summary: You and Ellie have been in a band for as long as you can remember, you two were close with the other members but nothing like you and Ellie. A couple hours later after your last performance of the tour, Ellie decides she has to confess something to you.

Your heart was pumping as the lights flickered on, there were a lot more people at your bands concert than you expected. Tonight, the air felt different something inside it made you weary and calm. You had remembered what Ellie had taught you, breathe in — hold for 5 seconds — then breathe out and repeat.

You held your eyes closed for a bit until you felt loud thumps crash onto the floor and loud cheering from the overly excited crowd, it was Ellie, prettier than ever. Only her presence could calm your rapid heartbeat.

As soon as she started humming that was your hands cue to start. The way Ellie was singing was magical and that seemed to be all you could focus on, she was living her best life out on stage and you were there, just admiring how much more perfect could she get?

Your band’s performance that night was more than perfect. As you were walking back stage, with sweat dripping down your forehead you felt long and cold fingers snake around your wrist. You felt warmth rising to your cheeks.

“Hey y/n, you okay? I saw you were a bit uneasy tonight?” She was looking at you? You couldn’t speak, all you could focus on was her veiny hands and fuck, her goddamn raspy voice goddd.”y/nnn?” She snapped her fingers in your face twice, breaking you out of your trance.

“Oh yeah, haha sorry just sad it’s our last performance from this tour, it’s been fun.” She felt a warm smile creeping up on her cheeks, leaping onto you for a hug. “Where still gonna see eachother right?” You sniffled and she chuckled. “The bands not breaking up silly..” she whispered softly against your ear, which made you squirm underneath her touch.

You smelt s’good she thought, fuck that vanilla perfume you always wore. But it wasn’t just that, your natural sent drove her through the roof, you always left the room making everyone feel energised.

After cuddling with you for a bit she told you she would be back, she wanted to go say goodbye to the other hand meme bees before leaving. She left your heart pumping. “Tell them I said h- fuck— bye!” She chuckled and gave you a thumbs up before running over to them.

After a short amount of time she raced back and you were stalking her Instagram, nothing much just her cute little drawings. “I’m back!” She almost made you jump out of your seat.

“Didnt mean to scare ya sorry doll.” That nickname always made your heart flutter. Ellie peaked over your shoulder to see that you were stalking her Instagram, she didn’t know how to use it well but the only people she followed were you, Jesse, and Dina— (which are in the band). How cute, she thought.

Tonight was the night Ellie was going to confess her ongoing love for you, I mean it was weird— she never gave out any signs she was inlove with you? Maybe she’s just really good at masking stuff. It’s whatever.

“Hey doll?” You hummed giving her the ‘yes’ to go on. “You know I love you right?” You smiled at her, dimples showing, it made Ellie’s heart ache. “I love you too.” You hummed, scrolling through Instagram. “No like, I— I love you.” You looked up at her, eyes full of hope. “Els..” you looked into her eyes.

Her face inched away from you, hesitant wether or not to kiss you. So you cupped her cheek and pulled her closer to you, foreheads touching. She leant her lips down further to yours and kissed you softly, you could feel her cheesy smile through the kiss. You parted your lips for her slide her tongue through and so she did, eliciting a moan from the back of your throat. Ellie pulled away, “Don’t, don’t make sounds like that..” she panted, you had no idea what you are doing to her. “Why?” You teased, knowing damn well why. “Fuck, don’t tease doll.” You rolled your eyes with that big smile she loved. “Williams, ____, move it!” Your boss yelled. “Mmh, fuck princess, you wouldn’t mind if I took you back to mine would you?” You shook your head which made her smirk even more. “What did I say? Leave now!” He yelled, stomping his foot on the floor. “Ugh, fuck okay! We’re going bro chillll.” He rolled his eyes and stomped out, making the floor rumble. “Fucking fatass.” She chuckled and you giggled hard.

Ellie was driving you to her house, with her hand on your thigh. Princess treatment! You loved it when she did that, it made you feel special. You were humming along to a random ass song on the radio and she was admiring you from afar, well hats what it felt like, she just wanted to hold you or pin you up against her wall.

