Heehee she's my main,,, a harbinger gremlin

Story !

Henri was a necromancer, alchemist and a student in the college of Dynamics, later becoming an assistant in a lab. She was as snooty and snobby as any other Asura (but even more brilliant, she says), especially passive aggressive and always reminding everyone of her genius. She would always swear up and down that she'd become the boss of everyone in that lab soon.

However, on one unfortunate day, there was an 'accident' at the lab. Some were killed, the rest were injured and escaped. Henri managed to escape as well, only to realize that her entire left arm was missing. It was a long recovery, more mentally than physically. Henri was left-handed and, even as a chaotic Dynamics student, never once anticipated that her pristine lab would end up as nothing but rubble, let alone take her dominant arm with it. Because of this, she was now considered useless, and couldn't get any work anywhere at all.

That 'accident' really bothered her. She was a very diligent and meticulous lab worker and kept things in tip-top shape, how could there be any accident at all? And she (generously) assumed all of the other Asura there were competent. Through some obsessive investigation on her own, and not much to her surprise, the Inquest had targeted the lab. Henri went back to the ruins of that lab and searched for any Inquest hideouts nearby.

Once she found it, she trashed the entire place with her necrotic minions and deadly elixirs. She tore off the arm of a golem, and tuned it into a prosthetic arm. Even if it was a crappy substitute, it still was better than nothing. It made her feel a little better, but she hides the arm by wearing a long sleeve and a full glove. Of course, she trained herself to do things with her other arm. Even while having a prosthetic, there are endless scenarios that could end horribly with it.

Losing her arm gave her a new perspective of things, realizing how quick Asuran society discards you for any little reason, your fault or not. Her Asuran arrogance fizzled out mildly, and she stopped using terms like 'Bookah'. She has a new boundless hatred for the Inquest, and laughs in the face of chaos and danger. She decided to go off on her own, distancing from Rata Sum. That made her perceived as a 'weirdo' and outsider, now that she finds more comfort being with the other races and other outcasted Asura.

With the threat of the Elder Dragons becoming more prominent every day, Henri became a commander in the Pact and later on joins Dragon's Watch even before its creation.

you smiled, running up to him with a small piece of bread in your fingers. having to live under poverty because of the 'bad guys' that were attacking your hometown was becoming even harder to find food yet alone shelter.

the boy with with blonde hair and purple eyes- that you swore you could look into them everyday and never got bored, turned to you with a wide smile on his face. "this is great! we finally have something to eat!"

the both of you shared the bread together under a rundown hut somewhere on the outskirts of sigonia-IV, looking over their homes.

the boy handed out a small bracelet, clipping it around her hand as he bashfully rubs the back of his head. "It's not much but.. at least this'll remind you of me."

"kakavasha.." she whispers softly, looking at him with tears in her eyes. the boy's face instantly turned pale as he nods to let you continue.

"promise me you'll stay with me, even if we get to leave this place, i want us to stay together. promise?"

the boy nods at your words, making a pinkie swear to seal their promise. little that you know that such promises were never bound to be true anyway.

time skips to current penacony

"y/n! check out the view!"

march 7th said as they all step down the express, looking over the reverie. the receptionist greeted them with a warm smile while himeko dealt with the room reservations.

"having problems with checking in?"

a voice that sounded so smug made them all turned their heads, facing a blonde man wearing a exclusive suit that was surely expensive.

"i beg your pardon, mr..?" welt asks, stepping in front of the girls. for some reason, you kept staring at the blonde man. something about him was giving off familiarity. "those eyes-"

"you like my eyes? why thank you, friend."

the blonde said in tone which definitely made you feel like slapping him. he sounded so cocky yet you can't help but feel like you know him from somewhere.

"kakavasha..?" you quietly spoke, making the blonde glaring daggers towards you. "Y-you're.. you're alive?" your hand reaches out to touch his cheek but the blonde stepped back. "the name's aventurine. i have no idea who you're talking about." he snapped, crossing his arms.

dismissing you, he went over to welt and himeko to discuss about the room reservations, leaving you, march and stelle alone. "you know the guy?" stelle asked with a disgusted look on her face. "yeah y/n, he was rude to you," march added. you brought out the bracelet that was wrapped around your wrist nearly as you walked up to the blonde who's name was aventurine.

