tagging spoilers is funny.

with a movie, i woud be tagging spoilers for like at least a year. i think its bcs i know some people would rather wait until its out on streaming.

with an original series, i would be tagging spoilers because its recent, but like only a couple of weeks recent. its made out of shorter pieces, easier to consume in a busy schedule, so i would assume people would watch it quicker.

with an adaptation series (mostly in case for anime and manga) i would never tag anime spoiler and i would tag manga spoilers up until the point that its adapted. bcs anime onlys exist. i dont bother tagging spoilers right after an episode is released, youre already playing catch up.

with an original weekly series (manga, webcomics, etc) i would just tg spoiler for a week. or until another chapter came out.

so: cass is getting a batgirl solo series during all in, which is supposed to be DC’s new jumping off point starting in october. (unclear if it’s really a reboot or not?) but the series isn’t called cassandra cain: batgirl or anything like that. it’s just batgirl. they’re (hopefully) setting up cass as THE batgirl for whatever new era they have planned. so what about babs? well - either they keep trying to puppet the lifeless corpse of babsgirl even though cass is explicitly the main batgirl now OR (fingers crossed) they let her be oracle full time. i mean, that’s what makes sense, right? with cass as batgirl and the birds of prey with more than enough fighting members and not enough oracle…

Reminder: even if trump wins, we’ll be ok. The presidency isnt the only political position that matters, he wont be a dictator, the president doesnt have the power to remove every other part of government that keeps the president’s power in check. Also politics isnt the only thing that matters. Even if we lose some rights (which he cant singlehandedly do) we still have community, we still have activism, we’ll always be ok. We survived one trump presidency, we can survive another. We survived before gay marriage or transitioning were legal, if we have to survive that again we will. Please, no matter what happens, promise to stay alive. Youre valuable, youre important, and youre going to be ok. Its better to be overprepared than underprepared. Im not asking you to lose hope (im doing the opposite of that), im asking you to practice coping ahead, get all your coping skills ready, determine now to stay alive, because i dont want any of you to make any rash decisions later in case we get bad news and emotions are high.
