2025 reviews part: Leda and Cygnus are some presumable number of years old as of the current story.

How many? Don't know they seem to have perfected anti aging. Honestly obsessed with this week's previews. Also i'll be continuing the suggestion drawings tomorrow, i'm just trying to finish school work for tomorrow night so that i have more time at the weekend (I get Fridays off now). onto my thoughts.

In Your Eyes (Remix): I love how confident Leda is here. Also the young Mihaly in the back, Also Cygnus with Short hair. I don't really like The Weeknd but this is a really cool map, like Leda's owning it here. If only she didn't turn evil. I mean i love all of Night swan/Leda's maps so no surprise that i would like this one as well.

Padam Padam: This one looks like its going to be sore. Fast and flows really well. Its nice to see that we might get Kylie minogue songs more regularly now. I really want them to do the Robbie Williams song she was featured on, Kids, like i think that would make a good map.

My Heart Will Go On: Completely unexpected and I love this one so much. Like they went full couples karaoke and brought all the cheesiness with it. Its going to suck doing this one solo because it would be so good to do with another person. I hope that it ends with them doing the pose from titanic. It'd be really funny if they straight up name these two Jack and Rose. Can we get more maps like this where its just karaoke. Like the performers seem to have gotten really into it which just adds to why i like it.

Dubidubidu: Is Kitta a mother now? also i found out this song is from 2003 and not this year so theres that. Like Padam Padam this one looks really fast, but also really fun at the same time. Honestly the song is catchy, and i watch those block breaking videos that use it allthe way through just to hear it some times.

Pink Venom (Extreme): I don't really think Pink venom needed an extreme, the song isn't that high energy, and when i saw a clip of the official choreography i was like, yeah the classic seems like enough. Because even that clip of the official choreo i saw wasn't that hard, unless it gets harder.

2 Pink Venom Extreme

So how old are The Traveller, Night Swan and Cygnus currently. Like they have to be at least in their late 40s to early 50s. Like Night Swan And the traveller both have adult children who are presumably in their early to mid 20s. Then Cygnus, who i sorta assumed was quite old already (because he has been said to have built that city), but he still looks young in beggin.

Now we've seen a young Jack and Mihaly, so i'm assuming we'll see a young Wanderlust and Brezziana at some point. They should show more coaches when they were younger like Beedabop as a computer chip, The I will Survive coach when they were alive (being alive is technically younger than being dead), Kapyy as a five year old eating crayons, the list is endless

We are now officially two weeks (well one week and six days) from the release date, which feels so weird because i'm pretty sure this is the earliest a game in the series has come out. Its also weird that its October now like wasn't it just August yesterday? I'm annoyed that the update yesterday removed the "opus" sorting option and ordered all the plus tracks in the style that unlimited was. I hope for the first season they add opus back, i just preferred seeing it all alphabetically by game. I'm still confused about how back in JD2021 and 2022 they removed default alphabetical sorting.

So my fanart was heavily inspired by @hemlock-dreams for their #hunting!spider AU! specifically the venom stuff. this is the first pieces of fanfiction and fanart I've drawn in years and I'm kinda rusty, they're probably OOC as fuck but I'm happy with them as they are right now. Peter is worn out and probably would have been chattier if he didn't feel as he did with DP. And DP is just happy that Peter is there and not curled up in some shitty warehouse on a cooldown timer. Also I've been terrified to write Deadpool and Spider-Man incase I get the characterisation messed up.

So the art style, drawn characters on a normal screen, my inspo is from this comic on webtoon that updates monthly and it's so freaking cool but I cannot for the life of me find it. It's greyscale drawing and it's this sibling duo, one is mistaken for a guy all the time and theres this rich guy who is being super sneaky and then gets called out on his creepy behavious by the 3 yo brother. Quite funny. Anyway here's the link to the background lol.

“Rena, I am going to kill you!” 

Y/N’s roommate looked up, the fear of Merlin struck into her eyes. The Transfiguration study guide in front of her lay entirely forgotten as she watched her friend slam the door and flop on the bed. “Oh?”

Y/N flung off her robe and tossed it on the floor. “When were you gonna tell me that you talked to Malfoy about me?” 

Her roommate narrowed her eyes, leaning forward in her chair and propping her chin up on her hand. “What are you talking about? He approached me and asked if you knew what the mirror was. I said you did. That was it.”

The venom seeped out of Y/N’s expression as the realization crept in.

“Oh. Oh, Rena, I’m sorry. I had no idea. He told me that you told him ‘everything’.”

“And you took a Slytherin’s word? Malfoy’s word? Honestly, Y/N, you give me a headache.” Rena sent a gentle smile her way. “What happened? Did you tell him?”

A sour feeling crept into Y/N’s chest as the memory she had suppressed on the walk to her dorm surfaced like bile in her throat. The rest of their shift was tense at best and downright agonizing at worst. Malfoy was uncharacteristically quiet, wringing his hands over and over again and scratching the back of his neck when he exhausted his wrists. Y/N knew that she was bright red by the time that they said their goodbyes--which really wasn’t much of a goodbye, just an uncomfortable nod before they parted ways to their respective dormitories--and cursed the fact that their ending spot was right under a torch. 

She would much rather prefer him to just straight up tell her he wasn’t into her; however, she supposed he technically did, that week or so ago in the Great Hall when he had told her he wasn’t into Ravenclaws.

Maybe I’m the one that needs to pull back. Maybe I’m actually the git in this situation and I’m making Malfoy feel uncomfortable.

“Yeah. I did.”

“And?”

“That’s it. He doesn’t feel the same way.” The words left her mouth feeling like heavy lead, weighing her breath down.

Rena stood up from her chair, her face softening. “He said that?”

“He didn’t say anything, really.”

“Well that doesn’t mean he doesn’t feel the same way,” said her roommate. Her voice was painfully cheerful for Y/N. “Maybe he’s just nervous.”

Y/N offered a weak smile as she pulled her hair out of her ponytail and got up to rifle through her drawers to find something to sleep in. “It’s over, Rena. I don’t know why I’ve entertained this for so long. It wasn’t even a thing to begin with. I just want to go to bed.”

“All I’m saying is that he’s Malfoy, Y/N. I’ve literally never seen him flirt before in his life. I don’t think he knows how. Maybe he’s just being mean because he doesn’t know any other way?”

