasionally show up in my thoughts and another wave of mourning what I love passes over me. Death and Rosa Family were the ones I fixated on, nearly instantly, and I will create using them for a long time. I want to write their characters in a way that satisfies me, I still have to match my level of DSMP writing and beyond after all.

I want to also send appreciation to the streamers I found because of QSMP, it did what was intended and broke language barriers in ways I will forever be grateful to the translations mods that are becoming more common so I can still watch their content.

Cellbit, Baghera, Etoiles, PacTW, Mike, Roier, Luzu, you all are so cool! I enjoy your content and can't wait to watch more in the future.

Philza, Tubbo, Foolish, Charlie Slimecicle, Jaiden, Badboyhalo, FitMC, some of you I knew before and some I got to know better now, I adore you all.

All I hope for at this point is any future project takes what needs to be learned from watching this server slowly implode and please treat your employees right. Especially in creative ventures, we need the hope there can be confidence people are being treated right behind the scenes.

And to any of the QSMP CC's, I beg there are gaming collaborations and meetups in the future. You all have fantastic chemistry and I hope the families that were formed can continue to support each other.

To the admins. Thank you. I could say it a thousand times over and it would never be enough. You endured literal purgatory because you loved the plots and people so much, you deserve only the best in your future.

I intend to indulge in the egg content for the forseeable future, even if at this point I will just be VOD watching but there are still a few POV's I have wanted to watch in full and now seems like the best time. I do have several WIP I wish to finish and they make perfect inserts if I ever need characters for any new plots I imagine in the future.

Saudade QSMP Egg Arc 2023-2024. You taught me a lot within the short period of a year, you united many communities and heres to hoping we stick together long into the future.

I am sorry for the long post, I needed to spill my thoughts somewhere and tumblr's blogging format is ideal.

Let’s keep creating content surrounding the eggs and families we now miss. I understand if many move on but to me, this interest is one I will remember forever and happily talk about to anyone willing to hear me out. Just like Techno, they live on through me as long as I remember them.

Idk, I'm not in the dsmp fandom very much anymore, always been too much drama for me, but still, sbi, found family, super villain fics always, they hold a dear place in my heart. The idea that maybe, I can have done these bad things,but there will still be multiple people who want me there, who love me, and there doesnt have to be a rhyme or reason to it

Maybe I just have childhood trauma, and a bad relationship with my parents, who knows

I'll start with Phil again, and West by sleeping at last, and this time it's more c!Phil than h!Phil

The first verse also feels very reminiscent of before he joined the server, back when they would just send letters to each other. And god these verses

I've talked about cphil before, and I've talked about his grief before, and Wilbur Does Not Leave his mind, from November 16th till his revival he hasn't stopped thinking about it. He's thought about it so much that the dude, who's never usually vulnerable, even asks ranboo if what he did was right, one of the times he was emotionally vulnerable in character. I also think it's really neat that Techno built a home in the north and gave Phil a compass that points to it, it's a really neat coincidence. His character also feels very lost in a way? I made a playlist once where I ordered the songs to follow a story, but I left it unfinished because he felt unfinished, forever stuck in some sort of grief (sidenote I need to finish that playlist now that the finale happened) and I think the line about true north fading is pretty neat

So like the oh hellos post, Techno is East, and you can probably see for yourself why I picked it haha

"now I bear little resemblance to the king I once was" is definitely the line that feels very c!techno I think, and "the years wore on and changed my heart, the leading role for a smaller part"

There is the intentional change, with him trying to stay away from violence and retiring, albeit later on going back to violence. But there's also the unintentional part, the one that came more naturally when he found friends. I mean Phil has always been his friend, but now there's Niki and Ranboo, and I mean there was even a hint of a reconciliation with Tommy. Something about having started out trying to go at it alone, and in the end having surrounded yourself with people that care.

So for Wilbur, he gets South.

Wilbur is very associated with lies I think, as a wordsmith. He lies to others and he lies to himself, and I don't think all of it he didn't believe. But also both Phil and Wilbur having lines about losing true north? Oughh. What I really like though is the last few verses

Because these ones are gentler, these ones are kinder. And Wilbur ultimately does try in a way to heal, in the end.

Soo that leaves Tommy with North.

Which I think works really well! A line Tommy has repeated over and over again was that L'manburg was the people, not the government or the land. It was the community.

C!Tommy, I think, is hope. He is kindness, and second chances. Because with everything that's happened to him, he hasn't stopped being kind. He hasn't grown hard with the times, he's remained as open and as vulnerable as he was, even as he grows more scarred. He hasn't stopped caring for the people he loves, because if you stop letting yourself love, what will you have left

I am in need of long (don’t actually know what qualifies as long, 10k+ words?), complete (or not) dsmp (mainly sbi) or Life Series fanfic recommendations. I have read so many and I am trying to find more to soothe the brain itch.