You watched as she unlocked her chipped door with her rusty key, you half expected her house to be a little empty but it looked very cozy—as in messy teenage room cozy.

You walked into her room, stumbling over her messy floor filled with clothes and empty Amazon packages of some sort well atleast that’s what it looked like? “Ellie your house is so homey.” You made your way to her bed. She just hummed in response. She jumped onto her cozy bed, making you bounce a little. “Where were we?” She smirked as she grabbed your hips and pulled you on her lap, making you gasp.

Moments later you found yourself grinding against her hips, unaware of your well-being, too lost in the moment or looking for some sort of friction. She kissed every inch of your body, slowly taking off your clothes but by bit. Your head fell back in response. “Fuck Ellie.” You bit your lip. “Mmh, such a needy girl, you need these fingers inside of you, don’t you?” You could almost feel her grin through kisses. You shivered at her words, who knew such sentences could make you this wet.

“You look so beautiful.” She peppered your body with kisses, bringing up her freehand to grope your plush tits, eliciting a moan from the back of your throat. She saw how wet you were and couldn’t make you wait any longer so she brought her fingers down, just to tease you a little longer.

She knew you were close, picking up her pace and fucking you through your orgasm. “Holy fuck— ahg-“ your back was arching and your nails were digging deep into her shoulders.

“You did s’well baby..” you opened your eyes to get a glimpse of her sweet face. Your chest was falling up and down too fast for her liking. “Hey, hey it’s okay.” She kissed your forehead and went to go get a dampened cloth to clean you up.

As soon as she got back she was babying you and everything, it made you feel safe. She turned on a movie of your choice after you were all cleaned up, you laid your head on her shoulder and she played with your soft hair. Not a word was spoken, but it was comfortable.

When I saw people drawing their characters like this for the first time, I knew I had to do this. There are so many characters I could have chosen, but it’s been a while since I drew the Fable siblings so thought it was perfect.

I’ve been using procreate lately since I got an iPad solely for that and have been trying to find brushes similar to the old ones I had on CSP. I’ve had no luck, but have a lot of other cools brushes that may help me develop new art styles. Including the above style. I found these really nice ink and ink wash brushes and really wanted to use them. I think they work wonderfully for silly meme art like this. It has a very nice cartoon look to it. It’s also just been super amazing to be able to draw wherever. I have more motivation to draw since I can carry this tablet with me everywhere. Much less of a hassle to hook up a drawing tablet to my computer and then actually have to sit down at the computer and draw.

Some details about the drawings themselves: When trying to decide what to replace the LAPD with, I wondered what would the police force in Albion be considered. I went with ARG which is for Albion Royal Guard. Because who else can arrest the queen and prince? I also wanted to make the plates look wooden since Albion is y’know, ye olden days. And then there’s the height things. If you look closely, you can see what I headcanon Logan’s height to be and what Aelyn’s height to be. I could have left those background pieces out, but I thought it would be cool to add that little bit of detail. I also wanted it to look like the names and such were painted on so that one brush came in clutch to add to the aesthetic.

Favorite Games of 2023! Part 1: Pikmin 4

Something I really enjoyed doing for 2022 was making drawing to go with my top favorite games I played that year. So I wanted to do that again with 2023 and do a bit of writing to go along with it. I've always been meaning to try writing/documenting my thoughts so hopefully this isn't all just gibberish. Please enjoy!

PIKMIN 4

I got real into Pikmin for the first time ever over this past year. The series finally clicked with me both partially because of this game but also because of just seeing other people be excited about the series as well. I saw it in a lot of fan art or meme videos about bulborbs or Oatchi and so on and I just found it all charming and fun.

One thing in particular that got me to become a fan of the whole series was @hollowtones and @anonymouspuzzler 's streams of Pikmin 1 (https://youtu.be/Yu3Ev5aDZcI?feature=shared). A really fun streams that were also quite informative (surprisingly so) about how the series had a bit more depth to its world design than I ever really gave it credit for. That stream also got me to finally do something I couldn’t do when I was a kid and finally finish a playthrough of this Gamecube copy of Pikmin 1 I’ve had my whole life. That game rules except for a truly miserable final boss fight!

