Ok but imagine Loki seeing you in distress, & the first thing he does is goes in to full protective mode.

For one, the poor soul who decided to hurt you will never see it coming. Loki is not a fighter who acts on emotion alone, but also on whit & brain. He uses manipulation tactics, causing the attacker to drop down his guard before the God plunges like a viper towards his prey.

The fight ended before it even began.

Shadow-play is something Loki does not use often, but in dire circumstances. Seeing you sprawled upon the ground with pools of blood surrounding you awakens something deep within him. A monster, that should never be UNLEASHED.

The shadows of his form appear to be of an ancient version of himself, holding onto the victim by his arms against the coolness of the concrete wall. It frightens you to see such power that was hidden beneath a nonchalant facade.

Now, the old Norse Gods see his potential.

' Oh come now, FRIGHTENED so soon ? '

He's toying with him, the attacker's face a pale ghostly expression as he tugs with fever. There's no way out of this, no way for him to hide and scramble to safety. You almost feel sorry for him, however the cut above your lip reminds you of what he deserves.

' And here I thought the little mouse would at least attempt to fight back. Pity. '

Loki edges forward with both intricate knives tossing in his hands skillfully, his gaze narrowing with each slow step he takes. One of his blades runs teasingly along the other's bobbing neck from the adrenaline, not in a satisfying manner but that of pure wicked intent.

' .... - You should have not HURT them ... '

Was there sadness in his voice? Each syllable that escaped his lips drew a drop of blood down the man's skin, tears running down his face as he profusely apologizes for his attack.

But it's too late for that now.

You gaze towards them with pure awe, for such power does not go unchecked so easily. A gasp emits from your chapped lips as you notice a swirl of emerald green surrounding them both, shielding you to witness Loki's true advances. He doesn't want you to see him like this, like a MONSTER.

& all you can hear, are the guttural sounds of true fear.

y\c\n=your character name. your the actress and fans made this. (this is a start for a series and its not always the same story)

y\n was tiered. she just came home from filming y\m\m\n (your marvel movie name) she played y\c\n. she was Loki and Thor s sister and also the goddess of life. she quickly changed to her comfy clothes and opened her phone while eating the food she had cooked before leaving. Tom (Hiddelston) had send her a video ''y\c\n babysitting Thor and Loki for 4 full mins''.

y\n laughed at the title before clicking on the video. the intro came in that included some pictures of marvel movies and the name of the video then it started. the first was for Thor Ragnarok, it was the scene were doctor strange was talking about were Odin was.

"so earth has wizards now?" Thor said

y\n rolled her eyes: "just tell us were our father is!"

then it was time for him to bring back Loki.

strange opened a portal to were Odin was standing and Thor was about to go in "wait!" y\n said before he can go in   "something wrong?" asked Thor

"what do you think?" she turned her look to strange "Loki?"

"oh yes!" he opened a portal in which Loki fell from.

"I HAVE BEEN FALLING, FOR 30 MINS!" Loki shouts angry then pulls out his daggers. he wants to go forward when y\n uses her magic to make the daggers disappear Loki look at her confused."nope! not now." she says before Loki looks at strange with a threatening look.

"ummm.....bye!" strange says before pushing them into the portal.

The next video starts. its for (y\m\m\n:1). y\n remembers Thor s line! it was something humiliating for Loki. exactly then Loki made an innocent look at y\c\n but then she said "no Loki, no you cant stab Thor. again!"

"oh come on! he deserves it!" he says annoyed

"NO!"

he rolls his eyes.

the next videos were also from y\m\m\n. in this scene y\c\n was going to shield to check some files while leaving Thor and Loki alone.

"ok so i will be leaving for 2 hours! in that paper is everything you should not do" you said putting your cote on

"this just says 'no' you sure its correct?" Thor asks confused

"yeah i just wanted to stop you from making any possible mess."

in the next one y\c\n was reading a shield file when Thor and Loki come to her

"y\c\n i was thinking......" Thor starts

"no" she says not looking up

" you did not even listened!" Loki says

"i have seen your planes before, i dont need to hear this one!"

"but...." Thor tries to continue

"no"

"y\c\n....." Loki retries

"NO!"

the next one was also in Ragnarok. it was when Y\C\N and Thor were ,meeting Valkery.

" you know i wanted to be a valkery when i was younger!" Thor starts " but then i got older and found out they were only women s and.....i mean no...not that i have problem with women i love them! sometimes to much i just....."

"Thor.....shut up!" y\c\n says rolling her eyes.

"ok"

the next one was in the first parts of the movie. Thor was yelling at Loki " how could you? i thought you were dead! we mourned for you!" then he turns to y\c\n "can you believe him?"

"yes of course! he never dies!" you rolled your eyes at Thor s confused face

the next one was for 'Loki s1':

"wait so there are other versions of my brothers?" y\c\n asked mobius

"yes there is!" he answered

" oh no.....to of them are bad enough!"

the last  two ones were for for y\m\m\n: 2

in this one Loki hurt himself trying to protect some important object and y\c\n was healing his wounds. when it finished, she looked up and he smiled at her but she slapped him and then hugged him.

the last video was Thor snapping at Loki for something he did and ended lit by looking at y\c\n.

" i agree with Thor, we trusted you! how could you?" she shouted at Loki but before he could answer she turned to Thor and slapped him twice in the face "and....im the only one who can shout or hurt any of you! got it?'' they both nodded confused.

" now we will continue this later. we are in the middle of the road!"

the video ended with a 'thanks for watching'

After thinking about it and talking with my friend about it, I think the only thing I would change for the whole series, is make Sylvie keep Loki as a name.

Like I presume they made it a point because they wanted to include their romance and it "had" to be a different character for that

But no actually, it would have been so great to see the Loki who is our pov character fall for another Loki who isn't ashamed of being a Loki? Who decided to keep the name because fuck everyone else, you can decide who and what you want to be and you know what? That Loki decides to keep being a Loki.

And I think it would have made the ending so much more better?

The pov!Loki listening to that other Loki he has fallen for at the end when the only choice seems to be to kill them or doomed all the timelines. Having that Loki refusing to not kill He Who Remains, because no, everyone deserves a chance, everyone deserves a choice. Doesn't matter if they've also fallen for pov!Loki, they won't compromise who they are and what they've been fighting for anything.

And pov!Loki deciding that you know what? Yes, yes he agrees. Everyone does deserve a choice and a chance. Even himself. If he's managed to fall for a variant of himself, if that variant has fallen for him in return, then he's worthy of love. And looking at all his friends he wants to protect, the family he's built for himself along the way and have chosen to put their trust in him, he wants to prove them right.

And maybe what he attempts will be doomed to fail, but they're doomed no matter what.

