Ok to the question xgzggxzg

Killer is definitely.. complicated to write, I struggle with him sometimes ngl shshhdh

I honestly went and reread his entire comics, lore and answered asks to get a deeper look into him to be able to write him

But when it comes to writing him, I generally try to keep 6 things in mind at all times

1-trauma: how does the resets, working for Chara, having his code get manipulated and killing over and over again till what was new became something old affect him? (the whole idea of Killer killing people started as an offer of trying something new, so he kept killing till he got bored and killing became something stagnant)

This can easily be portrayed in Killer’s canon inability to till what’s real or not, as well as his hallucinations and the guilt he’s ridden with, always running from his past yet never outrunning it, as it always catches up to him

2- conditioning: his conditioning started from the days of Chara, then continued into his days with Nightmare, how does his conditioning affect him in his daily life?

How was he conditioned specifically? And how does that contribute to Killer’s perception of self, autonomy, self worth, and life in general? How does it change his body and mind?

Does it make him believe he’s just a machine meant to please others even when it hurts him, does it make Killer perceive vulnerability as a death sentence

How does he feel about his masters? Does he hate them down to every bone, or does he not care?

3-personality: Killer’s personality always change depending on the stage, but what are the main traits that you know Killer will always have regardless of the stage? Being quiet is one thing, he keeps to himself (as much as the fandom loves to portray him as extremely hyperactive, he’s not at all the loud, talkative, hyperactive skelle the fandom makes him out to be)

He’s also extremely secretive, seems to have knowledge that others don’t, and seems to always be up for a social interaction regardless of who’s with him

He’s also actually extremely patient (another thing the fandom stripped away from Killer’s character), and is very docile (isn’t aggressive unless pushed and never is an attack on sight kinda person) yet holds a grudge big time

He seems to see himself as superior over others, he’s extremely fucking intelligent it’s actually scary

These traits are something I try to keep consistent within my writing for Killer

4- relationships: what are his relationships with other characters like, and why?

Taking the 3 points before into consideration, how does Killer’s trauma, conditioning, and personality make him perceive others and others perceive him?

Are his relationships healthy? Toxic? Are they one sided or mutual? Does he care about the person in his vicinity or are they just another nobody? If he cares why? If he doesn’t what would he do to them?

Would he take advantage of his relationship with someone or is it a relationship he wishes for it to vanish?

5-stages: I think this is truly what makes Killer extremely complicated, cause see all of the 4 points above? how does each stage differ from each other?

How does stage 1 deal with his guilt/truama and conditioning? How does stage 2, 3, and 4 deal with them?

Depending on each stage Killer’s outward perception, personality, attitude, thoughts, and actions change

But how do they change exactly?

This is something that you need to understand each stage for to be able to integrate into writing

Stage 1 is the stage where he’s most sans like, yet never sans enough, stage 2 is when he’s apathetic to everyone and everything and perceives killing as “fun” because he’s painfully understimulated , stage 3 is when he’d attack whoever is in front of him, and stage 4 is when killer is no longer present mentally

How does each stage deal with his environment, with the people around him, how does he deal with the dissociation and how does he perceive himself in each stage?

6-environments: how does the environment Killer lives in affect him?

Killer starts in an environment of time loops, how does that affect his perception of time and reality? He then becomes Nightmare’s subordinate, a dangerous environment with constant threats to his life from every angle, how does Killer feel about it? How does he deal with it?

Will he get to try his luck and escape, or has he given up on himself and the idea of freedom? Does he even believe he has a chance for a better life in a safer environment? Will he go for a safer environment or will he cling to the comfort of what he knows?

When he does finally go to a safer environment, how would that affect him? Both positively and negatively? Would he feel like something is missing? Would his mind constantly tell him that this safe environment isn’t really safe?

Then of course, beyond these main 6 things, there’s the in between, what are Killer’s likes? His dislikes? How does he feel about sleep, food?

Generally when writing characters, it’s important to keep in mind interpersonal factors, intrapersonal factors and environmental factors that ends up affecting the character’s behavior, or in this specific situation, Killer’s behavior (god I’m realizing how much my uni major affects my writing of characters rn chchc)

But I say the biggest life saving advice I have that helps with writing characters in general (and especially complicated ones like Killer) is having the question “why” as your closest friend

When you make a statement about a character, in this instance Killer, always attach the question “why” at the end till you can’t attach it anymore, until you reach a point where asking “why” becomes unnecessary and annoying

For example:

“Killer loves golden flower tea”

Why?

