Thinking about AJR’s Burn the House Down again and how it relates to Ace Attorney 4. Specifically the lyrics and these lyrics in particular: “Watch me stand in the line, You're only serving lies, You've got something to hide” I don’t know but it gives me Apollo figuring out that Kristoph is not who he seems vibes and it gives me Phoenix pointing out that Kristoph is shady vibes. I want to make an art piece based around these lyrics for Ace Attorney 4. If I don’t have enough patience to make an animatic for the whole song, I will at least make a drawing based around the lyrics.

Raynotaur lives at the foot of Mystical Pique, where it’s the rockiest. His best friend and partner in crime is Moth, spending every second of the day together. He’s quick and a little impulsive, okay, very impulsive. He loves anything having to do with archery or parkour. Though it’s a little difficult trying to balance on four feet.

Moth is a strange thingamajig, having four arms and lacking very few resemblance to Rayman. Sleepy and sarcastic, he has a hard time staying awake, especially during the day. 5. What made me start my blog? Well, I'd been lurking on tumblr for years, but when I first read Burn the House Down by Kenna Jenkins (still one of my favorite books of all time), the part of my brain that loved playing around with MS Paint in middle school decided that it finally wanted to try and make moodboards. Then that just sprawled into making moodboards/occasional lyric edits/analysises of my favorite shows/pop culture/whatever interspersed with me just reblogging the hell out of whatever catches the attention of my ADHD brain. Thanks for the question- this makes me want to reread Burn the House Down again! (I am always missing Annette, Cynthia, Janine, Preston, and Luis!)

12. Some good advice I want to share. Though I can be seen to fall into the "anti" or critical side of things in certain fandoms (because I find it important to critique shows/celebrities/media for their problematic aspects), I try my best to look at things from all sides and try to back up my points with facts. Though I of course have gotten pissed off at certain shows and people's handling of certain things, I try to write my posts from a slightly more "essay" perspective because it makes me really think deeper about certain shows. As a result of that, I have found that once I make an opinion/post on a topic, I have often really thought something through...which, when I have an opinion that puts me at odds with large swathes of fandom (such as my takes on OFMD and Taylor Swift), means that I can sometimes can get really frustrated with people that take me (and others that share my opinions) out of context. My biggest piece of advice is not being afraid to use the block button. Although I like to read people I don't agree with, it is not worth my mental health to read opinions from people that are operating from bad-faith POVS.

32. How many tabs do you have open right now? How dare you call me out like that. I have twelve WINDOWS open on my laptop right now, much less tabs. And that's less than normal because I just culled some last night. A quick estimate on my laptop is somewhere between 100-150 tabs, but my phone has well over 300 open. And yes, most of those ARE Ao3, thanks for asking.

37. Share a secret. I don't have a lot of those, I don't think? I tend to be an open book, both online and IRL. Most of the secrets I keep IRL have to do with fandoms I'm into, and y'all should be well-aware by now that I'm into shows like Power Rangers. I guess the closest I can come to a secret is that a lot of the shows I reblog on here are shows I've never watched- I'm just fascinated by reading full-blown literary analysis/looking at pretty gifs from shows I've never seen. My blog is a constant guessing game as to what shows I'm actually into v. what shows I'm into the Tumblr fandom for.

38. Fave song at the moment. Good Part by AJR or American Requiem by Beyonce, though I'm sure that will change by tomorrow. I'm hitting the end of a couple-day-loop for both songs, though having gone to the AJR concert this weekend definitely cemented a renewed interest in AJR's extended catalogue.

I saw you love red, white, and royal blue and I've just gotta ask you: have you heard of Burn the House Down by Kenna Jenkins? It's an alternate history novel abt the 1st woman president and her secret sapphic relationship/bearded marriage with her mlm best friend. It also includes a subplot about arson at the White House, ft. An entirely queer main cast and really fleshed out characters, and has a really satisfying ending!

I had never heard of it but now i will ABSOLUTELY read it you completely sold me on this book