“I think I just want to stop thinking about it.” Y/N began changing into her nightclothes quickly with her back to Rena. “I want to go to bed and forgot about it and get my O on the Transfiguration exam tomorrow and just never think about rich daddy’s boys again. No matter how cute they look!”

Y/N tossed her old robes in her hamper, turning to Rena one more time with a blazing expression on her face that said I dare you to disagree.

“All I’m saying,” Rena said slowly, “Is that Malfoy didn’t seem like a total rat when he came up and asked me about you. It just seems strange that he would do that if he had no interest in you.”

“The only interest he has is in antagonizing me,” Y/N snapped. “He’s a class A git and I hate him.”

Rena raised an eyebrow, her expression slightly amused. “Whatever you say, Y/N. We can talk tomorrow morning. I think you need some sleep.”

Y/N’s dreams were torturous--just a loop, replaying over and over again, of her interactions with a certain Slytherin. She was dragged through her memories against her will, feeling the initial admiration of seeing him read in the courtyard for the first time, crumbling under the anxiety of their shift assignments, suffocating through the tension of their final meeting, reeling at the way his hair looked under the torch lights…

It was too much. She awoke with a pounding headache and a throat so sore that she may as well have swallowed a healthy spoonful of fire over the night. Her eyes hurt to open, like the edges of her eyelids had been lined with Dittany. 

“Merlin, Y/N, you look like shit.” A voice that sounded suspiciously like her roommate wafted from her right side, but she couldn’t be sure. “I’ve gotta get you to Madame Pomfrey.”

“Rena?” 

“Y/N?” 

If she hadn’t felt like she was toeing the line between the dead and the living she would’ve been sure that the tone in her roommate’s voice was tinged with amusement. She tried to croak something more out.

“Don’t worry, Y/N,” Rena cut in before she could try any harder. “I’ll be back in just a minute. Don’t try and get up, alright? You need your strength.”

Y/N nodded--or at least, she tried--and turned back into her pillow to sleep. A part of her mind registered that she had a Transfiguration exam today and then rounds that night with Malfoy, but as a cold bead of sweat ran down her spine, the thoughts were pushed to the back of her mind. He could wait. He’d already taken up her entire night by filling her dreams and she was not eager to see him again any time soon.

“Y/N?” The door creaked open and her roommate’s voice dragged her back to lucidity. “Hi girly. Can you walk?”

Y/N forced her eyes open and winced at the light filtering through the curtains. It was hardly light out, but the weak morning light sent pangs through her head. The heavy quilt that she had been burrowed under was lifted up off of her...and the shivers started.

Her entire body began shaking, her teeth clattering together so hard that she was afraid she would break them. She wondered if anyone had ever chipped their teeth from fever chills.

“Just swing your legs around the edge...yes, just like that…”

Rena’s hands held her shoulders with a firm grip as she shakily made her way to her feet, swaying slightly. 

“Fuck, Y/N, you’re absolutely shaking…”

“Mmmhmmm” was all Y/N had the sense to use as a reply.

“All you need to do is make it down the stairs. I can put you in a wheelchair and push you the rest of the way.”

“Love you,” Y/N mumbled as her friend guided her down the stairs. Even though she’d been walking up the stairs to her dorm for years, everything felt oddly foreign to her through her feverish haze.

“Love you t--whoa! Easy.” Rena caught Y/N from near demise as she almost missed a stair. “You’re almost there, doll. Just hold on a bit more.”

“I need you to....” find someone to cover my rounds tonight she tried to say, but the words caught on what felt like daggers in her throat as she felt the wall. 

“Focus on getting down the stairs,” Rena interrupted. “You can tell me once we’re on the way to Pomfrey’s.”

Finally, she made it down onto the last step and allowed herself to be guided into a seat. Exhausted from her trip, she slumped back in the chair and forgot about her request as she drifted back off into her feverish dreams.

This time, they were different. Instead of interactions that had actually happened, her brain took her through a different whirlwind of events. A flurry of sensations met her--a thumb dragging across her slightly parted lips, a chaste kiss placed on her neck, a hand softly squeezing hers, a warm breath fanning across her cheek, a pair of just barely blue eyes staring down at her with so much affection that her heart skipped, a rough hand shaking her shoulder, the sting of something pressing into her wrist (a wand, she thought absently), voices around her calling her name…

Her eyes shot open as she recoiled from a burst of unbearable cold across her chest. The ceiling of the infirmary wing greeted her. Her torso was wet, and once she cast her eyes down to the end of her bed, she could see why.

Madame Pomfrey stood next to Professor Trelawny and Headmaster Dumbledore, brandishing an empty bucket in her hand. 

“Thank goodness! She’s awake!”

Pomfrey sent Trelawny an irritated look as she rushed forth, muttering incantations and running diagnostic tests on Y/N’s body. 

“What...what happened?” she managed, trying to sit up.

“Stay down,” Pomfry commanded, turning to her nightstand to mix a concoction of various potion ingredients. 

“I just had the flu.”

Trelawny moved to the side of the bed to clasp her hand firmly in hers, a kind look in her loony eyes. “Miss Y/L/N, I’m afraid that wasn’t the case. You had an acute case of Dream Sickness. We’re lucky that you were able to wake up when you did. You’re even luckier that your roommate noticed and brought you down here.”

Y/N knitted her eyebrows together. “I’m sorry. Dream...what?”

“Dream Sickness,” the headmaster finished. “A very rare affliction that primarily affects the overthinkers in the wizarding community. Naturally, you Ravenclaws are at a higher risk than other students.”

“So who gave it to me?”

“No, dear,” said Trelawny. “It’s not contagious. It can happen to anyone, but it’s more common if you spent time around powerful magical artifacts. Have you?”

Y/N cringed at the thought. 

“Er...yes, I guess I have. I ran into the Mirror of Erised on one of my prefect rounds. I never lingered, though.”

“That would do it,” Dumbledore mused. “The mirror has a tendency of...inflaming emotions. I ought to locate it and put it in a safer place.”

“So I’m okay? I can go back to classes? I have a Transfiguration exam today, and I’d really like it if I could make it.”

“McGonagall’s Transfiguration exam, I presume?” he asked. 

“Yes. It’s later in the afternoon. I promise I’ll be careful!”

The adults beside her shared uncomfortable glances.

“Dear,” Trelawny began, “You’ve been here for two days.” 

