do you perhaps have any more Loretta/Bill content I’m VERY curious about their dynamic now 👁️👁️

I HAVE. SO MUCH. CONTENT. Loretta has been an oc I have had for YEARS so I absolutely have SO much stuff on her! Shes definitely my favorite oc alongside Jack, my other gravity falls oc. The short of it is they are forced to work together out of inconvenience by the Axolotl.. The most recent development has been the change in Lorettas ability revolving her sight because I thought it would be so cool if Loretta had the same/similar kind of mutation to Bill. It didn't change much to her character, just another reason why they ended up at the wrong place at the wrong time (time police events. I seriously need to write fanfic of the whole story LMAO)

Their dynamic is SO FUN. They bicker ALL the time and usually are yapping about something. They live together, so I think they argue over the smallest things. When they first ended up needing to work together, Bill was not thrilled AT ALL. He was VERY closed off. Loretta, not knowing this creature at all, just decided to let him do his own thing. It's only after an event where Loretta protects Bill when he's at his weakest that Bill realizes Loretta is harmless and that it wouldn't hurt to try to get some enjoyment out of her company. That turns into an actual friendship, which turns into Bill finding out Loretta is like him. Through this, they open up and become closer because of their similar identities. They just ended up on different paths because of their own mutations AUGH. Bill wanted more, when in comparison Loretta was content with what her world was already like.

Loretta is a demon hunter. She takes bounties from individuals around town to get rid of weirdness. She naturally has a knack for attracting it, so the job is perfect for her. Bill helps her with her bounties; in exchange, Loretta lets Bill drain her energy so he can regain his physical form. I have a whole animatic on my tiktok that shows how the possession works-

They are silly. They fight over what to watch on the tv, they karaoke and drink together, it takes AGES for Bill to actually open up to Loretta, Whenever they decide to share the bed (even though Bill doesn't sleep) he kicks off Lorreta off of it anyway just to frustrate her, they do makeup together, They drive up to one of the hills in gravity falls via Loretta's motorcycle and watch the sunset together. Love them. I have SO many thoughts on their dynamic, but they are there for each other, and despite all their issues, they love each other. They NEVER say it to each other because Bill is deathly scared of that word.

They are an oc x canon ship so they are together as partners TECHNICALLY. Still, I also think they are so messed up via the canon story that an ACTUAL domestic relationship dynamic just doesn't work for the two. Plus, Bill needs help understanding labels and Loretta doesn't need them. Plus there's the Jack situation...Which is a WHOLE OTHER RANT. JACK. AUGH. The love triangle (literally) goes insane. In my happy au they are a polycule asf.

Literally ask ANY questions about them, I might even draw something up if its a fun scenario you guys send,,, I LOVE THAT PEOPLE ARE INTERESTED IN THE OCS BECAUSE !!!! I HAVE SO MUCH CONTENT FOR THEM.

Well imagine if you were in his shoes. You are transported to some kind of unknown world. And absolutely no one arounds you speaks the same language as you.

Sneep has no way of knowing this is a digital plane. He has no idea if the people around him are real or not, he cant remember his name and no one can explain to him why that is. His body looks different, he feels different, no one around him looks to be a human.. just imagine how scary that is. Not having the comfort of things being explained to you in this situation. Not having the comfort of someone telling you "everything will be okay".

Yeah, I'd lose my mind pretty quick too 💀

XD No worries! And yeah I started playing Warframe for the first time these past few days. Its been fun so far, Mag being my favorite. (She's the only frame I have <XDD)

I have my eyes out for Titania Prime, Trinity Prime, Mag prime and Mirage Prime. I'm thinking Titania might be my new favorite if I can snag one!

This game is fun, but the longer I play it? The more I miss OG Overwatch 😅 I tried playing TF2 again today and it just isn't the same 😔💔

Hello! So far my tablet is still alive. Although I'm looking into getting my laptop checked out and maybe replacing somethings... 😔

And it was fun to draw Bibi again! I should really draw the fam more often <XD

Not sure what resolutions they'd have.. but one of mine is to be cured of this condition. Or at least get to a point where I can actually function normally again. There's a lot of things planned for 2025 and if I don't get better soon? I'm gonna miss out on all of it. 💔

There's 2 reasons for this. 1 being that I have been battling some very limiting health conditions for about 8 months now. So drawing my sona all goopy and sickly is to represent how I've felt through this trial 🥲🥲

But the second reason isn't so bad. That being that its just fun to draw my sona like that XD

The thing that upsets Gummigoo isn't just that his mom isn't real necessarily, its that his memories of her aren't real too. He remembers all these experiences with this person but the memories aren't real...

And the whole reason why Caine let the brothers stay was because he hoped it would help Pomni adjust to the circus. Just like Bella did for Gangle. Bringing up NPCs or things from the Gators adventure could upset or confuse them so Caine wouldn't want to risk it. <:(

Oh I get a lot stolen from those other fandoms too. Octonauts has just been the most frustrating. Constant tracings, theft, copycats, disrespect, its was nuts.

I think you guys have a lot of catching up to do, huh?”  Wie hätte er ‘Nein’ sagen können. Als sie den Chat mit den zwei anderen las, hatte sie so versunken gewirkt, das war so hübsch an ihr: wenn sie in ihrer Arbeit oder ihren Hobbies verlor und ihm wenig später euphorisch davon berichtete. Auch, wenn es ihm lieber war, sie widmete ihre ganze Aufmerksamkeit den Sims 4 und keinen verlassenen, spukenden Orten, an denen Gott weiß was auf sie wartete. 

Sie hatten sich in Boulder, einer kleinen Stadt an den Ausläufern der Rocky Mountains, getroffen, dort hatte Elijah Isaiah das erste Mal kennen gelernt. Er und Liz hatten sich über Reddit kennen gelernt (zugegeben noch immer eine Plattform, mit der er nur– langsam warm wurde), auch Pavel kannte den Blonden zuvor nicht. Eine illustre Truppe, geradewegs auf den Weg zu einem Hotel, in dem eine undefinierte Anzahl an Menschen bereits ihr Leben gelassen hatte. Großartig.  Sie alle fuhren in Liz’ RV in Richtung des Hotels, der Brünette hatte auf dem Beifahrersitz Platz genommen und unterhielt sich immer Mal wieder sporadisch mit der Fahrerin, die meiste Zeit schwieg er aber, während sich Elizabeth mit Isaiah und Pavel über ihre Leidenschaften austauschte: Geister, Kryptiden, okkulte Rituale, Dämonen oder seltsame Gestalten, die die Wälder von Nirgendwo beherbergten. Irgendwann ging es darum, dass sie beide irgendeinem Podcast beiwohnen sollten und sicherlich fantastische Geschichten zu erzählen hatten, woraufhin Elijah kaum merklich die Augen verdrehte und aus dem Fenster sah, sein Buch auf seinen Oberschenkel legte und sich den Nasenrücken massierte. ‘If this kid ain’t gonna shut up for one second, I think I’m gonna–’, dachte er, doch brach den Gedanken ab. Ein Innehalten, das er nicht selbst zu verantworten hatte. Sein Blick ging zu Elizabeth, die ihre Hand auf seine legte und ihm aufmunternd zulächelte. Momente wie diese waren so hübsch an ihr; wenn man sie nur gut genug kannte, konnte man ihr alles ansehen, dachte er, jedes Gefühl in allen Nuancen. “I like your sweater”, lächelte sie breiter auf und er sah an sich herunter, schmunzelte und nickte. Natürlich mochte sie ihn, sie hatte ihm den grobmaschigen blauen ‘Apollo 11’-Pullover geschenkt.