So all that lead me to want to finally check out Pikmin 4, a game that gave me the joy of dandori (something else I found people constantly joking about). To be reductive, the game is all about using your army of silly little guys to pick up all the trash you can get them to carry while avoiding death at the hands at colorful alien horrors beyond your comprehension. What made that collection focused gameplay really click with me in this series has been the time limit each game has and finding and honing the art to getting as much done with that time that I can. It’s what kept me coming back to completely 100%ing the game, getting all the stuff, getting platinums for all the challenges, and so on. While 4 never felt especially hard ever, I always found the aspect of trying to be as optimal with my time as possible to be a more than good enough replacement for a more typical difficulty.

The only real big disappointment I had with the game was with the characters I interacted with in the game, their long drawn out tutorial/introduction was unwanted and their game long constant need to pestering and nagging about any sort of mistakes they could observe grew extremely tiresome. I wish I liked them because the character designs of these funny little space guys are so charming, I even really liked my own player character despite how inconsequential they are.

The game also introduced Oatchi, the wonderful perfect doggy who could have absolutely ruined the the mechanical charm of the game by just always being the solution to just about any problem the game throws your way. I thought it stayed acceptable to me due to how he still felt fun use and was just a very charming guy. Just look at that dude! He goes ‘ufufufufufuf’ if you mash on the whistle button, how can you ever be mad at Oatchi? Love that guy, shouts out to Oatchi, dogthing of all time.

Pikmin 4 was just a delight to me to play a few hours of every night and just pick away at each area at a time, picking up all the cool junk i could find. A very happy surprise of a game after entering into 2023 not even considering the game in the first place.

I know he's a bastard as well as a bit of a soft boy with a praise kink, which really intrigues me.

He's a character of mine.

This is his true form, and secondary form. The humanoid one above is his tertiary form, and what I usually draw him in.

He's had many names and many lives in his history. Within the universe I've made, he's a Fiend and can die and be reborn any time Trevor dies. Trevor being one of his 3 siblings. Veronica and Caroline being the other two.

He was once a Warlord by the name of Bog Belly. A scourge upon man and Demon (Demons being an alien race by the name of Tymos who eventually just adopted the name Demons as a secondary and or primary name)

Bog Belly slaughtered thousands simply because he was born angry over and over again, and wanted to have everyone under his heels. No truama there. No reasons. Just a dick because that's his true nature. Though he was kind to his cult members, and his breeding stock.

But roughly 200 years ago, his sister Veronica defeated him in battle. Ending his reign of terror. Veronica heads a group called the Hunters. They were formed specifically to track and kill Bog Belly. After that goal was completed, they more or less ended Warlords being a problem, and now are a government body.

Veronica is the bad twin between herself and Caroline. So she saw zero issue with parading around a defeated Bog Belly. Forcing him to be an act of sorts for a few years before making him work with Colton (Trevor) to improve his morality.

When James (Trevor) picks a fight with his sister and gets all of them killed, they're reborn into their new and current lives.

Every one of Rodney's parents have always been cruel and mean to him. Forcing his nature to always be mean spirited. Except things were different this time.

Rodney's mom was endlessly patient with him, and always showed him true compassion and love. No matter what he did. Rodney is her baby boy, and he's an absolute mama's boy.

Being there for him as he spiraled into drug problems, and there when he cleaned up. He loves his mother. The first person he's ever truly loved.

So when he regained his memories and his full personality, he was far more docile than he had ever been. Not to say he's not still a bastard. He would absolutely kill you with zero hesitation and not even flinch as you cry for help.

But he's definitely trying to feel more empathy and understand what it's like to be normal. But it's a struggle for him. But he is trying.

This man needs. A lot of therapy lmao.

- He hates going to Hunter bases because he's been assaulted a number of times in a multitude of ways.

Rodney leveled a Hunter base in Ohio because of this. He's banned from the state of Ohio. Veronica covered this situation up as she understands why he did it.