The air was sucked out of her lungs as the realization kicked in. “But that’s impossible! I was only sleeping for a little bit. And I had rounds! How did I miss my rounds?”

Pomfrey seemed mildly sympathetic as she emptied the mixture she had been stirring into a crystal goblet and offered it to her. “It’s normal to be disoriented after a bout of Dream Sickness. Professor Flitwick is sure to understand the situation, and if he does not, I am willing to vouch for you. Now drink. You have some recovering to do.”

Rena Severjyn was always the confrontational type. It had been a shock to her as well as her family when she’d been sorted into Ravenclaw (with all the bookworms and the teachers’ pets, as her older brothers said to her) instead of Gryffindor, but she’d grown to love her house. Studying came more naturally than cliff-jumping, or whatever it was that Gryffindors did, but when it came down to it, she had no problem with telling someone off.

So when she ran across a deliciously alone Draco Malfoy reading in the courtyard, she had no trouble walking right up to him.

“Hey, arsehat.” She plopped down next to him as he started, nearly dropping the book on the gravel walkway. “We need to talk.”

“Severjyn,” he greeted, his tone even but his eyes flickering nervously. “Do you know where your roommate is? I had to do my rounds alone last night.”

“She’s in the hospital wing. But no matter. I want to know why you’re being such an intolerable prat to her.”

His mouth opened and closed a few times, clearly trying to cope with the fact that he was at a loss for words.

“Spit it out, Malfoy. I don’t have all day.”

“Is she okay? Did something happen to her?”

Rena rolled her eyes. “No, she just decided to spend more of her time around Pomfrey. Yes, something happened to her. She’ll be fine. You’re not answering my question.”

“I don’t understand.” The crease between his brow deepened with worry.

“She said she told you how she felt and you didn’t say anything about it!”

“I’m sorry. I just got nervous.”

“Are you dense?” Rena’s voice became shriller. “You told me yourself you fancied her, and you can’t even manage a measly ‘me too’? Even though you had the whole of fucking two hours to do it?”

A blush spread across his fair cheeks as he slammed his book closed and stood up. “It’s not that easy. You know it isn’t.”

“It’s never that easy. But she was able to do it, and you even told her that you weren’t into her! Honestly, I cannot believe you.”

“Please just…” Draco evaded eye contact, dropping his eyes to the floor and grinding his toes into the gravel. “Just leave me be. I promise I’ll talk to her once she’s better. Just don’t tell her, okay? I want to do this myself.”

Rena rolled her eyes. “You better.”

hp update: its the beauxbatons special event mon ami! i go back to work tomorrow and i dont want to pack my bag!

thats right, not only have i completed a new chap but ive also done the french special event. i will detail it first. 

so, the french event takes place during year 2, when pennys pen friend aurelie comes to hogwarts with her head mistress from the french magic school to learn consider if she would like to transfer. that would be interesting to see. the books did mention that magic school transfers are at least possible, as draco mentioned once about how he might transfer to durmstrang at one point i believe, but we never see it happen. would they get their own little sorting ceremony?? idk might be fun to explore in fanfiction, take notes children. 

aurelie herself seems p ok. they give her some french affectations in her dialog, and she always calls the school ‘Ogwarts, but her written accent is not as bad as fleurs if i remember correctly. she either has her own unique voice actor or doubles with merula & merulas positive voice noises just happen to sound like RON HON HON but i cant tell for sure. idk about chiara but at least 1 other crypto-friend does not have his own voice actor; talbott shares a voice with barnaby. 

much adieu was made over the fact that hogwarts doesnt teach alchemy which seems like an oversight if the school is really supposed to be so good. much of the plot of the event revolves around looking for flamelian artifacts, but of course none will be found until harrys first year, after the end of this viddo game. 

throughout the whole event and even now that its over there has been a special sale deal for energy and other in-game currency. everytime i look it says there 5 and a half hours left to take advantage and its been 5 days. i managed to complete this even without the use of this bundle or any of my hard-earned gems U__U. 

other notable things would be that we get confirmation that beauxbaton is not an all girls school like it appeared to be in the movie, and we get to see our dear mc do the fancy intro that was in the movie. i cant imagine that is their regular intro for other things or what else you would use it for besides the triwizard tournament but there you go.  

as a reward i have received a powder blue beauxbaton uniform and a little vial thing that gives me an undetermined amount of gems when i click on it every day. very interesting. i very much enjoy the french little witches hat the uniform comes with and have kept the make-up and facial hair on. its starting to grow on me! nyuck nyuck hyuck.

in other game news, its centaur time. i needed to get presents for the centaurs so they would let me into their camp. badeea proves herself to be a mother fucking g by giving me an antique star map to give them. i like badeea shes like a benevolent genius who floats into the story every once in awhile when you need her most and then fucks off again. 

torvus is the only kid sized centaur, also. all the others are adult height and its very jarring because i dont think torvus is supposed to be a kid. hes just like the shetland pony of the centuars. all the centuars in the camp look like buff dudes because they cant make any be female, because theres a 25% chance that there are no female centaurs. its a question on this test thing that jkr made a long time ago but we never got an answer key. we know the centaurs have foals though so my guess is there are female centaurs, they would just look like dudes by human standards. 

got a new potions class segment where we can hang out with barnaby = good. still nothing for ismelda and liz. technically liz might not be in the class, given that weve never seen her in it even though shes slytherin. good to know barnaby didnt fail potions tho.

Battlefleet Gothic Armada 2

So I bought it and have been playing it recently, and it’s… eh? Like there’s a lot of content, seems like it could be very fun, but the game keeps crashing. It is technically still in the beta, but it’s also coming out tomorrow, and I get the feeling they’re done with the coding and are now just balancing stuff. Hopefully there’ll be a big patch/update just before the game launches, but this game has major crashing issues.

I can’t play any of the 3 campaigns because I have to do the prologue/tutorial first, which I can’t do because it crashes after the cinematic after the 2nd mission. Using the Necron’s “Abyssal Terror” skill also immediately crashes my game. Tyranids are also very crash heavy. Haven’t played them yet but I’d imagine Death Guard with their ships’ plague hive effect would also crash.