“Gods, this is the coolest thing I’ve seen in ages, you’re a genius for suggesting this!”, kommentierte der Blonde irgendwann und hatte sich zwischen Fahrer- und Beifahrersitz niedergekniet, “Pavel, take a look at this beauty!” Der Blick, der zu dem Podcast-Host hinüber ging war nur ein flüchtiger, auch Elijah kam nur schwer darum herum ebenfalls das Haus vor sich zu betrachten: doch im Gegensatz zu den anderen beschlich ihn ein ungutes Gefühl. Irgendetwas hatte dieser Ort an sich, was ihn unwohl sein ließ. Als eine Schönheit würde er das Overlook nicht unbedingt bezeichnen. Das Gebäude ragte fast schon bedrohlich in den dämmernden Himmel, die Wolken zogen schneller als sonst. Als sie ausstiegen schien eine unheilvolle Brise die Luft zu durchziehen. In dem Gemäuer vor ihnen schien stumm die Vergangenheit des Hotels wiederzuhallen, das hier Geschehene hing schwer in der Luft, als hätten sich die Tragödien in der Beschaffenheit des Bodens festgesetzt⸺ Elijah schluckte schwer. Für eine Weile hoffte er, dass der Schnee so hoch liegen würde, als dass der Eingang nicht mehr zugänglich war. Aber vergebens.  Gedanken, Gefühle und Eindrücke, die die drei anderen offensichtlich nicht zu teilen schienen. Er machte ein Foto von der Szenerie, ehe sein Blick ging zu ihnen ging, während er an seiner Zigarette zog.

Im Inneren hatten sie darüber nachgedacht, dass sie sich aufteilen könnten: Etwas, was Elijah nicht ganz verstand. Auch, wenn er kaum Horrorfilme in seinem Leben gesehen hatte, so war ihm schon während dem ‘Blair Witch’-Filmabend bewusst geworden, dass aufteilen immer die denkbar schlechteste Idee war. “I have a bad feeling about this”, hatte er Elizabeth irgendwann in das Vertrauen gezogen, während sich der Geisterjäger und der Podcaster unterhalten hatten. “I’ll be with you shortly, Eli, promised. There should be a maze around here, I bet there’s some scary stuff to investigate there, too. I’ll be with you in five, just let me get a look at the foyer, will ya?” Ihr Lächeln wurde breiter, seines ebenfalls. Behutsam strich er über das Haar der Brünetten, küsste ihre Schläfe und nickte.  “Be careful in there, alright?”, hatte er ihr noch leise gesagt. “Took you long enough. So where we wanna go first?”

Elijahs Laune sank minütlich. Ihm war kalt, er hatte keine Lust auf irgendetwas Paranormales und wäre deutlich lieber einfach abends in ein Pub gegangen und hätte es sich bei einem Bier gut gehen lassen. In der fünften Minute hatte er tief durchgeatmet und sich daran erinnert, dass er all das hier für Liz tat, die viel Wert darauf legte, dass er hier war. Und irgendwo rührte es ihn auch, dass sie ihn dabei haben wollte. Bei Minute dreizehn war ihm gänzlich die Lust vergangen. Er dachte daran, wie Isaiah seinen Arm um Liz’ Hals gelegt hatte, als die Texanerin die letzten Meter zu ihren Freunden aufgeholt hatte. “You’re a genius for suggesting this, I bet you have fantastic stories to tell, Do YoU wAnNa JoIn My PoDcAsT?”, äffte er leise den Blonden nach, als er an seiner Zigarette zog, eine Weile lang auf und ab ging. “Fuck off. I listen to these stories, not some pretentious kid from Michigan. LoOk At Me I hAvE sO aNd So MaNy MoNtHlY lIsTeNeRs. Who gives a shit”, fluchte er und warf die Zigarette in den Schnee, ehe er sich umdrehte und zum Eingang des Labyrinths sah. Er musterte Liz, die hinter einer der Hecken stand und für einige Augenblicke befürchtete er, dass sie ihn gehört hatte. “What took you so long? I thought you’d stand me up for a fucking hotel.” Sie lächelte breiter und verschwand hinter der Hecke, was ihn zum Lächeln brachte und er ihr hinterher ging. Manchmal sah er nur einen Schatten von ihr, bat sie darum langsamer zu laufen und kam die meiste Zeit kaum hinterher, bis sie in der Mitte des Labyrinthes angekommen waren. Sie stand in der Mitte, sie hatte ihren Schal und die Jacke abgelegt und stand im weißen Kleid vor ihm. “Love…”, sagte er leise und ging ein paar Schritte auf sie zu, zog sich seine Jacke aus und legte sie ihr um, ehe er ihr die Mütze aufsetzte und über ihre Schultern rieb, um sie aufzuwärmen. Ihre Lippen waren blau, ihre Nasenspitze rot und sie fror am ganzen Körper. “Liz, we need to get you back to the RV. You’re freezing.” Sie nickte ruhig und sah zu ihm hoch, lächelte selig auf und lehnte sich an ihn. “Don’t you wanna stay a while?”, fragte sie ihn und lächelte ihm zuckersüß entgegen, strich mit ihren kalten Fingern sanft über seine Wange. Ein kalter Schauer lief ihn über den Rücken, ehe er ihre Hand nahm und sie zwischen seine legte. “It’s 20°F, love, and even though the sweater’s comfy and all, it ain’t the solution for these temperatures. Your RV’s all nice and toasty for you, hm?”“But I want you to stay, Elijah.” Sie nannte ihn selten bei seinem vollen Vornamen. Eigentlich nur, wenn sie wütend auf ihn war. Oder verzweifelt. “Take this”, fuhr sie fort und legte behutsam etwas in seine Hand, verdeckte den Gegenstand aber.

