i really, really appreciate that TLOVM is keeping the nuance of the gods in this adaptation of the source material, especially the Raven Queen
why the raven queen? well, it's like she said to vax - some people fear death, even our intrepid adventurers, and while it may be the end of a life, it's also a beautiful thing. it gives our lives meaning and purpose, and everyone experiences it the same, even if not at the same time
and it would be so easy to simplify what matt has done with the matron's characterization up until this point. it's always easy to feel animosity towards death when it's chasing our heroes, because well, we don't want to see them die (see pib: the last wish). we don't want the characters we've seen rooting for kick the bucket, even though, at some point, they most likely will - peacefully or painfully, who's to say?
death is an easy enemy, is what i'm getting at. it's an easy target, and i'm just so grateful that they didn't take the easy way out
#critical role#the legend of vox machina#tlovm#tlovm s2#tlovm spoilers#i just really appreciate her portrayal#grim and dark for sure#but also bright and beautiful#even with deathwalker's ward#how the magic that powers it is golden and not like death magic or something#visually at least#because she is the god of death and fate#but she is not Evil#oh i cannot WAIT to see how they depict the rest of the pantheon in this universe

LETS TALK ABOUT BECKY IVES FOR A MINUTE!
when you think about becky, you have to remember that she spent at least four years listening to terryâs âcrazy theoriesâ about hawkins lab, and the big bad man taking jane away. she knew terry took part in âhippie crapâ and assumed that messed with her head. that those experiences combined with miscarrying in the third trimester had a terrible strain on her mental health, ultimately losing her connection to reality. she spent those years watching terry fight and lose legal battles against brenner and hawkins. she pleaded for her to stop, to get help, as their relationship grew stressed and strained because becky didnât believe her, and terry hated her for it.
and then when terryâs mind was completely broken, she spent her days and nights caring for her. the show never touched on this. just what did becky think happened to terry? what story was she told? was terry put into a random hospital with doctors from hawkins lab, under a guise of caring for her, just to tell becky there was some kind of accident? maybe a car accident. did they claim the drugs used in the mk ultra testing from all those years ago took affect on her mind? probably not, because then becky would be in an opportunity to sue. i highly doubt there would have been any mention of the lab, opposed to some, "unfortunate accident." it really bugs me that thereâs no story about what becky believed made terry catatonic. terry knew becky didnât believe her, and as such, definitely did not tell her about her plans to break into the lab. so a story could have easily been concocted.
and then, one random day, a kid shows up at her doorstep, claiming to be the daughter she didnât believe existed. immediately, by jane opening the door with her mind, becky held some kind of belief for she'd heard terryâs rants about her baby being used for experiments, experiments which gave her powers. and in comes jane, demanding to see her mother, able to open a locked door, blood dripping from her nose. all too soon she realises that there has so be some semblance of truth. the girl says her name is jane: she fits all the descriptions. the descriptions of the niece she never had. this child who her sister fought tooth and nail to get back. i canât even imagine the guilt that would begin to fester for not believing terry, for thinking she was having a mental break, for trying to get her to see therapists and get her some real, serious help.
scared and confused for herself and her sister, and unable to fathom what is happening, what does she do? she comforts jane. there is distance, thereâs awkwardness, but this girl is her blood and every moment that passed only proved that she could actually be jane ives. she makes her a sandwich, tries to comfort her, tells her that her mother is in a dream. probably a good dream. she comforts and tells her that terry never stopped believing.
she always believed you were out there. she always believed youâd come home one day. home? yeah, home.
she offered her, this strange little girl, a place in her home with her and her mother. she didnât push, she didnât need to know everything in that moment; she focused on jane and nothing else. the girl was obviously traumatised judging by the way she spoke, the way she sheltered herself. if everything terry claimed was indeed true, then becky couldnât even begin to think about what sheâd gone through.
i wanna help you, but to really do that, i need you to talk to me, okay? it doesnât have to be now. it doesnât have to be today. when youâre ready, okay?
she never moved a single thing in janeâs room. although she didnât believe terry, she respected and loved her enough to keep it exactly as sheâd planned. and at least she could give jane that, the vision her mother had for her, what the first steps of their wonderful life would have been like. becky claimed terry was âstuckâ living the âsame dreamâ over and over. where becky, too, was the one who was stuck. terry became 24/7 care, and unless she had helpers (which i highly doubt), becky would have given up her job, her out of home hobbies, her entire life to care for her sister. stuck in an endless routine until jane came along and struck her with the reality of it all.
as soon as jane contacts the void, you can see becky looks on edge and nervous. which, fair enough! she asks if she can sit and watch, but doesnât interfere or distract jane. she even sits a little further away from her, perhaps out of fear (which would be completely justified. this girl physically moved things with her mind, who knows what else she can do) or just trying to take this all in within her own time and space. but the moment, the second jane departs the void and is in a state of distress, she moves to comfort her. she isnât sure how, and doesnât expect it to be returned, but offers it nonetheless. as far as she knows jane just spoke to her sister; she would be dying to know what happened, if she said anything. but remains silent and focuses on the child.
unfortunately we really donât see much else of their dynamic on screen, but it is very justified that becky contacted hawkins and tried to get a hold of hopper. he and joyce were the only ones who seemed to have some kind of understanding; of course she would want to contact them. she put on a brave face in front of jane, focused on her and her needs. but as soon as she put the bed down and jane wanted some time alone in her room, becky had a moment to breathe. to think about her, her sister, all those wasted years because she didnât believe. so, weeks later, when she gets a phone call from a weak sounding girl, saying she was sorry, the relief is immense. when recovered from her illness after closing the gate, the first thing jane wanted to do was call her aunt. hopper got on the line after the initial apology and asked if becky would come to hawkins, so they could work things out from there.
i just think becky is such a neat, complex character for the literal twenty minutes (probably less) screen time she gets. i adore the way she treats jane, and think she is such a good influence in her life. imagine all the stories becky could tell her about terry. things no one else could. her relationship with her aunt is one like no other, for both the sake of her mother, and that she is the only true family she has ever known, or as far as she knows, even has. becky never expects anything from jane (unlike a lot of the people in her life), and in that respect, jane does actually open up to her overtime. to becky, jane isnât a girl whoâs saved the world a few times. sheâs the niece she didnât believe in, and would spend the rest of her life making it up to her and terry.
#studyâ in my dreams it's all real and my heart has so much to reveal.#long post /#also jane EXPLAINS the void best she can to becky.#she doesnt just say âbe quietâ when becky is talking to her and asking about it all / asking to apologise to terry for her.#she understands that she is not only meeting her mother. but her aunty too.#the only family she has in the whole world.#she understands itâs difficult for becky and allows her to ask questions. she isnât short with her because she doesnât understand.#jane knows what itâs like to not understand and just have people frustrated and sharp with her. so she Does NOT do that.#yeah this is just a Becky appreciation post!#she deserved so much better.#she could have been so good for jane.#i mean. she is. because sheâs very very important in my portrayal.#also added those screencaps because itâs exactly what i talk about.#she starts off in her own space. has some time in complete silence while jane is in the void.#she would just be sitting there. on her own. just watching.#the first moment of the day to really think.#but then jane suddenly comes out of it.#and beckyâs needs no longer matter.#and all focus is put on her niece again.#of course. majority of this is taken purely from the shows canon.#because becky is way more prominent in my own canon but.#yeah. stan the ives women for clear skin#!!!

Anybody else have a comfort character they're a little horrified to relate to because mine is Poison Ivy
#i watch harley quinn on and off and have read a bunch of her comics this year#i watched the catwoman ep of harley quinn earlier and the way they had her relate to selina was so fucking real#i think a lot about how the comics and show portray her as someone who doesn't Like People but finds that harley is her person#and i really appreciate how the show often sweetly shows that ivy accepts how fucking weird harley is#which reminds me of the people i feel most comfortable with#something about lake bell's portrayal really resonates with me#i think lately i'm just trying to feel hope about my future after being longterm single my whole life#and their relationship is weirdly one that mirrors a lot of what i want#anyway#binge watched some harley quinn today and don't have anyone to talk about it with

The Incredible Hulk (1968) #246
#I actually really appreciate this guyâs consideration for why the Hulk distrust words#itâs been written in the past in a way that suggests that sometimes the Hulk finds processing information in words really difficult#to the point where it could be almost painful for him#and so even someone saying the right words to him wouldnât help because that words are being spoken at all is overwhelming#and there could also be a sensory issue component to that#I think the novelization of the 2008 Hulk movie had a really interesting approach to this#where the was a scene where Betty was saying all of the right words to try to comfort and calm the Hulk down#which was followed up by the Hulkâs perspective where he could understand the tone of her voice and so her overall positive intention#but it was just so hard for him to focus to be able to actually make out what she was saying and the meaning of the words#which ties into that take on the Hulk as being this panicked response that really isnât built for anything outside of that context#but itâs also notable how portrayals of the Hulk that are more verbal have him as this very straightforward character#he doesnât lie or deceive people and heâs blunt in a socially unaware way where heâs actually often pretty rude#and you will have these scenes where the Hulk is just like stop I donât want to fight#and the people attacking him are like ahh itâs a monster as though they canât hear him#part of the tragedy of this character is that heâs not always great at communicating but when he is it doesnât matter#so I like the idea that words are also not an ideal way to communicate with the Hulk because while heâs able to be direct#he doesnât really have the skills to navigate that other people arenât always blunt and truthful like he is#what I like about this character is these kinds of divisions#heâs got lots of problems and having issues with verbal communication is just one of them but then thereâs lots of ways to play that issue#and theyâre not necessarily contradictory and so can be played together#marvel#bruce banner#my posts#comic panels

I 100% respect MAWS for not adding Batman and instead focusing on superman's often under appreciated supporting cast. Lois. Jimmy. Perry White. Henry John Irons. Nat Irons. The only gotham character included is Vicki Vale who in my opinion never really got her due as a batman character (although I haven't seen Tim Burton's Batman so I can't speak to her portrayal there).