She doesn't know he's still assaulted at some bases :( and he won't tell her because he doesn't believe anything will be done about it.

- Rodney can open his pupils to freeze in terror whoever looks at them, in place

- Rodney had front horns like his sister Caroline, but Trevor snapped them off in a fit of well deserved rage.

- Rodney overall is a dick (but he's trying to get better), and uses sex, various drugs, and alcohol to try and survive instead of getting therapy.

- He is taught about in schools as a part of history. People recognize him sometimes and point and talk about him. He's used to it and generally just ignores it.

- Even though he's trying to get better. If given the chance to get his power back. He would. With no hesitation.

- Rodney uses humor and acts like a dipstick so people don't expect too much from him. It upsets him a little hit to be labeled as a man whore who has no real thoughts besides memes, but he also knows it's better than the alteratives.

- Fiends have incredibly low fertility rates, but Rodney has eggs. He has roughly 100 kids, but he acknowledges none of them. "You're my son? And? I ain't got shit for you besides some protips. Get away from me or I will kill you."

- Rodney's spit is dual functional. It is both the most caustic venom known to man or Demon kind. But it also a heavy aphrodisiac. It completely depends on his mood. So it's a risk if you kiss him lmao

- He has a motorcycle and often will still ride it around

I noticed your "fill my inbox" post so i wanted to tell you about my OCs that i've been working on lately, it might come across weird or maybe much and I'm probably going to seriously expose myself out of anonymity with the details but i hope you'll like to hear it anyways -- I saw a post that suggested more representation for fat emo girls (i misremembered it as "i want to see more fat emo girls") and I became really inspired so i made a sketch of a fat black emo girl. Her being black was just another case of my brain going "*hand raise* Do they have to be white/Would it hurt if they were black?" and the response is often "no" even "that would be more interesting" so I switch it up, and after searching through names, the name Ada stuck. I wanted to give her a distinctly black name because I felt like that isn't done enough and that it wasn't fair, but anyways. I had a character that I made previously, named Nia the Swift, made because I had a lesbian JoJo OC named Vivian (lost sister of Dio) and she totally kicked ass and tugged at my heart strings but I realized that she was the only confirmed lesbian OC I had, so I thought "I need to make another one" so I made him and I made him black and masc and I couldn't resist making him a fancy-dancy cunning vampire. Anyhow, I was thinking about Ada a lot because I got interested in emo subculture so whenever I would think about emo stuff, I'd think about her too. She's a gloomy character, but I didn't like seeing her sad/out of it all the time. A silly idea came up in my head of her getting her hand kissed by Nia and thinking "am i goth?" (subtext: because i think i'm falling in love with a vampire) and I thought it was great. When I made Nia, I didn't really think up any Scenarios for him for a little too long and I felt like he needed to be part of a duo, but I couldn't come up with any solid ideas yet, so I felt like Ada would make an excellent match. I'm swamped with a lot of big stressful things this month but I'm hoping to squeeze in drawing him being very very sweet and gentlemanly to her and her making cute meme emoji faces about it, and maybe some other things involving them. I've been learning a lot about hair lately for it (which is good bc my career seems like it could loom unexpectedly into the "hair" area) and it was nice listening to a tutorial on how to get good box braids while i was on an errand walk. I thought previously that box braids had more than 3 strands, maybe 4 hence the name "box" braids (no, also on closer inspection, no). Sorry for sending you so many big paragraphs and run-on sentences, but I hope maybe you can have my two vaguely described women living in your head rent free now

Well, I'm glad you took the time to stop yourself and decide that she didn't have to be white! That is definitely the first step that very many people don't take!

As for "that would be more interesting", I encourage you to take those next steps and determine why. Why would it be more interesting? Them being Black shouldn't be the interesting part- that would make them sound like they're a token!

Have you done research in Black emo culture? Have you done research into fatness while being Black? Are those things that affect your character's life? Her decisions and her personality? Does it play into how people treat her? That's where we get into the intent! Because I'm not Black and emo, but I can tell you right now her being "gloomy" would definitely affect the way people treat her as a Black woman in reality. I do appreciate that you let her have other emotions though!