It reminds him of the bed of golden flowers he passed out on

Why does that matter?

Because it was the point of no return from a change that will always dictate who he is

Why is it a point of no return?

Because his soul had deformed beyond recognition and it can never be brought back to how it used to be

Why would it dictate who he is? Why can’t he just choose to be someone else?

Because he was conditioned to be this killer by a higher power out of his control

At this point, there are no more “why”s that would make something as simple as a golden flower tea statement more nuanced than it already is, so when you ask why again, you find that you’re unable to continue giving an answer, that’s the point of where you stop

In fact, allow me to test you by giving you a quick question about your own interpretation of the characters, why does your Nightmare admire Error? What is in Error that Nightmare admires specifically?

Of course, you don’t really need to answer me, but I’m just giving you an example of how asking “why” can help you make so many simple things more nuanced

Ok but what if you know there should be an answer to a “why” but you don’t know it yet? Then you keep it in mind for later, you won’t always have the answers to everything on the get go, sometimes, you need a bit of time to figure things out and write characters the way you feel satisfy you, until then, you can work on other things about the characters

*Cough* anyway, this is honestly everything I can think of off the top of my head? Hopefully I didn’t miss anything ydfhgchchchc

6H: regime!! those people need to have their own familiar structure of life, even if this structure doesn’t make sense for everybody else. they need their morning walks, they need their sunday movie nights with that one person, they need to do this exact type of exercise bc it’s important for them and only they will get it.

7H: those people are about lifelong relationships, they may be one of the most devoted partners you can find. they find comfort in people they’ve been with since forever, they are feeling sure and good and comfy around their best friend that they’ve known for 20 years, that they’ve grown up with and that they share almost all of their life experiences with👭

8H: those people need their alone time. they need their sacred space, their little castle that nobody can invade and make them put on a human suit again. they find comfort in knowing that there’s completely no one around so that they can be so much and unapologetically alone and themselves.

9H: those people are the greatest optimists, that will not let the humanity destruct itself in the storm of hate and pessimism. those people always know that there’s hope, that the world is a good place to be in, that there’s joy and love and laughter and cool people and also little animals and big animals and flowers and so much more!! 10H: another type of people that need the structure, but, on the contrary with 6H fellas, this is kind of an external structure. it may be a literal social institute that provides them with it (e.g. school, work, gym membership, language clubs??), or a kind of style of living that they accept to follow. those people may find comfort in knowing that they have their life together, in knowing what will happen tomorrow🏹

11H: those people crave the sense of belonging. they need to know that they are not alone in this world, that there’s at least another person on Earth that can say ‘hey! im here! I know how you feel’. the greatest sense of comfort for those people is knowing that they are understood.

12H: hello my lovely existentialists 🥰 for these people comfort may look like something unattainable, bc they are prone to existential dread every working day and holidays included. however, the sense of comfort is attained through daydreaming, sleeping and meditating — and also other 1000000 things that can be linked to sleep. Peeta was the perfect boyfriend. You realised this really early on in your relationship.

When you mentioned that you liked the smell of roses, the next day he was in your front yard planting rose bushes. You almost cried when you found out he came over every morning to trim, care for and water them.

You often visited him in the victors village, and today was a short, but difficult walk there. You were having the worst cramps which you mentioned to Peeta this morning when he tended to your roses.

“Peeta!” You called as you entered his home.

“Upstairs bathroom!” He yelled back and you began to walk upstairs.

When you turned into the room tears immediately filled your eyes. He had run you a bath, with rose petals floating in the water.

“Peeta-“ you could barely say anything.

“You said you had cramps…and I don’t know much about that stuff but I asked Katniss and she said heat helped sometimes so I ran you a bath.” He explained, completely oblivious to how perfect he was.

When you first started dating Peeta you were worried because of how the Capitol made it seem like he and Katniss had something going. But how could you be, he was so loyal and trustworthy.

“Thank you.” Tears fell from your eyes, more emotional today than any other.

“You don’t like it?” He asked, laced with concern.

“No no! Peeta…it’s perfect, you’re perfect. It’s just so nice and nobody has ever done something so sweet for me before.” You explained.

“Hey it’s okay.” He held you so tightly as he hugged you, stroking your hair. He didn’t mind if you cried on his shirt or were emotional. He was there for you.

“Well I’ll wait downstairs.” He smiled.

