Watching Eddie Begins with Buddie-colored glasses on is already crazy enough, but I just caught something that I never really thought about before. Athena tells Bobby that the news crews showing up before she leaves for another call might turn the call into a nationwide story. And then Buck absolutely LOSES it when 30 feet of wet earth falls on top of Eddie. So yeah, maybe Bobby pulls Buck away to stop him from futilely digging for Eddie with his hands, but maybe he also does it because he doesn’t want his kid’s grief and fear and love for Eddie being broadcast across the country. Especially not when Bobby thinks that Eddie’s probably already dead. And not only does Bobby pull Buck away from the well, he pulls back right into his lap. This is the closest we get to Bobby cradling Buck in his arms until the lightning strike, and it’s because he doesn’t want Buck to be in pain, and he most certainly does NOT want the tragedy of Eddie’s death to be made even worse by Buck’s pain over it being broadcast to the entire country.

So, as promised, only the top-most rated class will be redeemed and move on to Round 3, which in this case is a tie between Scyphozoa and Eutardigrada! Let’s welcome them back into the running and wish them luck in Round 3. Judging by how this round went… they’re going to need it. 🙃

was wondering are apologists for any dsmp character welcome here this is my first time on your blog and any boundaries?

Yup, everybody’s welcome here as long as you are respectful and kind… huh ya know I’ve never thought about boundaries, should I come up with some? Hmm or maybe just some notes perhaps?...

Things to note I guess:

1) I am here for my boy c!Dream, first and formost, :) though I do also talk about other characters sometimes too. However, I am not an everyone apologist, but I’m not going to say you’re wrong for liking another character or whatever. You have a right to love whichever character you want even if I really do personally loathe certain characters.

2) I am always right (oops jk). I mean we are all here to indulge in our love of the dsmp and this is a place for discussion, not arguing or just stating opinions with no willingness to see the other point of view.

3) I try to create a safe space of respect and kindness, so if you disagree with me that’s fine, I’d love to know the reasons why and talk about it. But please don’t just say something rude with no context, specifics, or reason. Questions, corrections and criticism can be productive, but hate and being rude is just pointless and not welcome. And if I ever come across as aggressive, just know it is unintentional. I do try to word things in a way that doesn’t sound like I’m bashing, just adding my 2 cents or whatever, but I do miss the mark sometimes.

4) I am all about lore and canon. I do have a few random thoughts/aus but I’m really more a stickler for canon. I love going to the source and just because something is widely excepted may not make it strictly true…

5) I personally don’t ship characters, it’s just not my cup of tea, so generally there won’t really be any of that type of discussion here.

6) I’m not old but my internet lingo and knowledge is lacking, so if it’s not commonly used, just assume I probably don’t know what the abbreviation or term is…
