grover and percy are the platonic soulmates. in the most literal sense possible. i mean, literally nobody in the world, including their respective girlfriends, will ever know grover and percy as well as they know each other. and not just because of their empathy link.

grover was the person who was there for percy the most. he helped percy transition from the mortal world into the greek one. he supported percy in tlt when sally was thought to be dead. grover was percy’s first friend. ever. it’s not fair how people keep forgetting that. grover saved percy’s life.

percy literally did NOT hesitate to save grover when he was kidnapped by polyphemus. percy tried his hardest to be there for grover while grover fulfilled his dreams of finding pan. percy and grover travelled through most of the labyrinth together. grover is the foundation of percy’s best traits. percy saved grover’s life.

there is no other friendship in any of riordan’s books that can compare to grover and percy’s. they’re platonic soulmates. there’s no one like them.

I kind of rushed this comic but I feel like teruhashi's feelings should be considered more. I feel like she'd kind of burst out crying if she found out saiki knew all of her struggles and still chose to stay close to her. I feel like through her shame, she'd avoid Saiki until finally accepting Saiki's power.

Also She never had anybody glimpse into her actual personality, so the fact Saiki had secretly been there to help her or support her even when he knew her feelings.. yeah she'd cry. Just out of the stress of being perfect and all.

I also think that she'd likely get over her feelings for him or atleast accept them (?) Depends how you interpret it. I'm fine either way (THERES A SKIP AND LOAFER REFERENCE IN HERE BTW)

Friendly reminder that Mel and Jayce would have died holding each other if she wasn’t a mage.

I saw someone say “Jayce made the decision to die with Viktor” as an argument against Mel/Jayce. First of all, if Mel wasn’t a mage Jayce would have died with her in the explosion. Jayce shielded her with his body.

Does that devalue Viktor’s importance to him? No!

(And I know for a fact if they showed Jayce shielding Viktor with his body with Mel to the side people would be screaming “see it’s proof he doesn’t love her!”)

Second- was Jayce supposed to let Viktor die alone to “prove” he loved Mel??

I see this type of argument all the time.

“Jayce left Mel in bed to go to Viktor” - Yeah cause Vik was dying? Was he supposed to just go back to sleep?

“Jayce left Mel after the explosion to save Viktor” - One of them is perfectly unharmed and the other has two feet in the grave!

“Jayce spent all his time in the lab waiting for Viktor to wake up” - Mel clearly isn’t jealous, and of course he’s at Viktor’s side, he’s in a coma!

Those times “Jayce chose Viktor over Mel” were because Viktor needed him in those moments. Since when can you only love one person at a time?

Vi loves Jinx immensely and would do anything to save her. That doesn’t “take away” from her love for Caitlyn. The same applies for Jayce!

Eddie’s on the couch shirtless, and Steve is having a full-on crisis.

Eddie’s bare chest is on full display on Robin and Steve’s couch, and Steve is having a full-blown, how did this not click til now, crisis.

Steve knows he’s staring. Knows he needs to stop staring. Eddie is going on a rant to them, something about society or something metal (he got distracted when Eddie whipped his shirt off), and Steve should really pay attention because he knows Eddie is going to quiz him after.

For someone who hates school so much, Eddie sure likes to test Steve.

Robin comes up behind Steve, slurping her slushy. “Oh no. I know that face. It finally caught up to you, didn’t it?”

Steve breaks his state to give Robin a wide-eyed look. “What—how—I—“ Steve’s shoulders sag; there is no point in hiding from Robin. “How’d you know?”

“Please, babe, I’ve been waiting. Glad to know you actually sped-run this. Was thinking you were going to pull a me and wait til Jenny Rodriguez asks to practice the stage kiss with you before you realized.”

“I have so many questions.”

“Don’t bother; nothing happened except me falling off the stage at rehearsal.”

Steve laughs but then chokes when he glances back at Eddie. “I think my brain just exploded, Robs. What do I do?”

Robin pats his back sympathetically, “There, there. Nothing you can do, bud. Just got to ride the gay thoughts wave.”

Steve makes a distressed noise. Robin rubs circles on his back.

Eddie interrupts their moment (clueless to the evident lesbian bisexual solidarity happening), “So what do you guys think? Should I get the sword here?” Eddie drags his hand slowly down his sternum.

“I need you to take it back.” Steve whips his head torwards Robin.

“Take it back?”

“The crisis, take it back.” Steve all but begs Robin.

“Sorry, there is a no refund policy. You can use it or push it to the side; it’s up to you. But either way, that baby is yours.” Robin uses her straw to emphasize her point.

Eddie tilts his head confused, “Uuuh guys? The tattoo?”

Steve waits a moment before responding. “Good.”

“I’m going to need more than that Stevie.”

“Good. Will look good on you. Anything looks good on you.” Steve has to resist shoving his face into his hands. He can feel the rush of heat up to his cheeks.

Eddie’s face breaks into a brilliant, and a little smug, smile. “Awe, thanks, sweetheart. Glad to know I got the Harrington approval.”

“You don’t need my approval to look good.” Steve was going to throw himself off the roof of their apartment. That didn’t even make any sense.

Eddie snorts, “Okay big boy. Whatever you say.”

It comes off flirtier than Steve thought a sarcastic comment could be. This time instead of responding, Steve just caves into the embarrassment, turns around, and starts lightly thumping his head into the wall.

“Eddie, c’mon, you broke him! Now I’m going to have to reboot him…again.”

Steve doesn’t see his face but doesn’t have to look to know that Eddie’s face is downright giddy. “Sorry.”

Steve doesn’t think he’s very sorry at all.

I love Zane and Kai and how the writers made them so subtly (tho often times it’s incredibly obvious) care for each other. Like wdym Kai became a reck after Zane’s death? wdym he was the one who gave a speech about how Zane powered him? Wdym Zane is one of the people who are able to so easily calm Kai down and make him listen? Wdym Kai and Zane perfectly balance each other out?? Idc about any other duo i DEMAND MORE KAI AND ZANE THEY ARE SO UNDERRATED DO YOU SEE THOSE TWO??

Like BRO Kai is someone who did (does?) not understand technology, is hot tempered, always front and centre stage, loud and proud, and is the definition of an extrovert who is also somewhat an introvert.

Zane, on the other hand, is an advanced technological species (the first of his kind), can always keep his temper under control, is someone who enjoys the background of everything, is quiet and observant, and is an introvert who is somewhat an extrovert.

Yet they both are extremely protective, to the point they would sacrifice themselves. They both handle emotions differently and express them differently yet they both feel an overwhelming amount of them. They both spent a majority of their lives away from society and were considered ‘different’ from others their age.

They both balance each other out yet also meet each other in their similarities. They both understand each other in a way barely anyone else does, and they always look at each other for a sense of peace or comfort.

They usually always dip him or twist so that he's below, down, or they bend down to properly kiss him.

Or my all time favorite, Sam standing on his tiptoes so that the height difference between him and Luke(literally an inch or smth) is more pronounced

They're all so gentle with their kisses too, well, i mean, passionate, but sweet, so tender, the softest in between sentences kisses, cupping the other person's cheeks, making sure they stay upright,

like when Luke and AJ kissed in I don't remember what it was called, with the german dude and Xavier, AJ completely bent, twisting so that Luke was almost touching the floor he was dipped so low, and Luke's legs were not stable, he very easily could have fallen, but instead he went limp, trusted AJ to catch him and let himself be dipped.