"mr aventurine, sorry to disturb you but do you remember this?"

you showed him the bracelet, in hopes that this was the kakavasha she once cherished. aventurine flinches when his eyes lays on the bracelet but he shook his head a no. "no idea where you got that piece of art from," he replied bluntly. "you're from sigonia-IV! your eyes explains it! i'm y/n, one of the remaining sigonia-IV survivors-"

"i don't know you."

this made you stop dead as you blinked at him. "w-what do you-" "you heard me."

you lowered your head in shame as the commotion was already attracting other hotel guests in the lobby. stelle quickly steps in front of you as march tries to console you as the tears went down your cheeks unnoticeable.

"fine, we'll have it your way then." himeko glares at him, sealing their deal about the room reservations as aventurine lets out a chuckle. "spot on, astral express friends. enjoy your stay." and with that he walked passed you, sending you an annoyed look before walking away amongst the crowd.

"y/n..." himeko pats your back as she felt bad for what has happened between your interaction with aventurine. you only shake you head in response, giving the express crew a small smile, in hopes for them to ignore the fact that the boy you once loved was now a completely different person.

I have a lot of respect for their work. Besides, TSAC's color palette is very striking, which is what has initially drawn me to this AU.

@ask-the-colony-tree-siblings is @mushroominaforest's ask blog, and in this AU Arti and Hunter are siblings! Also, Mushroom's art style is a treat and immediately recognizable and I'm happy when i see it pop up in RW tag.

@firecracker-pup is run by @batnip; in a way it's a sibling-askblog to mine because both of our AUs center around the reinterpretation of Artificer's blue pup.

[I've been looking since seeing this ask. The problem being...Vic doesn't have much dropped about him. The Frost Bite twitter only has art and his character sheet. The patreon only has his art. The Purple official site doesn't have him. Mortis and Bile's tumblrs have nothing. Now for the sad news...Their curiouscat ask pages are now gone as the site has shutdown. So a crap ton of lore from multiple VNs is just gone. (this includes Broken Colors, Doublesided Mirror, Apples to Ashes, Your Dearest Boyfriend, and many others)

However...I did save many of these pages earlier when they went on hiatus (before any hint of shutdown so people assumed it'll just be there forever). This bit me in the ass though. As what I did save from Mortis and Bile's pages didn't have Vic lore. BUT! On Mortis's NSFW twitter, they show that they were answering Vic Q/As on CC before it went bye-bye (I'm sorry I didn't save that in time) and they posted the tweet answers. So I hope this small scrap is okay. It's sadly the best I could do. I'll try the Wayback Machine and see if...(it didn't work).]

Ain't That a bite Character/Kaiju Drop: HORIZIO/ KING GHIDORAH

"God dreamt of a nightmare, and it took the form of a three headed dragon"

So this is where I tell you that Horizio and the 3 headed golden god of destruction are one of the same, it was honestly a challenge to adapt King Ghidorah without doing something that's already been done. However I saw that Horizio had nothing going for him, so it led to a massive character change where horizio went from a man who went insane from extradimensional energy, to the human form of King Ghidorah.

Hence this art here drawn by my friend birbdroogan

I wanted to do something similar to how he was during King Of The Monsters, with each head having their own personalities

I wanted to take the more dominating side of the middle head, the cocky side of the right head, and the somewhat playful personality of the left head(so yeah, like the meme)

Also I won't get into specifics yet because it does spoil things but this Ghidorah has won before, and he reveled in it, he loves to win, he loves to destroy, and he absolutely loves drama

He was weakened from his victory though and was stuck to a human form(normal where he's from, he's the only one who can do this) however arguably he loves it more since he can go after certain people specifically.

He's a cult leader for a Kaiju dominated world because he decides "wanna know what would be funny? If I got more powerful and I get to watch everything burn down....and release all these funky guys on the earth"

Proudly presenting to you my kny oc: Yuuichi

So uhm, the basic info is on his character sheet☝️🤓 HAHA but here's his lore in case you're interested :D

He was born in Obanai's family, he's a cousin of Obanai and since he was born in the same family he got similar scars on his. (I don't want to spoil the manga much so I'll keep it brief) he suffered a similar childhood as his cousin and lived in a cell close by. He was later saved by Shinjuro Rengoku along with Iguro.