Auch, wenn er zuvor schon Berührungen mit Terror gehabt hatte, schien er sich nie wirklich daran zu gewöhnen. Elizabeth fiel in sich zusammen, ihre Gelenke bogen sich in schier unbeugsame Richtungen, ihr Kopf lag auf dem Boden auf, sah mit weit aufgerissenen Augen zu ihm hoch.  Sein Atem ging flach. Es war schwer seinen Augen zu trauen. Für eine Weile verharrten sie so, ehe sie sich auf allen Vieren über das schneebedeckte Kiesbett davon stahl, ihr Kopf und die langen, braunen Haare zogen den Schnee mit sich, bis sie hinter einer der Hecken verschwand.  Minutenlang hatte er in der Eiseskälte gestanden, seine Fingerglieder wurden allmählich blau. Sein Blick fiel auf den Schlüssel mit einem roten Anhänger in seiner Hand.  𝐙𝐈𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐑 𝟐𝟑𝟕.

hi!! holds up hand. in a more ideal situation (interpret that how you wish, maybe liike in the leaving together ending?) who do you think would broken have the healthiest relationsip with? both other voices and vessels.

oh, what a fun little question! upon reread i realize you might've meant a romantic relationship but i wrote this with mostly friendships in mind. however, i literally adore every broken pairing so i suppose this could still be read either way ♡

might be a little unexpected, but i imagine for 1-on-1 settings that broken would be hanging out with cheated most of time. ironically, where broken's bitterness tends to be ignored, cheated is way more friendly than people give him credit for.

broken frequently laments he's never been listened to, but cheated actually does listen to him! when you choose to surrender in the arms race, the other voices are against it, but cheated says it's worth a shot, and he's never harsh when speaking to him like the others. out of everyone he'd probably understand why broken has completely given up, and that he has good intentions despite. i can only think he'd be upset if forced into the apotheosis route (blacktabbygames on my hands and knees, please please please-), but most of his rage would be directed at the princess for rigging the game than anything the voices did.

i imagine cheated probably gently urges them to hang out together if broken's up for it. they'd do little activites like cleaning the church together, board games, sitting quietly as the rain falls, going out on a little rowboat on the lake to do some fishing and accepting their bad luck when it inevitably capsizes. divorced dad energy as i've seen someone say.

oh! as a bonus, for my own voices, chichi always huddles broken into his coat or offers it whenever it gets crowded since he knows broken doesn't do well with being looked at + broken reminds him of his family (flinching) :3c

hmm, as for the other voices, i think broken would have a nicest friendship with smitten and paranoid but they'd tend to clash more. which isn't a bad thing! smitten would definitely go overboard trying to cheer broken up and make him feel a little uneasy, while broken would undoubtedly assert that they are not destined lovers on equal footing with the princess, but i think they would still enjoy each other's company despite their differences. guys hated for their swag (unapologetically killing tlq).

paranoid meanwhile i think of as an exasperated mother hen. he wouldn't be overtly friendly like smitten or cheated but the first to check him over for any harm. have you eaten today? did you shower? you're making gloomy expression again, what are you thinking about? we need to go shopping later, your clothes are all ragged- and other clucking. the two are always pushing and pulling against eachother but i think of para as his closest friend because of it. tough love, baby!

i sometimes see posts where opportunist is jealous of witch/thorn and i think we should give tower the same treatment. her weird ass should stay grumbling by her temple's window as she watches broken and his friend clumsily dance in the garden. literally the virgin vs chad meme with these two.

i like to think in an au where they're seperate from shifting quiet that beast-wild would struggle with her personhood, and perhaps try seeking forgiveness from a deity since she can't forgive herself. she meets broken and they become sad little kindred spirits found whispering excitedly in the backpew.

and last but not least damsel! dambroken are quite similar characters in the sense they're both highly subservient to their lovers to the point of figuratively becoming nothing, so i always think of their interactions as the "and so, they were both bottoms" meme.

i actually think they'd actually clash a bit upon meeting. damsel's heart would break seeing her husband in such a sad state (in her mind everyone is just collectively married), and broken would probably be a little offput by how submissive she is despite being a princess. he'd get flustered if she tried to help him cook or clean and send her away, and outside the door you can see her mind kicking into overdrive trying to figure out how she's expected to make him happy if she can't do anything.

and maybe finally they'd have a quiet bonding moment where they sit and talk about their time in the construct. killing your lover and allowing your lover kill you seriously would have messed them up, and sharing pain with another lessens it. atleast a little.

Ok- so ok- I'm excited I'm gona go off prompt a bit because he's my second favorite character in the show and it's wonderful.

One thing I'd like to state for the record, in most of my aus he's actually a good guy. Or a good man in a bad situation. There are a few exceptions. Yluid Winnie is definitely not a protagonist and he's probably committed a lot of violence in the hero au- and you know what!

Because my Winnie head cannons change depending on the au I'm just going to talk about all my different versions of him!

To learn from the tragedies: what? He's in that au!? Yes<3. Not until book two but he comes into play. Sara basically has to build this like full out summoning circle and bam! They have Carlos back on their side. But not fully. I haven't decided where he lies in terms of memories yet but I know he's going to be a pain to everyone no matter who's side he's on.

Shattered dreams: SD LORE IN 2024!??! yes. Sd!Winnie is so special to me guys he commits unethical sciences, he falls from the celling, he tears out peoples worst insecurities, he hates him self, he has the largest ego, he's just a guy, he's the biggest threat these guys have ever faced, he'll try to be nice to one set of kids but the second they get out of hand give up trying. He's so- just imperfect. If I were to have finished the fic he would have eventually been swayed over, likely for a silly and dumb reason but ends being a super valuable ally in the final battle and what not.

Swap au: NOT the shuffle au, the skating in silence one. It's never mentioned but in that au Carlos takes the place of alison. I find this to be the funny thing known to man. Imagine, your savior, your light as your dying,the one who's guarding and protecting souls with an incomprehensible power. AND ITS CARLOS NICHOLSON. even funnier if wiatts the main protagonist and nearly died only to have his grandfather next to him like "get up kid! We still have work to do! I didn't raise you to die you idiot! Are you going to save your Twink or not?!!" Idk I find it just- harious I'm sorry -

I will make them create my world: he's uh- he's the Brights royal advisor of War. (Did I do this just so I could make Owen a general......no- shut up- don't look at my other hyper fixation)

Buried masks: ohhhh this one's fun. Uhm. You'll see him around. He's a doctor in this au. Really good friends with Litho, they like go golfing together. Knows the main cast pretty well. Buddies with Eric, teases founder trio and wiatt, gives the kids 15 dollar gift cards on their birthdays and has the best Halloween candy, he always gets full sized candy bars. Uhmmm yep. And he doesn't do anything morally wrong or questionable at all ever. Nope why would you say that about him. Accusing him of horrifically preforming inhumane procedures on kids in order to save his grandson?!? Pfff- what- ha! Never...... Don't ask where the supplies keeps going.