And if he succeeds? Then he's saved the people he's let into his heart. And not only that, but he's saved himself. So many versions of himself who also deserve a choice and a chance, who are worth it all.

Because they're all him and he's all of them.

And I really think that a storyline where the ending is ultimately about learning to love yourself so much despite all the bad things you've done, despite what everyone tells you, despite what you've come to believe?

Would have been way more impactful than trying to make it all about Loki being in love with Sylvie who has rejected the fact she was a Loki.

I finished season 2 of Loki today and I don't really know what the fandom thought of it, but personally, I really liked the ending?

There is still one specific element of the tv show that annoyed the shit out me, but as a whole, I thought it was pretty good

At least good enough that I didn't go on a mcu rant like i did the last few times i watched something in the mcu 😅

-  It would take a lot to get to that point since he’s mostly been a loner/outcast;

- There’s definitely a facet of him that craves affection since he’s been shown it so little growing up. He didn’t have much of it, so it’s rare and usually psychologically related to basic human needs like

- Making the most minimal noise when he has to get up earlier than you and you’re still asleep. Having been deprived of it in his tough childhood, he knows how sweet sleep can be and wants you to relish in it even though he can’t;

- Giving food is his love language

- He’ll surprise you by bringing home your favorite sweet from your favorite bakery if he knows you had a bad day

- He’ll be nonchalant about it too (even though you know for a fact he went out of his way to get it because it’s on the other side of town)

- “I was picking up some lab results and figured I’d stop by. It was on the way back”

- No, it was not, but that’s ok because you know he’s as lowkey like his name

- He’s not big on PDA, he’s just not wired that way

- Not because he hates it, more like because he’s insecure of it

- He didn’t have great examples of it growing up. His dad was abusive in the few years he lived with his family before he was sent to Huntington’s Boys Home after his teacher called CPS when he showed up at school with cigarette burns

- He’s naturally alert because of his job. - it’s minimal but present in public (unless he’s jealous of someone)

- He’s very affectionate with you though in private

- He likes the closeness, even if it’s just sitting on the couch, going through his files or paperwork while you do your nails or something

B = Best friend (what would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

- He’s not the most sociable person, so I wouldn’t expect him to show up to every party or get-together

- He meets up for a beer/coffee to keep in touch from time to time

- He’s a good friend, great to talk to and very understanding although his tick will sorta give him away when you’re oversharing

- He won’t admit it, he’ll let you go on because he knows you need it and he’s okay with that because you’re not just anyone

- He doesn’t have many friends after all

- He’s just not the best at giving advices so he feels uncomfortable knowing that he’s not much help

- You probably go way back because making new friends gets harder as you get older and he’s not very social

- You met at a pizza place where you worked at together back in high school

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? how would they cuddle)

- He fucking loves them

- Will not admit it because he’s lived without them for a long time, but that’s also why he fucking loves them

- He hates how vulnerable they make him feel but enjoys that he can finally feel that

- He never had many chances to let himself be vulnerable

- He’s the protector and not usually the protected so it feels nice to let his guard down but it does scare him a bit

- Being the big spoon indulges his natural masculine instinct, but if you hold him (either being the big spoon for him or letting him rest his head on your chest with your arms around you) he will cry inside

- That will most likely happen when he’s had long days working on troubling cases

- They take a mental toll on him, especially child-related cases

- Also, I personally believe he’s got a couple mommy issues

- She left his dad when he was young

- As an adult, he can understand why she left but there’s definitely a longing for warmth (emotionally) that he forced himself to bury deep down

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

Cleanliness

- His cleaning is on point

- He doesn’t have OCD, but he’s a bit of a neat freak

- He’s not anal about where the toothpaste is left, just as long as its’ cap is on if that makes sense?

- He doesn’t like leaving things to do later unless he absolute has to (thank you, traumatic childhood)

- He likes to do the dishes right after dinner

- His job doesn’t allow him a lot of time to clean his home, so he hires someone to clean like once every two weeks

- It’s a lot easier but he maintains the cleanliness quite well

- He’s really good at ironing in emergencies too

- He irons his uniforms for work but he hates it (and he hates wearing them so he’ll only wear them if he really has to)

- He barely has time and mental sanity to sleep, let alone iron clothes

- If he has to wear them for work, it’s hello dry-cleaning

- The neat freakiness doubles at work

- He does not like others rearranging his stuff, using his mug

-He won’t be explosive if someone borrows a pen without asking, but don’t touch the man’s files. this is critical. He just likes to know where his shit is

- his time in the boy's home definitely disciplined him to always have his bed made, keep his things neat and minimal

- he probably has like one nice cologne, one deodorant and his usual hair gel on the sink of his bathroom

-  he doesn’t have much and he’s okay with that

- having too many options seemed a little extra to him, but as you gift him with bath sets and shaving kits, he starts to warm up to the “ treat yo self” idea a lil bit (he’s learning and it’s a process. he’s getting there ok)

Cooking

- He’s not the best at cooking

-He barely had food in his fridge when you’d met and he lived on take out

- He didn’t really care much about taste or nutrition, only that it made his stomach stop growling and eliminated the headache creeping in because that was the only time he actually remembered to eat

- Has the weirdest combinations of sandwiches like mayo with peanut butter and cheddar

- After he met you, he genuinely started giving it more effort

- Don’t expect anything fancy

- His dishes are comfort and casual, but overall tasty

- Pasta dishes are his best because they’re quick and easy to make

- He secretly wants to learn how to make homemade pasta but he gets overwhelmed just reading the recipes and happily settles for storebought

- He did try once to impress you on valentine’s day

-It was very romantic, you had wine and cooked together but the pasta was terrible so you happily resorted to pizza.

Does he want to settle down?

- uhm the idea scared him to death

- It reminds him of his own upbringing and he despised his dad

- He doesn’t want to become him but he also wants a chance to have a real family

- It’s an internal conflict

- If he does have a child, it’s certainly not planned

- He’s always envied other kids who had that traditional white Christmas and thanksgiving family dinners, so he does get excited about getting to have that

- He’s been so used to being on his own, it’s been his comfort zone and he didn’t mind it until the baby surprised everyone

- Scared shitless and contemplates disappearing, but he doesn’t wanna be a deadbeat like his dad

- Warms up to the idea that he has the opportunity to be different and everything his dad wasn’t

- Gets secretly excited about creating traditions

- He doesn’t hate the holidays as much as before and gets into the spirit a little

- Buys a garland for his door near Christmas, a couple fake pumpkins on Halloween for the porch

- The mini Christmas tree you put up and decorated together on your first Christmas together is a huge step up already

- After meeting you, he’s slowly warming up to the idea of settling down because he finally feels safe

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

- His job means everything to him

- Being able to protect means being able to provide what he didn’t have as a child, so it’s very personal

- He hasn’t had many serious relationships; most were just flings with no strings attached to make things easy

- The first time you broke up was after a fight on his absence and priorities

- He can be very impatient when frustrated

- He brought it up first and very heatedly suggested to just end things to make easier on both of you

- But he felt your absence more than he expected to and regretted his words every time he’d come home and not find you there

- It made him realize that he was in deep shit and loved you more than he thought, so he came running back to you with flowers and the shyest but the sincerest apology

- He loved his mom more than anything

- He saw her suffer in his father’s hands and he never wants to make his partner fear him

- The first time you kissed, he asked for your permission. The first time he took your top off, he asked for permission.

