i miss having a dogggggggg 😭 i want one so much, man :(

#i had a dream we got a beautiful dog last night...#it sucks cuz it'll be 2+ years before a dog is even viable but let's be real it'll be longer than that before i can afford one on my own :(#cuz after i move out for college my whole family is pretty much splitting up and my parents don't want to get a dog #bcs one of us will have to take it and the other two will miss it (as if we don't already have a cat that that'll happen w....)#+ of our crazy landlady decides to kick us out before that it'll be way harder to find a place to stay w a dog #kiwifae says shit #i just miss it though....#i miss jellybean :(#she really was the best dog ever...#and it really sucks that i didn't properly get to say goodbye bcs they euthanized her unexpectedly #it was the right thing to do she was really sick but it fucking sucked losing her like that #when i went to the pet store last week for fish supplies they were having a literal puppy event.....#guhhhhhhhhhh 😭

Eddie: *overhears some girls gossiping about how Steve and Nancy got in a fight in an alley and the police got involved*

Eddie: *hears someone else say that Nancy Wheeler was taken to the police station*

Eddie: *sees Steve jumpy as hell with bruises on his face*

Eddie: *notices that Steve doesn’t talk to his friends anymore. notices that Steve and Nancy always seem miserable together. notices that only one of them is trying to please the other*

Eddie: *witnesses the halloween bathroom fight*

Eddie: *sees Steve confused, beat up, bruised to hell, and single the literal next time he sees him*

Eddie: *puts the pieces together and draws a conclusion*

Conclusion: *is wrong*

Eddie, accosting Steve at lunch: Hey, did you know that if a guy is getting hit by somebody that it’s abuse? Even if it’s a girl doing it.

Steve, confused: Oh-kay?

Steve, deciding that Eddie is reaching out to him for a reason and draws the same wrong conclusion about Eddie: I mean, yeah. That’s - yeah? That’s true. And messed up. You should tell someone if that’s, uh…going on.

Eddie: Yes, exactly. You should.

What if the plant body hadn't worked out, and the Holy Mausoleum solution had actually taken a long time to sort of "fix" Shen Qingqiu's body and fully call his soul back to it, so that hundreds of years passed and civilization in PIDW/SV world progressed to the point of something like the "modern era"?

Imagine Luo Binghe trying to delicately introduce his shizun to such strange concepts as smart phones and credit cards, while Shen Qingqiu is just desperately trying to figure out how dumb he should play this. Would it be believable for him to get everything on the first try? There have to be some differences between what he knows and this world's versions, right, because of the demons and cultivators and things? Right?? But it's not like any of this actually IS difficult for him to grasp!
