Alright, here's them rated hardest to make cry to easiest-- and keep note, this is specifically in the context of someone trying to hurt their feelings (and them knowing). Because the order would change in so many ways for so many different things (who cries most under stress, who cries most if someone they care for is hurt, etc, etc)

Hardest to easiest: Sabir, Jost, Nikke + Syfyn, Amilia, Vethna

Freedom (is their own thing)

Sabir: Sabir, in general, is a vulnerable person. He likes being honest when he's not in "politician mode", likes sharing his feelings, feels comfort in openly showing his emotions which includes crying. But if for whatever reason someone starts really trying to hurt his feelings, that man can just... shut them off. I mean really turn off his emotions. It's honestly unsettling, and probably very disturbing. You won't be able to make him cry. Like... you just won't.

That being said, there are some people I don't think Sabir could ever muster the strength to do that to. It's not that he's not capable of it, it's that he'd rather be open and allow himself to be hurt by the person he loves than ever shut them out. (Looks at evil MCs nervously...)

Jost: Jost is pretty similar to Sabir, except she's always on the emotional defensive. She doesn't let people in ever, and because of that, it's hard to get a sad reaction from her. That being said, Jost is like... hilariously easy to piss off but that can go from being funny to being really upsetting to witness real quick. Because of that, I think it's possible, if you keep pressing hard enough, to make Jost cry from anger and rage. But you'd have to keep her cornered, cause she'd try to make a run for it before that could happen.

Nikke + Syfyn: They're tied! They both have pretty strong brave faces, but at their core, they're both such loyal and dedicated people that their strong face would crack, inevitably. Seeing someone they care for lash out at them, use their weaknesses against them, would be enough to make them start breaking down. But it wouldn't be soft crying. It'd be angry, defensive, confused. And they'd both probably storm off at the end and retreat into themselves. The only difference is Syfyn is terrible at holding a grudge and keeping a cold shoulder (MC snapping is a *cough* exception), and Nikke is a little too good at it.

Amilia: Amilia, honestly, is probably equal to Nikke + Syfyn in terms of how much you'd have to throw at her to make her actually start crying, but she's a lot more vulnerable. She won't hide the fact she's becoming upset, she'll beg for the other person to just stop, and when they don't... she'd just start crying. Not ugly crying, not breaking down, but she'd make no attempt to hide her tears as she sniffles. I think Amilia is comfortable in that sadness in a way the others aren't, and she has no problem being blunt in that sadness-- asking the other person if they're happy they made her hurt (and genuinely asking, not just saying it to spite them). It's hard to explain... maybe I'll get the chance to write it... in game... (*looks at camera dramatically*)

Vethna: Don't. Please don't. If someone close to Vethna, at this point, just straight up turned on them and started throwing shit at their face in a fight to purposely hurt them and was just outwardly downright malicious, Vethna wouldn't even put up a fight. They'd probably try to look indignant, nonchalant, and unfazed, throwing a witty, sharp retort your way... but that would probably last a total of ten seconds before they just start crying. I get this image in my head of Vethna almost seeming child-like when they cry-- pouted lips, huffing breaths, avoiding the other person's gaze. I think Vethna has too many "sore spots" in their self-worth and confidence to be able to handle something like that with any sort of grace. But the worst part is I think that leaves them very susceptible to manipulation. Vethna craves approval from the people around them, so it would be easy to use their vulnerability against them.

Freedom: Okay, Freedom is just hovering all around because emotions are so wonderfully bizarre and strange to/for them. I don't think you could make Freedom cry if you were just like... "I'm gonna be a dick because I'm annoyed or angry" and started insulting them. They'd just look at you with a raised brow and vaguely amused expression. But if someone was close to them, and genuinely upset by something Freedom did, and that person was hurt and fighting back tears and lashing out as a response... then I believe that would make Freedom cry. MC + Freedom are very innately connected, and I think feeling the weight of those emotions on them if they're close would be enough to make Freedom start crying... and then become incredibly confused by it. They're definitely a pretty crier though-- like, their face is all stone-still and then their tears run down all dramatically...

