I hate how people characterize Acronix. I absolutely hate it. As someone who finds great interest in him, it pisses me off when people portray him as a "soft whiny kid." Sorry to break it up to you but that guy is a WAR CRIMINAL. He doesn't cry when he falls down and scrapes his knee, and he isn't a poor defenseless puppy that needs protection of his big bro every second. There is nothing wrong with Acronix being vulnerable around his brother, but seriously, the amount of baby-fication of him is insane. He is not 8. He can defend himself and fight (and was one of the best warriors Wu has ever seen). How can you baby-fy him and call him a defenseless kid when in the show, all he does is try to hurt people in order to get what he and Krux want without hesitation?? HE HAS NEARLY KILLED SO MANY CHARACTERS?!?! One thing is saying he is a "smol bean" as a joke, another is ACTUALLY portraying him as one in canon.

Anyway. I like to think about traits they find appealing in other people sometimes,, , not just for crushes really, but their choices of friends mainly

Because for Acronix, I tend to write him befriending people with hobbies or jobs that allow them to create things, namely being Ray (blacksmithing) and Cyrus (technology) as his best friends (besides Krux ofc), but also specific to my au, being friends with the master of form during the fsw (who I hc as having many hobbies in the visual fine arts) and of the ninja, I'd imagine him befriending Nya (, also technology)

And though Acronix isn't much of a creative himself, he'd be happy just observing his friends work or making use of their creations

In Krux's case, I'd think he values people that are honest and straightforward about things, people that are not afraid to speak their mind with him. Leading to him being friends with Misako (also partially due to shared interests), and Roya (an oc of mine), and though I don't have much written about them, I also imagine Krux being friends with the former masters of Sound and Earth.

. Anyway the idea of Acronix having a crush on Ray is so silly to me because I don't think he would really Know if he had a crush on Ray, or anyone. In his mind he just thinks he wants to be Really Good Friends with him, until everything gets cut short at the end of the war. And then later he has similar feelings about Cyrus, until he eventually just goes. Hey Wait A Minute

i have homework to do, so here's an excerpt for an au that i'm probably never going to finish:

“–And then I get amnesia and reappear in some small village somewhere in the mountains with nothing from my past life. I wander back to Ninjago City and claim I have no recollection of robbing any driving-throughs. By season nine I’ve successfully integrated back into society but still have no idea what egregious crimes I committed, or anything from my life before. Thoughts?”

Krux hummed. “It could work. If we can find some way to excuse the rest of us as suspects from your breakout, it would be even better.”

“I don’t see why you have to have a run-in with a horde of killer bees,” Machia said. “It’s a waste of time and resources.”

Acronix rolled his eyes, folding the paper back over the easel. He hit the picture with the ruler he had “borrowed.” “Obviously it’s because the horde of killer bees is an integral part of what my character needs to go through in order to realise that he was wrong to shun his older brother Sander all those years ago for wanting to be a museum curator instead of travelling the world in a circus with him like they’d always dreamed of doing. Duh, Machia. Keep up.”

“Not to mention the metaphorical significance of a horde of killer bees,” Krux said. “The bees symbolise all the negative messages society has been forcing on the character for his whole life. Running from the killer bees is symbolic of Gander rejecting society’s hurtful conventions.” Acronix nodded in affirmation, grinning smugly. “Really, Commander Machia, I expected better of you.”

Machia exhaled. “My apologies for questioning your brother’s ingenious plan, Krux. I won’t say such foolish things in the future.”

“If– if I say your plan is good, Acronix, will you let me go?” Borg asked.

“No,” The three of them answered.