Like my computer says that it’s running out of memory for the Necron crash (nothing for the others), and that’s with me turning all the settings to lowest… but here’s the thing. I’ve been playing Total War Warhammer on max unit sizes with mid-high graphics. I’ve been playing Far Cry 5, Fallout 4, and other games just fine. Yet my computer is struggling with BFGA2? I know my computer isn’t the best, so I’m sure other people won’t have this problem, but this game just seems to be really not optimised that well.

Like I can play Fallout 4 at max settings, but can’t play BFGA at lowest? This thing it crashing more than a Bethesda game. Hopefully they smooth things out.

First lets look at the history of how this mountain came to be

During the Space age in the 50′s, Walt Disney was making a documentary on television about the potentials of space travel. While working on Disneyland in Anaheim. Walt Disney had help from a Disney animator John Hench. He and Walt wanted to make a land called ‘Tomorrowland’, a futuristic land of the year 1986, being educational and preparing others for the future. When Disneyland opened in July 17 of 1955, it was a big success. In Tomorrowland, their most thrilling attraction was Rocket to the Moon: a space themed ride which gave guests a thrilling sneak peak of commercial space flight that would be popular in the future. While Disneyland was a huge hit in its first year of operation, Tomorrowland would never be completed. The problem with Tomorrowland is that tomorrow will always come, new ideas for the future will always come, and Tomorrowland would be outdated.

In 1959, Disneyland got its first expansion with the Monorail, The Submarine Voyage, and the Matterhorn Bobsleds ride, this would make Matterhorn the world’s first steel roller coaster. During the 60′s, Walt Disney replaced Rocket to the Moon with The Flying saucers in 1961 which closed in 1966 due to technical issues. He decide to get help with the other artists to plan a Major overhaul for Tomorrowland showcasing new ideas and technology for the future.

In 1964, The World’s fair was showcased, showing newer technology. When Matterhorn was a big hit, Walt Disney said to the imagineers “Why can’t we have a ‘Space mountain’ ride?” With these words and the many artistic lessons learned in The World’s Fair, John Hench would work with Walt Disney once again on the land that challenged him and Walt from the very beginning. But how would he capture a lasting mystery and intrigue within an ever-changing land how would the danger and thrill of space travel be captured in a theme park attraction? John Hench had the solution, he just didn’t know it in 1964.

With the New York World’s fair come and gone but what remained as a profound purpose and vision for Disneyland. While the discoveries made in New York were inspirational to Walt and his artists. It would inspire more for the vision for a newly realized Tomorrowland. Not that much imagineers seemed to solve John Hench's problem by bringing a so-called Space Mountain real in a land that focused on making the future a tangible reality. Outer space was still a intangible mystery to the American public. Not only that but the technology required to make an indoor space themed roller coaster was non-exsistent.

The original idea for this so-called ‘Space mountain’ was expanding Matterhorn’s format by having a single car coaster to run on four separate tracks in a futuristic alien-like mountainous structure. During development on this space roller coaster, the original name for it was going to be called ‘Space Voyage’. This is where the technological issues lied. But primarily, Walt Disney swept the project away by the creation of Pirates of the Caribbean for the newly minted New Orleans Square. But Hench kept working on the ‘Space Voyage’ project, designing concepts for the future attraction that would be part of a major part of the new planned Tomorrowland.

Unfortunately, in late 1966, Walt Disney past away. And with him went the vision and advocacy for new and daring attractions and projects, the space thrill ride would have to be delayed for the new Tomorrowland in 1967 would open without Walt’s Space Mountain.

The New Tomorrowland was a big success and became one of the most popular lands in the park, but now WED Enterprises (Walt Disney Imagineering) would be occupied by bringing Walt’s dying vision to fruition: Walt Disney World. While the Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland in California would serve the same philosophical function as it’s Disneyland counterpart in Florida, WED was partnering up with different companies to sponsor brand new attractions. Just like when Disneyland opened in 1955, Tomorrowland would prove to be the hardest land to plan and design. WED decided to open Tomorrowland attractions in a series of different phases. And so, Walt Disney World opened on Oct 1, 1971 with a very unfinished Tomorrowland.

For the next phases, WED would seek out bigger and better projects. Marty Sklar and John Hench approached RCA (System Communication Center) to sponsor an attraction for Tomorrowland. Because RCA was an electric company, Sklar and Hench began work on designing a computer themed attraction. But when they finally met with the company had to pitch the idea, it resulted into an absolute failure. So they went back to the drawing board, this time, they noticed an overwhelming lack of thrill rides in the park because there was no room to build a Florida version of the Matterhorn. It then became clear that this might be the perfect opportunity to bring Walt’s Space Mountain to life. And so, they did. George McGinnis would help design the attraction, along with former pilot Bill Watkins. Together. They would design the ride system that would perfect with the Matterhorn attempted; less than 20 years earlier. And so, after many many MANY YEARS, Space mountain would finally begin construction in 1972.

Space Mountain finally opened at Walt Disney World on Jan 15, 1975, with a huge ceremony and would forever change the definition of thrill ride. This would declare Space mountain the World’s first fully indoor roller coaster.

Six months later; work began immediately on bringing a version of this attraction, where it was originally attended. Disneyland. Because of space issues, the ride would have to go from having two track to just one. But with the technological advances made with the Orlando version, the team of artists and imagineers would be able to consolidate and perfect the tubular steel roller coaster and even increase capacity.

Space mountain in Disneyland opened on May 27, 1977 [two days after the movie Star Wars premiered] on the site of the former flying saucers. Like the other space mountain in Florida, it was a phenomenon. With a line stretching all the way to the parks main entrance.

But could it last long? What would happen to the excitement over the Space age die out from the American people? Could a space-themed thrill ride survive the event relevant cultural trend, or would it have to go to the way of many of its Tomorrowland predecessors? Not only with the public demuth a staple of the theme park experience, the future generations of artists would find themselves itching to breathe new life into this journey into the unknown

I’m going to have to tell more history of Space mountain in Disneyland because theres more story to it.

in 1996, Space mountain got some speakers on the sides of the vehicles to amplify music. The song is made by Dick Dale Combining a sci fi horror feel and a surf song as well.

Then on 1998, they redid the dome to make it a bronze color, because Originally In the 90′s, Disney was trying to be cool and hip, a bunch of projects were scrapped due to EuroDisneyLand’s (Disneyland Paris) massive failure but we’ll get to that later. They tried to make Tomorrowland 2055, a very great renovation, but we got this instead due to their low budget.