Timeskip to when he was finally ready to start training under Rengoku's wings, he managed to pass the exam almost one year later at the age of 17 1/2. Yuuichi developed his own breathing style called "smoke breathing" because it was easier to use and it's a weaker version of fire breathing.

Yuuichi is actually living in a small room in Iguro's mansion. He was offered a bigger room but didn't want to bother his cousin and is usually out doing tasks anyway. He and Obanai bonded over their shared trauma and they have some days where they go out to grab some food when they have time. Mitsuri also tags along since Yuuichi wants Obanai to grow closer to her and she doesn't bother him at all (he views her as a bestie)

Yuuichi is now Kinoto and is working his way up the ladder to become kinoe to hopefully become a hashira and fight alongside his cousin. Yuuichi tried helping as much as he could in the infinity castle battle and came out alive, almost unscathed.

He dropped out of the corps afterwards and lived as a civilian in a small house near Tokyo and died in 1942 due to WWII

Anyways, getting to the good part here are some facts about him ♥️

🌬️ favourite food: any type of onigiri (he actually likes fried onigiri most)

🌬️ hobbies: he always had a slight passion for art and he collects small hand carved trinkets from street vendors. Also ironically enough he smokes and has a kiseru on him (he doesn't smoke near children tho)

🌬️ he prefers gold over silver

🌬️ he does have a haori but usually leaves it at home since it annoys him during the fights (I was too lazy to draw it too, but it's grey)

🌬️ and Yuuichi is more nicer and emotional than Obanai, he just has a cold exterior to those he doesn't know. But he warms up to the strangers quickly

Hello! I hope your week is good to you, and if not that it gets better. It appears that you are intrigued by Lore Olympus. May I ask if you could do an analysis on Hades there, if you have the time. I love your thoughts on Persephone, and her duality. Also, have you ever had any thoughts on changing your header and icon to prevent from being thought as a bot?

So, I'll start from your last question about my icon and header :P I have, but never did out of laziness tbh. Probably I will one day, when I feel like it :)

Now, for your main question... yes, I enjoyed Lore Olympus's run! I am more of a casual reader, so I do not know the story or characters, as well as I do for other series. Still, it was a very fun read to have weekly:) I love the art and I think it had some genuinely great ideas and characters. I also think there was a drop in quality at a certain point and some pacing issues, but overall it managed to stay consistent with its main themes and delivered a satisfying conclusion to the two main characters' arc... All of this to say that I think the series gets way too much hate, which is honestly disproportionate and kinda absurd tbh... Like, there are series that screwed up more than LO ever did and get waaaaaaaaaaaaay less criticism. (Also, personally I feel strongly against the whole it isn't a good representation of the original myth argument...).

Anyway, this was all to say that yes, I can do a quick analysis of Hades. Or to better say, I can share my thoughts on him and what I think his role in the story is.

In general, Lore Olympus is a revisitation of Persephone and Hades's myth, which is extremely rich. So, it can be interpreted in many ways and a retelling can focus on many different aspects of the classical story... You can focus on Demeter's point of view and explore the story of a mother losing a child to an unjust society... You can have a Persephone trapped in the Underworld who is trying to escape from an abuser... You can even have an enemy to lovers' version of the myth... It all depends on what intrigues you the most about the story.

Now, obviously what intrigued LO's author is Persephone and Hades's complementary, which gets reflected in their designs, their personalities and their arcs.

Persephone is young, linked to spring (life) and feminine (hence why she is pink and has softer lines)

Hades is old, linked to the underworld (death) and masculine (hence why he is blue and has harsher lines)

The twist is that even if superficially Persephone and Hades seem to embody their gender stereotypes to a T, they are actually more complex. Persephone angers easily and can be impulsive and violent. Hades is sensitive and dreams of romance and belonging. They are both forced to comform to their gender stereotypes by society, which we soon discover having been created through a cycle of abuse. This violence is both generational (parents abusing children, who end up abusing their own children as a result of their own trauma) and domestic. Every King is able to rise to power only by using a more powerful Goddess and stealing their agency. As a result, Hades and Persephone's stories deal with these two kinds of abuse. And they do so in a mirrored way.

Initially:

Persephone's story focuses on her complicated relationship with Demeter, who is an abusive mother

Hades's story focuses on his complicated romantic story with Minthe, which is unhealthy

As the story goes on, though, the focus shifts:

Persephone faces Demeter and the two find closure. Meanwhile, though, she ends up as the object of sexual abuse by Apollo and she has to deal with the aftermath and the complicated feelings this violence leaves her with.