I adore Batman, His mythos literally got me into comics. But DC and its fans seemingly want him to be in literally everything, often to the expense of the other characters. It just feels refreshing to have a high profile DC adaptation that is confident to stand on its own without including Bat-content.

đČâ. THEODORE NOTT FICS HALL OF FAME đ â Ę .
so this summer marks a year since i started obsessing over this stupid stupid handsome beautiful amazing of a character and it is actually insane. i always used to have phases for different characters and it changed like every two weeks but for the past year it's been him and him only. embarrassing. but well â i've read a lot of amazing pieces of fiction about him so here i am to give some appreciation! these are my favourites with top notch writing and plot and portrayal of the character and everything else!!! in no particular order
spring breaks loose by @fangisms GOD i love her work!! she also wrote darling socialite which is possibly even more amazing (and i actually requested it hehe and i love it so much)
next we have @cassiopeiasdaughter (this is really just a list of my favourite authors here) with mirrorball (requested by me again, this is also maybe just a list of stuff i requested, i am shameless with this) and this cute little drabble about theo and the reader's cat <3
honestly i could just write everything i said before about everything that's coming next. i looove when @veryberryjelly does these events and here's my favourite one of these!!
this is smut and i feel weird recommending something smutty but its a really really well written thing so you need to read it if you like this type of thing
so i don't normally like to read series but i loooooved kiss with a fist by @theostrophywife!!! (sorry i can't find the og masterlist post in my likes to link it but you'll find it)
@patrophthia has some amaaaazing fics! love is sour grapes and take you to the basics and these plot bunnies and genuinely anything else by her! there's i think this fic set in the summer that i can't remember the name of. and the one based on "bewitched" by laufey! so good! and my favourite way of writing theo's character like ever
laughs in the courtyard is the cutest ever and i think one of the first fics i've read about theo?
these headcanons are straight out of my dreams!! often reread them just to have him more visualised in my head and some parts feel literally straight out of my brain
so i don't read angst almost at all, i like sweet and nice and happy things but moonlight & masks as well as mio, both in kind of the same vibe i just adore! i guess war angst i don't mind. especially when it's so good!
now this is kind of toxic and manipulative theo but i loooove control freak<3 i linked part two but obviously start with the first. both awesome
and last by not least @artytaeh is probably my favourite author here right now!! this masterlist has no misses only hits <3 you gotta read it all right now. again, this portrayal of theo and everything else is just perfect
okay thank youuuuuu for reading and i hope you read everything on this list because it's all fantastic! bye bye kiss kiss goodnight

Semi-Final Two
Propaganda...
Mr Knightley (2009):
Johnny Lee Miller as Knightley is JUST SO. I mean the way he says "if I loved you less I might be able to talk about it more" IS JUUUST. The dance scene. The tentative shy smiles. The fact you can see in his eyes the entire time " I am completely in love with this woman. She'll never love me back BUT I DO NOT CARE I'LL LOVE HER FROM A DISTANCE ANYWAY" IS JUUUUUUST
We need to appreciate Mr Knightley more for both his snark and for those soft eyes just so full of love for Emma
GIF by dearemma
I was just going to send in the actual dance but the little panic he has when Emma says she knows his secret is just soo charming. There was some thread on twitter a few years ago about how a romcom man's most important quality is knowing how to look at a woman and JLM is just the master of it in this Emma
youtube
I really feel like the pictures say it all. He stands there, head tilted to one side. He is listening to you. His posture is relaxed. His gaze open, frank, candid. He's not trying at all. He just is.And that's why he is Knightley.
GIF by night-unfurls-its-splendour
Some propaganda, not just for Jonny Lee Miller, but the general interpretation of 09 Knightley. I have some excerpts here from my review of the 09 adaptation:
What I really think is great about the 2009 interpretation of Mr. Knightley is what an easy and comforting presence he is, without being apologetic when he scolds Emma. I think this is communicated especially well by how often we are actually shown Mr. Knightley taking his almost-daily walks to Hartfield, how smoothly he comes and goes, and how happy Emma is every time she sees him coming up the path (usually, just at the perfect moment when she needs something to put her back to rights.)
Here is Emma, feeling lonely after Miss Taylor's wedding. And in the background, walking up to Hartfield--there's Knightley. He's always been there for her, and he always will be.
And also this Mr. Knightley is as understated as ever, but I wanna highlight this outfit and why I love it: This is Knightleyâs first appearance in the series and itâs the perfect establishing shot that shows the viewer everything they need to know about Emma and Knightleyâs relationship and how it has always been. He sort of materializes, out of focus in the background, but Emma immediately knows heâs there. And to accentuate how much Knightley is part of her home and scenery, his clothes (similar shades of pale tan, white and minty green to the wall behind him) almost camouflage him and make him seem at one with the moulding of her home.
Additionally, Jonny Lee Miller captures Knightleyâs playful qualities, and his exasperation is so endearing

I canât be the only one tickled by this Knightleyâs frustration with Emma! JLM FTW!
Jonny Lee Miller is mesmerizing in any role he inhabits. Itâs 2009 Knightly all the way.
no but can you actually go vote for mr knightley he was FOUNDATIONAL for 16 year old me my favourite portrayal of my favourite austen man cannot fall at this hurdle!!!
He is my ultimate Austen Dream Man, I'm with him until the end. Honestly this adaptation is my very favorite of them all (P&P 1995 is a VERY close second) because it made me fall in love with Emma as a story? Honestly no other adaptation or indeed even my reading of the book made me love it quite as much. My crush on JLM goes back to 1995 and I do think he is one of the better actors of his generation - his range alone is just impeccable. The fact that he can go from Sick Boy to Mr. Knightley to Sherlock to Jordan Chase is really something. Of all the actors I know, his range is the most impressive. But i love how bright and sunny this adaptation is. The colors, it is as vibrant as Emma should be! The Kate Beckinsale Emma is dark and terrifying to me, not at all suitable an adaptation. I like the Paltrow Emma a lot, but it's got the same issue the 2005 P&P has for me -- it's just too short. This is tonally just right, and the casting is lovely, and JLM is just at his dashing best. His face is so expressive, he is so capable of communicating so much without saying a word. His open jealousy of Frank Churchill is delightful to watch. His face when Emma tells him his secret is out at the ball! JLM is maybe the most underrated actor of his generation and I LOVE that he has been multiple Austen heroes. I maintain that in a future adaptation of Pride & Prejudice, an older JLM would make an EXCELLENT Mr. Bennet. He would convey the right amount of grumpy but fond beautifully.
Look. Do people realize JLM hates wearing period clothing AND hates dancing? And yet in Emma he's sashaying around in pink jackets looking amazing and is THAT convincing? That's called BRILLIANT ACTING!!
youtube
A tiny bit of Mr Knightley 2009 propaganda but I love that they put in that bit from the book where he looks like he's going to kiss Emma's hand when he's saying goodbye but then he hesitates and doesn't and I just...it's such a tiny detail but conveys so much!
GIF by myforeverworldofmovie
Itâs the only Emma adaptation that really hits the romance notes well. Knightleyâs crowning moment of awesome really feels like it (when he rescues Harriet from humiliation) and his subsequent dancing with Emma does make you feel a shift in their relations. Love this adaptation. - This Knightley and Emma in particular are equals. They quarrel, not because heâs telling her off, but because they can have an argument because they know each other, trust each other and care about each others opinions, and there is never a sense of domination of one over the other. This adds so much fire to the romance, and itâs so unusual for a romance of that era (or even one written today!!). - Emma is rich, clever and beautiful and as powerful as a woman of her age and situation could be at the time and she married Knightley for no other reason but because heâs her best friend and his company for the rest of her life will enrich her. - He even leaves his house to move in with her!
Captain Wentworth (1995):
Ciaran Hinds has that perfect ruggedness yet friendliness to his face that makes him the perfect charming Wentworth. And all of the longing that he manages to convey in his eyes is so hot.
Wentworth may be angry/resentful with Anne but in general he is charming and the best friend you could ever have. Ciaran gets the pleasant parts of his character and brings them out, while keeping a guarded coolness (protective camouflage) with Anne.
GIF by molinaesque
I dunno if this counts as propaganda or not, but Ciaran Hinds has a face that looks like it was jackhammered out of a shale cliff.
If a line like 'I am half agony...half hope' comes out of a face like that you know that man has a soul for poetry.
I can listen no longer in silence. I must speak to you by such means as are within my reach. You pierce my soul. I am half agony, half hope. Tell me not that I am too late, that such precious feelings are gone for ever. I offer myself to you again with a heart even more your own than when you almost broke it, eight years and a half ago. Dare not say that man forgets sooner than woman, that his love has an earlier death. I have loved none but you. Unjust I may have been, weak and resentful I have been, but never inconstant. You alone have brought me to Bath. For you alone, I think and plan. Have you not seen this? Can you fail to have understood my wishes? I had not waited even these ten days, could I have read your feelings, as I think you must have penetrated mine. I can hardly write. I am every instant hearing something which overpowers me. You sink your voice, but I can distinguish the tones of that voice when they would be lost on others. Too good, too excellent creature! You do us justice, indeed. You do believe that there is true attachment and constancy among men. Believe it to be most fervent, most undeviating, in
F. W.
I must go, uncertain of my fate; but I shall return hither, or follow your party, as soon as possible. A word, a look, will be enough to decide whether I enter your father's house this evening or never. Â
This is propaganda for the next round because I need my boy to be a finalist! But this letter is all the persuasion I need to know that he is a winner
youtube
CiarĂĄn Hinds in this is a whole other level of "a good man" He makes Anne's decision at the end so much more perfect.