“No…you don’t have to leave.” You blurted out.

He nodded.

“I won’t look.” He stated as you pulled at the hem of your shirt. He looked at his feet while you got undressed. You hadn’t gotten there yet.

“I don’t mind if you look, Peeta.” You told him, his slowly raised his gaze. His eyes did a quick search of your naked body but they locked onto your eyes. It was small gestures like that, the ones he didn’t even know he was doing.

“Probably shouldn’t do this today.” Gesturing to yourself. “I’m all bloated and gross-“ you tried to explain.

“You’re so beautiful n/n” he stated just above a whisper. He was the only one that called you n/n. You smiled softly. How did you get so lucky.

You climbed in the bath, the water was so warm and soothing.

You spoke for a while, before Peeta offered to wash your hair.

“You don’t have to if you don’t want to-“ he was nervous. “I want to.” You replied with a smile.

He massaged your head to gently, making sure soap didn’t go into your eye. He covered every inch of your head with soap and used a bowl to help rinsing it out. He used his hand as a shield from the water. Treating you with more care than you ever had. He finished by smoothing your hair back and softly kissing your forehead.

He was perfect.

He went downstairs to let you change and when you walked into the kitchen he was buttering some steamy bread.

“I thought you’d be hungry, so I made bread before you came. It just came out the oven.” He handed you a plate.

You could do nothing except smile at this perfect boy. “Thank you. It smells delicious.” You spoke as you took a bite of the soft bread. Warm butter on your lips.

“Holy shit!” You smiled widely. He smiled to himself, proud of his work.

“What do you wanna do today?” Peeta asked.

“Can we maybe just lie down. Rest.” You asked.

He smiled and nodded.

When you had eaten about six slices of bread, Peeta didn’t make a comment about how much you ate, he simply asked if you wanted him to make more.

Soon enough you were upstairs in his room. He walked into the on suite to drain the bath water before he lay down.

“Shit.” He spoke as he walked out of the bathroom, shirt covered in water. He obviously leaned to far forward when draining the water.

“Oh no.” You stood up, that’s when he saw you had changed into one of his plain t-shirts and your underwear.

“Wow.” He breathed out. “You’re really beautiful.” He told you so genuinely.

You smiled. Looking at him with nothing but love.

“Peeta…you’re being all cute and sweet and it’s making me want to kiss you.

He smiled shyly, blush touching his cheeks.

“Okay.”

You kissed him gently but passionately. Holding his cheeks.

When you pulled away he smiled with swollen lips, the sight made you giggle.

“Change you’re shirt and come cuddle.” You made grabby hands from the bed after you sat back down.

He looked nervous. “ I won’t look.” You assured him. He looked eternally grateful.

Peeta had told you before, he was littered with scars from the games, from his parents. He hated it. He was really insecure. He knew you would love him no matter what he looked like but it was still scary. He could barely look at himself in the mirror.

You turned to face the other way.

You heard some movement before you heard his voice again.

“N/n.”

You waited a second before turning around to see his bare chest. You smiled. Sure enough there were scars everywhere.

He looked at the ground, he looked nervous, more than you think you’d seen him before.

“You’re really handsome.” You told him and lifted his chin, stroking his cheek when you approached.

He smiled too.

“Thank you for showing me.” You smiled at him brightly. Teary again, it was a big deal.

You squeezed his hand to let him know it was okay.

You pulled him into his soft bed and you both lay entangled in each other. Your head on his bare chest and he played with your hair.

“Is this okay.” You asked as traced one of his scars.

He hesitated before nodding.

“You don’t have to say yes.” You say up slightly.

“I know. Don’t stop…it’s nice.” He held your head back to his chest and continued.

“Thank you for today.” You whispered. He answered simply with a kiss on your head.

💙 Will wittle you things but it takes forever because he's never satisfied with his work. In fact the first time he made something for you, you found it yourself rather than him giving it to you. When you commented on it he got embarrassed and told you it wasn't ready, which confused you because it looked perfect? (It was a little dragon and your favorite animal, he let you keep it how it was :3)

💙 Have to reassure him that he's already perfect to you because the dude definitely thinks he's not worth the trouble. He's still healing and while that's mostly a self struggle he'll have to remedy himself, seeing how much you care for and support him helps.

This is my first ask! omg, so exciting. I'll try my best.

Bakugou Katsuki laughing at you.