Hades and Minthe's relationship comes to an end (in a rather tumultuous way) and Hades can slowly address the root of all his complexes. That is his relationship with Cronos, his violent and abusive father.

Basically, by the end Persephone deals with romantic and sexual abuse. Her conflict with Apollo is linked to the mysoginy present in Olympian society. The mysoginy that made so all fertility goddesses before her were used and eventually discarded.

Hades's storyline instead deals with generational trauma and child abuse. He faces Cronos and realizes he doesn't have to be the kind of father Cronos was. That his father's abuse does not define him and that he can be happy with his new family.

This complementarity is made very obvious in the final arc, where Persephone deals with Apollo and Hades with Cronos. Not only that, but before facing their respective abusers both Persephone and Hades help another character:

Persephone resurrects Hera and frees the potential Zeus had been suffocating in their unhealthy relationship. She helps an older woman to find her own agency again.

Hades reassures his future daughter Melinoe that it is not her fault Cronos is abusing her. He saves his inner child by helping a small girl.

Finally, they do so by inverting traditional gender roles. On the one hand Persephone is given the chance to rage. The wrath she had been accumulating (which is literally embodied by Eris) gets to come out and she gets to humiliate Apollo and to walk away. On the other hand Hades gets to forgive Cronos. He frees himself from the hate and manages to move on.

When it comes to Hades, he is also throuhgtly foiled with Hera in this. In his final moments, Cronos is still projecting gender roles on both Hades and Hera. He projects Uranus on Hades and sees his son as an extension of his father. He instead sees Hera as a feminine presence that can understand, empathize and ultimately heal him. Well, it turns out he got them both wrong. Hades is the one empathizing with him, he is the one who has tried to understand Cronos all along. Hera instead is the one who despises him and who chooses not to care nor to forgive him in the end. Cronos does not understand them, so he ultimately dies without empathy... That is because he asked it from the wrong person.

Anyway, after defeating their respective abusers, Persephone and Hades find each other again and they unite their powers. However, they do so in the opposite way all the other royal couples did. Hades is the one empowering Persephone and not the other way around. As a result, Persephone fixes the macrochosm by reliving all the other fertility goddesses. Hades instead plays a key role in the microchosm by assisting Persephone. This is even highlight by Persephone becoming a giant and Hades happily flying around her.

So, these are my general thoughts on the series, its main themes and Hades's meaning for the overal narrative.

Thoughts on closure? (Take this as an excuse to ramble to your hearts content)

You are too kind Hoa.

Unfortunately, despite quite a bit of somewhat recent Closure content, there hasn't been much to say about her that I haven't said already.

It was nice to see her in episodes 10 and 11, but for the most part her characterization is pretty much exactly what we already knew, just presented in a way that doesn't require you to have scoured every bit of lore that mentions her to put it together. This may mean she will be a more major character in later events, which could be fun (I would love an event that went into detail about the lifestyle of a "normal" vampire).

There is one scene in 10-14 before that I did really like though:

Closure: Your work environment is way too... Feist: Impoverished? You can speak your mind, the commander isn't here. Closure: ...Way too much of a challenge. *cough* *cough*... Feist: Miss Closure... Closure: What's up? Feist: D-Did you know, when you talk about being challenged, your eyes seem to... light up? Physically. Closure: Huh? Really? Must be because I'm getting excited... Is it scary? Feist: I-It's fine. Feist: To be honest, it wasn't until I met you that I found out... Uhh, that Sarkaz can do more than just fight. Closure: Oh... Uh, there are a lot of people who aren't fighters, like me. Closure: Naturally, I'm a vampire, so of course I was born with some handy talents. Feist: Huh? Y-You... what is this speed?! It'd take a week for me to do what you did in a single night! Closure: Why do you think the pillars of Rhodes Island are so good? Closure: Take a good look at my eyes. Closure starts bragging about being a vampire, and then immediately has a physical reaction to just thinking about what most vampires are like. It's so good. She also gets to be a little scary (yay!).

I enjoyed this one too:

Closure: Not bad! For an instant back there, I thought I was gonna get my head painted over Londinium's walls! Amiya: It was Misery's Arts. He wouldn't see us hurt. Misery: Right... Kal'tsit told me your brain was an important asset to Rhodes Island. Closure: My hands don't come cheap either, c'mon! Closure: After that, I'm never asking to hitchhike with you again... Blaze carrying me everywhere is a way smoother ride than your Arts!