- After you became more familiar, he didn’t ask for it verbally

- It would be in the form of him gently tugging on your top or pants or staring at your lips

- If it’s a physical situation, like you’re at a gas station and someone angrily or drunkenly starts squaring up at you, he stays calm but immediately goes into cop mode to handle the situation and puts himself in the middle to shield you

- His instinct is to be a first responder, so he’ll handle it accordingly with procedure

- Since he’s usually doing the protecting, there aren’t many opportunities for him to be protected

- What he does admire though is how you protectively reach out over him if you’re driving and have to slam on the brakes unexpectedly to hold him back

- Or when you speak up for him like that one time his dish came with a hair in it at a restaurant

- He’d eaten worse as a kid, so he would’ve just taken it out and eaten the food

- But you didn’t let him and said it was unacceptable and politely asked the waiter for another

- He loves that you don’t let people take advantage of him

- He also loves it when girls notice his badge and flirt with him

- Like him, you know that he’s attractive and you trust him

- Previous to your relationship, he didn’t try at all

- But now, he feels guilty that he can’t be home all the time and can’t make it to special events

- So he does his best to make for it

- If he couldn’t celebrate Valentine’s day with you, he’ll take you out to a nice place when he’s free

- He never forgets your anniversaries, but his job is demanding and you gotta understand that to be with him

- He’ll get you gifts and have flowers sent to make you know that he didn’t forget

- Everyone’s got theirs and David is no different

- His number one bad habit undereating or just not taking care of himself when stressed. That involves not getting enough food and rest

- It just makes him even more stressed and naturally more prone to anger, which means his patience wears thin and it sometimes leads to arguments

- He brings his work home and will get very upset if you touch or go through his files because he doesn’t want you to see the shit he has to see

- Procrastination because it usually will be left up to you to see to whether it’s mundane house chores or errands  (he tries so hard to hold up his end though)

- Listening to respond because his mind is on his case and sometimes, he doesn’t realize it. It’s automatic and can be frustrating when you realize he’s not listening, but he does his best to control it and immediately snap out of it.

- Doesn’t happen too often, just when he’s got a lot on his mind

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

- He thought he was kinda vain with his tattoos and hair style

- Everyone at the station calls him Pretty boy and he is lowkey proud of it

- Keeps his hair trimmed and goes to the barber at least three times a month

- He knows he’s a hairy fellow and likes to look well-kept although he kinda wants to grow out his beard

- is worried the captain will tell him to shave it

- As for clothes, he’s pretty average and likes to lounge in his white tanks and sweatpants

Ok I have a question. When Loki finds everyone, they are all on branched timelines, not the Sacred Timeline. So doesn't that mean the lives on these branches could be slightly different or totally different than their original lives on the Sacred Timeline? Sylvie says they're back in their "real lives", but is that even true? 🤔 Also, I know people are theorizing that Don's wife was dusted during the snap, but technically in this branched timeline, the snap might not have happened.

the reader was just walking around and accidentally bumped into the gods and the reader was about to tell them to watch where they were going but didn't get to say it because Brunhilde told her it was her turn and the gods was in shocked and to stunned to speak but then Zeus/Odin told the gods it was their turn as well and soon they realises they were fighting with the reader and soon Hades / Loki was watching them fight and soon when Poseidon / Thor cut the readers head gyutaro came out of her back and put her head back into place and the reader and gyutaro fight together.

but soon ended up into a tie and soon both gods went to go find the reader but saw the reader asleep on her brother lap underneath a sakura tree while gyutaro sings a lullaby and they watched the two siblings in awe but the gyutaro sensed someones was watching them and gyutaro woke the reader up and gyutaro told her someone was nearby and they looked around but noting was there but then muzan came and both of them bowed down and muzan touched the readers face and she blushed and the gods was jealous of muzan.

soon when muzan left with kokushibo they both met the jealous gods and soon started fighting and the gods who was in the fight they had won and muzan and kokushibo was wounded really badly and reader and gyutaro came and saw this and protected muzan and kokushibo but then the gods left leaving the 4 demons confused and angry.

and the reader started to feel uncomfortable and asked her brother to stay with her more often and soon the two gods started to show up wherever they went and soon the two gods asked the reader to marry them but then the reader said she got a lover that is worthy of her love which is Qin Shi Huang and the two gods started to feel really angry and started to fight Qin

and Qin was wounded and had to be hospitalised and in a coma and the two gods asked the reader again.

-You were a stunning woman, beautiful and confident, so you were able to handle any man that would come your way, some liked your confidence, liking their women dominate, while others would try to intimidate you into being submissive.

-You were hanging out the stadium, a bit bored, as you were one of the champions for humanity, as you were once a human yourself, and Muzan gave you his blessings to fight, as he wanted to see you fight against the gods.

-You rounded a corner and slammed into a pair of gods (Poseidon/Hades or Thor/Loki), nearly falling backwards and instantly you glared, going to tell them off before Brunnhilde, who was with them, spoke, “There you are Y/N. It’s your turn next, against (Poseidon/Thor) here.”

-The god in question was shocked that his opponent was the stunning maiden before him and you instantly grinned sadistically, “Good, I hope you’ll give me a challenge!”

-Your arrogance and confidence stunned the two gods, annoying them slightly before (Hades/Loki) couldn’t help but grin, finding you an amusing woman.

-Your fighting style was very unique, you were very agile and used your sash to hack and slash at him, laughing as you were having fun, but you were a little over-confident.

-The crowds were screaming out in horror as you were sitting on your knees, your head in your lap, after (Thor/Poseidon) cut your head from your shoulders, but unlike most demons, you weren’t vanishing.

-You were crying, making your opponent stare lightly, he felt bad making you cry, feeling like a bully, before you screamed out, “Big brother!!”

-Instantly, your back began to hunch grotesquely, your head fell from your lap as you fell forward as your brother emerged.

-(Poseidon/Thor) went to attack and was stunned when Gyutaro instantly charged, slashing him across the chest while holding you in his arms, protecting you.

-Gyutaro kneeled down in front of you, helping your head reattach as you sniffled softly, hiccupping as he doted on you, “Don’t cry- big brother is here.”