A superhero au from Tommy’s pov where he’s just chillin with his healing powers and then he heals a villain and then gets sucked into it. He also gets attached to this Wilbur guy that visits the coffee shop he works at.

the world forgetting by the world forgot by bonesandthebees (bonesandcacti) — [21/21, 165k words] A superhero au from Tommy’s pov where he is the hero Dream’s sidekick and has terrible amnesia, forgetting the entirety of what happened the year before. The Syndicate, a band of villains, is looking for something that was stolen from them.

Hush Now (You Were Lost But Now You’re Found) by CorpseArt — [Incomplete, 56/?, 301k] A superhero AU where Tommy was Dream's sidekick and made it his entire person, and then Dream kicks him out of the Hero Corp. Tommy needs to figure out what the fuck is going on, bc there's no way Dream would just do that, even if he did protect the villain Siren. Their one rule is to not kill. Also he meets this funky man named Wilbur at a coffee shop and they become besties. (Pogtopia my absolute beloved.)

say you’re open by remrose — [9/9, 43k] A magic AU from Wilbur’s pov where he finds this kid unconscious on the floor if his shop after attending his mother’s funeral, obviously bearing the marks of intense chaos magic. I remember that the first thing that made me cry was p!wilbur having that fight at the table with p!phil (yep, daddy issues). It really gives us the first look on their relationship in the story, although it is batter at the end. it's only bc Tommy's death and they all have to step together as a family to bury him.

Yeah, it's just the saddest thing for me. i read Passerine when sadist anaunced their animatic, i did spoil tommy dying for myself so it was expected when i got to that part, but yeah it was a really sad and bittersweet fic.

That fic made me read more of them, and then i realized that i hated "bad father phil" fics, and just love my classic SBI angst, with happy ending fics, that have good and supportive father c!Phil in it. <3

I always have trouble putting special things for every SBI in a Fantasy Royalty AU. Like I have this base in where they are Royals that come together to rule, being everyone excellent in something.

Obviously, Wilbur is good with words and diplomatic issues. Meanwhile Techno is great with weapons and battles. The usual.

But then I have this difficulty with the Angel Duo. They always have this fight over magic because I can think of anything else. So we have a blonde blue-eyed grown ass man in a tug of war with a blonde blue-eyed child. Damn.

So, I figured out that Phil can be the mind, as in the master mind that makes the TwinsDuo work in perfect balance. Good in strategy and leadership.

Because, no, Phil, you can't be a symbol of freedom every time I make an Au. Get those wings clipped /j.

Then I thought, Okey, if Phil is great in magic Tommy is great in connecting magic. If Phil is the mind of the kingdom then Tommy is the spirit (yeah I took that form the father-son-holy spirit kill me)

So I have this Phil who is great at strategy and Tommy who can steal anyone's heart and the kingdom's people love him. He keeps the spirits high :D

Meanwhile I have this other Phil with great magic that can be used to make another whole dimension (he makes himself some wings) and little Tommy that was magic but is weak and works better in connection with others than alone.

Why not combine mind!Phil with Connection!Tommy? Because I'm dumb and I love some good angst and fluffy father teaching son magic scenes.

Also, why make things easy when I can stare at the void while I tear all my neurons trying to come up with the perfect balance between everyone? Now that's just silly.

There's a hunger like never before gnawing at Tommy's bones.

He's no stranger to going hungry, he spent most of his childhood being half starved and weak because of it. But even that doesn't compare to the hunger and the pain he feels now.

"Just rest," a gentle voice soothes, a cold hand carding through his hair. "You can eat soon."

Tommy whines pathetically, under the hunger pangs that make his stomach twist, there's an ache in his heart at the sound of the voice. Wilbur's voice, a slightly more coherent part of him, recognises.

He's supposed to trust Wilbur, right? They're friends – brothers almost. He remembers joking about that once, he thinks. It feels like it was a lifetime ago.

But as awareness slowly creeps back into his mind, Tommy remembers more. He had trusted not just Wilbur, but his whole family – Techno and Phil, where are they?

Tommy whines again, some new and unfamiliar part of his mind crying about the loss of… something. The ache in his heart worsens.

His family. Tommy trusted them – had trusted them. He trusted them with so much. With his fears and his vulnerabilities, with his physical wellbeing, with his fucking heart.

Fuck, he even trusted them with Henry. The stupid ratty cow plush that was his only memory of his biological family. And what did he get in return? Backstabbed – no, neckstabbed by Phil the moment he could admit he loved them.

"Wil," Tommy whines. "Wil what did you do t' me?"

"Don't worry about it, moonlight," Wilbur dismisses quickly. "You love us, right?"

Tommy whines again, confused and uncertain. Because he does. He loves them so much it hurts him sometimes but… but love shouldn't hurt like this, should it?

"You fuckin' turned me," Tommy whispers brokenly, the start of tears pooling in his eyes. "I told you I'd never want this."

The hand in his hair tightens painfully, and Tommy whines once more, moving his head to try and shake Wilbur off.

"Sorry, moonlight," the hand retracts completely and Tommy has to bite back a whimper. "Just… don't say things like that, alright?"