I do have an Auntie Ada (rip), and Nia is also a Black African name (it means 'purpose'). Did you know that when you named him?

frankly, i think your point about "some people train their own AI art models" is inherently flawed because rhe vast majority of people are not training their own model. they are paying for a service which was trained on art that was taken from the internet and used without permission in order for a machine to try snd recreate something similar bit by bit. i havent gotten a commission from someone who isnt a friend of mine in well over a year because people are just choosing to generate art with AI. i dont think AI art isnt "real" art because yeah, i agree with you, the whole idea of real art or not is complex. however, it is an undeniable reality that AI is trained on the work of artists all over the world who do not even get asked for permission before a tech company makes money off of their hard work.

I agree it’s a small, small portion of people making their own models that ensure that all art involved is used with consent. Many people buy a subscription or credits to generate what they want. Most people probably use free credits on Discord to make a meme or anime girls. Many people use it many different ways, yes.

I’m sorry you’ve lost a client over it. I know commissions are hard. Freelancers without dedicated clients would be the ones to suffer most from the popularity of AI art. I can’t say I’ve felt the impact myself, since it’s also very popular to be anti-AI.

Actively searching through job boards, I also feel like it has barely affected those listings. Maybe one of like 300 art jobs in the USA/Sweden asked for AI experience (Prompt Artist), and it was an AI startup. The “normal” art jobs like UI/UX, Environments, Materials, Concept, Technical, Animator, etc all still asking for 3 years experience for entry level lmao. Saw an intern position that required an “industry-standard” portfolio. So still a pain as it was before advanced AI gen.

Many paid AI art services have takedown options for their training sets and can block names from being prompted. If you were a popular enough artist to be in a training set, you can remove it and block the majority of AI art users from copying you—like you said, a majority of people use these services instead of self-hosting.

(Sending DMCA takedown requests are actually pretty easy. I had to send one to an old teacher who reposted my art and a bunch of classmates’ art on her ArtStation. that was funny lol)

I’m not sure how I felt when I went to search up my art on haveibeentrained. Because I’m a nerd, I’d preemptively blocked scrapers on my portfolio, so nothing was there when I looked. Searched up my legal name, my old Twitter (which had some popular pieces), my old DeviantArt usernames. Nothing there, either. I was probably pruned from the set for being low-quality. Kinda funny, I thought I’d be good enough to include at least once. Maybe next time.

.safetensors / .ckpt files (which are the models Stable Diffusion runs) have no image data in them, by the way. It is all math and numbers in there. There is no way of telling what was included in the training set, unless the dev(s) that made the model release it publicly. The models themselves are usually around 3–6 GB, though there’s larger ones and mini ones.

Like my own silly brain, there’s no way of tracking down the exact art pieces the software was referencing off of when it generates something. Am I making money off of another artist’s hard work when I remember how to draw heads from a Proko video? Am I ripping off photographers when I recall their pictures when drawing my characters? I’m not a tech company, but I still make money off of the things I copy and filter through my mind and hand.

I’m rambling at this point, sorry. Of course, the core issue is capitalism. How different would people see this medium if money were not an issue? How futuristic, how exciting it is to visualize something from words alone. It’s that art machine I’d always wanted as a kid, where I think of something and it pops out on the page finished.

I think it is worth to uplift those who use the medium as ethically as they can, as @are-we-art-yet is doing—having a do-not-use artist list, avoiding corporations, don’t try to undercut traditional artists. Like with any medium, there’s a variety of artists. Some are nice and do their best to have a good impact, some don’t care at all about the ethics of their art.

I’m still pretty firmly a “traditional” artist. I won’t stop drawing or give up because of AI. I play with AI on my own hardware and power for fun and for getting ideas (is that stealing?). It’s mostly replaced scrolling through Pinterest for me, but I still save people’s art and photos that I like in my computer, so I can look at em later, maybe get inspired. And steal like an artist, I guess.

I'm sorry for responding so late, but I just wanted to say thank you for drawing that comic in response to my ask! I 100% was not expecting anything and just wanted to share something I thought would hypothetically be silly for the characters in these movies to do, so thank you for that once again!