a good time with shortform manga
Couple things I read in the last few months and liked!
My So-Called Artist's Journey by Akiko Higashimura (34 chapters)
This is on paper Akiko Higashimura's semi-autobiographical account of how she became a mangaka but also a story about being 40something and reflecting on significant mentor-mentee relationships you had when you were a teenager and an idiot and also about grief and regret and making art.... the protag is an ALL TIME flavor of selfish, silly, vain, and irresistibly charming and I love her with my whole heart.
Little Forest by Daisuke Igarashi (33 chapters)
I am a huge huge sucker for stories that feel hyperlocal and this is one of the MOST About A Specific Place stories I've read in a minute. It's a fictionalized account of the author's experience subsistence farming in rural northeast Japan. AND it's a cooking manga. Just an extremely lovely, meandering, recipe-a-chapter portrayal of day to day life (I am also a huge fan of stories where you can really FEEL the passage of time and this has got it in spades), with a healthy dose of "competent home cook just fucking around!" that I really enjoyed.
Girl's Last Tour by Tsukumizu (42 chapters)
GLT is pretty well known I think? End-of-the-world slice of life with two girls wandering through the ruins of an enormous postapocalyptic (very Very Blame!-flavored) city. I think Tsukumizu does such a good job keeping the tone chill and even while the characters are moving through desperate, scary, weird, and funny beats -- the vibes are like, "lighthearted hopeless" where the camera never lingers and things are rarely resolved. Had an extremely good time!
An Invitation From A Crab by panpanya (14 chapters, short story)
I THINK SHAUN TAN APPRECIATORS SHOULD READ INVITATION FROM A CRAB. Each chapter is a short story and they are funny and offbeat and weird and also basically never have a resolution. One part "hey, wouldn't it be fucked up if--" one part "here's a dream I remember like 2/3 of" one part just fun jokes! I immediately ordered a physical copy on finishing.
#thsi would have died in my drafts but i want to recommend invitation from a crab SO strongly#i loved all of these but it's so short and good

Part 12 Eddie
Brady tried to cut some corners to bring you and Alastor down but ends up just hurting himself.
ăWarnings/Promises: Human Alastor x Fem!Reader, still not smut cuz weâre waiting for the special moment, po-po, 5-0, down at the gun club, not an accurate portrayal of 1930s New Orleans Leadership, mystery kisses, brief thoughts of violence, illiteracy, @minkdelovelyă
MDNI đź đ
Edward Freeman met Kenneth Brady when the younger man was partnered with him. He was bright eyed, and had a sense of justice Freeman appreciated. He was already tired of the rigamarole of police work, so the fresh energy reinvigorated his early days and long nights. It was rather pointless though, police work, given the people in charge werenât fans of cracking down on the illegal booze business. It was making too much money under the tables and in handshakes.
The nation was still reeling from the crash of the market nearly two years prior. Any way to get ahead, to stay with your chin above the rising waters, well⊠what harm is there really in feeding your family? The end justifies the means, right? And Brady didnât seem to disagree too much with that sentiment.Â
So when the typically stringent, but otherwise soft spoken and relaxed, Brady began toâŠdevolve into someone a little too myopic, Freeman wasnât quite sure how to handle him. Theyâd been rather laissez-faire about the morality of things for so long. They tried to keep violence at a minimum so their fellow citizens could enjoy their city. That was the extent of it. But, Brady was becoming obsessed.Â
It started normally enough. Brady bringing up a missing husband. Later on, a missing bartender. Soon he was snooping on to otherâs cases, convinced something was connecting them.Â
But, given the times and the character of such people, well, Freeman couldnât quite understand Bradyâs fervor. Sure. Some of them probably ended up under backyards and in the water. Hell, quite a few of them heâd have helped do away once he got the real dirt on them. A conspiracy? Or a mass killer? That seemed implausible at best. There was simply no indication of a grande scheme.Â
Brady kept pushing. Walking the streets at night with ears open and eyes peeled, for any inkling of what was going on.Â
He just couldnât accept that sometimes people leave town or jobs. Very few of them were actually reported by loved ones, even the ones that had them.
Then came along the widow Dupre, watery eyed and shaking about her missing adult son. Who, from what theyâd uncovered, was a real piece of work.
Freeman let Brady start his investigation, but as it became clear he was adding it to his pile of random disappearances, Freeman had to step away. He could see the obsession ruining his friend.Â
At a rare dinner with the families, the stress on Bradyâs wifeâs face was visible for all to see. She cornered Freeman in the kitchen when he went for more coffee, asking if Brady was stepping out on her or if he truly had been working so hard on something big.Â
He hardly knew what to say. Neither were true. Heâd been working late, but on a wild goose chase.Â
When he dragged a clean cut and confused woman into the station, Freeman knew heâd really lost the fucking plot.Â
âSheâs his accomplice. I know it. Her fella is the man. Iâve got him fingered.â Brady pointed at you through the closed door. You werenât listening to their voices in the hall, the name still ringing in your head. The name you'd both sacrificed to keep secret.Â
Alastor.
Freeman hissed, âYou canât arrest people for knowing a guy! A boogie man at that, Kenny. Come on.âÂ
âI have her confession for prostitution. Itâs all clean and by the book. And, I have a witness.â Brady tapped Freemanâs arm with the back of his hand and led him down the hall to another room, âHe saw her and her guy throw a body in the river.â
Well, shit.
âYou found a body? The Dupre son?â Freeman considered what heâd said. The river? Why the river? Bodies didnât always make it to the sea. Itâd be a sloppy misstep for this supposed murderous mastermind.
Brady sighed, his parade a little rained on. â...No, but I have a witness right there. And, I got the name of her fella. I just need to find which station heâs at and Iâm off to the races. I bet you my house this guyâs good for it.â
Ah, so. He had next to nothing. Freeman just nodded and took a calming breath. âAlright, are we starting with the woman or this guy?â
âOh, for sure her.â Bready turned to open the door, but Freeman shot his hand out to stop him.Â
âAnd this is the one who gave you the runaround?â Freeman had heard so much about you already, he wanted to prepare himself for whatever tricky shrew was waiting for him. He followed his partner through the door and took you in fully. Your stare was distant and glassy. Youâd been crying and you seemed to be shaking slightly from the cold of the room as fallâs night air slipped in through the window.Â
You could, reasonably, be his daughter. A similar age for sure, similar build, same hair color. Same penchant for the wrong kinda guy, apparently.
He recalled all of the ways Brady had spoken about you. The image in his head was a bird faced woman with sharp eagle eyes and tight lips. Someone decidedly ugly with a permanent scowl and mischief behind quick glances.
And here was a woman, vulnerable and quite nice to look at it. Hair obviously groomed well when not manhandled by cops, and a rather handsome dress which indicated a good personality by the current standards. The shoulders had flat bows that let their ribbons fall onto your bare shoulders. Feminine. Suitable. Not much skin showing. otherwise. A burlesquer seemed to the kind who didnât wear clothes often, but he supposed everyone has a work uniform after all. Even the nude dancers. Who was he to judge you for your professional clothing requirements? You were here and modest and thatâs what mattered.
He took a seat, sliding the folder Brady had set down into the space in front of him. âI hear youâre not too fond of disclosing your personal information.â
It had been several hours since youâd arrived, and now they chose to grace you with their presence? Youâd been tossed into a room and left alone for so long, it seemed more like punishment than bureaucracy.
Bradyâs bright blue eyes only get clearer and darker with every ounce of anger you inspired in him. An angry sea churning up violently behind his mean mug. He was practically sneering at you.Â
âCan you blame me? The men in this city are certifiable. Case in point, this hound you call a cop.â You had the forethought to keep your shoulders pulled inward, gesturing with your chin.
âDetective.â Brady corrected.Â
âSame thing, jackass.â Eyes rolling, you pushed back against the chair causing the front legs to lift for a second. Returning your glare to him, you honed in on the messy details. You remembered his hair well from that first meeting in front of the cafe. It clearly had become oily and weighed down from less frequent washing. The skin under his eyes was looking dark and thin. âYou look like shit, by the way. Should sleep instead of bothering honest performers.â
âHa, there you are. True colors shining through finally.â
âHow was my mom? Not much of a talker.â
âFu-,â Brady flinched forward, chair squeaking against the linoleum floor. It took a tensing of your arms to keep from openly reacting.
âYaâll, enough. Now, donât be too sour with us. Weâre just working off your own words,â Freeman opened the folder to find your confession. It had been typed nice and neat and labeled DOE, JANE. He turned it to you briefly, eyebrows hitching as if to ask if you remembered it. You glanced at it long enough to see the conversation and names and nodded. Yes, youâd had that conversation. Brady must have typed it mostly from memory, you thought, or he had some quick shorthand. He brought it back to face him and as his eyes roamed the sheet, his shoulders stiffened. He wasnât seeing what he was expecting. âCould you-?,â he motioned for Brady to point out the part of your last conversation that constituted a confession. Brady tapped a line of text.Â
BRADY - Tell me about the dates Tommy arranged. DOE, JANE - Apparently many of the dancers agreed, got a cut. I had no idea about it until he introduced me to a man who was very forward. I insulted him and ran off. Lost Tommy good money, apparently. BRADY - And who was that? DOE, JANE - S something. Mister Stein? I honestly wasnât listening much after I realized what was happening. BRADY - And then he knocked you around? DOE, JANE - Yeah. Got me good. BRADY - And⊠the next date. Last time anyone saw Tommy. Tell me about that. DOE, JANE - Tommy said heâd kill me if I didnât go. So I did. Promised me heâd stay with me for protection. But as soon as he got his money he left.