You've had an awful day. In fact, you've been having a lot of awful days lately. You just got a job after years of working your ass off at uni. You were so excited. It's your first job! Your first step into the real world! Yeah, you really set yourself up for disappointment.

Since you were new, no one cared for what you had to say. They would dismiss you or act like you didn't exist. Who cares about your opinion on the project? Who would give a shit about your ideas for improvement? Just go get us some coffee, newbie.

You were heartbroken to say the least. It's been about a month of this and you were running out of optimism. You kept looking for silver linings when they finally turned gray.

As you enter the apartment you share with your boyfriend, you sigh. Taking off your shoes and sitting at the coffee table. You open your laptop and look at the new design for the building that your team was trying to get approved.

Despite the shit you go through, you can't help but love your job. You've always had a passion for architecture and design. You could envision it in your eyes and the endless ideas float in your mind.

"Hey, brat, you seem busy." you don't even notice Katsuki enter the apartment. He stands there in casual clothes with hair slightly wet. He probably showered at the agency.

"Hi, Kats. It's just stuff for work." You try to say nonchalantly but the stress of work was weighing down on you. You haven't told Katsuki any of this because he was so proud of you for getting the job! You can't disappoint him!

"Yeah? Are you okay? You seem down." you sigh and muster up a smile.

"Of course I am, honey." You could see that he definitely does not believe it. He can read you too well. You look at him with pleading eyes and he takes the hint. Dropping the subject.

He sits by you and looks at your laptop, "What's that?"

You know what he's trying to do and you appreciate it. He knows how much you love to talk about what you do, it never fails to put a smile on your face.

"Oh! Let me tell you all about it!" You start talking about the project and there's a sparkle in your eyes as you recount all the ideas you have.

Suddenly, you hear it. Laughing. Katsuki's laughing. Directed at you.

Your heart breaks and you stop talking. Afraid your voice will crack if you do. You're frozen in your spot as your heart races and the world starts to cave in. You have a flashback to your coworkers. All of them laughing at you trying to give your ideas and present your work.

Tears well up in your eyes and your lip quivers. You can't even bother looking at him. Nobody takes you seriously. Not even him.

Were your ideas really that shitty? Shitty enough that even your boyfriend finds it laughable?

You close your laptop and abruptly stand up. You run to the bathroom still clutching your laptop to your chest. You lock it and crouch down to sob some more.

"Y/N! Baby, what's going on? What's the matter?" You hear Katsuki's shaky voice. He's panicking. You know he is. But you sob even more.

Katsuki follows you. Now there's only a door separating you.

"Baby, please, tell me what's going on. Are you hurt?" he starts asking a lot of questions. Questions that you don't have it in you to answer yet.

"Damn it, Y/n! Open the door! Please!" despite your on-going breakdown, you still appreciate Katsuki's patience. You know what he really wants to do is to blast the door away. He's had a lot of growth since you two started dating. Both of you have. You try to calm down as you recall that one of the things that made your relationship as strong as it is today is the promise of communication.

"J-just. Give me.. please, uh give me some time?" you stutter out in between sobs. Meanwhile, Katsuki sighs. There still panic in his eyes and deep worry etched on his face but at least you responded.

"Okay, I'm right out here." he sat down leaning his back against the door. He thinks about what could possible have happened.

After almost a half hour, you emerge. Katsuki is quick to stand and look at you, scanning if there are any physical injuries. He's just about to ask you again if you're okay but he's frozen. His heart aches at the redness of your puffy eyes and tear streaks down your face.

You both stand in silence. Him due to concern meanwhile you due to shame. Shame of your sudden outburst. Shame of your ideas. Shame of your shitty job. and finally, shame that even your boyfriend doesn't seem to think you're capable.

He's a hero for fuck's sake, he saves people for a living. You can't even do your office job right and here you are throwing a tantrum.

You can't help the shakiness of your voice as you finally break the deafening silence. "Do you- do.." you take a moment to try to compose yourself. "Are my ideas really that pathetic?". You look at him as tears reappear in your eyes.

Katsuki looks at you confused, he tilts his head and his eyebrows scrunch. "What?" He's wiping away the tears before he can even think about it. He caresses your cheeks as he steps closer. "What are you saying, baby? What's wrong?"

You look down and lean away from his hands. "You- you laughed. Why?" A million thoughts race in your mind. Did he finally see that you're not competent enough for a hero like him? Is he gonna break up with you? Maybe your coworkers were right about you.