Blaze Express enjoyer Ada Church. Also, unless I've forgotten something, this is about as close as we get to Kal and Closure interacting during both episodes, which brings me to my next point:

I didn't like the treatment she got in the last scene of episode 11. They both: didn't really give her a reaction to Kal'tsit doing that and didn't make her punch out those mooks. Like, maybe she knew Kal would be okay, but it's weird Shining gets a reaction, while the person specifically stated to care about Kal'tsit in Kal'tsit's files doesn't, right? They were doing so well and they dropped the ball right at the end! Make Closure do a violence and feel sad about it!!

Oh, and I very much enjoyed Weedy's oprec, in which we learn that she smells of machine oil.

Interview with Kes

Kes and Dema talk DA homecoming, tragic plotlines, and inlfuencing you (yes you!) to buy a [redacted]

Dema: As an artist who creates a lot for the Dragon Age fandom, what inspired you to start?

Kes: Well, I've always loved stories and fantasy, but I wasn't really able to get into the visual (gaming) side of things until I built my first PC with my dad when I was 15. The first thing I did was dump an extraordinary amount of time into Skyrim, and then I was recommended Dragon Age Origins as a similar game on Steam. I'd always been sort of arty but never people - Dragon Age Origins really changed that and I desperately needed to draw a bunch of the stories I'd imagined (and written) for my Warden. The reader/writer to artist pipeline if you will. The DA storytelling was like getting to read a book, but instead I could interact with it and see it. Totally changed the game for me.

Dema: Were you playing them as they came out?

Kes: I think that was a little bit after DAO came out, but I played DA2 and DAI on release

Dema: Have there been any lulls in your Dragon Age devotion, or has it remained pretty steady?

Kes: My interest built up steadily but I went properly unhinged around DAI's release and the 3ish years following. Adulthood was a good distraction in the hibernation period between Trespasser and DA4, and I actually foolishly thought I'd been reformed, then the DA4 news really started dropping and I've completely fallen for it all over again. It feels like coming home.

Dema: I'd love to ask what specifically about it feels like a homecoming 💖

Kes: Nothing since DAI and Trespasser has quite scratched the Dragon Age itch - that very specific combination of its exploratory lore, very unique takes on magic and world-building and the character complexity. I've spent the whole time hungry for more of Thedas and wanting to know what happened/what will come next, nothing could actually fill that void. Enough time made me sort of forget about the intensity of said Dragon Age itch but after the gameplay reveal I was like, oh yeah, this is what I have been missing.

Dema: Right?? I think it's the depth of the character development for me, in particular. Do you have a favorite character or plotline? Something you get your teeth into and want to shake like a dog?

Kes: Oh so many. I adore the loneliness and isolation and despair of the warden Mahariel questline, Alistair actually asking your Mahariel what the Dalish do to mourn their loved ones in a game that had up until that point largely ostracised her continues to alter my brain chemistry to this day. Morrigan and Flemeth's deeply troubled mother daughter relationship is always so meaty to dig into, every time they resurface I think we get more tragic layers. I think the evolving plot over what spirits are is probably my favourite in the series though, the way they interact with the world, what they've become vs what they were? Makes me insane actually.

Dema: I am losing my mind over that glimpse of Morrigan in the DA4 trailer. Since this is also an artist interview: did any visuals in the game particularly strike you? A demon's design, a location, an object, or something else? And related to that, is there something from DA that you particularly enjoy as an art subject?

Kes: Like basically every artist in the DA fandom I'm fairly sure the DAI tarot card art style changed me as a person. In general the progression from DA2's stylisation to the DAI stylisation I think is really lovely and I've been trying to incorporate some of that texture and movement and composition into every artwork I've done ever since. Surprising absolutely no one, I've actually really loved drawing DA elves, so many of them fit what I call the 'elf lines theory' where they have this very 'geometric' shape / proportions. I feel like Solas does this in the most exaggerated way because there's no distraction of hair, but all elves are my favourite to draw for this reason.

Dema: Do you have any tools you can't live without? 