-Gyutaro was much stronger than you, and since you were together, like a Volundr, he was allowed to fight with you.

-Being double teamed was much more of a challenge, Gyutaro was both strong and fast, while you were fast, it definitely turned into a good fight, one of the best ones of the tournament.

-In the end, combined with his strongest attack and you and your brother’s combined attack, it caused a massive shockwave, that knocked all three of you out, ending the match in the first draw of the tournament.

-The two brothers were quick to seek you out, taken by your determination, power, and looks, you were a deadly but desirable combination, one they wanted for their own.

-In their search for you, they heard someone singing, not loudly, more like a lullaby, and they followed the voice, hearing Gyutaro, and found the two of you.

-Gyutaro was leaning against the tree, relaxing while petting your hair as you were sleeping quietly, your head on his lap, smiling softly as you knew you were safe with your big brother.

-Gyutaro felt the eyes and his hand instantly stilled before giving you a small shake, waking you up, “Someone is watching us.”

-You sat up, on the defense and the gods flinched, not wanting a fight, before they froze, seeing two men approach you both, Muzan and Kokushibo, both bowing your heads in greeting in respect.

-Muzan patted your head, making you beam, a faint blush on your cheeks which angered (Poseidon/Hades or Thor/Loki), seeing another man touching you.

-They weren’t bothered by the fact they knew nothing about you, only that they wanted you, and they were going to have you. One way or another.

-When Kokushibo and Muzan left you two, they started heading out, only to run into the brothers nearby, seeing the gods were furious.

-Gyutaro heard the shouting before you did, his hearing better than yours and took off running and you called out after him, running after your brother.

-You gasped in shock, seeing Muzan and Kokushibo being violently attacked by (Poseidon/Thor) and his brother (Hades/Loki).

-You shouted at them to stop as your brother ran into the fray, jumping in front of the gods, blocking their blows and you ran forward, putting yourself in front of the two strongest demons in Valhalla, your sash belts swaying, preparing for an attack.

-Just as quickly as the attack started, the attack ended, the gods lowering their weapons and turned, leaving the four of you confused and battered.

-You helped Muzan while your brother carried Kokushibo, taking them to the infirmary, because even though they were demons, their wounds weren’t healing very fast, due to being attacked by weapons of the gods.

-Gyutaro could see the way the gods were looking at you, and you would have too, had you not been so angry and worried, and he confided in you, telling you what he had seen.

-You grew scared, holding onto your brother’s hand, not wanting to be apart from him, as you knew he would keep you safe, since the gods were stronger than you, but not your brother; however, seeing what they did to the two strongest, made you worried, if terrified you.

-Muzan patted your head gently, seeing you were upset, comforting you, as he too was mad that these gods attacked them so cowardly and seemed to be after you for some reason, before he spoke, “Go calm down, Y/N. Go see that human of yours.”

-Your eyes lit up and smiled brightly, your boyfriend, the only man that you actually liked, and he liked you for you, Qin Shi Huang, and both Gyutaro and Muzan approved over him, and were okay with you dating the human.

-(Poseidon/Hades or Thor/Loki) were both stunned to see you shortly after leaving the infirmary, looking around like you were looking for someone.

-They approached you and you glared lightly, not trusting them as they had attacked Muzan and Kokushibo, “What do you want?”

-They didn’t hear the bite in your voice, or if they did, they chose to ignore it and your mouth dropped open and eyes went wide as they spoke in unison, “‘Y/N will you marry us?’”

-You instantly glared at them but did your best to keep your temper in check, “No, I’m already with someone that I love.” Their love-struck looks instantly melted into anger, trying to demand you to tell them who, which you refused, turning and heading away quick, making a mental note to tell your brother.

-When the two brothers saw you about a half hour later, as they had been stunned when you walked away, they went to approach to ask you to marry them again, when you called out happily, “Zheng~~” and their blood boiled, seeing you leaping into the open arms of a human of all things, pure joy on your face as your lover caught you in his own hug, spinning you around before asking if you were okay from your fight.

-You puffed up your chest a bit, a grin on your face, “Of course I am, my big brother and I can handle anything!” he laughed warmly, pecking your cheek which made you give a small happy squeak.

-Instantly the gods charged, attacking Qin and you screamed for them to stop, attacking them yourself to defend your lover, as while he was strong, he was a human against two gods and had no weapon.

-Your brother, Kokushibo, and Muzan heard your screams and ran to your aid, finding you holding the heavily injured body of your lover, while Brunnhilde was trying to get the two gods back away from you.

-Gyutaro didn’t hesitate and charged in with a war cry, seeing you upset and the other two demons were quick to join.

-Brunnhilde ended up having to call in Zeus and Odin, as well as the other Valkyries to get the two groups apart while you had taken your lover to the infirmary with Goll.

-Brunnhilde, Zeus, and Odin came to the infirmary, where Zheng now was, bandaged, but in a coma, with you sitting next to him, holding his hand while Goll was trying to get you to drink some water.

-You gave your statement of what happened, both times, with them attacking Muzan, their proposal, and then nearly killing your lover, had your brother and leader not shown up, and they confirmed it with other witnesses who had seen the fight, the gods struck first.

-You learned all 5 of them were thrown into holding cells, the two gods in one and the three demons in the other, pending the investigation.

-The day Zheng opened his eyes, you were overjoyed, wanting to leap into his arms, but you didn’t want to hurt him, keeping his hand in your own instead, smiling down at him, “Waking up to an angel is the best way to do so.”

-Your face turned bright red at his flirtation, as he was the only person, except for Muzan when you were younger, to make you blush, but it made you happy, seeing your lover still had his sense of humor.

-Even though they couldn’t approach you without repercussions, you could never shake the feeling of eyes watching you, almost all day, following you, but you could never find who it was.

-You knew, deep down, who it was, but since you couldn’t find them, you didn’t say anything.

-No matter who you were with, Zheng, your brother, the other Upper Ranks, even by yourself, you could always feel eyes piercing into you, stalking you, hunting you.

Elskhuga { Loki x gn! angst ficlet }

Summary: After thrusted into the storm of battle, Loki and his gang of trustees reach the outskirts of Svartalfheim in order to recuperate and tend to the wounded. His lover included, the Prince must find the strength to not fall into despair.

Pairing: Loki x gn!character ( I wrote this in third person, and kept the gn love interest vague so you can either insert your own oc or read like a reader insert. )

Warnings: Angst, all the feels, blood, wounds, near death experience, pre-established relationship. This might be a tad ooc but listen, I need protective Loki ok?