Mushroom Oasis (Visual Novel)

Mushroom Oasis is very cute, and I love Mychael's design a love (I'm a huge sucker for good monster design). @deerspherestudios always seems to make pretty nice games with cute characters and it was really nice to be able to hang out with Mychael! The artwork in it is also very pretty and cozy, much like Mychael himself.

The story starts out with the MC losing their cat, and has become worried about their disappearance. After being unable to look for them, they desperately look into the forest near their house. After wandering for a very long time, they end up stepping in a fairy circle, where they pass out due to the spores after finding their cat's collar.

Waking up in a cabin, they are tended by someone with messy hair. The two of them talk for a while, with the guy revealing himself to be named Mychael. The MC finds Mychael's appearance to be a little bit odd given the horns, his green skin and his pointed ears. The MC tries to ask Mychael where their cat is, showing them a picture of her, but Mycheal doesn't seem to know. Mychael seems touched that the MC is willing to go out of their way to find their cat, and is happy to make conversation with him. While the MC tries to go home, Mycheal seems to convince them using his spores that they should stay. Mycheal brings the MC to the kitchen and offers them food.

If the MC refuses and leaves, Mycheal will reluctantly let them, but as they walk, they end up falling to the forest's influence, passing out. The end is Mycheal walking sadly to see the body of the MC taken by the mushrooms in the ground next to their cat.

If they agree, Mycheal will cook them something and the MC eats it eagerly. The two talk about why Mycheal lives in the woods until the MC accidentally drops their mug on the floor... which Mycheal catches with his tail, later revealing his four eyes. This can lead the MC to either freak out or stay calm.

If the MC decides to calm down, Mycheal will become bashful hiding behind his plate, telling the MC that he'd be willing to hide his eyes if they'd prefer. The MC drinks the tea, and reassures Mycheal about his appearance. Mycheal insists on having the MC stay for the night.

If the MC freaks out, they will try to escape. Mycheal tries to get them to calm down. They can either attempt to take the sewing needles as a defense or leave them.

Leaving them will cause Mycheal to grab the MC forcefully and use his spores to brainwash them into calming down. He cries a bit, sad that he won't be able to love the "real" MC but is willing to play along with the sedated and brainwashed version of them. The MC is then brainwashed into believing that they've been with Mycheal all of their life as Mycheal plays along with this state.

Taking the needles will cause Mycheal to release spores to get the MC to calm down, however, if the MC does attack him, the needles are stabbed into his heart causing him to fall down bleeding. As Mycheal dies on the floor, he talks about how happy he was that the MC was there with him before dying. The MC feels regret.

I gotta say that this artwork is way, WAY too pretty, from the backgrounds to the characters, it's just really cozy and it's great. I love Mychael's design since I love looking at unique monster designs and it's pretty cool seeing a mushroom based monster character. His four eyes are just so expressive, and he has cute expressions. The creator really has to pull on the heartstrings on the ending where he dies though, don't they.

As a yandere, Mychael is pretty interesting because he is pretty much doing the right thing in forcing the MC to stay with him. As we see in the bad endings, if the MC does end up leaving Mychael's cabin, then they end up being taken by the forest much like their cat, so subduing the MC using his spores is probably the best he can do to make sure that they don't leave, even if it's likely out of selfishness as well since he is pretty lonely. The spores do raise up the question of how powerful his mind control is, as we see that sometimes the MC can break out of it, while in others, such as the ending where the MC is braindead, they can pretty much completely erase their memory. It might come down to how much is released in the air or even what kinds are released. It's possible it might come from his eyes as well, since they turn into a sort of pink hypnotic state. Mind control in yandere stories is an interesting topic to get into since it goes into the idea of if the yandere is okay with an MC that doesn't really have a free will anymore and the amount of angst if they do ever snap out of it. Mychael is a curious creature since I'm not sure we know where he came from or if he's the only one of his kind. My theory is that he's some sort of mutation with the forest (since he's able to sort of tell when the forest "takes" someone and is unaffected by it or at least knows how to avoid it) and possibly was chased out by humans at some point as well (thus his complex about his appearance) so he's forced into isolation. Or I'm completely wrong since there can be a lot of reasons why he isolates himself so much. Also, his blushing sprite? Adorable, I love it.