Now, Katsuki's even more confused, trying to recall when he laughed. Finally he recalls the moment right before you stormed off. His gaze softens and he takes your hand in his.

"Honey, no, I wasn't laughing." Your sadness turns into anger at his words. "You're lying! I heard you! You can't gaslight your way out of this. If you have something to say, just say it!" You were shaking at this points. You didn't actually mean it. In fact, you didn't want to hear what he had to say. You weren't sure you could handle it.

"I chuckled." Now it's your turn to look confused. "Yeah, that's the fucking issue, Katsuki."

"No, no, you don't understand. I didn't laugh, i chuckled. Heck, it was even closer to a giggle." You looked at him as if he was talking nonsense. and in your mind, it really didn't make any sense.

"You were so excited, talking about your project. I always love it when you do. You're so damn passionate and determined - it's one of the reasons I liked you in the first place. You were different from the other extras." you can't stop the hint of a smile that appears on your lips which he immediately notices. He visibly relaxes a bit and smirks.

The smirk changes into a smile as he says the following "I was so proud. You were adorable as you work on your dream job. I couldn't help but smile. Apparently not only smile but also chuckle."

"Honey, I wasn't making fun of you. I promise."

Your anger dissipates and your sadness reemerges. Tears stream down your face as you hug Katsuki. You sob while venting about work, and how you feel, the imposter syndrome, just everything. He listens and rocks you back and forth trying to soothe you. He kissed the top of your head. He's never been good with words, so he does what he can do to show that he's here for you. His first instinct was actually to get mad at your coworkers and boss, but he knows now is not the time. His baby needs him. He carries you bridal style to your bedroom as you continue to cry and recount your shitty month. He orders some food and puts on your favorite movie and he hugs and kisses you, offering you a few encouraging words.

Weeks later he tells you to quit your job. He pulled some strings and now you're working on a brand new building. All from scratch. An amazing and high-tech building for the newly formed DynaRiot Agency. You both celebrate and you go to work as soon as you can. After all, DynaMight only settles for the best.

There’s a mysterious figure that has been coming to the koopa castle recently

Everyone was very wary of the man who wore a mask and a cloak with simple, loosefitting clothing except any concerns of intentions from him was quickly dispersed once everyone found out that Bowser’s the one who brought him in one day, showing him around the castle proudly so he couldn’t possibly be an enemy no matter how suspicious he looked…right?

He was also terribly kind and soft-spoken, barely ever speaking, any louder than just above a whisper

The staff questions about the man shifted from why is he here and what does he want to who is he and how did Bowser find him?

Especially since they saw Bowser holding the mysterious figures hand, especially when Bowser would have brunch with him, requesting everyone even Kamek to knock on the doors before entering, just in case, if said, mysterious figure was with him.

After some time, people finally somewhat got a title, although everyone knew it was nothing but an alias since “Mr. L” is clearly not his true name

I was thinking about how most fan fictions had Bowser and Luigi being public knowledge to the castle’s employees and how cool it would be if Luigi was like this mysterious figure that nobody knew about because Luigi said how he wanted to keep the relationship a secret and Bowser said how he wanted to (insert excuse for the Weegee to go to the castle here( lol I couldn’t decide on anything))

so for a compromise, Luigi would go in disguise, wearing nothing of his usual clothing, except for his boots and color scheme

 Sometimes the castle cards can spot the hidden plumber, running away from the bundle of Koopalings 

Luigi is use to being in the shadows, so he’s subconsciously sneaky, which causes many of the staff to jump when he “ suddenly” appears

 imagine if one day Mario and peach go to Bowser’s castle because they were wondering what the fuck he was doing because he hasn’t kidnapped anybody in a hot minute only for Luigi to also be there but in disguise and mario was like “who is this” for Bowser to respond with “none of your goddamn business”

polycule anon is back i have more thoughts (just gonna use ✨ as a sort of tag so you know it’s me lmao)

i have more hcs:

- more tacomic centered but i could totally see mic fidgeting via doing taco’s hair in tiny little braids. not only bc it’s cute but also bc i think taco really likes having her hair played with for some reason. just thinking about them watching a movie together with taco leaning against mic while mic braids and unbraids her hair to keep her hands busy

- i love the nest hc that i’ve seen on this blog as well and i think it’d be 10x more fun with the polycule. girl is stealing all of their clothes and there’s nothing they can do to stop her. she is such a little thief