Superhero au: haven't fully developed him yet, he's a retired villain. Rich and has beef with Damien. (Everyone has beef with Damien in this au.) Probably the owner of whatever company Wiatt works for and is sort of in the background that people go to for funding or just to reference past villains. i think his powers had something to do with cameras. haven't entirely decided because it hasn't come up yet.

Steven Universe au: Hesssssssssss participating in evil experiments again. Hes Saras pearl but also just, actually enjoys the messed-up sciences and doing the test and experiments. he likes being her assistant. he likes the power that comes with it. he just helps her with the smaller finer details on her works and so, Acrimony's and Damien have a lot of trauma form in. He probably played a role in some of the triplet's issues as well just from being mean. but overall he's just sort of a threat to get around.

Super-Secret Oc Au/ Mine and Dangers au: So consider chat, Carlos Nicholson and Carly Gale forming a toxic, slightly dependent relationship after a lot of stuff goes down. Did Winnie kill her loved ones and then....not tell the truth about it? yes. Did he also by accident end up providing her comfort and helped her grieve though it? yes. he tried to help her. she just.....kept asking questions in the wrong direction and now their both upset because Winnie was finally able to have someone not hates him and understand that his hand is being forced here. Anyway, Carly stole his house and now lives in the abandoned arcade building and uses Winnie to help get information on how to handle the dreamworld situation. (The only reason Carly isn't Dead is because Vivian is instead) Winnies relationship with Norman in this au is also fantastic and deserves a shout out, i nearly wrote out a one-shot scene from this au about Norman and Morris and angst between them but it ended up spiraling into Norman and Winnie Nonsense and then i didn't want to write the original idea anymore because they were too silly. AND HIM AND DOT. OH BOY I DONT KNOW IF I WANT TO GET INTO THAT RIGHT NOW BECUASE THATS ITS WHOLE THING AND YEAH. I'll let Theater explain that one if you're curious. You'll live until i die, and other canon typical one shots: i try to follow canon for these but i think i make him ever so slightly meaner, but not in a...like evil way? more in a game host or like a dramatic way. he uses more insults than actions. but is also just not able to be taken seriously at points. One of my favorite times ive ever written him is a scene in YLUID between just him and ben and he has one single piece of information he needs, but physically cannot help himself from being as cryptic and threating as possible to the point it nearly completely backfires and the thing hes trying not reveal gets revealed. the best way i can describe this interaction is Winnie rolling three nat ones in a row while trying to have a conversation and its hilarious. Also in that au he does actually get defeated and beat up! he is so pathetic <3

Anyway, i think that's Winnie. that's my guy! i have a key chain of him and a friend....Void, who was the asker of this wonderful comment. Painted him for me that i have hung up in my room because i think he is one of the funniest failures of all time and he has a special place in my heart for that.

okay no one asked but here’s some of my thoughts on bliss & blunder (spoilers under the cut)

to preface this probably none of it will make sense if you haven’t read the book sorry

did arthur basically kidnap mordred from india and just take him to england? did i misread that part? what?

gawain lancelot and gareth fighting the taliban in afghanistan is just not something i can comprehend. even ignoring the insanity of them doing that it also kind of feels out of place and random in the story itself? like it’s a tech ceo au but also some of them fought in afghanistan?

arthur wears an apple watch which is a horrible image and also he invites jeff bezos elon musk and obama to his birthday party. and they come 

gawain gets to do his green knight exchange of winnings thing 🥳 big fan of that situation he has going on and it’s a cool scenario with him working in the pub

i think the portrayal of gwen is really really good and it’s very refreshing to see such a strong focus on her and her emotions throughout the book

i think maybe there’s a few too many plot lines and switches of focus and some of them seem very sudden / random / out of nowhere, i feel like it could have benefitted from cutting a few plotlines/sections to be able to give more of a focus and make it less confusing, but maybe that’s just me (also the time jumps were confusing but i could follow them enough)

probably just a typo but at one point galahad is misgendered by the narration and i do think if you have a non binary character you should make 100% sure you haven’t accidentally called them the wrong pronoun at any point

HUGE fan of mordred and galahad in this i think gwen and those two stole the show for me, i just wish there was more of mordred and galahad. galahad’s character is VERY cool im kind of obsessed with them… non binary vegan galahad… i do think it makes sense in this universe to have galahad be into sustainability

love whatever gawain and lancelot have going on. the most fucked up exes of all time engaging in ridiculous methods of not having to see each other <3

still can’t tell who carly is supposed to be in terms of the medieval characters, i could figure out pretty much everyone except for her 😭

overall i did like it quite a lot despite it not being the kind of book i normally like and my issue with the amount of stuff happening at once in it, i think gwen mordred and galahad kind of carried it for me!! im glad i read it since its such an insanely different version of arthurian stuff and i never would’ve imagined having arthur as a tech ceo so it was definitely a fun read even if it’s not like. the most incredible literature

How did you get the idea to make the devilburgers au? Like why the burger/fast food business? And how did you come up with the name?

I’m glad you’re enjoying the art! Haha the origin of the Devilsburger AU happened because while I was having fun drawing the Plantagenet dramas, I had the funny image of all of them in the Burger King drive-thru. It was funny to me because the mundanity of modern American Fast Food and culture makes for a great contrast between royal French-medieval pomp.

Why “Devilsburgers?”

I came up with “Devilsburger” because I initially made it ‘Burger king AU’ because I wanted to move away from using the trademarked Real Company lol (even though I think it’s funnier that way) and also so I could have more freedom to work with it. I used Devil bc of the famous Angevin Devil Ancestress story, and because it sounds cute and provocative… i need to finish designing the logo I came up with for it. Since its an American AU and us Americans love our stupid logos and BORGER it seemed really fitting and a lot of opportunities to have fun with. (I kind of have been thinking of the Devilsburger maybe being a teensy bit fancier than a Burger King though simply so that they can have Cooler Burgers but you can imagine what you like)

I initially was joking around making a play on how the show “The Devil’s Crown” but instead calling it “The Devil’s Burger” but then that kind of just turned into “Devilsburger” which sounds fun and easy to me.

Thematic/ Structural Thoughts

I love the 12th century Angevin Medieval Drama because on one hand it reflects an extremely alien culture and social approach to beliefs and life, but on the other, there’s a lot of elements that feel very familiar. Stories about heterosexual-patriarchal familial discontent, either comedic or dramatic, are very popular and long-lasting for a reason and I think even in the modern day, from the wealthiest to the poorest, that structure is still something that binds us, affecting the expectations and relationships we have between our siblings, parents and romantic partners. So it becomes very easy to reimagine characters loosely into modern family “roles,” since even though the situations and stakes are very different, a lot of the base emotions I think are eternal and map over pretty well. Jealousy, selfishness, loneliness, longing for affection, doing goofy things for attention….these are all eternal things, even if how they get expressed differs over time.

