similar to how he acts towards the rest of the league, i think Dabi would be very stand-offish and do his best to avoid you, simply because he doesn't want any distractions

he gets a lot clingier and more worried about your safety, such as insisting he be the one to patch up your wounds after a nasty fight or covering for you during a difficult mission when it really isn't necessary for him to tag along

considering his past, i do think that your his first (and most likely last) love, as he hasn't had the opportunity to engage in many- or rather, any- non sexual and intimate relationships. Dabi isn't going to confess, he's not brave enough or romantic enough, but it gets to a point where you either have to outright confess to him or continue dancing around your feelings for eachother for all eternity

if and when you confess, i think he'd be very... confused, to say the least. he doesn't know how anyone could possibly like him romantically, especially you. it takes him off guard, and i think he'd panic and run away or snap and say something harsh without meaning to. either way it's incredibly awkward and he internally beats himself up for it until he gains the courage to apologize and admit that he does like you too

the second the both of you are official the league congratulates you (and all pay Toga $20 for having the most accurate bet on if/when you'd both get together ), and after that you and Dabi are practically attached at the hip

he's suddenly a lot more clingy, and touchier too, but you'll have to initiate at first. like he'll come up beside you and stand uncomfortably close until you get the message that he wants you to hug him, but won't say anything. he's also a lot more possessive, even getting annoyed if you're spending too much time with Toga and Twice instead of him. despite being a fearsome villain known all across Japan as ruthless and cruel, he has an absolutely adorable pout when he's annoyed with you and its impossible to resist

overall, i think a relationship with him in this type of scenario would follow along heavily with the slowburn trope, and you both teach eachother how to love and be loved

he’s not new to it, certainly. after all, before you were lovers, you two were friends and he wasn’t a stranger to this problem of yours. however, when he was first introduced to it, he didn’t know what to do and what he could do to help you. he just let you talk about your experience with this conundrum, listening and silently noting the fact in his mind.

He’s probably very funny and needs a partner who he can joke around with. 4. Where do you find inspiration for new ideas?

Truthfully, I am not a creative person. I can't world build for the life of me. Historical fiction? Sci-fi? Supernatural creatures? I can't do it. So I get most of my inspiration from really mundane or ordinary things and events. Something like Kim struggling to find the perfect annivarsary gift for Chay is, I think, what a lot of people go through. I definitely go through it. So it became a story. Or the idea of washing someone's hair. I think that's a pretty intimate act; it's something that, to me, shows utter devotion to someone. So it ends up being a pivotal point in "And If You Don't Believe Me" for Chay to see that Kim is devoted to him. I'm also really lucky to be in conversation with really creative artists and funny people. The Woman, Shou, Mayy, Petal, Atlas, Faye constantly inspire me, even if we're not always talking.

15. How do you write smut scenes? Do you get very visual or detailed? How important is it to be realistic?

I have a lot of sex and watch a lot of hentai. Some of it just comes from memory of my own sexual experiences. When I'm pulling from memory or a journal entry, I get more detailed. I think there's nothing wrong with getting inspiration from pornography too. I stopped watching real people porn years ago, but I do sometimes pull up something to see how the body bends or works, or just to visually check something. (I somewhat did this for "It's Not as Good When I'm By Myself.") I don't think smut scenes have to be realistic because I would hope no one is using my fiction (or really any fanfiction) as basis for their own sex lives. So being outrageous and detailed and giving Chay like four consecutive orgasms is right up my alley.

18. Do you title your fics before, during, or after the writing process? How do you come up with titles?

I title them after, and I usually use some sort of song lyric that is based in the action or event of the story.

The decision to post is the worst part of writing. Sometimes, I look at the fact that I've posted over 20 stories for KinnPorsche, and for some reason, I get... ashamed? Embarrassed? I don't know the word. I just get weirded out that I'm writing so much. After I'm done with something, I'll judge myself too much and not post it. Not that posting is absolutely required, but I'll go into a story and think, "Yeah! We're gonna post this!" and then by the time I'm done, I think "No one will enjoy this." OR, worse, "I'm going to get judged for writing this." So that ultimately becomes the worst part of writing.