- again related to a hc mentioned on this blog: taco hoarding stuff. she totally steals random little trinkets from everyone in the polycule (provided they’re not important to them bc she would never upset them like that) and stashes it away in one of her little hiding spots that nobody else can fit in. sometimes just to mess with them she’ll return it to the exact same spot she found it in days or weeks later. mepad is 100% sure it’s her but just lets her keep doing it since it’s not harming anyone

- just. all the little passing touches between them all. hand holding, little kisses when they’re saying hello or goodbye, etc. i personally think taco is really sensitive to touch bc it’s just been so long, so she reacts a lot better to random light touches than sudden hugs or smth. in turn she’d probably act the same with everyone else since it’s what she’s comfortable with. so just. constant little passing touches whenever they see each other

- i love the wingman idea you mentioned so much. i think it’d be extra funny if mepad was completely aware that taco liked him but knew she needed to take her time sorting it out and all. he’d probably wait for her to come to him unless it becomes increasingly obvious that she won’t and he has to do something or she’s just going to be constantly trying to awkwardly flirt with him but never going any further

- give me taco and toilet bonding over the fact that they both messed up so much but still have people that care about them and want to help them. they are genuinely so similar to each other it drives me insane

- mepad is so sweet with all of them even before they get together. he’s always willing to help comfort any of them and is the first to offer up encouragement or kind words. i think he’d also be the first to say how proud he is of them when they do something they’ve struggled with in the past (ex. mic standing up for herself, she’s def gotten better about it but i’m sure she still struggles at times; taco actually communicating properly and being more open about her emotions; i don’t have a example for toilet tbh i tried coming up with one and just couldn’t)

- related to the above, mepad definitely has to help mediate when taco and mic have issues in their relationship. they both tend to fall back into their own patterns which is not healthy and only really causes problems. he notices them start to avoid each other a bit and sits them both down to talk out what happened and why they’re both upset. it helps when he knows enough about taco to figure out what she may have done even if she won’t say it

Oh yeah he would absolutely be the mediator for them. He's an excellent mediator anyways, and for Taco and Mic he'd have such a solid understand of both of them he'd really be able to help them work it out. Toilet tried once when Mepad was taking a well-deserved Me-day and. Well nothing actually got resolved but it did dissolve into chaos that left them all laughing so hard that Taco and Mic forgot what they were upset about. Thank you, Toilet <3.

Hi! First I want to say I love your writing and I think it's amazing keep it up! I wanted to ask if you could do a fic/headcanon about a jinx like reader (the one from arcane) like the reader has her personality and her backstory they can be any gander you want. For characters you can go wild but I would like if Alastor, Lucifer and Vox were there. Bonus points if the reader is a teen that is alive and nobody knows how they got here but don't want to send them back because they are frankly terrified for them. Sorry it's so long. ╰﹒he wouldn’t feel safe telling the others of your presence in the hotel—at least, not as of the first few hours of getting to know you. he would DEFINITELY warn you about alastor and put up a fight with you to keep you from leaving his room so soon. he wants to tell charlie you’re here, but doesn’t know if she can keep something this big a secret.

╰﹒ “you’ll be eaten alive out there! and even if you don’t leave the hotel, the crew isn’t exactly the best at, well—subtlety,” lucifer would warn you with his hands on your shoulders.

╰﹒ your past would also be similar to lucifer’s in the sense that you both felt utterly abandoned by the person you trusted the most, and lucifer would sit down with you and talk to you about it if you ever opened up to him, rubbing your back in slow circles, getting you water and leaving the room only to come back with gourmet meals that he cooked himself from the hotel’s kitchen.

╰﹒i feel like you’d have a complicated relationship with lucifer at first. because of how sweet and good he is at comforting and taking care of you you’d feel like his kid, too, but then reality kicks in every now and then that he has another kid who’s actually his biological child to take care of, and it makes you feel bad for not having your own family. but it’s only a matter of time before lucifer finally introduces you to charlie and charlie gives you the biggest bear hug in the world, and you’re too engulfed by your yearning to feel loved to feel jealous over her anymore, so you hug her back. you and charlie become basically siblings over your time at the hotel, and lucifer treats both of you like his children. and of course, charlie doesn’t mind when it seems like lucifer pays attention to you a little more because one, she’s older than you, and she’s an adult that can handle herself, two, she knows how much you’re in need of a father figure and she knows her father can and will be there when you need him.

ALASTOR would circle around you with prying eyes brimming with twisted interest, looking over your shoulders and dusting them off as he picked at the stray hairs on your head.