Freemanâs head lifted slowly from the paper to look at you over the folder, across the table. Your arms were crossed, makeup smeared and running with long dried tears. Your hair mussed. His head turned with a crawl, weighted down with a steel ball of apprehensive horror, to look at Brady. He was leaning on the table with both elbows, staring at you like youâd busted out his car window and shot his dog.Â
âCan I speak to you for a moment?â He pushed back, resting his hand on Bradyâs shoulder and walking out. In the small room that looked into the interrogation room where the male witness fidgeted, he set the folder and your words down.Â
He motioned for Brady to close the door behind him. As soon as the latch clicked into place, he smacked the table.Â
âThat isnât a confession! Itâs a fucking victim statement, Kenny.â He looked through the one way glass at the man seated, âAnd he wrote a witness report?â He gestured with his head, the man Brady called Joseph sat quietly waiting for their return. His clothes were pulling at the seams, his fingernails crusted with dirt.Â
Brady nodded, âYeah. He came in yesterday and after he told me what he saw he wrote it down there and signed.â He was pointing to a piece of paper heâd left on the same table Kenny was now trying to use for stability. Trying was the keyword. His disbelief was dizzying.Â
A small laugh, petulant and bordering annoyed, left his lips. He grabbed a pen, wrote something down, and brushed past him. Freeman marched into the witness room, Brady closely following behind.
âSir, do me a favor and check Iâve spelt your name properly on this paperwork please.â He held it up. The man looked, found where Freeman's finger was pointing, and nodded.
Freeman looked at Brady with dead eyes, the shutdown of his feelings was an automatic attempt by his body to try and keep from grabbing Brady by the shirt in a fit rage, and turned the paper to reveal the name written to Brady.Â
Josanna. Written neatly in block letters.Â
Without breaking eye contact with Brady, âAnd just refresh my memory, sir, what was your statement in regards to again?â
Joseph cleared his throat, âI saw it happen. Down by the river.â
âSaw what happen?â
âThe crime.â
âWhat crime?â
âThe one with the guy and the girl. Itâs all in there.â
Freeman shoved the written statement into Bradyâs chest, âYou have half a second to get to the captainâs office before I do.âÂ
⊠. ăâș ă . ⊠. ăâș ă . ⊠. ăâș ă . ⊠. ăâș ă . âŠ
âThat man canât even read his own name let alone write. From what I can tell heâs a random homeless you plied with confiscated booze. What is going on with you?â The gray haired man bellowed from his chair, hands resting on a large pot belly.Â
âWhat does that matter! Itâs an illegal hooch den! Naked dancers! Race mixing! She admitted she-,â Brady was pacing a small three foot by three foot square in front of the desk. Freeman had his arms crossed while seated.
âA victim told you she was assaulted. And I-,â the captain leaned back in his chair, âYou know exactly how we feel about the wet spots in this city. The, uh, race thing is another issue butâ Kenny, youâre one more rogue act from losing your beat. Do you not get that?â
âRogue? Iâm doing legitimate police work. Iâm investigating crime! What the fuck is happening here?!â He stopped pacing long enough wave an apology to his boss for the language.Â
Freeman sighed, long and heavy. A huff of breath that somehow conveyed his disappointment better than words.
âI decide what constitutes police work and this is not that.â His boss shook his chair side to side, thinking about how to get Brady in line. âIt comes straight from the commissioner and the mayor above him. We arenât to hound the bars under our purview.â
âIâm not!â He started up pacing again, hands up and open in genuine confused frustration.Â
âYouâre harassing their dancers! Stalking around their establishments at night freaking people out!â He laughed in disbelief, âHer manager is outside now. Had to shut down for the night because of your little show.â
Brady put his hands on his hips and faced away from the captain. His face enough alone to have him dismissed.Â
âI know sheâs involved. I know her guy did it. And I know someoneâs killing people. Lots of people.â He said it confidently into the corner of the office.
âKenny. Enough.â Freeman shook his head and stood to leave.Â
âOne complaint about you and youâre being chained to a desk. Cut her loose, apologize, and go home. I donât wanna see you anymore tonight. Your freaky little eyes are getting under my skin.â His captain removed his small rounded glasses and rubbed his hands down his face, exasperated his life had come to telling men to stop doing their jobs.
⊠. ăâș ă . ⊠. ăâș ă . ⊠. ăâș ă . ⊠. ăâș ă . âŠ
While you were here anyway, and Brady shooed off Joseph, Freeman decided to speak with you again. He offered you a nod and took Bradyâs seat.
It was hard to be friendly, you found. Every minute or so you had to sniffle, nose running long after the tears dried up. Your eyelashes stuck together when you blinked.
âIâm afraid I didnât get your name, sir.â You sniffled again, hands warming your arms.
Freeman leaned over and offered you his hand, âDetective Eddie Freeman.â You shook it, keeping your hand rather limp to give the appearance of weakness.
âI just-,â he laughed as he set his hand on the table, clicking his ring twice out of habit, âI gotta ask. Did your fella kill Tommy? Are you in some kinda trouble?â
With a scoff and a shake of your head, you found yourself, âNo, but I wish he had. Whatâs the point of being good if people assume the worst of you anyway?â Reaching out for his hand again, you held his large one in both of your smaller ones, âAt least if heâd killed him Iâd be sure Tommyâs never coming back to keep his promise.â
Your mother always taught you to make yourself small. Remind the people you needed to believe you that you were not a threat. Play the part they always pigeon holed you into. It was easier than fighting the assumptions. There was power in deception.Â
âYour pal is really ruining my life. Even more than Tommy.â You squeezed, 30% strength. Â
When you looked up at him, he could only find you to be the image of pitiful girl, âLet me check some things and Iâll have Kenny sending you on your way, miss-?â
âDoe.â
âRight.â His ring rapped against the bright wooden door frame, two times, and your brief time knowing Freeman ended.Â
The paralysis set in as soon as the door was shut. You could hear Alastorâs name echoing around in your head, the sound so sharp it made fresh tears well. Brady had heard it, of course. It was for nothing. You worked so hard, kept his name off of your tongue despite the way it always felt so good there.Â
Conjured images of Alastor barging into the police station haunted you. What would he say in anger? Brady wasnât crazy, he was smart and lucky. Nothing could be worse. Alastor could say anything while mad, and Brady could make conclusions he had no business jumping to.
And then he was there in the room with you, and you had to return to the moment and try to calibrate yourself. Who were you now? He already knew you werenât the damsel in distress, he knew you werenât weak and frail. Right?
Maybe youâd just be yourself, like youâd let slipped earlier. Your mouth opened and his hand flew up, âDonât. Shut it.â
âExcu-â
âIâve been told to apologize and send you home.â
âOh? And are you?â
Brady smiled, and for a moment you forgot how scary that should be. âNo. Youâre a liar and youâre aiding a criminal. But you work in a place Iâm not supposed to bother. Luckily for me, Alastorâs work surely isnât one.â Your eyes rolled. Hearing him say the name was like hearing a dog sing opera. Unsettling and unnatural. Perhaps a little impressive from a distance. Unfortunately you were front row and center.
Time with you felt so rare, he wanted to keep you a little longer but couldnât think of what to say or do. Briefly he entertained grabbing you and violently shaking you until you confessed. He managed to find the strength to bury that down, mouth opening instead in preparation for words he didnât have yet.Â
âCan I go home now?â Rubbing your arms to make it clear how uncomfortable you were, you cut him off like he had you. Not that he had anything to say.Â
Brady motioned with his thumb down the hall and said, âYour guy isnât here to pick you up. Funny name by the way. I got a complaint for an Alastor last week. Socked some man for no good reason. Sounds like a violent fella, kinda guy with a temper when someone speaks Iâll of his lady, or fiancĂ©e, Iâm toldâŠAnyway, dropped the case since the guy wouldnât give any more information but maybe I should follow up.â
âAre you so sure I have one, a guy that is?â You simply couldnât admit Alastor was yours. Never. Not for Brady. âNo oneâs coming for me. No oneâs punched anyone for me either. Though, Iâm flattered you think Iâm worth the charge. Am I free to leave?â The little tug of your lips into a halfhearted grin warmed you. It was thrilling, lying to his face when you both knew the truth.
He didnât move. He couldnât let you take this moment from him. Heâd made a massive victory in this personal war and your nonchalant attitude was making something in the back of his skull itch. Somewhere beneath his bone. A new sensation.
A brief and violent flash of knocking the smirk off your tear stained face startled him. You noticed him swallow hard, expression shifting from amused to bewildered. From the outside, all you could read was a frightened widening of his eyes.
âBradyâŠ? If youâre waiting for some man to collect me, Iâll be here all night.â Your voice was softer now, while you couldnât uncover what was happening in his head, you could tell he was in some kind of turmoil.
A man unable to control his face was often a man unable to control his hands.
His legs lifted his body up and dragged him over to the door. He opened it, slowly, before leaning against the wall beside it to ensure you passed him in close quarters. He knew he couldnât keep you there forever.
Maybe this Alastor was a real rough fellow. So cruel he wouldnât even care if his dame was in a bind. The kind of man to abandon his closest allies when cornered. Maybe he really wasnât coming for you. Which was fine, he told himself. Heâd be seeing him soon.
Following you out, he took the walk as an opportunity to warn you again.
