in the first two parts, they're drawn in color in halfbody shots. shadow is solemnly gazing at the green chaos emerald that he has floating in his hands, his ears pinned back. sonic is looking upward at something, shading his eyes. he brightly says, "Shadow, Shadow you're an asshole man."

closing his eyes and gesturing with one hand, Shadow casually replies, "You are what you eat, Sonic." sonic stares at him blankly, taken off guard.

in the last two parts, the view is pulled back to see them as fullbodies shots, and they're single-colored (shadow red, sonic blue) and in a more basic stick figure art style. "What the- what the hell man? oh my god," sonic exclaims, surprised, while shadow just kind of looks at him.

then sonic leans forward a little, points at him, and cheekily says, "that was kinda sick!" with an awkward laugh, shadow puts a hand on a hip and replies, "thanks I worked hard on it." end id]

oh my god so i just saw this picture of froy guitterez with a bearded dragon and i fear i am going to have to give clyde a bearded dragon. i'm not sure how he got her, ( prolly by doing something extremely impulsive, dumb and unhinged ), but he snuck her into him and tolkien's dorm room and was like "okay! so don't get mad BUT--"

...he was Mad, btw. but rm!tolkien doesn't scream because he is a dignified british king ( the only one i respect ) and just speaks at a slightly louder volume and does things with his eyebrows like "Why. Do. You. Have. A. LIZARD. Clyde?" and he's like "okay, first of all, she's not JUST a lizard; she's a Bearded Dragon and her name is-" idk what her name is it's probably something insane like glizzy or salamanda or mary guana, i want to start crying, oh my god. clyde loves reptiles.

and tolkien is like "right...so does 'glizzy' have a cage? food?...water?" and clyde is just staring at him blankly like, "damn. i didn't think about that." KHSSDLKSDH HELP so they go to a lil pet store, i think they figure out a clever way to keep her warm and make her a strange makeshift enclosure. tldr, she gets all set up...except they have to Hide her ( also prolly in some elaborate way ) bc they're not supposed to have pets in the dorms and at first, tolkien was so Anti-Glizzy, like he made clyde put up lost lizard ads online/stuff on craigslist...

...buUUUUt accidentally got attached to her and secretly took the all listings down. anyways, happy pride month ft. rm!tyde co-parenting a lizard daughter together. the world is a beautiful place, in fact. <3

Does mapleshade still follow Crookedstar in this? What if her purpose doing that is to make sure riverclan never rejects a half-clan kit again (that’s why he doesn’t question Misty and stone and another reason for wanting his grandkits in riverclan)

I'm passionate about the idea that people are heavily influenced by their circumstances. It's much easier to be a good person when you have loving guidance and the environment to be your best self. Likewise, pain and suffering can bring out the worst even in the kindest, most selfless people.

And in both of the AUs I have for Mapleshade, she is not a particularly nice person to begin with. But being StarClan's best prosecutor allows the positive aspects of her personality to shine. So to answer your question:

"Does Mapleshade still follow Crookedstar?"

#Bonefall Rewrite

In the current version of my rewrite, Mapleshade is condemned to the Dark Forest for 3 counts of murder. She takes the ruling with pride and confidence, playing to the sympathetic crowd by chasing the other damned souls into the Dark Forest.

In truth she's just as spiteful as she was in life, and now she's alone with no friends or family, bored, in Hell, and uses all that spare time to haunt Appledusk's lineage, and basically everyone associated with her death (Perchpaw/shine as well).

So, it's really not for a constructive reason that she follows Stormkit. She pushed him off the stone to kill him and only broke his jaw. She notices that Rainflower has a spiteful, awful view of her son, and decides that it would cause even more suffering to keep Stormkit alive. She kills some more kits so he'll have a foster to suckle him, just to watch them make each other miserable.

(rewrite recap: Rainflower is now the Appledusk descendant. Stormkit is not getting a cruel renaming, Crookedjaw is an honor title.)

Crookedstar follows Darkstar's commandment, the Queen's Rights, because he is a good, proud leader who abides by the traditions of his predecessors. That's all. Mapleshade doesn't need to bully him into 'clan loyalty' or anything, her haunting is much more actively malevolent than canon.

#Better Call Mapleshade AU

In StarClan, Mapleshade is with her kits. Her wonderful, sweet children-- they are an excellent influence. She's still ruthless and vengeful, of course, but she lives for the contrary position she can hold up to StarClan

A LOT of her motivation stems from that. From knowing that StarClan would otherwise let people in who shouldn't be there (hypocritical? Yes) and she takes this duty very seriously.

The BCM AU shares some aspects of the Bonefall Rewrite, but here, I think it's very similar to canon. Mapleshade watches Rainflower emotionally abuse an innocent kitten, and she KNOWS that Rainflower would just get into StarClan without any intervention (the way she did in canon). Mapleshade needs more evidence to condemn her-- and she will create scenarios to get what she needs.

On one paw this IS born out of righteous fury. She IS thinking of her own kits, you might agree that Rainflower deserved the Dark Forest, and Mapleshade won't FORCE Rainflower to do anything she wouldn't already do. She will test her, that's all.

But to test her? She is going to use Crookedkit. This WILL cause a lot more pain to him than if she just left it all alone and let Rainflower get into StarClan. She encourages him into positions of power to prove himself, she lets this young cat think that his value is tied to what his abusive mother thinks of him.

Because the more pain he displays, the further the lengths he goes to in service of appeasing Rainflower, the more Mapleshade can use as ammo to get her damned.

Mapleshade always serves her own interests first and foremost, not those of the greater good.

Heacanons: Penny Edition

Modern Penny isn't exactly the same person as the older games Penny. I'd estimate she kicked the bucket some time in-between G&W and Gold. Crygor brought her back in some sort of generation iteration type work.

This is why her hair, eye, and blood colors all appear as magenta, however Red, 5-Volt, and 9-Volt can see what it actually is thanks to more advanced color range.

She used to dye her hair orange herself but her new iteration prefers the pink. Crygor insists on her dyeing it anyway just out of his own anxiety. Her old natural hair color was brown.

She forgot who a lot of people were when she was brought back and so a lot of her relationships changed. For example, Mona was an inspiration to her in the past but not anymore. However, they are still good friends.

Really wants to be Ashley's friend despite the fact she's the #1 person he Does Not Want To Talk To (They even used to be rivals!). But Red is gladly her best friend.

She and Crygor both learned sign language after her alarm clock rendered him deaf which made her realize one of her favorite things to study outside of science is history.

Since she's too nervous to upload her own singing online, she uses UTAUs to sing her songs for her and she's gotten pretty popular from it. Her favorite UTAUloid is Momo.

Vanessa has been following her channel for a while and wants to hear Penny sing one day.

Unintentionally made Ashley a renowned hero in Diamond City because he kept destroying all of the mechs that escaped from her lab and caused trouble.