There are some things that DON’T map onto the AU very well at all from the medieval era, which is interesting to poke around with; the main thing being the modern style of nuclear family with smaller number of kids, women having a LOT more rights and mobility (even in toxic or coercive relationships). There is also the system of suzerain/vassalage and homage that I GUESS can fit vaguely into like corporate boss/employee loyalty relationship style stuff, but in a more individualistic modern culture it doesn’t really have the same ring to it. Modern society is not perfectly egalitarian By any means, but there’s an expectation and ideal of it today that people like to either strive for or Pretend Like They’re Striving For definitely did not exist then. (Hence why for me, my Burger Henry is definitely Trying to Look good in a specific way…)

Conclusion

That being said, this is all mostly for fun and sexytimes more than being like, a Deep Cultural Thesis haha. I think that kind of common story tropes and structures make things very fun to play around with because there’s already lots of expectations for how types of characters will act and behave and relate to each other.

I play pretty fast and loose with a lot of things, and in various ways my ideas have kind of moved away from maybe the original Historical Reinterpretation stuff, but in the end I like having a good sense of what I want characters to “feel” like that I really hope comes across well even in the short bits of comics and pics I’ve posted here…

Can I come and tell you my deepest pain?

We should have had Morzan alive. I mean yeah, it would fuck up the whole narrative but imagine Murtagh being afraid of his father. He hates the king but fears his father.

Imagine him and Thorn; Morzan sees them, and he has problems with booze in canon, just how drunk he'd have gotten after Thorn learned to talk? There he is with his nameless dragon, half of his heart and soul, that he had to watch descend into stupidity. (Does he have its name written up here and there, does he watch it every day just to think about how he could make it real again?) Would he dream of killing his son and taking his dragon to himself? Would he want that even though he despises that sick joke of a connection that is in between Galbatorix and Shruikan?

And then Galbatorix finally discovers the name of the names. How would he beg for the king to use it to heal his companion?

Also, it would be very funny to watch our main characters run for their lives with an angry dragon after them, but y'know.

Should I write a fic about this

Oh you absolutely should write a fic about this (and let me know when you do! I’d love to read it!), and I should go back through my WIPs to find my time travel AUs…

I usually write more about Selena than Morzan, but I do love the idea of getting to see grown-up Murtagh’s reaction to seeing his father, especially in a context where Murtagh has lived without him for a while—whether that’s because Brom didn’t kill Morzan and Selena got both her sons to Carvahall, or because resurrection or time travel shenanigans happened.

As for Morzan still being around when Murtagh gets captured… I think there’s a 50/50 chance he gets Real Weird about the torture, in a “I was pretty sure up to this point that I didn’t actually care about my son but now my best friend is torturing My Son and I don’t like it actually” way, and I think that would be really fun to explore; I think, also, that when Thorn hatches and Galbatorix prematurely increases his size, Morzan would again be Real Weird about it because, like, that’s a baby dragon the size of an adult. He hasn’t lost his name, he just hasn’t really developed one yet; he’s a weird, warped mirror of Morzan’s own dragon. And when Thorn does, eventually, with difficulty, start to ‘grow up’, Morzan’s probably going to get twitchy about it—it’s been at least a century, more than two thirds of his lifespan, since he’s even MET a somewhat psychologically stable dragon; how much has he forgotten of their true intelligence, their real personalities? And when Galbatorix does find The Word, if Morzan asks him to heal his own dragon… honestly I don’t know if Galbatorix would be able to. Having power and knowing how to use it are two different things, we saw Murtagh figure that out in his own book with The Word. Would the king even know where to start? Would he allow Morzan to try for himself? Morzan probably wouldn’t have a clue where to begin, all we ever hear about him from people who’d met him is that he’s a powerful spellcaster, but not a very clever one.

Honestly, the whole situation might drive Morzan to split from Galbatorix; and even if not, it would still probably drive Morzan to be extremely destructive, to himself and everyone around him.

Also he’d be so pissed to learn about Eragon’s true parentage. Not even in a “my wife cheated on me?!” way but in a “oh my god can Brom stop being SO OBSESSED with me for FIVE MINUTES” kind of way.

Okay, I’m back.

I’m always a-okay with whatever fan things anyone wants to create with inspiration from something I made or helped make. As long as it isn’t containing some stamp that says “this I deem canon” when neither me (nor my partner) deemed it canon, no one ever has to worry with me getting upset over some story/comic/art.

I’m going to give some thoughts and I want to disclaimer.

When I discuss my thoughts on your POV of events in the AU, I will never, in any way, intend to diss or attack the story. I think the flow was excellent and Raph’s analysis of the events occurring was intriguing. I loved it! And nothing I say will be a statement otherwise.

But, since I have a distinct inability to keep my mouth shut when it comes to turtles and you asked, I have thoughts 🧐

My brain is now turning and ya’ll have to deal.

Characterization:

Donnie: Much distrust. Much sass. A strong sense of duty to defend his brethren turtles who don’t deserve it but he’s doing it anyway.

Very on point. Much approval 👌

Mikey: Could not be more perfect. I love him. Sweet soul ✨

Leo: He’s a bit less… Forceful. Cold and calculating. Than I envision.

I’d imagine that he had to learn to shut feelings down in order to survive. Fidgeting/smiling/visibly hesitating is out of the question. Staying in Shredder’s graces meant learning to play the game. His silence is what earns Raph the ability to be loud. The only times that he’s himself is when him and Raph are alone, outside of the sight of cameras, or when someone in is danger and fear/fury overwhelms all else. He seems bland to outsiders and it takes the Hamato brothers a while to see that that he’s just a scared little boi at heart that’s just trying his best in a cruel world.

He’s also set in his beliefs, so he’s going to assume that they’re being tormented mentally, if not physically. There’s no place in his mind that wonders if they were actually safer elsewhere.

I do like your POV, though. Plenty for me to play with.

Raph:

He’s ABSOLUTELY the first to question the differences between how Shredder treats them and how Splinter treats their brothers. He doesn’t jump the gun, but as devoted as he is, he’s never really liked Shredder. I love the implications that he’s been filing away concerns subconsciously and his brain keeps poking him like “HELLO?!”

He’s very deep. I can’t decide how I feel about that 🤔

Shredder would have wanted to fan that temper into something unforgiving and vile. Or course, that doesn’t mean he stops being a sensitive soul. It could… Have something to do with Shredder manipulating him into being angry when he wills it (basically all the time) and solemn and still when he doesn’t (such as during lectures, punishments, etc).

His brain registers this situation as one where he’s not meant to be loud and angry, and so he’s kinda… Shut down. Sassy, but mellow. Processing. Adapting. Letting what happens happen because he’s not meant to stop it.