Space mountain closed in 2003 to refurbish the ride. Luckily, the exterior would be restored. And a new music track was put in to replace Dick Dale’s version. This new soundtrack is composed by Micheal Giacchino.

in 2005, for Disneyland’s 50th anniversary, Space Mountain re-opened to the public. The loading station has now a different spaceship hanging from above and a bunch of set pieces were redesigned.

In 2009, Space Mountain got its first seasonal overlay called Ghost Galaxy on Halloween seasons. The screen on the front of the station is all glitched and corrupted, giving the illusion that a ghost is lurking. And in 2014, they made the station lighting to green

In 2015, to help promote the new Star Wars movie ‘The Force Awakens’, they themed Tomorrowland into “Star Wars: Season of the force” putting Star Wars music around the land. And Space Mountain was seasoned to Hyperspace Mountain, where you have to help the rebellion fight off the Galactic Empire from invading Jakku. This season wouldn’t change back to the original version till 2017 for both Star Wars’s and Space Mountain’s 40th anniversary. Space Mountain would return to its original ride.

This would also be the last time that the inventor of Space Mountain; 87 year-old Bill Watkins would ride it for the last time.

In 2018, a new queue was added, this had a satellite for hanging and some LED lights on the ceilings

In 2019, Disneyland had to temporarily closed Space Mountain, two weeks after a man climbed out of one of the roller coaster cars while the ride was still in motion, ABC Newsthis link opens in a new tab reported.The incident happened on Tuesday, but unfortunately, Disneyland park-goers were still unable to ride the indoor roller coaster as of Thursday.According to The Orange County Registerthis link opens in a new tab, the man, in his 20s, was uninjured but was guided to safety by employees in order to receive first aid and was taken to the hospital later as a precaution.The man has some cognitive disabilities and was moving around in the dark during a slower part of the ride when he was able to get around the safety mechanism and climb out of the car, The Orange County Register reported. Once employees realized he was not in the car, they stopped the ride to find him.

so lifes going okay I guess. ive been with dan for over 3 years now, and we both have good jobs. I just got a raise at work and am making almost 17 dollars an hour, that's crazy to me. danny starts his new job next week and his last day at his current job is tomorrow, technically today, and im so excited and happy for him. I’m going to take my TEA’s soon, and apply for the lpn program in the fall. we are actually getting somewhere in life. meanwhile, shawn just totaled his 4th car, an old honda civic si that was once beautiful but by the time he got his hands on it it was already a disaster car, so its probably for the better. but rip si. and the motor, ugh :( anyway, im working my ass off and trying to save for a house and also not have any mental breakdowns so we’ll see. I’m seeing a new doctor now and finally was diagnosed with abdominal migraines, so now at least I know theres a reason for my madness and im not just actually insane because for a while there I was getting pretty damn scared. Wedding Planning - Week Thirteen

Sunday, 18th March, 104 Days till ‘I Do’

Hello Everyone! Firstly, I should really apologise for the inconsistency with these blogs as of the last few months, I didn’t realise how on top of this whole planning a wedding thing I actually am and so that has resulted in a lot of weeks of nothing really being done, or nothing that I can write a substantial blog about anyway! So sozzzzzzzzz. I am so so bad at this “weekly” thing, technically this is week 22 of wedding planning, if you are counting from when I started this blog, but if you are counting from when we got engaged, it has been 29 weeks. Counting that has made me realise just how far we have come and how fast the weeks are flying by! 

The fact we are literally three months and one week away from being married, 15 weeks from today we will be married and hopefully I will be writing a blog from our beautiful honeymoon cottage in Cornwall, all about the wedding and sharing some photos of the day. That is both exciting and absolutely terrifying all at the same time. There is so much to do, but I have been hesitant to start, not sure if I am nervous or just unsure as to where I should start. On the plus side, all the stuff that is left to do is the fun stuff, oh and of course paying for things. 

So I think, from now on I am going to make my blogs a little less structured, as in I won't commit to once a week... because there really isn't a lot to blog about each week... but leaving it a month I feel like I have a fair bit to say. Theres obviously a few things I want to leave as surprises for the big day, like the dresses, suits, jewellery etc.. which can make it difficult to have things to write about. I will say this though, suits have been chosen, my dress is almost finished and the bridesmaids are about to be started. 

This week has been the best week we have had in a while, and I am feeling super excited about the big day. This week, we both had our appointments with the councils to give notice of our plans to marry. Then we had a lovely long weekend together. We were meant to be going to a concert on Thursday evening, but unfortunately it got cancelled. We had both already been to the meeting, so needed something to do. Ended up in the Cherry Laurel, which is a pub in Bridgend with the entire menu being 241 - perfect for when saving for a wedding! We ended up having a lovely evening and it didn’t cost us a bomb, would highly recommend if you're in the Bridgend area. 

Then on Friday we both had the day off of work, and I thought that I had arranged with the venue manager to go down and look around, work some stuff out regarding tables etc... except I had booked it in for Saturday! Luckily, the lady who manages the community centre is super friendly, and she gave us the keys and let us go down on our own to look around and do whatever we needed to do. When mum originally mentioned maybe needing to go down there to work out some logistical things, I thought pfft we don’t need to do that, this will be a waste of time. HAH was I wrong. We got down there, and the first thing to do was measure the lengths of the paths, the paths of course were not straight... luckily Kurtis has massive feet, and they are exactly twelve inches long.. so he walked the path and counted his steps. Lets just say, he looked ridiculous and had to do it multiple times because he kept losing count. It was really fun to actually look and plan out what we want to do with the venue and visualise it all coming together, especially since the decorations we have been ordering have started arriving. Once we were inside, there was a lot of counting plug sockets, to be able to ensure there is enough space and sockets for the food prep on the day. Then we needed to work out how many tables they have available, how many chairs, and if we will need to hire them. We are going to have to hire tables, but might get away with not needing to hire chairs. If anyone has 8 fancy looking chairs, and fancies lending them to me for a day... please let me know! Thanks. 

So it dawned on me, whilst we were discussing chairs and tables etc... that I didn’t know if the number of tables we need would fit in the room... so Kurtis to help out... did this ... (see insta/facebook videos mentioned earlier). Honestly it was so much fun working out where things would go, and how they would fit in etc... Table hire is surprisingly inexpensive, which I am certainly not complaining about. 