âThis wonât end like you think it will.â He said it too loudly for how close he was to you, âIt never does for the women.â He stopped at the stationâs front desk and leaned into the glossy wooden counter, âOh! I almost forgot! Congrats on the engagement.â
Turning to say a harsh good night, you caught yourself and turned back, exiting through the station doors without another word to him. No need for polite pleasantries anymore. The game was well and truly over for you.Â
âOh thank god,â Johnny was sitting on the steps of the station and jumped to his feet when you came out, a sight you werenât expecting. You stopped, confused. He smiled seeing your brows knit and eyes wander past him in search of someone else, âI was going to bail you out but they said there wasnât any need. Alastor is waiting for you.âÂ
Like a leak in the hull of your iron-sided ship, it seemed the second Ruth so sweetly dripped that name into Bradyâs waiting maw the ocean was spilling in. Every time you heard it fall from another personâs mouth the breach in your metal barriers tore wider. If the Titanic could sink in calm weather what luck did Alastor and you have in the tempest of Bradyâs fervor?
âOhâŠ,â you tried to hide the dejection. He sent Johnny? That was smart, but, why did it sting?
Perhaps it was his six sisters, or maybe he was genuinely a good man, but Johnnyâs heart ached at the pitiful tone. He leapt up two steps, âHe wanted to come! But I told him it was a bad idea. Tempers and all that. Donât need any more issues for you tonight. Though admittedly he didnât seem mad, necessarily.â
A slow nod. Johnny told Alastor what to do? Your eyes looked to the left, that was an odd mental image.
âThanks, Johnny. I need to return to the theater first.â Your hand reached out for his arm and gave it a squeeze, âI appreciate you.â
âDont mention it. And your bag is with Alastor.â He let his hand come to yours, âHeâs kind of a mess, that one.â
You tensed, accidentally pinching his arm in a flit of panic before drawing it back, âDid he drive home like that?â
He shook his head and handed you the card, âHe said,â a pause as his eyes rolled up to search for the exact words, âto tell the host youâre there for him. Called it the Golden Dish, but the card doesnât mention anything like thatâŠ. Sorry, I didnât think to ask more questions. Like I said, he seemed out of sorts.â
You looked down to inspect it, nervous at the sudden introduction of a paper trail. Nodding, you finally took it with both hands. The face was rather plain: an address in the corner with just the number and street, and an interlocked G and D in the center. Turning it over, you found a pink lipstick kiss stained haphazardly across the back and a small squiggle. Your thumb ran over the clipped right bottom corner.Â
What was the Golden Dish? And who was kissing Alastorâs business cards?

i just rewatched âthe woman who fell to earthâ a couple of days ago for the first time since it aired back in 2018 and the more i think about it, the more i like it.
thirteen is the only doctor for whom i feel a tangible, rose-tinted nostalgia. she wasnât my first doctor, but she was the first doctor i watched live, the first doctor that i spent an actual extended period of time with over the episode rollout. her intro episode has middling parts (as can be expected with most episodes of Who) but thereâs also so much good that i really want to highlight.
first of all, there are some really great character dynamics set up here. much more interesting than i remember, tbh. ryan is a guy who loves mechanics but is stuck in a warehouse job he hates, a guy who obviously wants to connect to people, a guy who by the end of the episode has lost both his mother and grandmother in the space of a couple of years and the step-grandfather he didnât really want is all he has left (minus his absent father). thatâs interesting.
yaz has a keen sense of justice and this raw, intense yearning to help people, to do something worthwhile, something more - the way she has chosen to express that is through law enforcement, but itâs not quite giving her the satisfaction she wants. thatâs interesting.
grahamâs experience with cancer means that he constantly feels like heâs living on borrowed time. meeting grace gave him purpose, gave him family, gave him the will to fight when he fought it was all but over, but now grace is gone. he and ryan arenât related, but theyâre family, and now theyâve got to figure out how to care for each other without the very lynchpin that brought them together. once again with feeling: interesting!
âiâm just a traveller. sometimes i see things that need fixing. i do what i can.â i like that they circle back to the âjust some guyâ portrayal of the doctor here, both because itâs the one iâm partial to and because it feeds particularly well into the whole âthe doctor is an unreliable narratorâ aspect, especially in the wake of the increased deification in the moffat era. it's a nice set up, even if it gets completely overhauled circa series 12/13. in fact, having thirteen keep this as a persistent attitude throughout the Timeless Child of it all could have been really effective re: her reticence with her companions and refusal to address or deal with her past.
the scene where thirteen builds her sonic screwdriver might be one of my favourite sequences in nuwho. i love that itâs a hybrid of alien tech and sheffield steel. i also love that they highlight the âmad inventorâ side of the doctor here (her teleportation circuit is based around a microwave?) and wish that they had carried it forward more. it would have been the perfect basis for her to bond with ryan over. jodie also pulls off the humour of the episode well, considering the significant shift from moffat dialogue.
i enjoy thirteen's outfit: the vibrancy of it as mirroring her childish excitability, but also as another part of the mask - if i dress all colourful then maybe i can ignore/outrun/masquerade my great capacity for darkness! etc etc. the shopping trip with yaz and ryan is a bit shoe-horned in at the end but it's cute that she finds it in a charity shop. (back in 2018 i bought a t-shirt with a couple of stripes across the chest solely because it remotely resembled the one she wore lol. nerd from a young age, me.) jodie also looks soo hot in capaldi's outfit though so a spin on the traditional suit would also have been appreciated.
some miscellaneous points: i like that she tells Karl off (âyou had no right to do thatâ) right after saving him. i like that she gets it wrong at first and makes it clear that sheâs working on the fly. sheâs following her instinct, and that instinct is to help people. doctor who has been beautiful before but the cinematography takes such a huge step this era. âitâs been a long time since i bought womenâs clothesâ i am choosing to believe this is about river thank you and good night.
#if you read all of this you are so brave and also i love you#accidental essay#'potential' is the chibnall era in one word tbh#excuse inaccurate comparisons i do not remember enough about this era and what they carry forward#thirteen#thirteenth doctor#doctor who#the woman who fell to earth#ryan sinclair#yasmin khan#graham o'brien

I got a question but I need an objective answer please. So I saw a lot of people complain about Yui being written in a very bad way in Ayatoâs routes starting with More Blood and was curious if you think that she became a bad girlfriend as the story progressed?
// I will analyze Yuiâs versions from Ayatoâs routes and provide an answer at the end of this post.
More Blood:
Even from the first two chapters we are aware of the fact that Yui got a big crush on Ayato merely because of his looks and pleasure he gave her. At first sight, these reasons seem very superficial, but at the same time you canât blame her completely for that. Yui went to a normal school and used to read magazines for teens, therefore itâs obvious she would have hormones and fall in love with someone who got features portrayed as the beauty standard.
It's understandable why some found her annoying, as she repeatedly cried for Ayato's love without making any real effort to earn it. Apart from giving him her blood, she didn't try to understand what he was going through, even when she noticed changes in him that made him crave so much blood.
Nevertheless, I believe that she did redeem herself in the last chapters, where she admitted being selfish and only thinking about her own desires, instead of focusing on Ayatoâs struggles too. I know she paralyzed him out of jealousy and cheated on him in the bad endings, but in the good one, sheâs actually a really loyal person. Yui waited years for Ayato to wake up from the coma and Ayato searched for Yui for years in his dream until he finally woke up. This ending confirmed the genuineness of their love.
In the After Story, Ayato planned to attend university for Yui's sake, aiming to get a job and buy a house. Yui helped Ayato with his studies and praised his skills. Initially, she fell for his looks, but in the After Story, she mentioned falling in love with him again because of his caring, determined, and hardworking personality.
Vandead Carnival & Lunatic Parade:
I really liked Yui in both of Ayato's routes and honestly, I can't find anything to criticize about her behavior.
It's not that Yui was a bad partner; it's just that Ayato was portrayed as too good, such as when he ran through flames for her or protected her from a bomb explosion. But that's likely because these are fan service games, where the love interests are designed to be your knights in shining armor. xD
Dark Fate:
I absolutely loved Yuiâs portrayal in that route. It was the sweetest version of Yui Iâve ever seen, and I really enjoyed seeing her so happy and soft. Regarding her relationship with Ayato, he was truly the apple of her eye, lol.
The only problematic thing she did was pushing Ayato to face his abuser, Cordelia, even though he didnât want to. I honestly donât care if a character does something to another character, as long as it doesnât affect them and the story, so since Ayato didnât get mad at her for that, I didnât mind it much either. However, from an objective point of view, I agree that doing such a thing is quite bad. Being in the presence of someone who ruined your life can trigger intense memories and forcing a confrontation removes the victim's agency in deciding how to cope with their trauma. Ayato might not have been mad at Yui for planning that, but if it had been Laito, Iâm sure he would have shown why Yui was in the wrong.
Other than that, she was a kind and supportive girlfriend throughout the whole route, clearly having no ill intent, and I appreciate that she had an actual important role in the route.
Lost Eden:
Ok, I really canât defend her anymore there. She literally had no redeeming qualities, no matter how many times she got the chance to fix herself. I discussed my thoughts about LE Yui in this post, but Iâll sum it up.
She tried to convince Ayato that despite Cordelia abusing him, she actually did it because she âcared about his futureâ, and then acted surprised when Ayato started feeling uncomfortable because of her words.
Yui knew the reasons behind Ayatoâs behavior, yet when his brothers started mocking him, she didnât even try to defend him. Everyone ganged up on Ayato, and he was on the verge of a panic attack, yet she remained silent.
Another terrible scene was in one of the last chapters, when Ruki admitted to turning the Vibora Clan and Church organization against Ayato out of envy, aiming to kill him. Instead of criticizing Rukiâs actions, Yui justified them and spoke ill of Ayato behind his back. I wouldnât like to date someone who claims to love me but keeps hurting me without learning anything⊠It felt as if Ayato only continued being together with her because he had no one else. No wonder he didnât marry her there.
Chaos Lineage:
I found Yui quite boring in CL in general, but she started off as determined and sweet in his route, so I liked that.
For most of the route, Yuiâs entire personality seemed to revolve around Ayato, and she didnât do much. There were many cheesy moments between them that made me cringe. Still, Iâm sure a certain audience enjoyed those.
