Normally I would open commissions so you guys get SOMETHING in return for supporting me but I’m still in a disgusting slump where I can’t seem to draw, but we need to bring the pictured little goober to the vet. He’s been having incredibly bad and constant diarrhea, as well as constant congestion and sneezing up just massive globs of mucus. I hate asking, and normally wouldn’t, but we also had to again take our car in for repairs. So if(and only if, please take care of yourselves first) you can, my ko-fi is here. living through major historical events is never going to be easy or fun, but im trying to keep in mind one of my favorite quotes from uncle iroh.

it’s ok to feel anxious, to feel angry, but please take care of yourself today. avoid doomscrolling, hug a friend, do something that brings you comfort. do what you need to in order to keep your head above water.

then, once you’re steady, support the people around you. be kind. do what you can to help your neighbors and friends, especially those who will be feeling the greatest effects of the outcome of this election. if we want to see change in the world, we need to take those first steps ourselves. we will create hope in these dark times, because we will care for each other and take care of one another. as long as we’re here, as long as we care for each other, as long as we fight for each other, there’s hope.

Hate it when in fics they make Hajime say “baby”. He would not call Toru “baby.” He’s just like. Not that kind of guy!!! In my head he calls Toru by his name and if he’s feeling particularly sweet he’ll drop a “babe” or “hon” but nothing more!!!! Pet names are Toru’s thing!!

hiii everyone ! one of my lifelong friends adopted a young cat a few months ago knowing that he has leukemia. unfortunately he was recently diagnosed with FIP, which has a 100% fatality rate without treatment. the good news is they’ve already started treatment, but it’s very expensive. they’re already working full time and she’s getting another job just to afford vet bills; i know money is incredibly tight right now and there are plenty of campaigns with goals that haven’t been met yet, but if you’re able to continue supporting palestinian, sudanese, and congolese GFM’s, please please please consider donating to mona’s treatment fund. otherwise please help us reach her goal by sharing this post around. thank you so much for reading <3 🫶

The Acolyte idea about Mae’s master:

There’s not much to go off of other than some very exposition-y dialogue between Qimir and the other characters since we’ve only had two episodes of him, but it’d be interesting if he turned out to be Mae’s master.

It would explain his weird and unsurprised delivery of the line “You really do look just like her” when Osha tries to get info in the apothecary, considering she’s supposed to be dead as far as that character knows, and the rest of his dialogue with Mae after that is laying some (unfortunately very obvious and tell-not-show) clues for Mae to pay attention to the fact Osha is allied with the Jedi and has an attachment to Sol and their master ‘needs’ her to kill a Jedi without a weapon or he’ll kill her, it’s not impossible to do, etc etc. He’s conveniently there to watch her progress the whole time and see what she does, he knew where Kelnacca was, and he knows (from an again-obvious and frankly baffling exposition monologue) that Mae decided to go rogue at the end of the fourth episode

I know the master could be somebody entirely independent and Qimir is just a supporting character but the season’s at its halfway mark and it would feel more compelling to work with the characters we’ve already introduced, especially if the showrunners still want this story to be somewhat of a mystery in the ways the mystery genre works.

honestly I have nothing much to say about the canvas ( because I skimmed through it out of lack of interest even tho I was fixated on sbg for idk how long before you all saw DONT even lie ) but I lowkey love Ashlyn’s little dancer costume it’s very silly !!! Also kinda hoping their silly little homeless children costumes ( hopefully that’s not offensive ) come into play at one point . Like . . a school play . I’m screwing around with ideas here .