The soot of Svartalfheim's lands and blood of their enemies stained the company's clothing, a mere reminder of what had previously transpired not too long ago. For days the warriors of Asgard fought mindlessly against the Dark Elves on their domain. The Aesir feared their lust for darkness and disruption to the natural order would become reality. But under Heimdall's watchful eye and by command of Odin, the two princelings and their companions lead Asgard's small army as a tactic of intimidation.

A mere foolish encounter, which they soon later discovered.

Faint breaths and the rustlings of leather echoed in the small cave's mouth, the darkness that dwelled there snuffed out by the fire's red glow. Sif and the Warrior's Three (Fandral, Volstagg and Hogun) huddled around its warmth, occasionally rubbing their hands together as their breaths fogged all around them. Thor, son of Odin, nestled by one of their wounded companions tucked in loose furs. There was a heaviness within the air as he spoke softly towards his left.

"I fear their wounds have worsened overnight, brother."

Loki, son of Laufeyson clenched his jaw from his confession. The wounded who laid before him was a keeper of his heart. Now heavily breathing with a sheen of sweat, but once held such beauty and youth in their face. He shouldn't have brought them here, on this perilous mission but they had insisted on not leaving Loki's side.

The two of them had known each other since childhood, often accompanying one another while Thor rough housed with Sif and the Warriors. There was a long history of adoration, longing, and a feeling of love within the both of them that could never be washed away by the tide of time.

And to have them risk their life in a meaningless show of power ignited a flame within the trickster's chest that he wanted to unleash.

"There must be something...." Venom leaked from his pale lips, his slender hands reaching outward to grasp upon his lover's arms in a tight embrace for comfort. "We cannot just let them die under our command."

The raise in Loki's voice made the warrior's look upward from the fire's glow, hesitance on their faces before he continued.

"Volstagg knew fully well that they were within enemy range! If I had just not turned my back for one second this barbaric group of imbeciles would have noticed the enemy's arrow flying in their direction!"

His voice choked on the last syllable in his rant, tears threatening to fall down his hollow cheeks.

"Now now, do not blame others for your incompetence of witnessing a mere arrow, silvertongue. The fault is not our own", raised Fandral's voice. He knew he had struck a nerve, but they were all on edge seeing their companion fade away on the floor below.

"Enough...", Thor's voice echoed softly against the cave's walls, beginning to feel a coil of tension about ready to explode.

"Is that what you would call it? A mere arrow? Will you repeat your foolish words while standing at their pyre? Or shall you save it before I behead your ill-favored head from your mere shoulders?"

"ENOUGH!" Thunder crackled from outside their retreat, their silence loud as they gathered themselves. Loki knelt beside the wounded companion with a defeated sigh, the fire's crackling the only noise heard until a soft voice spoke.

"We are all weary and worried for our friend. Please, let us not continue the onslaught within our own company." Sif released a short huff with a bent of her head, her eyes glistening with thought. "We must keep trying, perhaps the poison had subsided from Loki's magic. If we keep-"

"There is nothing left to do, lady warrior." Agitation sounded from the trickster's voice, a trembling huff escaping him before bringing his attention back towards his lover's pale features. He lifted a shaking hand to ghost along their soft cheek, pausing a finger on their parted lip. "We will be lucky if they survive the night."

Memories of earlier that day flashed in his mind, the sounds of metal in the air as they treaded along Svartalfheim's wasteland. A small band of Asgard's soldiers accompanied them to a deserted inland of open land. A place where they would negotiate and come to terms with some intimidation tactics. Loki's silver tongue, however, would not land its mark.

The Elves thrusted themselves upon the group without any warning, swords clashing against swords with a might of defiance. Many would fall, the stench of blood filling the air as Thor's mighty swings clashed against skull and bone. Sif's sword and shield danced with the enemies weapons, Volstagg's heavy axe not falling too far behind. Fandral and Hogun would soon find their swords claiming many lives with a stain of gore.

Loki would occasionally protect his partner with a finesse of his trickster motions, throwing dagger upon dagger to land their marks. He turned his back against his partner's own, giving trust to the Warrior's as he continued to use Aesir magic to confuse his opponent.

But trust, comes with a cost.

He felt a sudden jolt of the other's body against his back and a sharp cry, his heart clenching in fear as he quickly turned around. They were all unaware of the silent archer on their left, hidden in the shadows behind decaying rock. The arrow had pierced his lover's chest, merely missing their heart as they fell to the ground with a pained groan. The tip of the arrow had been poisoned, their body soon paralyzed from its instant effectiveness.

Loki screamed in pure rage, conjuring himself to appear in front of the attacker with a flicker of emerald cloud. Before the Elf could react, the trickster plunged a dagger within his throat with a vengeful scream, driving that blade deeper and deeper with each forceful thrust of pure hate. He kept the attack, the body before him long gone as it slumped to the dirt below but he continued on. Again, again, his breath releasing in short spurts with tears in his eyes. All sense of control left him as red coated his fingers and arms, specks of it's essence spitting on his angered face.

"Loki!!! Loki enough!!!" Thor quickly ran to his brother's aid, the battle ceased around them as he grasped the other's arm to cease his assault. "Enough, please...enough.."

A pained sob escaped past Loki's lips as he slowed his movements, the dagger continuing to plunge into the body's frame with grotesque noises. It was Thor's hand upon him that brought him back to reality, his eyes widening in realization before dashing towards his partner's side.

They were alive, but barely hanging on the edge. The poison already beginning to pump through their veins. A small smile spread on their lips, hands lifting to graze along the princeling's blood soaked cheek.

"Loki -...." It was all they could muster, the only thing he heard before they fell into darkness.

The shade of green enveloped the cave as Loki continued to release his magic within his lover's chest, the group around him fallen asleep with the gentle sound of enchantment. He couldn't give up, his body begging for slumber but his mind determined to soothe the poison within them. Thor too was still awake, calling to Heimdall to open the Bifrost but to no avail. After many attempts, Odinson returned to their retreat and placed a heavy hand upon his aching shoulder.

"I'm sorry, dear brother. My words do not reach him....I-"

Loki furrowed his brows in concentration, silencing him with a hush of his voice. "I will make sure he hears an earful from me later, but for now, leave me..."

Thor couldn't help but form a sad smile on his face, his fingers gripping a bit before moving away.

He couldn't give up....couldn't stop...

The soft glow of morning's sun hidden behind dark clouds illuminated against stone walls, a gentle shade of green still forming on the trickster's hands against his partner's chest. He had fallen asleep upright, his sorcery never ceasing their purpose even when the mind was resting. The others were still in slumber around a dying fire, the gentle crackling of embers filling his ears.

There was a soft touch upon his hand, fingers brushing along his knuckles in a ghostly manner. His body jolted slightly from the touch, eyes fluttering open before gazing upon a reassuring smile.

They will be ok, they will be ok...