My only complaint is that when his brothers started treating Ayato unfairly, despite the fact that he came up with the idea of breaking the glass floor of the church, Yui did nothing to defend him, again.
However, I do appreciate that she gave him that adorable monologue. I just wish she had done it in front of others instead of only acting when Ayato was already insecure and sad.
Now⊠letâs see what kind of girlfriend Yui was in each route by judging her progress:
MB: Good
VC: Good
DF: Very good
LP: Good
LE: Very bad
CL: Decent

Question my lovely Levi fanfic writer
First off: thank you for always feeding me, itâs glorious
Now onto my question: how do you think Levi would react to his S/O giving birth? I know for the time period they were kind of placed it, it could seem odd for men to be in the waiting room, what kind of person do you think Levi would be in the delivery
Itâs giving acting like he knows whatâs going on to keep his partner confident but definitely mentally freaking the fuck out
Hi! Hi! How are you?
Aww, no, thank you! Thank you for reading and stopping by my inbox to leave some love. <3 I truly appreciate it. <3
Oh, this scenario is one I think about often. I really love the show "Call the Midwife," and it gives a realistic portrayal of what giving birth was like in the past. Indeed, men were rarely allowed inside the delivery room. Typically, if they were brought in, it was because something had gone wrong, and they needed to make a heartbreaking decision between saving the mother or the babyâa terrible practice.
If Levi were forced to wait outside the delivery room, I can just picture him wearing away the marble floors with his pacing. Heâd be thinking, "I should be in there," torn apart inside because he could hear her screams but also desperately hoping to hear the healthy cry of his baby and know his wife is safe. Levi isnât religious, but he might find himself praying that night for a few hours. I imagine him muttering, "I should be doing something," and perhaps a member of the medical staff or Hange, there for moral support, might quip, "Your only job in this whole process was done the night you got her pregnant, shorty."
BUT! Letâs consider another scenario. Levi might take his wife to the hospital or perhaps choose to have the birth at home, as was common back then. When the midwives try to close the door on him, heâd insist, "Iâm staying with her."
"Men arenât allowed."
"And whoâs going to stop me?" heâd reply, with that deadpan voice and deathly glare Zeke knows too well. Good luck opposing humanityâs strongest soldier. If heâs allowed in, Levi would stay with her the entire time, especially if sheâs scared. He doesnât want to miss seeing his child born, but his priority is being there for her.
Heâd let her crush his hand and curse his name as much as she needs to. Whatâs the point of his strength if he canât support his wife? I agree, Levi would pretend everything is "alright" and that heâs "calm," thanks to those Ackerman genes.
But the moment the baby is placed on her chest and starts crying with full lungs, and she seems alrightâcrying out of confusion and happiness too, probablyâLevi would kiss her head, thanking her and praising her hard work. Heâd feel his legs shaking, mostly because the situation was completely out of his control. Thereâs nothing he could do except tell her, "Youâre amazing."
He might even feel his hands shaking as he holds the baby in his arms, sitting beside her as she rests. Levi would gently rock the baby, unable to stop marveling, saying, "Heâs so tiny⊠but his hands are perfectly formed. Heâs truly a tiny human⊠and you did all this."
She would hum in agreement, and for once, Levi would be the one saying, "Oi, try to be a bit more enthusiastic. Look how handsome he is⊠he looks like you."
She might joke, "Because we both look swollen, red, and a disaster?"
"Tch, no. I was going to say he has your nose."
I adore this one! I hope you like it too! Thank you for reading! <3
Stay safe!

I wanna keep this brief (graphic design is my passion level effort but also it kinda works in a really funny way) !!! I wanna let you all know I appreciate the love you've given Zagreus and I'm so so happy to be here. You're all great and wonderful and I could say so many good things to say about each and every one of my mutuals. So fuck it, that's what I'mma do. Because you all truly deserve it. I'm super happy with Zagreus and being able to share my portrayal and have it be well received means so much !!! It's easy to say 'thank you all so much' but I want to acknowledge that I truly do appreciate and care about each and every one of my mutuals, even if my time / availability makes it tough at times. PART 1/4
@withinchains / @hercarnality : Elle you already know how much ily so I'm gonna keep this short. You're such an amazing friend and writer and you already have the screenshot about me gushing pinned so eat my shorts and play arams with me. Your Morgana is to die for and you write every character to a fucking T because of how you just interpret all their personalities and put them into words SO effortlessly.
@lasraichean : NEMO U SMELL LIKE BEEF and I think you're fantastic. You pour so much effort into all your OCs and that passion does you so much credit. You absolutely shower Annie with love in such a way that I shower everyone else with unrequested amounts of fromsoft lore so MWAH.
@blackrosesmatron : Lucy your LB is fantastic and you're so easy to talk to and communicate with. Genuinely every time we sit down and plot I find myself getting so enthralled in her antics and character. You do her so much justice
@avernusfuries : HAN You single handedly made me like Karlach and that isn't even a joke. Before we met and started writing I always thought her story was one of the weaker ones and you somehow managed to turn her into one of the more realized characters in the game. HATS OFF TO YOU and every day I beg for more of this big doofus.
@feuerwizard : Crys I know I need to get back to you for plotting things, I've just been so busy but I want to say: You and some of the other CR writers you write with are so talented and I adore reading your posts. Were it not for you guys I still probably wouldn't have any interest in CR and I'm so so excited to get started with more stuff and actually get threads going!
@soulcluster : Lilah I think all your portrayals are excellent. Your MM deserves all the attention it gets and I honestly couldn't pick a favorite muse if gave me truth serum. Plotting with you is a blast and I'm so thankful for all the ideas we pass between eachother!
@pitgritted : Your Sett, Taric, and Mutli are all so well done Jojo. I can tell you really care about all the people you write and it shines so brightly, right down the amount of detail you place into every reply and how you format things. Passion shows in the end and this is no exception!!
@palespawn : This sassy motherfucker. We've only just started writing and I still need to get to replies but you've showed interest since almost day one and I cant say how much I appreciate that. Courtney you do such a beautiful job with the twink, I almost dont wanna stab him. Almost~
@infinitysagas : I first of all wanna say thank you for writing such underappreciated characters. To see Damon get love brings me so much joy, I always take a second to read his posts when I see them come up. I know we haven't done a ton but please know that I see your writing and totally wanna do stuff, I'm just very busy skdjhf.
@deathdxnces : Irelia was a character I never cared about too much, but how you humanize her so much and have expanded on her character beyond what Riot's given us does SO much for me. I actually adore how you portray her, Mel, and I wish to get writing at some point soon!! I know you liked a starter a bit ago and I do plan to get to that, but please do not hesitate to hit me up for plotting in the meantime. It really does help and I promise I don't bite!!
@tealbeats : I know you're not super active on Ez (and I still owe you a lot of stuff actually) but I wanna say I love the amount of his personality you're able to paint into every interaction. You have such a way of making him the perfect amount of insufferable (in the best way) while still twisting it in SUCH an endearing light. I love that annoying little bug and I'm so glad you do too, because it really shows.
@agonizedembrace : Han it's been really nice to reach out and get into contact again. You're genuinely a really funny, interesting, and thoughtful person who cares about Evelynn in such a way that brings out every aspect of her character. The agony, the sex appeal, the sass, the confidence, you just nail all of it and I'm really hoping we can get stuff going soon!
@bendwill : Elder scrolls blogs are few and far between, but Miraak is absolutely one of those characters that deserves to be more written out. We haven't gotten to do a ton but please don't hesitate to hit me up and scream ideas at me, the idea of Tamrielic Zagreus is very fascinating to me. (And also I need somebody to ramble about my Oblivion D&D Campaign ideas with skdfjh)
@ofweave : First of all, trans gale is based as fuck and you have a vision. Second of all, I know you're on hiatus but once you come back I'd be so happy to get the ball rolling with this stinky wizard man!!
@kismetwilled : I'm not gonna lie, seeing how you pour effort into your headcanons and thoughtful replies kind of inspired me to do similar with my own. I also want to say that I'd love to plot more and yell ideas all day with you, your style is gorgeous and I find myself appreciating characters on your blog I've never even heard of or are barely familiar with. Seriously Dani, it's top tier and I'm so happy to be mutuals.
@enrogued : We haven't gotten anything started with but I'm so hyped. Rogue as a character has such fascinating potential with her powers, and that's not to mention her attitude towards others in general. Once stuff gets started I'm probably never gonna shut up in your DMs but like that's a constant sdfjkh STILL!!
@lunarrepel : Shadowheart my beloved. The aesthetics, writing, dialog, everything you do with her is SO on point and I can't get over it. I was already biased and liked her after Larian adjusted her a bit during the beta phase of BG3 but still. Man you just nail her and I'm so excited to develop these two out. They give wine aunt energy and THAT alone gives me so much life.
@dreadgloom / @cinderschild : I wont lie to you I was GIDDY when I found out you wrote a WoTR character. I honestly expected that fandom to have more of a presence on tumblr but I'll take what small fanclub we can get right?? And also can I comment on the takes you have from Salvatore are absolutely genius and play really well into WoTC's drow?? Genuinely fantastic worldbuilding and it's always a pleasure to see you crop up on the dash.
@nightsbloom : Your headcanons and replies have been gorgeus and I just want to say despite me being really busy and not getting around to approaching yet, I'm so excited??? Also a while back you reblogged a Qimir gifset and it's still living rent free in my head so thank you for the food chef--- Please though, if you have any thoughts or even just dynamic ideas - toss them at me at mach 5 and I will run with them because I'm HYPE.
