I've been on a streak of listening to albums recently, mainly ones that got me through covid/uni (because those two things coincided to make a hellscape for me) and I remember why they were so powerful now.

-Neotheater by AJR. All about growing up, finding yourself and really helped me when I felt lost.

-0 by Low Roar. I played death stranding during some of the loneliest times and it led me straight into this album's arms. Hauntingly beautiful, something I could listen to the whole of with my eyes closed just....being.

-The Maybe Man by AJR. This album came out whilst I was grieving the loss of a very close friend. God Is Really Real will never not make me cry.

-Apart Together by Tim Minchin. Hilarious and thought provoking, again spoke to my inner weirdo during that time and I have memories of listening to it with my sister.

- A Celebration of Endings and The Myth of The Happily Ever After, both my Biffy Clyro. Some of these songs are wonderfully angry, and I resonated with the anger in a lot of it, and some of it makes me ache (haru urara and u known male 01)

I'm so glad I made the decision to listen to these again. They helped me through some lonely, stressful and downright awful times, and it's amazing to go back and listen to them now that I'm out of that situation. The love I feel for these albums is immense.