Kes: Unsure if this is allowed because it might sound like a bit of a shill, but I would like to shout out my trusty tablet that I've had for almost a decade and I still love using. For anyone who has been a Wacom user their whole lives, I really urge you to try Huion tablets.

Dema: Not a shill, I for one love to know what other artists like using! When you're working on a collaboration like this, what does that process look like for you?

Kes: Generally I will read/watch something and an idea will really 'catch' me while I'm doing that which I want to draw. What's really fun about this collaborative process is getting access to the artist that inspired me to really pick their brain and test my ideas against their vision.

Dema: Oh that's exciting! How's your progress on the Bang piece? Are you feeling excited about it?

Kes: I think the challenge has been the story I'm trying to capture has a lot of really rich progression of character over a long period, so I've had a lot of different ideas I wanted to represent, and I had a lot of original concept ideas that I've sketched and combined and discarded and taken elements from. It's been an evolutionary process but I think I did finally get to turn a lot of those ideas into a cohesive main piece I'm really excited to see finished.

Dema: I am very excited to see it, too! Thank you for taking this time to be interviewed, Kes, it's been delightful.

PSA. / 2024 goals !

the reason i haven't been writing a lot is i've mostly been on my OC trying to play catch up on her lore and worldbuilding. you can find her in the pinned post . also i've been planning what i want to do for mizuki for 2024, and my interest very normal love for best girl only gets better each year. i just hope to do justice by her in my own way as i figure out what i'm doing post AI1.

as i'm canon divergent and i have a few things to talk about that i'll be hoping to capture or discuss hopefully some of this year that are parts of my mizuki's canon ! so i'll try doing it in uh, the most organized way because one goal i have at least for 2024 is better blog organization . it's too late to make a sideblog for musings / etc . THINGS I'LL BE DOING THIS YEAR . - focusing on catch up. unless a thread is requested to be dropped, please message me if so, i'll be continuing it. some i will drop for my own sanity, not because i don't want to write with you again! - seasonal / holidays asks will just be holiday asks with no specific content save for people i owe, ex: bubblez' kizuna or thane's trunks, etc. why? i think mizuki deserves to celebrate the holidays or anything remotely happy because while aiba is arguably as of now her best support system, let's be real, i genuinely want to find and work on any of her relationships because she's severely lacking in support. even from 2023. i'll try to stay more on the ball for again, my own sanity this year when i reblog them. - i will be writing my version of post-canon mizuki and child mizuki, that goes from her time before adoption from date, aka with shoko and renju which will be tagged appropriately because honestly mizuki doesn't know many reliable adult figures in her life, and it makes me very sad that she's arguably more mature than...most people save say, boss or pewter or hitomi etc. she deserves better! just because AI2 certainly isn't everyone's cup of tea, and it isn't mine in a LOT of ways, i still took stuff from it, and i don't think it's fair to halt mizuki at 12 forever just because we fairly have critique of NI / AINI and not let her grow up and experience a hopeful future and more bonds to fill the huge hole in her heart. let her be happy is the goal !

now i'm working on mizuki's post canon verse, as i've restarted aitsf 1 to move to aitsf 2, where i'll take a few things that i won't likely budge on unless you meet me halfway !

the verse title for anything post-canon and generally for 18 year old mizuki / teen mizuki or post explosion mizuki will be this verse tag!

now onto her post canon details i do have figured out.

mizuki and aiba are partners. one thing that's consistent is through her time with date, that can still be a thing because they ARE a family, albeit i feel estranged granted the resolution route is canon, so mizuki never really got to bond with him, get her aphonia cured, vice versa, is aiba's care through time in his eye socket appreciating the girl's strength and endurance and intelligence in both games. you can have more than one partner, and until / if we have another game and mizuki possibly gets another partner and i debate the chemistry, aiba is mizuki's partner and aiba is generally mostly with mizuki, but that doesn't mean she isn't with date too. she can love more than one person. and both dates are equally dear to her.

mizuki was still experimented on until 3 years old at horadori institute, albeit she has blurry memories at best, and i debate if she should fully remember! one factor of her godlike superhuman strength. but she also is trained in most japanese martial arts she can get her hands on! she is NOT a clone of bibi, bibi doesn't exist whatsoever despite me enjoying her personality, even if i felt it was made to mimic mizuki herself, if others who have muses with canon bonds to bibi, please talk to me so we can plot it out if you keep her as part of your canon ! as long as we meet halfway i'm more than happy to work with you !