It’s a reason that Leo gets so defensive when punishments come into play. It forces Raph to feel small. It make him vulnerable.

Anyway, commentary:

It’s like Space Heroes. He claims so and YET he read, recalls, AND clearly has DEBATED the passage so I call sus vibes.

I get giddy when I think of Takeō discovering Space Heroes-

“Junkō and Kōta— or Donnie and Mikey, whatever false name they’d been given—”

My brain made connections. I don’t know if it was intended, but I always believe that they knew them by Shredder’s names through the beginning of season one, end of season one/beginning of season two they were associating them as both, and then by the time that the City is under attack, they’ve adapted to using their real names. (But the Saki brothers still keep their Foot names.)

So, now I assume this is somewhere in that middle plot.

Fun little Easter egg~

“Takeō and Akihitō were the offense, and Donnie and Mikey were the defense” “They held their own. In fact, they dominated.”

I’m in love with Raph’s simple acknowledgment of their roles in battle. It’s a very practical outline of exactly how their dynamic on the field plays out and he's so certain of his place.

On the other hand, I’m a bit uncertain about whether they’d dominate. I do believe that they are trained and can hold their own, but I don’t know about them being as impressive as Raph&Leo, simply because Splinter trained them to defend and Shredder trained them to kill. The Hamato brothers haven’t had much time to practice in the offensive, especially since that’s Leo&Raph’s job. (In non-AU canon, they are all offensive/defensive.)

I think Mikey might learn that kinda strength at the farmhouse after being taught by Leo&Raph, and Donnie will step back from that, finally finding his place not as a fighter/leader, but as a scientist.

Definitely an interesting take, tho 🤔

100% behind Raph learning to butt in when Leo tries to take the fall as they get older and punishments get worse.

Takeō and him are tied to the ground, trying to convince these two strangers that they would be safe with them. That their clan would not hurt them while that same clan was just about ready to beat them to a pulp.”

I was thinking the same thing 🤣

Leo, dude, seriously. Look around. Think for a second. You are not selling your point. You are doing the opposite.

In the end, it doesn’t even matter. Sensei will always find them no matter where they run. It was better to follow than be chased.

Absolutely how they view things. Mikey doesn’t care what they think or do as long as no one he cares about is paying the price. Donnie feels it is a manner of principle that they accept logic and truth.

Leo talking over both of them is valid. This kid, I swear.

LEO IS IT OFFICIAL YOU HAVE BEEN DISOWNED

“Sounds like a you-problem.” Donnie stands. “Mikey, we saved them. It's time to go.”

A hand lands on his shoulder, and he recognizes it. Takeō always knows when to give support. He’s a good brother. He hopes Donnie and Mikey will know that one day too.

Hello bloom into you fandom; today i bring a silly mlp au, tomorrow? Who knows (just kidding, i know and its doujima and akari)

Anyways behold! Yuu and touko! I made yuu a changeling because i find the idea of her being a creature that can change shape into whatever she wants but feels like she cant actually change fitting for her character, as well as the whole eating love aspect (but kind of different for the sake of this au hdkfuei). The love eating aspect is more like a healing thing shown physically, like how thorax’s wings got shinier as he shared love; so when she finally realizes shes in love with touko she metamorphosizes but is upset about this because nows shes changed in a way she cant hide. Also idk how changelings would work exactly in this world but I’m figuring it as sort of taboo to show you’re a changeling so its more “appropriate” to hide it until you’re close enough with them (something something coming out metaphor). Also shes a blank flank because shes indecisive as hell so she just uses the excuse of being a late bloomer. Overall shes a changeling because i feel like theres a lot of fun to be had with parallels to how changelings work and how she is as a character lol.

On to touko! Shes an extremely talented unicorn with a high magical prowess and intelligence (exactly like she is in show but now with magic too). Unlike yuu shes an actual late bloomer, which is something she pretends to not care about/use as a way to motivate her actions (sisters death still happens, she got her cutie mark before a lot of her classmates so she feels even more pressure to measure up to her). When she finds out about yuus love situation and her same struggle with her cutiemark, she immediately falls head over hooves. She eventually does get her cutie mark and its only after the play, much to her delight and upset as she thinks of how much time she wasted trying every other way to get her cutie mark (tried doing what her sister was best at, only got it when it was something she enjoyed doing). How I feel about this character

Uhh....I will link [here] for a much longer answer on how I feel about that man and my answer later down the line, but he is a ragged chew toy to me. He's genuinely such a good microcosm of the role of "privileged" psykers in the Imperium and all the identity issues that come with that and also the inherent cross-purposes between the State Power of the Inquisition and the Frontier Authority of Rogue Traders. And I say this as an expression of love: I want him to fuck off and out of the airlock.

Heinrix and Abelard are a fun duo. I'm a firm believer that Heinrix is only maybe behind Abelard by a few decades at most. They have the kind of energy that says they've both been found sleeping with their arms crossed in front of the Cogitators while watching the Space!Blood Bowl.

Heinrix and Jae can hang as well but only when he's chill and not being a cop about it. I honestly would love to hear them talk religion. He needs some of her "chill out about The Exalted One" energy.

My unpopular opinion about this character

Okay, I've spent too long on this answer so, linked post for more controversial thoughts but the current Bugbear chewing on my mind is that I feel like the fandom kind of treats him being in the Ordo Xenos as just like...a job that has no bearing on his character outside that he's a workaholic about it. And that does so much disservice to the analysis of his character as an institution man™.

Like we cannot discuss Heinrix's Mercy path and inner iconoclast core without acknowledging that his development there is intimately tied to his struggles as a psyker within the framework of the Imperium's Dogma. Which, if he was a member of the Ordo Hereticus or Malleus, would be smooth sailing. But he's Ordo Xenos, which notably has not much to do with his issues as a psyker. Plus, Aeldari are people too, and the narrative I feel is pretty intentional with showing how Heinrix's xenophobia is more often than not wrong. And not even to say "Aeldari are always right" but rather Heinrix follows a pattern emblematic of the Imperium's xenos policy that values short-sighted blanket mistrust and paranoia of slights real and imagined, that often agitates and makes situations worse especially when it comes to harms ultimately originating with other humans. And so you can't discuss the ways Heinrix shows or feels mercy towards someone like Emelina, without discussing the people he actively chooses to not to extend those feelings towards. And I feel like that gets swept under the rug because a lot of the notable incidents involve Marazhai the Instigator and Yrliet, the local Bitch Eating Crackers, and so for reasons fair and not, a lot of the fandom is predisposed to seeing them as unreliable or deserving of ill treatment for their behavior in ways that don't get applied to the humans.