It’s the ultimate question of the MCU fandom: Is Loki a Dom? A switch? Is Loki kinky at all or just a sweet little vanilla bean looking for love and affection?

For various personal reasons (🤫😈), I HC that Loki is a hard-core sub:

Loki’s pretense at dominance is a deep, well-practiced mask.

Everything Loki says at Stuttgart, he is saying to himself. He is afraid of his own freedom.

Growing up with expectations of hypermasculinity, Loki was ashamed of his submissive kinks and worked incredibly hard to mask them.

He’s never really happy, since he’s hiding this big part of himself

(Ironically - don’t tell me Frigga never tied Odin to the bed and whipped him with a leather belt)

Loki doesn’t want power – he thinks he is supposed to want it. Being dominant and aggressive and power-hungry is part of his hypermasculine illusion.

Loki thinks that being Dommy is the only way he’ll be loved

Previous partners have expected it of him

And ultimately been disappointed when he can’t maintain this mask

Or have betrayed his trust when he confesses his true desires

He’s so sure that he’s supposed to be the dominant one that he’s abandoned any hope of ever having those subby needs fulfilled. He is so accustomed to it and practiced at masking that he barely even notices that he’s doing it.

But he still touches himself to thoughts of dominant women and men overpowering him, punishing him, using him, ruling him.

He tells himself that it’s hot because it’s so transgressive

And maybe that’s part of it

But also, he really wants to be dominated by someone

After he comes like this, he’s overwhelmed by feelings of guilt and shame

Because no-one’s ever told him it’s OK.

But don’t make the mistake of thinking that he’s inferior. Sub!Loki is not shy, or quiet. He is cocky, arrogant, confident, stylish, full of swagger.

❥ even though you caught his eye akechi is still a complicated person so these first few dates are just him analyzing you. He's a detective and he needs to make sure your honest true self when your with him because he can't bare to see himself in you. once he either figures out your intentions are pure or you reassure him he'll feel better about himself but he doesn't let his mask slip not just yet.

❥ once he adjusts a bit to quite literally one of the first healthy relationships in his life he's very sweet. he adores quality time with you so honestly you can drag him just about wherever and he'll be happy. again sadly some of this is limited because of his job but he always makes sure to text you goodmorning so you'll see it as you maybe make your way to school or as you just wake up.

❥ princely persona or not he's still a little shit so he likes teasing you. there's a difference between his prince act and real selfs teasing and that is he's alot nicer before you truly know him fully. He normally teases you when he's kissing you, gently brushing his lips on yours or your cheek leaving you flustered. deep inside his heart he finds it cute that you can get flustered just by him... he's just a teensy bit possessive shhh❥ he tries his hardest to keep you away from any metaverse shenanigans and the phantom thieves. he loves you, you're his angel, and if you found out what he did he'd never forgive himself even if you did. though if you know about all of this or god forbid be apart of thieves then his mask will probably slip alot sooner.

❥ for the sake of convenience let's say you did witness everything that went down in shidos palace. he hates how he'll never be the perfect prince for you however his loyalty towards you increases tenfold. if you happen to fight by his side in the metaverse he'll always protect you no matter what. this applies to his personas too, loki and Robin hood are quick to slice any shadows that harms you.

❥ okay now onto some lighter stuff and not just akechi vomit ^_^ he's veryyyy touch starved and he doesn't want to admit to it. anytime you hold his hand or he even just hugs you he gets complete goosebumps. at first he honestly hates it, it makes him feel vulnerable which is something that he never wants to be. just reassure him that it's ok to let down his walls around you and that you love him!

❥ he can't really handle a full cuddle session for that long without feeling uncomfortable however he still loves them. if you too sleep over feel free to cling onto him... late at night he might hold you a bit before gently pushing you off and just holding you hand as you both sleep. on the train he doesn't mind if you lay your head on his shoulder or if you're both standing gripping onto his arm to avoid the passengers.

❥ now that he's more open towards you his teasing definitely gets a bit more mean. of course he doesn't mean any of it it's just the real sweet stuff makes him again feel vulnerable. he'll call you a idiot whenever you lose a game or playfully flick your forehead (I live for teasing I'm giggling kicking my feet rn). in the metaverse if you both are fighting together he might make a remark about you being slow or that you're practically "begging" for him to save you like a princess

❥ Akechi at heart is a very sweet boy, yes he is a murder and kinda insane but I swear guys haha...

Loki falls back onto the pillows, the thundering of his heart only just beginning to slow down. Mobius pants above him, eyes following his face, an odd emotion swimming behind them. Loki pulls him close, arching up to him for a quick, heated kiss.

“Mobius?” Loki gulps in a breath of air, still breathing hard. “What’s wrong?”

Mobius takes a shuddering breath and runs his hands through the raven hair splayed out on their pillows.

“After today I-” Mobius stops himself, his other hand starts rubbing reassuringly at Loki’s waist, nearly pulling at his skin there, possessive. Loki stays quiet and waits for him to go on. They both know what nearly happened today, they don’t need to say it.

“I know I'm not a god and I don't have magic powers or super strength but I-“ Mobius stops himself again, looking down at Loki’s chest, his brows knit together. 

Loki waits, but Mobius only shakes his head slightly. 

“It’s ok,” Loki says. “I don’t care about that. You know I don’t.” 

Mobius won’t meet Loki’s eye, still staring at Loki’s skin. Loki can feel him start to shift away, withdrawing from where they are pressed together under the sheets, his warm thigh shifting nervously. 

Loki twists his head up on the pillow, trying to get a better look at Mobius’s face. He reaches out to touch the side of his jaw, long fingers caressing his neck. 

“Mobius please.”

Mobius looks up finally, eyes full of so much emotion that Loki’s breath catches in his throat. 

“I want to protect you. I want to be able to protect you too.” Loki’s fingers tighten, nails creating indents in Mobius’s skin. His heart starts pounding again, but for an entirely different reason this time.

“Mobius you do. You do protect me. In ways you don’t even know.”

Mobius’s eyes shine, tears gathering in the corners.

“But I can’t-” Loki cuts him off with a kiss. 

When he pulls away he makes sure Mobius is listening, tugging at the short hairs at the base of his skull.

“You protect me. Every day. Just knowing you are there, at my side. Knowing I get to come home to you. Knowing that no matter what happens, big or small, that I can get through it because I have you. The strength I get from you is immeasurable and greater than any magic or power.”

“Loki-” A tear slips out of Mobius’s eye and Loki pulls him in for another kiss, wrapping his arms tightly around him. He tries to pour all of his love and devotion into the kiss. Their bodies tangle together again and Loki swallows all of Mobius’s gasps, drinking each one in. He pulls back after a little while, their foreheads pressed together.

“Ok? Do you believe me?”

Mobius laughs weakly. “I believe you.” 