mizuki is still a rookie detective and psyncer at ABIS. in my canon, she actually looks to ryuki, also new, but older for advice and i like to think as dual protagonists that they should have been, they get to do some cases together! only if a ryuki is willing of course.

for now, she's working on small to medium cases with aiba. the explosion still happened that took her vision clean out. she does this because of the gruesome history she has, not wanting others to suffer the same kind of unimaginable trauma she has with both biological parents murdered in various means and i'm still debating whether tearer even exists. he likely will, and if people also have the other culprit's actions in their canon, please talk to me too and i'll work together with you on that !

mizuki still runs lemniscate and sunfish pocket. she doesn't have the heart yet to really let go of her neglectful biological father's companies, even if he didn't care for her in a way she needed. in time, i'll see how she feels about this, as i do plan for mizuki to continue her education, as the girl is extremely intelligent.

mizuki is still best friends with iris, but my mizuki also considers amame and kizuna two of her really close friends, but they aren't a sister to her like iris is. they're certainly caring of her, and she'd protect them with her life, but she isn't as close to them as iris, and all of them do hang out together from what i've seen.

my mizuki is a lot more skeptical for the kizunas out there, of lien. she isn't comfortable with his advances towards one of her best friends and generally is a lot more protective. that said, it's all according to people who write kizzy. naturally she's fiercely protective of iris, who now is someone who works for her too as the president of an entertainment company.

my mizuki comes from the MIZUKI ROUTE in terms of character development but NOT THE PLOT EVENTS . iris is not inhabited by so sejima. date and mizuki DO bond like a father and daughter. date unless a date talks to me, DOES cure her aphonia or it's hitomi herself like canon because hitomi is the mom she deserves imho. but i tend to take away the development of her character and their relationship otherwise i feel the date family bond is....pretty estranged or mizuki is MUCH more doubtful of date caring for her at all granted the routes and how she tends to get overlooked a lot.

basically i want to as one of i'm sure other mizuki-mun's, give her my best in my own way, at my own pace !

and those are my goals as i replay the games (again!) . i hope to keep developing mizuki and thank you for being so patient with me as always, everyone ! also kinda sorry for the long post but it was all necessary !

Ohhhh emmmm geeee this chapter had me feeling EVERYTHING!!

- the drunk phone call?? Paige telling Azzi that she hates her?? I cannot even IMAGINE those words coming out of P’s mouth normally, but it being directed to Azzi?? That’s insane. That part fr made my jaw drop. And then all of P’s confession to Azzi about how she’s completely ruined her and that all that she’s ever wanted is for Azzi to be with her and proud of it?? Mannnnn that took me out like I had to put my phone down for a sec 😭😭

- AZZI PUNCHING DRUNK ASSHOLE GUY?? I fr thought Paige was gonna CLOCKKK him (love how you were building it up like that), but that it being AZZI who throws the punch? Good for her and I know that punch was good and felt good too!! Stupid bar man, do NOT mess with Stephie or Azzi, keep them out of your mouth!!

- I lovedddd the bandaging scene! Paige being livid, ordering Azzi to sit and Princess actually listening?? that’s how you know it was serious lol. But I really liked P taking care of A and fixing her up… gave such domestic/familiar vibes

- And lastly, you couldn’t end the chapter without a banger!! Paige’s insecurities coming up again and Azzi saying that Paige is an exception to all of her rules?? Yup yup yup chef’s kiss Nivi you ateeee that ending up

Can’t wait to see how their teammates react! Jana’s reaction is gonna be hilarious I know it, but I’m also excited for their teammates who don’t know their whole lore yet and what they’ll have to say about this bar night!

PS: Paige calling Clemence as clementine is sooo fitting bc that’s actually something I can see being doing irl haha

- Yeahhhh irl Paige would never but GH!Paige who's drunk and going through a crisis unfortunately does not think things through at all.

- I feel like Azzi can deal with anything that's being done towards or her or said to her. But once it's someone she loves and especially if it's Stephie, well she could have probably killed that man if she wanted to.

- I'm a sucker for the "attending your wounds after you punch someone" trope and I really wanted to write my own take on it cause I know usually it's kinda flipped.

- So a little look into my writing process is that sometimes I build scenes around lines and this scene was an example of that. Like the whole thing was written based off of the "exception to my rules" comment.