Someone telling me they enjoyed something I wrote is my favorite part of writing (aside from the action of writing.)

my dilemma is that initially i saw beejhawk as very avery/juliette coded and i still think that but the deeper into Nashville season 4 I get the more i also get rayna/deacon energy also so maybe a hybrid:

Hawkeye as the up and coming star who’s also been in the business forever, just behind the scenes (deacon & julliette). he’s opened for a lot of big names, has a bunch of songwriting credits, but hasn’t really had his shot at a big tour/album until now.

Maybe his career stalled a bit in his mid 20s bc of mental health stuff: he pulled off a big tour publicly, went into hiding for awhile, fans weren’t sure he was going to return (julliette & scarlet) And just came back with a new album that’s full of sensitive, heartbreaking, beautifully written love songs and is getting a lot of Grammy buzz…

BJ as the veteran country star who’s trying to branch out and reinvent himself (rayna) whose tour hawkeye dropped off back in the day. Thinking very Nashville here: they’ve loved each other forever, had a v turbulent and intense love affair, BJ got scared and married someone else (I hate the Peg/Teddy comparison but here we are I guess) and started a family. They can’t keep away from each other, make their best music when they’re together, have really entwined professional lives, and when Hawk’s ready to come out of his hiatus they end up in the studio together.

BJ’s always been interested in producing (Avery & Rayna) and maybe he starts his own label too (Erin as Maddie but she’s like…folk country vibes, maybe even Layla vibes musically)

and Hawkeye’s like “idk if I can do this alone, it’s been so long since I’ve written anything I liked, let alone the thought of performing.”

And it’s complicated and awful bc BJ’s still married or maybe in the process of getting divorced, finally, and they mean so much to each other but life keeps getting in the way and the press is all over them. And maybe they do a set at the Bluebird (baby steps into promoting the album they’ve been off hiding, making for months). And performing together: the lights, the audience, their undeniable chemistry, singing to each other about their history and all the wasted time…(GFA / deacon’s failed proposal where he doesn’t remember giving her the ring parallels I cry)

After the show Hawk just runs out into the alley and leans against the wall, trying to catch his breath bc they can’t keep doing this, can they? And BJ finds him and tells him he’s ending things with Peg, and that they owe it to themselves to give it another shot, don’t they?

He’s a little embarrassed about how it started — according to him it was just pure instinct, he knew he needed to be with you. His senses went crazy the moment he saw you, there was an instant attraction, a strong desire to keep you safe, and a feeling of security just by being around you, etc. He tried to shake it at first, thinking it was something else that must’ve interfered or been in the room causing his sense to go off in such an odd way. But he just got more and more confused when it happened in every single location you met him in, the hallway, the barracks, the ship, the hangar, literally anywhere and everywhere you were it happened. The more he thought about it, he realised it was a different kind of instinct than what he was used to. He faced the facts pretty quickly and tried to come up with a plan asked you out to try and keep you closer to him. He tried his very best to explain it to you, which made you laugh at the fact that he felt he needed to justify everything when you very easily would’ve said yes without any additional information.

Nicknames — you absolutely take advantage of the fact that his name shortened is “Hun” and you call him by it constantly, both in moments of affection and in normal situations. It’s actually more rare for you to call him by his full name, but when you do he loves it, that’s usually when he knows you’re serious about something or you’re trying to be intimate, he can tell by the tone in your voice when you say his name; it’s like you save it as a special privilege. // As for him, he calls you “honey” all the time and in the sweetest voice possible. In more private situations he calls you “beloved,” but that’s strictly between the two of you, no one else has ever heard him call you that.

Introducing you to the boys — Hunter is very open and honest about his relationship with you; it’s hard to know him and not know the boys at least a little bit so you know them from a distance. But once you’re in a relationship with Hunter, they basically treat you like family and really sweetly welcome you in. Hunter doesn’t hesitate to introduce you to the boys, but he does have a little talk about behaviour beforehand. If you’re important to Hunter, you’re important to them and that makes you feel so special and loved. Tech takes the most interest in asking you questions about yourself, and Wrecker treats you like a sister.

He’s a fast learner — in the process of dating you, he’s a very fast learner when it comes to figuring out what you like and don’t like. Admittedly, some of it is trial and error, but a lot of it comes from what he picks up from you, sometimes in obvious ways, other times in more subtle ways. He always commits to memory when you mention your favourites, no matter what. He once was on his way to you with some flowers he got off-world but overheard you in a conversation you were in the middle of before he tapped your shoulder say that you liked a different kind better and he not-so-subtly ditched the flowers before you turned around.