@spiderwarden : I think you officially win the title of Minthara's #1 fan. Her performance (as I've mentioned) is absolutely captivating, as is your writing. I'm very excited to see where her interactions with Zagreus go and writing with you (or even just seeing your random hc posts and comments) is such a blast. I will always sit down and listen to you ramble about her, I think she's so fascinating and that's in no small part to how you manage to inject so much life and love into her despite all the cut content.
#| mun. |#I LOVE Y'ALL SM#I wasnt sure how to thank you all in the right way so I just#thanked you all#KJFHDKJFDHKDF#IT MEANS THE WORLD TO ME AND TO THOSE WHO I HAVENT INTERACTED WITH?? Please#Please send me stuff bc I see you and I want to do things!!

Yuuta Okkotsu x afab!reader
wc: 4.1k
warning(s): established relationship, friends to lovers implied, heavy petting, fingering, masturbation, oral (reader receiving), choking (reader receiving), instance of breath play as a result, slight corruption kink from Yuuta, inexperienced reader, a single instance of slightly mean Yuuta, readerâs chest anatomy is not referenced/described
a/n: first NSFW piece in a VERY long time, was picked from the poll so here you go! hope you all enjoy :)! Also jus wanna say there is NOTHING weird or wrong about being a virgin at any age just so you guys know <33 𫶠also in case it needs to be said, this is an unrealistic portrayal of participating in kink for the first time! Boundaries and safety should be discussed at length before these things, but this is fiction so just wanted to make that clear đđ€ anyways enjoy <3
âYuuta, stop! I donât wanna talk about it!â You whined and buried your face further into his chest hoping to spare yourself of the embarrassment from the conversation youâre sure the two of you are about to have.
âSweetheart, Iâm your boyfriend, you knew it was gonna come up sooner or later. Besides, youâre literally the one who started the conversation! Thereâs no way youâre getting out of it now.â He let out a few boyish chuckles as he tried to pry your face away from him and out of the covers, just to see you pressing your lips together and closing your eyes in protest.
Sure, did you figure at some point the fact you havenât gone farther than holding hands and sharing a few quick pecks was gonna be brought up? Probably. Especially after 4 whole months of being in a relationship? Maybe. Did you think itâd be right now? No! But is it your fault? Unfortunately, yes.
Youâd known Yuuta long before the two of you started dating, having been apart of his friend group since freshman year of high school, and youâve always had a secret crush on your friend. He was kind, never failed to make you smile, charmingly awkward (so charming you almost thought he faked it), & all things endearing. It wasnât until a few months ago, now in your fourth and final year at University, that the two of you had confessed your feelings for the other. You had a bottle of tequila and Maki to thank for that.
And honestly, it couldnât have been more perfect since. He was still sweeter than ever, a complete gentleman always, and even though itâd only been a couple months heâs never failed to make you constantly feel cared for and appreciated. There was only one problem: how were you supposed to tell him youâve lied about every instance of you hooking up ever? And you havenât even done so much as grind on someone, let alone fuck?
Maybe you could blame it on Yuuji, heâs the one who brought it up the first time anyways, innocently teasing you about how âyou probably donât even know how to give headâ. He was 16, and all 16 year old boys are stupid as shit - besides Yuuta you suppose - so youâll forgive him for it.
âFuck you Yuuji, youâre just saying that cause youâre embarrassed you canât last longer than 10 seconds inside a girl.â
âThat literally happened once, and it was my first time! What, youâre telling me your first time was any better?â
It was just humiliating to think of looking at your friends, who definitely werenât virgins anymore (besides Toge, maybe Toge, you never really trusted his whole story - but thatâs beside the point), and tell them yeah no, I havenât even seen a dick in person!
âNo, he was ass, too.â You did your best to not draw attention to the way your palms were sweating profusely, fighting every instinct in you to wipe them off on the denim of your jeans.
âYep, fits the bill.â Mai rolled her eyes at the thought of her own experience with a man, mustâve been pretty bad.
Itâd make more sense to blame it on your age than Yuuji really, looking back it wouldnât have been embarrassing for more than a couple weeks at most to have admitted you were a virgin when the matter was pressed. But thatâs not what past you thought, and now itâs current youâs problem.
âI know, I know, but now I change my mind. I shouldnât have said anything.â Your lips are pushed out and puckered slightly from the way Yuuta has your cheeks squished together - his best effort at making you smile right now.
He lets go of your cheeks to squeeze your shoulder gently, looking at your face for a moment before speaking softly.
âYou know you can tell me anything, right? Iâd never judge you for anything, make comments, nothing. Swear on it.â His voice dipped low with sincerity as he dramatically âcrossed his heart and hoped to dieâ, it was a little goofy but thatâs okay.
It was hard to speak while he was staring down at you like that, you knew heâd be nothing but gentle and kind, but the thought of actually talking about it made your stomach twist ân turn.
âUhâ, your voice trembled more than youâd like to admit and it did nothing to help your nerves, âI guess I asked what youâd do if I lied about not being a virgin cause, Iâm, like, a virgin. Yeah.â You mightâve stumbled through your sentence, but you got there eventually.
His hand continued to rub circles on your skin as he spoke, âWell, I kind of figured that much when you first asked that, cause why else would you. Is that all you wanted to tell me though?â
Glancing up to meet his eyes, you were confused, visibly confused. Was that it? Was he really not gonna pester about why you lied, when you lied, or why youâre grown and still a virgin?
You squinted your eyes and hummed quietly, unreasonably suspicious of him - which he could clearly see.
Rolling his eyes playfully, he groaned out your name and pulled your face close to his so you couldnât escape him even if you wanted to.
âYa know, I was kind of talking about the first question you asked me. The one before you cut me off and changed the subject with the whole âIâm a virgin thing.â I want to talk to you about that.â
Youâre sure you were listening, itâs just that his face was so close to you that his breath was intermingling with yours, and you could practically taste the gum he was chewing while studying earlier. Not only that but his eyelashes were so pretty and doll like from this angle, looking up at him with his hands still on your cheeks. And his hands were so warm and soft - or was your face warm?
âAre you really ignoring me right now?â He wondered where your mind wandered to, cause clearly with the way you were looking at him with hearts in your eyes and invisible stars circling around your head - you couldnât have been listening to him.
âHuh?â
Yeah, you definitely werenât listening to him.
âBaby, are you okay with talking about what you asked me earlier? Itâs okay if the answer is no.â His eyes were glued to your face as your own darted around the room.
You wanted to speak up but your throat was dry and your face was hot, and honestly it felt like your jaw was wired shut; a simple nod will have to do.
It felt like the room was getting smaller at the lack of a response from Yuuta until you felt him lean just a tad closer and gently press his lips to your cheek, âwould you rather me show you how I take care of myself, or tell you?â
Oh.
Goosebumps rose along the back of your neck and down your arms at the soft volume of his voice in your ear and the way his breath fanned across your cheek.
âBoth, please.â The tenor of your voice matched his as your hands fiddled nervously with the hem of your shirt, unsure what to with them while he moved to give you a kiss and sit up in front you.
The embarrassment of how you asked Yuuta how to give a hand job from earlier began to fade and be replaced with curiosity and eagerness at the sight of Yuuta reaching down to palm at himself.
It was still embarrassing, staring so shamelessly at his growing bulge in obvious intrigue and desire, but it was Yuuta, and Yuuta would never make you feel bad for having human urges and wanting him in this way.
Hesitantly, once he was ready, he tugged at the fabric of his pajama pants until he was fully exposed. He was happy you were so needy and awe struck at the sight of him, because your undivided attention to the way his cock sits in his hand is making him blush.
He spreads his legs just as much as the stretch of his bottoms let him while he dips forward to drip spit in the direction of his lap, his wrist catching the fabric of his shirt and exposing a tease of his lower stomach as he spreads the spit along the length of his cock. Leaning back into a more comfortable position, you take in the way heâs exposed himself to you, his stomach visibly clenching as he rubs his thumb along the slit at the tip of his cock.
It was firm in his hand, and you couldnât help but squeeze your thighs together from where you sat watching at the vulgarity of it all. His loud and unashamed whimpering, his leaking and twitchy cock, and the way his eyes were never closed, always watching your face, when you would flick your own up to get a peek at his reactions.
You thought maybe heâd be a little more bashful, slow and careful with what he wanted to show you, but if anything, it seems like heâs been waiting for you to ask.
âYou like watching me stroke my cock, hm baby?â
Your clit began to throb at the sudden recognition and reminder that youâre involved just as much as he is, as well as the sound of him speaking, and speaking directly at you.
âAnswer me angel, even a nodâs okay. Wanna make sure my babyâs feeling good.â His voice was hoarse, but soft, and the sentiment did nothing more than increase your arousal and send butterflies rampant in your stomach.
Settling further into the situation, and gaining some confidence in return, you make your way over to him slowly as you nod your head.
âWant you to tell me, Yuuta.â Your voice is small, quiet.
âTell you what, pretty?â
Heâs got an air of fake innocence around him as he speaks but you couldnât care less when youâre so close that you can hear his soft and barely audible panting, and smell the light scent of musk and sweat begin to gather along his clothed skin from his excitement and exertion. Youâd give him anything he wants at this point, and youâre certain he knows it.
âYuuta,â, you whine and move in his direction, hovering over his lap with his cock not quite close enough to press against your covered cunt as he strokes himself, âwant you to tell me how it feels.â
The pair of you groan together at the lewdness of it all, both of you reveling in the freedom to finally explore your deep attraction for another, no longer embarrassed or fearful to admit or indulge in it.
âFuck, feels so good baby. âM so hard with you watching me like this. You like knowing youâve got me and my cock this needy without even touching me?â Whining at his response, you lean into him and sloppily place your lips on his, ignoring the urge to smack him on his chest as he chuckles a, âyeah?â, into your mouth at your eagerness.
You both kiss, messy and loud, as you reach and drag your hand down his torso, lightly drawing circles onto Yuutaâs exposed lower stomach with your fingertips.