That said, I recently saw the previous posts you made about one of your OCs potentially playing gacha games and wanted to know if you yourself had played any such games as well/what kind of gacha games you like? I personally like rhythm games like Love Live and fighting games like Genshin Impact, so does your OC have any preferences as well? Additionally, seeing as I brought them up, do you think anyone in the medical malpractice gang would enjoy these kinds of games?

To answer your question, I’m actually not into any gacha games myself. I’m hopelessly addicted to matching three mobile games (right now I have that extremely predatory Royal Match game on my phone) and when I set out to design the character I was originally thinking along those lines: because Laszlo is one of six cloned from Peter Lorre it makes sense to have each clone be addicted in some way to something (Lorre being a historical addict himself of course) but also something ‘innocent’ enough that avoids the moralism and fraught medical history associated with physical addiction. These are six people who grew up on a submarine, they’re going to get silly addictions (vaping, bad movies, etc)

The way it came to gacha games is that those games are visually way more striking and have more enticing rewards attached to them than the crappy mobile games I’m into, and in a post apocalyptic world where most governments have split off into ever smaller factions, with characters who spent their lives travelling the world in a submarine, it makes sense to take a more international approach and not just stick to what I know (Western countries mostly). Finally, the game Laszlo is into is Uma Musume because 1) @faustiandevil introduced me to the anime and 2) Peter Lorre himself loved horses, so it makes sense that this modern ponytail-wearing financial expert Lorre would be playing a cute game with horsegirls racing each other in pretty outfits. An extra bonus is that Uma Musume has some very expensive merch and I thought it would be hilarious to have this financial expert spend enormous amounts of his money on well-crafted figurines and giant plush dolls.

10 - 09/10/2023 : based on that 1 silly vargskelethor song (that could not be less specific), had Shed 17 on the brain and was reminded of the milk song where the skeleton comes out.. thomarse dank 2 much milk and died..

11, 12 - 10/10/2023 : chooshada again :333 first a little doodle on my phone bc i was wondering about her livery, i do think she'd have originally been NER apple green but then painted NWR colours, butttt with a twist... coz i can do whatever i like... the twist is just that she's painted dark blue rather than a sky blue, coz its more her colour x

14 - 18/10/2023 : saw a tweet abt old photos of engine crews posing with their crashed locos and how the NWR crews would do that, made me think of how, if Toni was (choo)shada's driver, she'd do that.. probably x .. very like her to slay in the midst of a terrible accident

15 - 22/10/2023 : predictably, i have some playlists for the ttte engines, one for Diesel which is notable here, so uhh, i have the scrapped song from the lorax "biggering" in there, bc i see it as like a Duck vs Diesel song, ik im surpassing several layers of cringe here but hear me out ok... i drew this at 2am coz i couldn't stop thinking of Duck lecturing Diesel

16, 17, 18 - 25/10/2023 : speaking of playlists, think i was listening to my Robin one here, and felt like drawing him, i have "the land of make believe" in there, which ive always found to be an oddly haunting song, so this is semi based on that, though that wouldn't be apparent if i hadn't just told u x .. this looks like vent art but tis not i was just having fun

also tiny chooshada, i was in the middle of writing something which i have literally Just remembered now and i was writing a scene where Ru is stuck between some characters who shes not looking forward to working with bc they're about to bicker the whole fuckin time and one of them thinks shes a dick, so i drew her being sad that shes forced to work with morons..... and speak of the devil, 3rd drawing is here with 2 of the aforementioned morons :D i think D+D take a liking to her, they're just a little obnoxious (love them for that)

First day of learning to draw

I'm starting this blog to track my progress in art so that one day I can look back and laugh at myself a little.

I'm currently studying 3D animation, and my ultimate goal is to work at Sony Pictures Animation - the studio behind "Spider-verse" (one of my favourite movies). In my course, It's mandatory for all students to know how to draw, at least the basics of art.