Mobius kisses him this time and they fall back into each other.

He’s my favorite character ever and he’s all that I think about but he’s a really simple character in concept. King of Alfheim, prince of Vanaheim, local deity of love, kingship and seasons etc. More below

He’s a sort of diva kind of character, switches moods on a whim and seemingly blurts the most outlandish bullshit you’ve ever heard. He’s an introvert at heart unlike his sister and mostly just hangs around Skirnir, Gerðr or Tyr if he visits. But he’s a nicer character than he appears, he’s generous and loves giving gifts even if it’s not needed and he’s VERY loving, like a dog, he just might be a sassy asshole that’ll point out if someone’s annoying him to his face and also he appears to be very egotistical at times. He’s not really considered a good king by the standards of Njordr and Skadi but he’s very charismatic and that’s really why he’s so revered and loved. He treats the elves like his own kids and is busy 24/7 like a housewife.

The most interesting part about his character is probably his relationships. He’s not monogamous and just sort of sees love as a feeling worth giving to anyone regardless of who they are. There are also people he really really likes being affectionate and loving(romantically/platonically) to in particular: Skirnir, Gerðr and Tyr. Skirnir is his childhood bestfriend and very lovingly calls him Sunshine but understands that he can’t really do that in public but he likes doting on Skirnir, Gerðr is his pretty wife that he likes staring at and loves to spoil her, even if Gerðr thinks it’s too much but he truly does respect her privacy. Tyr is there because I like the two as a pairing ok but they’re both very sweet to each other and Freyr likes preening his feathers and calling him ‘Birdie’.

He has a crippling anxiety disorder, SAD and ADHD, he’s a fucking manic freak that desires nothing but love and respect back. He’s like most of the more happier characters though and when he’s not the focus of the story, he’ll be a sassy little happy support that usually just gives people hard truths. He is alot smarter and aware than he lets on and the facade of a happy leader is more of an accidental feature rather than on purpose. He willingly dies to protect his friends and family because he’s aware that he can’t just stop fate and while he’s upset that he won’t live for long, he still wants to hang out and be happy rather than be treated as if he’s already dead.

The Redbridge Hunts, Chapter 31

Claire spent a big part of the evening on the phone to Louise. She explained about Ray being killed, though didn’t go into too much detail over the phone, she wanted to see her personally to tell her about the vampires.

‘What a day.’ Claire sighed as she crawled into Loki’s bed with him.

‘Indeed.’ Loki chuckled as he put his arm out for her to snuggle in against him. ‘How did she take it?’

‘Pretty well. She asked multiple times if I was sure it was really him, she’s bound to be nervous about it. I think the thought that she’s free now is going to take some time to sink in.’

‘It’s bound to be a bit of a shock for her. Are you going to go visit?’ Loki asked as he trailed his fingers up and down her arm.

‘Yeah, I was thinking of heading over there tomorrow for the day. I really want to introduce you both, but I think the first visit should be just me.’ Claire said sadly.

‘Didn’t even cross my mind to intrude, love. You need to be there for your sister, make sure she’s ok. There’s plenty of time for us to meet.’ Loki smiled.

‘I’m so excited to see her. I can’t believe it’s been so long. He really did have a hold over the whole family, really.’

‘Have you told your parents?’ Loki asked.

‘No, not yet. I’ll see what Louise says tomorrow about telling them. She might want to go and visit them, since it’s been so long.’ Claire tilted her head to look at Loki. ‘I’m going to tell her about you being a vampire, if that’s ok? So she knows the truth about how he died.’

Loki raised an eyebrow and trailed his fingers through her hair. ‘It’s ok with me. How do you think she will she take it, though?’

‘Well… put it this way. If you think I took the news pretty well, wait till you meet her. She’s totally obsessed with vampires. When we were younger, we uh, used to talk about how vampires would fall in love with us. That we’d run off together with our vampire lovers.’ Claire blushed and hid her face against Loki’s neck.

‘Oh really? I think I need to hear more about these chats you two had?’ Loki grinned and slid his hand under Claire’s chin to lift her head back up.

‘No, trust me, you really don’t.’ Claire giggled and tried hiding again. Though Loki rolled over the top of her and they had a little wrestle till he captured her hands together and pinned them above her head in one hand.

‘Trust me, I really do want to hear more.’ Loki growled. ‘I’ll tickle you till you tell me.’ He warned, then proved his point as he started to tickle her sides.

She burst out laughing and squirmed around under him for a few seconds before caving in. ‘Ok, ok! I’ll tell!’

‘That was fast… knowing your weakness is a wonderful piece of knowledge.’ Loki laughed wickedly. ‘Come on, spill.’ He stopped tickling her, but kept her hands restrained and kept his fingers against her side, under her pajama top.

‘There’s not much more to spill, really…’ Claire said with another laugh, feeling rather vulnerable with his fingers still at her side, ready to attack again at a moment’s notice. ‘We were young and would just talk about if we had vampire boyfriends. That they’d protect us and we’d provide blood, just silly little conversations and scenarios.’

‘And now, you’re living your childhood fantasy.’ Loki grinned widely and dipped his head down to kiss her. He tickled her side again for a few seconds, just for the sake of it, making her giggle against his lips.

Their kiss quickly grew heated, Loki’s free hand slowly began wandering down her body.

‘Speaking of providing blood…’ Claire trailed off when Loki removed his lips from hers. ‘Are you… hungry?’ She asked with a flutter of her eyelashes.

Loki slid a hand to the side of her neck and grinned. ‘I’m always hungry, darling… but with you driving tomorrow, it wouldn’t be a wise idea to feed from you tonight.’ He said regretfully.

‘Aww.’ Claire pouted.

Loki chuckled and kissed her pouty lips a few times, making her giggle. ‘It should be me that’s pouting about not getting to feed from you!’

Claire continued giggling. ‘True… I guess.’

‘Though there are other ways I can eat you.’ He growled at her before making his way down her body.

The following day, Claire left mid-morning to go visit her sister. She was going to hire a car or take the bus, but Loki let her borrow his car, since she didn’t have her own one but did have a license. She felt honoured that he trusted her enough with it.

Loki just lounged around his home for the day, chilling with Bat and catching up on some marking he needed to do. He’d just sat down to eat dinner in the early evening when Claire messaged him.

C: Hey. Sis wants to have a few drinks tonight, so I’m going to stay over and head back tomorrow. She’s very emotional, as expected. Relieved, happy, confused, angry. Overall, glad he’s gone and wants to have a little ‘celebration’. Xxx

L: Enjoy your time with your sister, darling. I’m sure you’ve both got lots to catch up on. I’m glad she’s ok, though am sure it will take some time to fully sink in. xxx

C: I should be back in time tomorrow for the pub lunch with the others. If I’m pushing it I’ll message you and meet you there. Xxx

L: If you’re too hungover to make it back that early, don’t worry. ;)

C: Oi. I’m never hungover. Xxx

Loki laughed out loud at her last message.

