heads up: somewhat of a silly little sequel to this drabble

it's silly. jisung's laughing at something changbin said, hand smacking against chris's side as he leans into him, when he hears your laughter. and he's used to that sound: he thinks its cute, even when you struggle to think the same of it. but all it takes is the sound of you snorting once for him to get yanked right back to reality, looking at the pure joy on your face. you're flustered and he knows it (he's heard you whine to some of the crew before about how embarrassing it is that you snort when you laugh hard enough)... but he just finds the sound cute.

and it's minho who approaches him when he's refilling his drink. "you're still obvious," he says, ice cracking in his plastic cup as he dumps some unholy concoction of juice and several kinds of alcohol into it. "should have asked them out for you during mic check like i said i would."

he's glad minho didn't, though. he'll ask you out properly when he offers to walk you to the bus stop, just like he planned now that the show is over. he just needs a little more time... and to maybe hear that laugh one more time. just to fall in love with the sound again.