And honestly, if I had the time to soapbox about it I'd argue that the issues of Heinrix's job-dependence, impotent anger at his circumstances, and self-loathing are all things that make him a perfect match for the Ordo Xenos because it allows him to channel those feelings onto creatures and populations* that Dogma has taught him are unambiguously good to harm! That's intrinsic to the character to me tbh.

*Creatures and populations here acknowledging that not all xenos are "people" in the way that can be reasoned with but Aeldari are and that's who the game deals with.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

On the silly side: DLC where if you follow Heinrix's advice on how to handle the Drukhari, the Ordo Malleus shows up to try to beat your/Heinrix's ass. Genuinely they are having such a bad couple of months/years on a Dogmatic Rogue Trader run lmao.

On the serious side: Okay I'm conflicted about this because Heinrix xenophobia is such a core part of his character but also I do wish, especially if you romance him, the game acknowledged how out of pocket he gets if you keep the xenos? Because he absolutely is overstepping both your rights as Rogue Trader and Calcazar's orders to let you be. Like, if you decide to keep Marazhai, as is your God-Emperor-given right, he will use words with you that cannot be found in the Lectitio Divinitatus, but outside telling him "no" in the moment you never really get to address his behavior. I've said it in the past in another post but the fact that romanced!Heinrix will apologize to you for having sex but not for repeatedly undermining your orders...in front of your retinue and crew....insane man. Owlcat let me shake him.

Why I like them:

Daniela is the baby of the family and it shows because she's such a brat who doesn't listen to anything or anyone she has no problems arguing with Bela right in front of their mother because she knows that Alcina is not going to say anything about it. She's also different from her sisters and I think this is really what gives her that distinctive personality and you can't just not love that, you know? Like, the girls are vicious hunters and Daniela especially has little impulse control (slashing that maid's face with a knife just because) but she's actually more tame and the weakest hunter out of the three. She has her own hobbies, she'd much rather be reading or looking after her flowers (she takes that very seriously) than go out and hunt. It made her weaker, which is why Alcina locked her up in the library to protect her because while she dotes on her youngest, she knows when things are about to get serious and that's when mama gets all protective. Cassandra- I love how fucking dramatic she is???? Waving that handkerchief is what did it for me I just knew this one is different and I was right. She's a brat, but unlike Daniela she doesn't keep to herself. Bela is appalled by the mess Cassandra caused in the cellars because this is just her brand. Chasing Ethan around going all "rawr" and literally just messing with him? Pure gold. I also live how her dramatic ass makes her flies scream when her mother is nearby just so that Alcina can make an entrance. You can easily tell she's a handful and the fact that their mother chose her to team up with tells you a lot. Alcina literally just lets her play and have fun, but she gets all serious and scolds her when it's needed. Idk but honestly Cassandra is the one who's closest to Alcina and she lives for the drama.

1- She loves her sisters!! She argues with them a lot, and she always feels like they don't take her seriously but she cannot imagine living without them. 2- Despite her personality, she actually doesn't like anything related to horror and gets scared easily. 3- She has an innocent mindset. She doesn't always assume the worst about people, often taking their word at face value which can end her in bad situations because she does fall for these things (its also because she's eager to help) 4- She admires her mother greatly, hoping that one day she can grow up and be just as pretty. 5- She loves pranks and practical jokes! She pulls them on anybody, doesn't matter if its a family member or a staff member. Bored Daniela is going to have her fun one way or another.

Cassandra:

1- She loves souvenirs! Like whether in game or any AU, she's the one who just loves to have a reminder. In the game she literally says that, and she often keeps hair and nails of her victims because hey why not, you know? I think she'd be the same in modern AU like any place they visit Cass is the one raiding these souvenir shops buying heaps of things she doesn't really need. 2- Cassandra is sensitive! And ironically, she's the one who is more guarded (esp with her feelings) so it's not easy to tell. But those who really know her know exactly her fragile her emotions are. 3- She is possessive. What's hers is hers and girlie doesn't like to share anything. 4- She gives off left-handed energy so I will confidently say that she's left handed. 5- She is a big introvert!! She prefers keeping to herself and recharging her social battery at home as opposed to being out all the time. Despite her wild chaotic energy, Cassandra needs her quiet time to find her balance again.

Unpopular opinion:

Daniela actually has more self preservation instincts than her sisters. She's the only sister who runs into hiding when the window is open because she knows she can't fight like that. So she does the right thing (unlike her sisters who just charge in not caring that they're freezing to death) So I really think she's the more sensible one who actually thinks before acting. Cassandra: She-- How do I say this, she enjoys being part of a family? With her especially, she's never alone. Alcina is literally with her, and she talks about calling Bela and she even call out to her sisters. I think this goes back to her being more sensitive which means she's more emotional than the others and really holds her family dear. She's always talking about them and being with them. She literally was never alone during the castle section like Alcina knows which daughter constantly needs her presence and we can all see that. It's just that Cassandra is actually a huge family person but she's good at hiding so only her mom and sisters know about it.

i know its not a helpful answer, but i genuinely believe that theres no wrong way to feel closer to your f/o(s) , so you should do whatever you feel is right! ..especially since everyone is different and has their own ideas on what feels right, and what works! so..

i can only give my own personal experiences, but im sure others can give their methods too! ->

something pretty specific i do is take a plush of my f/o with me when i go out, and take photos so i can put them in my scrapbook! its fun picking up pamphlets and keeping tickets n whatnot when travelling to document our adventures together. in my brain, its like.. its nice to have something between us that isnt online, yknow? even just travelling together and taking photos is really fun ^^ doesnt have to be a plush tho, could be any merch or even a printout or something :b

wearing stuff that reminds u of ur f/o is another one i like !! i like to buy rings, necklaces, earrings, etc. that remind me of my f/o so i can wear it and have a piece of them with me! could work for articles of clothing too, or you could make your own stuff! like ive made kandi bracelets with my f/os name and related words on haha but it doesnt have to be directly related to your f/o as long as it reminds you of them!

another thing i like to do is play games as my f/o? like.. if it has a character creator then i can try and make them ofc, otherwise just the case of "what decisions would my f/o make" or imagine it as an AU where we're in this other world having an adventure together.. AUs in general are just super fun imo, even if its just a "what if" or roleswap, finding ways to be together in different situations can make you think about how you work together n stuff!

im kinda just listing off stuff i do. i like collecting screenshots of my f/o in their source and making colleges, or drawing over them with lots of cute stickers and hearts using photo editting apps :] teaching yourself new skills for them is fun too? im slowly getting more into website building so i can make a neocities shrine for my f/o LOL

Okay I know nothing about trigun or your OCs but I do know the feeling of “I wanna talk about (thing I’m excited about) but I feel annoying”, so… consider this an official question about that!