╰﹒ similarly to luci, he’d definitely keep you a secret up in his own as well, and when you’d protest he somehow find a way of easing your nerves and calming you down. in due time, he’d say. his head pats got to you at first. the fact that he stopped you from exploring the hotel got to you. first, he brings you here, but now he won’t even let you out of his room in the name of safety? what is up with that?

ꉂ ． ݁ ✦ “what’s all the hubbub?”

╰﹒ “the hubbub, dear, is that you’ll cause a commotion in the hotel,” alastor would reply with a tap of his microphone. “i can’t afford to alarm our guests now, and i certainly can’t have you overwhelmed by your new environment, now can i?”

╰﹒ alastor would explain the purpose of the hotel in his very demented perspective, but you would understand nonetheless. he would make you feel like his student in no time.

╰﹒ alastor would definitely teach you how to defend yourself in case you get attacked. you already know some basics about fending for yourself, but considering you’re leaning towards the mechanic side you don’t know how to use your bare hands. so he teaches you. he also gives you some really neat knife skills that he learned from when he was still a mortal serial killer.

╰﹒ niffty and you get along so well, and similar to lucifer and charlie, alastor treats you and niffty as his nieces, while he’s the cool uncle. he’s a bit of a bad influence on you, but it’s better than having no one at all.

╰﹒ when alastor finally introduces you to the rest of the hotel, everyone immediately noticed how protective/fatherly alastor actually was towards you. the difference is also very obvious considering the fact that he pretended to be a father figure to charlie in the past just to get on lucifer’s nerves, but now, a bit of his true colors show all because he’d spent too much time shaping you into the person you are now for him not to care. but considering alastor barely even had a heart before, everyone warmed up in no time to alastor’s soft side, and you even heard of charlie being excited about the fact that this could mean alastor will have a shot and being redeemed one day.

“huh. where have you come from, my dear? … the livi — haha, pardon? did you say … well fuck me silly, this is exactly what i needed after a hard day’s work.”

VOX was definitely being sarcastic with his teeth gritted through his sentence. nonetheless, you could have proved to be useful somehow considering your … moxie.

╰﹒ he would definitely consider signing you in for a contract, but given your personality you just seemed like the kind of person who would end up breaking the rules intentionally or unintentionally, meaning he’d just have to kill you—and that’s a complete waste of a living soul in hell, isn’t it?

╰﹒ so you’re under his care. for now, he thinks to himself, and despite how much he actually loathes having to deal with val’s shit, you were just different. you seemed content with his efforts in trying to please you, as small as they were at first, and was patient with him when he was rude or aloof. and sometimes you’d even help out with house chores that his many gadgets just couldn’t complete. he would even fall asleep on his desk sometimes and wake up with a warm blanket draped over him, and of course that had to be your doing.

╰﹒ “i’m doing this for your own good, okay kid, i’m telling you it’s not easy out there, and …” vox bit his lip. he didn’t expect his heart to beat so fast when you insisted to leave with gritted teeth. at this point, he’d almost forgotten how it felt like not to live with someone as unreasonably kind and funny as you had been. “judging by everything you’ve got going on i don’t think it’s the best idea for you to return to the living world. i mean, don’t you like it here? what is it that i haven’t given you? what can i do?”

╰﹒ obviously, you’re still angry, and he’s already done enough. he can’t keep you in forever, and as much as you enjoyed your time with him, he’s made it clear that living in hell just wasn’t feasible for you. you stay inside but that doesn’t lessen your anger at all.

╰﹒ meanwhile, the other vees have noticed vox was getting soft. he was still very much willing to kill low earning employees or employees who so much as implied that they don’t think too fondly of the vees’ companies, but he’s been a lot less moody, less whiney, and even less … obsessed with alastor? if that made sense? even if he watched alastor he was no longer as loud as he used to be, and it was worrying val and velvette. “oh for fuck’s sake—if anyone’s soft, it’s you assholes!” vox would yell when they didn’t drop the issue. so they left him alone after that point, hoping he would tell them what’s wrong.

first of all i wanna start off with this. if you think they were ever “in a relationship” or “girlfriends” you are making your first mistake. here we have a woman who has just lost her mother and the real love of her life within a week, and then immediately she is handed more power than she even truly knows what to do with, try as she might to make it seem like she has it under control. she’s grieving and heartbroken but she doesn’t have time to manage anything  because she has a war to deal with. and then we have her subordinate, her coworker. imagine you are a girl with a raging hard on for power who has just witnessed a very hot officer ascend to leader of her house and your commander. she’s also in such a vulnerable position that it would be impossible not to offer her your shoulder to cry on. caitlyn is not herself, maddie is a horny twenty year old lesbian. i don’t believe that maddie was a traitor from the beginning, but i do think she was being remarkably selfish and did not care that caitlyn was using her. furthermore, i think she was into that part of it.