Tommy doesn't offer a response, he hardly feels smart enough to argue with Wilbur on a good day, but now, with his head stuffed full of cotton and the hunger overtaking his every thought, it feels almost impossible.

"I'm hungry," Tommy says after a long moment. "Do you think Phil'll make me pancakes again?"

"I don't think so, moonlight," Wilbur says gently.

Tommy frowns. "What's up with you callin' me that?" He mumbles. "Though' I was your sunshine, or whatever."

"You were – you still are," Wilburs hand returns to his hair, sharp nails scratching at his scalp softly. "But you're like us now. Still yourself of course, just. Changed. Moonlight is only a darker reflection of the sun, after all, and now you're ours. I thought it was fitting."

Tommy hums a non answer. Wilbur has always been poetic about shit like that, but Tommy feels too distant to really understand the words properly. It's nice to hear him talk though, his voice has always been calming.

Tommy breathes deep, content to listen as Wilbur continues rambling on. He can't sleep, as much as he wants to, the hunger is constant. But he’s fine, for now, he's certainly lived through worse.

Like being bitten and turned by a vampire.

The thought comes unbidden and Tommy frowns to himself, but the sound of a door opening steals his attention quickly enough that he doesn't have to think too deeply yet.

He feels the presence of two people enter the nest, an unfamiliar bond between them that feels like family. And with them, the sweetest smell reaches Tommys nose.

He sits up instantly, his hunger growing with a vengeance at the smell. Phil and Techno stand in the doorway, wide smiles on their faces and a fondness in their eyes Tommy has never seen before.

“Hey mate,” Phil greets him with a soft voice and Tommy makes an odd noise in return, something eerily close to a bird call. “Wow, you're deep in your instincts, huh? Makes this next part easier I guess.”

Both Wilbur and Techno chuckle at that and Tommy whines lowly. The sweet smell is only getting stronger, and Tommy is just so hungry. Whatever his sire is hiding, Tommy needs to have it – to sink his teeth into it and–

“Come here, Toms, I’ve got your food right here.”

Tommy doesnt waste a moment, scrambling out of Wilburs arms and off the bed, rushing headfirst into Phil, an unpracticed rumbling purr spilling from his lips.

That's… that's weird, right? Tommy blinks, awareness seeping back in for a moment. He shouldn't– something is wrong.

“Shh,” Phil hushes. “It’s okay, I'm here, just focus on me. You want to eat, don't you?”

A haze he hadn't noticed before falls over Tommys mind. It feels safe, warm. Phil purrs at him and somehow he knows it means his sire is content. Tommy lets himself sink into the haze.

“Good,” Phil praises. “Techno, if you would?”

Tommy blinks, and suddenly something is at his lips and the sweet smell becomes overwhelming.

He bites down on the thing in front of him instinctively, and distantly he hears Techno hiss in pain off to the side. Tommy hardly cares though, there's something thick and rich on his tongue, almost as sweet as the smell still in the air but almost tainted somehow.

Tommy feels himself being moved and gently the finger – Technos finger, he realises – is pried from his mouth. Before he can even whine in complaint, there's something else pushed in front of him. It's the source of the sweet smell, Tommys stomach cramps and he bites down without another thought.

The taste on his tongue is heavenly, as thick and rich as before, but it's not spoiled this time. It tastes fresh and it feels hot as it spills down his throat and warms his stomach. Tommy drinks and drinks and drinks until he is full, his hunger finally sated.

He pulls back, the haze over his mind is gone and he blinks the blurriness from his eyes–

To find a body cradled in his lap.

Tommy screams and scrambles backwards, staring wide eyed at the pale and bloodied person in front of him.

They're not moving, not breathing– they're– 

Tommy brings a hand up to his lips. They're wet and sticky to the touch and as Tommy looks at his fingertips, he sees a deep red blood staining them.

Oh god.

His stomach lurches, his breath quickens.

Oh fucking god. There’s no way– he wouldn't have–

Tommy gags, rolling onto his side as he focuses on the sick feeling. There's still blood in his mouth and Tommy's breath hitches with the force of his sudden sobs.

He's choking. He can't breathe, he can't remember how to anymore.

His guts twist.

Oh god.

“Hey, it's alright, I'm right here, look at me.”

That's Techno. That's Technoblade talking to him in his deep rumbling voice. Warm hands grab him, but it's okay. It's okay, it's just Technoblade, right? Technoblade would never hurt him, he promised. 

“Just breathe,” Techno soothes. “You're gonna be okay, I promise.”

Tommy settles at that. Techno… Techno would never break a promise.

He promised to protect Tommy, and he had. He promised to love Tommy, and despite everything he does.

They all promised not to turn him.

But… but if Techno promises everything will be okay.

Tommy retches again. There's still blood in his mouth, staining every inch of him. He's scared, he's so, so tired.

The haze creeps over his mind, and Tommy willingly sinks into it.

His coven will keep him safe. They love him, afterall. Even if they hurt him.