A strained groan comes from him at the sensation, sighing into your mouth as he sits up to be impossibly closer to you. It was all too much.
He could feel the heat from your body as your thighs squeeze him from each side, hear the crude noises your pussy makes each time you adjust, and he could just imagine how needy your poor cunt would smell. Feeling his stomach tighten and his head get cloudy, he knew he was close, and he wanted you to watch.
âFuck, youâre gonna make me come baby.â Yuutaâs lips were soft and slick with spit as he spoke against yours, while you felt a hand slide from the back of your neck up to the top of your head, turning you to face down and stare at the way his fist was feverishly tugging at his cock.
âWant my sweetheart to watch how hard theyâre gonna make me come, how good theyâre taking care of me and my cock.â His voice was strained and low, out of breath, and if you werenât desperate to watch his cock get some release, you would have protested at the sudden lack of kissing.
âPlease, need you to show me baby.â You whined and wrapped your hand around Yuutaâs wrist gently, moving in time with the way he was stroking himself.
Hearing your voice was all he needed to let himself go, throwing his head back and getting his sternum sticky with cum as it stained his t-shirt. His balls and cock twitched as he slowed down his movements, whining when he rubs the tip once more, not wanting it to be over. If it wasnât for the way you were still hovering over his lap, he wouldâve let himself stay like this for a while longer, catching his breath and resting his eyes.
But he could see how bad you needed him, your chest heaving and your body hot against his.
Pulling you into his chest, he speaks against your shoulder softly between gentle kisses, âWant me to take care of you too, baby?â
Your body jolts at the prospect, nerves riddling your muscles and your stomach, making you feel almost weak. The thought made you self-conscious just as much as it made you feel exhilarated, but you couldnât deny the way your cunt was throbbing and hot. You needed him bad, and you could trust Yuuta. You always could.
Words were too hard, like they often were with him in intimate moments like this (the thought of your first date briefly crosses your mind), so you substitute a pleading âyesâ for another messy, longing kiss.
âI got you angel,â, was all he said before you were leaned back on the pillows, Yuuta hovering above you with soft wisps of his hair tickling the sides of your face.
You knew you could trust Yuuta, he always knows what his baby needs.
Delicate fingers graze across your side until they reach the waist band of your bottoms, running back and forth along the top as Yuuta chuckles softly at the way your stomach twitches, waiting for a sign of permission.
A warm hand tugging Yuutaâs in the direction of your heat is all he needs before sliding his hand between your thighs to rub heavy and slow circles onto your clit beneath your shorts.
âOh, god.â You breathe out and close your eyes, letting him take his time in making you feel good.
Your hole ached every time he dipped a finger down to tease your entrance, gathering more of your arousal to rub into your puffy clit. He was such a tease even when he didnât mean to be, couldnât he tell you needed him inside? Canât he imagine how empty your poor hole feels? Doesnât he know how often youâve fucked yourself with your fingers or favorite toy, imagining itâs really him inside instead?
âYuuta.â
The desperate call of his name makes his stomach flip, eyes quickly searching across your face for a sign of discomfort, ââM here baby, what do you need?â
Sitting up slowly, your face stops inches from his as you shimmy your way out of your bottoms. Laying back down, you open your legs wide and spread your pussy for Yuuta to see, another hand rubbing at your clit slowly.
ââS too empty, baby.â You fight back the hot wave of embarrassment that floods your body at your crudeness and use all your will power to stay still, cunt on full display, as you watch Yuutaâs breath quicken and his hand snake down to tug at his cock again despite the slight sensitivity heâs still feeling.
He doesnât give you much time to linger on your sheepishness before youâre tugged further down the bed by the grip he takes on both of your thighs, his tongue impatiently shoved into your mouth with a loud whimper. You both stay like this a little while longer than you would have liked, his tongue running along the inside of your mouth before he has yours between his lips, switching between sucking on it loudly and licking at the saliva that drips down onto your chin.
God, he was so dirty.
Unable to beg for more, you attempt to wrap your legs up and around his midsection, hoping heâll catch the hint, but instead youâre stopped by a firm placement of his hand on your inner thigh.
ââScuse me, beautiful.â His voice is hoarser than before as he speaks softly against your neck, leaving hasty kisses on any exposed skin while scooting down the bed, landing with his face between your legs.
You could have cried when you felt his tongue poke and prod at your hole, pushing in and moaning loudly before licking long and slow up to your clit. His tongue flicks back and forth as he keeps your lips spread with one hand, deciding to then take his time licking and dragging his tongue between every fold before coming back to suck on your clit.
A strangled groan vibrates deep within your chest as you tug on his hair to bring him impossibly closer to your cunt, as if he needed to devour you whole, while you no longer fought the way your hips were grinding down and writhing beneath Yuutaâs grip. Itâs not until you finally feel a finger push inside, slender and slow, that you begin to incoherently beg and whine for more.
It doesnât take many half-spoken pleas for him to get the idea you need more.
âAh, Yuuta!â You whimper and internally battle between trying to squirm away and press yourself even further into his mouth, overwhelmed by the pleasure of his two fingers inside pumping in and out of you with his mouth nipping and sucking at your clit.
He sits up, kneeling between you to watch the way you take what heâs giving you.
âYeah?â, his voice is uncharacteristically cocky and out of breath, âFeels good, baby?â
He was going to be the death of you.
If it wasnât for the way Yuuta was placed between your thighs, your efforts to clamp them shut would be working. It was all too much, but so fucking good.
âAh- fuck, oh, oh my god - Yuuta please make me come. Wanna come so bad!â You arch your back and attempt to sit up to reach him, needing him closer, but a hand on your chest pushes you back down and slides up until it rests wrapped around your throat.
âMmm, Iâll give it to you baby, just want you stay right there. Wanna see what you look like when I make you finish for the first time.â His hand wasnât holding tight, it was merely keeping you in your spot beneath him, but you wanted him to grab you tighter.
With a shaky hand, you reached to hold onto his wrist like your life depended on it,
âPlease choke me.â
His fingers stopped curling into you for maybe a second before he continued, his mouth parting slightly as a gentle moan fell from his lips.
Did you really just ask him that?
You closed your eyes in bliss when he squeezed gently, instinctually doing your best to grind down onto his hand, but it wasnât enough.
âT-tighter, please.â
It took everything in you to open your eyes and see his reaction, a slight amount of shame building up in your stomach for requesting something that felt so dirty - but all embarrassment fizzled out where it sat when you saw the way he was staring down at you.
Nothing was said as he squeezed you tighter and tighter until you let out a choked moan, your eyes rolling to the back of your head.
âTap me twice if itâs too much.â Youâre not sure when he leaned down to speak lowly to you, but his breath fanning across the side of your neck and face sends chills down your body.
Youâre so lost in the pleasure of it all you can only nod when he takes your hand to show you exactly how he wants you to tap against his wrist if you canât take it anymore.
He sits back up and smiles to himself as he takes you in. You look so.. so.. so pathetic like this. And what, all because heâs got two of his fingers fucking your pussy? Cause heâs the first person to ever make you feel this way?
The latter thought makes his dick twitch and pick up the pace of his fingers until even you can register the crude squelching coming from between your thighs. Thankfully for you, youâre too full of bliss to care - fuck you were so close, and he knows it, too.
Your eyes shoot open when his grip is tightened even more, making it so you can only take in shallow and shaky breaths.
âGonna have to come around my fingers if you want me to loosen up.â It wasnât a question of how much you could take, it was a matter of how far you wanted him to go to make you see stars. And apparently this was it with the way he could feel you clench around him at his words, your thighs starting to thrash and shake.
âFuck, youâre so dirty. My dirty little cunt, huh?â His voice was so misleadingly soft. His register was still high, slightly whiny, but you knew it was all to mock you and your fucked out state. If anything, Yuuta was the one being so dirty, and you were thankful for it.
It was hot, so hot, and you could hear your heart pounding in your head, and you could feel how tight you were clenching around his fingers.
Unable to fight off the feeling and attempt to last a second longer, your body shook as you came hard around Yuutaâs fingers, your nails digging into the forearm of the hand still wrapped around your throat. He kept it there for a brief few moments into your orgasm before letting go to immediately bring his fingers down to your clit, helping you ride out your orgasm for as long as you could handle.
The first full breath you took was loud and followed by an even louder mantra of thank youâs and pleaseâs. It took a soft and slow kiss from Yuuta to quiet your whimpers, and warm, and undeniably semi-sticky hands, rubbing tenderly into your thighs and arms.
You both stayed like that for a while, Yuuta above you with his hands rubbing your muscles carefully, kissing slow and catching your breath while sharing gentle sentiments of love and reassurance. Much to your surprise, you were the first to speak a full sentence as you both relaxed into a more comfortable position.
âYa knowâ, your voice had a slight hoarseness to it now, most likely from your earlier activities, âI donât think I like knowing someone else has gotten to see you like this.â
He brings his head up to rest on his palm with a crooked smile, leaning forward until his lips ghosted over yours as he spoke,
âYeah? You the jealous type baby?â
This time, you did smack him. And hard.
âOw?â Yuuta pouts, pretending to be appalled, and rubs circles into his chest as if you had actually smacked him hard enough to feel like anything more than a friendly pat.
His request for an apology is brushed off and amended with a kiss, from which you receive no protest, as you sink further into the comfort of his embrace and, now dirty but once very clean, sheets.
âHow about we clean up n get some rest, okay baby?â He sounds distant and quiet when he speaks, his heartbeat louder in your ears than his voice with your head pressed into his chest.
Sighing and shaking his head, he leans down to kiss the top of your head with a small smile. Laundry and a shower can wait a few more minutes if it means he gets to have you like this for even a little bit longer.