Overall, a pretty cute demo. I like how it's introduced with the MC running after their cat which I feel is pretty different from how other VNs I've played initially introduce their MC. I'm curious to see how Mycheal will develop as a yandere as the story goes on.

I'm continuing my daily chat series, but it's a completely random order. I originally wrote a scene for one of Lucifer's Nightbringer chats, but it ended up being so angsty and sad that I decided not to post it. I wanted to write some fluff! So this chat is from the OG. Though if anyone actually wants to read the sad Nightbringer one, I'll post it lol just hit up the ask box.

LUCIFER: Could you come to the council room after class? I'm absolutely buried in paperwork. I just can't seem to catch up. I was hoping that you could help me feel better with your presence. All you have to do is sit beside me. Would that be possible?

MC: Are you sure you want me?

LUCIFER: Indeed. It has to be you, MC. Please head straight to the council room once your classes are over. And be warned that I won't be letting you go for the rest of the day.

You stretched as the bell finally rung through the classroom, indicating the end of Seductive Speechcraft. You shoved Mammon, who was engrossed in his D.D.D. and didn't seem to notice the end of class. He looked up at you as you stood from the desk, then looked around at the other students already leaving the room.

"C'mon," you said. "Class is over."

You picked up your bag, slinging it onto your shoulder and heading toward the door.

Mammon scrambled to follow you. "Finally!" he said. "Man, that class is borin'."

You both started down the hall together, but Mammon stopped when you took an unexpected turn, headed toward the council room.

"Oi! Where are ya goin'? Home's this way!" he said, gesturing down the opposite hall from the one you were going down.

You paused and turned back to him. "I know, but I told Lucifer I'd go to the council room after class."

Mammon shuddered. "Why would ya do that?"

You shrugged. "He asked me to."

Mammon seemed to consider this for a moment. He frowned and muttered to himself, "Yeah, he's got a lot of paperwork…"

"You think I should just go home instead?" you asked.

Mammon waved a hand at you. "Nah. Go on, ya don't want to keep him waitin'!"

You nodded. "All right, then I'll see you later."

Mammon waved goodbye as you headed back down the hall. You smiled to yourself as you went. Mammon always wanted to be with you, but he understood Lucifer, too. He knew that Lucifer would be able to get through his piles of work easier if you were by his side.

You reached the council room door and found it slightly ajar already. You opened it further and stepped inside, pausing there in the doorway.

Lucifer was already seated at a desk that was absolutely covered in piles of paper. You grimaced at the towering stacks.

Lucifer looked up and saw you, a satisfied smile crossing his features. "Ah, MC. Thank you for coming."

"Of course," you said, moving across the room. There was a chair positioned on the side of the desk and when you sat in it, you were facing Lucifer. "Is this where you want me to sit?"

"Yes," he said. "As I mentioned before, all you need to do is sit beside me."

"All right," you said. "Then I'll sit beside you for as long as you need me to."

Lucifer smiled at you, his expression unusually soft.

As he resumed his work, you took out a textbook and began to read. The room was quiet, filled only with the sound of your breathing and the soft hssh of Lucifer's fountain pen. Occasionally you would flip a page or Lucifer would pull another item from one of his many stacks.

You were comfortable in the padded chair and in Lucifer's presence. He had asked you to come here to make him feel better, but you couldn't deny that being with him made you feel better, too. You sat in companionable silence for some time, each of you focused on your respective work.

A few moments passed before you realized you could no longer hear the sound of Lucifer's pen. You looked up from your book to see him staring at you.

When your eyes met, he smiled. It was a knowing, possessive smile that sent a little shiver down your spine in a good way.

You fidgeted a little, suddenly shy to be under his gaze. "Do you want a snack?" you asked, reaching for your bag. "I have some pastries Luke gave me earlier."

"I suppose I can take a short break," he said, as though he wasn't already ignoring the papers in front of him in favor of staring at you.

