what flower/plant would you associate with BSAR?

i did not. mean to take 10 thousand years to answer this. why did it take so long? i couldnt decide and it was Haunting me. what plant fits BSAR best... it kept me up at night

planty wise usually i just put misc moss and ferns and shrubs but i really wanted to play around with flower symbolism so i decided to choose gladiolus and asphodel! (chosen with the help of my friends bc i was hopeless at deciding on my own lol) Gladiolus because they (according to google) represent strength of character and moral integrity, which i thought would be fitting since the Nation frames BSARs as divine tools of liberation. Asphodel too however because (again according to google) they represent death and mourning, so i thought it would be fun to include them as a reference to BSAR actually being nothing more than tools of death and destruction in a senseless war. i put way too much thought into this. anyways heres a sketchy doodle of 777 my favorite bussard all plantied up with gladioluses and asphodels. dont look to hard at the gladioluses though i got really lazy

Okay 3 things

1. I was thinking about an aroace Sonic who says things that can be taken as wildly flirty/romantic but he just means them genuinely. “You have beautiful eyes, I keep getting distracted while looking at them,” not cause he’s interested romantically in them but because eyes can be really cool and pretty man I dunno what to tell you he likes looking at cool things and he thinks his friends are neat. “You’re the most beautiful person here,” because he really thinks that, he loves his friends

2. Sonic randomly dropping heartfelt genuine comments on his friends out of the blue completely blindsiding them and then moves on like nothing happened while they’re left going ?????? Bonus points if he does something immensely stupid or jerkish just before or immediately afterwards and they can’t tell if he was serious or not with the compliment (yes he was)

3. Sonic usually being so allergic to truly vulnerable moments that when he expresses something heartfelt randomly Tails thinks he’s been stabbed or something and does not believe him when he reassures him that he’s fine he’s fine he’s not dying yeesh

In short- the bugs of Hallownest did not take it well. Lots of screaming about "The end of the world" and "past sins coming back to haunt them". Elderbug almost had his second heart attack and basically every bug, other than the Pale King children and Quirrel, hid for several hours. (Zote likes to claim he was the first to make contact)

As for why Dewi's Dad is in Dirtmouth? Well, he wasn't very happy when his 11 year old son told him about going into a 'mysterious cave' to see his bug friends. Adult supervision and all that.

sniperspy give a little kiss kiss but then they look over and pyro is just….. staring at them. no soul behind those goggles. they kinda freaked out by this but then all of a sudden pyro starts following them around like a little kid and their parents.

i love this ask ahaha "give a little kiss kiss" is so cute! i dont believe ive drawn characters kissing very much before, but i tried here for you :'D

also, thanks for asking for pyro stuff actually! pyro is my third favorite character (aside from sniper and spy, of course) so i had a lot of fun with this :-) hopefully its as much fun to you as it was for me to draw! bonus:

They had a bit of a chance encounter on a day where Blueblood was dealing with something that was very difficult and was so caught up in his emotions he didn’t even care that he was in the garden getting grass stans on his coat and Ditzy, with her natural impulse to cheer ponies up, didn’t even notice or care that she was flying into the palace gardens when she saw someone sat in the rain.

At first he was definitely going to call the castle guards to come apprehend this strange filly with the odd eyes who was intruding when this was the last moment he’d want to entertain any desperate debutantes, however she surprised him by not fawning or anything, not even caring about his status, just putting one of her fluffy wings up and asking if he needed somepony to lend an ear.

“Don’t let my eyes fool you, my ears work just fine!”

She was incredibly disarming and while he didn’t reveal everything about why he was upset, he found himself talking about his feelings to her. And she made such cheerful remarks, and was very comforting. In the end, he felt better and she came to check on him the next day, even sharing a blueberry muffin with him. He remarked that he’d never seen her around before, and that he wouldn’t mind terribly seeing her more often.

The rest, as they say, is history.