THAT BEING SAID! there is nothing wholesome about what was going on between the two of them. maddie’s smart, and she feeds cait all the praise and validation she needs to create a bandaid on her heart, and caitlyn takes it all in because nobody else is around to take care of her. at a point where she has never felt more unloved, here is a girl willing to smother her. fine. 

i do think that the deleted scene where maddie approaches caitlyn at a bar and has a heart to heart with her did happen. i think that’s how it started. i think they shot the shit and had a few too many drinks and caitlyn invited maddie home with her, and it startled her the next morning when she realized she didn’t feel any regret about it, only a dull sort of. well. that happened. it was kind of cathartic? i actually think she had a spring in her step following the first time, which pissed her off because it meant for sure that this probably wasn’t going to be a one time thing. and it wasn’t. 

maddie loves it. she sees it as being useful and helpful, but she also folds so easily for a girl who will boss her around. she’s a follower to her core: when someone’s in charge, she has to be the best for them (i.e. gold star sticker — good job, maddie!) 

maddie lovesss getting to stay the night at cait’s. her sheets are soft and always clean, there’s no risk of being interrupted or overheard, and she will take every opportunity to use her fancy shower (and maybe— no, definitely— all of her expensive products. you can’t convince me that she isn’t secretly having everything showers with cait’s stuff) 

maddie is an abhorrent bed sharer— blanket stealer, toss and turner, the works. the only way cait is able to get under the covers fully is if she snuggles up to maddie, which maddie occasionally (unwisely) mistakes as genuine affection. its not, really. (although, cait will sometimes relish in the comfort a little more than she should, too. but she’s more aware of herself) 

i wish i had a clear answer on how i think maddie switched sides, but it’s so difficult to sort out in my head because i do think season 2’s writing is really flawed in a lot of ways (not an unpopular opinion), one of those being maddie’s whole character. i think ambessa manipulated her though, i don’t think maddie turned on cait on her own. if anyone has thoughts on this i’d be interested to hear them!

im so late replying to this but i have SOOO many ideas on the zelda movie au!! let me share some lore hehe

So you know the spiderman actor and his love interest actress dating curse? how every actor that has played spiderman ends up dating the actress for mj / gwen Stacy? i like to think it's a similar trend with the zelink actors, except not all of them are dating. Botw / totk zelink DEFINETLY and the actors like to keep the details of their relationship private, but Link is NOT shy about how head over heels he is for zelda

Skyward sword zelink? you can never tell. it's the type of dynamic where Twitter stans are dying to know and interviewers always ask them about it but they both dodge the question successfully each time. They could be besties. They could be secretly married. Nobody knows.

Now, oot zelink are not dating, but in my head they're like Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson. Ride or die besties, and they're the biggest oot zelink shippers you'll ever find.

Tp zelink aren't necessarily dating, perhaps some tension (?) however i like to think that their dynamic is more a trio one with midna's actress, who's best friends with zelda and they both playfully bully link

You know who else bullies link? oot ganondorf's actor. Irl he's actually in super good relations with every cast member and probably the warmest kindest most solid dude you'll ever meet but in every interview, every red carpet, every con event he always pretends like oot link is a nuisance and that he's only doing this because he's getting paid. When the Wind waker releases, he's obviously cast again (because duh, same ganondorf, so he's also in the Twilight Princess movie), and he takes care of link and tetra very well on set and makes sure they're always comfortable as child actors, all while he acts to be this super evil guy on camera. I love this duality, I feel like he would be so chill to talk to

In a way, I feel like the major cast from the franchise all know each other one way or another whether they're friends or just professional colleagues, they all relate to each other in some way. There's always a playful competition between botw and ss zelink actors on which pairing is the best, tp link's actor always jokingly disses wind waker for its seemingly childish approach while ww link insists his movie has the better soundtrack.

And now I'm rambling, and I definetly did not mean to dump this all on your ask omg I'm so sorry but this au transpires so much fun to me it makes me silly