- Everyone's reactions are definitely gonna be amusing!

- Another fun little tidbit that I very much named the chatacter Clémence just so I could make the Clementine joke 😭

I'll drop a few facts about Zac here!

Zachary is an Englishman, though he has a half of Latin blood from his late mother. This is shown through his tan complexion.

Zachary learned how to skateboard at the young age of nine. It was his older brother who influenced him.

While he was still dating Dahlia, he was at the age of twenty-one. In the present, Zachary is now twenty-six years old.

Zachary currently lives in a medium-sized apartment with his brother.

He doesn't live in a very stable family. His mother tragically died due to childbirth. And when his father discovered this, he blamed Zachary for her death and started abusing him and only him.

His brother held a kind and strong heart, so he did his best to protect and care for Zachary when his father was about to beat him.

Zachary fell in love with Dahlia because her dark brown eyes reminded him of his late mother's eyes.

Zachary's height is 175cm (5'9" ft).

He doesn't have an occupation for the time being. He enjoys skateboarding more than working under a company. Besides, his brother can already provide their needs.

Zachary's favorite food is spicy instant noodles, and his favorite drink is iced caramel macchiato.

Hey Chatte, hope all is well!

One of my favorite my art pieces from Kaika so far is the picture of the Uzumaki clan with an adult Arashi. I’m a sucker for lore especially for shows/comcis/managa that I love. I’m interested in the history of the Uzumaki clan and how it changed from the matriarchy to the patriarchy and how Ashina came to power. I’m also excited on how Naruto and Karin relationship is going to play out and it looks like that will come first before her eventual meeting with Sasuke. I also like how you are giving her and Sakura agency. (Yes we want them to get together with their respective partners) but I’m excited to see how their own personal stories move forward. Finally that art piece that has Naruto and Sakura as sun gods, you think they be a chance with Sasuke and Karin as moon gods? Can’t drop an awesome concept like and be done with it, and we have to their children to as a little pantheon lol.

The thing is I have sooo many ideas in my head. I only wish I had the finances to act upon all these ideas lol.

Anyway, as for the Uzumaki clan, I hope you guys will love the lore I have for the exchange from the matriarchy or Ohirume to Ashina's patriarchy. It'll involve something really juicy, if you ask me, haha.

I just hope you guys will find it as juicy as I do in my head, lol. It's all in my mind, I just need to get to it.

Like I said on my other socials, I'm currently planning on writing Kaika's 13th chapter, after which I plan on taking a break from that because I wanna fully focus on plotting the story in arcs.

I already have the timeline finished from a looooong time ago, I just never got to the point where I actually arrange it into arcs & see how I can display all that history & background I worked on.

As for Karin and Sakura, thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed that because honestly, from a writing perspective that has been a top priority of mine - for the girls to have their own agencies outside of the boys, even if I wanna go with those respective pairings.

As for the artpiece, it's already ordered. I wanted to have it as a surprise but you spoiled it for yourself. :P

But yeah, I already ordered it and it will definitely fit with the entire pantheon haha. You'll see more when I publish it.

Two pieces of art for one day! Yeah, I have a lot of stuff to drop off, so I might as well drop it off Eh?

As I mentioned before in a previous post, Mako is very flexible to an impressive degree…to the point where sometimes she can even surprise herself! She was just messing around with her body until she managed to get herself into this position….don’t ask me how she did it though.

This is actually an advanced yoga pose called “Kandasana” which is pretty hard to do (that’s an understatement), but of course Mako can get into it pretty fine, all that training she did accidentally paid off :p

This isn’t the first time one of my characters is seen doing this. If you guys know Alma, she’s definitely capable of doing this too, and I have a picture of that too you guys can look up if you’re interested. All that aside, when Mako learned she could do this, and figured out it’s a yoga pose, she implemented it into her yoga practice, and loves this pose now. Hell, she even meditates like this sometimes too!

All that lore babbling aside, I was planning on doing a lot of hard work drawing stuff for…a lot of people. And I figured I’d draw this as a bit of a way to familiarize with drawing again before I get hard at work making stuff. I think it came out pretty well! And I did a couple new things here too! Although I won’t list them since most who follow my tumblr won’t catch them though. The only problem here is Mako’s face. I don’t think I did the best job trying to capture the confusion in her face she’s probably feeling right now. But it’s good enough I guess.