This is your official recommendation to read the original trigun and trimax manga because it's my faaaavourite of the three versions of the story[so far, we'll see how Stampede goes!]

As for inspiration I've always kind of enjoyed media by imagining what if scenarios, i was a massive daydreamer as a kid [can anyone say diagnosed autism add?? cause i can!]

what if x happened to y, how would they act in this situation, how would they act with this OTHER character. I of course became obsessed with fanfiction as a teenager

Eventually when I started writing and drawing my own creations I started daydreaming about them instead for the most part, but when i fixate on a piece of media I like to mix them up. It's fun to think about how your favourite character from a show, book or game might feel about the characters you create for yourself!

Trigun has a really great setting to play with, it's a space western! It's got dramatic highs and lows, incredible action scenes and really fun sci-fi world building. I wanted to see how my characters, who are based in a modern fantasy story in my own writing, would turn out in a different genre!

I think it can be a really fun and fulfilling exercise to do crossover aus for your ocs, how much of the setting affects your character? Can you keep them recognizable as themself or are they so tied to the story they're in that putting them in a different world makes them fundamentally different?

I've just really enjoyed taking the world building of trigun and running with it. Both it's lore and its themes really appeal to me

My favourite part so far has just been designing the city the au takes place in. I am also looking exploring the disaster that strikes it.

When putting your characters into AUs, what’s the process you use to go about it? How do you transfer your characters to different worlds? Whats some of your fav types of AUs to work on? Whats your most indulgent/fun AU 👀 ?

i love OC AUs soooo much thank you everypony for talking to me about OC AUs because. augh. i just love them. i just do. i have dozens of them for a reason!! it is my unending love for them

when I work on AUs, something I always keep in mind is why I'm making an alt universe instead of working it into canon or just making a completely new OC! i want to see That Specific Character under different circumstances and I want to see how similar/different they areeeee.... I always try to keep in mind what narrative themes and visuals will remain the same throughout AUs. What makes this character THIS CHARACTER is my favorite part of asking AU questions!!

i really love working on a variety of AUs, but I think ones that involve a canon divergence have to be some of my favorites! The Etcetera/Caius role-swap, the Auï Aviary Leader AU, and more dramatic splits into BFCAU and Together At Last where I can put characters together that wouldn't be- how different would Goat be if he was raised by Runo? What if Maiceo and Georgiana got to experience cohabitation? What foundation would Ruse and Esperanza's relationship have if they weren't in their hyperspecific situation?

just asking a bunch of questions :3 DESIGNING AUs is also extremely fun to me, I honestly cant think of a concrete way I do things, it all depends on the character and their new circumstances and what is important to them! MLP AUs and mermaid AUs are my favorite to design, as well as reversing humans into furries or furries into humans!! i just find such joy in purely design AUs, but they often turn into story AUs which is so fucking awesome

this is the AU i talked a bit about in my tags a few days ago, the AU where Auï kills Rlioch in the Aviary! its out of "self-defense", its impulsive and quick and brutal, and it ruins Auï's head beyond repair. he is not prepared to lose Rlioch, someone he is not even prepared to lose in canon at this moment- he was not prepared to take care of himself at this point of time either, and now he feels this responsibly to take care of the commune since he disposed of the leader. running away is far from the first thing on his mind, he's so tangled up in grief and intense guilt and honest-to-god euphoria he quickly dissolves into this complete mess. like probably shit i can't type out but he gets so bad guys he gets so sick. not even Turrie can do anything, their relationship gets sooo twisted its fun to imagine but i also start writhing around i think this Auï only ends up living for a few more years, since his wings will eventually end up seizing up his back. this is why he had them removed in Canon- they're literally pulling his upper spine out of him!! very slow very painful death. eeeee. in Canon, Auï was at that point where he couldn't walk for every long- this is why he collapses after running in AINTR. he can't stand long enough to even shower for a long time after his surgery, but in this AU you can only imagine

Together For Once has soooo quickly become one of my favorite AUs, because its half a design AU where i get to just play around with human designs, and then half just a feel good yayy yayyyy !!! yay i love when people get to be friends. i keep separating them.

ALSO its my little silly Earth Place?? i dont have...ANY stories that take place on Normal Earth. i haven't had a story that took place on Normal Earth in at least 10 years?? Beings is Earth, but its post-apoc and fucked up. what if i want my guys to like the musical artists I like. what if i want to say Magic works at BLICK Art Supplies. what if i want them to partake in my local festivities...what if i want to send Georgiana to camp at the Grand Canyon?? so much could happen

if i could i'd be talking about the mermaid AU. does this AU have plot.....not really........i play and i have fun........... the designs are so much fun to be designing, this AU always gets me through finals season (since its in Mermay) and i always seem to draw it a lot over the summer! just make your OCs into mermaids and make your own personal mermaid lore. do it. its so fun. my lore is that they're all cool and fishy and they can turn into little guys on land because i watched so much H20 JUST ADD WATER as a youth.

dont even get me fucking started on bfc AU i already talked a lot about it but i love it...i love hanging out in my friends world!! @/arborescreens n @/krembearry thank you for all the antics for all the silliness and letting my characters be together after i have enacted such cruelty upon them...another one i like playing with human designs, although there's a fantasy element!! this au got so big so fast, and im having the bestest time just thinking about them in their silly little plotlines in this beloved friend-story

7. Is there a piece of clothing you think [character] is particularly fond of/that you imagine them wearing a lot or like to draw them in?

In terms of drawing, I've drawn Paul in his Destroyer costume most often, because it's really easy to draw, and he looks hot in it. But he looks hot in anything so....

When I was writing Let Me Know, that was hard because when I described Paul as dressing like a rock star, I was envisioning 80s or 90s, ripped jeans, leather jackets, band ts, that sort of thing. I knew a bit about girls clothes in the late 60s, but not a lot about guys, so when I googled it, it was a bit of a shock, and I still struggle to picture him at that time.

12. What's the funniest or craziest AU idea you've ever come up with?

I don't really do AUs like putting them in completely different worlds/situations, so the most AU I get it using stories not from Kisstory. Take It Off is one of those, that scenario with Paul stripping is completely made up, although we all would love to see it I know. It was fun to write and picture him like that.

Okay, this is pretty new, so is most likely not in it's final form. One of my very first stories is called I'm Watching Over You, its the story of the morning after the drunken Hotter Than Hell photo shoot. This one has the working title I'm Watching Over You - The Night Before

Paul grabbed another drink.  A hand rested on his arm.  Gene.

“How much have you had?”

Paul shrugged.

“Paul.”

“What?  I’m a rock thtar, ‘member.  Thith ith wha’ Im meana do.” He swaggered off towards a couple of girls.

But Gene had already seen.

“Get off him!”

Gene in full demon mode made an impressive sight, bearing down, shoving the would-be rapists aside.