All our invites have been handed out now, with the exception of one invite for Georgia, but she is a bridesmaid and so I am pretty sure she can make it. We have had so many RSVPS back already, but we have asked for them back by April 30th... after talking to a few people I feel I may have allowed maybe a little too much time to RSVP... but hopefully it will all be fine and 2 months will be enough time to sort the stuff that is dependant on who's coming. Our invites are absolutely beautiful and I couldn't be happier with them, we didn’t originally order enough, but the company were super understanding and sent us the extra 10 we needed within a week of Kurtis emailing them and paying for the extras. We also finally got around to ordering me some shoes for the big day, and the hair accessories for myself and my bridesmaids. I was so pleasantly surprised that ASOS has a fantastic bridal range, I will update ya on the quality when they arrive. I decided that the three adult bridesmaids would have matching, then Lacey and Ellie would have something different to the adults but the same as each other. Then for Isabella something entirely different because she will only be a year old by the time we get married, so she needed something age appropriate. But those have now all been ordered, and mum is contacting the company for my petticoat tomorrow. I must say the petticoat is quite a daunting thing, because when I went to try wedding dresses on I really didn’t enjoy wearing the petticoats at all... So mum has said I'll just have to trust her that it will be fine and the dress will feel better with it on. 

This weekend we finally got around to taking our “bottom drawer” up to the loft for storage, as requested by mum so she can start adding more stuff to it again... Didn’t realise quite how much stuff we had until trying to get it into the loft, it took a while and a lot of manoeuvring through the very small hole that is the entrance for our loft. However whilst we were up there we had a little look through a load of the boxes my mum has up there... we found so many things from when I was a kid and I got very nostalgic and suddenly broody wanting a child to pass all this onto. My mum loves keeping hold of things in the hopes she can pass them onto me for my kids, so if I end up with a little girl I probably won't need to buy her any clothes until she's like 6 years old. I also found some photo albums from family trips, Kurtis enjoyed those because I was bald as a baby till I was at least 2 so of course he laughed at that. 

We also found mums wedding box, which had her album dress and veil in it. Her dress was absolutely beautiful... if you like a four layer dress with pink bows and frills. In all seriousness her dress was handmade by her, and looked stunning on the day. It was weird seeing it in person, because of course I had seen photographs and mum had described it to me but it looked so much more intricate when I saw it in real life. Also, mum tried putting it on, 26 years later and realised how tiny she was on her wedding day! I decided, upon finding mums veil (which still had confetti in it from her big day) that provided mum didn’t mind me using it, and adding some sparkle I would use it for my wedding too. She agreed and now I am super excited, I have my something old and borrowed. It is a beautiful two tier veil, but that is all I will say. Its weird because there are people coming to my wedding who would have attended mums wedding, though I doubt they will remember what her veil looked like. 

So yeah, thats everything thats been happening in the last month. I know this blog seems to be mostly about this weekend alone but this is just when a few things that have been being planned have come together. Next on the planning list is sorting out the surprises for the bridal party, and finding my perfume for the day. I've decided that I want to have a brand new perfume for the wedding. This was after watching a few makeup tutorials for wedding makeup, and in each and every one of them they said about having a special perfume so that after the big day, the scent will always take you back. And I love those kind of memories, tastes, sounds and smells that take you back to a special place really make me happy. If anyone has any recommendations for a nice perfume, which isn't going to break the bank please let me know. I want something light and floral I think.

This blog has taken me so long to write, literally been doing it since 6pm. Ever so sorry for how long of a read, but if you made it this far I admire your commitment and willingness to read through my babbling. Hopefully it won't be another month before I write again, writing this reminded me why I started this, I looooove writing and spending time with my own thoughts. 

I’ll insert a couple of pictures now from the past few weeks... we have been going out a lot and it has been a lot of fun. In order we have, waiting for a Chinese (standard), then out with work the other week, then Kurtis on our anniversary meal, and finally a photo of my ring just in case you've forgotten what it looks like.

EPISODE 9: “Two weeks ago, I found the most important item in this game: the stick of destiny” - NED (PART 2)

fuck so I guess Eddie made all of these promises to Joe last night to get him to drop and now he feels bad and wants to be able to keep them or at least save Joe. He told Joe that he would vote for Sarah this tribal and then play his idol final 7. So I guess now he feels bad and doesn't want to vote out Joe but also doesn't want to turn on anyone, in my opinion I would vote out Sarah or Ned in a heartbeat but right now the only thing he'll really listen to understandably is to vote out Steph because she would be the least likely to have her feeling hurt by getting voted out right now. I know that Sarah and Ned had a final 3 with Rob so I think that now since he's back on board with us we should take one of them out because frankly I KNOW that none of them are gunna wanna take me to the end and I honestly don't know if they'd take Eddie there either, I really never thought I would feel this but I can actually see myself getting to the end if I play everything right, I mean it's a small possibility but I don't know I just have a good feeling. I really hope that I will at least make it past this tribal because then I will have beat all of my placements but I don't know I guess after this my next goal is final 5 and I really do believe that I can at least make it that far, I just have to be smart about it and part of that is convincing Eddie that Steph isn't really a good vote right now and Ned or Sarah would be. Sarah is way more strategic but Ned is a comp beast, if we were take out Ned now and Elliott next then I think that I would actually have a CHANCE to win an immunity but who knows, I'm just wicked excited to be here and in this position and I really hope I can pull through, right now I've been playing the middle really well so like we'll see how things go from here because I think this vote is gunna draw the line