He just finished eating when there was a knock on the door. With a frown, he made his way through to see who it was as he wasn’t expecting anyone. Though as he reached the front door, he could smell it was his dad and Chris before he opened the door.

‘Hey, Dad… Chris… What’s wrong?’ Loki felt his stomach drop. It wasn’t like his dad to turn up unannounced.

‘Nothing’s wrong, don’t worry. Chris was just informing me about what happened earlier with this Ray.’ Lucius said calmly.

‘Ah. Right.’ Loki nodded.

‘Can we come in?’ Lucius asked.

Loki glared over his dad’s shoulder at his brother, then nodded again and stepped to the side to let them in.

Of course, Bat came flying through from the kitchen to see who the visitors were. She jumped up straight into Lucius’ arms, making him chuckle as she began purring and rubbed her head against his chin.

They made their way through to the living room. On the way there, Bat clambered onto Lucius shoulder and spotted Chris behind him. She leapt from Lucius’ shoulder and straight at Chris. Who, if he didn’t have quick reflexes to catch her, would’ve ended up with a face full of fur.

‘Hi, Bat.’ He said quietly as carried the furball over to the single seat and let her sit on his lap when he sat down.

‘Traitor.’ Loki hissed under his breath, though of course the other two vampires heard it clear as day.

Loki knew that deep down Bat just loved everyone and anything that would give her attention, so he didn’t really take it to heart.

‘Is Claire not here?’ Lucius asked.

‘No, she’s away visiting her sister. Telling her the news.’ Loki replied.

‘Ah. That’s what I’ve come to find out. Are we going to get any backlash for this guy going missing? He’s not from around here, it won’t be as easy to just sweep his missing presence under the carpet.’ Lucius said, worriedly.

‘Well, I know her sister is relieved. Amongst other emotions. She wanted Claire to stay tonight so they can have some drinks and celebrate her freedom. I don’t think any of Claire’s family will be putting any thought into him going missing. She never mentioned if Ray has family himself.’ Loki shrugged.

‘If he’s been in prison, I suppose it would give the possibility of enemies from in there. Depending on his character with other inmates.’ Lucius hummed as he rubbed his chin.

‘Did he say much before you killed him?’ Loki asked Chris as he looked over at him.

Chris had been rather quiet, just stroking Bat and his eyes were locked on her, too. Till he was addressed, his eyes flitted up to Loki. ‘No. I didn’t give him the chance to say anything after he said he was looking for Claire.’

Loki rolled his eyes. ‘Why kill him though? I mean, yeah, it seems best all round now, but you didn’t know who it was!’

‘I was bored.’ Was all Chris responded with.

Loki clenched his jaw. He knew he wasn’t going to get a decent response out of him at the best of times, but more so when he was in one of his moods like this.

‘When Claire gets back, can you ask her if she thinks we need to be concerned about anyone coming to look for him?’ Lucius asked Loki.

‘Of course.’ Loki nodded.

‘I can’t fucking believe you’re dating a vampire! An actual, real life, vampire! They’re real!’ Louise laughed.

‘I know, I can’t believe it either.’ Claire laughed with her.

They were surrounded by junk food and were sharing a bottle of wine at Louise’s home.

‘It’s just like our childhood fantasies.’ Louise said fondly as she sank back into the sofa.

‘But so much better.’ Claire giggled.

‘I’m so glad that they exist. Or Ray would still be on the go… Who killed him? Was it a vampire relation of Loki’s?’ Louise asked.

‘Yeah, his brother.’ Claire said as she grabbed the wine bottle to top up both of their glasses. She noticed at that moment that they were almost finished the bottle already. Perhaps Loki would be proving right at this rate in regards to a hangover…

‘He has a brother?’ Louise sat forward again suddenly, almost spilling her drink, her eyes wide and intrigued.

‘Don’t even go there.’ Claire laughed. ‘It’s a bit complicated between them. Chris is a bit of a dick, although I do think there’s good in him somewhere that Loki just refuses to see for some reason.’ Claire shrugged.

‘Ah. That’s a shame…’ Louise sagged back against the sofa.

‘When you come to visit, I’m sure there will be a handsome vampire to sweep you off your feet somewhere in Demsdale.’ Claire assured her.

‘That would be an utter dream.’ Louise grinned. ‘I still can’t believe you’re here… That we can actually hang out again. God, I can’t wait to tell our parents.’

‘I know, me too. You’ve got your freedom back, sis. You can do whatever you want without looking over your shoulder constantly.’

‘I really do.’ Louise said as she began tearing up.

Claire shuffled closer to her and wrapped her arm around her, she tugged her in close and they hugged for a while, both with tears of relief and happiness.

‘So… Loki’s brother. Is he handsome?’ Louise asked after a pause.

‘Stop it!’ Claire laughed and playfully punched her in the arm. ‘I’ll introduce you to Matt, he’s a nice vampire and he’s good looking. I think he’s single.’

‘Ooo, deal. I’ll hold you to that.’

Your husband sighed in utter defeat "Why does things keep happening to me? Am I being punished my love?"

You shrugged sticking out your tongue then got closer to the caped individuals.

"Hey there! So you’re the guys who’ve been keeping my Loki busy while I was gone ha?"

Classic Loki laughed "Oh? It’s you, I haven’t seen your face in…centuries"

The others chimed in quickly, they looked you up and down curiously.

All almost feeling nostalgic at the sight of you, while your Loki felt protective and held your hand into his.

Although you felt a pair of eyes staring at you and realized it was the youngest, kid Loki, the innocent little prince.

"You look like you have a question little prince" you smiled at the boy which made him blush slightly and grabbed the edges of his Tunic top.

You had to admit that little speech did make your heart squeeze a little and it sure made kid Loki look more confident in this idea.

So it happened, you traveled back with the kid and your Loki, back to when time was still young and you see a smaller version of yourself swinging a sword in the air and striking a training dummy with sweat dripping down your face.

Kid Loki stood there for a moment, watching from afar with tenderness and loving innocence.

"Did you really look at me that way when we were children?" You asked your Loki who scoffed then looked to the side with pink tinted cheeks.

It was endearing to say the least.

"Hi! Can you stop for a minute I need to talk to you!" Kid Loki called your younger self.

"Sure whats up?"

You could make out the words "I like you" and how your younger self had his eyes go wide before holding kid Loki by the shoulders and kissing both his cheeks and matching his blush.

"I like you too! I’ll do my best to be the best boyfriend! Promise!" You shouted.

Your Loki rolled his eyes and smirked at you.