You pulled out the little bag of pastries Luke had given you, opening it and handing one to Lucifer before taking one for yourself.

As you nibbled on the sweet treat, you regarded Lucifer as he leaned back a little in his own chair. He looked tired as he ate the little pastry you had given him. He was good at covering it up when he was overtired, but you knew. After all the time you'd spent with him, you could tell.

You noticed right away when, upon finishing the pastry, Lucifer began to stretch out his fingers slowly. He paid extra attention to his writing hand.

You frowned. Certainly he was getting cramps in his hands after all this work. You finished off your own pastry, then held out a hand to him, determination stamped across your features.

Lucifer looked at your open hand, then looked up at your face. He frowned. "What is it you want, MC?"

"Your hand," you said.

Lucifer smirked. "Ah, I see. You should have told me sooner."

He put his hand into yours, gripping it tightly. You turned his hand over, fingers sliding beneath the edge of his black glove.

"What are you doing now?" he asked.

You didn't respond right away, instead slowly removing his glove, carefully pulling out every finger. You set the glove aside on the desk then took his hand in both of yours. You began to press your thumbs into his palm, massaging it gently.

Lucifer sucked in a breath at this action, which caused him to blush. He frowned again.

"Did you think I didn't notice the way you were flexing your fingers as though they were in pain?" you asked, eyes on your task. "I know you have a lot of work to do, Lucifer, but you really need to be more careful. You could really hurt yourself. What if you got carpal tunnel or something?"

Lucifer's soft laugh caused you to look up at him. "Do you really think demons can get carpal tunnel?"

You had to consider this question because it wasn't something that had occurred to you. "That really isn't the point," you said at last, continuing to massage Lucifer's hand, now working on each individual finger. "You were experiencing pain from too much work and that means you should stop for a bit. Whether you can actually get carpal tunnel or not isn't relevant."

You were taken by surprise when he pulled his hand from yours, turned it around, and interlaced your fingers with his. He stood up from the desk, pulling you up with him. You were now in close proximity and your eyes widened as your heart began to race.

He was smirking again as he reached up to brush your cheek with his other hand, still gloved. "I hope you know that you are the only one who would dare to scold me like this and get away with it."

You tried to calm yourself even as you felt the blood rushing into your cheeks. You met his gaze seriously. "I just want you to take care of yourself."

This statement seemed to genuinely touch Lucifer. His smirk fell away and he pulled you even closer. Your hand was still tightly gripped in his and his other arm circled around your back. "You needn't worry so much about me, MC. I will always be at my best as long as you are beside me."

I know it's late but can I ask for the' kings'reactions to a MC who dislikes sexual activities (maybe because of their past)?

I'm craving the angst now 🤤 but maybe it will end with happiness as always 🫶

Honestly, I don't think the kings would have a big problem with lack of sex. If you smack them in the hand to keep them from touching and tell them why you don't want it, it will flow off them like nothing happened. Maybe they'll get a little angry at first, that's all. They want the best.

If we want angst, let's be creative. Assume that this aversion to sex is heightened to such an extent that it prevents the sharing of demonic energy and threatens our lives.

Satan is surprised that you don't want sex and annoyed that you don't want to cooperate. You need demonic energy to live in Hell. If you refuse everything related to it, even slightly, you will not survive here. Your words that you can then go back to earth where you belong are driving him crazy. You promised you would help them. Are you going to break your promise? If so, then go ahead and come back, but then he doesn't have to keep his end of the deal either. When you come back, Minhyeok will be dead again. Your argue will be fierce, the castle will shake to its foundations. If you really want to survive without sex, you better find a demon who will politely put you back home, because Satan has no intention of helping traitors.

Mammon is… unmoved. My imagination is too small and his love is too great for me to imagine a scenario where he is furious by his master's behavior. If you refuse sex, he will mainly be sad and concerned. Will suggest a lot of other solutions. The main one will be giving you milk from the horns to drink, without telling you what it is. When you find out, you'll get mad, wanting nothing to do with sex, but even then, he won't raise his voice to you. He won't let you die in such a stupid way, and order you to drink it. Although, it breaks his heart. He can be firm when he wants, and you either accept it or have it forcibly injected into your body.