I JUST THOGHT OF THE BEST PLAN RVER JCDIJKJKWJEOWKEOIWK IM SCREMAMAMAMAMAMMAMA Sam and I are blindsiding Ned this round. Btw i haven’t really talked about this much but I have a secret final 2 with Sam and I plan to keep my word to her and I’m 10000000% bring her to the final 2 no matter what. She’s the only person who has been truthful too me this whole entire game. I think she could possibility beat me but I don’t care. I need to know I had some form of loyalty through out this game to be able to feel good about how I played. But basically I brought this plan to Sam. I go to rob tonight and get on a call with  him and tell him about what joe told me about the stuff that he said to joe and I’m going to ask him again why did he flip on Sarah, Ned and I. I’m hoping that he’s honest enough with me to tell me he thinks Ned and Sarah are big threats to win, and I’ll act like that started to get me think and I’ll be like “do you think they really are”? and then I’ll be like you know rob maybe they are big threats to win this game and I’m going to flip him onto voting out Ned this next tribal council. Then next tribal council we have Sarah blindsided, thinking she is on the bottom, i’m going to do MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR damage control. Then before tribal I’m going to tell her we don’t have numbers and that her and I both need to play our idols cause they’re going after on of us. Mean while Sam and I are going to be having Joe thinking Sarah is going. We all vote Sarah, Sarah plays her idol, I convince Sarah that we need to idol out Elliott because this is our chance to take him out and Joe will always be a huge threat while Elliott could go on an immunity run. Sarah and I throw our votes onto Elliott while Sam votes with Joe’s side. Further more showing people that there is “no chance” Sam and I have a final 2. That’s sets the final 6 vote up perfectly for Sam and I. It’ll basically be Joe vs Sarah, and we will once again be in the middle, and have total control over which one of them wins the battle. And the BEST AND GREATEST FUCKING THING IS Sam and I have been able to successfully set ourselves up in a position where we are both playing the middle, but Joe’s side has more trust in Sam, and Sarah’s side has more trust in me. So we have both sides telling us their actual plans and at the end of everyday Sam and I can put together want we know to have a good understanding of what is actually going on in the game. ALSO the way Sam and I will convince Joe to do Ned instead is because we can blindside ned with the idol in his pocket even though we know Sarah has it. (Sarah told me yesterday Ned gave her his idol incase he got blindsided and she told me she's not making him give it back to her.) Now I’m thinking of doing something even bigger though kjvjkvjkjfvkejjkr. I might play my idol on joe during this tribal council and idol out Ned. I'll have Sam vote with Sarah and Ned. I’m going to go to sarah and say maybe we should vote rob instead of joe. I’m going to hope that she’s turns it down 100%, but I want to do that so that she thinks I think Rob should go over joe so that when I play my idol, she will assume I’m idoling out Rob and not think to play it on Ned or that it’s a possibility that he’s going. I want to include elliott in on the plan just because I want a good three votes to throw when I play my Idol. Joe and I will vote Ned, Elliott will vote Stephanie incase Sarah does think to play her idol on Ned. Then the damage control that I’m planning on doing, Idk if it will work, but I’m going to go to sarah and be like “i know you’re angry, but guess what now no one will suspect that we actually have a final two and that’s exactly the reason I did that. I needed to do something really big for people to believe our final 2 was no more, so I needed to flip on you, and I needed you to have a raw reaction to me flipping on you. I hope you forgive me, but I hope you also see how good this was for your game. 1. People think that Ned left with the beauty idol and that they do not need to worry about it anymore. So now nobody except for me knows you have it. 2. Now absolutely zero people are suspecting that would could possibly ever have a final 2 at all. Now we technically have a secret final 2 that will most likely go undetected for the rest of the game. 3. Now Joe thinks I’m with him and trust him 100% when I don’t. And now I can get information from him and actually know what that side is doing each round. 4. Now you had Ned in the jury who will give you his vote, and will definitely campaign for you to win. 5. I'm nervous. There's like a 50% chance I'll get the idol. Which could get me final 5. Like, I have four chances tonight, Which 1-4 are low numbers. So the idol is 1-4 somewhere in the river or marsh. But I don't know how low is low, so I don't want to do 1 and 2 in both, So I'm going big or going home at this point. If I don't find it I'll be voted out next, Because me looking will reveal I know where the idol is. And if I don't go next round, then I have two more tries to look for the idol, and no one is going to let that happen

Ok so basically theres two hours before tribal and i havent done an update since before pressure cooker so i  just wanna let you guys know some shit Joe won immunity after knight moves which is extremely ugly to me and he was really cocky about it. Like ok you won? congrats no one was "trying to box you in" I WAS JUST TRYIN TO SURVIVE BUT ANYWAYS PRESSURE COOKER HAPPENED AND I SWEAR TO GOD MY MOM IS CRAZY AND AFTER LIKE 4 HOURS INTO THE COMP SHE DECIDES TO CUT OFF THE INTERNET AND YELL AT ME SO YEA After I leave Joe was like trying his shit with eddie all like "do you have a f2 with sarah?" and eddies all like where is this coming from wtf and then he asks "does she have a f2 with ned?" and honestly joe I HAVE A F2 WITH BOTH OF THEM SO STFU BITCH STOP BEING PROBLEMATIC IM JUST SITTING HERE WATCHING THE LIVE STREAM LIKE OH THIS BITCH REALLY WANNA TEST ME HUH it came down to elliott, eddie and joe in the final 3 and I was praying eddie could pull this out!!!! So it went off live stream but we were updated elliott took immunity as a reward but cant compete in the next immunity challenge which is MUSIC TO MY EARS BECAUSE HES A COMP BEAST AND NO ONE WANTS HIM GOING ON A WINNING STREAK so its the perfect time to get him out ! Anyways it was joe and eddie left and joe told eddie he wants me out and the only way hes gonna give eddie the immunity is if eddie votes my ass out?!? try again anyways eddie agreed which was OBVIOUSLY A LIE and told me right after and honestly i love eddie so much and he genuinely feels awful about lying and im sad he had to do that :-( but me>joe. Learn your place joe. So Its been quiet lately but basically eddie convinced joe to change the vote to rob and not me so i dont get any votes and i keep my track record of only getting votes until im voted off :~) heheheheehe Hopefully everyone is telling the truth about voting joe out tn otherwise ill be upset :-( Also i have to be really careful with sam and eddie at this point because idk if they want me out at a certain point but ned and i are going on call after this tribal so hopefully all you're seeing tn is a 6-2 or a 7-1 vote and joe is gone. I really don’t know whether this is a mistake or not, I’ve weighed out all the pros and cons, what this does to change the game and what my numbers after I make this move will be, but I came into this game to take big risks, make big moves, and I’m not here to go with what’s comfortable and what will get me a guaranteed four (going with Sarah, Ned, and Rob, especially after Sarah made the mistake of revealing to me that the reason she thought Rob would never flip on her was because her, Ned, and Rob has a final 3), but not a guaranteed win. I could be fucking my chances up of winning at all tonight if this move pisses people off to the point that they don’t want to work with me or they don’t want to vote for me at then end. But, I’ve made my decision, and I am playing my idol on Joe tonight, and hopefully successfully idoling out Ned, and if that doesn’t work and Sarah plays the idol on him, then Steph will go. Which, isn’t nearly anything close to as beneficial as I believe Ned going will be, but it’s better than nothing. I’m honestly scared that this move will ruin the game I’ve played and the way I have positioned myself at this point in the game, but if this works, and the game dynamics become what I predicted they would become after I make this move, Sam and I will yet again be able to successfully play the middle as she is going to vote with Sarah, Ned, Rob, Stephanie, tonight, and I will vote with Joe and Elliott, while Joe and Elliott know Sam is voting with Sarah, Ned, and Rob so that puts her in a good position to play the middle in between the group of Sarah, Ned, Rob and then the group of Joe and Elliott, while I’m hoping that I can position myself in the same way if the damage control that I am planning on doing with Rob and Sarah is successful which I’m not very confident it will be which is why I’m scared, at least I will have Sarah and Rob trusting Sam, and thinking they need her this next round and that she is the swing vote. Idk, it’s gonna be an explosive tribal council, and an explosive night after whatever happens. I’m scared but I’m ready. Big moves are what I came to do, and good T.V. is what I came to make. So let’s get this tribal council over and done with, I’m ready for whatever this move brings my way. It only gets harder from here on out, and I’m ready for the challenge.

