While researching Mando'a for a fic, I found out that Mandalorians call droids 'Beskar'ad' and it's just thE CUTEST THING EVER!

In Mando'a, Beskar means iron and ad means son/daughter... so droids are literally iron sons/daughters and I just:

It's sO sweet, especially when you consider how much value Mandalorian culture places on children. The fact they think of droids as iron sons or daughters is so precious!

Also, I would do anything to witness Din Djarin's reaction to learning that information. His protectiveness towards children and hatred of droids would be the two wolves fighting inside him!!

So I’m hella excited over the third season coming I just pray we get some more of Din’s feelings about his past, so I finally drew this little thing I’ve been thinking about for a while ;v;

I firmly believe wearing a helmet for your whole life is no reason to not style yourself like you want, so let Din have a mustache if he wants™!, but also I like to think he looks at himself on the mirror and can’t help but think of his dad :’) so he keeps the mustache.

Also pls let Din adopt Grogu and show him his face when they’re alone!!!!

yes, yes, boba fett finds it strange and uncomfortable when people can see his face and this is one of the major reasons he almost never removes his helmet (in the expanded universe anyway), but another factor that i think isn't explored nearly enough is just how much his helmet shapes how he sees the world. it grants him 360° vision, lets him interface with his weapon systems and slave I, and automatically dampens loud noises and dims bright lights. imagine going through the vast majority of your life seeing the world through that lens and then suddenly taking it away. removing his helmet for any significant length of time likely isn't just uncomfortable for him but downright disorienting.

Ok school teacher Luke for Dinluke AUs are amazing but also consider martial arts teacher Luke. Din’s a little worried about Grogu being so small and wants to make sure he can defend himself Incase of bullies. Paz tells him to put the kid into boxing like they did growing up but Din sees a flyer for a self defense class and takes grogu there, only the teachers a hot blonde with a black belt and Din is smitten. Especially if Paz goes with him and talks shit about the class so Luke asks him to volunteer for a demonstration and flips Paz over his shoulder

Probably the one I am most excited about truthfully. It has just been a lot of fun to work on this piece from sketch to finish. I would've loved to have spent even more time on it, but alas, life. Maybe I'll do a redraw in the future :)