Beelzebub thought it was some fun at first. He tries to get to you, and you pretend to be cold and distant. However, he slowly begins to get impatient. He takes you on trips to earth all the time, so you don't need demonic energy. But why do you reject him, don't you even let him embrace you? He will start to forget about you, if you hate him so much, stay in hell where you have demons that you like more. When he finds out that you don't want energy from them either, he will be just irritated. He will come back regularly to take you back to earth, but the atmosphere between you will become more and more intense, until one day he will simply disappear and not take you back to hell.

Leviathan finds the matter very simple. You don't want demonic energy? Then die. He may even help you and throw you into a coffin to be eaten, hanging would be an honor you don't deserve. He knew you were stupid, but to be this stupid? Not respecting a life that can be lost so easily? And all this because of idiotic grimaces? Sometimes you have to do something you hate to survive. He won't let you die only if he absolutely needs you, and then he will force you to accept demonic energy. He won't touch you because he knows how it hurts. But he will pour milk from the horns down your throat, whether you like it or not.

What if someone is very actively flirting with RO, making heart eyes at them, complimenting, smiling sweetly, etc. The MC looks at them from afar. They don't like it, they are jealous and upset, but they can't say anything because they are too shy and not sure if RO likes such attention from this person or not. So, MC just sends sad glances in their direction.

What will the ROs do? (if it's a crush stage)

Awe! Poor shy MC. I think it's safe to say that their feelings won't go unnoticed…I see this happening, in a tavern (because of course), with MC sitting alone at a table as they watch the bustle around them. There's a semi-similar ask, that you might also like linked below too!

Oswin:  He's annoyed at the attention from this person and is waiting to politely exit the conversation. While trying to maintain patience, his eyes find MC's, but they look away the moment their gazes meet. He can tell something isn't right, they look uncomfortable, distressed even. He leaves the other person without a word, taking a knee next to MC's chair. "It's okay, I'm here."

Zahn:  They don't mind being flirted with, but it's lost its luster recently since there's always someone else on their mind these days. It begins to nag at them while they have to force a laugh at the stranger's dumb joke. This isn't as fun as it normally is, it feels weird. MC keeps drifting in and out of their mind, so they scan the tables, spotting MC fidgeting in their seat. They look sad. Zahn keeps looking until MC feels their gaze and looks up. When their eyes meet, Zahn smiles wide. They know where they need to be right now.

Duri:  The song and dance is familiar - lingering gazes, brisk touches against their shoulder and coy smiles - the attention is not abnormal for them. A group is clustered around them with questions and compliments, trying to provoke a reaction. Duri remembers how red MC's face gets when they tease them and smiles. They look over in time to see MC try to hide a sad face. Are they lonely? Or scared? Duri excuses themself, and hurries away despite the pleas for them to stay. They take a seat next to MC, hooking their foot on MC's chair to scoot them close suddenly. This is more fun.

Rune:  Dragging their hands up and down their face in barely-concealed annoyance. It's clear that MC is getting distressed. Rune has seen them glance over nearly a dozen times and their sweet face seems to get sadder and sadder each time. Patience suddenly runs out and they abruptly excuse themselves, walking back to MC's table. Rune caresses MC's jaw and cheek with the back of their hand. "I'm sorry that you feel uneasy. Please save me from those idiots and stay here with me." MC's red face is so sweet.

???:  He positions himself where he can easily see MC's face each time they look his way. They're so jealous. This is too cute. He laughs - loudly - at this idiot's innuendo. He's not interested, and this person hasn't taken the hint, but ??? likes seeing how flustered MC is getting. It's bittersweet since he doesn't want their feelings hurt, but it's beyond charming to see that they really are getting attached to him. A flutter of softness hits his chest, and he quietly slips away from the group around him, blending into the crowd. MC is looking around for him, but they don't see him coming up behind. Why is his heart racing so much? He gets close to MC's ear and whispers, "Jealousy looks good on you."