so I heard that Rob is coming for me

so anyways Eddie is apparently gunna play his idol on Joe and idol out Ned and Sarah has Ned's idol but he doesn't wanna idol out Sarah and honestly, I hate that like I don't want Sarah around, she scares me, all of these people scare me! Also I told Elliott that idol is in the marsh and I was hoping he would go look for it because everyone wants to target him next tribal when he can't compete for immunity but I really don't want him to go then, I know people are scared he'd go on an immunity run and they think that if he gets to the end he'd win but I feel like I might have a CHANCE against him! I know he has the whole underdog thing but like if I just keep him informed in the vote he isn't an underdog, he'd be my goat, I think I've got a good argument if I get to the end because I started off on the bottom and then I managed to flawlessly work myself into the middle of these votes for at least three votes so far and both sides 100% believe I'm with them when I don't even fully know which side I want to be with 100% so like if I can actually articulate my words right and present my argument properly I think I could beat Elliott, I just need him to go find that damn idol and save himself! maybe even if he just goes and looks I can make him fake receipts of finding the idol but I would need to know what it looks like when someone finds it since Eddie and Ned already know exactly what Junior says when someone finds an idol

I feel like I haven't talked in days, I probably haven't. So, I ultimately decided to flip on Chris and the beauties because I couldn't trust them anymore. The alliance, Sarah Hit Squad, was honestly a pretty ugly alliance. The things that they were saying, it didn't rub off well with me. I like Ned, Sarah, and Eddie: so seeing people like Joe and Elliott bash them saying stuff like "oh Ned is dumb, I thought he was smarter" made me reconsider my allegiance. Plus, I know the beauties have been throwing me under the bus, after the tribal, everyone stayed on the hangout, I eventually left, and people were calling me out. Chris and Joe, I was told they were talking about me, when they had no real reason to be. I voted with them, they would've been minority already. I talked to the other side, they made me feel welcome, I apologized to them. SHS didn't even talk to me until right before we started Pressure Cooker. We talked and I made the decision to vote off Chris with them because he is a threat in this game: he can win challenges, he had the possibility of having an idol, he's likable. I would not win against Chris in the end. After that, it was Pressure Cooker, and i'm so sad because my connection went out. I don't know why, but I did have a lot of fight in me to continue. Elliott took a temptation so he's immune, but Eddie ultimately won the challenge. Next round, Elliott has to go because he has no immunity, he doesn't like me (the feelings mutual), and he's at the bottom with the chance to win challenges if he has the opportunity to do so. This round, however, It's going to hopefully be Joe. Joe does not trust me anymore, and I never trusted him. At the beauty tribe, I was at the bottom, he threw my name out to Ricky, and I knew he wasn't really that close to me ever since. He tries to play this upfront game, but it is a front, Joe's not really a beauty because his social game's atrocious, and he's ugly on the inside. Even though I do believe Joe has a slim chance of winning, only if he was with Steph, I was told by Ned that he would be voting for me, which I expected, so he definitely has to be the one tonight. It's been a battle for the last beauty standing, and I'm ready to win the war. If i am the last beauty left, that would be so ironic because I was at the minority originally, and the majority was taken out one by one. Moving forward in this game, I need Elliott and Sam out. Like it was previously stated, Elliott is someone i cannot work with, and Sam is such a huge threat to win the game in my opinion. She hasn't pissed people off, the jury likes her, she's been in the bottom for a long time,  and she plays the middle woman really well. She's a very smart person, and I know I stand no chance against her in the end. She'll be like Kristie Bennett, and I don't want to be the Lee or the Matt. If I have my dream final three, if it is a final three, it would be me, Eddie, and Sarah. Eddie's social game has been lacking, he's pissed a lot of people off, and in the beginning, his heart wasn't in the game. While he was a threat, I don't think people would see him as the one in charge, especially after what happened with the Ariel vote. Sarah, she betrayed a lot of people in the jury, and she's been a polarizing figure in the game. Drew and Andreas may not vote for her, I'm not really sure. I think I may garner the votes of the jury, I just have to kill the speeches, play up to the jury's ego, and own up to the game I have played. I may have betrayed every single person in the jury, but it would have gotten me to the end, hopefully. I'm worried that something crazy may happen at tribal, I do think there's a possibility that I may leave tonight, but I hope not. I know where the idols are, Eddie has the brains and Ned has the beauty. Drew left with the brawn, unless Chris and Elliott were lying, I hope not. If I don't leave tonight, i do believe that I have a chance of winning this game, I have been told that people would take me to the end, and I think it could potentially help them out, people could have resentment towards me, but does that mean I won't win? I don't know about that. I'm never going to stop fighting, I've worked too hard to stop now.

I'm writing this during Tribal. The plan is for Sarah, Eddie, Sam, Rob, Stephanie, and me to vote against Joe, and we purposefully left Elliott out of the loop so he doesn't pull any strings. Unfortunately, Elliott searched for the Idol twice immediately before Tribal- both in the right location (that I learned from the Auction), so if he found the Idol, sketchy things are going to happen. We're nearing the endgame, and backs are about to be stabbed. Pray for me.