Personally, I love drawing, and I also dream of creating my own manga. I tried learning to draw when I was in high school, but I gave up because I felt like I wasn't good enough and was overwhelmed by the vast amount of leaning resources available. On top of that, I had this silly notion that starting to draw to at 18 was too late because I saw many great artists who started drawing at a young age. So, I stopped trying on art until I turned 20. Then I enrolled in a 3D animation course and started over again. And I hope to achieve my goal!

I'm leaning to draw digitally, and here are some of my first ever digital drawings.

My first day at basic shapes and sketch class. I have to admit I was really bad at this and even now too. I drew a couple of poses then I started to lose all the patience and switched to draw meme instead.

You know first day leaning to draw stick figure was not a good idea since it's BASIC SHAPES & SKETCH class not Anatomy class. I was kinda mad at first. What's more, some of my classmates, they already know how to draw. It was incredibly unsettling for me since I was jealous of them. Despite trying my best at class, I still find myself unable to keep up with them.

The moment I've read your monologue that they are art as well, I actually thought a bit about your post. Every artpiece has it's own story and context. From inside jokes, trends, to idenitity crisises. Many of these stories are not known, sometimes even the artists have no idea about them and see their drawing as a "random doodle", but it actually shows a certain part of their life, like isolation, good time, inspiration, etc. Thank you for reminding people about all of that. It's touching. (Also, I hope my English is at least a bit understandable, lol)

your english is fine, dw! and yeah, i am genuinely very happy that people on that post seem to largely have taken time to read and consider what i had to say. that's what i was trying to express. art doesn't come from a vacuum, every piece of art, every drawing posted online, was made by someone for some reason, its an accumulation of their skills and time and effort as an artist, and also their feelings, identity, their artistic expression.

when art is used in memes it often makes you forget that. it makes you think this art came from nowhere, or "some random cringe furry years ago". it's not like silly art can't be funny sometimes, or the memes aren't necessarily funny, but it's just mean when you realize you're supposed to be laughing at someone who did nothing wrong but dedicate themselves to drawing a werewolf.

art is funny! art is silly! art is self indulgent and dramatic and cheesy, and it's also a genuine form of self expression and we all should remember it's okay to be genuine sometimes

yeh they have a TAIL now!!!! with LEAVES!!!!!!! their mom’s genetics :)))

the leaves are VERY poisonous to any species except their own and rootkin (aka wl’s species). like most plants, they need sunlight to grow, and if they got enough, holly would have leaves growing from their horns too!!! but they stay underground most of the time, so they only have leaves on their tail.

they got a lot of their mom’s genetics. the leaves, the long ass tail, the height, the rounder face, the eyes, the fluffiness, all inherited from wl.

hornet made their cloak a few days after they escaped the black egg. she saw how fucking RAGGED their old cloak was (the damn thing was torn to shreds and COVERED in blood), and she was like “damn, i need to make them a new cloak.” so she did that.

she had holly pick the fabrics. they like blue, and the faux-fur they found was SO fucking warm they just had to pick it.

and their silk wraps are indeed made of weaver silk, also courtesy of hornet. she’s a great little sister btw

almost all their scars happened after the seals faded. the only one that appeared prior to that was the crack on their face.

their arm was fucked up and destroyed by the infection (y’know, cysts growing everywhere and all that), and the only thing keeping it attached to holly’s body were the seals, so after they faded, it kinda just… fell off.

the stab wounds in their abdomen and chest are from them stabbing the shit out of themself thinking radi was still inside them. they has enough adrenaline in them to move around, so they attempted to evict her already deceased ass in the worst way possible. after that little show, they stopped being able to move for a few days, until they eventually crawled out of the black egg and scared the ever-loving fuck out of hornet who thought they were dead.

their blood is a mix of void and their soul, which is purple!

i wrote a whole thing about soul colours and their meanings back in 2019 or 2020, so its rlly old and i only have vague memories of what’s in it, but i do remember writing that people with purple souls are generally quieter and stricter, but generally are nice unless you piss them off. that description fits holly absolutely perfectly, so they have a purple soul now.

also, fun fact: holly needs a cane to walk sometimes. being chained up and suspended in the air, completely unable to move for 60 years really does something to ya.