↳ that being said, he also learns quickly when it comes to romance and your preferences. He knows how you like to be held, hugged, and kisses, and he doesn't forget it, which means it's pretty perfect just about every time. He's far more romantic than he leads you on to believe, leading to surprises.

Kisses — they vary, he’s a big fan of kissing the top of your head, especially when you’re stressed. Likewise, when he returns from a mission, he wraps you up in a tight hug and places a lingering kiss to the top of your head, closing his eyes and breathing in your scent which he’s missed. He also tends to give you a deep, but tender, kiss, pulling away after a moment, waiting to see if you follow for more or pull back yourself. He always waits to see which mood you’re in first before going any further.

Scents — Hunter has heightened senses in more than one way, so when it comes to you, he really enjoys your scent, which you never thought about before. At first, you were pretty insecure about it, worried that it wasn’t pretty enough. Hunter can also tell when something of his smells like you, even when it’s not obvious to others, thanks to his enhancement, which means a lot of his stuff winds up smelling like you.

Cuddles — Hunter is a marvellous cuddler, sometimes he lets you cuddle and cradle him other times he’s the one cuddling and cradling you. The openness is something you appreciate about him. He 100% knows how to get his way when he cuddles you though, it’ll be very handsy and very sorry and warm. He also likes staying in comforting and snuggly postions with you, it’s not just a brief hug and done, he’ll literally keep you in his arms for an hour or more. // one time he was exhausted and invited you to the barracks for a quick snuggle while the other boys were out. You laid down and let him wrap his arms around you, resting his head on your chest, hips between your legs. You began to comb through his hair, even taking his bandana off (you’re the only person allowed to do that!) and stroking down his neck to calm him. It was so soothing that you both wound up dozing off; the others came back in to find the two of you asleep. “You know, they’re pretty cute!” Wrecker announces with a smile, to which Tech and Echo turn on their heels, each holding up a finger while shushing him.

You in red — Hunter 100% has a kink thing for you in red. That can mean red lipstick or it can mean red clothes, really anything with the colour. It flusters him the first time he sees you in red because he never realised how much he liked it, he had no idea until he met you that it was even a thing he liked. // He tries to play it cool and not be obvious about it the first time: he was walking over to you with Crosshair, Hunter was trying by to settle a debate with you being the tie breaker for the boys. When he said your name to get your attention he planned on just continuing to talk, but when you faced him with red lipstick on he was speechless.

How it starts — Echo was a tough one for you to figure out. You instantly had feelings for him, but you weren’t sure if he felt the same way. In reality, Echo had pretty quick feelings for you too, but he was insecure about them and himself to show them. So, I have this headcanon that James is really good at drawing/painting. Like I see him as being really creative in a lot of ways. But this particular creative outlet stared out as a little kid having fun with art like most of us do. BUT it developed into this passion and something he really wanted to be good at after meeting Sirius because he wanted to draw things to make him smile. Like this really took hold after he found out just how shitty Sirius’ family is. So over summer breaks James would just bombard him with drawings of anything and everything he could think of to cheer him up. (Comic strips, pranks unfolding, some crazy surreal image, you name it he drew it). Some move some don’t. Which eventually evolved into James drawing primarily the two of them together being their chaotic selves doing god knows what, but there is also some incredibly sweet, tender, and intimate ones that Sirius will never allow another person to see because they are HIS and he like sleeping with them under his pillow or something and stares at them whenever stuff at home get too hard before running away. 🥺😫💙

ok but !!! that’s so good!! i love it. i know people talk about musician/singer james but artist is a new one for me and it’s so lovely. i can see it too. he’d totally be the type of kid to leave handprints and scribbles and doodles all over potter manor and you just *know* effie and flea always encouraged it so he brought the habit with him to hogwarts; it’s not surprising to walk into their dorm and see the walls filled with all kinds of things.

i also like him channelling his energy and hyperactivity into art; using it as a way to process Big Feelings and when he’s feeling helpless/powerless which clinches very neatly with Sirius’ situation. james can’t do anything about it, not really, so he uses this medium to try and cope & make sirius feel better at the same time.

i’m also now imagining boudoir art (that’s a thing right? if it isnt, it should be) where he draws sirius in those super intimate moments u talked about and omg ok listen. i have a Thought.
